Have you ever wondered what happened to our heroes after Hogwarts? Have you ever wondered what their children would be like? Would they be heroic and brave like their heritage, or would they lead their own stories?
It's a new age. A new dawn. We may walk the same halls, wear the same uniforms, carry the same names, but we are not them. It's about time they realize that we are not out parents, we have our own lives to live, our own stories to tell. Hogwarts is ours now, and nothing will change that.

If you haven't picked up on it already, this is a second generation Harry Potter roleplay, and there will be some canon aspects. We will be playing the sons and daughters of those we had followed throughout the story. We will not be playing the canon characters themselves unless need be. This will be set in modern times at Hogwarts after the war, and will be more domestic (but this may change as the plot goes on.) The Cursed Child plot line will not exist, leaving the lives of their children entirely up to us to play out.

Personality: Generally a quick-witted contrarian, Cordelia has as many faults as she does strengths. Much like her mother, she has strong opinions and never passes up an opportunity to speak her mind. While some might see Cordelia as purely argumentative, she is rarely judgemental or mean-spirited and generally just likes banter. Her quick thinking extends well beyond wit, and Cordelia is a natural problem solver, the most energetic when tackling a bump in the road from all angles. She is a natural speaker, fancies herself as a leader and takes pains to carve her own path.

When convinced that she's right, Cordelia can be downright stubborn and off-putting. She will defend her own ideas to the death, and will often come off as insensitive because of it. Background:
Although there were attempts to thrust Harry Potter's children into the public eye, Cordelia enjoyed a normal and happy upbringing with little interference from the Daily Prophet. The Potter house was full of love and encouragement, and Cordelia formed a close bond with her immediate family, particularly her mother, Ginny, whom she admired and emulated when she wasn't busy letting curiosity get her into trouble. Growing up, Cordelia was never bored, and between her brothers and cousins, there was always someone to hang out with. That closeness is something that Cordelia presently values as well, even though both families have had their ups and downs.

At the age of eleven, like all other magical beings, Cordelia received her Hogwarts letter and began her education. Sorted into Gryffindor like her parents, she adapted rather well to life away from home. Of course, having her brother and cousins around helped to stave off loneliness, and keep Cordelia from feeling homesick. Her early years at Hogwarts passed without too many incidents--there were a few detentions here and there, times when she may or may not have lead a group of friends into restricted parts of the castle--but punishment did little to stifle her sense of adventure.

During third year, Cordelia found a proper outlet for all of her extra energy. Quidditch was something that the Potters took rather seriously, with Harry having been seeker during his time at Hogwarts, and Ginny having a stint with the Holyhead Harpies, picking up a broomstick seemed and felt like a natural thing. Being a younger member of the house team earned Cordelia a lot of time on the bench during games, but practices were always satisfying, and once the Keeper, a girl by the name of Bethesda Lowe, graduated, the position was up for grabs. Cordelia gave her try-out all she had and by fourth year, the rest was history.

Currently in her sixth year at Hogwarts, and co-captain of the Gryffindor quidditch team, Coredelia is finally beginning to think about her future. She was never the type for grand plans and is much more of a go with the flow type of person, but family and friends keep asking her what she plans to do after school, and for the life of her, Cordelia can't seem to give a solid answer. There are many things she hopes to accomplish in her remaining two years at Hogwarts, but fun and freedom keep sidetracking her.

Trousers and Muggle t-shirts that she's been brought by visitors to the Leaky Cauldron? Yep. Eyeliner is one of her few musts for everyday wear besides a smile.

Description: Ivy is a dirty blond with blue/gray eyes. She has a longer oval shaped face (reminiscent of photos of Hannah Abbott from the film). She has a pale complexion that tends to run a bit sickly in the colder weather. Her hair is fine, so it tangles easily. It's a constant struggle for her to keep it as neat as her mother likes. She's currently growing into her height, so as of right now, she's a bit strange with her relatively light weight but long body.

Personality!

Personality: To be completely honest, the only time Ivy is quiet is when she is sleeping. As much as she enjoys curling up under blankets, she would much rather be bouncing about and chatting with anyone and everyone (even the plants). As the youngest of four, Ivy does not quite know how to be alone or how to appreciate silence. Even when taking an exam, she fidgets and makes some tapping noise to fill the uncomfortable quiet.

As a friend, Ivy is as loyal as any Hufflepuff can be. Break up with a boyfriend? She'll offer to hex him for you or will provide sweets and a comforting shoulder to cry on. She loves to be needed, and so she can be insecure. Ivy wants to believe that any given student at Hogwarts could be her friend while simultaneously, she's terrified that no one actually likes her. Thus, she tends to extend her friendship to almost anyone as she chooses to see only the good. This can cause problems when there is a conflict between friends, and she does not know quite how to handle it.

Likes: Her family, Herbology, laughter, art, sweets-especially chocolate frogs, the outdoors, curling up with thick blankets during the winter, and baby creatures.
Dislikes: Mandrakes (shudder), rude and arrogant people, people who take themselves too seriously, silence, and staying still for too long
Hobbies: Gardening with her father, drawing, reading, making new friends, Muggle watching & Muggle Pop Culture (From all of the patrons of the Leaky Cauldron), cheering on her fellow Hufflepuffs at Quidditch Matches.

