Murder Game XVI: The Time Crisis (IC)

Attack on Vale

Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock...

That ticking sound seemed to go on forever and ever, droning on in the background of countless conversations and interactions going on in the general area, until suddenly, there was a distinct "click", as the ticking stopped.

Then, there was silence, as both the portal and the pendant Azuma still had on her suddenly shone in unison, before a distinct ringing sounded from up above... Serene... Peacefull, like it was meant to usher in a new era or something.

Finally, Azuma's pendant suddenly found its way out of her grasp, and floated through the air, headed straight for the strange, circular formation... The "Time Gate", as that message on the billboard had called it, and at long last, the two united, causing the circular formation to expand outward, opening up a mysterious tear through space and time.

In fact, it looked alot like the one that had brought them here... Complete with a mysterious blue electricity crackling around it and everything, except, it appeared to be a bit more benign.

That is... Until it started to pull everyone in the area towards it, and in no time, everybody, along with their belongings and what have to had been sucked into the portal, tumbling around through an endless expanse of nothingness once more, as they were sent hurtling through the various fabrics of space and time.

"Our kingdoms are at the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So, I ask you, when the first shots are fired, who do you think you can trust?"

Before the Arrival...

Amity Colloseum, Vale

It was a good way through the Vytal festival now, and the selection process had just begun;on the screens overhead, various pictures of various participants were being cycled through rapidly... Until they settled upon two distinct names.

"Yang Xiao Long and Mercury Black!" Called Peter Port, who juuuust so happened to be one of the announcers.

"Break a leg, sis!" Interjected a faint voice from somewhere in the crowd.

However, anyone who knew that voice, would instantly recognize who it was; Ruby Rose, calling out words of encouragement as her sister, Yang Xiao Long herself went off to join her opponent in the center of the arena.

"Would all other combatants please leave the stage!" Port added over the announcements.

While somewhere in the crowds, a mysterious woman, with orange eyes, and long, flowing black hair stood up from her seat... And while the crowd's attention was focused on Yang and Mercury, stepped through a door out of view... That couldn't be good, could it?

And with that, those who had still been left in the arena began to file out, minus Yang and Mercury of course, who each respectively squared each other down, preparing for the fight ahead...

However, unfortunately, or perhaps... Fortunately, the fight never had the chance to occur, as it was interrupted by a loud rumbling noise, which was soon followed by a rather distinct shaking coming from the stadium...

Ripples seemed to occur in the sky itself, as many began to take notice and look upwards... Just in time to see numerous ginormous creatures, looking humanoid in nature suddenly appearing out of nowhere, plumetting downwards towards the stadium. The only thing preventing them from crashing right into the audience below them were its shields, that were beginning to fluctuate violently under their weight, as creature after creature slammed into them...

A siren began to blare, as these creatures slowly began to get up onto their feet from ontop the stadium, their horrid eyes looking down on the crowd below... With an intense look of hunger in their faces.

Hunger for human flesh...

Panic was already setting in, as the crowds below began to rush to safety, along with the two combatants who had been prepared to fight each other just a few moments ago, as a siren began to blare throughout the stadium, accompanied by some sort of autonomous announcement...

"Alert. Incoming Grimm attack. Threat level: Nine. Please seek shelter in a calm and orderly manner."


Unfortunately, it didn't seem like anyone was heeding it, as they all got up, most attempting to make their way through to any and all exits, while others were scrambling for weapons... Or their scroll devices... As the creatures above them pounded at the shielding above them, and considering the cracks already beginning to form in it... It was only a matter of time before they would break through, and fall into the stadium below.

Yet, as inevitable as it was that the shielding would fall... No-one could have expected what happened next.

An Atlas airship that had been patrolling the skies suddenly flailed out of control, suddenly seeming to have lost control. Though as it drew closer, it became frighteningly obvious why; one of those ginormous creatures had latched itself onto it, and somehow, seemed to have caused the ship to lose power!

Unlike the others, it's skin seemed to be covered in dark, oozing patches, with its devoid of any presense of irises, and even emitting a strange, red... Glow... However, before any other details could have been made out by the crowd below... The ship it had disabled crashed right through the barrier, causing the entire thing to shatter, and as the ship crashed into the center of the stadium, with its uninvited occupant still clinging onto it, as if it was the only thing that mattered to that creature... The others that had been pounding away at the barrier fell through with the ship, down into the stadium below.

The Arrival

By the time the group was brought to the floating stadium, by a mysterious blue portal, just like the one that had dumped them into the void earlier, the scene had turned ugly indeed... Like last time, the portal closed before anyone could find their way back to it, and it also seemed that two things were missing.

If Azuma were to check herself, she would discover that the pendant she had been holding onto had disappeared, and ontop of that, Togame had never come out of the portal, which likely meant that she had been somehow lost during their transportation from one dimension to another.

Right now though, there was very little time to take in these things, as more pressing matters were at hand; towering beasts were ravaging the general populace... And whatever event might have been going on in this stadium looked to have been interrupted by what was apparently an unexpected incursion from these creatures.

It seemed that it would be a good idea to take action in one way or another, and from a quick look around the area, there were a few ways to do this:

1) Find a safe place amongst the stadium to wait this out, as it seems that any potential exits as of right now were blocked by both fleeing civilians, and towering creatures.

2) There seemed to be a good number of people attempting to fight these creatures in order to protect and evacuate the numerous civilians that seemed to litter the area. Considering that they were holding a rather wide variety of weapons, freshly retrieved from rocket propelled lockers that they seemed to have called towards them... Perhaps it would be in ones best interest to join them?

3) Of course... One could always just try and keep a low profile in order to attempt to avoid these creatures, which were currently focused on either those trying to fight them, or the civilians fleeing... And investigate points of interest in the area... Perhaps they'd find something usefull?

"You can do it everyone! I believe in you all!" Sidon rooted for everyone fighting the giants. He didn't have a way to help them, so he just stayed back, cheering the fighters on.

@Those Fighting the Titans

Ben definitely had the right idea... Though he did find it to be a bit tough to maneuver around the arena due to his sheer size in the form of the colossal creature, he posed a distinct threat to the creatures that had originally been ravaging the area.

Even the largest of these titans were easily toppled by "Way Big", and many sustained numerous injuries as a result of his attacks... and further devastated by the energy beams he began shooting towards them.

However, save for some of the creatures, who didn't seem to be showing any signs of movement after the trauma they received... Their bodies beginning to vaporise, numerous of the creatures that were struck were beginning to rise up... The injuries they sustained beginning to regenerate! Entire limbs that were lost were beginning to grow back... And even some of those that were decapitated were beginning to rise again in about a minute, lumbering towards "Way Big", not appearing to want to give up their result.

Those that made it close enough sunk their teeth into his body, seeming to be trying to chew on him. Perhaps it was because they still believed Ben's new form to be human?... Or maybe it was out of a basic instinct... But at any rate, this definitely wasn't going to feel good!

Eevie experienced a similar issue, and though their shadow balls did a number on the smaller titans... Some even being completely obliterated. There were those that were beginning to rise again, regenerating their lost limbs, and also beginning to lumber towards Eevie, lunging towards it as they snapped at them with their teeth.

On the other hand, aided by Sonic's homing attacks, A2 and Noembelu were able to topple even the larger titans in the mix... Causing them to slow their advance, before Sonic's homing attacks cut through muscles and tendons on their arms and legs, temporarily immobilizing a good few titans in the process.

However, just like Eevie and Ben experienced, these titans were regenerating their skin tissue as well... And in about a minute, they would be mobile again... And angry! The larger titans began to attempt to crush the trio with swings from their limbs, while the smaller one settled with lunging at them with their mouths wide open...

Last but not least... Dio, and Giorno was quite effective at obliterating the Titans he fought, regardless of his size... Largely thanks to his time stop ability, which seemed to work, for the time being. Though, as he racked up his kill count... An blood curdling shriek that seemed to pierce the very fabrics of space and time itself, followed by a crackling shockwave of energy coming towards him out of nowehre suddenly unfroze time for Dio.

Not only that, but both of them felt... Weaker... As if the shockwave had begun to drain their powers... That wasn't good.

Neither was the fact that "Way Big" had also been clipped by this blast, which would begin to cause him to shrink, slowly... It looks like this shockwave had somehow begun to revert him to human form!

What was originally going to be an easy victory for the hardest hitters in the group that had decided to fight, seemed to be turning sour rather quickly... But why?

Perhaps it was in their best interest to locate the source of these energy shockwaves, which shouldn't be hard, given that one just had to take a look in the direction of that shrieking from earlier...

@Those Keeping a Low Profile (exploring the area/observing)

As Shion (and possibly Eygon) observed the more "local" fighters... It seemed that they were capable of some incredible maneuvers, and strength, aided by their weapons, and an apparently innate power that granted them protection, and even some abilities...

However, what was noted was that no matter how much punishment the titans took... Only those who had sustained severe damage to a particular segment of their neck remained down, their bodies desitegrating into a thick smoke, starting with their skin and muscle tissue first...

Soon though, the two found their gaze drifting towards a particular team of four that were currently in a battle with two titans that looked to be around 15 meters tall, the larger of the bunch in the stadium, staving them off off as a group of civilians ran.

Amongst them, was a girl wearing black and red, wielding a ginormous scythe that was also a gun... Tearing away one of the creature's body as her teammates, but her efforts seemed futile... As its body, much like the others, continued to regenerate from their injuries injuries, even as it was pummeled by four fighters at once.

The scythe wielder eventually ceased her assault for a moment, seeming to be catching her breath as she looked intently towards the creature, as if trying to figure something out...

"It... Must have a weak spot somewhere!... I just... Know it!" She shouted to the rest of her team between breaths.

As one of the creatures began to lumber towards her though, one of her teammate's, with black and white garb, black hair, and a strange bow on her head seemed to freeze for a moment... Her eyes widening as she suddenly seemed to realize something.

Just then, without a word, she charged towards the creature that had been lumbering towards the young scythe wielder, causing her to cry out in protest.

"Blake! What are you doing?!" Called the scythe wielder.

But it seemed that Blake didn't hear her at all... Which seemed to confuse the scythe wielder further; looks like this wasn't normal Blake behavior, at all...

Instead, Blake appeared to launch herself into the air with the aid of what appeared to be some sort of pistol, dagger thing, attatched by a ribbon to a bigger weapon... Her eyes focusing on a distinct part of the titan's neck, narrowly avoiding a hand that the creature shot out in an attempt to grab her... Before she quickly lodged the smaller portion of her arsenal (that pistol dagger thing) into the back of the creature's head, using it to pull herself towards the titan's back, her other hand gripping a larger sword that was connected by that black ribbon as she suddenly slashed out the section that made up the nape of the creature's neck.

Unlike the damage it had sustained from other attacks... This one appeared to cause it to collapse to the ground for good, its body slowly beginning to evaporate, seeming to confirm this.

Blake landed rather calmly on the ground, seeming to nod a little at this sight; looks like either through some fluke... Or some other mysterious means, she had figured out a surefire way to defeat these creatures! Though the Blake, and her fellow scythe wielder's companions seemed to be occupied, with fighting off the other two titans, they would have hopefully taken notice of Blake's apparent discovery.

However, it appeared that something about the way Blake fought confused the scythe wielder, as she scratched her head, a puzzled look crossing her face as she spoke.

"Um... Blake? Why didn't you use your semblance?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.

"... Semblance?" Replied Blake, looking evidently confused.

"..." Welp, the scythe wielder was at an utter loss for words.

In fact, it seemed that Blake's apparent lack of knowledge on what a Semblance was had shocked her so badly, that she had sort of... Frozen up... Oh dear... Looks like that scythe wielder wasn't going to be announcing this newfound weakness anytime soon, unless someone snapped her out of it... Whiiich would hopefully be one of her teammates, once they deal with the other titan.

In the meantime, it would appear that the trio that had been searching around, and not too focused on the fighting eventually stumbled into a crashed airship that looked to be military by nature. Numerous androids, who seemed to be devoid of any power littered the ground... With the guns they had once been wielding strewn about the place.

It also seemed that there might be more weaponry to find inside the crashed ship itself, but... This would prove to be more difficult than just picking up the few weapons littered around the crash site, as one of these "titans", looking to be around 10 meters in height was currently latched onto the top of the ship.

In fact, it looked to have been the source of a screeching noise that had erupted in the midst of Dio and Giorno's killing spree... With dark, oozing patches dotting its flesh, and its eyes lacking irsises, emitting a strange... Red glow.

Looks like if they wanted to find any supplies within that ship, they would need to take down the creature currently latched onto it, one way or another...

In the meantime, Kara would soon locate a seemingly empty hall that happened to be a good place to change...

However, before she had time to change or anything, she ended up bumping into a woman who appeared to be fiddling with some sort of device... Fortunately though, she seemed a be too distracted to notice her, and Kara was free to change as she wished, buuut... If she were to steal a sideglance at the woman, she might notice an increasingly frustrated expression crossing her face; something was clearly bothering her...

