Tired. It was tiring, always walking around the Mirage Forest. The animals, however, kept crowding around her. She began to pet them, though, her hand phased right through them when she tried to. Her expression was that of a calm woman, who had achieved perfect peace and serenity. Usually, people would be glad with this sort of peace. However, with her, she looked.. Bored. Why was that? Shouldn't sh be happy that everything was going smoothly? Should she be happy that she was surrounded by so many animals? So why, why does deep inside her, does she wish for a war to begin, so that she may slaughter? She didn't get it, it was confusing. For now, she chose not to think so much into it, getting up, and looking out at a kingdom that she happened to laid eyes on.

And it just so happened to be the Kingdom of Demons. Maybe she could steal a pastry or two from there. She never had to worry about kingdom laws, mainly the ones where she had to pay or something in order to enter. She always just phased through the guards anyways, and no one ever dared to enter the Mirage Forest, so she wouldn't be missing much. The mirage forest was always an odd spot where scholars were always researching about, to no avail of any new information however. Usually, such a lush, green forest would never grow on the side of the mountain, but oh, it did. It was just on the border of the kingdom, to where others always walked out around it.

Zerachi slowly stepped out of the forest, and just like that, the forest lost it's power, and the trees began to die from the atmosphere. ".. Don't worry, I'll be back." She smiled, walking down to the kingdom and entering. She saw that it was too boring, just walking in like that, so she decided to do something more fun, like sneaking in. She quickly transformed into something that looked like a bird, flying over and onto the top of building in the kingdom, and shifting into the appearance of a regular peasant girl. Of course, she was unable to speak or communicate in any way, but people would be able to see her. Her hair turned into a straight, sleek black and her pendant stayed the same as usual. However, it took the shape of a heart instead of it's usual oval shape. Now that she had the chance, she hopped around over to some pastry shops, sneaking in, and stealing them as she left. Yes, she was caught for doing it, but it would be too boring if she just got away like that.

"Theif!" The store owner called out, and some guards began chasing her while she ran. A smile formed on her face, hopping from area to area. She could easily transform back into her original appearance, and they wouldn't be able to see her, but no, that would be boring. Instead, she held her hand up, forming a small ball of mana. The ball quickly turned into something that looked like a bolt, shooting out at the knights and attempting to hurt them. Of course, the bolt only stunned them, but the impact of the magic was pretty strong even if she weren't trying with her pure mana.

She would probably keep doing this for a while, as she needed time to kill. And really now, she had all the time in the world. But if she were to die, where would a fallen goddess, that has both sinned and repented, go? The thought of it scared her, limbo was the worst case scenario, and she's seen people be sent there...

And all because of her.

Kingdom of Alatum Hastam
As the kingdom lays silent the king informs his fellow officers of the current situation, ''The queen cannot be here sadly for she was attacked by a band of weak bandits near the forest'' He said as he sighed in disgust. The wind began to pick up as the sky gradually became darker, ''Due to her foolish actions and weak prowess this kingdom has no business with her's, Therefore the escort will go as planned, however when she approaches the gate the two of you will take the queen prisoner whilst your knights kill the other peasants whom dare travel with her'' His voice was direct and cold as he ordered his officers to perform a horror that has yet to come. The kings posture straightened as he leaned forward with his arms back gripping the chair arms of the golden throne, his eyes sparked yellow eventually extending around his head reaching the skies. His next words spoken echoed throughout the realm as if he opened a dimension to the other world, ''Within her kingdom rests something of value and her people must die before i grasp the holy presence.'' The skies roared with thunder throughout Ventorum, his blood red cape shot upwards as gravity around the room felt heavier, This display of power is why no one within the kingdom has stood against the word of the king for fear of death or worse.. Betraying the gods.

King Alister, Now revealing his true prowess and status to be the new deity of the Alatum Hastam religion. Although his presence within the earth realm is against the law of the gods it is yet unknown to them that he wields the power same to the gods of Ventorum. All throughout the world children began to cry and the clouds began to swirl closest to the kingdom of red gradually causing the clouds to no longer retain the white modern color they always had but now red as blood symbolizing the long but fearful legend of a arriving rogue god.

Was it the dragon blood that had erupted such power within the king? This is yet unknown, whether or not it was the mix of a dragon transformation or a true deity awakened to fulfill the legacy of the former founder, Artorias Dragonbane no one will know until his name is sketched within history once more as the revival of one of the most corrupted king's has once again shown himself to the world of Ventorum.

Latrosalus - Dungeon

''The Dungeon.. Must be a large dungeon if a elder dragon sleeps there. Good Thing too because after i ki..'' He suddenly stops himself as he immediately realized that the young girl and him literally just met. ''Perhaps my plan should be a secret from this girl.. No telling what side she is on... She might be the dragons friend or something.'' He thought as he looked deeply at her. ''Well would you like to come with me, little girl?'' He asked politely as he bent his knees to get to eye level with her. ''After all it is best to keep her close than not know where she is, Its best to know where everyone is in case they are not of friendly manner.'' He thought as he attempted to persuade the girl to follow him.

Latrosalus - Dungeon
Interaction: Alexander Henry - @Edward

Annette was hesitant when Alexander asked if she wanted to go with him. After a moment, she nodded and smiled up at him. "If you don't mind me beng around, Ser." She was inwardly happy that she was finally going to see the dungeon after so long. She didn't want to go in there after hearing the roars in fear that she would disturb the new resident sleeping inside. The souls didn't seem to want to go near it and were fearful of whatever was inside, so she decided to stay away from it. "Would you like me to help?" The small girl stared up at the man, thinking he could use help in an unfamiliar kingdom and wanting to see what the souls were scared of. She thought for a moment and wondered if she would ask the boy's spirit to help them go into the dungeon, but she decided not to. Annette didn't want the boy to be scared, and she didn't know Alexander that well. So instead, she was going to help the older man herself and started to walk towards the dungeon's entrance, hoping he was following.

