((DO finish whatever you were doing if the time skip is at an abrupt time for you))

In the end of the day, which was eight o clock for the facility, everybody was told over intercom to return to their dorms and stay inside of there, else there would be trouble, an announcement that was special to the new comers, but ordinary to ones who were not new played afterwards. Stating that after breakfast tommorrow all newcomers must come to the back of the facility, the only place where they would glimpse at the outside world. They were reminded that attempts at escape were to be forgotten.

Katelyn was having trouble sleeping, personally. She just stared at the ceiling for most of the time, her sleeping outfit consisting of a shirt with a panda bear on it and black short shorts. All the tossing and turning she did was for naught, and she was forced to just lay there and pretend to sleep, in hopes that all the pretending would bring reality to it. And in a way it did, subconsciously her power filled the gap, and she ended up feeling like she did sleep, until the real sleep did actually fall over her.

An alarm in the room woke her up, her eyes very slowly fluttering open. Getting up into a sitting position, her hair was a mess and bags under her eyes showed how much "real" sleep she got. A yawn escaped her loudly, as an announcement for all inmates to get up and go to the cafeteria was played.

She didn't bother to beckon Matthew on, she wasn't in the mood for it, nor was she in the mood to get ready. She just got up, put on some matching Panda bear slippers and went out her door, hardly waiting for her roommate as she began to move to the Cafeteria, like a zombie. The selection when she got there threw her off, it was massive, some of the foods on the menu she had not even heard of, but she just got some pancakes, with little melted chocolate chips wedged in it. Accompanied by syrup and coffee with three spoon fulls of sugar in it. Just the vision of health, wasn't it?

Later she sat down by herself, watching as all the other people started to get their food, a lot of them much more dressed then her.

Nicolas had woken up early like he would normally do each day. However this time he was unsure what to do, usually he would train with the man who raised him. But that man was no longer here. Nic sat for a while doing nothing, eventually he decided to do a bit of exercise. It helped that the dorm was pretty empty.

After a while he heard a voice speak through some speakers, telling everyone that breakfast was ready. Nicolas got changed, and grabbed his tags before leaving the room. Once he reached the cafeteria he found that he was the second person to get there. Nic looked at the girl, then over at the food. The wide selection interested him as he grabbed a tray. He then proceed to pile the tray, taking a bowl or porridge and another of cereal. He filled a plat with bread topped with ham, as well as scrabbled eggs. He topped it of with a mug of black coffee. He brought the very full tray and sat down on the table nearish to the girl. He quickly began to devour his food, like he hadn't eaten in a long time.

There was denying that Siobhan's accent was difficult to understand at first, but the more she talked the more Kyler understood. It would just take time for him to completely get used to it. He nodded when she told him her name, and then again when she explained that it was unsettling to hear the thoughts of others. That made sense, but he still thought her ability was more neat than his. What use was moving a few rocks to anyone?

After that Kyler led Siobhan to the booth where they picked up the furniture form, and then showed her to their dorm. It had a decent sized front room, which they picked out a couch, a television, and a coffee table for. They also picked out a rug and some plants for the room, to make it feel more homey. Picking wall decorations took longer than Kyler expected it would, but after several short arguments the two finally settled on a few paintings and a fancy clock.

Kyler then showed Siobhan the bathroom, which was already set up, and then to their bedroom. It had been awkward explaining how they'd be sharing the same bedroom, but Kyler swore he would always change in the bathroom and restrain from messing with her stuff. They also agreed that they would each get half of the room for themselves, which they could decorate any way they pleased. Kyler filled out what he wanted for his half, and then handed Siobhan the form to do the same.

At the moment the only thing inside the bedroom was Kyler's bed and a few blankets, and after another short argument of him insisting she take his bed for the night Kyler curled up on the ground with the blanket, leaving her to decide to do the same or sleep in his bed. He fell asleep to the facility announcement, already used to the monotone voice reminding them that trying to escape was futile.

It was the same monotone voice that woke Kyler the next morning. He sat up and rubbed the sleep from is eyes with a yawn, trying to ignore the obnoxious pain in his back that was the result of sleeping on the floor. Kyler got up off the floor and shuffled over to the closet, where he picked out a new pair of basketball shorts and a plain tank top before stumbling into the bathroom to change.

