Fairy Tail: The Bitter Unknown

Guild Master, purple
Romeo watched his guild play around below, a smile on his face as he stayed hidden in the rafters. Seeing not only Arba, but Abel return, Romeo felt even more confident in his plans. After watching for a few minutes, he decides to make his move. Jumping down from the rafters he lands right in the middle of the dinning hall, crashing through a table no less. [rainbow]"Perfect timing! Welcome back Arba, Abel, I'd like you to inform me of how your missions went in a minute. For now, its time for planning."[/rainbow] His voice was loud and clear throughout the hall, though his tone was cheerful at first, it slowly became serious. Suddenly the guild doors slam shut. [rainbow]"We will not be taking jobs at this time, its too dangerous to be without our full strength when Demon Tail is knocking at our door. Sorry kids.[/rainbow]

Looking around at all the members Romeo lets out a soft sigh. [rainbow]"I know some of you are anxious and frustrated, wondering why we havent crashed into Demon Tail yet. Well the answer is simple. We dont even know if it really was Demon Tail that did this to our guild members, or some other Dark guild using their name as a mask. Even if it is Demon Tail, we have no idea what kind of powers they have, let alone what kind of magic was used on our comrades that sealed their magic away. I know the rage you all feel..."[/rainbow] Suddenly his hands burst into purple flame, his aura turning deadly, showing just how angry he truly was. The members of Fairy Tail were his children, and nobody threatens his children.

[rainbow]"But we cant rush in, not yet. Now...Whose got a plan?"[/rainbow] Suddenly the dark aura is switched to a light and innocent one as he smiles big

Max turned at hearing the Guild master speaking and looked at him. He listened closely before standing up and calmly walking forward. "In the way's of ideas... we best air on the side of caution." He said which was surprising as he normally played himself off as being rather stupid. "Now, I may have portrayed myself as slightly stupid amongst you all but lets face it, living life stupid is easier than living with everyone thinking you are very smart. They come to expect less from you if they think you are stupid. But! Right now I believe is the time I drop the curtain and begin the play." He said with a much more intelligent voice than he normally gave off.

Max had with him an aura of confidence that seem to radiate off of him "We should begin with seeing what could have possibly done this. Have some of our best reader look into the archives of the cities library's and even in our own guild's vaults for any clues. If this is in fact a lost magic or something possibly from the Neutral Zone.. lets find out what it is and isolate it. If we cant do so I say we begin by stalking our prey. Ill take a turn from my past now and apply my own past to this situation.." He said with a sigh.

"In order to learn what our enemy is thinking.. we must look into their mind and see how they act. Do we know anything on the Demon Tail other than it is a Dark Guild? I mean someone! Has to know something worthwhile here." He continued. He pointed at the S-Class members "You all should be our forefront on leadership and information. You are all ranked higher than us and should be able to handle much more.. In theory at least." He said before turning to face everyone else. "We need to get information.. for hunting blind will lead us to ruin... a wolf must smell its prey before it sees it. We must sniff out the details before we put our eyes on the prize." He said before turning silently and sitting back down to continue eating like nothing ever happened.

Armen jumped slightly at the sound of a loud crash. His body quickly shot around to see Romeo standing on top of bits and pieces of what used to be a table. His tense body relaxed slightly as the master started talking.

He found it was amazing though, the master appears and suddenly everyone, even the rock heads, quiet down and become serious... then again, what the master started discussing was no laughing matter. This was a dire situation that could potentially wipe out the guild but somehow just looking at Romeo made him feel like that was impossible. No that wasn't quite right, he pushed his glasses up with two fingers as he inwardly scolds himself, this was no time to be thinking like a child. Of course Romeo was beatable...

Then what should they do? The easiest plan was to wait for Demon Tail to show themselves and just pummel whoever shows up right? But that was risky, the enemy knows each and every face that belongs to fairy tale... or at least they should assume that. It is also common knowledge that they know where Fairy Tails home base is, everyone knows where Fairy Tail is. Sitting around waiting wasn't a good idea at all... it was giving the enemy a free shot and in a fight between equals whoever shoots first wins...

What did they know... there are still eight missing members, all adults and very powerful... noted. The members that were went out came back beat up and unable to use magic, noted. Demon Tail was the name on the list, but just as Romeo said, was it a bluff? If it was a bluff then the enemy is afraid of Fairy Tails power and is using everything they can to their advantage, but on the other hand if its not is Demon Tail really that powerful? He doubted they were underestimating Fairy Tail but the power to remove magic was terrifying but could that power go to someones head? Perhaps that's why they were so overconfident. Yes... they were overconfident, bound to make mistakes. Once again he created a cube in his hand and started to spin it.

So, they were up against a guild that had high confidence, it must be a real name if that's the case though he couldn't prove it. They already knew the location of Demon Tail and since they were a Dark Guild no one would be upset is Fairy Tail decided to wipe them out. However might not solve the problem, what if it really was a set up? What if they were against a very crafty opponent? What if all his reasoning was wrong? Sending enough man power to wipe out Demon Tail would be the perfect diversion for an enemy. They could take out the remaining members, catch the attack team while they are returning injured but victorious... it was difficult trying to come up with a plausible plan when only given such a small amount of information. In a game of chess your opponents first move will tell you a lot about them, however this was a different situation. It wasn't as simple as a game of chess...