Esta let out a soft sigh, smiling as everyone got to work. As much as she knew that Emory hated being healed through the use of magic, she walked up to the healer and instructed them to use the potions. Emory must have been just a little sick of magic at this point, so she would have to apologize later. Esta was one of the people who stayed behind, and so found that the soldier who had helped out was injured. Well, who wouldn't be after something like that? "... I should send the mages out more often." She muttered to herself. Unlike with physical force, she had trained mages in the kingdom, and most mages would have honed their battle magic, as in mainly holy spells as black magic wasn't permitted. Black magic, elemental magic was completely different. She ran over to the male who was practically knocked out from the pain, and she began to heal whatever wound was causing it. As she had practiced magic as a child, her white magic was considerably strong, and it could regenerate a major organ at the cost of a lot of mana, however. The pain would go away, but not the fatigue. She didn't have any spells that would cure his fatigue, but she was working on it. Kind of, sure lets go with that.

A few moments after she had finished healing, Emory approached her, and Esta seemed to be pretty happy, and relieved, that Emory had recovered. Though, her happiness was quickly washed away the moment she said that she may have sparked anger into the king. Oh, that was never good. Worst case scenario, they would have to go to war, and that was never good. She would have to devise a plan before she left, in case the king were to pull off anything. But it was never like her to be paranoid. She trusted the king, and many others. But it never hurt to be a step or two ahead. ".. No, no.. It's fine. It's true, I may have made a horrible mistake, and it may be an act of mockery, but it's alright. Everything will be okay, like how my mother used to tell me. Though, it would be wise to devise a plan.. In worst case scenario." She remarked, letting out a heavy sigh. She looked up Emmy after she had spoken kind words, prompting a soft smile to form on Esta's face. And just like that, a soft giggled came from her. It was really not the time to be laughing, but she was grateful, for having such a kind friend who could stand by her. "Thank you, Emmy. But you have to go back to Vestoria, I have a few plans.." She muttered, flashing another weak smile to her. "Don't worry, once we declare peace, you can sell your potions in the other kingdom as well. I'm sure that business will be much better there." She said, soon realizing both reasons as to why Emmy wanted to come with her. Both to protect her, and because well, financial issues. "In the meantime.. You can stay in the castle and make sure everything is in order in my place while I'm gone.. please? You've always been the mature one between the two of us." Usually, she wouldn't ask for Emmy to take up such a thing, but Esta knew that she could trust Emmy, she knew that if anything were to happen to herself, Emmy would be able to pull things back together. She wouldn't be able to forgive herself if Emmy were to die in her stead. Heck, she wouldn't forgive herself if anyone were to die in her stead. She still hasn't.

"For now... Let us return." She said, turning, only to find herself face to face with the Green Knight. He was one of the strongest, physically trained troops they had, and she was glad that they had showed concern enough to send him to a place like this. "No, no. It's alright..." She said, only then realizing that she would probably have to command him before he were to do anything. ".. Stand." She said, in a more stern voice like an order. She expected him to stand up, and if he didn't, she would ask him nicely. "I have plans once we return to Vestoria. I wish to discuss them with you, and the rest of the army and the mages." She stated, bowing her head.

. . . . .

Once they returned to Vestoria, they were all welcomed with a cheer in the peasant cities and villages. Etta just smiled weakly, all the way to the castle. By the time they reached the castle, she entered first, changed, and seated herself on her throne. Now, this was when she would devise the plan.

"Starting the escort, Emory may take the privileges of commanding." She declared. Everyone began murmuring, thinking that the queen was going crazy. She, really, was anything but that. "Green Knight, you are to position our knights and guards to the borders of the kingdom. All mages are to surround the borders, and hide in the mountains. Archers are to stay in mountain ranges, and gather all that can fight decently to be aware, and alert. If you feel as though this is a one sided war, please, please retreat to the mirage forest as well." She ordered, her dark blue eyes narrowing to the side. This really wasn't like Esta, as she was speaking as though they were going to war, and since she started ruling, they have never gone to war. "Finally..." She said, trailing off a little bit. It was almost as though she were hesitant to utter the last part of her order. It kept most of the ones listening, on edge. "... Kill all that are in red, who enter the kingdom after my departure. No one is to come with me as I leave, as I am being escorted. If someone from our kingdom were to come, it would show distrust." She explained. Esta looked down at the ground for a moment, before standing back up, and bowing her head. "... You are dismissed." She said, in a slightly wavered voice. She knew how dangerous the mirage forest was, but she had only heard that those who fought in the mirage forest were killed, and she had an entire kingdom that was peaceful. The mirage forest was vast as well, in geography. Thus, it could easily hold all the people.

Mood: Calm, but seathing with anger.

And to think. She trusted him, she trusted the kingdom, his people, and everyone else. To think he would have the nerve. This wasn't like her, everything that she had done up to now, starting from her orders in Vestoria, nothing she had done, or felt, was like her. Though, deep in her heart, she was slightly relived that she had given those final orders. She wanted to kill, she did. But part of her held her back, as though telling her, deep in the back of her mind, 'It's all going to be alright'. As for now, she needed to escape didn't she? She was lucky that she was a skilled mage, otherwise she would be literally, a damsel in distress. There was a guard in front of her cell, and Esta herself, was wearing the same dress that she left with. The dress was surprisingly kept clean, as she didn't struggle when she was being captured. Even if she struggled, she'd be harmed if she were to resist. All she could do was keep a blank face, appearing calm and collected. On the inside, her mind was a tornado of both anger and her will to find a resolution. Knowing how he was able to take advantage of her trust, she most likely threw her into a cell that restricted the use of magic. Oh how pleasant. Lets see, what could she work with here?

