The mere sensation of feeling the crackling of the leaves and twigs under her paws. The wind whipping in her face, the sensations of running, of hunting, and simply being one with nature. It was all so exhilarating for her. She loved this, this time when she could be alone, but really she wasn't. She could meld with her pack, here their thoughts, feel their feelings. But she could close it out when she needed to. But with two of the Betas out on the hunt, she had to be on her attention. Growling a bit, she turned swiftly from the cliff and darted off through the woods. It was then she smelt it, her hunt for the day. She slowed her running, and started to crouch low to the ground her large form, blending in with the surroundings. The deer stood there, grazing on the grass is in the small clearing. Dia would focus her attention, her close out her other pair. Allowing her to maintain all her energy to catch this creature. The deer, turned it's back to her, and it was time. Faster then most, she ran her way towards her prey, the deer, only having time to look up, as she flew through the air, and tackled the deer. The full weight of her body came down on deer, her sharpened teeth coming to the jugular of the animal and ripped at is throat, feeling the taste of the skin ripping from the bones, the taste of the blood, and then cracking of the beast, she watched it as it's color seeped away, and she let out a howl before she nawled at her prize.

Needless to say, it wasn't uncommon, for Dia to come out fo her hunting buck naked. She really didn't care what the others thought, it was simply her way. Shifting from human, to wolf and then back again, well what would one expect. On days of hunting she made sure to wear her cheapest clothes. Ones that she didn't care if they disingraded between the transformations. It was more then certain that if she entered the house in mid day, she would be seen this way, those lucky enough got to see the full frontal view of her, along with the backside view. Needless to say she was more then comfortable in her own skin. Keno and Joachim had been out romping around as well, she kept to herself, but still kept a watch over the two betas. Though when she made her way into the kitchen, seeing Drew sitting at the counter top chomping into a more then raw piece of meat, she raised a bit of a brow at Drew, giving her a bit of a side glanced smirk, "You know the schedules, and yours should be on the next hunt, though I can't be for certain it seems that all my nights and days run together..." she said as she took the house coat hanging on the back of the chair and ties it around her, it fitting her nicely.

Pulling open a drawer, she pulled out a tie, and put her hair in a messy bun, as she opened the refrigerator door, and pulled out a beer, popping the top, "You guys want one?" she said looking to the others in the kitchen, it was customary for her to have one after a hunt, rather she caught something or not. That and well she just really liked to drink. But she saw the Keno had gone from the chips offering her the bag, after Cassie had her share and she shrugged her shoulders as she reached her hand in and took a handful, sitting her beer on the counter as she ate some of the chips. As Cassie spoke on her not going on the hunt, she let out a bit of a sigh, as she slipped off the counter top she had been sitting on. "I don't know what to tell you two. Talk to Cora she is the one that makes the schedule, and I won't go against the rotation that she has." Her moistened lips rested on the lips of the beer bottle as she took another drink, letting out a bit of a sigh, as she sat it down with a clink on the counter, "Has anyone seen Zack?" she said looking to the parties in the room.

The night proved to bare no sleep for Zakaria, his mind was racing far past to rest. Thoughts, more like memories, presented themselves one after another each time Zakaria's eyes were shut in hopes of finding sleep. These mere memories of his past, his family, were enough to mentally weaken him leaving him to occupy the living room of the Black Torch Walker's den. The darken bags that lie just beneath the creases of his eyes were enough to show his exhaustion, but he would not fall to rest. In truth, Zakaria feared the nightmares that had found their way to him and wanted to do anything in his power to avoid them, so he sat still in the living room watching the flames of the crackling fire to comfort him as best they could.

As morning shined brightly through the windows of the living room, Zakaria removed himself and slowly made his way into the kitchen. For a split second he thought to discuss this with his Alpha, but the thought passed as quickly as it came. He was not an open person when it came to personally problems and this was as personal as it could get. Even years prior to the nightmares, Zakaria said not of his problems to anyone not even his alpha when she would ask. Quickening his pace he opened the cabinet to reveal glasses, grabbing one he got himself a glass of water. It was not until to cold water hit his lips that his mind began to catch up with his surroundings. He realized that Drew, Dia, and the others were there. "Morning." He said putting on smile, it was easy to allow his pain to fade away and be replaced by a facade.