He cube stopped spinning as he looked up and listened to Max take a swing. Some of what Max said was true, they couldn't just rush in and expect everything to be ok and they needed information. Perhaps they needed to send stealthier members after Demon Tail, those that could observe from far away, and of course they would have to send some seriously strong members out to back them up should anything happen. If they could infiltrate Demon Tail that would be even better, however that was a farfetched idea. Then they would have to strengthen defense, set up traps, and see what information they could get out of the members who were attack. Perhaps Warato could find out more about them. Out of everyone in the guild Warato, and perhaps even Kaya, would be able to get the most information out of them... why wasn't Warato one of the ones who tried treating the injure guild members in the first place?

The library wouldn't have had anything... but Max had a point, looking through the guilds vaults, now that was an idea. They should definitely send a team to that tower that Romeo said the legend himself Natsu and his team used... what was that called again? The Magic Library! That's it. But of course they would also need to equip each group with at least one pair of Gale-Force Reading Glasses. Otherwise collecting information would take too long...

He had pleanty of questions he wanted answered. Of course he wanted general information on Demon Tail, everyone did, but he also had an interest in absorption magic. He had a feeling that specific magic, or something that branched off of it, was the source of the new magic to take away someones magic. That was just a theory of course, but it made sense. It could also be a lost magic but as everyone knows lost magic take's a tole on the user and using it enough times to wipe out an entire guild? It just wouldn't make sense...

The guild hall was quite packed, like it usually was before she left. With her presence known to both Rook and Max, their demeanor suddenly changed. And even with Estelle's attempt in being a peacemaker, like she always was, it didn't work. Not on those two particular slayers. They were stubborn, and overly hyper every time they clashed with one another. However, they stopped in their tracks when they gazed upon Arba.

What came next was quite predictable. This had happened many times, and they knew exactly what was coming next. Listening to Estelle would have been a wiser option for the both of them. "Now then--" She was interrupted before she could say anything. Max tried to weasel his way out of the particular situation, whereas Rook tried to hide her fear. She was still very much adorable to her. Though the effort would have been futile, but luck was apparently on both the slayers side this time.

She had already noticed the presence of Abel, who was back after a year. Despite their absence, Arba knew him quite well, or pretty much everyone in the guild were familiar with Arba, as she was with them. Fairy Tail was her heart and her family. Before she could respond to Estelle and punish both Rook and Max, she noticed Yura and Warato walking by, followed by Armin talking to Abel next to her. She was clearly close enough to hear their conversation, and judging by Warato's expression and what he uttered next, it was exactly what the gossip at the streets entailed.

Arba knew that some of the members from Fairy Tail were missing before she ventured to Joya, but she did not know the reason behind it, even if she was eager to find them. Though their Guild Master said he'd handle it, thus she let it go, but her concern for them was always in her thoughts, in her mind. 'What?... They can use it?... And it was Demon Tail who was behind their disappearance, and the loss of their magic?' She confusingly thought to herself. Her expression was quite serious.

However, not even a split second went by before she once again, got interrupted by the voice of the lovely, Citrine. Turning her attention towards the sound, she was tackled and hugged by her. "Oi--... Citrine..." She made a sudden but humpy sound, due to the force behind that tackle. Arba was apparently not the only one she snagged with that tackle. Abel was on her right side, and it almost felt like a group hug to her.

Happy to see Citrine, a smile was plastered on her face. Her demeanor changed, despite the conversation she heard just earlier. "Citrine... I missed you too.." With her light blue eyes, she diverted her attention to Abel who was literally right next to her.

"So you're back too, huh?..." She rhetorically asked. Minutes later, she heard a crashing sound at the center of the guild hall. Looking over the bartenders shoulder, she noticed the Guild Master. A gathering had taken place and the words that came out of their Master's mouth really made her curious.

"So.. It's true then?.. They're back?.. And they've lost their magic?..." Arba was still on the ground with Citrine when she asked, though a few seconds later, she kindly pushed herself up, with her gaze locked onto Romeo, their Guild Master. She had to confirm if it was true, even if they were already planning to gather information about Demon Tail. Her expression was quite curious.

As always, being in the middle of a conversation, or able to convey his thoughts and feelings to Citrine didn't seem important, atleast to her. Nero was literally frustrated about the entire ordeal behind the part about losing and unable to use magic. He was however much more composed and concentrated, despite goofing of by the counter. Nero was indeed wrong about Citrine, he knew that, despite anything else, he did not hold a grudge or anything like that towards the guild members. 'Patience.. That's what you were going to say, right?' He completed her sentence in his mind, as he followed her with his eyes, as she happily glomped both Abel and Arba.