She was far more worried about the people back in her kingdom. She knew how strong (or roughly how strong) the troops were here, but hey it could be worse, they could kill her. Also, she's the only one with knowledge of the so called relic that he was looking for. The relic was said to have been given from the gods, and it took a god, to protect a god. She knew, without a doubt that he would be able to invade many kingdoms with his army, and all the evil will over power her peace. All she could do, was pray. Her mother told her about how there was once a woman in black and white hair, who travelled from place to place to make sure that the world was in balance. If there were such a person like that in the world with that amount of power, she prayed that everyone would be saved. She prayed that no one would lose faith.

Yet despite all this, she couldn't bring herself to hate the king.

Everything was haywire, as people were being attacked outside of the walls. However, as Esta united the nobles and the peasants, the surviving peasants had enough food and shelter during the almost one sided war. The mages were stationed at the inner walls, casting magics at any invading soldier and any other mages. Even without Esta there, she had given them specific orders in the event that a war were to occur. Sure, they may have been able to hold off most forces, they were still overwhelmed by the power of the opposing army, soon falling with only a handful of soldiers

Meanwhile, the citizens were all in horses and carriages, making way to the mirage forest. The problem was that the mirage forest was always swapping locations, and so it would be tough to locate it. However, scholars have been keeping track of it, and checking if there were any patterns. As for now, they are to make way to the border of the Kingdom of Demons. The Mirage Forest wasn't in any particular Kingdom, and so it would not be considered transpassing.

Before capture

General raikov had forseen this coming but did not disobey knowing full well what the king was truly capable of. He bowed and hastily grabbed enyas arm and exited the throne room. He did not dare speak of their orders within the walls of the kingdom. Once they were on their way to the kingdom of vestoria. He spoke. "I finally thought we were going to have piece and now we receive these orders. What do you think of the current situation miss enya." It had only taken a couple of hours to reach the kingdom of vestoria. Once they arrived they were immediately escorted to the throne room. "Queen esta, I am general raikov of alatum hastam. We are here to escort you." as they left the kingdom raikov began to doubt the orders that were given to them but decided to obey. As they reached the gates of their kingdom. Raikov turned and swung his blade cutting through the armor of the vestorian soldier assigned with them. He then slashed the other soldier nearly in two. "I'm sorry queen esta but this is just an order."

Location: Escorting Esta to Prison >>> Tavern
Mood: Hating her king and country

Befor the Capture:

Enya was at a loss for what to do as Raikov grabbed her by her arm and escorted her out of there and to a safe distance. Her mind was still reeling that she nearly missed the General's question. "I think... the may be the start of a new and unwanted war..." She had finally answered during their travel to the peaceful kingdom of Vestoria. Once there, she had kept quiet and escorted the pretty and ignorant queen to Alatum Hastam and to her fate. Once there, she set fire to the rest of the guards and held a small dagger to the queen's neck. "Please forgive us, your majesty." Was all she said before she and Raikov escorted the woman to the prison.

After the Capture:

Enya hated this day with a burning passion. Her king had the audacity to capture a queen who had done no wrong, and keep her prisoner while his troops pillaged and murdered peaceful people. And for what? Some unknown artifact that would grant the crazy man more power? Sighing, she downed her fifth cup of ale and slammed the glass down onto the counter with enough force to dent the surface. "Another!" She ordered angrily and watched as the scared bartender poured her another pint of ale and left her to hate her king. No... it wasn't just the king she hated... she hated herself for not having the strength or courage to stand against him and help Queen Esta. Not only that, she had been ordered to have her own troops, the mages she had trained in the arts of magic, to attack those innocent people. All that bloodshed... all that death... it was all do to her cowardice. Not being able to take it any longer, Enya began to cry. All those years of being forced to hold down her "weaker" emotions finally broke and she cried like baby. A cry she had not done since she was ten years old...

Queen Chrystalis
Location: Her Kingdom
Mood: Pissed

She could not believe this. It was unheard of to say the least. Not only did she get a report of a robbery, something she could care little about and will probably let the person loose with a warning, but her scouts came back with the news of what Alatum Hastam's actions towards Vestoria! She snarled at the very thought of it and picked up her throne, chucking it across the room with ease. The chair shattered on impact but it did little to comfort her. How could she have been so stupid to have allowed such a kingdom to exist for so long and believe that they may have been on the way to better themselves?! Snarling she ordered for someone to find her daughter and bring her to the throne room. Going to the side of the throne room, she knelt down in front of a portrait of their diety, Lord Nyxs, and prayed to him. When she heard the door open, Chrystalis looked up and turned towards the door to see her beloved daughter, Lamia, there.
"You summoned me, mama?" Lamia asked after bowing respectfully to the portrait of their lord. "Yes I have... It is about Alatum Hastam." Chrystalis states, standing and turning towards her pride and joy. Cupping her daughter's face with loving hands, Chrystalis looked into her eyes. "I want you to go to the kingdom of Vestoria with as many troops as you can possibly handle and go help anyone who has escaped the chaos. Then return and we shall assemble our troops. We will finally bring an end to the kingdom of dragons."
With that, Lamia bows and leaves to do as her mother and queen had ordered of her. Chrystalis turned towards the portrait again and clasps a her pendant tightly. "Lord Nyxs, father of demons and shepard to us all, watch over your children, as bring a swift end to our enemies. Please... send us your blessing and aid from the realm of demons..." She prayed and hoped that help would come.

After the capture
General raikov rode upon his horse as his men committed these unspeakable acts. This did not feel right him, killing unarmed civilians, but his king had ordered this. His pounded with the screams of innocent people being brutally murdered. At this point he envied enya for being left at the kingdom. It saved her from seeing these atrocities. He looked over at his king and wondered why this war must go on like this.