There was not many places where towering beasts nor screaming civilians weren't cluttering the place... But fortunately, it seemed that the upper seating areas of the stadium were mostly safe... Juuust that there wasn't much in a way of an exit from there, so it was only good for so long, given that resources were a big lacking around here for an extended stay.

Fortunately, Shichika seemed to be safe where he was... For now, as none of the creatures were paying attention to him.

However, that unearthly screech that had radiated from the center of the stadium would still be pretty unnerving nonetheless... That and the stadium itself appeared to be a bit unstable now, which could likely be attributed to the additional weight it was now forced to keep airborne.​

"S-shit! What the hell are these things?" Mista exclaimed, watching in horror as the giants regenerated all of their wounds. Up until this point, he had mostly been trying to lay low, unsure of how he could help with his skillset. Eventually, however, he began to notice a certain pattern with the monsters' regeneration.

So they don't regenerate if you get 'em in the back of the neck? Looks like I will be able to help out after all!

"Sex Pistols, its go time! The weakness is the back of the neck!"

Mista fired two shots from his revolver in quick succession, aiming at one of the nearby smaller monsters. As they flew through the air, a cry could be heard, seemingly coming from the bullets themselves.

"YEEEEEEEHAWWWW!"

As the bullets sped by, those with good eyesight might have been able to notice a strange creature riding each one, apparently the source of the yell. Those creatures were Mista's Stand, which he called "Sex Pistols".

The bullets would seemingly miss their target, flying past the beast's head. However, once behind it, the bullets would suddenly change direction as the Sex Pistols kicked them straight into the back of the monster's neck.

Unlike the damage it had sustained from other attacks... This one appeared to cause it to collapse to the ground for good, its body slowly beginning to evaporate, seeming to confirm this.

Blake landed rather calmly on the ground, seeming to nod a little at this sight; looks like either through some fluke... Or some other mysterious means, she had figured out a surefire way to defeat these creatures! Though the Blake, and her fellow scythe wielder's companions seemed to be occupied, with fighting off the other two titans, they would have hopefully taken notice of Blake's apparent discovery.

However, it appeared that something about the way Blake fought confused the scythe wielder, as she scratched her head, a puzzled look crossing her face as she spoke.

"Um... Blake? Why didn't you use your semblance?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.

"... Semblance?" Replied Blake, looking evidently confused.

"..." Welp, the scythe wielder was at an utter loss for words.

In fact, it seemed that Blake's apparent lack of knowledge on what a Semblance was had shocked her so badly, that she had sort of... Frozen up... Oh dear... Looks like that scythe wielder wasn't going to be announcing this newfound weakness anytime soon, unless someone snapped her out of it... Whiiich would hopefully be one of her teammates, once they deal with the other titan.

In the meantime, it would appear that the trio that had been searching around, and not too focused on the fighting eventually stumbled into a crashed airship that looked to be military by nature. Numerous androids, who seemed to be devoid of any power littered the ground... With the guns they had once been wielding strewn about the place.

It also seemed that there might be more weaponry to find inside the crashed ship itself, but... This would prove to be more difficult than just picking up the few weapons littered around the crash site, as one of these "titans", looking to be around 10 meters in height was currently latched onto the top of the ship.

In fact, it looked to have been the source of a screeching noise that had erupted in the midst of Dio and Giorno's killing spree... With dark, oozing patches dotting its flesh, and its eyes lacking irsises, emitting a strange... Red glow.

Looks like if they wanted to find any supplies within that ship, they would need to take down the creature currently latched onto it, one way or another...

In the meantime, Kara would soon locate a seemingly empty hall that happened to be a good place to change...

However, before she had time to change or anything, she ended up bumping into a woman who appeared to be fiddling with some sort of device... Fortunately though, she seemed a be too distracted to notice her, and Kara was free to change as she wished, buuut... If she were to steal a sideglance at the woman, she might notice an increasingly frustrated expression crossing her face; something was clearly bothering her...

There was not many places where towering beasts nor screaming civilians weren't cluttering the place... But fortunately, it seemed that the upper seating areas of the stadium were mostly safe... Juuust that there wasn't much in a way of an exit from there, so it was only good for so long, given that resources were a big lacking around here for an extended stay.

Fortunately, Shichika seemed to be safe where he was... For now, as none of the creatures were paying attention to him.

However, that unearthly screech that had radiated from the center of the stadium would still be pretty unnerving nonetheless... That and the stadium itself appeared to be a bit unstable now, which could likely be attributed to the additional weight it was now forced to keep airborne.​

Birdie, who had finally come to, got up and was keeping a low profile. Death by being eaten was a touch too ironic a way to go, so he merely observed the fighting going on, particularly Blake and Ruby. Huh, so kill it by the back of the neck, eh? He scratched his stomach lazily. How anyone would be able to get up their was anyone's guess. Hell, he pitied the sod who would end up on the wrong end of a Titan's jaws...

...and, of course, that poor sap happened to be Noembelu. Glancing over at her from his lovely place in the shade, a knot formed in Birdie's gut as he remembered something very important-he had to bring her back home safe and sound or Karin would kick him to the curb! "Bloody teenagers, always getting into trouble...NOEMBELU!!!" Birdie took to running right into the fight.

Hearing her name, Noembelu turned to find Birdie calling her-and had she looked at him a second longer, she would be dead. She quickly rolled out of the way of a titan arm swinging at her, and she glares at Birdie, growing more and more irritated by the oaf by the second. "What?!"

"The weak spot's the back of the neck! Go for the neck!!!!"

Noembelu merely raised an eyebrow. Maybe he wasn't totally useless. Turning to the smaller titan, Noembelu would stay still, as if letting herself be eaten.

Birdie sputtered in disbelief. He goes out of his way to help her, and she sets herself up like Christmas dinner?! "What the-what the fuck are you-"

But that very second Noembelu jumped into action-literally. Grabbing the titan's upper lip, she jumped up and climbed the titan's face, running on the top of its head and jumped onto its neck, slicing its weak spot with her hatchets. She looked at the other three with her. "You heard him-back of the neck!"

"Well, from the way you're talking, I'm guessing he's your first Pokemon, huh?" Rui mused cheerfully, briefly glancing to the Eevee. "Well, I'd be happy to help teach you! Wes, too... Even though he doesn't really seem like it," she added in a mutter, noting Ben's obvious discomfort. "But oh, he hasn't?" she replied, features briefly falling. "Aww... Well, I bet we could--"

And she didn't get the chance to finish. Thanks, portal thing.

"U-ugh..." she muttered, rubbing her head at the rough landing as she climbed to her feet, looking around with a groan. To her left, Wes was already upright, a rather sadistic grin on his face. Oh, gosh. This couldn't be good. "Wes...? What're you...--"

"Solis? Orpheus? Let's go," he uttered, tossing two of his Pokeballs as he did so, voice filled with a dark, sinister glee. In a flash of red light, his two lifelong companions were unleashed, letting out mighty calls as the Espeon and Umbreon looked to their trainer, ready to do whatever he wished. And with nothing but a look that more or less said 'you know what to do' from the male and a nod of encouragement, the pair leapt into action.

Blasts of pure psychic energy were launched at the opposing Grimm by the Espeon, it's eyes lighting up as it fired off barrages of Psychic and Confusion at the savage creatures. All the while, her counterpart, Umbreon, dashed about in Quick Attacks and unleashed darkness with Feint Attacks.

It was game time... But unfortunately, his glee was interrupted by a sudden exclamation, causing him to lose his smirk as he glanced over his shoulder through the corner of his golden eyes.

"Wes, look out--!"

And suddenly, the smirk was back as Wes whirled around in an instant, narrowly and nimbly dodging a swing from one of the Titans. "Lose somethin', shit-for-brains?" he inquired rhetorically, before swinging up his leg, slamming his boot harshly into the thing's stomach. He wasn't able to do much of a dent to it, being a normal human, but he'd been in plentys of fights with boys three times his size growing up around the Snagem goons, and he could at the very least hold his own. But he was slightly surprised to see Yoichi and Ben doing the same.

"...Not bad for a couple a' kids," he muttered.

Shion watched the battle with interest, and was glad that a weakpoint had been spotted, he just had to relay the message. He glanced around before waving down the first person he saw, which was JD who was fending off a 3 meter.

He pointed to the downed Titans nape. It took Jd a moment before he caught on and nodded before pulling out his gun and fired into the creatures nape before dashing off towards Ben and the other's to relay the message, hoping what he did was enough for now.



"Hey! They're weakpoint is the nape!" JD exclaimed, pointing to the back of his neck.

"Cut them there and they're down for good." he called.

"Hey, that hurts!" Way Big says as he plucked a couple of chewing titans up from his leg with his hands. That was when he saw JD and heard the delivered message. "The nape? Thanks JD! Alright everyone, aim for the nape!"

With that, Way Big picked up some of the Titans that were surrounding Wes, Rui, Buddy and their Pokemon, preparing to eat them, tossing them into the air before he used the cosmic metal blades on his arms to slice their napes as they fell to the ground.

"Hey, pipsqueak, my partner's friend, not food, you hear?" Way Big threatens one of the aforementioned Titans. "Buddy, Wes, Rui, you OK?" Way Big asks.

"Skree-ee-ee!" Buddy exclaims in response as he follows Solis and Orpheus' extrasensoric, dark assault with Trump Card once more, launching card-like projectiles from its mane this time aiming to slice through the Titan's necks and shoot through them to aim at their napes. Just a while ago, Buddy was frightened by the beasts baring their fangs, until Wes stepped in and Way Big picked them up.

"I don't know what kind of mobile game this is, but I'd take this over rolling the gacha!" Way Big joked as he plucks Titans from the ground, tosses them into the air, then slices their napes with his armblades as they fell. He did all this while spinning about in one position.

Looking at the Titans attached to his feet and attempting to gnaw on him, he sighs and tries to scratch them off by rubbing both of his metal-coated feet together, the same way someone would rub their shoes together to rid of the Titans on them.

"This better not have any effect on the shoes I'm wearing as good old me," Way Big drops a comment as he shakes his head. Just then, Way Big felt as if he was shrinking as his Omnitrix flashed between green and red and produced a beeping noise. From his perspective, the environment and more importantly, the Titans, were growing.

"Not good! Not good! Not good!" Way Big bellows. "These guys are getting bigger! Or am I the one getting smaller?"

As he shrank, it became easier for Way Big to move in the arena.

"Hey, maybe this ain't so bad after all!" Way Big says, before slugging full-speed punches and kicks at the still-shorter Titans, right in their faces, while slashing their napes with his armblades! "Now this is more like it!"​

This was all incredibly sudden, being tossed into this world. Chaos had erupted, and Rosa was watching. She watched as crowds spread out, running away from the titans. She looked at the group she was with, helping fight the titans and defend the running crowds. These could have been her own people. Her kingdom could have been attacked.

She had to do something, not just as a White Mage, but as the queen of Baron.

Rosa raised her staff. She faced the group fighting the titans and cast Protect and Haste. This would hopefully help protect the fighters from physical attack as well as speed them up, if only slightly. She then Ran to help defend civilians, whatever that entailed. If someone required healing, she would heal.

Perhaps it was in their best interest to locate the source of these energy shockwaves, which shouldn't be hard, given that one just had to take a look in the direction of that shrieking from earlier...​

But that very second Noembelu jumped into action-literally. It happened again.

Shichika's body shook with disbelief as Togame disappeared from his life once again. The hole in his soul felt deeper than ever, and this sort of pain was often never something that could easily be healed. The swordsman had never been particularly articulate when it came to expressing himself in thoughts, let alone words, but the general sentiment was there.

He remembered back then, when he had been hurt so badly, as though something inside him broke that could never be fixed, with the scar on his face that never faded being a constant reminder of that pain he had to burden. It really was like a trip back to the past. Shichika's legs felt weak, and he sank to his knees onto the ground, not caring for the chaos that transpired around him as he fell, his body shaking. Rarely did he ever look and feel as vulnerable as he did in this moment; a "sword" like him was never meant to be broken, especially not the final Deviant Blade, but then, what even his father never realized was that in the end, Shichika Yasuri was not only a sword.

He was, at heart, still human.

But while this pain was his curse to bear, it was also something that only he had the right to have.

"... Togame."

It felt like the first time he had lost her as well. She had meant for that time to be liberating for Shichika, wishing for him to no longer be bound to the shackles of being a sword to wield, wishing for him to be free to live his own life as a man.

But perhaps things like those were never meant to happen. Ultimately, perhaps he was right to storm that castle that night, and it was only a fluke that he had managed to destroy everything and everyone, that he failed at the one objective he had sought out for himself; to die. When he failed to die, he resolved to keep living and see how that turned out, as she would have wanted.

Was he ever meant to live peacefully? Maybe, maybe not. The life of a swordsman was oft perilous and ever-changing. Perhaps only he was able to determine what kind of life he left, and maybe that was something up to the mysterious force known as fate.

But whatever the case, it didn't matter. He did not have the tongue for faith, nor the room for fate. To hell with both.

