"No I suppose they don't." she said laughing when he mentioned her standing up to Oliver and calling him out. She smiled brighter then and reached over to hug him. "You are amazing you know that Lester?" she asked softly as she sat there. She then looked over to the woman in the picture her arms still around him as she rested her head against his shoulder for a moment. "Her name is Joanna right?" she questioned. "She is really a really pretty lady." she said softly. "I am sure she had to fight guys off with a stick." she told him with a small laugh before looking back up at him again and smiling happily.

"And I am glad I don't have to worry about that for a while now. There is already too many women in this house." she told him with a playful wink, the smile seeming to never fade from her face now.

Lester was a little surprised feeling her arms around him, but he didn't take long to react and hugged her back, actually enjoying the closeness. It was a strange thing that, after all those years, he could actually enjoy a hug from someone. He smiled softly as she called him amazing, a smile that turned sadder as she talked about Joanna. He kept his gaze on the portrait but his arms around her as he talked. "Yes, she really... was." confirmed, even if the past tense hurt him a little. "Allen was really lucky to be with her. Even if he was the one taking a stick around to avoid other men." added, her expression turning happier as he looked down at her.

He chuckled slightly as her statement. She was right, his brother made sure to keep the rate of about three women per man on the house. "You are right. But you know, it's actually a good thing, because it's not easy to find a right one." said as he gently ran his fingers through her hair, still holding her with his other hand.

"Well he must of been an amazing guy too." she said with a smile as she sat there with him. "Well I am glad i can be the right one for someone here. I don't know how the others put up with your brothers." she laughed as she remained on the bed with him. She stayed close to his side, just enjoying the alone time the two were able to share. Even if they weren't saying anything, she enjoyed the quite and didn't want the moment to end at all. A small chill ran down her back as he ran his fingers though her hair, but she enjoyed it none the less.

"I am really glad that I could at least come here and meet you." she told him softly. "Even if some scary things happen, I don't think I want to leave here for a really long time."

He was completely relaxed as he had her at his side, enjoying the moment as well, no matter how simple it was. Her laugh and the warmth from her body made it even more perfect. Besides, he had a silly smile on his face the whole time, a smile that slowly faded with her last words. Of course, he loved hearing she was glad to meet him, but the words about not wanting to leave for a long time echoed on his head. At that moment, he realized he could easily fall for that woman, and he would eventually if they shared those amazing moments. But, what then? A long time didn't mean the same thing for her from what it meant for him. And he wasn't even sure if she wouldn't change her mind about that when she found out about his past and what he really was. So, he found himself fearing the temporary happiness she would be able to bring him, knowing it wouldn't last long, and it would bring him back to the miserable creature with awful rage attack he was a century ago. Just like that, he closed up once again, as he did with everyone else.

Lester glanced at her once again, with a gently smile, slowly letting her go. "I'm glad I could meet you too, Opal. And I'll try to keep the scary things to a minimal." told her and made a brief stop. "So what do you say if I escort you to your room?"

She saw the exact moment his walls went back up again, knowing that once more their peaceful time together would come to an end. She didn't mind though, she would be patient with him. She could only assume something bad must of happened to him in the past and someone must of hurt him beyond repair at one point. She slowly came to the realization that she was starting to fall for him, and that shocked her even more. She had only known him for two days, yet being there with him. Living with him and sitting there on the bed together, just talking, all of it seemed...right. When he offered to escort her back to her room she happily nodded.

"Sure." she said as she pulled away from him and started to get off the bed. "It's getting pretty late huh, I guess you kind of lose track of time when you start to have fun." she laughed again as she was heading to the door.

He chuckled along with her at her words, but still kept a bit distant. She was right about that, he didn't even realized how much time they had spent there. And she was right about they had fun also, but he found himself a bit confused. He walked with her along the halls, in silence, wishing none of his relatives would show up. Luckily, they didn't, and they finally reached her room. He stopped right in front of her door and glanced at her. "Have a great night, Opal." told her smiling slightly. It didn't matter if he was trying to keep distant, at least until he could figure out about his feelings and what to do with them, he would always keep being gentle and cordial with her.

