MID-CHAPTER UPDATE
With Freddy taken care of, presumably aged to God knows how long, given how differently time flows in the Negative Zone, and the portal deactivated, you were all left alone by yourself, having destroyed him, the Divergent Catalyst to the world. It was only a matter of time before you'd end up traveling into the next world, but of course, there was always something. There was always something that had to come first before you could do it. Nothing simple like destroying the Catalyst and then immediately moving on. No, sir.
Shortly after, an apparition of a bald, strange-looking man would appear before you all.
"Ah, so it seems you were able to dispatch the Divergent Catalyst of this world. Commendable. And greetings again," he said, his voice and familiarity with you communicating that this was the man who called himself Uatu, the Watcher, who contacted you shortly before reaching the virtual reality, and right after you had traveled into this world.
"It appears that you have also managed to acquire the Ultimate Nullifier. Indeed, a powerful weapon. Extremely destructive in the wrong hands," he spoke, floating towards you all,
"But strong enough to destroy Arch Demon Akibahara. If it were at full capacity, of course. Unfortunately, it appears that the bear was not lying, and that the Ultimate Nullifier is indeed heavily damaged. However, it is not completely worthless. Though it may only contain roughly 15% of its original power, it is still powerful enough to greatly weaken Akibahara to the point where you will all be able to stand up to him directly in battle. So for now, it is advised that you simply keep it in your possession."
"Woof," Lockjaw said, appearing before the group as well.
"When you are ready, Lockjaw will transport you into the next world, so that you may continue your journey. It is coming soon. I can feel it. Fight well, warriors. For the multiverse."
And just like that, as quickly as he appeared, he was gone.
Before you could get further in whatever business you were all attending to, however, Shiki would appear out of nowhere, bursting through the doors of the laboratory. It seemed that he had finally awakened and was back to his usual Tohno self. However, his face was pale and had a fearful expression on his face. Something was wrong.
"Guys! Legolas, he...! He...!"
A stammering mess, it was quite clear what he meant, even though he had trouble producing the words.
Legolas was the next victim.

The body of the elf would be discovered one floor down, having recently being killed. When you would all find his body, he would be found with his limbs tied together. There were many bruises on his body, suggesting that he was beaten, and there were also cut marks, though the wounds seemed much too big, yet shallow, for blades like knives and swords. On top of that, the real ice breaker was the gag on his mouth that blocked his breathing, possibly causing him to suffocate.
Well, time to vote out another suspect.
Time for investigative work again!
