"...Huh, is everything alright in here? Dietrich, Nick?"
A sickeningly calm voice washed over him, the epitome of politeness. However, he knew better. Dietrich glanced at the doorway, inspecting the young Korean boy intently. His eyes narrowed into slits. His expression grew cold. He witnessed the darker, more twisted side of Trennen. In the past, he made a foolish mistake of volunteering, curious about Trennen's fascination for dissection. Truthfully, he was suspicious and investigated, using himself as a test subject. When he traveled outside, he spotted Trennen dissecting plants and small animals. Once upon a time, he might of considered Trennen an innocent boy with an abnormal curiosity. However, he detected the early signs of a dangerous condition. Would Trennen conform to the inevitable? He didn't know. Dietrich kept an eye on the younger boy, waiting. If Trennen didn't develop into what Dietrich anticipated, it would be a miracle.
"Everything is fine, Maeng," Dietrich drawled silkily, maintaining a calm tone. He glanced at Xavier, whom entered the room. He inclined his head politely. "Guten Morgen, Xavier," he greeted.
