Plot:
The year is 2090 and the world is quite differnt than the one we know of today. Science has made great leaps and bounds, as have the magic that once was within the world reamurged. This led to the rapid rise of quality of life and end to many old conflicts. However new ones rose to take the place of Old. The biggest is Heroes vs. Villains, those who would use their powers to protect and aid people and those who would simply use them for their own gain, no matter the cost. While initially the government went against both of them, while trying to make their own with the rise in science and new magic but ultimately failing, sided with the Heroes. While the support was appreciated the numbers were starting to dwindle. So with the help of some influential Heroes bills were passed to get camps to train young Powereds to become Heroes. Camp Riseing Hero was one of the first, built on the grounds of an old military base. Recently it has seen a pretty harsh decline as more and more camps opened up, some even private. However the new at risk program seem to be bearing fruit. However it posed a risk as did the sins buried in the old base.
History:
It started up in the 2020's with a trickle. occasional odd events fit only for the tabloids at first. Then it slowly picked up in frequency and severity. Soon enough It got to the point where people started showing up with powers both mutagenic and mystical in nature. With heavily crime ridden areas the pre-cursors to super-villains and super-heroes manifested, as symbols of hope and despair. At first Governments and people rejected both and actively hunted and created countermeasures but in the end, sided with the Heroes. They even started to create the facilities to train said Heroes.However there have been incidents of former countermeasures rising and villains attacking.
Power Types:
ESP: Psionic Based abilities. Telepathy, Telekinesis, and other related mental based abilities fall into this category.
Elemental: Ability to manipulate fire, water, earth air, light or darkness. level of control and ability and project their element varies.
Physical: Super Strength, speed, and other physical attributes that are far beyond the capability of normal humans.
Energy Base: Abilities that allow manipulation and projection of various energies. Usually is projected from one part of the body.
Support: Abilities involved with boosting powers of others, senses of another or wielder, speeding healing process, or other non-direct offensive or defensive capabilities.
Map:
Training Zone- A place where powers are honed as well as bodies. Arenas equipped to deal with extreme abuse from training bouts. Obstacle courses that push them pretty hard, plus stuff you would find at any normal gym and specialized equipment to improve powers and control.
Cabins- Large log cabins that can house quite a few campers inside. Gender seperate rooms with several bunk beds in the rooms. each has about four rooms, not counting bath and common area, are four, two for each gender. Councilors get their own, more personal style cabins.
Dining Hall- Another large log looking building that has a stage for announcements to be made, bunch of four sided tables with benches. Food was served almost buffet style.
Grounds- The outdoor area of the camp and surrounding woods in the walled area. while they have a few hiking areas, it's generally frowned upon to enter the woods, due to safety concerns.
Offices- Administrative, storage and nurse's office. Said nurse office is much like a small but advanced hospital.
Pool- A pool. Has diving board and slide. some shallow areas and deep ones. pretty basic really. Has suits for those without any.
Rec. Area- A building and some surrounding area with some things to do on off time to help the campers cool off a little.
Old Base Ruins- The ruins of an old military base. It seems to have been abandoned in a rush, several things were still there and a long time ago judging by the amount of forestry reclaiming it. Forbidden territory in camp rules. It is rather small in the amount of surface area it takes up as far as bases go. Plenty of underground stuff though
Abandoned Island Manor- Another forbidden zone in the middle of the lake. The place is a Gothic southern style to it and looked even at distance something real bad has went down.

Personality: This girl has some issues. Short fused, very anti-authority, and not exactly social. overall very rough around the edges. However underneath is actuall a rather kind and protective soul, can even be nuturing to young ones. Howevershe is conflicted. There is a part that still wishes to lash out at the world for all the pain she has, and one that doesn't. overall a rough tough creampuff still bearing trauma from her past.
Power: Umbrakinetic. She is able manipulate darkness and create constructs from it. relatively good from self-teaching but formally trained heroes could take her.
Kryptonite: Bright lights. depending on watt and how much power she is using a feedback can occur in her and get pretty gnarly.
Bio: Eldest daughter of two upper middle class family, she had a nice childhood until about age 7. She was with them on a ride to some mall. The family got caught in a massive and mostly fatal car wreck. Only reason she lived was a flicker of her powers saved her, and a few others managed to get out. However she fell through the cracks of the social security net. She ended up on the streets, first begging, then stealing, and finally a gangbanger. During this time she awakened her powers, making her a valued commodity in the local underworld as an enforcer. Also during this time she took some other orphaned and homeless kids under her care, and they went a ways in softening her. She was brought in after a sting and offer with the at risk program. At the promise the kids would get good homes she agreed.

Personality: A bit gruff but has a good heart. While he grumpy to most and irratible, he has his redeeming qualities. When he makes a friend he is unquestionably loyal to them, And has his own tough love to those in need of help. Also due to his past has loathing for his father and most things associated with him. However any bad mouthing his family is in for hell.