Before the Capture
The Green Knight obeyed the command of his Queen and stood up. Upon hearing about the Queen's plan to return to Vestoria the knight couldn't help but wonder what this was about. But all the same, the knight nodded in obedience to the Queen's order.
In Vestoria, after the listening to Queen's orders of mobilizing their forces to the borders of the kingdom, the knight placed his right fist on his chestplate and said "It will be done, my Queen.". However, the when she said she would continue her journey to Alatum Hastam alone, the green knight immediately wanted to stop the Queen. Before he could do anything, the green knight saw the look in the Queen's eyes. From that, he knew that there was nothing he could do to persuade her. "I pray that you will have a safe journey" said the knight with sorrow.

After the capture in Vestoria
The Green Knight stood alone at main entrance of the kingdom while the other Grand Knights were guarding all the other key areas. He could see a group of Alatum Hastam soldiers with their signature red capes marching towards his direction. He could remember Queen words so vividly in his mind , "Kill all that are in red". "Leave now or die, choice is your right" said the Green Knight unsheating his Great Zweihander.

Anton was weary of these soldiers that were their escorts but he knew this was quicker then walking. (half an hour later) He knew it, these dogs had turned on the woman and her escort he was with but know that Anton was not a man to be trifled with as the red caped knights now smoking and frozen corpses were testament to but he also knew that more would be coming so he made a choice, he grabbed one of his scrolls and unfurled it while the runes on it looked like gibberish to most but to Anton and any other mage that looked upon it saw it was a one time use transport spell. Anton but his thumb and wiped blood across the runes, some more knights tried to stop him but it was to late as he was gone in with a burst of static in the air.

Anton was walking away from the kingdom of Alatum Hastam after the transport spell when he fell to his knees as a great power washed over him and for the first time in a long while Anton felt fear but in a instant it was gone as the book of Tzeentch opened before him, it went to a blank page where words were being now written Revertere ad me hoc est necessarium ad prophetam or in English "Go back she is needed for this world to live my prophet" as those words appeared on the top of the page below a image was appearing of the woman he was with earlier while a emblem of tzeentch was drawn on her head. Anton's eyes glowed an ethereal blue as he spoke. "Yes my lord." His god had spoken and he was compelled to listen for this woman now had the attention of tzeentch but they knew what he looked like. He was going to have to find his armor as it looked like he was about to get himself in another war.

Before the Capture

Emory was a little disappointed earlier when she heard the Queen's voice tell her that she was not wanted on the journey, but was simply to be left back at the castle. Right now she was stood listening to the queen announce all her plans for while she was gone... to Emory it sounded like they were going to war. So the queen had taken her advice into mind about the King being enraged. She felt a little pang in her heart when people around her began mumbling and whispering as Esta announced who was going to look after the castle, was she not good enough? Emory's face crinkled up and she left the room to go fetch her son and her workers.

When she arrived in Vepra, the first thing she did was return to her little castle to see her son. "Mother!" Averey beamed, running to cuddle her.

"Hello again my boy." She murmurs and kneels down to kiss his forehead and cuddle him back.

"Did mother have a good journey? Did you bring the medicine?" He asks, stuttering a little bit.

"I had a very eventful journey son, but I managed to bring the medicine home. But, you must pack your things." She replies sternly.

"Why mother? Are we in trouble?" He says, tears welling in his eyes a little.

"No, but there are bigger matters, the kingdom will most likely be under attack soon, your God Mother Esta has commanded that we stay in her house and protect her castle." She says to her son who let a little salty tear escape. She frowns and wipes the tear away. "Worry not, my dear child. Now go go, pack your possessions." She ushered and he ran to his bedroom. Emory however, glided to the room across the hall where her very sick mother laid, she sat beside her and put her warm hand against her mothers cold sweaty forehead. "It's going to be okay mother.." She whispered before getting up and heading to the cellar where there were racks and shelves filled with spices, ingredients of many kinds and varieties, rock, potions and many more things. She hurried to the work bench where she prepared medicine for her mother with a bit of the Oblomus horn. She mixed all the ingredients together and then headed back up to her mother, who she gave the medicine to.

"How is she doing my Lady?" Someone asks from behind her, she turned to see her faithful Steward Rosemund stood there.

"She hasn't got long left..." She whispered, the pain being transferred in her voice. She pinched the bridge of her nose."But that is the least of my worries right now." She grunted. "You must pack your things straight away, transportation has been arranged to take most of my people to the castle. We will be staying there.. Go, now." She commanded and then went up to her room herself to get her stuff together. She hardly packed any clothes, just potions and things to do alchemy with. Once everyone had packed and transportation was arranged, she was sent up to the castle again.
--
As soon as she arrived, she checked to see if Esta had gone before she started to change things. She knew that the fact that she had gone by herself that thing weren't going to go well. She decided to evacuate the kingdom. Whether Esta liked it or not, Emory thought it was a good idea. "Summon the Green Knight and Zachariah Maxwell for me and a messenger." She stated. Once they arrived she began speaking. "Green Knight take some soliders but not many and gather the people of the kingdom, anyone you can find and tell them to travel through the Mirage forest and into Regnum Daemoniorum, Zachariah make sure all soliders are on duty and in their places, there's likely to be a huge attack and you messenger, tell Queen Chrystalis of my plans, tell her I will offer her a great reward if she defends my people." She says to the messenger. "All of you must do this as quick as possible, make sure most people are in hiding or are on the way to Regnum!" She added just before they all left.