Standing on his own two feet again, Shichika Yasuri, the lone head of the Kyoutouryuu School, stood firmly, yet in a hollow manner. His stance was strong, yet empty.

It was just like before.

Power without a soul. Strength without heart. Anger without passion.

Dashing from his position, propelling himself from the ground in a flash like a cheetah, Shichika ran steadfast towards one of the creatures known as "Titans," more notably one of the shorter ones that stood at around 10 feet or so, and ducked his head just as the creature took a swing at him in an attempt to grab him. With his pure physical strength, Shichika thrust his fist up right into the Titan's forearm and blew the limb right off, only to give pause when the monster's limb grew right back as though nothing had happened.

Then as Noembelu called out to the others, having found out their weaknesses, Shichika moved again, once again narrowly avoiding the Titan's counter as he swiftly dashed behind the monster, his kimono gracefully flowing in the wind like the thorniest of flowers and the most gentle of leaves, complemented by the firm, stiff power behind his fists as Shichika scaled the monster's back like a mountain and practically stabbed into the back of the Titan's neck with his bare hands, his strength allowing for him to dig right through like a drill, instantly killing it and causing it to fall down on its stomach with Shichika on top, standing victorious like a gladiatorial warrior who had felled the monster of the coliseum.

But it was far from over, as the one he had destroyed was little more than taking a handful of water out of the world's oceans, as more and more Titans appeared. This was clearly beyond anything he had faced before in all his travels, as far as conventional means went, but while dim Shichika might be, even he realized that there had to be another way to approaching this army than what seemed like the easiest. After all, for all the intelligence he lacked in the social department, he was a master combatant, else he would never have been able to acquire the Deviant Blades along with Togame back then.

And perhaps that was the important thing. He had someone with him to help him. He had someone to count on.

Maybe it was time again for him to trust another person again.

"Let's go," he simply said to the others in his general vicinity, gesturing towards the shrieking in the distance that the swordsman could only assume was the source of the mysterious shockwaves in the air, before dashing off to the source.

"The nape, eh...?" Wes uttered, grinning slyly and letting out a chuckle. "Heh. Good find, kid," he remarked to Ben, grin ever widening as he turned again to face the oncoming beats, cracking his knuckles. "Alright, change of plans..." Clicking his tongue audibly, Wes called once again to his companions. "Sol, take the nearest Psybeam on those things's necks you can get. Orpheus?" There was a pause now, the rogue trainer's eyes briefly flitting to the Eevee he had stepped to defend moments ago before returning back to his Umbreon, instead. "...You stay here, with us. Make sure our little friend here stays safe."

With a quick exchanged glance, the two Pokemon nodded, Espeon leaping into the air and firing off a Psybeam at the nearest Titan's neck, while Umbreon danced back and took up a defensive position at Buddy and Wes's side.

Flipping down his visor, he continued to smirk, speaking with a delighted, dark edge to his voice.

"Let's give 'em hell."

All of these otherworldly events caused Eygon to observe in awe. He wasn't sure what to do. This place was the definition of unfamiliar territory.​

After absorbing information from his surroundings and his allies' chatter, he knew what must be done. He ran toward the crashed ship and engaged the unusual-looking titan. Despite his heavy gear, he looked largely unaffected by it as he ran. With his great hammer resting on his shoulder and his Miracle talisman in his left hand, he performed a brief prayer before his talisman suddenly emitted a divine light. Soon after, a lightning spear materialized from this bright light.

He threw it like a javelin, aiming straight for the titan's face. If it hit, the electricity would very briefly disorient the titan, allowing Eygon to use Morne's Rage. He would jump into the air and slam his great hammer down, causing a divine explosion.

The powerful shockwave would hit the titan and jostle the ship, hopefully pushing it off of its perch.

He would deal with Constanza later. He was too busy fighting.​

Danielle saw the chaos all around her and there was only one thing for her to do. "Anyone who can't fight go and take cover! Everyone else help evacuations and knock those monsters down a peg!" Lead.

Placing the shield on the ground Danielle leaped on it and took to the air

"No one's going to die on my watch!"​

Meanwhile Howlett popped his claws and spoke to Dorian.

"Ever toppled a giant before?"​

From high above Danielle could survey the entire battle area. Noticing that those fighting these giants were starting to have problems she'd turn her attention towards that mysterious shockwave and the shrieking trying to find the source. If she could nip this problem in the bud then they might have a chance to win this yet!

@Those Fighting the Titans​

In Dio's grey world, he was having the time of his life. The titans could do nothing to him, even when time was unfrozen. This was further proof of how unstoppable he was, with how effortlessly he was blowing through these hulking entities while whole groups of their party struggled to even kill one! "THE WORLD!" He screamed again, his voice full of gleeful bloodlust.

Time froze once more, as he proceeded to beat down the biggest Titan he could find. He began at the Torso and worked his way up, seeking to totally obliterate the upper part of his target in yet another show of power. "MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA-" His battlecry was cut short as time unfroze around him far earlier than it should have, and his ears were filled with a horrible wail. Now, the chest of the Titan exploded, but it simply began to regenerate. "What!?" His thought process was interrupted by the hand he barely saw coming in time to defend himself from. He still managed to hold it off, but, all of the sudden, he was put on the defensive. The World slowed down, and his flight stuttered. It was all he could do to defend himself and get some nowhere near as effective hits in now and then. "Impossible!" This wasn't good. He needed to find the source of the strange screeching sound. Dio ascended just out of the Titan's reach and surveyed the battlefield.

On the bright side, it seemed like these things were staying down when the nape of their neck was destroyed. Good to know.

Dio's gaze settled on Giorno. The only other stand user here, as far as he knew. Was he... Copying Dio's battlecry? How cute. He did seem to have killed one of the Titans, and was keeping civilians safe. Only one of those things mattered to Dio: the boy wasn't half bad. It was odd; Dio understood that stand users were drawn to each other by fate, buy there was something more here. Something stronger. The more he thought about it, the more he felt like he knew Giorno from somewhere. Could he have met him previously? No, this was a different type of familiarity. Like Giorno was very close to Dio, yet... Very far away. He would speak to the boy about it later. He did stare at him very conspicuously, though.

Huntress was fighting at the feet of one hairy Titan when she caught the others talking about a weak spot. Then she heard A2 with her noises of frustration. She fired her grapple line into one monster, swung around to pick up A2 on her way up.

"I am going to throw you to our left, grab ahold of that monster, while I attack this one on the right'.

When she reached her own target, she plunged the Stygian blade into it's neck. If it perished, dark shadows would encompase it's body, taking all of it to two Hades.

Was he ever meant to live peacefully? Maybe, maybe not. The life of a swordsman was oft perilous and ever-changing. Perhaps only he was able to determine what kind of life he left, and maybe that was something up to the mysterious force known as fate.

But whatever the case, it didn't matter. He did not have the tongue for faith, nor the room for fate. To hell with both.

Standing on his own two feet again, Shichika Yasuri, the lone head of the Kyoutouryuu School, stood firmly, yet in a hollow manner. His stance was strong, yet empty.

It was just like before.

Power without a soul. Strength without heart. Anger without passion.

Dashing from his position, propelling himself from the ground in a flash like a cheetah, Shichika ran steadfast towards one of the creatures known as "Titans," more notably one of the shorter ones that stood at around 10 feet or so, and ducked his head just as the creature took a swing at him in an attempt to grab him. With his pure physical strength, Shichika thrust his fist up right into the Titan's forearm and blew the limb right off, only to give pause when the monster's limb grew right back as though nothing had happened.

Then as Noembelu called out to the others, having found out their weaknesses, Shichika moved again, once again narrowly avoiding the Titan's counter as he swiftly dashed behind the monster, his kimono gracefully flowing in the wind like the thorniest of flowers and the most gentle of leaves, complemented by the firm, stiff power behind his fists as Shichika scaled the monster's back like a mountain and practically stabbed into the back of the Titan's neck with his bare hands, his strength allowing for him to dig right through like a drill, instantly killing it and causing it to fall down on its stomach with Shichika on top, standing victorious like a gladiatorial warrior who had felled the monster of the coliseum.

But it was far from over, as the one he had destroyed was little more than taking a handful of water out of the world's oceans, as more and more Titans appeared. This was clearly beyond anything he had faced before in all his travels, as far as conventional means went, but while dim Shichika might be, even he realized that there had to be another way to approaching this army than what seemed like the easiest. After all, for all the intelligence he lacked in the social department, he was a master combatant, else he would never have been able to acquire the Deviant Blades along with Togame back then.

And perhaps that was the important thing. He had someone with him to help him. He had someone to count on.

Maybe it was time again for him to trust another person again.

"Let's go," he simply said to the others in his general vicinity, gesturing towards the shrieking in the distance that the swordsman could only assume was the source of the mysterious shockwaves in the air, before dashing off to the source.

"..." People were all running towards some shockwave, huh? That must be what was causing all these titans to appear. Noembelu jumped off the dead one she killed and started after the source of the shrieks as well.

Birdie watched her go and rolled his eyes. That girl could never stay still. Whatever! Anyway, since he was here, may as well help, right? After all, leaving the fighting up to fate could spell the end.

"Oi! Anyone needs a lift, lemme know! I can throw you up on their neck!"

@Those Fighting the Titans

Ben definitely had the right idea... Though he did find it to be a bit tough to maneuver around the arena due to his sheer size in the form of the colossal creature, he posed a distinct threat to the creatures that had originally been ravaging the area.

Even the largest of these titans were easily toppled by "Way Big", and many sustained numerous injuries as a result of his attacks... and further devastated by the energy beams he began shooting towards them.

However, save for some of the creatures, who didn't seem to be showing any signs of movement after the trauma they received... Their bodies beginning to vaporise, numerous of the creatures that were struck were beginning to rise up... The injuries they sustained beginning to regenerate! Entire limbs that were lost were beginning to grow back... And even some of those that were decapitated were beginning to rise again in about a minute, lumbering towards "Way Big", not appearing to want to give up their result.

Those that made it close enough sunk their teeth into his body, seeming to be trying to chew on him. Perhaps it was because they still believed Ben's new form to be human?... Or maybe it was out of a basic instinct... But at any rate, this definitely wasn't going to feel good!

Eevie experienced a similar issue, and though their shadow balls did a number on the smaller titans... Some even being completely obliterated. There were those that were beginning to rise again, regenerating their lost limbs, and also beginning to lumber towards Eevie, lunging towards it as they snapped at them with their teeth.

On the other hand, aided by Sonic's homing attacks, A2 and Noembelu were able to topple even the larger titans in the mix... Causing them to slow their advance, before Sonic's homing attacks cut through muscles and tendons on their arms and legs, temporarily immobilizing a good few titans in the process.

However, just like Eevie and Ben experienced, these titans were regenerating their skin tissue as well... And in about a minute, they would be mobile again... And angry! The larger titans began to attempt to crush the trio with swings from their limbs, while the smaller one settled with lunging at them with their mouths wide open...

Last but not least... Dio, and Giorno was quite effective at obliterating the Titans he fought, regardless of his size... Largely thanks to his time stop ability, which seemed to work, for the time being. Though, as he racked up his kill count... An blood curdling shriek that seemed to pierce the very fabrics of space and time itself, followed by a crackling shockwave of energy coming towards him out of nowehre suddenly unfroze time for Dio.

Not only that, but both of them felt... Weaker... As if the shockwave had begun to drain their powers... That wasn't good.

Neither was the fact that "Way Big" had also been clipped by this blast, which would begin to cause him to shrink, slowly... It looks like this shockwave had somehow begun to revert him to human form!

What was originally going to be an easy victory for the hardest hitters in the group that had decided to fight, seemed to be turning sour rather quickly... But why?

Perhaps it was in their best interest to locate the source of these energy shockwaves, which shouldn't be hard, given that one just had to take a look in the direction of that shrieking from earlier...

As Shion (and possibly Eygon) observed the more "local" fighters... It seemed that they were capable of some incredible maneuvers, and strength, aided by their weapons, and an apparently innate power that granted them protection, and even some abilities...

However, what was noted was that no matter how much punishment the titans took... Only those who had sustained severe damage to a particular segment of their neck remained down, their bodies desitegrating into a thick smoke, starting with their skin and muscle tissue first...

Soon though, the two found their gaze drifting towards a particular team of four that were currently in a battle with two titans that looked to be around 15 meters tall, the larger of the bunch in the stadium, staving them off off as a group of civilians ran.

Amongst them, was a girl wearing black and red, wielding a ginormous scythe that was also a gun... Tearing away one of the creature's body as her teammates, but her efforts seemed futile... As its body, much like the others, continued to regenerate from their injuries injuries, even as it was pummeled by four fighters at once.

The scythe wielder eventually ceased her assault for a moment, seeming to be catching her breath as she looked intently towards the creature, as if trying to figure something out...

"It... Must have a weak spot somewhere!... I just... Know it!" She shouted to the rest of her team between breaths.