A small smirk came across his face. He knew he was wrong in beating up Demon Tail right from the get-go because of the situation. Looking at his fellow members really did make him think much more clearer, despite the urge to do something was bottled up inside him. Heck, it was definetely bottled up inside each and every member of Fairy Tail. He was not alone in this. "You're right Citrine.. Hopefully Master would give us some insight regarding all of this.." He uttered in the empty air, as if she was still there, standing on the other side of the counter.

Nero was in his train of thoughts, where his attention was easily brought back by none other than Sieg, who, a second later, occupied the empty seat next to him. Listening to the idea of training and to annihilate the dark guild behind all of this was quite interesting, but he decided to take Citrine's advice from their earlier conversation. "Hell, I'm all up for it, but maybe we should just wait and see what Master has to say about this.. I'm sure he's just as worked up about this like the rest of us." He made a simple respond.

His hazel eyes glanced over at the counter, which had Estelle on the other side, wiping it clean. "Estelle.. What do you think?.." He decided to ask for her opinion, now that Sieg was there as well. Before she could respond a loud noise was heard right behind him, a few meters away. it was none other than Romeo, who always or most of the time, made them flashy entrances.

He turned around, with his back against the counter. Along with the rest of the guild members, they were all looking at Romeo. "Lets see what Master has to say.. Sieg.." He stated, before keeping quiet. After Master was done talking, he noticed that Max out of all people, spoke up.

To him, Max was somewhat different than the rest. He did not expect him to actually come up with an intelligent idea. However, Nero clearly agreed with what he said, despite his own usual nature to do it the other way around, instead of finding the right information first.

He pushed himself off of the seat, followed by him pocketing his hands in his grey pants. His eyes were somewhat dimmed, though his expression was serious, but could be seen as a careless and a lazy one. His hazel eyes however, were dead serious. Glancing over at both Max and the Guild Master, he decided to intervene.

"I would rather wipe the floor with Demon Tail.. But if they are really not behind it, then exactly how do we find the right information? Check the vaults like you said? Would that help? Or the library? If the people behind this are this smart and are framing another guild.. Do you really think the answer to our questions is in the vault?" He took a small pause before he diverted his full attention towards Max.

"I like your idea, but if we're not sure, why dont we all just ask Demon Tail? They are a dark guild... They may give us the information.. But if they don't.. They are hiding something.. Though every dark guild is always hiding something.. However, if they are not behind this, I am sure they wouldn't want to end up fighting us, and may just give us the information we need.. Because after all.. They may be framed right?... Thus, we would be sharing a common goal, to find who is behind all of this.." The resolve in Nero's eyes did not waver, though he was almost done with his little rant.

"Of course.. It's a dark guild nonetheless.. Thus we'll be taking precautions just in case they have something else in mind... But, one way or another, we'd get some answers, and at the same time, remove Demon Tail from the equation..." A troublesome sigh escaped his lips, as he leaned back against the counter, and crossed his arms before his chest. His eyes were closed, as he tilted his head towards the ceiling.

'Uff.. I'm definetely not cut out to be a speaker, or a leader...' He was somewhat embarassed for what he just said. 'Well I'm done... Because that was tiring enough...' He thought to himself.

As for both Arba and Abel, they wouldn't know, they were absence because of their missions. The questions that escaped the Devil Slayers lips literally confirmed that. But with what Master, Max and Nero expressed, they should have a fairly good idea about whats going on. Nevertheless, they need to know everything. All of it, to be exact, and more thoroughly, at that.

Yura let out a soft sigh as the matter of going out and doing jobs, even small but important ones, was shot down. It was rather annoying given how relatively easy it was to make herself that much more prepared for the events of next week. Yet now she couldn't. It did have its reasons but she still disagreed. It seemed that Warato had been saved by the bell. Without much else better to do, she moved back from the door and found herself a seat next to the other S rankers given that over the course of this, they'd probably be addressed as a group.

Joe had sunk so far down in his chair that his chin was now just barely poking over the table. Just seconds after Dark had suggested that Eric go train with him, Warato had run over and had begun begging like his life depended on it. Then the guild master had descended and brought up all sorts of things that just made him sink lower.

"If Demon Tail didn't do it, can't we visit them anyway? We can send a few people in and talk it out. If they did it, everyone else outside comes in. If they didn't, they wouldn't have to fight us. We'd be helping them by getting rid of the real bad guys. As long as we bring everyone, there won't be anyone left behind to ambush and we're probably not any safer here than there. If we sit still and leave patrols, they can pick us off. If we all stay inside, they just plant a few bombs outside," he stammered. Most of his reasoning was drawn from television and a very small shred of common sense but no one else was saying anything other than just talking about some recon and that never worked. Whenever someone sent the guards out to go look, the bad guys always took them out. At least if they stayed together they wouldn't leave stragglers and would have as much fighting force as possible in one place. The bad guys were after them, not after something else they had to protect which made this a lot simpler. Her sunk further down in his chair, though, at the thought of getting anywhere near Demon Tail.