After the Capture
Emory actually felt sickened that the king was so kind to Esta at first and then did this, attacked the precious and peaceful kingdom of Vestoria. Emory had no clue as to where Queen Esta was but she thought that she mostly likely was sat in the kings prison. Emory had no time to get out of the kingdom and help Esta. Most of the remaining people that had stayed in Vestoria had been killed, slaughtered, many knights were dead and currently, the castle was being shot at by catapults, and any force that the King had. The king was even stood there with his horse. But Emory had known better, before the attack had even happened, she got knights to summon a few mages from the mountains into the castle and together they had worked to put a small forcefield over the castle; where her family, at least fifty knights, more than seventy peasants and a few mages currently resided. If they got in, every thing would be over. She couldn't let that happen. So she decided to do her alchemy... it was killing her mother... but she needed Esta. Like she said, every piece of magic had a consequence. She hadn't told Esta but the consequence was her mothers health.

Emory stood at the balcony that looked out over the kingdom, currently it looked out over hundreds of soldiers and catapults that flung against the forcefield, and began to chant, and chant, runes were flying over the soldiers and into the woods. Her face bled like before, out of her eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Her words became more painful to say and the hand where she held the philosophers stone, began leaking blood; even though she wasn't holding it that hard. But the pain it caused her was all worth it when the ground began to shake and stir and several booming roars echoed over the kingdom, behind the soldiers, some of the stones from the walls were turning into golems, golems that were triple the size of some of the soldiers and had loud, ferocious roars. They wouldn't exactly kill all of the soldiers but it would shred their army down, help Vestoria's soldiers and also give the kingdom time to reacquaint with their Queen, Esta. Hopefully. Emory prayed that she would make it back. As the Golems set to work, Emory went back inside to her mother.

She sat beside her mother and took her into her arms, her mother stared at her and her breathes were slow and wheezy... until they stopped, but her eyes continued to stare. Emory looked at her and a tear left her eye and fell onto her mothers face. "Please no.. mother." She whispered, putting her ear to her mothers chest only to hear nothing. Her body was silent. Emory began sobbing, clutching her mother. Averey stood over them and also began crying and hugging both his grandmother and his mother.

"I get paid right?"

After the whole escort ordeal Zachariah was tired and ready to rest on his laurels. Returning to the barracks immediately and was greeted by his fellow militia as well as being congratulated on staying alive. He knelt down to the locked wooden chest beside his bed, taking out the key and slowly turning the lock. Click, the lock was undone Zachariah slowly opens the chest revealing his own set of leather armor, travelling cloak, skin backpack, a thick Dark Tome he stole from his slave master and a pouch containing all the Gold, silver and copper he had saved up since arriving on Vestoria. Zachariah stared hard at his inventory before closing the chest and locking it. He felt like he needed to leave this instant without a trace but there was something tethering him to Vestoria he couldn't leave until something happened. Zachariah sighed and climbed to bed perhaps tomorrow will be a better day he thought to himself but he knew that lady fate is the cruelest woman he had ever met.

The next day he was suddenly promoted to Knight Captain without warning or the traditional ceremonies, he was granted a knight captain's badge, cape and armor. He was awestruck but it wasn't Esta who gave the promotion but Emory the woman that saved his life during the ordeal. Emory was sitting at Esta's desk piles of paper was strewn about looking a bit distraught but somehow still holding on to that aura of hers a noble aura one could feel hope emnating from her just like her majesty Esta but Emory's was more potent less uncertain but Zachariah had just noticed that he was staring and did not hear what she said earlier "Is something the matter James, is there anything you would like to discuss?". The discussion went on for about an hour but the important thing is Zachariah decided to stay and help while earning Emory's favor but Zachariah did do something he hasn't done so in years and revealed his given name to Emory he didn't know why but felt compelled to.

Following the days after being promoted was hectic, the sudden re-positioning of combat assets, the distribution of arms and provisions but somehow they managed even with the lack of provisions. Apparently the kingdom of Vestoria did not expect a war so soon as there were barely any stockpiled supplies after the distribution there was only enough supplies to last through a week of a siege and he was being generous with his calculation. Emory's order was tough to get done but he managed. The scouts he sent to ascertain the Alatum Hastam numbers and estimated time of arrival had returned "Sir! There are ten of thousands of them! With their current speed they will be upon us in a 3 days at least! Also there is a leading force, at least a couple thousand ahead of the main army!" the scouts ended his report and returned to his post. The first thought that came to his mind was there was no way they were going to win, Vestoria was lost but he needed to buy time for the civilians to escape that was the main objective after all... Not winning the war. Zachariah made a report to Emory and the grand knight council before disappearing back to his chamber meditating, preparing his spells. He had already donned his old leather armor and travelling cloak but wore it under the knight captain's cape. Dark magic he thought he will never use any spells from that dark time in his past but better to be safe then sorry.

Two days before the main invasion force arrives but the Vanguard of the army was already tearing their fortified location apart and their numbers had yet to dwindle. If this keeps up we wouldn't last a single day, Zachariah did something he did not think he would do, he saddle up on his horse and rallied about a hundred volunteers. His plan was to cut through the enemy forces and go straight for their commanding officers that would buy enough time and stop them from pillaging the lands. Zachariah rode out with his brave knights and it took them only a few hours to reach the vanguard's campsite by then it was dark and there were sentries posted throughout the camp. "This is hopeless just as I thought." one of the knight said which caused ripples through the ranks. Zachariah stood in front of all of them, he wasn't a leader but he couldn't help but try "If we don't stop them, they will reach the castle the next day tearing down our castle walls for the main army. what if Queen Esta returns and saw the castle in ruin?" there was only silence not a single knight replied "I'll tell you what, we charge down from this hill and into the heart of the enemy's vanguard and we tear it out if they want Vestoria they are gonna work for it." Still there was silence until of the knights raised his fist and shouted "For Vestoria!" soon the other knights follow "For Vestoria! For the Queen!" Well it kinda worked. After considering the time of day Zachariah cast a spell that allowed the knights to see better in the darkness while the knights readied their torches. Changing the original plan this was now a night raid. It went without a single hiccup, the vanguard force was already celebrating their predestined victory over Vestoria and their sentries were drunk with the wine they had procure from pillaging. Many tents were set alight ,soldiers screaming a few of the brave volunteers did not survive that night but the attack was successful. The damage he and his small force had done bought them time until the main invasion force arrived. As he returned however he was not greeted by congratulations but instead chains for insubordination as his attacks were not authorized by the council.