Overclock: He can push certain parts or even his whole body far beyond it's normal limits. While side effects can be rough, he has reduced it's effects to a certain degree.
Kryptonite:
Overclocking leaves body part under a degree of unresponsiveness, depending on what part and degree of overclock.
Also is far from bullet proof.
Plus Prone to being extremely wreckless
Bio: The bastard son of an affair between a corporate CEO and an unwitting sickly bar tender. The resulting scandal left his mom in an even worse position as the scandal as the bar she worked wanted nothing to do with the scandal so they tossed her. And with twins on the way. She managed with multiple, low paying, jobs but was able raise Zack and his twin sister for a while. However her weak immune system finally gave out. After her death from illness the two ended up imn the bad end of the foster system. Eventually Zack and his sister began saving up to move out doing a variety of jobs, though not all above board. Specifica;lly Zack and street brawling. Thanks to his power, the guy won pretty much most of, if not all by the end, of his battles. One of them caused a drive by, hitting his sister. This caused him to start trying to reform. Thus, with some blackmail to his father about an update on the scandal, got the necissary requirements to enter the academy

Personality: The girl is a bit like the classic sort of hero. Bit of the upbeat and hard worker. She will always try help those when she can. However some of it stems from being pretty insecure as she is relatively green.

Ability to create and shoot bolts or beams much like the sun. However extended use is exhausting on her
Kryptonite: Night or any time where she can't draw upon the sun for a recharge when using her abilities.
Bio: The girl had a relatively normal childhood, though she was the legacy daughter of two rather prominent heroes. She gained her powers when she hit puberty and was soon shipped in to learn. She decided after that to help when she could.

Personality:
The girl's personality does not exactly match her powerset. Meek, kind, gentle, shy, she's pretty much is a wallflower. She is rather girly and known to wear dresses and the like. Also is rather scared of her powers and labs, which is due to how she acquired them. Also while she tries to be patient but her mutation causes her fuse to be shortened.

Radiation based transformation with green skin, wild bright green hair and super strength. Is prone to going to berserk when her anger goes pretty far up.
Kryptonite:
Her phobia an cause enough distress to lose control

Bio:
She was the wallflower of her class. A girl from upper middle class and a girl in a pretty nice private school. She was a bit of a hero geek and was often near the outside perimeter of fights. She never thought that at the end of one of her hero gawking she'd get kidnapped. She was taken to a secret lab and expiremented on, trying to create a super strength minion. It failed with her unleashing hell upon the lab and ran amuck on the town. She was calmed, with an emergency supression collar due to her unstable power. She came to the camp to help learn to control it.

Personality:
A pretty experienced Hero despite his age. Wise, battle seasoned and a very competent leader, meeting on the field, one could see what inspired some other young heroes to form around and make a new team of young heroes. However off the field he is rather laid back and not one to take things too seriously, but a bit of an older brother figure.
Power:
(Energy)
Ability to absorb radiation and project plasma like beams. Can even teleport at times.
Kryptonite:
powers aren't practical for melee
Absorbtionite is able to drain him
Bio:
The guy was one of the few who survived the infamous "Detroit Destruction of 2080" with his sister. His sister was injured pretty bad and taken to the hospital and it was even worse when her power prematurely triggered with ability to absorb diseases and only recently the synthesizing cures kicked in. until them he supported the family with odd jobs. one involved cleaning at a nuclear power plant. He gained his power in a catastrophic meltdown. He self-taught and lucked out, getting involved in a couple of high-stake operations, and leading them to victory.​

It's fine, I do have a rule in place in case anything gets hot and steamy to take it "outside" if you will. so please grab a copy of the CS and make a char.

Dahlia is a fairly calm individual, albeit she is a bit forced to be. If she were to be extremely emotional, the nature around her would begin to reflect it. (Ex.- If she were furious, there may be intense plant growth and the sky may become stormy.) This isn't to say that she is an emotionless robot. Dahlia is quite the optimist, always seeing things through rose-colored glasses. While she may believe things are better than they really are, she will help when asked without fuss. Dahlia is definitely quiet and reserved. Many will just think of her as being shy or maybe constantly upset. She doesn't trust others very easily and worries constantly when it comes to any kind of relationship, may it be romantic or platonic.

Growing up, Dahlia was often on her own. She didn't mind this, although it did get lonely. The girl never really socialized with anyone and became very quiet and shy. This is also why she gets so worried when handling relationships. Her parents were usually working so that they'd be able to provide for their daughter and avoid homelessness, which meant she was left home alone. Of course she did go to school when she was older, but they didn't get home until around 8:00 PM or later. Dahlia enjoyed exploring with her imaginary friend Jane, and they would adventure into the woods and travel to the lake. She never knew of her powers until one particularly upsetting day. It was the day of her father's death. He had died in a car accident on his way home from work early. Once Dahlia heard the news, she fled into the forest crying.


It was June, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. But as the young girl cried her heart out and soon became frustrated and furious, storm clouds gathered and it became windy. Brambles wrapped around trees and covered flowers. As she clenched her fists, plant stems and leaves would curl. Dahlia noticed and decided to test it out. She would raise her hand and wind would blow, thunder boomed as she thought of her father, and it began to rain as she wanted to cry.

Dahlia would go on to figure her powers out more and learned to control her emotions, but she still struggles occasionally. It is best for her to be in an abandoned area of forest when upset or experiencing any high amount of emotion, that way she won't hurt anyone (hopefully) but will be able to get it out.

Hmm....not bad but would say drop weather, unless you want to add it with appropriate Kryptonite. I consider nature to be things like trees, flowers, grass, bushes, etc. and animals to an extent. also what degree can she manipulate nature? Nightmare for example can manipulate darkness as it is, and create temporary objects out of it.

I'll try to figure out more of a kryptonite for weather, but her emotions would effect it a bit (although I suppose she needs more limitations for it, since she is rather calm). There is a slight "communication" between her and plants, like she wouldn't be willing them to do things based on her emotions, it'd just happen.

Yeah, basically she is able to communicate with plant life and manipulate it in whatever way she wants.
