The year is 2012 and the next holy grail war is set to begin with the last ending in a flat out no-contest with the death of one of the magi ending in two friends left forcing them to call it a draw as neither side wanted to end the other. The last war was held in Fuyuki city and now it seems to be held there once more due to the failure of the previous masters to seek a draw. However the pent up magic from the previous war seems to have caused unfortunate consequences in this war as well. As the masters begin to gather and summon their servants it would seem that there is a specific clause for this particular war. An enforcement made by the guardians of the grail itself. The grail's magic in the last war seems to have somehow been used to reawaken old bloodlines of magisters and has caused an influx of a new group of potential candidates whom all seem to wish to take on the chance to win this new power despite some being slow to learn, others have quickly mastered their powers.
The war is just beginning and the stipulation has been sent out by the neutral priest in charge of the war.

The groups shall break up into teams of seven people. The winners of the war shall all receive one minor wish granted to them personally due to the nature of the war the grail's magic may end up needing to be shared among the winning party. Though how they are to team up is up to them there will need to be two sides of the war anyone who refuses to side with a party is allowed to continue fighting in the war however they will be outnumbered, and possibly eliminated quickly. To this end the neutral party has inclined to offer a meet up at his large home for those who wish to become a part of a side without having to seek out other masters by themselves. They also intend to announce an interesting amendment to the team rule for those that arrive there This war is setting up to become a mess as rules have been changed and old rivalries have been resurrected from long past eras. What shall come of the war is up to the masters and the servants who fight for them.

Rules:
1. All Standard Roleplay Rules Apply. Power Playing, God Modding, and other assorted non-sense is not allowed.
2. No over powered servants. Demi-Gods, and servants such as Gilgamesh, Beserker Lancelot/Hercules, and folks of that nature are not allowed.
3. I must approve of your characters personally before allowing them into the roleplay. Characters not approved do not get noticed in the IC.
4. PVP is allowed and will be taken up in the arena however BOTH parties must agree to the battle in order to prevent random player killings in the middle of the roleplay.
5. Everyone starts with three command seals.
6. 2 Noble Phantasm limit on Servants. This is to prevent power playing, and shenanigans.

Personality:

Respectful and honest Leon was raised to be a gentlemen by his parents. He always keeps it in mind to treat people fairly regardless of gender, or age. He doesn't tend to look down on people but he does occasionally feel the need to look down on certain people who he feels do not deserve respect. Contrary to this however he is very much an elitist mage and feels that people who look down on him as a magus, or to those can't properly control their magic are beneath him in this regard. He views talent, and hard work is better than prestige or glory. Though he seeks to be the best magus he could possibly be he doesn't intend to get there through ill gotten means however he believe the holy grail is his chance to increase the chances of him making breakthroughs in his skill even if it means using it as a crutch.

He intends to look on any partner he receives in the grail war as a partner and as Master of Saber he takes great pride in his servant. He personally views Saber as a close friend of his, and doesn't intend to let him die if he can help it. Though he understands Saber's attitude when it comes to his convictions and allows him to act on them when he can but he is willing to use command seals if he needs to in order to make sure Saber doesn't make a mistake he will regret. He has full trust in his allies, and his servant is no different in this regard. Leon will fight with Saber until he is no longer able to do so himself though he intends to let Saber do most of the work as to maximize their shared mana pools. While not a coward Leon is willing to back away from a fight if it means he can win a future one.

Biography:
Born in a rural town in the Midwest of America he was the son of a well known magus duo whose families hail from Ireland, and Scotland. His parents were teachers, and instructors of magical arts and worked for the Mage Association's American branch. His parents had great hopes for him, and knew he would be a strong mage someday if they instructed him properly. Though his grand father (mother's side) disliked the idea of forcing on him his parents' highly disturbing fondness for exploring Magecraft he was none the less forced to agree that his parents had the right to raise their child as they saw fit.

Growing up around magi scholars would be both a boon, and a disadvantage for young Leon whom would grow up with some social issues. He would be so used to magic that his parents would have to put spells on him when he was around normal humans to temporarily prevent him from using magic even accidentally. He also knew better than to talk about magic to others and lacking very few other hobbies Leon would make very few friends with normal people. He would also need to work on both normal school curriculum alongside his Magi training that his parents put him through since he was able to comprehend basic level spells. Despite this his parents did indeed very much care for their child, and wanted him to reach his full potential so that one day he could become a strong magus.

He would continue to have very few friends into his teenage years where his father, and grand father would both personally start to teach him their own specialized magical forms. His father was a masterful wind mage, and his grand father knew water magics as well as anyone. He had shown an affinity for both early on in his life and he appreciated his father pushing and leaning on him more than his grand father otherwise he may have never discovered his limits and how to stay within them. He had high ambitions of one day perhaps running his own guild within the magical community, and one of his friends, Gabriel Mackindley, would prove to be a worthy rival as he pushed on Leon to keep himself on his toes. He cherished what few close friends he had, and was grateful for them. Within time he started to develop a certain reputation within his circle of magicians, and even some others as 'The Black Hand Magus' after beating many opponents in a dueling arena while wearing his signature black glove on his left hand. It was not anything he had expected and he only wore the glove because it was a gift from his grand mother whom was also a duelist in her time.
Before he really knew it he was growing into a young adult, and his skills with magic were becoming stronger with each fight as he figured out new ways to use them.