Only eight minutes later Kyler emerged, fully dressed and teeth brushed. He had also taken the time to fix his bedhead. As he slipped on his sneakers he called out to his roommate, "Hey, Siobhan, I'm heading of to breakfast. Want me to wait up so I can show you the way?" In his hand was the furniture form, he planned to turn it in on his way to the cafeteria.

Sleep.

It was pretty easy for Matthew to sleep, basically anywhere could be his bed, the floor, the concrete ground outside, even a bed of nails couldn't stop this beast from sleeping. Matthew was spread across his whole bed, only wearing a black tank top, and his boxers, not even caring that there was a girl in the room, he wasn't even under the covers. And once the alarm from the warden went off, he just groaned "I... I don't wanna go..." he mumbled, only to hear Kate walk out the door. He rose up and got into a sitting position on the edge of the bed, he rubbed his eyes and grabbed his pants, and his boots, and threw them on. His outfit now consisted of his necklace, collar, a black tank top, his dark jeans and his combat boots. Matt had a nice figure for the relaxed person he was, he had a small six pack, and some nice biceps, but he wasn't beefy.

He made his way to the cafeteria, a nice slow relaxing walk. Once there he grabbed a tray, got in line, and grabbed a excess amount of scrambled eggs and bacon, with some English muffins on the side, buttered of course, and lastly, a glass of orange juice. He took all this and sat solemnly at a table, and began to devour his food, showing it no mercy.

Siobhan woke up to Kyler stretching and shuffling to the closet then off to the bathroom. Blessedly the night was free of dreams from others for once. She had taken the bed since Kyler insisted since she didn't have one yet. She dug through the pitiful lack of clothing she had and grabbed a pair of clean black yoga pants and a white tank top and covered her underwear. She wanted to change but only after she showered and she so wasn't wearing anything that was dirty.

Only eight minutes later Kyler emerged, fully dressed and teeth brushed. He had also taken the time to fix his bedhead. As he slipped on his sneakers he called out to her, "Hey, Siobhan, I'm heading of to breakfast. Want me to wait up so I can show you the way?" In his hand was the furniture form, he planned to turn it in on his way to the cafeteria.

"Och bu' o course. I've no' a mind ta get los' in this place. I'll show'r an be out in a jiff." Fifteen minutes later she was dressed and her hair was still wet but not dripping and hanging down her back more waves than curls and more off her face than yesterday. She smiled at Kyler and walked over to her bag digging through it and finding her soft sole dance shoes and slipped them on then grabbing her stack of forms she grinned and said, "Righ' laddie lead on."

After the alert for breakfast, Astra had moved around in a dazed fashion, following a generic routine and not paying any attention to what was going on around her. When ready, she left the dorm without even acknowledging her roommate's existence, let alone waiting to see if he was awake yet. She walked in a mechanical style, feeling that anything else would have been inappropriate in the otherwise silent monotony. Being in the middle of a desert, the sun was already high in the sky and the air temperature was beginning to become annoying, and yet she felt more like she was walking through a thick fog.

This all changed when the fire nation attacked when she almost literally ran into a certain person at the door to the lunchen room. As one might expect (because no one else was currently outside the door to the cafeteria so I only have 2 other characters that could be), this person was the one she had managed to learn to distrust in only a minute long encounter. "Yo, notepad girl. Wanna have breakfast together?" Fortress's question was met by a neutral "Sure, why not", and the two entered the room.

The queue for food wasn't particularly long, but there was a few minutes of waiting and Astra used this time to scan the faces of those already having breakfast. Most of them were rather nondescript and all of them wore an expression of melancholy or similar negative emotion. She saw several people who she had met yesterday, but didn't really feel any desire to alert them of her presence. Nor could she even do so without the ability to make noise. A couple of faces stood out to her, though. There were some children there as young as 8, and some people so wrinkly that the wrinkles had decayed the muscles in their legs and they were pushing themselves around in wheelchairs. As someone who considered the elderly and the young as simple background characters to fill emptiness, this was a very odd sight to her. She hadn't ever considered they might also be able to develop abilities.

