"Mhm." He caught a flash of her for a moment, narrowing his eyes. She did look like the one in the picture... He began heading towards where he had seen her, determined to finish whoever it was off. It no longer mattered; even if she wasn't his target, she would die anyway. Human life meant little to him. There was only the job.

"So uh..." Agni sighed. She didn't know what to say next. Now she just had to wait and let her prey come to her. And hope her prey didn't fight back of course. tilting her head, she heard the muffled sound of footsteps and nodded to herself. Wouldn't be long now.

Axel was just around the corner now. He paused at the end, taking a deep breath, his knife in hand and in front of him. He was pretty certain she was around the corner, but how far... He didn't know. He'd just had to risk it. Taking a step, he lunged around the corner with his knife pointed outward.

Seeing the movement in the corner of her eye, Agni ducked and grabbed the blade. Wincing when it dug into the flesh of her hand, she redirected it to hit the wall in hopes of dislodging it from the grip of her attacker and turned so that she was facing him. "Alex..." she muttered to herself. She knew her target was also an assassin, but in no way did she expect to see him there. In her garage. Trying to kill her.

He had gotten the first strike, satisfaction flowing through him. However, the first thing he noticed was the gun in the other's hand. He had known she was an assassin but... Was she also trying to kill him? Had he really given off that much of a vibe? It no longer mattered. He had the upper hand. Pulling his knife back, he went in for a second strike before she could shoot him.

From what she could see, Agni guessed that he only had a knife. Then again, she had to be prepared. Scowling, she side-stepped the second attack and brought up the pistol to aim. But of course he was moving to fast and she hadn't planned on close combat. Glancing around, she picked up a monkey wrench in her left hand and aimed to strike his head.

Axel darted back, the wrench just barely missing him. He switched his grip on the knife to a backhanded one, before closing in again and slashing it towards her neck. He needed to stay within range, otherwise she could easily end him with a bullet. Axel had no plans to die today, and he wanted to end his mission fast.

Agni huffed, annoyed that this ordeal had already taken so long. She used the wrench to deflect the knife, causing the blade to slide down the smooth chrome before stepping back and knocking over a few tools.

The knife scraped down the wrench, but that didn't stop Axel from another strike. He kept stepping forward, trying to push her back and get into her personal space so she couldn't use the gun. He was good at knife combat; no one had killed him yet. This was just another job, another target, and it would end in the same way all others did. With her dead.

Agni grimaced, stepping back further until her back hit the wall. With a scowl she kicked out her foot, trying to knock him off balance whilst using the wall for her own balance.

Axel had to step back to avoid the kick, scowling that it was taking so long. He lunged back in immediately, slashing his knife towards the gun. If they were going to have an extended fight, he needed to get rid of the weapon. He wasn't prepared to be killed by a bullet, out of everything.

Agni hissed at the pain and finally dropped the gun. Scowling, she kicked it away so that neither tripped and that he could grab it if he decided to try. That done, she picked up a smaller wrench from the ground and began attacking again.

Now that the gun was out of the way, Axel could afford to take a few steps back. The wrench scraped off the end of his knife, but he was pushed back. She was stronger than he had thought, but it was still clear he was superior in close quarters. Holding out a hand, he was prepared to grab her weapon and to pull it away from her.

Agni pushed away from the wall to follow and brought the smaller wrench down towards his knofe hand, unaware of the other that had grasped the larger wrench.

Axel had a grip on the larger wrench, but the smaller one was faster. He managed to deflect most of the swing, however the force of it sent his knife flying. Growling, he pulled the larger wrench closer to him in order to try and pull her off balance, before sending out a kick towards her stomach.

Before his boot had collided with her stomach, Agni let out a surprised squeak at the sudden movement, followed by a groan as she doubled over, her grip on the wrenches loosening greatly.

Axel's eyes lit up for a moment, as he saw his chance. He yanked hard on the larger wrench, planning on using it to smash the other's head in. The fight had gone on long enough, and he wanted to end it in one go.
[/fieldbox]

((Aish, sorry man. Been a bit busy.))

When the wrench was yanked away from her Agni lost balance, almost falling on top of the other assassin. Recovering from the ahock of the kick, she pushed all her weight into the fall, hoping to take him down as well.

{No problem, there's no rush c:}

Once again, his plans didn't go to plan. Axel's eyes widened as the other came toppling down on top of him, sending them both to the ground. He saw stars for a moment as his head hit the floor, groaning lightly as he tried to recover fast enough that she didn't have an advantage.

Agni huffed, pushing herself up and shaking her head to clear it. Seeing her chance, she pulled at the larger wrench to try and take it from him and distract him whilst bringing the smaller towards his head.