Clearing his throat, Zakaria smiled and ran his hand partly through his hair as the color returned to his face. This was how most mornings went, he looked poor and weak and by the time the first word escaped his mouth he was okay again. Looking at Dia he smirked, "Looks like someone had a pleasant morning." He said noticing the robe wrapped around her. Dia had been an important part of Zakaria's life since the day they met, starting off friends and progressing from there. There weren't many people he cared for only the pack, but Dia was different Dia was his girl and that was all he cared about.

Marshall just laughed. "You're not breaking any rules unless you get caught, darling." He purred, just leaning back on his hands, ignoring the way the dirt pushed against his palms and dirtied them. His eyes still had that glint, that sparkle of mischief that they seemed to always possess without fail. But his expression remained light-hearted, seeing the petite blond across from him as no threat to himself, or his pack. Strange, considering they were from rival packs. They should've shared no more than an angry growl and went on their ways, but no, here they were, talking as if they were high school sweethearts. It was only a matter of time before Marshall accidentally pushed a boundary, whether it was taking a foolish step over the boundary line, or making a comment he shouldn't- especially to the rival beta. Not only was he from Dawnchild, but he was just a delta as well. Lower ranked and rivaled. Oh boy, fate had funny ways of screwing Marshall over.
But his cocky smirk faded into that of surprise, and perhaps fluster. His cheeks tinted red from Yui's comment, the scarlet hue flushing across his cheeks and nose for a moment, until he managed to flash another playful smile. The boy ran his thumb across his own bottom lip, seemingly trying to think of a response, like he had forgotten his own name. "Marshall, but most people just call me Marsh," he started with a smile, and then quickly added, "and what about you, darling? Is your name as cute as your face?" Wow, smooth flirting there bud.

[fieldbox=Akinli Magnus Smith, #008B8B, solid]If you were to ask Akinli Magnus Smith what he enjoyed about life; well he could give you a long list of everything he enjoyed, ranging from the sunrise to sunset. However, he would also be able to give you a long list about many things he didn't like and for a good fifty reasons, it would begin with his father. Currently Akinli was currently walking around the house that belonged to Black Torch Walkers. Now Usually the male was a relaxed male, and there weren't many things in this world that could get him riled up...okay that was wrong. He was hot tempered, very hot tempered and there were a lot of things that mostly set him on edge and once again that had to relate to his father. Crossing his arms over his chest, he let out a long sigh and paced back and forth the room as he raked his fingers through his hair. If he was being honest, he wasn't really sure why he was so uptight.

There were times that he was fine, then again there were times that he got upset for no reason and one of the reasons he got so over worked was because he was inside his mind way too much. Akinli Smith was one of those people that would think too much about certain things, why the world spins, why lakes are filled with fish or why his father cheated on his mother...multiple times. Not only that but why his father had tried to kill his youngest half sister.

Usually he would go out with a sword and whack something or do some training but lately with all the stress that was going on in his life his asthma was starting to pick up. Stress and training didn't mix too well. Heaving a big sigh, Akinli closed his eyes briefly and gazed up towards the ceiling, thinking back to the talk he had with his mother just a couple weeks ago. His youngest half-sister was attacked just a couple weeks ago and she had claimed that it was a big black wolf that lunged at her. His father had been missing for a good five years and it was at that moment he decided to show up and make his move? The young male clenched his fists and let out a low growl at the thought. He needed to clear his mind, find someone to take his mind off of his jerk of a father who cheated on his mother multiple times and then tried to kill one of his own.

"Corrinnia." He whispered to himself as he went to go find the female. Since he could remember, those two had been extremely close, their fathers were best friends (and both deserved to be dead) and in turn those two had become best friends. She knew everything about him, sometimes she knew him better than he knew himself. Corrinnia was his best friend and the one he loved. Making his way through the house he searched for the one that would calm down his nerves, the one he could spill ever single detail to. He had yet to tell her about what happened with his youngest sister, McKenna and he just needed to get it off his chest.

