Chris raised an eyebrow at her, then at him, then back at her.
"Ok listen America... I have my reasons for picking him. In a way you guys both had a crappy life so I assigned him to be your guardian by the time you were born. Why is that relevant?"

"His job is to help me right?!" She yelled, getting more and more frustrated by the moment. She absentmindedly stepped back so she was closer to Elliot as she spoke.

Chris sighed, "Listen, this is perfectly normal for a client to act this way during a situation like this... I assigned to you until you got your life back on track. And so far you have so his punishment will still remain."

"So you mean to tell me that the only way he won't die again is if I keep living a crappy life? Done! I'll live in a damn trash can!" She yelled angrily before turning and burying her face in Elliot's shoulder, crying softly.

Elliot gently hugged her, "America you can't do that..."
Chris let out a sigh, "I don't have time for this..." he then yelled, "Amber!" Then suddenly a blonde woman came out, "Escort Wyatt and his client out."
She nods, "Yes sir.." and she did. As she did she looked at Elliot, "By the way Elliot... your friend James wants to talk to you."
He looked at her, "He does. Oh ok I'll go over to him." And he jogged over to find his friend. Amber stopped America from following him. She whispered, "There is a way to save him..."

America looked at the girl and wiped her eyes as best she could. At hearing her words, she quickly widened her eyes and nodded. "I'll do anything..."

Amber let out a sigh, "This sounds cheesy... but he needs to find love. Try hooking him off with someone. Then his punishment will be gone... I must warn you though... he hasn't had a serious relationship since he died... He had a fiancé when he was alive..." she frowned slightly and shook her head, "She was a horrible woman..."

America barely let her finish before she leaned over and hugged Amber tightly. "Thank you so much," she whispered softly and nodded slightly. "Why was she so bad?"

Amber hugged her back then looked at her letting out a sigh, "Her name was May... Thats all I can say. You should ask him."
Just then Elliot ran up to them, "He said he didn't call me."

America nodded slightly before looking over at Elliot. She turned and walked out of the golden doors. "I'm done here," she said, acting as if she didn't get any closer to a solution.

Elliot raised an eyebrow at her but smiled slightly, "Great! Lets go back to the hotel!" And with that he teleported them there." He plopped down on his bed and stretched. He placed his hands behind his head.

America silently walked to the window and played with her fingers as she looked at the view. She sighed softly efore looking down and finding her courage. "Who's may?" She asked without looking at him.

Elliot was certainly taken off guard by that question. He sat up and looked at her, "How..." then he figured it out and sighed, "Amber told you didn't she?"

America ignored the question and kept her eyes on the view. "Who's May," she repeated as she wrapped her arms around herself.

Elliot ran a hand through his hair and sighed. He knew she wasn't going to let it go, "May... was my fiancè before I died. We were going out for a whole year and I was head over heels for her... sadly however she may have seemed to be the perfect woman but deep down she was a monster. Manipulative. She cheated on me when I went to war... With my twin brother. She manipulated him... used him as well and convinced him to kill our 8 year old sister... my brother was already a rebellious guy... she just egged him on."

At hearing about his sister, America dropped her jaw, instantly sorry she asked. She turned around and looked at him a bit nervously. "I-I'm sorry...I didn't know..." She said as she looked down quietly.

Elliot smiled softly, "Its alright America. Really. I guess I should have told you earlier."

She shook her head and sighed softly. "No...it wasn't my place to ask," she said as she looked up at him nervously.

He walked over to her and gave her a hug, "No, its alright don't worry about it," he looked down at her, "Yes I admit I was a little caught off guard when you asked me that... but I am your guardian. I have to be honest with you."

America hugged him back and sighed, unsure of if she should tell him about the way to save him. She took a deep breath and nodded. "I know a way to save you," she said as she looked up at him.
