Steven wasn't sure what there was to say before he agreed to what was about to happen now. Perhaps this trip wouldn't be so bad after all.
" I got that you were joking, and I know that we are both failed experiments, I don't need the reminder, Cameron," he said, as he was trying to cheer him up, but he wasn't quite feeling it right now, if it was any other time, quite possibly too.
Steven sat in the passenger seat in the car and tried not to get too annoyed by the music. There were some things that still gave him headaches.
He wasn't about to correct him and say that he was right, since he wasn't quite ready to admit that to himself. There was still a part of him that believed it might be possible too.
Steven watched as they passed many things and they passed at least seven of the bars that he couldn't go into, due to many different reasons that he wouldn't care to admit and stared at the club.
Steven tried to not say a word, as he knew that neither of them had brought their wallets.
He was once again quiet as he knew what angle they were playing and that was going to annoy him to some degree.
That was still something that amazed him, no matter how much he was reminded he was not the man, the beard didn't throw people off nor did the fact he was wearing sunglasses or common clothes.
Steven had a feeling that he whispered that he was here with Captain America or to charge it to the Avenger account, or something close to that effect. He could believe that a whole lot too.
He had to remember what his limit had been before he had the experiment. He believed that the number was three or so and he was on his seventh or so drink of the night when the four woman came to go and grab him from the seat and that was true.
The beautiful woman dragged him the dance floor and he needed to think of something fast before this got too out of hand and that was saying something. It was already getting quite out of hand, but he needed to get out of their and fast and he only had one lame excuse that may work on them.
" I really hate to leave, but I just got to go to the bathroom right now," he said, trying to remain calm.
He was allowed to pass and he rushed into the restroom to calm his nerves from everything that was happening. He splashed some water on his face.
His glasses slide off his face and thudded on the floor and a well dressed man in a suit handed them back to him and he looked at him and gulped when he saw the answer.
It was a person who he most definitely trained under Hydra and maybe he was going to get lucky and he wasn't going to recognize who he was. Who he was kidding?
" It's my lucky day to find you, Golden Eyes," he said to him.
" Yeah, lucky me, " He sarcastically replied, as he knew that he was going to be getting into a fight anyway.
The guys grabbed cam to take him out back and beat him but he punched the one on his right clear across the room knocking him out and as the second cocked his gun Cam grabbed it crushing it like a toy while the enforcer looked in shock cam slammed his head on the table knocking him out.
Steven watched as he went to punch him and he blocked his fist with his hand and realized that he had to not attract attention, which meant that he couldn't leave the guy dead like he wanted him to be. He did a gentle punch and the guy was knocked unconscious and that was going to be great for now.
" Don't panic, Steven, that was only one agent who remembered who you were. No need to panic," he added.
He wasn't sure what to say to make himself calm, but staying here would be bad for his health, but he couldn't go back outside to deal with all the girls who would fawn over him.
He looked over at the knocked out man and he decided to figure out if it was just a fluke, this obviously rookie Hyrda agent had found him. He found the answer when he removed a picture from his pocket that showed the difference between him and Captain America.
He was standing over the body when Tombstone walked in and he groaned. He had to find a way to get revenge on Cameron when he got back home. He would have to add that to his notebook, since this didn't seem like an accident and then he realized something, there was no way to figure out how to get out of there either.
Before he could react, Tombstone threw a punch. Great, a man made of granite, how the fuck was he supposed to deal with this?
Perhaps now was one of those moments where his genius intellect might kick in and he thought about what he remembered about granite as he dodged the attack, each one barely missing.
Granite, rocks, there had to be something that he could use in this bathroom. Water, well, flooding wasn't his style but if it worked, who he was to doubt it.
Steven wasn't no water manipulator, so he needed something to work and as he ducked, he kneed him into the sink and well, he broke the wall and he wasn't sure what happened next, as he didn't come back.
The papers tomorrow chronicled another fight between Spiderman and Tombstone after he fell through the wall.
He turned to the knocked out Hydra agent who knew way too much about him, perhaps a trip to Tathi might do the man some wonders.
Still, he needed a way to move the body.