Reimi Dragneel
Reimi sat coldly, rested her elbows on the table in front of her. She didn't want to do a job, but she didn't want to be cooped up in here all day. Other kids her age would be outside playing, while she was stuck in here all because of her grandfather. Natsu Dragneel, the one who had left her in the custody of the guild, her 'guild-mates' would always treat her like she actually volunteered to be here. Yes, she wanted to be here, but she wanted to be a normal thirteen-year-old girl, too. But since Romeo was always watching Natsu and practicing magic, meant that Reimi would be forced to live the same kind of life.

But right at that moment, Reimi actually planned on going on a job with her partner, Haruka Valentine, the one who currently sat across from her, but Romeo had to start talking about Demon Tail again. She felt bad that some of the guild members were gone, but the only one she truly cared for was Haruka. Haruka was like a big sister her, the big sister she might have, but wouldn't know about because of her deadbeat dad. No one else in the guild thought Natsu was a deadbeat; they all thought he was either a hero or a legend because of his immense power and the care for all of his guild mates. Everyone had heard about his daughter that had 'joined' Fairy Tail, but when they met her, they all questioned if she was actually related to him. The reason for that was her lack of care. It was as simple as that.

Back to the Haruka thing. Haruka pretty much was her only friend, and still is. They naturally seemed to get along, even though they had conflicting magics. Nature and Fire, one overpowered the other greatly. And that one was fire, but because of Reimi's lack of ability, their magic's evened out perfectly; not one stronger than the other.

"Haruka," Reimi sighed, staring deeply into the eyes of her friend. Reimi didn't talk much, but when she did, it was mostly to Haruka. Haruka was the only one that could get her to open up about how she felt and what she wanted, not just what everyone else thought she wanted.

Haruka Valentine
"Huh? Yeah, Reimi?" Haruka was pulled out of her not-so-deep thoughts by her partner and best friend, Reimi Dragneel. Haruka naturally got along with almost everyone, but she seemed to get along especially well with Reimi, and she didn't really understand why. But it would be rude to ask, wouldn't it? Inwardly shaking her head, she shifted her attention back to the pink-haired fire magic user, awaiting what she might say.

"I wanted to go on a job today," Reimi stated bluntly, causing Haruka to be sent back into her thoughts. Reimi wanted to go on the job, Haruka thought, a strange feeling creeping up on her. She knew it well; it was the feeling of blessing. She felt blessed to be the only one able to reach Reimi, but would never openly admit it, and she also felt blessed to have all of these guild mates beside her each day. Reimi didn't feel the same, but if Haruka didn't have all of the mages with her, then she probably would have died from anti-socialization. If that was even possible.

"Me too, Reimi," Haruka gently smiled at her, trying not to scare her out of her comfort zone. If you even smiled wrong, she could go cold to you for up to five days. She knew from experience.

Haruka slowly drifted back into her thoughts, mindlessly thinking about her past. She heard she had had it easy; lots of people told her that, and she knew that that was true. Just because you had your twin sister killed in front of you by your father, didn't mean that you had a rough life. At least in her opinion (I think it does). No one else even knew that Haruka had a sister, but she did, or at least, she thinks she did. Her name was Haruhi Valentine, and it was always Haruka and Haruhi, never a singular one, until her father got angry with Haruka for being a troublemaker, and since Haruka and Haruhi were identical, he accidentally killed the wrong girl. Not that he knew that. She felt guilty for pretending to be Haruhi, so guilty that she ran away and joined Fairy Tail.

(I just kind of put a basis of their history in there, no way is that all of it. And Haruhi's dead, so I didn't make a character for her.)

Shadow Dragon, black

Rook rolls her eyes at Max as he tried to fool Arba with very bad acting. When the Demon Slayer was tackled by a rambunctious Citrine, she sighed in relief. That was until Max suddenly threw her into the air. Scowling she flips through the air, landing on the table feet first, right in front of Max. "Why you...." She was about to get revenge when there was a sudden crash. Distracted she looks to see Romeo standing on a now broken table.

Shaking her head she cant help but smile at their Guild Master's sense of grand entrances. 'Guess hes finally gonna tell us how to deal with Demon Tail...' More interested in Romeo for the moment, she hops down from the table to sit opposite of Max. Listening to the Master's words she agreed with them, until the end where he told us to come up with a plan. A twitch started on Rook's brow 'Typical....' What she didnt expect next was Maximilian's sudden speech, giving his opinion on the matter.

When the Iron Dragon Slayer sat back down she arched a brow at him "Since when are you one for voluntary speaking?" She teased Max lightly before standing up after Yura stated her opinion. "Well first things first. Who is gonna lead us? We need some kind of leader. I vote for Arba, shes S-Class and has the right attributes for it. In my opinion." Her voice is clear and calm, if not a bit indifferent. Sitting back down she gives Arba a thumbs up with a wink

Knight Requip, blue

Dark raised an eyebrow at Ira as she maneuvered onto his lap, he let her, though he knew what she was doing. At her "Onii-chan" comment he smirked, a devilish thought coming to mind. Suddenly he wraps his long, strong arm around her back, pulling her gently closer. "Now now, if you call me that, taking me to bed will be much less fun." His voice drops an octave, his tone seductive and confident.
Knight Requip, blue
Before Ira could respond though, Dark suddenly pulls back with a mischievous grin. In his free hand was a matching pink bra and panties. "I do believe this are yours, Ira-chan~" He teases. Dark's skills were as sharp as ever, he was the master of getting girls underwear off without them even noticing.