As one of the creatures began to lumber towards her though, one of her teammate's, with black and white garb, black hair, and a strange bow on her head seemed to freeze for a moment... Her eyes widening as she suddenly seemed to realize something.

Just then, without a word, she charged towards the creature that had been lumbering towards the young scythe wielder, causing her to cry out in protest.

"Blake! What are you doing?!" Called the scythe wielder.

But it seemed that Blake didn't hear her at all... Which seemed to confuse the scythe wielder further; looks like this wasn't normal Blake behavior, at all...

Instead, Blake appeared to launch herself into the air with the aid of what appeared to be some sort of pistol, dagger thing, attatched by a ribbon to a bigger weapon... Her eyes focusing on a distinct part of the titan's neck, narrowly avoiding a hand that the creature shot out in an attempt to grab her... Before she quickly lodged the smaller portion of her arsenal (that pistol dagger thing) into the back of the creature's head, using it to pull herself towards the titan's back, her other hand gripping a larger sword that was connected by that black ribbon as she suddenly slashed out the section that made up the nape of the creature's neck.

Unlike the damage it had sustained from other attacks... This one appeared to cause it to collapse to the ground for good, its body slowly beginning to evaporate, seeming to confirm this.

Blake landed rather calmly on the ground, seeming to nod a little at this sight; looks like either through some fluke... Or some other mysterious means, she had figured out a surefire way to defeat these creatures! Though the Blake, and her fellow scythe wielder's companions seemed to be occupied, with fighting off the other two titans, they would have hopefully taken notice of Blake's apparent discovery.

However, it appeared that something about the way Blake fought confused the scythe wielder, as she scratched her head, a puzzled look crossing her face as she spoke.

"Um... Blake? Why didn't you use your semblance?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.

"... Semblance?" Replied Blake, looking evidently confused.

"..." Welp, the scythe wielder was at an utter loss for words.

In fact, it seemed that Blake's apparent lack of knowledge on what a Semblance was had shocked her so badly, that she had sort of... Frozen up... Oh dear... Looks like that scythe wielder wasn't going to be announcing this newfound weakness anytime soon, unless someone snapped her out of it... Whiiich would hopefully be one of her teammates, once they deal with the other titan.

In the meantime, it would appear that the trio that had been searching around, and not too focused on the fighting eventually stumbled into a crashed airship that looked to be military by nature. Numerous androids, who seemed to be devoid of any power littered the ground... With the guns they had once been wielding strewn about the place.

It also seemed that there might be more weaponry to find inside the crashed ship itself, but... This would prove to be more difficult than just picking up the few weapons littered around the crash site, as one of these "titans", looking to be around 10 meters in height was currently latched onto the top of the ship.

In fact, it looked to have been the source of a screeching noise that had erupted in the midst of Dio and Giorno's killing spree... With dark, oozing patches dotting its flesh, and its eyes lacking irsises, emitting a strange... Red glow.

Looks like if they wanted to find any supplies within that ship, they would need to take down the creature currently latched onto it, one way or another...

In the meantime, Kara would soon locate a seemingly empty hall that happened to be a good place to change...

However, before she had time to change or anything, she ended up bumping into a woman who appeared to be fiddling with some sort of device... Fortunately though, she seemed a be too distracted to notice her, and Kara was free to change as she wished, buuut... If she were to steal a sideglance at the woman, she might notice an increasingly frustrated expression crossing her face; something was clearly bothering her...

There was not many places where towering beasts nor screaming civilians weren't cluttering the place... But fortunately, it seemed that the upper seating areas of the stadium were mostly safe... Juuust that there wasn't much in a way of an exit from there, so it was only good for so long, given that resources were a big lacking around here for an extended stay.

Fortunately, Shichika seemed to be safe where he was... For now, as none of the creatures were paying attention to him.

However, that unearthly screech that had radiated from the center of the stadium would still be pretty unnerving nonetheless... That and the stadium itself appeared to be a bit unstable now, which could likely be attributed to the additional weight it was now forced to keep airborne.​

"You think the Maniwa Corps are afraid of man-people?" he chuckled, appearing to be talkng to himself. He had dealt with many creatures in his long life, different opponents every time - and Houou never backed down. It looked like the structure the creature was latched onto would be worth exploring - and the ninja was not going to let anything get in his way.

He leapt up, abnormally high, as if he had wings on his back that took him to the air. He was called the Phoenix God for a reason, after all.

"Ninpou - Danzaien!"​

Hovering over one of the legs of the titan, Houou brought one - in comparison - thin arm down in a slashing moment. With his ninpou, his hand would act like a blade, delivering slices to the monster that stood in his way.

Even though he had made it to a higher level, rimmed with row after row of seats, Togame was nowhere to be seen. Getting more and more worried by the second, he called out her name a few more times, and felt the chill up his spine become stronger - like a vice grip - when there was no response. What if... Shichika turned to look towards the direction of the screech from the center of the facility, she had moved over there to find him? Shichika attracted danger, and he was a good fighter, she said that often...

His eyes lit up with concern, worry and fear. Please, God, no... he hoped she wasn't there, wasn't among that chaos, wasn't in the midst of the fight. With heavy thoughts in his mind, Shichika began heading in that direction.

It seemed that Howlett decided to take it out of their hands. "I'm going to go stab and slash it until it stops moving. Feel free to join in on the fun." He had made up his mind and charged the Titan with a animal like roar.

Getting up on the hull Howlett swiped at the Titan's legs to try and make it lose its balance. Without its mobility it would be far easier to find its weak point.

Dorian sighed. "Right, stabbing and slashing, couldn't have put it better myself." With his hand forced on the matter, Dorian raised his staff, conjuring a spell designed to put a temporary magical barrier over Howlett and Togame.

A2 took notice of Birdie's offer, the android giving him the affirmation as her body was just reaching the peak limits of her energy reserve output. She was this far to activating her "B-Mode," so why not use it's effects on the titans and their weak spots now? The holographic console projected to her side displayed and voiced out the progress of her B-Mode's activation.

However, A2 had just noticed as well that another was offering her a way up through the usage of a grapple. Taking that in mind, the android allowed herself to be thrown up to the nape of the titan that was aiming to harm her, and by then, "B-Mode" had activated.

[ Limiter Overloaded. Entering Berserk Mode. ]

A2 would be covered in a radiating red glow, almost like the overdrive of her systems was causing her to overheat by the looks of it. Almost in the appearance of a flaming demon, A2 relentlessly swung her hands at the back of the titan's neck, wishing to tear away at its skin and flesh until it would die from her efforts.

"C'MON YOU BIG PIECE OF SHIT! YOU BETTER DIE FROM THIS!!"

Upon exiting the Time Gate/Genesis Portal, Blaze began to plummet towards the arena in a free-fall, just as Sonic had. Unlike the blue hedgehog, however, Blaze instinctively righted her stance midair, and stuck the landing like a proper gymnast. Coming to stand, the pyrokinetic princess scanned her new surroundings, and contemplated a dark thought.

'Which is worse: a world that has already met its destruction, or a world on the brink of its destruction?'

Unadulterated chaos ensued all around while giant human men rained from the sky, and subsequently beset everyone Blaze had come through the portal with, along with plenty of entirely new faces. But the worst part of it all? Sonic was caught smack-dab in the middle of it all, undoubtedly after throwing caution to the wind.

Although she grunted and cursed the hedgehog's name under her breath, Blaze followed suit; dashing into the fray with palms lit ablaze against her own reasonable thought, just to save Sonic's hide.

Upon noticing the psychokinetic princess join him in the battle, Sonic just looked up at her and grinned.

"About time you showed up! For a sec I thought you were gonna miss the party!" Sonic mused, having to yell over all the action.

"Not when you risk your life by attending, hedgehog!" Blaze shot back, sounding a tad cross. She ran and ran and ran to rejoin Sonic's side, while eyeing up the enormous superhumans he had decided to butt heads with. Their sheer size worried her, despite having faced robots and piloted mechs of equal size many times in the past, but metal frames are clunky and slow. Would giant people be quicker? Perhaps...but not as quick as her, and especially not Sonic.

"How are we going to topple this thing?"

It only to Sonic a few moments of thought to formulate a plan of attack. Assuming that these things didn't have the ability to form cognitive thought or speech, Sonic just looked at Blaze and let his smirk disappear for a moment so he could explain his attack.

"Alright, you get up behind it and I'll spindash up to you, then you can kick me down into that things neck. Got it?"

Blaze blinked in surprise.

"If you don't mind becoming a living pinball...that sounds like a plan,"

On that note, Blaze prepared to speed off around the lumbering titan; bright sparks and crackling fires flaring up around her heels. "Cover my approach by drawing its attention!" she added before blasting away in a burst of flame, and headed towards the nearest wall.

"Gotcha!" Sonic said with a thumbs up before zipping off to distract the titan.

"Hey ya big loser! Come and get some!" Sonic yelled with a smug grin as he ran passed the large titan, allowing it to chase him like a game of cat and mouse.

Not wasting any time in checking whether or not Sonic had pulled off his part of the plan, Blaze took a running jump and clung to the wall upon hitting it, and scurried upwards along the face of the vertical surface.

Once Sonic saw this, he immediately turned around and spindashed around the beast and towards Blaze so the duo could initiate their attack.

Entirely focused, the princess glanced over her shoulder to find herself at shoulder height with the titan, and spotted Sonic at about the same level. Finding her opportunity to execute their plan, Blaze leapt off the wall to grasp it; elegantly bending her fire to become a burning tornado, and launch herself hurtling into a collision course with Sonic, like a flaming ballerina of doom!

In the single instant the two Mobians crossed paths, Blaze transferred her destructive flames into Sonic with a powerful kick, and shot him at the back of the titan's neck.

Kara was happy that she had found a seemingly empty hall that she could change into her costume... nothing could go wrong.
After Kara had thought this though, she managed to accidently bump into a women who was fiddling with... a tablet perhaps? Kara wasn't certain to what it was, but she seemed distracted enough that she could change- but she saw that the woman was bothered by something. Due to her nature of always wanting to help people, both inside and outside of her just being Supergirl, she approached the woman, after giving her a sideglance

" Is everything okay?" She asked.

Connor looked around and found the crashed airship and wondered if there was something that could help him in there. Maybe there was a weapon or something that he knew how to use. He looked at the androids littered on the ground and frowned, not certain what to make of that. That meant that something was there to hurt them and that worried him.
Perhaps he could find more weaponry inside of the ship, but it seemed that there was something on top of the ship that was not going to make that easy. It was one of the monsters the others has been fighting and it seemed to be even uglier than the ones he had seen the others fight, if that was even possible though.
When he heard the screeching noise, he quickly covered his ears to block out the noise. He really didn't want to die against one of these things, but that wasn't much of a choice. It seemed that the only way in was to destroy the thing in front of him.
He decided that his best course of action was to grab a gun that was outside and figure out how it worked and hoped that he had enough time to not be noticed by the beast.

From high above Danielle could survey the entire battle area. Noticing that those fighting these giants were starting to have problems she'd turn her attention towards that mysterious shockwave and the shrieking trying to find the source. If she could nip this problem in the bud then they might have a chance to win this yet!

In Dio's grey world, he was having the time of his life. The titans could do nothing to him, even when time was unfrozen. This was further proof of how unstoppable he was, with how effortlessly he was blowing through these hulking entities while whole groups of their party struggled to even kill one! "THE WORLD!" He screamed again, his voice full of gleeful bloodlust.

Time froze once more, as he proceeded to beat down the biggest Titan he could find. He began at the Torso and worked his way up, seeking to totally obliterate the upper part of his target in yet another show of power. "MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA-" His battlecry was cut short as time unfroze around him far earlier than it should have, and his ears were filled with a horrible wail. Now, the chest of the Titan exploded, but it simply began to regenerate. "What!?" His thought process was interrupted by the hand he barely saw coming in time to defend himself from. He still managed to hold it off, but, all of the sudden, he was put on the defensive. The World slowed down, and his flight stuttered. It was all he could do to defend himself and get some nowhere near as effective hits in now and then. "Impossible!" This wasn't good. He needed to find the source of the strange screeching sound. Dio ascended just out of the Titan's reach and surveyed the battlefield.

On the bright side, it seemed like these things were staying down when the nape of their neck was destroyed. Good to know.

Dio's gaze settled on Giorno. The only other stand user here, as far as he knew. Was he... Copying Dio's battlecry? How cute. He did seem to have killed one of the Titans, and was keeping civilians safe. Only one of those things mattered to Dio: the boy wasn't half bad. It was odd; Dio understood that stand users were drawn to each other by fate, buy there was something more here. Something stronger. The more he thought about it, the more he felt like he knew Giorno from somewhere. Could he have met him previously? No, this was a different type of familiarity. Like Giorno was very close to Dio, yet... Very far away. He would speak to the boy about it later. He did stare at him very conspicuously, though.

"A gun? Is that like a crossbow?" It had a trigger, so Dorian figured they worked similarly in some manner.