Finally, after awhile he found her and a faint smile spread across his face before he could stop it. It was just natural, it was one of those stupid lovely dovey things where you just smile when you see someone that you really love being around. "Mida Mahigan." He breathed out softly and moved towards her, feeling as the tension left his body. "You busy? I need to talk to you about something...you know get this weight off my chest." Akinli confessed, giving her a faint smile.[/fieldbox]

Life was a complicated path... Full of wicked and happy times varying in every sense. That would truly be the way Cora would explain her own to be from the age of eighteen. It was always one that tested her will and strength against all things. Her mind swarmed as she stood out on the balcony of her bedroom that overlooked the vast overlay of woodland as far as the eye could see and well trust her , she had some of the finest about to be witnessed. She folded her arms with ease down upon the railing of the cold railing as her eyes all but drifted shut for a mere moment. The Elder's had been on her case as of late adding onto her stress even further than need be.. Her father had escaped from their custody nearly two year's ago on a day much like this ones.. That monster deserved to rot away in chains for the rest of his existence until the last breath left that unstable body of his.. Yet , the man was freely running about heaven knows where , causing chaos and murder wherever he wanted without any ruling placed over that of himself. She feared for what he would do if he came back and without a doubt he WOULD. Time after time , she would warn the Elder's to place the town and inner town members on higher guard. Yet , every time her lips would part to tell them such they would silence her and tell her that her worries were misplaced in something that to them would never become that of anything major to place worry or concern over.

A sigh broke forth lowly from that of her parted crimson lips as she took a deep breath to all but inhale the surrounding air current. Every pack member's scent lit aflame in that of her nose , each vastly different from that of the next one. She knew all of them far to well and as the Alpha it was her duty to recall them .. Her paled violet one's pierced widely open as she caught Gwen's scent wafting through her nostrils.. It was than she realized her scent was mingled with that of another.. One of no relation to that of her pack.. She knew it though all to well for she had fought countless times with the one of whom it belonged to. Issac Carstairs , the Alpha to Dawnchild who held claim over the neighboring woods.. A frustrated growl fell forth from her lips as she listened from afar to that of Gwen running that way. Damn her... Time after time , she prayed to herself that she had been mistaken to believe that Gwen would betray the trust of her pack.... Of her own Alpha and friend. The fact she had chosen secrecy over blunt honesty skyrocketed that of her own anger to a new level. Disappointment and anger all but coursed through her blood at the betrayal she had denied for so long to exist. Little to Gwen's own knowledge , she had been tracked for weeks on end to determine where she had been scampering off to. Now , the evidence was clearly laid before her and all that was left was to take swift action and deal with that of Gwen's deceit.. Dia and Yu were the people... Her own Beta's she would have to talk on it with before all and those arrogant Elder's.

The wind slowly picked up as it twined and whipped against her darkened locks as if they were to take flight. Her eye's fell hazy as she turned lightly on the heel of her bare feet as she retreated back within that of her bedroom. The fire blazed warm in the fireplace as it cracked and sizzled in the given process. She came to her bed as she all but collapsed down upon it with a light sounding ruffle. She laid down lightly on her side as her eye's befell the picture at her bedside. There , laid a framed photo of her and Akinli.. His arm's about that of her waist and her's curled to his neck as their forehead's remained rested to one another's with a gentle expression framed to both of their features. There was one of the few people who made her guard and soft side tumble down in a instant. Just with one look from him , she would melt within and smile no matter the case. They were childhood friends turned best friends and boyfriend and girlfriend.. They knew each other inside and out and he was the only one capable of calming her when her anger blew up and lost all control once had... Her bloodlust even came to top that of Drew's own at times which was fearful to all who in her pack knew her to let occur.

She had been skimming her fingertips over the picture to all but hear her bedroom door creak widely open. She quickly drew up , only than to have her eye's befall that of Akinli making his way into her room with a warm smile held to his mouth.. A smile quickly came to curve to her crimson red lips as her violet eye's fell from their clouded state to a calmed one." Mida Mahigan.." Her words fell forth softly as she allowed her hand to curve to that of his own. Cora could instantly tell that there was something on his mind and it for certain was eating away at him at a steady pace. It was than her other hand came to cradle softly to his cheek as she chased away her own worries within to focus on him. Her eye's held to him in a concerned sense as she guided him down to sit on the edge of the bed beside her." You can tell me anything and you know that.. I noticed you had been acting off but didn't want to poke at you on it. So , tell me what has been eating away at you , Mister." Her smile remained framed to her features as her hand remained cradled in that of his own as her head came to rest gingerly soft to his broad shoulder to listen to him.