Glancing to Romeo as he made his appearance, his teasing expression turns serious. He listened in silence as members of the guild asked their questions and stated their opinions. When Rook casted a vote for Arba as leader he raises his clothed hand. "I second that. Arba is the best fit." His tone is confident, he wouldnt mind leading himself, but he was of better use in battle than strategics

Abel, red

Abel listened to what happened to the Guild while he was gone. He wasn't exactly surprised that Fairy Tail would gather more enemies, or that a Guild would do something so horrific of stealing or sealing someones magic away and beating them close to death. It also didn't help that Abel didn't exactly...feel like he was family to Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail wasn't exactly his first Guild. It was his first 'good' guild however, he was part of a Dark Guild when he was younger. He was given a second chance early in life and the reason he was given one was because he was a 'child and didn't know better'. Despite being a part of Fairy Tail, he honestly missed his old 'Dark' Guild. They treated him like family, like Fairy Tail does, but it just doesn't feel the same to him. He just couldn't harbor the feelings of members getting injured, injured members that he didn't know.

"So, sounds like a real-" He didn't get to finish as he was suddenly forced to the ground, feeling two bodies on and beside him. He blinked a few times before noticing it was Citrine and Arba beside him. He gave a light smile to both of them before answering Arba's question. "Back for now" He would stick around and help with Demon Tail, but after that he might disappear on another mission once more. He was hardly ever around, always taking S-Ranked missions on his own and never taking a partner. He seemed to enjoy being alone.

Once Arba got up, Abel gently pushed Citrine onto her feet as he got up himself and dusted himself off. The cloak falling off his head, revealing the tattoo on his face. He also had a large black tattoo on his chest and the Fairy Tail logo on his abdomen, hidden away. The tattoo's were a symbol from his old guild and they couldn't be removed, they weren't magical like guild marks. He felt slightly ashamed that they remained, hiding his face away. His attention was dragged away when Romeo showed up and began to talk about how they were going to get Demon Tail back.

"Thank you for that....warm greeting Citrine." He muttered and pulled his cloak hood back up and looked at Romeo. Everyone was voting Arba, which was fine by him. He wasn't a leader, hardly anyone knew him and he always worked alone. "Arba has the ability for people to fall in line and listen. So she would be better off than anyone else..." He added his own opinion. Once again, he tried to find a way out of working as a group. "If it was Demon Tail...they would expect all of us to show up. I could visit Demon Tail on my own and confirm if it was them or not..." Abel was normally gone, so most people didn't even know he was part of Fairy Tail. It may help him enter Demon Tail and ask about it, hopefully they wouldn't know him.

Eric, #00CCFF
Eric's attention was drawn away from his brothers when Wataro showed up and began to speak fast about asking him to join him on a job. Eric began to contemplate going on a job because he was so damn bored, however Romeo showed up and mentioned that they couldn't accept any requests at the moment because of Demon Tail. "Sorry, maybe next time." He stood up and stretched his arms out once more, however he looked down to his brother being a perverted man and shook his head. Arguments between Eric and Dark have happened on who was 'older' by that. They mean who was born first, even though they were only a few seconds to a minute apart. He was always acting like the 'older' one between all three of them.

"You really have no class Dark." He shook his head, lightly slapping the back of Dark's head. It was more of a joke and nothing serious, though Eric began to walk away and towards the bar. "Maybe if you acted like a man instead of a child Dark, you could get a girl instead of being teased." He gave a shrug of his shoulders and left the three to deal with their own wishes and was standing next to Romeo now.

"Arba might be a good choice and Abel has a good point of her making people fall in line." He was agreeing with everyone else, and it seemed unanimous that Arba should be the leader of this expedition. "Master, if we are all going as a Guild. Then why aren't you the leader?" If Romeo was coming along, it would only make sense that the Master was the leader.

Ira put her hands against his chest and started to push against him as he pulled her in closer. The words he whispered in her ear left her rather tense. Dark had done this to her many times before but she never learned her lesson. Every single time she thinks she caught him he ends up turning the tables on her. She was about to call him a dummy but his arms moved and her gentle push against his chest ended up leaving her falling backwards until her hands caught one of his arms.

She was upset with him now, she was supposed to be the one teasing, and he was supposed to be the one getting flustered, not the other way around. He was certainty ruining all the fun. She looks up at him, pouting a little as she goes to chastise him but once again he had the upper hand, before her eyes were her very own panties... "D-dark you perv!" She says as one hand moved down to push her rather short skirt down and the other ends up making contact with his cheek in a sloppy sort of a smack. She was so embarrassed...