"Certainly there will be a fight if we continue to stand here and chat," Dorian said with a shrug toward Howlett. "But just one on their own doesn't seem quite so daunting, does it? No matter how much it screams... Giants I am familiar with have only one eye which conveniently served as a nice weak point to shoot for, but these don't seem much the same. Even so, perhaps shooting for their eyes would be best?"

He looked briefly at the two others in the area, hoping they knew how to handle themselves in a fight if it came down to it.

"Well, from the way you're talking, I'm guessing he's your first Pokemon, huh?" Rui mused cheerfully, briefly glancing to the Eevee. "Well, I'd be happy to help teach you! Wes, too... Even though he doesn't really seem like it," she added in a mutter, noting Ben's obvious discomfort. "But oh, he hasn't?" she replied, features briefly falling. "Aww... Well, I bet we could--"

And she didn't get the chance to finish. Thanks, portal thing.

"U-ugh..." she muttered, rubbing her head at the rough landing as she climbed to her feet, looking around with a groan. To her left, Wes was already upright, a rather sadistic grin on his face. Oh, gosh. This couldn't be good. "Wes...? What're you...--"

"Solis? Orpheus? Let's go," he uttered, tossing two of his Pokeballs as he did so, voice filled with a dark, sinister glee. In a flash of red light, his two lifelong companions were unleashed, letting out mighty calls as the Espeon and Umbreon looked to their trainer, ready to do whatever he wished. And with nothing but a look that more or less said 'you know what to do' from the male and a nod of encouragement, the pair leapt into action.

Blasts of pure psychic energy were launched at the opposing Grimm by the Espeon, it's eyes lighting up as it fired off barrages of Psychic and Confusion at the savage creatures. All the while, her counterpart, Umbreon, dashed about in Quick Attacks and unleashed darkness with Feint Attacks.

It was game time... But unfortunately, his glee was interrupted by a sudden exclamation, causing him to lose his smirk as he glanced over his shoulder through the corner of his golden eyes.

"Wes, look out--!"

And suddenly, the smirk was back as Wes whirled around in an instant, narrowly and nimbly dodging a swing from one of the Titans. "Lose somethin', shit-for-brains?" he inquired rhetorically, before swinging up his leg, slamming his boot harshly into the thing's stomach. He wasn't able to do much of a dent to it, being a normal human, but he'd been in plentys of fights with boys three times his size growing up around the Snagem goons, and he could at the very least hold his own. But he was slightly surprised to see Yoichi and Ben doing the same.

"...Not bad for a couple a' kids," he muttered.

A2 gritted her teeth as she was just mere inches away from being smacked away by the frailing legs of the titans nearest to her. What replaced her presence was a brief flash of red, in the shape of the android... an evasive maneuver in the form of a holographic afterimage. Reappearing once her cloaking functions had gone off from this evasive maneuver, the android didn't waste a second as she circled around the now aggravated titans, sprinting around as fast as she could without burning out her energy reserves.

"... got it."

Overhearing the possible weakness on these threats, A2 was aware that it was impossible for her to climb up to their necks. If only she had a flight unit, but there was no way she was going to hijack YoRHa equipment any time soon. Surely someone here would be able to give her the aerial boost, but if not...

"Guess I have to burn up some energy if I'm going to get up there... time to bust out B-Mode."

Having her weapons disappear, A2 stood in place as a red glow began to show around her. The console system within her voiced out the function she was going to uncover.

"A-Ack... I swear, if no one's gonna give me a boost up there, then I'm... going to... do it MYSELF!!"

A2 yelled over to the others that were also fighting, the red glow of what was practically her internal systems steadily increasing in activity radiated brighter and brighter. So it was up to the others if they wanted to give her the assist or let her do her thing.

"A gun? Is that like a crossbow?" It had a trigger, so Dorian figured they worked similarly in some manner.

"Certainly there will be a fight if we continue to stand here and chat," Dorian said with a shrug toward Howlett. "But just one on their own doesn't seem quite so daunting, does it? No matter how much it screams... Giants I am familiar with have only one eye which conveniently served as a nice weak point to shoot for, but these don't seem much the same. Even so, perhaps shooting for their eyes would be best?"

He looked briefly at the two others in the area, hoping they knew how to handle themselves in a fight if it came down to it.

"Tch.." one of the four females vigorously fighting against the two titans uttered, gritting her teeth as she briefly took slightly uneven breaths, doing her best to keep up their onslaught. But after a few moments, she shook her head, turning and calling to her team as she regained her composure. "This isn't working! We need to figure something out, fast!" As though to accentuate this fact, the moment that she spoke this, she received a harsh blow to the side, nearly causing her to double over. But with the help of her seeming regenerative abilities that it appeared they all possessed, she managed to leap back, prepping to launch off another attack by the time the scythe-wielder called out.
"If you have any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them!" she remarked, charging forth with grace and practiced precision, rapier poised to impale the beast. Which, she did; right through the stomach. But as she drew her weapon back, she was surprised to see it rapidly healing, that much showing on her expression as it took a swing at her, forcing her to jump back to dodge, placing a hand down as she skidded back to stop herself. She looked up after a moment, though, just getting ready to prepare to attempt another strike when she heard her leader call out and spotted the reason why. It appeared that their Faunus friend had decided to take matters into her own hands. But before the heiress could tell the other to be careful, she was surprised to witness a slash to the neck taking the thing down.
There it was. The opening they'd been looking for. With a newfound smirk, birthed from the knowledge that the things could be defeated so easily, the female got to her feet and readied herself to attack their final foe. But conversation between her teammates caused her to pause, her eyes going wide before narrowing as she called out.

"Ruby, you idiot, look out!" the white-haired female exclaimed, pausing in her own intended assault on the remaining creature when she noticed her teammate being charged by said monster, looking to be completely frozen in place. Damn it, out of all the times to get like this, of course this was when it had happened. Running as fast as her legs would take her, she skidded to a stop right between her team leader and the Titan, Myrtenaster aimed and at the ready as she called over her shoulder. "Now move!"

Alexandra Kalomoira aka Huntress

Huntress was fighting at the feet of one hairy Titan when she caught the others talking about a weak spot. Then she heard A2 with her noises of frustration. She fired her grapple line into one monster, swung around to pick up A2 on her way up.

"I am going to throw you to our left, grab ahold of that monster, while I attack this one on the right'.

When she reached her own target, she plunged the Stygian blade into it's neck. If it perished, dark shadows would encompase it's body, taking all of it to two Hades.

It seemed that Howlett decided to take it out of their hands. "I'm going to go stab and slash it until it stops moving. Feel free to join in on the fun." He had made up his mind and charged the Titan with a animal like roar.

Getting up on the hull Howlett swiped at the Titan's legs to try and make it lose its balance. Without its mobility it would be far easier to find its weak point.​

Shion watched the battle with interest, and was glad that a weakpoint had been spotted, he just had to relay the message. He glanced around before waving down the first person he saw, which was JD who was fending off a 3 meter.

He pointed to the downed Titans nape. It took Jd a moment before he caught on and nodded before pulling out his gun and fired into the creatures nape before dashing off towards Ben and the other's to relay the message, hoping what he did was enough for now.



"Hey! They're weakpoint is the nape!" JD exclaimed, pointing to the back of his neck.

"Cut them there and they're down for good." he called.

"S-shit! What the hell are these things?" Mista exclaimed, watching in horror as the giants regenerated all of their wounds. Up until this point, he had mostly been trying to lay low, unsure of how he could help with his skillset. Eventually, however, he began to notice a certain pattern with the monsters' regeneration.
So they don't regenerate if you get 'em in the back of the neck? Looks like I will be able to help out after all!
"Sex Pistols, its go time! The weakness is the back of the neck!"
Mista fired two shots from his revolver in quick succession, aiming at one of the nearby smaller monsters. As they flew through the air, a cry could be heard, seemingly coming from the bullets themselves.
"YEEEEEEEHAWWWW!"

As the bullets sped by, those with good eyesight might have been able to notice a strange creature riding each one, apparently the source of the yell. Those creatures were Mista's Stand, which he called "Sex Pistols".
The bullets would seemingly miss their target, flying past the beast's head. However, once behind it, the bullets would suddenly change direction as the Sex Pistols kicked them straight into the back of the monster's neck.

"Alright, they're mad, they're mad!" Way Big exclaims, still feeling it was a little hard to move. The little Titans tried to gnaw on his fine red cosmic metal footwear and his thick, tough white hide.

"Hey, that hurts!" Way Big says as he plucked a couple of chewing titans up from his leg with his hands. That was when he saw JD and heard the delivered message. "The nape? Thanks JD! Alright everyone, aim for the nape!"

With that, Way Big picked up some of the Titans that were surrounding Wes, Rui, Buddy and their Pokemon, preparing to eat them, tossing them into the air before he used the cosmic metal blades on his arms to slice their napes as they fell to the ground.

"Hey, pipsqueak, my partner's friend, not food, you hear?" Way Big threatens one of the aforementioned Titans. "Buddy, Wes, Rui, you OK?" Way Big asks.

"Skree-ee-ee!" Buddy exclaims in response as he follows Solis and Orpheus' extrasensoric, dark assault with Trump Card once more, launching card-like projectiles from its mane this time aiming to slice through the Titan's necks and shoot through them to aim at their napes. Just a while ago, Buddy was frightened by the beasts baring their fangs, until Wes stepped in and Way Big picked them up.

"I don't know what kind of mobile game this is, but I'd take this over rolling the gacha!" Way Big joked as he plucks Titans from the ground, tosses them into the air, then slices their napes with his armblades as they fell. He did all this while spinning about in one position.

Looking at the Titans attached to his feet and attempting to gnaw on him, he sighs and tries to scratch them off by rubbing both of his metal-coated feet together, the same way someone would rub their shoes together to rid of the Titans on them.

"This better not have any effect on the shoes I'm wearing as good old me," Way Big drops a comment as he shakes his head. Just then, Way Big felt as if he was shrinking as his Omnitrix flashed between green and red and produced a beeping noise. From his perspective, the environment and more importantly, the Titans, were growing.

"Not good! Not good! Not good!" Way Big bellows. "These guys are getting bigger! Or am I the one getting smaller?"

As he shrank, it became easier for Way Big to move in the arena.

"Hey, maybe this ain't so bad after all!" Way Big says, before slugging full-speed punches and kicks at the still-shorter Titans, right in their faces! "Now this is more like it!"​

This was all incredibly sudden, being tossed into this world. Chaos had erupted, and Rosa was watching. She watched as crowds spread out, running away from the titans. She looked at the group she was with, helping fight the titans and defend the running crowds. These could have been her own people. Her kingdom could have been attacked.

She had to do something, not just as a White Mage, but as the queen of Baron.

Rosa raised her staff. She faced the group fighting the titans and cast Protect and Haste. This would hopefully help protect the fighters from physical attack as well as speed them up, if only slightly. She then Ran to help defend civilians, whatever that entailed. If someone required healing, she would heal.

It happened again.

Shichika's body shook with disbelief as Togame disappeared from his life once again. The hole in his soul felt deeper than ever, and this sort of pain was often never something that could easily be healed. The swordsman had never been particularly articulate when it came to expressing himself in thoughts, let alone words, but the general sentiment was there.

He remembered back then, when he had been hurt so badly, as though something inside him broke that could never be fixed, with the scar on his face that never faded being a constant reminder of that pain he had to burden. It really was like a trip back to the past. Shichika's legs felt weak, and he sank to his knees onto the ground, not caring for the chaos that transpired around him as he fell, his body shaking. Rarely did he ever look and feel as vulnerable as he did in this moment; a "sword" like him was never meant to be broken, especially not the final Deviant Blade, but then, what even his father never realized was that in the end, Shichika Yasuri was not only a sword.

He was, at heart, still human.

But while this pain was his curse to bear, it was also something that only he had the right to have.

"... Togame."

It felt like the first time he had lost her as well. She had meant for that time to be liberating for Shichika, wishing for him to no longer be bound to the shackles of being a sword to wield, wishing for him to be free to live his own life as a man.

But perhaps things like those were never meant to happen. Ultimately, perhaps he was right to storm that castle that night, and it was only a fluke that he had managed to destroy everything and everyone, that he failed at the one objective he had sought out for himself; to die. When he failed to die, he resolved to keep living and see how that turned out, as she would have wanted.

Was he ever meant to live peacefully? Maybe, maybe not. The life of a swordsman was oft perilous and ever-changing. Perhaps only he was able to determine what kind of life he left, and maybe that was something up to the mysterious force known as fate.

But whatever the case, it didn't matter. He did not have the tongue for faith, nor the room for fate. To hell with both.

Standing on his own two feet again, Shichika Yasuri, the lone head of the Kyoutouryuu School, stood firmly, yet in a hollow manner. His stance was strong, yet empty.

It was just like before.

Power without a soul. Strength without heart. Anger without passion.