Yui was still slightly irritated that his time had been interrupted, but when the male spoke up, Yui scoffed. "With the direction that the wind is blowing right now, we would both be dead. Heck, if anyone in my pack hears about it, were dead meat. It's bad enough that I can smell Gwen from here, per usual. So I will stick with my secret hidey hole." He said, crossing his legs and flddling with the strings. By the time Yui had looked back up at the male, he had caught the blush spreading wide across his cheeks and flooding towards his ears. 'Ah, so he is attracted.' Yui mused to himself in his head, a soft smirk coming to his face as the male, apparently named Marshal, responded to his question.

"Yuimiko." Yui stated simply, his teeth tugging at his bottom lip a bit as he looked over at Marsh, fighting off a large and overconfident grin. "I would hardly call it cute, that's why people call me Yui~ Or Yuki if you want." He said happily, leaning forward to place his elbows onto his crossed legs, brightly colored and currently grey eyes (from contacts of course) peer at Marsh. Normally even the gay guys didn't go for people like him, all bright, flashy and cutesy with mascara, eyeliner and cutesy style.

From her spot on the couch she could hear Gwen enter and she smiled softly. "Hey Gwen, I am doing pretty well and you?" Val liked the Black Torch Walker girl just fine she was sweet and her alpha's mate. She never question her alpha at all. She was carrying on a conversation with Gwen; when she felt her hair being ruffled and she knew of only one person who would ruffle her hair like that, Michael. When she heard the "hey kid." She let out a playful growl. She swung around to nail him in the chest playfully but he dodge. "See you later you two. Gwen you know to call me if you need me right." She laughed and followed her mate's scent down to the kitchen when her phone buzzed off in her pocket. She read Jess's message and sighed some Jess was one of the pack member that really didn't like the relationship of her Alpha. ~Yeah she is here... once I am done harassing my mate. I will come find you at the place.~ Val knew her surrogate little sister pretty well to know where she would go when things like this happen.
She ran into the kitchen just seen him leaving out back. She knew he was going to smoke and she growled knowing how many times she told him to kick that habit. She snuck out behind him and pounced on his back. "Exactly how many times have I told you to stop this infernal habit, old man." She growled lowly and playfully in his ear.

Marshall smiled pleasantly, glancing back up at Yui as he spoke. "Yui... I was right, it is a cute name." He hummed, resting his chin on his hand, almost resembling that of a lovesick puppy. Which was ironic, because he was a wolf shifter. Marshall did have a thing for blondes, blondes with pretty eyes and cute smiles. But he hadn't felt a pull this strong before. It was like there was a rope tied to both of them, and if he tried to pull away, it would loop him right back in. It wasn't like the feeling of butterflies you'd get when looking at your child-hood crush, you know, the feeling of weak hands and rapid heartbeats. No, this feeling felt different to him. It was a feeling of safety, almost like he was home. He was drawn in, stuck in a spot where he should be running away, but here he was, tempted to walk closer to sit beside Yui instead of across from him, stuck behind an invisible wall that kept him away.

He seemed to think on what Yui had said, glancing back towards his territory. He didn't feel nervous. "What are they gonna do, smack our noses and tell us we've been bad boys?" He snorted, looking back to Yui. "We're not crossing the boundary line. They can't get their panties in a twist just because we're chatting." Marshall said, despite the fact that deep down inside, he knew he could very well get his ass whooped for conversing with a rival pack member.

Yui smiled, a soft blush coming to his own cheeks as he raked a hand through his hair. "Well, you could say that I guess. I don't think it is, I think I was the one who made it cute in the first place." He jested, brushing the soft spiky tendrils out of his eyes to avoid trying to hide behind them. Marsh was just staring across at Yui, who was sitting there like a little baby deer, waiting for prey to come along and feast. He was exposed, open, and for once not surrounded by his pack. A flicker of a thought passed through his brain. 'Maybe he is lying. Heck, with those people across the border he might be.' Yui thought, his back stiffening a bit. 'I guess it couldn't hurt to talk, but I have to make sure things don't get too crazy. Anything big and my alpha would kill me.' He thought, tugging at his lip again.