Hearing Eric's words she realizes that others probubly saw as well. That just left her shrinking in her place on Darks lap. "Dark you... jerk." She whimpers trying to make him feel bad even if it was probubly close to impossible. Dark was probubly rather amused with himself at this point. It was times like these where she remembers why Dark was on her list of people she shouldn't tease... The problem was she wanted to get one over Dark, she couldn't accept that he kept winning, she wanted to win... What fun is there in playing a game if she never won? She just couldn't accept giving up!

Ira never got to continue though because the master decided to jump down and break a table in one of his attempts at a flashy entrance. Though she still didn't think his entrances were all that great he still managed to startled her which caused her to fall back only to reach out and grab onto Dark again. Her position looked rather ridiculous, one hand was holding down her skirt and the other one was grabbing onto Dark's shoulder. She was glad that everyone seemed to have already looked over towards Romeo.

Sighing a little she sat up and stretched to look over Dark's shoulder as Romeo started to talk. She could have easily swiped her clothing back while Romeo was talking but, in all honesty, it hadn't occurred to her. While Romeo was talking everyone listened. It wasn't a time where you could just continue goofing off... because Romeo's punishments were supposedly just as bad as Markov's and from the stories she was told... well it was better not to get in trouble with the master...

She didn't speak at first, just listening to everyone conversing with each other and during that time she found her next target. Nero. She hadn't teased him in a while but the way he fumbled with his words and contradicted himself and rambled just... made her feel like Nero might be a good target.

"I second what Abel said!" She calls out waving one of her hands back and forth as she leans against Dark for stability. "Lets have him ask them!" Abel was strong on his own and it wasn't like he was around much. There were times where even she forgot he was in the guild. Nero was right, if they really meant to fight Fairy Tail they would admit it. "But I think Dark should go with him and just lay low in case Abel gets into a fight." She casts a sly smile over at Dark. If Abel really did get in trouble Dark's presence wouldn't change anything but this was her way of getting 'revenge' on him. Putting him in a bad position would make up for him swiping her bra and panties.

Joe sunk even further down in his seat, trying to shut out the rather embarrassing scene in front of him, partly out of politeness, partly out of self interest. It wasn't that uncommon a thing so he probably should have been used to it... but no. He wasn't sure if he'd ever get used to it. Eric got up and went off to do his own thing, leaving him alone near the awkwardness. Yeah, everyone else seemed to be more focused on the issue at hand but that didn't make him any less aware of what was going on just a few feet from him. It was about then that Ira half volunteered Dark to go with Abel and it took all of about 2 seconds for him to recognize it as a terrible idea. If Abel got into trouble, having Dark there wouldn't change a thing. Demon Tail had supposedly taken out a bunch of S rankers earlier, older and more experienced ones. Whether it was one or two wouldn't make much of a difference to the result. That and Dark was both well known in Fairy Tail and less than subtle. He didn't know how well Abel did low key but Dark not so much.

"H-hey, don't say that. Demon Tail is supposed to be r-really strong. Sending two people to meet them alone is asking to get picked off," he stammered, hoping no one would agree to sending his brother out on that crazy mission. It seemed like just asking for trouble to send Dark there as backup. If something happened, he probably couldn't do anything about it but wouldn't be able to resist doing anything either. This wasn't like the movies where one or two guys would go in and beat up everyone on their own. He didn't really know Abel that well but at least Abel had volunteered himself and hopefully had a plan. He didn't really mean that Abel was disposable or anything but he wouldn't have volunteered if he didn't have good reason to believe he could do it, right? Either they sent the people who did it best or they brought everyone.

Max looked up at Rook and smiled "I wasn't one for speech's.. Of course not. I was just happy being the person who always fighted and stuff... I think its more fun being an idiot. Being intelligent gets boring after awhile... I mean.. who would want to appear as the smart one all the time." He said before turning to look at her as she spoke. For being another Dragon Slayer he looked at her almost in a family sort of way. He himself didnt have any family but considered everyone in this room no matter how much they may annoy him a member of his family.

He tugged on Rook's skirt just gentle enough to get her attention "Did that really surpise you? I take it you thought of me as an idiot.. Well I am not." He said with a sigh. It became evident that his anti-Social behaior pattern was starting to kick in as he thought of his past. He wanted someone to hug all the sudden and shook his head. He looked over at Citrine "Citrine.. Would you be able to give me a hug.. I starting to feel.. you know how I always get when I reflect." He said to her. But before he let himself get lost he looked at Rook again "I agree with Arba being our leader.. as much as it pains me to admit it." He said loudly for all to hear.

Warato watched as Eric thought it over and gave out a silent prayer to all of the goddesses he could think of, whether he believed in them or not, asking that everything would turn out alright and that they won't leave him on a mission alone with Yura. It seemed at least one of them was watching out for him, because soon he would find a relief much greater than what he had previously been hoping for.

Just as he was sure Eric would either speak up or he would explode from anticipation the master jumped down from seemingly no where and used a table to cushion his landing. Though the entrance was rather cool he didn't have time to think about that, he needed his answer. Just as he was about to ignore the master all together, mainly because in his slightly panicked state he wasn't thinking clearly, he heard words that couldn't have sounded more beautiful to his ears. "Paahh." He gasped as he fell backwards, he formally tense body now relaxed, "Saved."