Dashing from his position, propelling himself from the ground in a flash like a cheetah, Shichika ran steadfast towards one of the creatures known as "Titans," more notably one of the shorter ones that stood at around 10 feet or so, and ducked his head just as the creature took a swing at him in an attempt to grab him. With his pure physical strength, Shichika thrust his fist up right into the Titan's forearm and blew the limb right off, only to give pause when the monster's limb grew right back as though nothing had happened.

Then as Noembelu called out to the others, having found out their weaknesses, Shichika moved again, once again narrowly avoiding the Titan's counter as he swiftly dashed behind the monster, his kimono gracefully flowing in the wind like the thorniest of flowers and the most gentle of leaves, complemented by the firm, stiff power behind his fists as Shichika scaled the monster's back like a mountain and practically stabbed into the back of the Titan's neck with his bare hands, his strength allowing for him to dig right through like a drill, instantly killing it and causing it to fall down on its stomach with Shichika on top, standing victorious like a gladiatorial warrior who had felled the monster of the coliseum.

But it was far from over, as the one he had destroyed was little more than taking a handful of water out of the world's oceans, as more and more Titans appeared. This was clearly beyond anything he had faced before in all his travels, as far as conventional means went, but while dim Shichika might be, even he realized that there had to be another way to approaching this army than what seemed like the easiest. After all, for all the intelligence he lacked in the social department, he was a master combatant, else he would never have been able to acquire the Deviant Blades along with Togame back then.

And perhaps that was the important thing. He had someone with him to help him. He had someone to count on.

Maybe it was time again for him to trust another person again.

"Let's go," he simply said to the others in his general vicinity, gesturing towards the shrieking in the distance that the swordsman could only assume was the source of the mysterious shockwaves in the air, before dashing off to the source.

All of these otherworldly events caused Eygon to observe in awe. He wasn't sure what to do. This place was the definition of unfamiliar territory.​

After absorbing information from his surroundings and his allies' chatter, he knew what must be done. He ran toward the crashed ship and engaged the unusual-looking titan. Despite his heavy gear, he looked largely unaffected by it as he ran. With his great hammer resting on his shoulder and his Miracle talisman in his left hand, he performed a brief prayer before his talisman suddenly emitted a divine light. Soon after, a lightning spear formed from this bright light, and he held it in his left hand, letting it grow to its full potential.

He threw it like a javelin, aiming straight for the titan's face. If it hit, the electricity would very briefly disorient the titan, allowing Eygon to use Morne's Rage. He jumped into the air and slammed his great hammer down, causing a divine explosion.

The powerful shockwave would slam into the titan and jostle the ship, hopefully pushing it off of its perch.

"..." People were all running towards some shockwave, huh? That must be what was causing all these titans to appear. Noembelu jumped off the dead one she killed and started after the source of the shrieks as well.

Birdie watched her go and rolled his eyes. That girl could never stay still. Whatever! Anyway, since he was here, may as well help, right? After all, leaving the fighting up to fate could spell the end.

"Oi! Anyone needs a lift, lemme know! I can throw you up on their neck!"

"You think the Maniwa Corps are afraid of man-people?" he chuckled, appearing to be talkng to himself. He had dealt with many creatures in his long life, different opponents every time - and Houou never backed down. It looked like the structure the creature was latched onto would be worth exploring - and the ninja was not going to let anything get in his way.

He leapt up, abnormally high, as if he had wings on his back that took him to the air. He was called the Phoenix God for a reason, after all.

"Ninpou - Danzaien!"​

Hovering over one of the legs of the titan, Houou brought one - in comparison - thin arm down in a slashing moment. With his ninpou, his hand would act like a blade, delivering slices to the monster that stood in his way.

Even though he had made it to a higher level, rimmed with row after row of seats, Togame was nowhere to be seen. Getting more and more worried by the second, he called out her name a few more times, and felt the chill up his spine become stronger - like a vice grip - when there was no response. What if... Shichika turned to look towards the direction of the screech from the center of the facility, she had moved over there to find him? Shichika attracted danger, and he was a good fighter, she said that often...

His eyes lit up with concern, worry and fear. Please, God, no... he hoped she wasn't there, wasn't among that chaos, wasn't in the midst of the fight. With heavy thoughts in his mind, Shichika began heading in that direction.

Before Dorian could say anything on the matter, both Howlett and the other member of their group was taking the offensive on the lone giant.

"I..."

Dorian sighed. "Right, stabbing and slashing, couldn't have put it better myself." With his hand forced on the matter, Dorian raised his staff, conjuring a spell designed to put a temporary magical barrier over Howlett and Togame.

"Yeah, that would be useful... I'm just about ready to be launched over to those freaks..."

A2 took notice of Birdie's offer, the android giving him the affirmation as her body was just reaching the peak limits of her energy reserve output. She was this far to activating her "B-Mode," so why not use it's effects on the titans and their weak spots now? The holographic console projected to her side displayed and voiced out the progress of her B-Mode's activation.

However, A2 had just noticed as well that another was offering her a way up through the usage of a grapple. Taking that in mind, the android allowed herself to be thrown up to the nape of the titan that was aiming to harm her, and by then, "B-Mode" had activated.

[ Limiter Overloaded. Entering Berserk Mode. ]

A2 would be covered in a radiating red glow, almost like the overdrive of her systems was causing her to overheat by the looks of it. Almost in the appearance of a flaming demon, A2 relentlessly swung her hands at the back of the titan's neck, wishing to tear away at its skin and flesh until it would die from her efforts.

"C'MON YOU BIG PIECE OF SHIT! YOU BETTER DIE FROM THIS!!"

Upon exiting the Time Gate/Genesis Portal, Blaze began to plummet towards the arena in a free-fall, just as Sonic had. Unlike the blue hedgehog, however, Blaze instinctively righted her stance midair, and stuck the landing like a proper gymnast. Coming to stand, the pyrokinetic princess scanned her new surroundings, and contemplated a dark thought.
'Which is worse: a world that has already met its destruction, or a world on the brink of its destruction?'
Unadulterated chaos ensued all around while giant human men rained from the sky, and subsequently beset everyone Blaze had come through the portal with, along with plenty of entirely new faces. But the worst part of it all? Sonic was caught smack-dab in the middle of it all, undoubtedly after throwing caution to the wind.
Although she grunted and cursed the hedgehog's name under her breath, Blaze followed suit; dashing into the fray with palms lit ablaze against her own reasonable thought, just to save Sonic's hide.
Upon noticing the psychokinetic princess join him in the battle, Sonic just looked up at her and grinned.

"About time you showed up! For a sec I thought you were gonna miss the party!" Sonic mused, having to yell over all the action.
"Not when you risk your life by attending, hedgehog!" Blaze shot back, sounding a tad cross. She ran and ran and ran to rejoin Sonic's side, while eyeing up the enormous superhumans he had decided to butt heads with. Their sheer size worried her, despite having faced robots and piloted mechs of equal size many times in the past, but metal frames are clunky and slow. Would giant people be quicker? Perhaps...but not as quick as her, and especially not Sonic.
"How are we going to topple this thing?"
It only to Sonic a few moments of thought to formulate a plan of attack. Assuming that these things didn't have the ability to form cognitive thought or speech, Sonic just looked at Blaze and let his smirk disappear for a moment so he could explain his attack.

"Alright, you get up behind it and I'll spindash up to you, then you can kick me down into that things neck. Got it?"
Blaze blinked in surprise.

"If you don't mind becoming a living pinball...that sounds like a plan,"
On that note, Blaze prepared to speed off around the lumbering titan; bright sparks and crackling fires flaring up around her heels. "Cover my approach by drawing its attention!" she added before blasting away in a burst of flame, and headed towards the nearest wall.

"Gotcha!" Sonic said with a thumbs up before zipping off to distract the titan.

"Hey ya big loser! Come and get some!" Sonic yelled with a smug grin as he ran passed the large titan, allowing it to chase him like a game of cat and mouse.
Not wasting any time in checking whether or not Sonic had pulled off his part of the plan, Blaze took a running jump and clung to the wall upon hitting it, and scurried upwards along the face of the vertical surface.
Once Sonic saw this, he immediately turned around and spindashed around the beast and towards Blaze so the duo could initiate their attack.
Entirely focused, the princess glanced over her shoulder to find herself at shoulder height with the titan, and spotted Sonic at about the same level. Finding her opportunity to execute their plan, Blaze leapt off the wall to grasp it; elegantly bending her fire to become a burning tornado, and launch herself hurtling into a collision course with Sonic, like a flaming ballerina of doom!
In the single instant the two Mobians crossed paths, Blaze transferred her destructive flames into Sonic with a powerful kick, and shot him at the back of the titan's neck.

Once their weakness was identified, the battle had become much easier; though Noembelu had to apply a little extra force with her hatchets... She was soon able to slice out the nape of the titan's neck, causing it to collapse to the ground... For good... Before she made her way to the crashed airship...

As the battle raged on, numerous titans fell thanks to the efforts of Mista and his sex pistols, which obliterated the napes of their necks, downing those that they hit permanently... Which in tandem with Way Big's destructive power (even though he had begun to shrink a little) was doing quite the number on the titans that had one been terrorizing the civilians...

Helped along by Rosa's haste and protect spells, it would seem that Wes's pokemon, Espeon's psi-beam was able to obliterate the nape of the titan's neck... While Umbreon seemed to be fending off the few titans that were able to attempt to reach out towards those he was trying to protect, as well as the collavorative efforts of Birdy and the Huntress, who both gave A2 a lift, allowing her to become airborne, and tear away at the napes of the titan's necks that she was fung towards.

Sonic's own attacks, made with the help of Blaze only seemed to accelerate the annihilation of the titans; it seemed that at least for the moment... The hunters had become the hunted.

In fact, all throughout the battlefield, it seemed that word of the titan's weakness was spreading like wildfire, and the other fighters were quickly eliminating the titans with ease...

Though it looks like there was still titans clustered around the exits at the moment... But, it would be a relatively simple matter to draw them out... Right?

Also, as a sidenote, Sidon, who had been cheering the fighters on heard the distinct sound of giant footsteps as a 5 meter tall titan began lumbering towards him... Drawn by the sound of his voice, as it dove towards him, mouth wide open, intending to gobble him whole!

In the meantime... Seisa was experiencing a different problem; that shockwave that had come from somewhere in the cneter of the stadium appeared to be unaffected by her ability!... Whatever it was... Seemed to follow its own rules... Or perhaps her powers just were not strong enough to interfere with it here...

On the other hand... If she could eliminate the source of that shockwave, perhaps this little problem could be lifted? For now... At least.

JD's bullets alone did not seem to finish off the titan, even though they did hit the nape of it's neck, but what he glimpsed just before its collapsed form disappeared from his field of view was one of the numerous fighters slicing out the nape of it's neck, which seemed to finish it off.

Perhaps the nape needed to be either cut out or just completely obliterated for the titan to stay down?

As those who followed the source of the shockwave, and the screeching from earlier, quickly found themselves joining the group at the crashed airship. Evidently, the screeching had come from a rather sizeable titan clinging to its hull... One that displayed some bizarre traits; a black oozing substance was present in numerous places on its skin, and its eyes were without irises, emitting a red glow... But it seemed relatively inactive for the time being...

That was, until Connor's attempts at figuring out how the gun worked (which functioned not unlike your average gun, in the sense that you pull the trigger to fire it), caused it to fire an reddish bullet made up of energy into the air... Which detonated after making it some distance upwards... It seemed that the weapons were loaded with an explosive type of ammunition.

However, this seemed to draw the titan on the hull's attention, but yet... It did not quite move, until James' claws tore into it's legs, that indeed caused it to lose its grip on the hull and tumble to the ground below, but the battle wasn't over yet! It seemed that this titan was able to regenerate considerably faster than the others... Even as it was pummeled by the group that had gathered around it, dealing heavy damage. In mere seconds, it was up on its feet... Unleashing another blood curdling screech, accompanied by another shockwave..

Fortunately, it was just then that Dorian's barrier kicked in, which protected James and Houhou from its power draining effects... But as a result, it seemed that Dorian's staff was beginning to weaken. Dio and Giorno who were in close proximity of this blast felt their powers begin to drain at a slightly more accellerated rate... The titan then began to charge towards the group in front of it, with quick... Erratic movements, intending crush them... With either its feet, or wild swings from its limbs... However, it seemed a little clumsy, having been temporarily blinded by Eygon's attack, which appeared to have made it less accurate in battle...

It looks like it would be for the best to finish the creature off as quick as possible, before it had time to recover, and unleash another shockwave, and make things more difficult... Buuut, on the other hand... The airship appeared to be left unguarded for now, as the creature that had been perched ontop of it was quite distracted.

"H-Huh?-... Oh! Right!" Ruby yelped, snapping out of her moment of shock.

She still wasn't quite sure what was going on with Blake, but it was apparent that she remembered the severity of the situation... And thus, she turned to face the titan in front of them, along with Blake, who seemed to be deep in thought about something.

"Okay! We can do this! We just have to destroy the nape of its neck!" She called towards her team.

