Would anybody be interested in doing a group roleplay that's fairly
sandbox in nature, and combinds Martin Scorsesi films, Breaking Bad,
Sons of Anarchy, and the Shield? It would be episodic, and the threads
would be broken down into seasons. It would see the rise of a criminal
empire, starting off as a simple drug distribution group, that
branches off into multiple other criminal jobs, including tax
collecting, hiests, and cold blooded murder.
All roleplayers would be encouraged to be able to write multiple
characters, as character death is supposed to happen. There is meant
to be an air of drama, even to the point of being melodramatic. There
will be sex, there will be violence, there will be the use of drugs.
Being sandbox, the players will be allowed to incoporate their own
storylines, and interwine their stories with other players to create
multi-layered characters and build upon a fictional city ridden with
criminals.
Each playable character will be either a criminal, or dragged into the
criminal enterprise, meaning that you can play someone such as a cop,
but said cop has to be corrupt. Such plot lines that I will be adding
in will be stuff such as gang wars, cops investigating and trying to
shut down the family, and the death of a major player in the criminal
family.
I hope you guys consider this! This is a chance for you to live the
life as a criminal, and explore the underworld in a way that you never
(legally) will be allowed to!