Background: She is the youngest child of Neville and Hannah. Growing up, she grew very close to her mother and siblings as her father was busy with his work as an Auror. So, Ivy spent quite a bit of time watching all the people flow through the Leaky Cauldron. She loved the different stories of all the patrons, particularly stories about muggles. When her father began to transition into teaching, she enjoyed spending as much time with him as possible. Her favorite memories were going to the cottage with her family and looking at all of the different plants.

Now at Hogwarts, she's really found a second home in her house- Hufflepuff. Ivy really enjoys being around people who are hard working, but also friendly and willing to help each other out. (Especially with transfig and other classes). Even though Hufflepuff has a reputation of just being do-gooders, there's no place she'd rather be. They're more than "just-the-rest". In the future, she would like to work as a healer.

Dress: When it comes to clothes that aren't school uniforms, Linus dresses like most other teenage boys. His closet doesn't consist of many bright colors and contains much more navy than anything--which is ironic considering the Hufflepuff house colors. Linus also likes fitted jeans and feels like the cuffs tuck into his favorite pair of boots. They're a little beat up, but he won't get rid of the grubby things until a hole wears through the bottom.
Description: A rather tall boy, Linus has finally grown into his lanky limbs and no longer minds the way he towers over most people. His brown hair is worn short on the sides, but it is shaggy enough up top to be pushed away from his forehead. Linus has a sharp bone structure, full lips and blue eyes that are misleadingly intense. He has a pale complexion, marked with a few stray freckles and leftover scars on his fingers from Barnaby.

Personality: Light-hearted and relaxed, there aren't many things in life that Linus stresses about. Always ready with some kind of quip or corny joke, he is comfortable being the center of attention and could be considered the life of the party. Linus is a bold individual who is eager to live and live large and is more than willing to step out of his comfort zone and take other, more hesitant (and reserved) individuals with him. He cares deeply for the people in his life and is happy to be an endless source of entertainment for his friends and loved ones.

Caring so deeply does it have its pitfalls, however. Although Linus doesn't always show it, he is sensitive and when met with criticism, or backed into a corner, can react badly. This unwillingness to address his own weaknesses can rub plenty of people the wrong way. He is a poor planner when it comes to long-term events, and although his spur of the moment adventures are never lacking in fun, they can often end on a bad note--like being stranded in the middle of the countryside after a rousing afternoon of gnome hunting. Because of this, Linus is regularly seen as irresponsible, but that's just another criticism that he refuses to acknowledge.

Background:
The oldest of the four Longbottom children, Linus has a close, protective bond with his siblings that started early in life. Despite the hustle and bustle that often surrounded the Leaky Cauldron, his childhood was normal, full of attention and positive examples set by both Hannah and Neville. When Linus wasn't busy leading his younger siblings on some kind of adventure through the pub, he was spending time in the greenhouse. Although Linus never had all that much in common with Neville, he was fascinated by Herbology and learned many facts and tricks from his father well before his first Hogwarts letter.

At the age of eleven, Linus left home for school. He was sorted into Hufflepuff rather quickly, with the hat barely having to sit on his head to figure out what his spirit was most drawn to. For the first time ever, Linus was without the protection and comfort of family, but that never seemed to bother him and he formed fast friendships with the other first years.

As the years went on and his siblings joined him at school, Linus continued to flourish in social situations. He was never the most serious about studying and his grades reflected just that. Now in his seventh year, and with his grades sitting on the low side of average, Linus has a choice to make; try for possibly the first time, or watch himself become a disappointment to those around him. As much as he wants to be better, it's so much easier to keep floating through life like the social butterfly he has always been.

His eyes are brown and wideset, and always have a mischievous twinkle in their depths. His ears are slightly large and stick out to the side a bit. His brown hair, just tinged with a hint of red, is bushy and unruly, like his mother's.

Hugo, to his mother's great dismay, takes more after his uncle George than her, or even his dad. Well, someone had to carry on the mischief-making to the next generation, after all! Hugo loves pulling pranks and making people laugh, and is somehow always getting into trouble. Partly this is because he is impatient of stupid rules, and goes out of his way to break them, and partly just because his grand pranks often go too far.

He is brave to the point of being reckless, but, like his dad, always procrastinates the things he doesn't want to do. Like homework. Or really any form of work. He hates sitting still, and any sedentary activities like reading are a dead bore. He fidgets and doodles and cracks jokes through every class, frequently landing himself in detention. He certainly didn't inherit his mother's brains, though like his father he has a pretty keen strategic mind when he bothers to put it to use. He's also pretty quick on the uptake, though he has a terrible memory.

Background: The younger child of Ron and Hermione, and somewhat the underdog to his sister Rose's star, Hugo was born to be a pest. He spent his childhood tormenting Rose and plotting ever more ridiulous pranks, determined to outsine the legend of his uncles Fred and George at some point in his life. He began to show magic at a very early age, whenever he needed rescuing from some of his more dangerous starts.

Hugo always knew he'd be in Gryffindor - it runs in the family, after all. Besides, courage was never something he was lacking. Brains, possibly, but never courage. From his first day at school he made a bang (literally!) He's spent nearly as much time in detention as he has in class, and mostly scraped by only passing grades. He wanted to try out for the Quidditch team in his second year, but they only needed a Seeker then, so he was forced to wait. In his 3rd year, however, a Beater spot opened up, and he got it. He's not up to Fred and George level, but then again, he's just one person. He's still pretty good, when all's said and done.