All they needed was a little teamwork... And thus... With Blake still behaving a bit oddly (despite having apparently remembered to use her semblance) and all... They managed to take out the second titan!

However, it would seem that both Blake and Ruby's attention was suddenly drawn by a freakish looking titan in the middle of the stadium, that had just let loose a shockwave of energy... Accompanied by a shrill screeching noise.

"... We should help them..." Blake said, seeming to have taken the words right out of Ruby's mouth.

... Yeah... Ruby was beginning to wonder if her friend had been kidnapped and replaced by a different person or something absurd like that, but... She nodded, for the time being, deciding to focus on the threat at hand... Her questions can wait, for now... Looks like both Ruby and Blake were ready to help out those at the crashed airship once the rest of her team was ready as well...

She looked a little startled, but wasn't so keen on showing it... Instead, she put away her device rather quickly once she realized she had company, looking up towards Kara.

"Fine..." She muttered.

But she seemed far from fine... In fact, she looked quite on edge, like she was having a bad day or something... Which was understandable, considering the titan situation, but oddly enough, she wasn't exactly fleeing the situation... Nor was she helping with the fight.

In the meantime, Selena, as a passive observer... Seemed to notice the battle with the titans going in the favor of those fighting them! Apparently the information about their weakness was quick to turn the tides in the battle... However, there was still one, distinct threat amidst them.

A freakish looking titan near a crashed airship was currently locked in battle with many of those that had been brought here... And seemed to have some sort if inherrant ability to drain powers. To make matters worse, its regenerative abilities seemed to take merely seconds to recover its injuries, and its movements were quick... Erratic, and near unpredictable.

However, if they were able to take that creature down... It looks like the battle in the stadium might just be won...​

Remember when Clemont said "anything to further scientific knowledge"? The alien watch that brunette boy had was one thing. He was deeply interested in that device, even if he didn't have the foggiest idea what they were supposed to be. He'd have to ask more questions later. But that was the kind of scientific knowledge he was talking about. Sure, the portal was interesting, but it was dormant--Nothing to study with that, right?

...Or so he'd thought.

Before he could blink, Clemont once again found himself falling...Or, more accurately, being pulled.

Round 1:
Attack on Vale

Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock...

That ticking sound seemed to go on forever and ever, droning on in the background of countless conversations and interactions going on in the general area, until suddenly, there was a distinct "click", as the ticking stopped.

Then, there was silence, as both the portal and the pendant Azuma still had on her suddenly shone in unison, before a distinct ringing sounded from up above... Serene... Peacefull, like it was meant to usher in a new era or something.

Finally, Azuma's pendant suddenly found its way out of her grasp, and floated through the air, headed straight for the strange, circular formation... The "Time Gate", as that message on the billboard had called it, and at long last, the two united, causing the circular formation to expand outward, opening up a mysterious tear through space and time.

In fact, it looked alot like the one that had brought them here... Complete with a mysterious blue electricity crackling around it and everything, except, it appeared to be a bit more benign.

That is... Until it started to pull everyone in the area towards it, and in no time, everybody, along with their belongings and what have to had been sucked into the portal, tumbling around through an endless expanse of nothingness once more, as they were sent hurtling through the various fabrics of space and time.

Before the Arrival...

Amity Colloseum, Vale

It was a good way through the Vytal festival now, and the selection process had just begun;on the screens overhead, various pictures of various participants were being cycled through rapidly... Until they settled upon two distinct names.

"Yang Xiao Long and Mercury Black!" Called Peter Port, who juuuust so happened to be one of the announcers.

"Break a leg, sis!" Interjected a faint voice from somewhere in the crowd.

However, anyone who knew that voice, would instantly recognize who it was; Ruby Rose, calling out words of encouragement as her sister, Yang Xiao Long herself went off to join her opponent in the center of the arena.

"Would all other combatants please leave the stage!" Port added over the announcements.

While somewhere in the crowds, a mysterious woman, with orange eyes, and long, flowing black hair stood up from her seat... And while the crowd's attention was focused on Yang and Mercury, stepped through a door out of view... That couldn't be good, could it?

And with that, those who had still been left in the arena began to file out, minus Yang and Mercury of course, who each respectively squared each other down, preparing for the fight ahead...

However, unfortunately, or perhaps... Fortunately, the fight never had the chance to occur, as it was interrupted by a loud rumbling noise, which was soon followed by a rather distinct shaking coming from the stadium...

Ripples seemed to occur in the sky itself, as many began to take notice and look upwards... Just in time to see numerous ginormous creatures, looking humanoid in nature suddenly appearing out of nowhere, plumetting downwards towards the stadium. The only thing preventing them from crashing right into the audience below them were its shields, that were beginning to fluctuate violently under their weight, as creature after creature slammed into them...

A siren began to blare, as these creatures slowly began to get up onto their feet from ontop the stadium, their horrid eyes looking down on the crowd below... With an intense look of hunger in their faces.

Hunger for human flesh...

Panic was already setting in, as the crowds below began to rush to safety, along with the two combatants who had been prepared to fight each other just a few moments ago, as a siren began to blare throughout the stadium, accompanied by some sort of autonomous announcement...

"Alert. Incoming Grimm attack. Threat level: Nine. Please seek shelter in a calm and orderly manner."


Unfortunately, it didn't seem like anyone was heeding it, as they all got up, most attempting to make their way through to any and all exits, while others were scrambling for weapons... Or their scroll devices... As the creatures above them pounded at the shielding above them, and considering the cracks already beginning to form in it... It was only a matter of time before they would break through, and fall into the stadium below.

Yet, as inevitable as it was that the shielding would fall... No-one could have expected what happened next.

An Atlas airship that had been patrolling the skies suddenly flailed out of control, suddenly seeming to have lost control. Though as it drew closer, it became frighteningly obvious why; one of those ginormous creatures had latched itself onto it, and somehow, seemed to have caused the ship to lose power!

Unlike the others, it's skin seemed to be covered in dark, oozing patches, with its devoid of any presense of irises, and even emitting a strange, red... Glow... However, before any other details could have been made out by the crowd below... The ship it had disabled crashed right through the barrier, causing the entire thing to shatter, and as the ship crashed into the center of the stadium, with its uninvited occupant still clinging onto it, as if it was the only thing that mattered to that creature... The others that had been pounding away at the barrier fell through with the ship, down into the stadium below.

The Arrival

By the time the group was brought to the floating stadium, by a mysterious blue portal, just like the one that had dumped them into the void earlier, the scene had turned ugly indeed... Like last time, the portal closed before anyone could find their way back to it, and it also seemed that two things were missing.

If Azuma were to check herself, she would discover that the pendant she had been holding onto had disappeared, and ontop of that, Togame had never come out of the portal, which likely meant that she had been somehow lost during their transportation from one dimension to another.

Right now though, there was very little time to take in these things, as more pressing matters were at hand; towering beasts were ravaging the general populace... And whatever event might have been going on in this stadium looked to have been interrupted by what was apparently an unexpected incursion from these creatures.

It seemed that it would be a good idea to take action in one way or another, and from a quick look around the area, there were a few ways to do this:

1) Find a safe place amongst the stadium to wait this out, as it seems that any potential exits as of right now were blocked by both fleeing civilians, and towering creatures.

2) There seemed to be a good number of people attempting to fight these creatures in order to protect and evacuate the numerous civilians that seemed to litter the area. Considering that they were holding a rather wide variety of weapons, freshly retrieved from rocket propelled lockers that they seemed to have called towards them... Perhaps it would be in ones best interest to join them?

3) Of course... One could always just try and keep a low profile in order to attempt to avoid these creatures, which were currently focused on either those trying to fight them, or the civilians fleeing... And investigate points of interest in the area... Perhaps they'd find something usefull?

"Woah, woah, woah, about time," Ben said as he felt a little giddy.

"Skree-ee-ee..." Buddy too, felt the same way.

Just then, Ben saw the great humanoid behemoths before him.

"Huh. I guess someone had some pretty bad wardrobe issues, and I don't think it had anything to do with a talking lion."

"Skree-ee-ee?"

"No Buddy, I don't read the books- woah!"

One of the behemoths was about to grab Ben using a collosal palm, before Buddy released 52 card-like objects at them. If one were to look, all of them looked like Joker cards! Clemont, Wes and Rui will be able to recognise the attack as Trump Card. Trump Card successfully sliced the arm off, releasing smoke from the stump.

"Thanks, Buddy. Well, these guys are pretty big," Ben comments, "but are they..."

Ben dials the Omnitrix, allowing transformation to occur. His body turned a little whiter as red metal parts armoured some areas. A fin-like organ grew on his head, before he started to grow... and grow... and grow... and grow...

"WAY BIG!" the titanic, humongous being that took Ben's place, proclaiming itself as 'Way Big', appeared. This humongous being appeared to be more than three times the height of the average 15-metre collosus that roamed the place.

Way Big lifted one of the humanoid behemoths off the ground, spun it about, then tossed it at another horde of similiar behemoths. He kicks the behemoths away, right in the faces, clobbering their noses with his cosmic metal shoes.

"Anyone need a lift up?" Way Big asks, preparing to lower his hand to his puny allies so that he can put them on his shoulder.

Buddy, meanwhile, decided to stay low and shot an odd, star-shaped projectile into the sky that spun in a spiral. Clemont, Wes and Rui may recognise this move as Wish.

"Skree-ee-ee?" Buddy looks at Wes, wondering what could be done. While doing so, he decides to launch a volley of dark, eerie orbs that Clemont, Wes and Rui would recognise as the move Shadow Ball, in hopes to lower the Special Defense(aka resistance to 'special' moves such as far-ranged magic beams) of the tinier, 3 to 4 metre tall variations of the collosal humanoid creatures.

"Alright Buddy, you handle low, I deal with the big leagues," Way Big says while the Eevee nods, standing by and preparing to support those who need it.

"Some of you guys seem to think that these guys have a weak spot on them. Wonder what happens if I shoot the whole thing, surely that'll cover the weak spot," Way Big says.

"These guys aren't so tough once they look like a bunch of disgusting gremlins, but there sure are a lot of them," Way Big comments, "better start now!"

Way Big tosses two 10 to 15 metre tall titans into the air with vast strength, before his arms form a cross, from which a great cosmic ray was launched, vaporizing every inch of their bodies!

"Something tells me that if I keep this up, it's going to be a little excessive," Way Big sighs, before he grabs another two and bashes their heads together repeatedly at full force.

"This, on the other hand, isn't working. A weak spot, huh? If I didn't know any better, it's always the eyes," Way Big proceeds to use the classic finger jab of doom on the titans, picking Titan by Titan up by the head and jabbing them in the eyes with a two-finger V-sign hand, then putting them down back where they previously were. He repeats this process at great speeds. It wasn't the true weak spot, unknown to Way Big, but it hopefully did blind them.

"I- is it working?"

"You can do it everyone! I believe in you all!" Sidon rooted for everyone fighting the giants. He didn't have a way to help them, so he just stayed back, cheering the fighters on.

It took Clemont a minute to get back up again after landing practically on his face. "O-oh, man..." He muttered, quickly getting to his feet and checking his glasses and his backpack to make sure nothing had broken (and to his relief, nothing had). Then he looked around to attempt to gather some bearing on his surroundings...

...And found himself immediately overwhelmed. What were these things? Bigger than a Regigigas, and they looked human!? They weren't anything he could possibly place, and Clemont was split on finding them cool (in a scientific way) or terrifying (in a deeply visceral sort of way). For a moment, Clemont felt stuck, paralyzed, just staring at them, and staring at the wreckage that everyone was wrecking upon them. This was a big first step--Perhaps a little too big for the gym leader with no Pokemon.

So he did the reasonable thing a scrawny dork like him could.

Hardly thinking, Clemont ducked behind Sidon for some form of protection, quickly catching his breath and peeking out from around the back of the...Fish...Person (he had so many questions about everything). "Y-yeah, you can, um, you can all just...Take care of that!" His voice was wavering, once again visibly terrified. But, as though remembering something, he quickly looked up towards Sidon's face. "Uh, p-pardon me, mister, sorry for using you as a barrier..."

Once their weakness was identified, the battle had become much easier; though Noembelu had to apply a little extra force with her hatchets... She was soon able to slice out the nape of the titan's neck, causing it to collapse to the ground... For good...

As the battle raged on, numerous titans fell thanks to the efforts of Mista and his sex pistols, which obliterated the napes of their necks, downing those that they hit permanently... Which in tandem with Way Big's destructive power (even though he had begun to shrink a little) was doing quite the number on the titans that had one been terrorizing the civilians...

Helped along by Rosa's haste and protect spells, it would seem that Wes's pokemon, Espeon's psi-beam was able to obliterate the nape of the titan's neck... While Umbreon seemed to be fending off the few titans that were able to attempt to reach out towards those he was trying to protect, as well as the collavorative efforts of Birdy and the Huntress, who both gave A2 a lift, allowing her to become airborne, and tear away at the napes of the titan's necks that she was fung towards.

