She is quiet and reserved. She was brought up to be subservient, because her mother was brought up that way. She keeps to herself unless she's approached. She is mostly non-confrontational unless threatened or incited to anger. She's slow to anger, but not quick to love. She is very emotionally unavailable, but not completely cold-hearted.

She doesn't know it yet, but she is slightly psychic. She has had dreams in the past that have come true, but soon she'll start having visions during her waking hours. History
Hildegaard was raised on Earth with her mother. Hilde's mother was hard working and she respected her very much. They had a very restricted type of relationship though. They never really shared their feelings with one another, so she isn't very good at it. She doesn't feel sad because of it; she actually doesn't think highly of overly emotional people. Hildegaard grew up with an amazing work ethic which she took great pride in. Her mother taught her never to rely on others when you can do for yourself. She'd never known her father or thought about him much until her mother died of radiation poisoning. After her mother was gone, she felt the loneliness set in. It was uncomfortable. She searched for her father for seven months. He'd been living in destitution on Arviania. He struck up a deal with some recruiters without her knowledge. When she went to sleep the night she'd arrived, she was taken away by the recruiters in exchange for money paid to her father. She attitude towards the Legion is mixed. She feels grateful to have something to work towards, a profession, a craft. On the other hand, she feels slightly betrayed by her father.
