Name:
Sarah Albright
Age:
23
Height:
5' 7"
Weight:
142 lbs
Personality:
Sarah isn't as rough and tumble as one would believe. Underneath all her bluster and rudeness, she genuinely cares about people, and this is the reason she's a daycare teacher. Once she knows someone pretty well, she drops some of the tough girl act, showing her concern openly. In many ways it can get annoying, as she tends to make sure everyone is eating, and asks about it six times a day. Since she's used to dealing with kids, she may also often slip into 'mom mode' where she begins to become overprotective and speaks simply to someone. In many ways, she isn't used to dealing with adults, and sometimes can come across as condescending or rude.
Biography:
Sarah had been an unwanted child. It had been an accident, that she had been born. She had always been told this, like a reminder hanging over her head since she could remember. She'd been born into a rich family after an affair produced what would be the only child of the union. Sarah had been taken in and claimed as their true daughter, but in secret her mother would keep her locked in her room. Her father tried to give her things, but they were for a different child, one that had been perfect in their minds. The one they had truly wanted, not Sarah.
She tried to bear their expectations as best she could, but she was too tall, always too loud, and when she learned their expectations were unattainable, she rebelled. She became everything her parents hated just for the sake of living how she wanted to. Naturally, this created a rift between them and her. Over time it became too deep to ever heal, and Sarah didn't feel bad for turning her back on them.
Sarah moved out the second she was eighteen and learned everything she needed to, in order to get a job somewhere, anywhere. The only place that took her was a small daycare that was desperate for help. She wasn't certain that she'd be able to get along with the children at first, but quickly became a favorite teacher there and learned everything she needed to in order to remain at the daycare.
Life Wish:
To do the thing that makes her happy, helping kids in any way she can.
Death Scene:
She shouldn't have interfered in the kidnapping. Sarah should have ignored the car she'd never seen before and stayed inside where she would later be questioned if she had stayed inside. If she had done this there would have been no casualties, and everything would have been resolved all the quicker.
But she interfered in the kidnapping. She went outside.
They had been after a toddler whose parents owned some big technology group that was worth a lot of money. The parents believed that their child would be safer going to a small daycare and that they wouldn't have needed too many bodyguards. They were wrong.
The kidnappers managed to knock out Sarah and kidnap the child, and the sudden upset in their plans caused them stress. Sarah didn't have anyone to make them give up a ransom, so she was a witness. They didn't want to kill her, but the day they had the hostage release, the big man who was in charge decided to make an example for any brave heroes on the police force.
She said with her last breath before they strangled her to the child who had been taken along with her, "don't look... please turn around.... do as they say."
They made Sarah kneel, wrapped a rope around her neck, and put a boot to her back.