During the invasion Zachariah was locked up in the cell in the castle basement, however he did not spent the two days idly but used it to prepare every possible spell he could need to escape. He bought time for the Vestorian army to get into shape and whatever is happening up there right now was the commander's problem. As luck would have it the constant barrage of catapult shook the walls enough for Zachariah to easily kick the prison door down and with it some of the bricks, he didn't kick very hard though. He made his way up to where Emory and her family were and made it just in time to see her clutching onto a dead person presumably her mother's body. Moving through the room as silently as possible he look out the windows, worst than he had ever anticipated they already broke through the walls and now only the inner walls and the barrier was keeping them from being overwhelmed. Walking over to Emory who had blood all over her but still grieving over her mother, he knelt down to examine the lady. He could tell in a single glance that Emory was using her mother's life force as substitute for mana but it hadn't been that long before she had died however there was still a chance to bring her back... "I'm sorry Emory but this might offend you." Zachariah closed his eyes and began chanting ancient verses while placing his hands over the dead mother. It was Dark magic, using his knowledge of casting two spells at once he cast a spell that drains the life force that still remained on the bodies of the dead on the battlefield around them turning them to dust then another placing that life force back into the mother calling back her soul that was being taken by Death. Colours were starting to return to Emory's mother but this spell needed time and concentration if Emory or anyone were to push or strike Zachariah the spell would immediately die and all the gathered life force will disappear.

Zerachi was just about to hop onto one of the guards until.. She felt something amiss. "... There's more bad than good.." She muttered, suddenly reverting back to her original appearance. The guards, as usual, were unable to see her. Fun would have to wait for later, as a war may happen, and the last thing she wanted was to get involved with it. Though, this was a special case. This was a war between the most peaceful kingdom she's ever come across, and the most violent kingdom she's ever come across. It would be a piece of cake for the violent to take over should they make a move, well, if she weren't there. If she weren't there, then the bad will easily take over the good, and that was never pleasant. Sure she didn't mind a good slaughter here and there, but she drew the line at some point. It would be so much easier to just wipe out both sides, rather than just nit picking out the good and the bad, but no, no. If she did that, things would no longer be bal-- Oh wait, they would be perfectly balanced. That is, if not a single soul were spared. She couldn't per say, 'pick' a side, as that just wasn't how she rolled. For now, she decided to return to the mirage forest, and look over the war from the air. Taking a bite from the pastry she stole, she merged herself into a bird, flying up above and returning to her forest.

By the time she reached it, no one was still there asides from the animals. Honestly, they can all have their war as long as no one damaged her forest. It was one of the only places where no one dared to venture, and it gave her the peace that she needed when she wanted it. Wars? She could always start one out of the blue, or join one if she needed to outside her forest. Since she knew that there was no soldier stupid enough to attack, she took the force field off the forest and returned to her original form. "... I wonder if there is someone who can change my mind.." She muttered, looking up at the sky as she let out a sigh. There was a power hungry king who was trying to find a relic, buried in Vestoria; then there was the peaceful queen, who possibly may not be so peaceful after this. Hey, who could blame her? Where there was pure good, there was bad. Where there was pure evil, there was good. Yeah, I know, hard to believe eh?

The woman let out a soft sigh, as she snapped her fingers, and she suddenly just, disappeared. Teleported you could say. Where did she teleport? Of course, to the war. She wanted to see if this were for real, or for not. This, sadly, was. She was never fond of a war. nor was she ever the type of person to get involved with one. She hated wars, yet loved them, like a complex of some sort. Like an addiction. Now, the biggest question here was...

Attack the attacking side, the defending side, or wipe them all out?

A deadly decisions for both sides, but she could really care less. After all, if she didn't like that choice, she could just kill the other off, but she couldn't bring them back, now could she? She may specialize in magic, but she has not once touched black magic. Her black and white hair were blowing in the wind, staring out from the castle gates. There were a number of enemies raiding into the area, and obviously, they had a high morale. Well... What would they do if their morale... Was suddenly dropped?

A smile on her face, a dark light was radiated off her fingertips. It was something, negativity, that she was commanding. This specific spell was used to make people less confident, doubtful, and etc. She was just giving them the equal amount of negativity, as they had positivity. Most of the soldiers began doubting their orders, some actually began retreating against their captain's will. She didn't do anything to the Vestorian soldiers, as they were negative enough. On the other hand, literally, it began glowing more white. The white was used as a positivity spell, slowly raising the morales of most of the soldiers. Her smirk, faded into a warm smile as she looked at the soldiers who wished for peace. "... Maybe.. If you impress me, I'll change my mind." She said, standing on top of the wall. If someone were able to see her, they would have to believe that someone, or something, was able to manipulate the balance and boundaries, and turn the tides to be even.

If there were someone like that, she would be surprised but..

She would be happy, nonetheless.

Raikov turned around as he heard the roars of the golems. Then he noticed his men begin to run away. Raikov made a slight prayer, this could halt the slaughter even for a while is better than nothing. He looked back at the main castle wall and the knight that atop it with a large two handed zweihander. "your majesty I will deal with the enemy commander. Please stay your course." raikov then reigned his horse to draw the knight to a more secluded area where there would be interference in their battle and waited for his opponent to arrive.

