That's up to you, but it has to be logical, because remember, when something comes from the Other-Realms it has have a path to come to Narif, and then must have a stable source of Magik from the Caster. Maybe Taint could have been made by a Demon from the Demon Other-Realm, someone had summoned a strong one and pissed it off so it 'Tainted' him, and in turn he 'Tainted' others.

Also, keep in mind, if your really planning on it becoming a type of Evil Magic, than remember that Maski can use it and manipulate it as well.

I meant it as a form of evil magik, the energy. It is a different type and not necessarily used to be harnessed, but I guess he could control it yea.

And I rethought, I kinda want it that no-one really knew the exact origins of the Taint. Oh yea, and in my Race's history, it includes that the first ultra powerful Mage trapped all the taint alive then into his soul. Maybe that soul ended up being the black orb, which could hop across time and such

well, how would that mage then become a Minor god that rules over all things evil?

And now because of what you said about the taint being like the Evil Equivalent of Magik, than yea that makes much more sense, Marski would still be able to manipulate and use it, which in turn gives him control over tainted creatures and people, but Marski doesn't know about that yet, just that the Taint is a thing that exists, so i don't think he'll be using it anytime soon since he doesn't even know that he can control, nor will he possibly ever use it, just that those with Taint never really bothered him unless he bothered them first.

First part, no idea xD
Second part, that sounds good :)

  • Nation: Orange Region
    Name: Assimilare

    Coat of arms/flag: image.jpg

    Population: Testimonium Hominum

    Capital: Ordenum
    Location: centre of the region
Description: Dull stone walls surround a large portion of a forest area, with two large gates as entrances made of strong iron. The city is at its worst at the edges of the city. The houses that the poor citizens live in are small group houses, with thatched roofs and mud and manure walls, stuffed with thin, starving people. The streets are clean of rubbish however, as it is punishable by stoning for littering. As you continue to the next part of the city, the houses are simple houses of cobble that house middle class family's in each one. More people are seen walking around and walking to the market. The next section of the city houses noble families that are very wealthy. The final sector had a magnificent palace dominating it, which houses the dictator, or as he refers to himself, the king. The palace was draped in massive banners, and was stone grey. There was huge stairs leading up to a grand entrance. There were beautiful large houses around the palace, housing family of the dictator. The market is located in the middle class sector, with many stalls and shops.

Crossbowman: regular crossbowman with mediocre armour and small crossbows.

Specialis Vires (Vires): a secret police force that is very intelligent unlike most military and citizens. They have secret operations and are ruthless and merciless. They operate in both friendly AND enemy territory, carrying out special operations of all kinds.
Scouts: units that are dressed in cloaks that completely blend in with the battlefield. They carry short swords (not unlike roman swords). They are adept at hiding and sneaking around without the enemy noticing. They are used for rapid fast strikes into the enemy's flanks, before quickly retreating. Also used for quickly eliminating vital enemy units before reinforcements arrive.

Maxilla: a standing ant like creature that is loyal to the Führer and no one else. They never turn against him and they are his personal guard. They accompany him everywhere, and they follow his orders even if it was to throw themselves into a volcano. They carry spears that stun enemies, and are very tall and intimidating. Many find them frightening.

    History:
Origanally, Assimilare was a mere land of barbarians in tribes in the woods. They slowly started to become civilised and form larger and larger tribes. After many centuries the land was finally United, but not for long. It quickly dissolved into chaos with dozens of different factions warring and vying for power. At last, one faction rose up and conquered each faction one by one. They were the current dictators ancestors, and nothing much as changed since then except for technology and population.

Forgot to put the race in XD

Name: Testimonium Hominum (or just Bear People)
General Appearance: unusually hairy, bulky and larger than most average races, but otherwise similar to humans. Usually blonde with blue eyes. In bear form their features in human form are copied onto their bear form. For example, John was very pale with white hair, he would be a white bear.
Strengths: Very hard to rout. Can morph into a bear at anytime. Cause enemies to rout easily when in bear form.
Weaknesses: Not good with ranged weapons. Low intelligence. Hardly ever have independent choices.
Religion: The Testimonium Hominum worship their king/dictator as the Creator's descendent. This is a lie on the rulers part, of course, but the people have no idea.
Description: A bulky race that is taught order and obedience from the moment they are born. They can morph into bear form and back again at any time. They are usually unoriginal and unintelligent, except for the Specialis Vires, the secret police force (similar to gestapo) that has secret operations inside the fatherland or in other countries.
History: The bear people were originally simply regular bears and regular humans. However, they somehow caught a non-contagious disease that broke down genetic strands. The humans worshipped the Bears, and when they came in contact, the human OR bear would die and the other would have control of the two bodies, which were then one. Soon very little bears and humans remained, and over the centuries the only species that remained were the bear people.

Accepted, I'll edit IC when I get on my computer

Yes, go right ahead

Nah, I'm not gonna bother letting you tell me whats in this dungeon, cos I already know. And it's not gonna be an artifact or relic, because logically, who puts an artifact or relic at the end of a dungeon guarded by only weak swarms of shadows?

What do you think is there? And I need to put what's there, like I said at the beginning, I have plans for each dungeons items/relics/artifacts.

How big is the map? I mean, for example how long would it take for a small party to travel from my capital to Dresden?

1 Kilometer (KM or Kilometer is what distance is measured on the map) equals 0.62 Miles, so that makes the map 7456.45 miles big. So from your Capital to Dresden it is 932.05, or 1500 KM, which in reality would take a few days give or take how fast your people can travel. For Example, the Borla allows the dragonkin to travel 300+ MPH, so it'd only take them 2-3 days to traverse the entire map. Of course, than Anime Physics also come in, so if it's important, your characters can travel from Dresden to your capital in a few hours.

Nah it's more video game physics than anime physics that allows that. For example, in the pokemon anime it takes them FOREVER to get anywhere, but you can complete the entire region on the game before they've got to the second town.

Well, that's only 1 example of that type of anime physic, besides, even though Pokemon originated in Japan they don't really produce it anymore and USA took it over and bought it's rights, so it's more of a cartoon now then anything :3

Ok thanks, that's good to know. And also, should I read everyone else's character sheets before I get stuck into the IC?

It would be preferable, as the past/s in everyone's CS's is something that everyone in Narif knows as basic knowledge, and also so you know what your dealing with and what types of things you should do when interacting with other races.

Have fun. There's a lot of writing in them.