Though he was worried he was going to hit his limit soon enough. His parents came to him one day and informed him that he had been chosen by the grail in the upcoming Fuyuki War he had not expected for him to receive such an honor but was then informed for some reason the Grail has selected several extra candidates as well for the war and that his parents had managed to gather this information earlier than expected as the grail war was planned for the next upcoming month. With little time to prepare his grand father, now aging and in a retirement home, offered him a small box of ashes of a legendary hero he had found during his visits as a young man. Leon initially wanted to decline and take a catalyst from the Association but he was talked into it by his mother. Within the week he had prepared the summoning requirements and after a tense summoning session managed to summon Lancer into this world. Lancer was glad to be brought back into the world and the first thing she did was marvel at the beautiful night sky once more. However Leon, was confused unaware of whom he had summoned and flabbergasted by the beauty in front of him. After a moment she declared that she would be his protector from now on and he would be her hero. Leon, and Lancer traveled to Japan shortly after with his friend Satsuko whom was teaching him Japanese in preparation for the war. Leon's hope is that he, Satsuko, and Lancer can all return home one day and now resides in Fuyuki waiting for the war to actually start.

Brynhild Romantia: Until Death Divide the Two Apart (死がふたりを分断つまでブリュンヒルデ・ロマンシア, Shi ga Futari wo Bundantsu madeBuryunhirude Romanshia?) is the "spear of love and hate" of Lancer. Rather than being a true spear, it is a manifestation of her deep affection and hatred towards Sigurd having morphed with the mithril spear she used in life. Due to the betrayal of Sigurd and the subsequent damage to her honor and reputation, it was used out of revenge against him.
The spear grows heavier and larger the more she loves, and is even able to kill the goddess Hel when fully grown. While its effective targets seem limited, Lancer holds some love towards every hero due to her being a former Valkyrie. However this backfires when she uses it against Manaka Sajyou since she held entirely no love for her.

Likewise just to clarify this is indeed a high end intermediate level roleplay as indicated by my own character sheet. I'm not sure who will be mastering your character you may end up needing to master your own character.

Also Independent action does not allow for critical damage in actual fates outside of grand order. In reality his rank let's him "It is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary." so it basically lets him self function like characters Child-Gil, and David.

Edit: Also it may be worth noting that you don't need all the japanese stuff and you can clean up your own CS if you desire. As it stands it looks a bit motley but that isn't a requirement just personal preference.

Yes I know about the gunner thing, but since it's an archer subclass I thought it would work. I understand the level of writing expected, I just didn't seem many areas to write a lot about it.

I wasn't sure how to change independent action since it's from the game Fate/ Grand Order, so thank you for the help!

I will get rid of all the Japanese and clean up the sheet a little bit, I just couldn't link moves like your character, I hope someone comes along cause I do dislike playing more than one character, but that might make it easier for rp purposes and for giving orders and such.

It's all up to her/him really but I think anymore and half this rp will be Yuri interacting with themselves as a master. @cojemo may consider doing it but i'm not sure. You can make the stuff by just copy and pasting the stats from the wiki onto the character. As for the servant there's not all too much I can add to make the CS bigger for a better reason as there's no point in making people describe a historical character.

Alright, it's up to them if they wish to have my character as their servant. I'll wait until we get a response from both.
 
Glad to see this up, I will work on saber soon. If need be I don't mind playing my own master or someone else's to help out with characters.

If you aren't playing him as your character, which I'm not sure if you are or not, then you won't have all the same skills. Only class skills stay the same. Here is a complete list of skills.
 
Out of curiosity, would you permit custom Servants that aren't presently in Fateverse? Naturally I would adhere as closely to the Type-moon system as possible.

...Not unless they have some historical basis. I'm putting this as a rule to prevent alterations from already existing legends, and to prevent people from pulling skills/abilities out of thin air. Custom servants for the likes of say Assassin Mitsuhide Akechi whom is not in canon, or George Washington whom have historical records/legends to back them up. Characters rooted in legends like Robin Hood and Billy the Kid work the same way.

You can be relatively creative as long as you remember this is a church, and mage association based roleplay as such certain restrictions may be enforced or looked down upon such as vampires. I'd prefer mages not to be out of the ordinary levels of strong either like say Time Alter, or that weird magic Fate/Zero's Lancer Master used that forced Emiya to use his secret weapon.

Edit: Basically just no magic that would make it really difficult for me to find a way to out a character in case I need to for one reason or another or would dwarf the other players.

You can have two masters indeed hopefully not one for the same character but that's also fine as Satsuko is going to be an NPC acting that way for Leon who's taking hits from Brynhildr's great need for mana.

If you mean a master for other characters we definitely will need more of those probably.