It was no time for celebration however, the mater at hand was fairly serious. He stayed quiet, listening as everyone took turns shouting out what they knew and what they thought needed to be done. He could see Armen's thinking cube out but he didn't seem to want to share... "I vote Arba as well!" He shouted out before noticing Rook and Max were talking about something... or was it Max and Citrine? Or was Max talking to... the conversation was too hard to follow. He seemed to be in multiple conversations at once. But a hug? He didn't want to see the lovely Citrine giving Max a hug when he was sitting around without a girl on his arm. That settled it.

Running across the room he jumped up and tackled max to the ground with a dumb grin on his face, "Don't worry Max, I got you. Feel better now?" He laughed a little before quickly jumping back just in case he managed to earn Max's wrath. They may both be Dragon Slayers but Max was far stronger. "I hope you feel better now."

Giggling lightly Citrine gives Arba and Abel one last squeeze before standing up, with a few pushes from Arba. "I'm glad your both back and uninjured. You came just in time." She says honestly, looking from Arba to Abel, noticing him put his hood back up she frowns slightly. 'I wish he wouldnt do that...' Turning her attention to the Master, completely unfazed by his "entrance, she listened along with the others. Shaking her head slightly when he left the planning to them.

As everyone started working out a plan, Kitty headed back over to the bar, giving Estelle a grateful smile, seeing her tending the bar. "Thanks for covering for me, I guess I kinda acted without thinking, heh." Her voice is innocent and apologetic as she leans against the counter. Her jade eyes glance to Nero as he voices his opinion. A soft smile comes to her lips, gently placing her hand on Nero's arm "I understand how you feel. Trust me. But I agree with sending Abel in to see if its truly Demon Tail or someone using their name. Though I hate leaving him on his own, we wont be far away. Right?" Her tone is soft and sympathetic.

When the vote starts for who will lead them all in this mission, Citrine taps her chin in thought. 'Arba is one of the most experienced, not too mention powerful, here. Abel is powerful and experienced too...But hes more of a loner than a leader. Nero....He might be a little too hot headed. Rook can be inspiring, but she hates the spotlight. Max....Well nobody knew what Max was truly thinking....' She proceeded to go through each guild member mentally, it only took about a minute for her to come to a decision though.

"I vote for Arba as our first in command, but maybe we should have a second in command so there isnt so much pressure on our Devil Slayer? If everyone agrees than I vote for Armen for second in command." Now turned to face the guild hall with a serious expression, her voice rang clear and strong through, almost a complete opposite from her usual sweet and innocent demeanor.

Hearing her name said over by the Dragon Slayers she looks over to them "Hm?" Blinking in surprise to Max's sudden request for a hug, she didnt have time to respond before Wataro nearly tackled him in a hug. Laughing at Wataro's words and the sight the 2 Dragon Slayers made she shakes her head causing her auburn hair to sway slightly. "Boys..."

Armen was half in thought and half listening to everyone talking. His cube stopping and starting at seemingly random intervals as he picked up on key parts of the conversation and started to think again. Many things went through his mind, he was gathering and organizing the information provided to him by the members of the guild while also half forming his own plan while evaluating others. For example he wholly agreed that sending Abel in to gather information on the Demon Tail was a good idea. He also half agreed with Ira, believe it or not, that Abel would need some backup. However that probubly wouldn't end up being Dark. It would have to be those that are skilled at evading and deceiving the enemy. If Abel is found out starting a war right away was a bad idea. They needed to prance around that for now while they gathered intel. Fighting an unknown opponent, especially one that was already playing the physiological warfare game, is dangerous at the very least and right now, though he didn't want to admit it, Demon Tail had the upper hand.

One thing was for sure, running head first into Demon Tail was a horrible idea. Fairy Tail may be bigger and may be stronger, but they didn't know that for sure. Plus Demon Tail, if they really were the culprit, probubly was ready for the full force of Fairy Tail... which lead him back to wondering whether Demon Tail was underestimating Fairy Tail or not... Tail, Tail... Perhaps the lost members started Demon Tail. The rumors might be true about Demon Tail having their lost members because they were the lost members. Once again it was purely speculation. The problem was he didn't have much of anything to go by.

They finished the vote for first in command, apparently. It didn't concern him too much though, Arba was the best out of the S ranks though he had a feeling Arba might just want to rush in head first. However when Citrine decided to vote on second in command and his name was mentioned he almost fell over. That was the last thing he expected. Sure he had proven that he preferred to use his brain over everything else but that didn't mean he was fit for such a position. "I'm only B rank!" He said in a bit of a panic. He hoped that was enough to persuade everyone to forget about him. Having a second in command was honestly a good idea, he just didn't find himself to be a leader of any sorts...

Rook watched as several members agreed with her to make Arba leader, glad she wasnt wrong in her opinion. Looking back to Max she rolls her dark blue-nearly black eyes at him. "Thats not what I meant and you know it Metal Head. You just usually keep to yourself is all. I never thought of you as anything less than smart. That is until you piss me off." She retorts simply, her tone and expression blank. Until Wataro suddenly tackled Max from behind in response to his request for a hug. Unable to stop herself she busts out laughing "I think Wataro likes you Max~" She teases playfully.