"Well, for you maybe. For me it's a lot harsher. You know, being a beta and all." Yui stated, his gaze flickering across the male for a moment before looking back down at his boots. He was biting back all the words of what it was like to live alone, a thought he had not dared to think for many many years. He hated the feeling of being alone, yet to some degree he needed it. But the fear of letting his own dark opinions about himself take over overwhelmed that.

As Mason launched into his evaluation of which of his hands would be better for slapping, Terra raised her eyebrow. His show about the situation made it obvious that he was aware she was merely joking when she asked him to hit her the next time she wanted to read a fictional book. Still, she did wonder which hand she would prefer... probably the right one. She had always been the type of person who faced things head on instead of putting it off to be dealt with later, something she could also apply to pain.

A light laugh escaped the blonde as she imagined the book dancing on her grave. Mason always knew how to paint a picture, that was for sure. "No one's died, except for the dad, but that's how the book starts off anyways, and..." Trailing off, Terra shook her head. "I shouldn't ruin it for you, you might want to read it sometime. Basically, the book is just tragic and hurts your feelings. But it's not about people dying... more about the effect of death."

Terra was thankful for Mason going on a tangent about who of the two were really lazy, because she had come to him to escape her feelings. Somehow talking about the book causing said feelings was not helping. Playfully, Terra rolled her eyes are the male, shaking her head. "I think your logic is flawed," she informed him, taking on a matter-of-fact tone, as she often did in an argument. "And, Wikipedia isn't exactly reliabl-"

Her sentence was caught off by the larger werewolf, who suddenly pinned her down to the bed with his leg. "Hey!" she shouted when she looked over and realized he was downing what was left of her tea, squirming beneath his weight. Sadly, he was stronger than her, and she was only able to get up once he released her. Mason's teasing words became background noise as she reached for her cup, looking sorrowfully down at the now empty space within it.

Once he was finished speaking, Terra turned her head to him and glared. "Jerk," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, sticking her tongue out at him. She then rose from his bed, holding the cup with both her hands wrapped around it. Just as she was about to leave the room to make herself some more, Terra has an idea. She swirled around on her heel to face her lifelong friend, throwing the mug at his chest.

Once Mason was holding it, Terra climbed back on his bed, throwing herself on top of him. She put her head on his shoulder, tilting her head to look up into his eyes. "Will you please make me some tea?" She asked, her eyes pleading. Mason had always acted the typical older brother towards her: Playfully mean, but likely to cave whenever puppy-dog eyes are activated. She pouted out her lower lip, breathing in his scent. "Pleaaase... It'll make me so happy..."

Aly sighed and closed the cookbook in front of her. She slumped sideways in her seat, laying across the countertop. "I'm too bored to even bake." She sighed rather dramatically. "Who wants to go for a run? Or a swim maybe?" She asked. The question was to no one in particular, just to whoever else wanted to join her. Grabbing her cookbook, she slid off the seat and put the book away in a cupboard full of various cookbooks. "I'm heading out after I get changed. Last call to join me." She said, making her way out of the room towards her bedroom. She changed into an olive toped bikini with brown bottoms. Over it she wore grey athletic shorts and a grey tanktop. She came back into the kitchen as she gathered her hair up into a ponytail.

Dia couldn't help but get the feeling that something was wrong with her Alpha, her emotions were a bit frustrated and what was that, upset. She had always had a bit of a stronger bond with the woman. She had grown up with her, they were best friends, and when the time came for her to be the alpha well Dia was the first one to step up. She had the proof of it on her back, and on the bottom of her foot. Closing her eyes, she took in the emotion that was rushing over her Alpha, and then she felt another sort of emotion, an her dark eyes shooting open, as she hid the grin behind her bottle. She knew where Cora was, and well she wasn't going to intrude. Diamanda had the ability to shut it off. Shaking her head, she leaned back to watch the rest in the kitchen.

Dia couldn't help but get a smirk on her face when Zak, his scent was one very common to her. He was one of the few that she had gotten close to. She didn't open up, and still a few things were a bit closed off to him, but it was going there. Beside Cora, Zak had attempted to make his way to get to know her. There time together had been a bit of a surprise to Cora, but in the end she blessed it, and they were happy for it. Dia pushed him with her foot, as she gave him that devious look, as she looks down at her robe, those eyes flicking back to him"Aye, it was eventful, I tried to wake you, but you seemed to be a deep sleep.I mean I could have found other ways to wake you, but then I would have missed my rotation." she said slipping off the counter, as she gave him a full frontal hug and a kiss on the cheek. Not really caring of the others in the room at the moment. None the less, she stepped back from him and finished off the rest of her beer, "So what are your plans for the day?" she noted what Alianne, and gave her a nod of recognition, but her full attention was still on her boyfriend now.

