Rosa sighs and then looks to him, smiling weakly and taking his hand. "You won't hurt me, you won't hurt anyone. You're a really nice person, you're polite, sweet and you're a great friend. If you had hurt me, I wouldn't be friends with you. I really love you" She says and hugs him gently.

Oliver froze as she hugged him, clearly surprised. It took him a few seconds to respond, to wrap his arms around his friend. He was breathing heavily, but was calming, having been afraid of losing her. He gently let go of her, giving her a tiny smile that hurt his bruised jaw. He hurt all over, his back, legs and head were throbbing

Rosa smiles and kisses his cheek lightly. After school had needed and she had dragged through plenty of lessons, she let Oliver come home with her. Whilst he had been at school, her family had shifted all of his things to her home since they were proved after many tests to have the perfect home for Oliver. She was glad he could stay with her, and see what it was like to be loved properly.

Olivers cheeks reddened as she kissed his cheek. For the rest of the day he seemed calmer, but anxious at the same time, which worsened by the end of the day. He was unsure of Rosa's family. What if they didn't like him? What if he did something wrong, something that seemed normal in his old house? He obediently followed his new friend though, head lowered

Rosa's family was pretty warm and comforting. Her mother was friendly and loving just like Rosa, her father was outgoing and I to sports and her little sister was over enthusiastic and chatty. The house they lived in was rather large, as her mother was a lawyer and her father worked in a large business with good pay. Rosa lead Oliver upstairs, after her family introduced themselves and showed him to his room.

Oliver had mostly stayed quiet as they introduced himself, overwhelmed by their kindness. Was this what normal parents were like? He was beginning to see how wrong he was, to think what his own parents did was normal. It scared him slightly to be in a new environment, to be a stranger moving into a friends home. He silently followed Rosa, limping up the stairs

Rosa watches later in the evening when her mother began to tend to Oliver's bruises. She watches as her younger sister seemed happy to help and sat by her mother, dabbing carefully at his bruises.

Oliver sat as still as possible as this happened, his eyes shut in embarrassment. He felt stupid, with now only his trousers on, so that the bruises that were decorating his chest, stomach, ribs and back could be tended to. He refused to let them near his legs thought, as they were worse. Under his trousers the bruises were like splatters of paint over his scarred and pale legs, and he wasn't about to let them see the worst of the damage

Rosa watches as her mother let him tend to his leg wounds and such by himself. Most of the bruises on his upper body had vanished after tending to them and he looked a lot more better now. She was glad that she had told her family about what was going on.

(Shall we skip to when they're together a few months later?)

Oliver didn't bother tending to them, even though he had promised softly to do so once he was alone. He had moved to his new room by then, and shut the door softly, before falling onto his new bed, and beginning to softly cry, not making too much noise

)If you like)

Over the months Rosa had confessed her feelings to Oliver, she had known him long enough to love him in a relationship kind of way. She was currently in his bedroom, whilst showing him pictures of houses as they couldn't stay cooped up in her parent's house for the next few years.

Oliver was still finding it hard to come to terms with his new life, and Rosa's love for him had been a definite surprise, but it was happily returned. He sat beside her silently, nodding at the images, softly telling her that if she was happy, then so was he

Rosa smiles after taking a few pictures and writing down numbers. "I'll go and call someone about these houses, they'll give us a tour of the locations" She says and smiles, dialling the number on her phone.

Oliver nodded to her, curling his legs to his chest silently, as he stared ahead of himself at the wall. Recently his mind kept going back to thinking about his parents, and if he'd ever see them again.

Rosa nods and spoke to the tour guide on the phone then puts it down after saying goodbye. "We have an appointment at twelve. We have a few minutes to prepare" She says softly, smiling at him as she say beside him again, petting him on the shoulder. She strokes a hand through his hair in a comforting manner.

Oliver instinctively leant into her gentle touch, mumbling a soft "Ok" Before he silently closed his eyes as he frowned. In one hand he clutched a book, one with a black front cover, bound in leather and tied tightly together with a single stripe of the material. He never let anyone see inside it, not wanting them to

Rosa smikes weakly. Once they had prepped and she heard the doorbell go, she took hold of Oliver's hand. The tourist was a woman that lead them to her car where they would drive to the house they would tour.

Oliver silently wrapped his hand around Rosa's, and obediently followed, eyeing the tourist woman warily. He found it hard to trust people now, and was very protective of Rosa

Rosa smiles and held onto his hand throughout the journey. When she got out, she noticed the tourist lady had got our as well and put out her foot in front of Rosa, making her trip and fall.

"Sorry! I didn't see you there" She says nastily.

Oliver, who had already got out of the car, lunged forward to catch his lover before she hit the ground, gently pulling her back up with worry in his eyes. He glared at the tourist woman, and stayed close to Rosa