Kyle woke up after hearing foot steps outside his door. Then there was silence followed by a loud knocking. "KAOS IS IN THERE... BE CAREFUL!" Kyle blinked and then noticed he was standing in the middle of the room. He looked at his hands which were died red. he looked around and saw his roomate holding a notebook under some sheets. He walked over to her and pulled the sheets back. the notebook dropped on the ground and read help in red blood. The knocking on the door became banging. "I'm not Kaos," he repeated over and over as he brought his hands to his face. However he did not have hands but a drill and a chain saw which was whining. Then he turned to the door which a group of people kicked down. It was a mob and they wanted Kaos dead. Kyle closed his eyes and then everything went silence. When he opened them, the body of other humans surrounded him, covered in blood and guts. Tears ran down his face and he wanted to scream but instead a cold cynical laugh left his mouth. This was the laugh of Kaos.

Kyle woke up in his bed again. This time the room only had him in it. His roomate seemed to have left without leaving a note. The foot steps out side seemed to be that of other inmates going to the same place.

Kyle looked at his hands which were normal. At least he had control of his powers for now. With that little bit of relief he got dress and followed the masses to chow.

His stomach roared and Kyle could only assume he was transforming his sleep. It would not be the first time as he has woken up after a dream in the middle of what seemed to be a war zone. He grabbed his tray which had some cereal, a orange, red juice, milk, toast, and a 2 hard boil eggs. He sigh as his power used up a lot of energy to control so he probably looked like a pig to everyone else. He found a empty table and sat there.

He did not want to eat as the vivid pictures of the dream were stamped on his head. As he took a spoon full of cereal, the only thing in his head was how long he had before he became Kaos.

Nicolas watched as more and more people began to fill the room. Some of the people entering now he had seen briefly yesterday, not that he remembered their names. He had just finished his tray of food and so decided to get some more, he was still rather hungry. Nicolas got out of his chair and walked to the serving area for the food. He quickly pushed in front of two girls who seemed to have come in at the same time. Sliding his try up to the food he began to place a few more bits onto it. He seemed to ignore the fact that he had pushed in front.

As Kyler led Siobhan to drop off their form then to the cafeteria they were silent but comfortably so both enjoying the quiet and for Siobhan at least enjoying the company. As they approached the cafeteria a wave of fear and discontent that came from the room stopped her in her tracks. Siobhan looked over at Kyler and stepped closer to him hoping that she could pick up some more positive emotions from him to crowd out the negative ones.

After completely eating all of the food that was set on his tray, he began to clean his mouth with the napkins he grabbed. While doing this he looked up to see Siobhan, along with another male. causing him to stand up and call out "Siobhan! over here!" shouting just loud enough to be heard over the sound of the cafe in hopes to grab her attention so she and her friend can sit at his table.

"I think we need to start looking for help," Quinn started. "We're pretty limited in what we can improve on our own."

Plates almost entirely obscured by pancakes, waffles, eggs and sausages, the twins ate their breakfast in relative solitude. They were still somewhat separated from the rest of the inmates, but hopefully some in the new batch wouldn't be turned off by the LeBlancs' duality.

"So we need a training partner?"

"Aside from analysis and preventing deterioration like over the last week, battering each other doesn't serve much use."

"Should we wait for the new guys to settle in? Or does someone with relevant abilities not hate us?"

"What about the geokinetic? He didn't seem like a bad guy; plus, he only got here the day before us. He might be looking for a partner, too."

"He's really fit, though," Reine noted. She almost sounded intimidated. "He looks like he'd take his shirt off whenever he got the chance."

"There was that kid who turned his blood into a bullet yesterday. He looks about our age, an' maybe he wants to show off. He probably can't keep up with you, but it's worth a shot."

Somewhere between the scrambled eggs and sausage their conversation devolved into idle gossip. They went from an interest in all of the different powers and finding out about them to making bets about who would try to break out. By the time they finished their morning meal, the cafeteria was nearly packed, with chatter from the older inmates and some discomfort from the most recent arrivals.

"Check this." One, a telekinetic in his early twenties, felt it necessary to break the ice with all of the newcomers. Something to get them out of the horror of never leaving this place. Compressing cereal, pancakes, syrup and whipped cream into a sticky ball, he fired it off into the distance—the target an unfortunate newbie who stood to call out to his friend across the cafeteria. Inmates at nearby tables quickly added to the commotion. "Food fight!"