When they got to her room, she reached up and kissed his cheek. "Thanks, you too." she said gently before walking into her room and disappearing behind the door. It took her a moment to realize what she just did and soon her face was turning a bright shade of red. She let out a small groan as she went over to her bed and fell face first on top of it. She felt stupid for doing such a thing, what if he didn't return those feelings at all, then what? She just embarrassed herself and he could avoid her forever after that. Sighing she flipped over onto her back and stared up at the ceiling, waiting for sleep to take over once again.

He staid still for a moment after feeling her kiss on his cheek. If anything, it made him realize that he needed to change things with her quickly, because it seemed that both were growing feelings for each other. And they only knew each others for two days. After a moment, he went back to his room and laid down. It took him a while to gain sleep, because his mind was going through thoughts about both Joanna and Opal. Anyway, he managed to get a good sleep that night, and he woke up a lot later than usual.

It was, luckily, a quiet night along the whole house. The three Kinlan brothers were quite, and neither of them tried to create any more trouble.

The next morning, Lester opened his eyes and stayed in bed for a while, something he didn't used to do. He had decided that, during that day, he would need to act as he usually did and avoid everyone on that house, including his own personal maid.

That morning another maid was getting Opal up from her sleep and getting her to work. She was showing her how to clean the house up and where to find the cleaning supplies and such. Finally after a few hours and it started to get lighter outside, she got a small break and was heading to Marie's room. "Hey Marie, it's me. I was wandering if you are feeling any better from yesterday, you gave everyone quite a scare there." she told her kindly. "I hope you don't mind, but I had changed you into a night gown last night and we still have breakfast for you if you want any." she said through the door.

Part of her had already forgot about her little kiss she gave Lester the night before. She was so busy with work that she hardly had time at all to think of anything.

Marie opened her eyes hearing the voice of her friends, but she still lacked of any strengths. Even if she didn't even process everyone of those words, she knew that girl was saying something nice to her, and wanted to answer back. Anyway, once again, she felt her eyelids really heavy to keep with the conversation. It was surprising how the low quantity of blood on her system made her feel and act so weak, even if she had survived many vampires feeding from her on the past.

Lester, meanwhile, was still going through a lot of things he didn't quite understand, as the kiss Opal had given him the previous day. Anyway, he knew how to snap off those thoughts, and that was why she grabbed his favorite novel and went to a far away field of his gardens to read it once again. He wouldn't even care about spending his whole day out there.

She paused at the door when there was no responds and gave a small smile. "You must be still sleeping...that's okay. You rest and I will see you soon." she told her gently as she started to take off down the hallway once again. She went into Lester's room to clean things up and was shocked to not see him in there. "Hmm..." was all she hummed. Shaking her head, she worked on getting his bed remade and his room clean once more. Dusting the bookshelf off and sweeping the room up. Once she was done, she gathered his clothes and was taking off to get them cleaned once again.

Lilly was walking about outside as he came out again. She stopped when she saw him coming in her direction and smiled happily. "Going to read outside today?" she questioned tilting her head to the side. "That sounds like fun, I might join you." she started. "How have things been here with your new maid. Everyone enjoying her alright?" she asked rising an eyebrow.

Lester looked at Lilly and smiled faintly. "You seem to be always wondering around our gardens. You know you can go inside too, right?" asked a bit amused as he kept his pace towards a deeper section of the gardens. Anyway, he sighed hearing her question about Opal. The last time they talked, he was complaining about not needing someone close to him, and that he wanted that maid to go away. And, now, he was actually wanting to see her at that right moment and had been hugging her and even holding hands. Of course, he just couldn't tell her that. As he thought about that, they arrived to a small white field.

"Ollie already scared her badly. But she's okay right now. She seems a strong one." said as he let himself fall to the snow. "And Jon is surely after her as well, but a bit more discrete." added and sighed once again. "She'll probably become a bit crazy in the few days."

