London's depression and social anxiety are deeply tied to her personality. Because of them, she has always been a loner, very reserved and preferring to spend time by herself. Crowds and big groups make her uncomfortable, and social interactions make her anxious. She frequently feels sad, fatigued, and empty inside, but without ever getting much treatment for her disease she has become accustomed to those feelings, and feels lost without them.

She is very creative and artistic, and is only able to express her emotions through music or painting or sculpture. When she tries to speak about how she feels, she gets tongue-tied, and can't find the words to describe it. But if you asked her to play how she felt, she could do it in a heartbeat.

Though it is hard for her to build relationships, when she does she loves deeply and feels fully for that person. Leaving her mother was the hardest thing she ever did. She has a generous and caring heart, and is so used to being sad herself that she is completely selfless with her feelings. Her own pain never matters, only the person she loves.

London is a bit confused about the war, though. She doesn't fully understand what side is "good" or "bad" – partly because she doesn't really understand those concepts in general. She's both a dreamer and pessimistic, so she is constantly torn between imagining what could be and seeing all the possible problems that probably will be.

London was raised by a single mom on the fringes of Chicago. Her dad had never been in the picture – she had tried to ask her mom about him a few times, but she always brushed her questions aside, saying she was too young to understand. Her mom worked two jobs, as a waitress and a store clerk, just so they could get food on the table. London worked, too, as soon as she was old enough, taking a job after school at a record shop. That was probably not the best choice, since who buys records anymore? But London loves music, so she could not resist the temptation to be able to listen to it on the job. Anyway, her pay came in regularly no matter how red the account books were. The owner was a good sort, a retired guitar player from a little-known 80s rock band. He was one of the few people who seemed to understand London, plus he shared her taste in music.

London wasn't exactly shy, but she loathed big crowds, and social interaction made her anxious. She had gone through most of life without many friends, always being looked at with suspicious glances by the popular kids, branded a loner and a freak. She didn't really mind. She had music, and that was the only friend she needed.

London started playing the cello when she was 10, and, as her mom says, never put the bow down since that day. Something about the sound of the instrument was hauntingly beautiful, speaking to her sadness and loneliness in a way nothing else ever could. It was as if the music spoke the words of her soul, the words she herself could not find to say.

Even her mother never understood London's need for solitude and quiet. She loved her daughter with all her heart, but she had to admit she was a strange bird. Never happy but when she was playing the cello or listening to music. Never wanting to socialize or go out with friends. Sometimes the girl would go days without saying a word.

By her early teens, her mother grew so worried that she took London to see a doctor. It had taken months of scraping and scrounging and saving to afford that one visit, but she had to know if something was wrong with her daughter. The psychiatrist said that London suffered from depression, odd in one so young, but not unheard of. He prescribed expensive antidepressants, and sent them on their way. They couldn't afford the drugs for long, though. London was fine with that – she didn't mind the darkness at all. It was her old friend. Her only friend. She was used to it, and she didn't like the loose, detached feeling she got on the pills. She preferred the comfortable blanket of sadness that she wrapped around herself night after night. Who did it hurt if she was always alone? No one but her, and she didn't care at all.

The dream came to her when she was 16. All she remembered the next morning was a lingering feeling that she had had a strange dream, and a distinct sensation of fear… She didn't find Berkeley until a couple years later, and made her way there, leaving a tearful note of goodbye for her mother. She knew life would be easier for her mother without her to take care of and pay for. She just hoped the pain of leaving would lessen soon.

[BCOLOR=#ffffff]Freedom Princess Grey was first born to Megan and Joshua Grey in Sydney, Australia. She has a younger sister, Fawn, who is 15 and a younger brother, Frankie, who is 13. Free and her siblings had a very easy and happy upbringing. With their father being a famous plastic surgeon and their mother the number one attorney at her law firm, they had a tremendous amount of money. Freedom of course used this to her advantage. Always making sure she had the cutest clothes and kept herself in check, but this wasn't until after her 6th grade year.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#ffffff]From the time she was in 3rd grade, Freedom had been bullied most of the time. She was bullied for being "too smart", not doing enough socially and not really caring about they way she looked. After years of abuse from her peers, Freedom decided to make a change in her life. She started to mature a bit more socially and she used the money her family had to develop skills in make up and fashion. Her favorite thing to do (and still is now) is shop. Free went from being a sweet, shy girl who was bullied, to this huge social butterfly! This social butterfly status did not come easily however. She spent countless therapy sessions improving her self-esteem and overtime developed a "carless" and bitchy attitude. On top of that, her parents had gotten a divorce and soon after her father quickly married to Caroline Baker, and she had a new mom, and step siblings. One being Alex. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#ffffff]Being the social butterfly she was, Freedom was pretty well-liked by the boys in her class and just people in general. When she was 16, a sophomore in high school, she got her very first boyfriend. Being the hopeless romantic she was, fell in love with him almost instantly. One night, the two were at a party and he prompted her to have sex. She really wasn't ready, but he pulled the "if you love me you'd do it" and she gave in. Shortly after, Free found out she was pregnant. She wanted to keep the baby and told her boyfriend, however, he didn't want to deal with the responsibilities of being a father and the two broke up. Freedom was astounded by their break up because she thought that he truly loved her, leading to her trust issues. Free planned to keep her child, but about 4 months into her pregnancy, she miscarried. She blamed herself for the loss of her child and constantly puts herself down about it, although there wasn't much she could do about it. The miscarriage also played a role of turning her into a cold, distant bitch. Throw that on top of trust issues and insecurities and you get a huge sundae of Freedom.[/BCOLOR]