Sonic's own attacks, made with the help of Blaze only seemed to accelerate the annihilation of the titans; it seemed that at least for the moment... The hunters had become the hunted.

In fact, all throughout the battlefield, it seemed that word of the titan's weakness was spreading like wildfire, and the other fighters were quickly eliminating the titans with ease...

Though it looks like there was still titans clustered around the exits at the moment... But, it would be a relatively simple matter to draw them out... Right?

Also, as a sidenote, Sidon, who had been cheering the fighters on heard the distinct sound of giant footsteps as a 5 meter tall titan began lumbering towards him... Drawn by the sound of his voice, as it dove towards him, mouth wide open, intending to gobble him whole!

In the meantime... Seisa was experiencing a different problem; that shockwave that had come from somewhere in the cneter of the stadium appeared to be unaffected by her ability!... Whatever it was... Seemed to follow its own rules... Or perhaps her powers just were not strong enough to interfere with it here...

On the other hand... If she could eliminate the source of that shockwave, perhaps this little problem could be lifted? For now... At least.

She looked a little startled, but wasn't so keen on showing it... Instead, she put away her device rather quickly once she realized she had company, looking up towards Kara.

"Fine..." She muttered.

But she seemed far from fine... In fact, she looked quite on edge, like she was having a bad day or something... Which was understandable, considering the titan situation, but oddly enough, she wasn't exactly fleeing the situation... Nor was she helping with the fight.

In the meantime, Selena, as a passive observer... Seemed to notice the battle with the titans going in the favor of those fighting them! Apparently the information about their weakness was quick to turn the tides in the battle... However, there was still one, distinct threat amidst them.

A freakish looking titan near a crashed airship was currently locked in battle with many of those that had been brought here... And seemed to have some sort if inherrant ability to drain powers. To make matters worse, its regenerative abilities seemed to take merely seconds to recover its injuries, and its movements were quick... Erratic, and near unpredictable.

However, if they were able to take that creature down... It looks like the battle in the stadium might just be won...​

Well, this clearly wouldn't do. Noembelu wasted no time in climbing up the airship, hoping to get high enough to jump and land on the titan's neck when it got close enough. This fight had gone on long enough.

After Sonic was finished with the titan, Sonic made his way over to the other three to regroup.

"Haha! Oh man, this is so fun!" Sonic exclaimed with a grin before examining the shark person, Birdie (whom he'd met), and the kid. "You guys ready to kick some major monster butt?" Sonic asked as he began to stretch out, though it was obviously jokingly.

Once their weakness was identified, the battle had become much easier; though Noembelu had to apply a little extra force with her hatchets... She was soon able to slice out the nape of the titan's neck, causing it to collapse to the ground... For good...
As the battle raged on, numerous titans fell thanks to the efforts of Mista and his sex pistols, which obliterated the napes of their necks, downing those that they hit permanently... Which in tandem with Way Big's destructive power (even though he had begun to shrink a little) was doing quite the number on the titans that had one been terrorizing the civilians...
Helped along by Rosa's haste and protect spells, it would seem that Wes's pokemon, Espeon's psi-beam was able to obliterate the nape of the titan's neck... While Umbreon seemed to be fending off the few titans that were able to attempt to reach out towards those he was trying to protect, as well as the collavorative efforts of Birdy and the Huntress, who both gave A2 a lift, allowing her to become airborne, and tear away at the napes of the titan's necks that she was fung towards.

Sonic's own attacks, made with the help of Blaze only seemed to accelerate the annihilation of the titans; it seemed that at least for the moment... The hunters had become the hunted.
In fact, all throughout the battlefield, it seemed that word of the titan's weakness was spreading like wildfire, and the other fighters were quickly eliminating the titans with ease...
Though it looks like there was still titans clustered around the exits at the moment... But, it would be a relatively simple matter to draw them out... Right?
Also, as a sidenote, Sidon, who had been cheering the fighters on heard the distinct sound of giant footsteps as a 5 meter tall titan began lumbering towards him... Drawn by the sound of his voice, as it dove towards him, mouth wide open, intending to gobble him whole!
In the meantime... Seisa was experiencing a different problem; that shockwave that had come from somewhere in the cneter of the stadium appeared to be unaffected by her ability!... Whatever it was... Seemed to follow its own rules... Or perhaps her powers just were not strong enough to interfere with it here...
On the other hand... If she could eliminate the source of that shockwave, perhaps this little problem could be lifted? For now... At least.​

Remember when Clemont said "anything to further scientific knowledge"? The alien watch that brunette boy had was one thing. He was deeply interested in that device, even if he didn't have the foggiest idea what they were supposed to be. He'd have to ask more questions later. But that was the kind of scientific knowledge he was talking about. Sure, the portal was interesting, but it was dormant--Nothing to study with that, right?

...Or so he'd thought.

Before he could blink, Clemont once again found himself falling...Or, more accurately, being pulled.

It took Clemont a minute to get back up again after landing practically on his face. "O-oh, man..." He muttered, quickly getting to his feet and checking his glasses and his backpack to make sure nothing had broken (and to his relief, nothing had). Then he looked around to attempt to gather some bearing on his surroundings...

...And found himself immediately overwhelmed. What were these things? Bigger than a Regigigas, and they looked human!? They weren't anything he could possibly place, and Clemont was split on finding them cool (in a scientific way) or terrifying (in a deeply visceral sort of way). For a moment, Clemont felt stuck, paralyzed, just staring at them, and staring at the wreckage that everyone was wrecking upon them. This was a big first step--Perhaps a little too big for the gym leader with no Pokemon.

So he did the reasonable thing a scrawny dork like him could.

Hardly thinking, Clemont ducked behind Sidon for some form of protection, quickly catching his breath and peeking out from around the back of the...Fish...Person (he had so many questions about everything). "Y-yeah, you can, um, you can all just...Take care of that!" His voice was wavering, once again visibly terrified. But, as though remembering something, he quickly looked up towards Sidon's face. "Uh, p-pardon me, mister, sorry for using you as a barrier..."

"Sorry, there's no shark's fin soup on the menu, this is a fast food restaurant, after all," Way Big, continuing to shrink, slugs the Titan that prepared to eat Sidon right in the face at full speed, before slicing its nape with an armblade.

"I'm counting on you to take care of Shark Boy!" Way Big says to Birdie. "Shark Boy, stay out of trouble!"

Sonic and Blaze entered the fray.

"You don't have to ask me twice, pal," Way Big responds to Sonic with positivity in his voice. "Hop on the S.S. Way Big!"

Way Big would offer to give the five a lift on his shoulders so that he could get them to safety, or 'kick massive butt'.

"Oh no, the Omnitrix might time out any second now..." Way Big feels worried.

"Skree-ee-ee!"

A titan appears in front of Buddy, Orpheus and Wes. Before Buddy could make any moves, a blue ray penetrated the humanoid behemoth's neck. As the Titan falls, a green flash of light appears.

"Can't say I didn't see this coming," Ben appears once more, sighing.

If any of the five previously mentioned were on Way Big's shoulders, they would be a single metre above air before falling to the ground.

"Skree-ee-ee!" Buddy squeals in delight as Ben stands by his side.

"Change of plans, I'll handle low with you guys," Ben says, "let's see how this'll work..."

Ben creates a thin purplish barrier against a jaw-baring, hungry Titan. This barrier seemed to be ready to break by the wrath of the beast's jaws, but it could endure the attack long enough for Buddy, Orpheus and others to make a move.

The titan then began to charge towards the group in front of it, with quick... Erratic movements, intending crush them... With either its feet, or wild swings from its limbs... However, it seemed a little clumsy, having been temporarily blinded by Eygon's attack, which appeared to have made it less accurate in battle...

It looks like it would be for the best to finish the creature off as quick as possible, before it had time to recover, and unleash another shockwave, and make things more difficult... Buuut, on the other hand... The airship appeared to be left unguarded for now, as the creature that had been perched ontop of it was quite distracted.​

Dead eyes at a time where Shichika felt more "alive" than he ever did.

That was the expression on his face.

In a place where death was running rampant, its cold touch spreading like wildfire among the monsters in the area and possibly others, Shichika felt alive again, breathing in the chaotic air. That was not to say that he was a person who thrived in the presence of suffering, but it was undeniable that a sword like him benefited from bathing in blood. With every enemy he cut down, his mettle grew firmer and tougher. He became stronger with every enemy he put down.

Even Shichika Yasuri forgot sometimes that he too was human, in the heat of the moment.

As the deranged Titan grew closer, stumbling forward like a drunken giant, Shichika stood still and pondered his choices calmly, essentially in a zone that he had not found himself put in ever since he had stormed the Shogun's castle. But even he knew in this moment what the priority is. Or rather... where it was, considering he wasn't even sure what exactly it was that he was supposed to be looking for.

Granted, as an army, these so-called Titans could probably prove to be a challenge, but by themselves, they were not much of a threat, or so Shichika found. He himself easily downed one as it was, and with these other people he found himself in the company of with all sorts of strange powers, perhaps it was not even worth addressing, especially since the others seemed to have it covered for the time being. Usually, his fights tended to be either one-on-one, surrounded by countless enemies by himself, and so on, but never did he find himself in the company of allies.

It was a strange feeling.

Being able to rely on others.

Having to be relied on others again.

What would Togame think? Was this part of what it meant to be human all this time? The experience that he had inadvertently become free to go down the path of with the conclusion of his old journey from back then? Perhaps, but it mattered little as he stood here in this situation, thrust again into battle, into this rip in time against his own will. A sword may never tire, but a human did, after all.

But it couldn't be helped.

That said, Shichika took a mad dash forward and made his way into the unguarded airship in hopes of finding something that would be able to quell these random enemies.

JD's bullets alone did not seem to finish off the titan, even though they did hit the nape of it's neck, but what he glimpsed just before its collapsed form disappeared from his field of view was one of the numerous fighters slicing out the nape of it's neck, which seemed to finish it off.

Perhaps the nape needed to be either cut out or just completely obliterated for the titan to stay down?

As those who followed the source of the shockwave, and the screeching from earlier, quickly found themselves joining the group at the crashed airship. Evidently, the screeching had come from a rather sizeable titan clinging to its hull... One that displayed some bizarre traits; a black oozing substance was present in numerous places on its skin, and its eyes were without irises, emitting a red glow... But it seemed relatively inactive for the time being...

That was, until Connor's attempts at figuring out how the gun worked (which functioned not unlike your average gun, in the sense that you pull the trigger to fire it), caused it to fire an reddish bullet made up of energy into the air... Which detonated after making it some distance upwards... It seemed that the weapons were loaded with an explosive type of ammunition.

However, this seemed to draw the titan on the hull's attention, but yet... It did not quite move, until James' claws tore into it's legs, that indeed caused it to lose its grip on the hull and tumble to the ground below, but the battle wasn't over yet! It seemed that this titan was able to regenerate considerably faster than the others... Even as it was pummeled by the group that had gathered around it, dealing heavy damage. In mere seconds, it was up on its feet... Unleashing another blood curdling screech, accompanied by another shockwave..

Fortunately, it was just then that Dorian's barrier kicked in, which protected James and Togame from its power draining effects... But as a result, it seemed that Dorian's staff was beginning to weaken. Dio and Giorno who were in close proximity of this blast felt their powers begin to drain at a slightly more accellerated rate... "H-Huh?-... Oh! Right!" Ruby yelped, snapping out of her moment of shock.

She still wasn't quite sure what was going on with Blake, but it was apparent that she remembered the severity of the situation... And thus, she turned to face the titan in front of them, along with Blake, who seemed to be deep in thought about something.

"Okay! We can do this! We just have to destroy the nape of its neck!" She called towards her team.

All they needed was a little teamwork... And thus... With Blake still behaving a bit oddly (despite having apparently remembered to use her semblance) and all... They managed to take out the second titan!

However, it would seem that both Blake and Ruby's attention was suddenly drawn by a freakish looking titan in the middle of the stadium, that had just let loose a shockwave of energy... Accompanied by a shrill screeching noise.

Dio's flight slowed yet again as another shockwave rocked his body. He felt his power drain even further, and faster. He would be at a tenth of his strength before too long. Still, he pressed on. By the time he reached his opponent, he couldn't have been more than a fifteenth of his normal strength. Fortunately for him, one fifteenth of the speed of light and one fifteenth of about twenty tons was still incredibly fast and pretty strong. He had to use that while he still had it. He barely avoided being turned into mush by a flailing limb, The World's and his combined strength as the World formed around him only just strong enough to hold it off. Even so, he sailed away from the creature from the force of the blow.



"How dare you!? I'll wipe you off the face of the earth!" He flew forward in a sudden burst of speed, screaming at the top of his lungs, "WRYYYYYYYY!"

One twentieth of the speed of light, and one ton of force per punch came hurtling in at the creature's neck as it ran past him. In its purest form, he attack rushed the nape of the Titan's neck, though he took care to avoid the strange liquid.

"MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!"

His battlecry, full of unadulterated rage, carried far from his powerful lungs. He was not letting this thing leave alive.
