- Fantasy (high, low and anything in between), modern, medieval, anything that'll keep me at the edge of my seat. Romance is absolutely necessary. And fluff. Just a lil bit.
June turned to her comrade, suddenly very confused as she read his lips. Sorry. Sorry? Sorry for what? Was there something she had missed? Why did he look like he was going to cry? Wh- June's eyes widened. She thought back to what he had told her yesterday. They were being dragged to their death, weren't they? June made a couple last ditch attempts. Thrashing, kicking, elbowing, whatever she was physically capable of. Fucking hell. She was not dying today. Not without a fight.
"What? The next right? Scully, there is no fucking right-- Jesus fuck, this girl will not give it up. Hey, hey! Can I knock her out?" The man hushed, whispering furiously into his headset. June, for obvious reasons, did not stop writhing and struggling under his grip.
"Oi. Pierre. Quite crying--your future girlfriend is right next to you." The woman who was holding June's comrade murmured into his ear, grinning. She turned to June and tapped her shoulder, tipping her tinted sunglasses down with a wink. It took her a moment, but June recognized her as the woman from last night.
Was this a rescue? Was she on their side? What about the man who held her back? Was he on their side too?
