Believe me, this one is applied almost everywhere by everyone who knows, or heard about it. No matter whether it is applicable or not. It is ridiculous how often people pull this one out. Though, it is like @DarkiusHeavenstein says, fairly easy to proof. Though that also makes it easy to shovel it down.

@DarkiusHeavenstein; are you a licensed lawyer, or just a legal advisor who happened to be asked? I'm interested to see how this case works out, mainly as a jurist in training myself xD

Though in this case I think that the opposing party had done better by gambling their chances on OD instead of on 'manhandling'. XD Just a quick first thought I get when reading your story. Though, of course I can't make any real judgement without knowing everything.

Yes, it is more an 'when all else fails' kind of thing. You use an OD to get money from someone (this can't bring a sentence in jail or something).

Like I have a laptop and I give it to my friend. She returns it and I see the screen or something is scratches. I can than charge her with an OD to get a payment for any costs I make to repair my laptop. In this example my friend violated my owners right of the laptop and I was harmed, because I now have to pay money to fix it.

Yeah. I believe they would make a good team. And looking over Iris again, I sped read everyone's profiles and didn't want to confuse her, I think their personalities clash--hard. That being said, no one's personality is going to jive with the Rook. The fact that she can relieve the pain is good enough for him to view her as a friend--something.

I haven't thought about that actually. It really depends on what type of pain receptors you're specifically referring to. If its physical pain Fay can only tell if you think out loud that it hurts but if it's psychological pain then yea it'll tazor tag the hell out of his overly sensitive psyche.

(and even then the chances are pretty slim, because, bachelors.) Though I guess each college can do it differently and places are different. I'm jealous.

I adore international law, so there you have it. Heard that lots of people hate it, but I adore the competitiveness in it and how it develops. I also love how it connects, but also remains defined in the world.

That's interesting. I heard some cool stories from seniors who had interships in courts, and even embassies overseas. All really interesting experiences (not to mention the pay, that is definitely a plus). Though most stories I hear from students and law firms aren't all that nice, I guess they just went to look for the wrong places.