Siobhan heard Matthew call out and peeked around Kyler to see him standing and grinning like a fool. She smiled back and grabbing Kyler's hand she pulled them over to sit with Matthew. "Och Matthew meet me room-mate. Kyler. Kyler, Matthew. Me firs' friend in a good lon' w'ile. An' since yes'erday me savior." She grinned proudly as she introduced the boys. <Thanks to the powers that be that Matthew was a well of positivity. And they're both rather bonnie and sometimes a girl just wants some bonnie boys around to look at...Ugh...I did it again.> She looked from Kyler to Matthew and Matthew was the one looking at her oddly this time. She flushed bright red knowing full well that Matthew got that full thought bubble before she burst it and threw up mental blocks. She cleared her throat and didn't meet Matthew's eyes as she mumbled something about being quite peck-ish and went to get food. She grabbed some fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, hash browns and some apple juice. Sitting back down at the table she dug into the food.

Siobhan: "Och bu' o course. I've no' a mind ta get los' in this place. I'll show'r an be out in a jiff."

Patiently, Kyler waited by the door for her to shower and finish getting ready. It wasn't long before the red-haired female joined him, telling him to lead the way. Kyler couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face from her calling him 'Laddie.' He'd never heard anyone actually say that out loud before.

As instructed, Kyler led Siobhan first to the booth where they dropped off their furniture form, and then to the cafeteria. He thought back to his first morning here, and how he had gotten lost on his way to breakfast. At first the facility was confusing, but once he understood the basic layout he knew pretty much how to get anywhere.

The two didn't talk at all as they walked, but it didn't feel awkward. At least not for Kyler, it was a comfortable silence. As they neared the cafeteria Siobhan suddenly stopped, and Kyler turned to look at her. His face was twisted in confusion as he gazed down at her, wondering what was wrong. He looked back to the cafeteria briefly, and then thought back to the previous day. She hadn't talked much until the two were alone in their room, but then again she could have been speaking in the minds of everyone else.

Is she shy? Kyler wouldn't be surprised, truthfully. The young male offered a kind smile, holding out his hand to her. He opened his mouth to tell her that the cafeteria wasn't as hectic as it appeared to be on the outside, but he was distracted by a male voice calling out to his female companion:

Matthew: "Siobhan! over here!"

Kyler turned, his eyes landing on a familiar face. It was the boy who had caused the artificial rainfall the day before. Kyler raised an eyebrow. How does he know her? He wondered, I didn't see them interact at all yesterday... Perhaps they know each other from before they came here? Or maybe they just spoke on the ride out here?

Suddenly, Siohban was dragging Kyler over to her friend by the hand. This took him by surprise, mostly because less than twenty-four hours prior he was fairly sure she didn't like him. He nodded to the other male as she introduced the them to each other. If she hadn't called Matthew 'Me firs' friend in a good lon' w'ile' Kyler probably would have held a grudge about getting soaking wet the day before. But, if she really liked the guy so much he couldn't be all that bad... right? So, instead of commenting about getting everyone wet, Kyler simply said, "Nice to meet you."

He then followed Siohban to get some food: A bowl of peanut butter oatmeal, a raspberry smoothie, two slices of whole wheat toast, and a handful of blueberries. One good thing about the facility was that they never failed to satisfy when it came to the food. Siobhan and Kyler rejoined Matthew at his table. Just as Kyler lifted his raspberry smoothie to his lips someone in the cafeteria shouted:

"Food Fight!"

Matthew smiled warmly "nice to meet you as well kyler" he said politely, then he got the telepathic message from Siobhan, causing him have a stunned facial expression, bonny? was that what she thought of him? flattering it was for Matthew. And before he could say anything she walked off to get some food, Leaving him to his thoughts. That whole situation brought Matthew to think about his past love life, well.... it wasn't love. But lets just say the thought made him smile slightly, even though he's tried to change his lifestyle to stay away from all of that.