"Death comes to all, even kings"
After slaying a good number of Alatum Hastam troops, the Green Knight noticed a large individual riding on horseback. He could see that he was trying to entice him into fighting him alone. The green Knight unable to resist the challenge, the Green Knight smashed his Great Zweihander at a part of the main gate causing a large part of it to collapse downwards where the entrance was making the path nigh impassable. After sealing of the entrance, the Knight made his way towards the enemy commander while cutting down any individual who was foolish enough to get in his way. As he arrived at a secluded area, he took a good look at his opponent and said "Make peace with your Gods now, you will meet them soon" with a monotone voice. The Green Knight was disgusted by the commanders tactic of attacking unarmed civilians. As much he didn't want to admit, he was itching for a decent fight and perhaps this is the man that will give it to him. "Worry not about your King, he shall join you shortly after your departure."said the Green Knight as he held his Great Zweihander on his right arm and waited for his opponent to strike

Kingdom of Vestoria
War on the Walls !
imagecreate.php

The beginning of the war was brutal, many died in the process on both sides but yet the smoke of battle has yet to clear as the eternal war cry from both kingdoms raged for many nights. Arrows flew above men hitting most as the red armies of Alatum Hastam retreated slightly back as they were unable to find entry within the kingdom immediately after the magical barrier wrapped around the walls. The king, Alister Dragonbane the third halted his troops with a single hand only to see a singular knight standing in front of the million men red army.

''With such bravery you stand alongside no one but your god to clash metal and soul with me?!''

Words said strongly towards this green knight echoed throughout the war zone as the sure power of his voice silenced the clash of the others. The spotlight focused on the two whom locked eyes outside the walls, ''Your sword, although long cannot stab my full prowess, Let alone my hands!'' He yelled showing that he had no plans of mercy, His voice screamed ego but his real power matched every word. The king got off his horse then within seconds its head was cut clean by the power of his golden blade, such speed and power only implied that he was no general knight but a magical one. The golden blade raised in the air then dropped to his side in swift motion causing a large gust of wind to shoot from his feet and outward from all directions, small bolts of lightning rushed behind the wind gust as it immediately killed over 200 of the knights whom stood behind the king.

Meanwhile Alexander was nearly about to follow the girl inside the dungeon till the sky formed into a familiar stature, Clouds curved and the sky roared which only meant one thing to him, His king to whom he hasn't seen for years activated his powers which in return meant war. His helmet turned to the left as he looked up behind his shoulder, His eye squinted but it wasn't visible. ''I have to go..'' His voice changed dramatically as it was no longer the tone of a young childish man but a serious adult whom was on a mission. He turned and walked away without a word to say, With a few days time he may be able to save the queen of Vestoria from the man who wished only for power. His sword shook as he walked and although sheathed it shinned with a black and red aura that eventually conjured a swirling tornado of black a red magic. This tornado wasn't large but it was big enough to be seen from a mountain, after a few minutes the smoke cleared that the tornado made from its disappearance and revealed a black horse which to the eye was a strong horse with red hair and glowing white eyes. Ser. Henry jumped on the back of the black horse and road off to the kingdom of red to where he presumed the queen was, his king was blind but not stupid which with reason he only near of two situations that happened between the time of activation and invasion and that was either death or imprisoning.

Anton had found the tomb where his armor was hidden away and the journey took him a few days, it was fairly new for a tomb even though weeds and vines grew over it. This place was in Anton's past as much as anything, those buried here were the warriors he had fought alongside with in their mercenary group who's name had long been forgotten to the winds of time and in most minds that was for the best. He made his way into the structure lighting candles with a small spark when needed, the halls were eerily quiet with the only sounds following Anton being his footsteps.

He walked past each grave, each had a small flame burning besides them he moved past most until he got to one who's flame was purple. Above the sarcophagus their was a painted carving of a beautiful woman, her skin was an olive color while her hair was a rich shade of brown, her eyes' were sapphire blue. In the image she was wearing ornate robes while she was pictured giving gifts to children, this was Medina the soul of this former mercenary band and Anton's former lover.
He stood in front of the sarcophagus while he spoke. "Hello Medina, I know it's been a long time since I last was here to pay my respects to you all but the world above never likes to give me the time I wish I had..." He looked at the sarcophagus with forlorn eye's as he remembered the time he had with her and how she died in his arms, he had never felt more helpless in his life not even as a child but what hurt even more was when he found out that she had been pregnant with his child at the time. He had been given her journal with the last entry marked, it had said she hadn't bled as normal and while she had her suspicions she had went to a doctor who used magic to confirm her thoughts and she went on to say that she was never more excited in her life and couldn't wait to tell him. That was the thing that sent him over the edge, he had went out and found the men and women they had fought against that day and slaughtered all of them in a systematic fashion many he found with friends or family but that did nothing to assuage his rage as he killed them all the same that day. He knew it wouldn't of been Medina's wish but it was the only thing that had taken the rage away but it had left an empty hole, this is also when he had cast away his armor in this tomb as part of him had "Died" that day and ran back to the servants. "I know how much you hated that armor I wore then, how much you said it made me look like a monster but it seems that monsters are more common than not these days. I'm going have to put that armor on again despite my promise to you though I know not if this journey will finally lead me to you again or if it is just another chapter in my life." He said a small prayer as he moved on, at the end of the hall their was a sarcophagus with a blue light burning next to it this was his. He pushed the lid, it moved slowly but after a few minutes of work the lid fell to the ground with a crash. The black Armor of the prophet as they had called it, their was nothing really unique about it as it was more of his reputation with it that had made it so terrifying though how many still remembered the "Black prophet" was anyone's guess. He walked out of the tomb and started to walk back towards Alatum Hastam and as he walked reports would start to come it from Alatum Hastam patrols of groups of their own dead with the bodies being either ash or frozen where they stood, looks of terror on their faces, the black prophet had returned and he was on a mission.