Marshal just chuckled. "I think you could have a name like Howard and still be absolutely adorable." He purred, leaning forward on his hands again. Even though Yui had looked down, Marshal could not tear his eyes off him. Grey-blue that seemed so cold in color had suddenly looked so warm in spirit, and the little grin he was sporting right now made his entire aura look playful and warm. As the wind blew in his direction, he'd catch a scent of the other, an overwhelming scent of rosewater, and once more, he wished he could just hop the boundary line. For a moment, Marshal seemed to be in a daze, Yui's scent filling up his senses until he swore that he was in a rose-filled meadow. He blinked owlishly as he came back to reality, giving a little shake of his head to clear his mind, but that's when the other's comment got his attention.

"Whoah, you're the beta?" He asked, his eyes going a little wide. So not only was he talking to a rival member, but their beta at that. Man, Marshal seemed to just find every way to piss on the rules. He gave a little shake of his head again, the smirk going back in place. "Should I bow? It would be my pleasure to kiss your hand." He said with a little snicker, pushing his dark, messy hair out of his eyes as he spoke.

Yui raised an eyebrow, a soft and sweet laugh escaping his lips. Yui just didn't seem to have the heart to hate him with how sweet he was being. Yet his insides still nagged at him that it was the wrong thing to do. He couldn't have a relationship with another pack, especially their beta. Sure, it was just a beta, but his alpha would have his head and Marshe's for going on like this. "Well thank you. You are a lot nicer than most of the Dawnchild wolves I have meet so far." Yui managed, tucking his dyed locks behind his ear.

Upon seeing Marsh's reaction, the soft smile on Yui's face turned into a smirk, and his feet came out to rest in front of him. His ego was getting way too big at this point. "Well, you don't have too, but I guess this could be considered payment." Yui said, his boots sitting dangerously close to the line. "If you want, you can kiss my feet while your down there." Yui jested, letting his arms rest behind his head as he waited for Marsh to say something sarcastic back to him.

Isaac smiled widely as Gwen reacted to the ring. He was glad she liked it -- Isaac loved her, and he had been meaning to give her something meant to symbolise that love for quite a while. However, it had never felt like the right time, what with them being in different packs and the Black Torch Walkers' Alpha hating the Dawnchild pack with a fiery passion. Isaac had never felt the need for such violence and conflict, but he needed to do what was right for the pack.

However, he also needed to do what was right for him which, of course, was Gwen. "I'm glad you like it," he said, catching her gaze with his own. "I love you, too. More than you can imagine." He leaned forward, brushing his hand down her arm as he kissed her deeply. He took her hands between his own and kissed them. "I'm so grateful to have you," he continued. "I'm the luckiest man alive. I'm just so sorry that this is all so inconvenient for you, what with the other Alpha and such."

After making one final kill, Allison grabbed the three deer by the legs and pulled them in her mouth in the direction of the pack house. I'm bringing these home, she thought to the pack. I'll see you guys later. She ran home, managing to bring her kills back quickly. After reaching the pack house, Allison dragged her kills into the back yard, where she would skin and butcher them later with some of the other Deltas, and swiftly shifted into her human form. Before she went inside, Allison shrugged on her jeans and black-and-white flannel.

She quickly ran upstairs to get properly changed, donning underwear and her jacket, before she walked down to the rec room to find Maggie. The house reeked of cherry blossom; the alienation of the scent made it seem more prominent. Despite the owner of the scent belonging to the other pack, Allison knew exactly who it belonged to -- Gwen, Isaac's little girlfriend from the Black Torch Walkers.

"Does he not even care that he's breaking the treaty?" Allison asked Maggie as she sat beside her best friend on the sofa. She did not need to clarify herself, as Maggie and Allison bitched about the Alpha's controversial relationship enough for it to be a common topic between the two. "Honestly, he's basically asking for an attack."