When Siobhan came back he was about to say something before out of the corner of his eye he saw a ball of some sort coming straight at him, he moved his head back, and it only grazed his cheek, the sticky mess splattered along the wall behind him, and he wiped off what was on his cheek "what the fuck...?" was all he said before someone in the crowed yelled food fight. Then things went to hell, people began to throw food left and right, Matt ran over to another empty table flipped it onto its side to protect him from the food, he peaked over and called out "SIOBHAN, KYLER BRING YOUR FOOD WE NEED TO DEFEND OURSELVES, ITS LIKE NAM ALL OVER AGAIN!" he shouted before taking cover yet again.

"A food fight? Been too long since we had one of these. Good call, Frank!" Fortress was addressing the previously nameless telekinetic, when the old man from upstairs tottered in carrying a large machine that looked rather like a printer. He set it down on the counter next to Fortress and plugged it in. "I knew I'd find a use for a food replicator that can't replicate taste one day!" His voice was quite frail but it didn't lack energy. "Steve, you're awesome. Alright notepad girl, if we want to win this fight we're going to need a good supply of ammunition. Your job is to throw food into the air infront of me." Astra hesitated, but did as she was told when she had to narrowly escape a wayward sausage. As the threw two incredibly delicious-looking french breads, she realised why. Fortress was stood with her arms crossed, firing out foods with enough velocity for them the softer items to squish on impact, while returning fire simply stopped and fell to the ground before reaching her. Astra only hoped that she couldn't do the same when it came to actual weapons, or her claim the evening before would have been completely justified.

Kyle was eating his cereal in peace when someone screamed "FOOD FIGHT" Suddenly food started flying everywhere. Kyle tried to pay it no mind and finish his cereal. He picked up another spoon full when an increadibly delicious-looking french bread flew pass his face knocking the spoon out of hand. He froze unable to decide how he wanted to feel. Then another french bread of delicious looking fell on his try knocking the cereal in the air and spilling it all over his head. Kyle started growling as his breakfast was ruined. He turn in the direction the 2 loafs of bread flew from and saw Fortress, some old man, and his roommate in a formation. Kyle's eyes turned red. For the next minute he would turn over to Kaos.

(Kaos is not a personality but a mindset which lacks self control)

suddenly his hand turned into a ball with a giant mouth. A tank formed on his back with a tube which connected to the ball. on his other hand looked to be a cannon. he walked into the fray letting his giant ball hand swallow the flying food. He however this was not his only trick. Tube formed around his waist which connected to a smaller cannon on top of his cannon. Kaos noticed a bunch of bowls of cereal on a empty table. Kaos Used his ball hand to swallow all the cereal which filled up his tube. Now with plenty of ammo he was ready to take on the Fortress. Another inmate jumped in front of Kaos ready to throw something in his face but Kaos quicky blasted him across the room with a plate of flapjacks.

He got behind the 3 and blasted the old man with a serving of eggs and followed it with a pie fired at a high velocity. Then he fired a stream of milk out of the small cannon at Fortress. He followed the attack with a killer joke.
"GOT MILK"

Nicolas sighed as the children began to throw food around at each other. Since the boy had been surrounded by adults for his life he never really found intrested in childish things. The only time he would act like a kid was when he was fighting.

The boy sighed as he picked up an orange and a carten of milk. He then made his way for the door, he dodged any food that came his way. He shoved one kid out the way to get through the door then made his way to his dorm room. Nic finished his milk and threw it in a bin. Nicolas began to wonder when his room mate was going to show up, as he walked to his room.

Fortress glared at the child before her. It was firing a jet of milk at her which was hitting part of her shield and dribbling harmlessly to the floor. "Oi, kid. Don't attack old men. Do you have no respect?"

Siobhan left what was left of breakfast and grabbing Kyler's hand dragged him quickly over to the table Matthew was behind. She slipped on something and landed on top of Matthew her face buried in the crook of his neck and shoulder. On top of that she ended up tripping Kyler as well. It looked like dog-pile on Matthew day apparently. From the outside looking in it was hysterical but she was absolutely humiliated. <Matthew I am soooooo sorry!!!!>

Kaos looked confused as the milk dripped off the shield. The the girl scold him for hitting the old man. Kaos's ball hand hiccup a pie and returned to a normal hand. He caught the pie but did not smile. His red eyes looked at her, "Respect..." "How about the respect of having a quiet breakfast."

Then he threw the pie at her without much force.