Emory Ironstrike
"It's for the best..."
Location: Vestoria >> Queen's Castle
Activity: Protecting the castle.
Mood: Sad, exhausted, angry.

Emory watched him as he revived her mother, a part of her wanted her mother back - so badly but... This wasn't the way. She couldn't let him use black magic, if you thought the consequences for doing alchemy were bad, the negative effects of black magic were even worse. She held her breath before lashing him to the side with her alchemy magic, interrupting the spell, still holding the philosopher's stone. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that - I also cannot let my mother live on just to be the power supply for my magic.. You must understand." She says, tears dripping down her face before she went over to Zack and pressed her warm lips against his. She pulled away and looked into his eyes. The kiss was supposed to mean nothing but deep down, she needed someone like Zach... Maybe she had felt something. "But I shall thank you, for trying." She whispered and got up before storming away and out to the balcony again. She looked down at the battlefield and all she saw was carnage. Some golems had been defeated, but many were still standing, crushing, lashing and squishing soldier's. Many of hem ended up as a mangled corpses when the golems had finished with them. She also noticed a one on one battle between the green knight and the king. She had little faith that the green knight would be able to kill the king. As she stood there watching over the battle she felt something wrap around her leg; she looked down to see that it was Averey, hugging her tightly. "Mother, I'm scared..." He sobbed. She bent down and picked him up, cuddling him, nuzzling her wet face against her little boys neck.
"It will be okay my darling.." She murmured, holding him tightly.

It was night now as he stood on a hill over looking Alatum Hastam, he was able to see the lights of inns, houses and bars light up. He also heard the celebrations that were still going on over the "war" their king started and it disgusted Anton, these...pigs knew nothing of the suffering their king wrought on the land or it's people. He made his way to the wall when ever the guard patrols weren't looking, the wall was made of stone with some magic enhancement but Anton had no intention to go through the wall just yet. He put his hand on the wall and froze it, he did the same with his other hand then his legs and slowly started climbing this was one of those times where he was grateful for his ice magic. The darkness aided him as his armor blended to the wall, as he got to the top he heard a guard walking near him, he reached up and grabbed the man by the neck before freezing his neck and vocal cords where as he then pulled him over and dropped him to his death. As he pulled himself up on the wall he looked around and saw he was clear for now, he opened the book and looked through it until he found a seal that would help him but it was a gamble, the book of tzeentch had powerful magic in it that was able to be used by the chosen Prophet but it was at a price, the more the book was used the more of your soul was taken by tzeentch to be used as his warrior in the Hollow for some servants this was a gift to others it was a curse but for Anton it was simply a price to pay. He spoke in words that mortal minds were unable to understand and after he was done his finger lit in a ethereal blue fire letting him carve the seal in the wall, the seal spread it's roots into the decaying any protection seals the wall hand and taking their power for it's own like a parasite but Anton was over the wall before this letting the seal complete itself. As he landed on the ground he rolled into the shadows and started to stretch his senses out to fine queen Esta, he had seen her use magic before and had a feel for it but their were others in this area with magic potential so he had to sort through it all, this would take some time.

(I'll make the continuation of this post tonight when I get up tonight so heads up all.)

Interaction: Esta
He had a fix on her signature and the prison by proxy, he walked through the streets now that most were in doors or drunk he went mostly unnoticed and those that did see him merely passed him off as a drunk stumbling home. He found himself at what looking like a grain storage area that was near a large number of buildings it gave him an idea, he let a small spark fly from his hand to arc in to the grain making a small ember, Anton knew that with how dry it had been that a fire was bound to start and jump to a few buildings drawing the attention of the guards and citizens. He kept walking as the heat behind him started to rise along with the orange flickers of light that danced in the grain silos before long he saw lights appear and the sounds of panic start to rise, as he predicted many people were now running either to fight the fire or in terror away either way it made his job of getting to the prison just a bit easier. it took him another five minutes of walking to get to the prison their were less guards here now as most had gone to fight the fire but he was willing to bet their were more then a few left to guard the queen, he walked in unopposed and right into the main guard station where he found two things of importance, one being the location of the queen on the main floor he was on the second was the rune powering many seals throughout the prison many of which seemed to be used to drain magic well at least that explained why the queen's signature was trying to gain more power but wasn't growing. He swiped his hand along it turning it off less he be affected by it as well, he stepped out and started to make his way to where the queen was. As he walked he saw the first guard, he tried to stop Anton with a shout and a threat of a sword but the arc of plasma that was his lightning silenced the man forever, the noise brought two more they both yelled something along the lines of "He's here for the queen we must stop him!" But to Anton their words were merely dust floating on the wind, his hands exploded with electricity that arced to the walls, floors and anything else near Anton for the guards they felt their hair stand on end along with the smell of burning ozone to permeate their noses. For the guards in front of Anton that had never fought a mage it looked like a god was before them and for those who had knew just how dangerous this was about to be, what none of them expected was for Anton to fire the built up lightning in one large ball into the middle of them all where it stopped and started hitting them with the arcs frying them in their suits or armor as the metal made them a living conductor and since all of them were wearing metal on their feet the electricity kept going through their bodies until their bodies fell dead or were almost there. He walked past them to the holding area, as he went he passed a window where he was able to see that the fire he started was now being quelled by the guards and those who had helped them, he found the queen in different clothes then before the one's she had on now were more battle orientated. He knocked on the bars of the cell getting Esta's attention. "It's time to leave your highness." He said to her.