Drew grimaced when Dia told her when she would be on the next hunt. She wanted to hunt now, rather petulantly, but not even Drew would actually cross the Betas, or the Alpha. She finished her steak, taking care to lick the blood from her fingers, and closed the fanfiction on her phone. She left the kitchen without another word, leaving the prominent stench of fresh blood behind her.

Drew climbed the stairs to her bedroom, where she immediately crossed to her closet and pulled out her leather leggings and a fur jacket, which she had also made from a dead wolf's pelt. She dressed in these clothes and her chunky combat boots -- her 'hiking' gear, if hiking entailed stalking through the woods petulantly.

Drew walked until she almost reached the Dawnchild's territory. She stopped herself from crossing the border. While she would have liked to jump in and cause a fight between her and a few Dawnchild wolves, she would not be responsible for the war between the packs that would probably ensue. She was about to turn and walk back to the pack house, when a jet-black wolf appeared through the trees. Not one of hers. A Dawnchild.

Drew's claws shot out of her fingers and her lips pulled back to reveal huge fang-like canines. A deep, guttural growl built up in her chest as she shrugged her fur jacket off, not wanting it to rip if she decided to attack. Drew did want to attack, but that changed when she looked at the wolf. Something was ... special ... about this one. Regardless, Drew kept her predatory stance.

[fieldbox="Maggie Shawcross, #ff00ff, solid, 10, Curlz MT"] Maggie rolled her eyes as Isaac and Gwen left to go to their room. She couldn't stand the bitch. She huffed lightly, turning to Allison as she sat down. "Hey sweetie." She greeted, shoving her phone in her pocket. "Right? I don't know what he's thinking." She then lowered her voice so only Allison could hear. "Sometimes I think about telling her pack." She then shook her head. "And I would, but it would probably turn out bad for the rest of us too." She then looked in the general direction of Isaac's room from where she sat. "He's putting us all in danger with that woman being here." Shaking her head again, she gave a smile to Allison. "So how was hunting? Get anything good?"

Maggie was not one to share what she had chosen as hers. This applied to things and people. Long ago, despite her feelings never being reciprocated, she had marked Isaac as hers in her mind. Of course, it wasn't a literal marking. She wasn't that creepy. But she really hated when he ignored her for someone not even part of their pack. He was endangering them all if the Alpha of the Black Torch Walkers found out about their little affair. It felt like betrayal that he cared more about her than he did his family.[/fieldbox][fieldbox="Keno Heeren, #993300, solid, 10, Courier"] Keno shook his head when offered a beer, deciding to keep munching his chips. He was about to after another handful, when Cassie came by and stole them. He narrowed his eyes at her, but just turned to wash his hands. No need for a confrontation over something so petty. He chuckled a bit when Cassie asked about Joachim. "Yeah, he walked through here with a pretty disgusted look, so I assume he's off somewhere. Probably texting, as usual." He shrugged. He wasn't his brother's keeper. But he did know that he loved to text people.

He leaned against the counter, wiping his wet hands on his pants, watching the girls converse, then seeing his brother walk through the kitchen. "Well, well. Speak of the devil and he shall appear." He said, smirking at him. The younger werewolf was shielding his eyes from the sight of Drew snacking on raw meat, all the while his left thumb was poking at his phone. Keno shook his head, looking up when Alianne invited people out. "I would, but I've got some stuff I gotta do." He waved to the group, heading to his room. He pulled out his phone, texting Selene.
>Hey, I want to see you. Where are you?[/fieldbox][fieldbox="Joachim Heeren, #339966, solid, 10, Poor Richard"] Joachim grinned when she responded. Thank Christ, something to do.
>Hold up, I'm coming down
He responded, quickly walking back to the kitchen, gagging at the smell of blood and covering his eyes. He didn't say anything as he passed, not feeling like provoking the teasing. He was a werewolf who hated blood. He ate his steak well done. He didn't mind mystery meat. He was weird, and he didn't mind. Once outside, he took a deep breath of fresh air, and started down to the lake.