This allows her to make the wind blow and cause an earthquake, if her power is enough, and the cloud manipulation allows her to darken the skies and make it gloomy. The air also allows her to be lifted up and basically fly, but it stopps and she would drop when she stops controlling the wind. [/spoili]

Limitations
[spoili]Some limitations to Mia's ability is that she does not have control on her abilities fully, so when she is angry, the clouds often make it gloomy and dark, and if she is happy the wind can begin to pick up. She also doesn't have control over the rain, so she can make the clouds dark and make it seem like there is a storm coming, but she can't actually make it storm or rain. She also cannot change the actual weather. If it is someone else's ability causing it to rain or storm, she can change it but if it is the actual weather, she has no control over it. [/spoili]

A limitation is that she cannot know for sure who the feelings are for. For example, she can tell if someone has a strong emotional connection and loves someone, but she cannot know who the person is that they love. She only has to look into someone's eyes to search their soul, but she has trouble sarching souls of the people close to her because it causes her pain to see and feel their pain. Summer-Raye has the power to control the luminous radiation (spiritual energy) that surrounds a person or an object and use it in different ways. The Auras are connected to one's emotions, intelligence and connection to their spirit and the power needs concentration and emotional control for it to work effectively.

The Seven Different Auras (Or Chakras)
Muladhara (Red) - Deals with physical nature.
Swadhisthana (Orange) - Deals with emotion.
Manipura (Yellow) - Deals with self-energy and willpower.
Anahata (Green) - Deals with healing.
Vishuddha (Blue) - Deals with intelligence.
Anja (Indigo) - Deals with mental communication.
Sahasrara (Violet) - Deals with awareness of illusions and obtaining a higher consciousness.

The Flaws
Summer-Raye has yet to unlock fully more than one Chakra and the one she has unlocked is, Muladhara the one that deals with physical nature. She has some control over it, being able to enhance her strength, speed, dexterity and other physical functioning aspects. She can channel her aura and use it to make her hits harder, heighten her senses and increase her speed to superhuman levels (think Flash). She hasn't unlocked any of the other chakras just yet but she has been able to connect to Swadhisthana a couple of times when she embraces her own emotions but that is as far as she has gotten for right now.

When she does unlock all the auras, Summer-Raye will only be able to use one at a time. Meaning, she can use Vishuddha but she can't use Sahasrara at the same time to increase her mental power and awareness.

Summer-Raye can only manipulate her own Aura and no one else's for right now. She can't effect anyone else's aura with her power and she can't steal someone's aura with her power if she wanted to. Her ability is at beginner level and Aura Absorption and Switching is a master level skill that she will need years of training to learn.

Her ability needs total concentration and clearly of the mind to work. If her mind is somewhere else at the time, her ability will go haywire until she focuses on the task in front of her and her meditation has been helping with that as well.

❉HISTORY❉

Summer-Raye's parents were part of a Hippie Cult Commune when she was born. Her life at first was as normal as it could be with people around her wearing flowers in their hair and sometimes not have anything else on but the flower(s). Summer-Raye saw her life as normal but she would learn later that her parents raised her in a devilish place and she would never forgive them for it. Her parents were very close to the Leader of the Cult and he was considered to be Summer-Raye's uncle, that's how close her parents were to her attacker. When she turned around fourteen was when she started to become a woman, or how the people in the cult said, her beautiful flower was starting to bloom. Her "Uncle" noticed it as well and started to request that she would come to the meetings with her parents that were usually on for the adults but he said he saw something special in her. Around the time of her sixteen birthday was when her "Uncle" brainwashed her idiots parents into letting him sleepover their home for the night because of some crazy ritual that was suppose to happen on a girl's sixteen birthday that would keep her safe for life... which was very ironic and said with what happened that night.

When Summer-Raye told her parents about the incident, they didn't even try to listen to her only telling her that The Leader of the Cult did what he did to protect her and keep her pure, she lost it and started balling her eyes out but at that time she was secretly dating a boy who's parents were part of the Cult as well. When she told him about it, he grew angry and went to The Leader's home in the dead of night and beat the man up with a metal bat and a huge rock, breaking his face in four places. After that, his entire family was excommunicated and banned from ever contacting anyone in the cult for anything.

A wees later after The Leader's injuries healed the whole Cult was discovered by cops and all the dirty deals The Leader had made were discovered thanks to an unknown source on the inside. No one knows to this day who told the cops everything and how they got the information to the cops in the first place but everything seemed to get better for Summer-Raye. The DCF seeing her parents as unfit brought them to court and had their custody taken away.

Her aunt and real uncle adopted her soon after being contacted by the department of children and families.

Now eighteen and trying to forget everything that happened to her, Summer-Raye as another problem that she will have to deal with. A few weeks ago something happened to her in her sleep and she woke up with some crazy power that will always remind her of her Hippie Parents and that man but it might also give her the strength to overcome her pain, she will just to work on her emotional walls and learn to connect to her mind, body and soul as one if she wants to feel better about herself.