"I know, but I like being outside." she told him with a smile as she followed him to the field and soon sat down beside him. "Hmm...well that's not too good then if they are both after her. Do you think it is safe then to leave her all alone in the house?" she questioned. "I am glad that she is doing better after our Ollie scared her. He can be very intimidating at times." she said gently. "But I think deep down he does have a kind heart. We are immortal, maybe that is why he acts so recklessly." she suggested with a shrug.

"That is just my thinking though." she said as she sat there. Opal on the other hand was still taking care of things in the house. She was trying her best and it showed, though half the time she really didn't know what she was doing.

He shrugged when she asked if it would be safe to leave her alone in the house. "I can't be next to her the whole time, can I? I mean, at this time of the day they are probably still sleeping. I don't think they'll do anything..." said with a frown. "And yeah, I know him. I mean... you have no idea how he was when we were.... human. He was such an innocent boy..." said and sighed. "I know he has some humanity hidden somewhere inside of him." added with a slight smile. "I wouldn't be still here if I didn't." he then glanced at the book he was still grabbing, but didn't eve open, and sighed. He was finding every time harder to have some time alone, but he was learning to enjoy the company.

And Lester was right. At the moment, both of his brothers were still sleeping. There weren't many times they woke up early, and that wasn't the exception. Jonathan woke up not much after that, though, and started wondering around.

Lilly nodded her head as she sat there. "I know, I didn't know you guys before I came here." she said before standing up again. She saw him glance at the book and couldn't help but grin. "I will leave you be then, I've been here for a while and should get home now. I just wanted to check up on everything." she told him cheerfully. "I will see you later Lester." she said before starting to take off once more.

Opal was just walking down the hallway, carrying a basket of clean clothes with her and heading to Lester's room to get them put away. She almost ran into Jonathan on the way there, but manged to twirl out of his way. "Sorry Jonathan, and good morning." she said as she kept walking.

Lester smiled at her. "See you around, Lilly. Thanks for hearing my complaints." told her a bit amused before opening his book. He had already read that novel a couple times, but he could never get tired about it.

"Oh, what a nice surprise." Jonathan said as a smile crossed his face. He turned to walk behind her and followed her into Lester's room. "I think you owe me a meal together, don't you Miss. Williams?" said as he laid down into Lester's bed, looking at her as she did whatever she was there for. "And I heard you met our idiot brother. I'm quite sorry for that." added, rolling his eyes as if Oliver was a disappointment.

Opal looked at him as he came in and laughed softly. "Yes I guess I do owe you that." she said gently as she was folding and putting his clothes away. "Maybe when I get done here we can go have a little bit of lunch or breakfast for you." she said half playfully as she was getting the clothes into the closet and hanging them up. "Yes I did indeed meet him...it was rather...intimidating." Opal said truthfully. "But I don't think I have too much to worry about, Lester said he wouldn't let him do anything to me." she said as she finished with the clothes.

"That would be really nice." answered at the mention of getting lunch or breakfast, making a charming smile at her. "I'm sure he will protect you just fine. But he might be a little overprotective sometimes. He probably already told you to stay away from me too." added a bit amused. Jon stood up from the bed, walking towards her, just to stop about a meter from her and laid against a wall, keeping his gaze on her. "Well, actually, you probably should. Lester would feel terrible if he's not even the favorite brother of his own maid, wouldn't he?" told her before giving her a quick wink.

"He did in fact tell me to stay away from you too." she said softly as she stood there slowly closing the closet door. "And I don't think he would have to worry about that. He is already my favorite." she said laughing before her stomach gave a small growl. A small blush fell onto her face and she started laughing. "Oh gosh, I guess I am hungrier then I thought." she said seeming half amused that even she didn't know how hungry she was. "Well how about we go get something small to eat?" she questioned. "I haven't seen much of Lester at all today." she said more to herself then to him at that moment.

"Of course he is, for the moment. " answered her with a smirk, an expression that he then changed for a frown. "So why don't you listen to him and stay away from me?" said before chuckling with the noise of her stomach. "Come on, darling. I can't believe we are allowing our beautiful maids to be hungry." told her before putting an arm on her back, leading her to the dining room. That particular room of the house was one of the biggest, which was a little ironic due to the little use they gave to it.