"Hey Blaize." He greeted, sitting next to her. "How's life?" He asked, giving her a smile. "I was just almost tormented with raw meat." He told her with a small laugh. He took his aversion to blood lightly. He didn't mind light teasing. It was weird, after all, and he knew it. [/fieldbox]

Aly sighed. "Alright, I guess I'm going alone." She said. "I'll be at Silver Mist Falls if anyone needs me for anything." Aly called over her shoulder as she exited the kitchen once more. Once outside the Pack House, the brunette shifted. A sleek, russet wolf bounded down the trail in her place. Running as a wolf was always quicker, and quiet frankly, more fun. Though it was always better when she could race a Packmate down to the Falls. Instead, she settled for an easy trot, picking her way down the trails. It wasn't long before the scent of the water reached her. She picked up her pace as she heard the roar of the Falls. Still a wolf, Aly lay on the bank of the swimming hole. She hoped that someone might change their mind and join her.

Marshall chuckled again, only this time it was sounded more generally amused than flirtatious. "They're not too bad," he started, running a hand through his hair with a crooked smile, "I don't think I've ever actually spoken to a Black Torch member, now that I think of it.. " Marshall hummed, looking thoughtful for a moment. "But you're leaving a great first impression." He said. He couldn't think of a time where he had genuinly spoken to a rival pack member, the Black Torch wolves seemed more like a distant threat than they seemed to be individuals. But it was nice to have a face to the pack, especially Yui's. He wasn't sure if he wanted to meet any of Yui's pack mates, in case that image would be shattered.

Marshal started to laugh, again, a genuine laugh that made his eyes light up and his smile go wide. "Well darling, if you insist." He smirked, and then, without crossing the boundary line, he leaned down and pecked Yui's boots. Never try to out-smart the smart ass. He looked back up with a smirk, quickly bouncing back into a sitting position and staying on his territory line. "I would've kissed your hand, but I'm afraid your hand was too far away," he started as he reached out, tilting his head like a gentleman from an old silver screen movie, still trying to push down a smirk. But he was practically vibrating with choked laughter at this point. "But again, it would be my pleasure." He said, looking back up at Yui with a charming smirk once more.

Cress crouched low and deathly silent as she stalked the elk, her belly now touching the ground to hide herself. She needed to focus and be silent. She cannot let the elk see or hear her or else she's doomed! She cannot go home empty handed. No. She won't allow it. You have one shot of this she reminded herself. She knew that once she failed to capture these elks, she won't have enough time to look for another one. The deers had long gone and the rabbits went back to their holes. She could go look for a bear but she doesn't have the energy to do so. All in all, her best prey for now was elks. Besides, it was already getting late for her and she didn't want the others to worry.

She took a deep breath and relaxed her muscles, letting her paws feel the earth under it before she let out at a sinister growl and pounced. Immediately, her sharp claws dug deep into the elk's rump. She was about to bite it tender meat when an odd smell filled her senses, causing her to lose focus and get kicked by an elk. It seems like the rest of the herd heard the commotion and they immediately ran away Cress whimpered and growled, seeing that all her preys are getting away. Damn it! She can still chase after it! Especially the limping onr but her body seems to have a mind of its own. Instead of going after the prey, her body turned around and began walking towards the source of the odd scent.

"Charred wood..orange blossoms...blood" Cress whispered with each step and each breath, her eyes closed as she savors the scent. There was something exotic and alluring about the scent that makes Cress crave more. It was an odd and startling combination especially when she smelled blood but somehow, she finds the scent attractive and addictive. Taking a huge deep breath, she noticed that the scent is getting stronger and stronger. She took s couole of more steps and a couple of more whiffs until....

"Torchwalker!" she growled, quickly opening her eyes and taking a defensive stance. Of course the heavenly scent was from a Torckwalker! How stupid can she be! It must be one of their new tactics! Have developed some kind of addictive perfume to conceal their real scent? No.. That's just absurd! But perhaps the torchwalkers made it to lure them in? To break the treaty?

Letting out a guttural growl, Cress bared her teeth towards the Torchwalker. Towards the beautiful, sexy and... Just what is happening to me?! she growled with frustration, shaking her head furiously before looking at the girl in front of her. She was feeling a bit mad but at the same time intrigued. She was mad that because of the girl in front if her, her prey got away but she was intrigued as to why she had never seen her before. Is it because Cress always stays inside the house and never near the border?

"Grrrrr.... Torchwalker! What are you doing here?! Because of you I've lost my kill! And why do you smell...different?!