As Citrine suddenly spoke up about a 2nd in command, and Armen had a little outburst, Rook suddenly fades into a shadow. Traveling in shadow form to Armen before returning to human form, sitting beside Armen. "Yes but your one of the smartest wizards here. You could be like the brains of the operation." She tries persuading the shy boy, giving him a small smile

Chuckling he winks at Eric as his twin walks off, Dark was use to his brothers disapproval of his....Methods. That was until Ira gave him a halfhearted slap across the cheek that he barely felt. Looking to her he just smiles before handing the girls underwear back to her. "You started this little miss flirt. Dont worry, nobody can see anyth-" Dark's reassurance was cut off though when Ira suddenly signed him up to go with Abel in a "lay low" position....Ya that was like asking him to send Joshua into the Demons nest, not gonna happen.

Before he could respond, Joe spoke up defending him, in his shy way. Giving his younger brother a thankful and worry free smile he turns his attention to the imp on his lap. "If you really think I'm the lay low/stealthy type Ira-chan, you must be mistaking me for Rook. And I dont know about you, but I'm pretty sure I'm all male." He teases her in a sarcastic tone, flexing his muscles at the end for emphasise. Suddenly his playful nature fades, going serious and calm as he turns his attention to the guild members around him, his family.

"I guess the vote for Arba as our leader is unanimous. As for a second in command....Arden is a good choice since he can be a sort of adviser and strategist. Though in that case Eric or Anya are good choices too. Especially with Anya's telepathic skills." Honestly he wasnt sure who would be best, but those were his 3 top choices

Max didn't have a single moment to react as the boy flung himself at him. When he hit the floor max blinked twice unsure if what just had happened really had happened. "No... I do not feel better.. I feel like slaughtering you! AND EATING YOUR BONES!" He roared before getting himself under control as the boy jumped back and off of him. He snarled and brushed himself off as he felt the feral tendencies he pushed down start to rise to the fore once again.

That was when Rook began to speak to him. He coughed and barred his teeth. "Well, My far from perfect shadow princess.... I hope you wouldn't look at me like an idiot. I call you fat in my head when we fight so if you call me stupid then you may do that if you wish." He said and stood up sraight and looked presentable once again. He then continued to listen to Rook and snarled "No, He better nor or I will eat the IRON in his BLOOD." He said then the thought passed his mind. "Oh, I can actually do that.. Humans have so much Iron in their blood..." He said as he began to go deep in thought.

He pushed the thought to the side for a moment when Arden spoke up. He looked over at him and smirked "You have brains. We need brains right now as most people in here do not have enough to feed a cannibal for a day." He said bluntly. He then raised a hand to his chin and began to think on his cannibalistic thoughts. "So.. I can be a vampire by all honesty.." He mumbled

What Nero, the Guild Master and the rest said, pretty much told her everything that deemed important at the time. She took a few steps forward and approached Romeo. Standing not so far away from the now broken table. Despite the raw power and how Arba easily can destroy her surroundings because of her magic, she was unanimously chosen as the leader. Though whenever she approached an enemy, or a looming threat against the guild, she would assess the situation before acting. She was quite intelligent, despite the aura surrounding her.

Hearing the ideas and the suggestions from the many members of Fairy Tail eased her mind. They were all ready to do something. Alot had changed, even if she was away for a month. A threat similar to this hadn't crossed the guilds path for many years. "I'd rather not do anything rash, but Master. If we know so little of Demon Tail.. There is a tavern at the outskirts of Fiore." She started, as she held the backpack in her hand. Making her way towards the bar, she threw it over the counter, before turning around.

Standing close to Estelle, Citrine, Sieg and Nero, she crossed her arms before her chest. "This tavern is usually occupied by members of other dark guilds. If we don't have a direction to move towards. Let me pay a visit to this tavern." Arba suggested.

"We may get some information about Demon Tail." Her expression was serious. "Or, rather, I will get the information we need." She stated.

Before anything else, she decided to address the situation about her newly appointed position. "As the leader, I will take on the responsibility to find the neccessary solution, or the right approach." Arba walked away from the counter and towards the exit.

"Armen.. Despite being a B-Class Mage, I know you can hold the fort while I'm away... Right?" A smirk came across her face. She knew he could handle it. Arba wanted to encourage him. Moments later, she walked past Rook, Max, Abel and Armen. As she made her way to the doors leading outside the guild hall, her hand grasped the doorknob. She stopped in her tracks. Tilting her head backwards, she gazed upon the Master and the rest.

"Master.. If anything.. I'd rather have the rest meet me just outside Demon Tail.. So what will it be?" She took a small pause, before a sigh escaped her lips. The stiff aura, the tension around her was released. Arba was hoping her Master would allow this. Arba wanted to find a way. A way to get their magic back!

Still leaned against the counter, with more company than before. Next to him was not only Sieg, but also the rowdy bunch. The slayers, Rook and Max. Citrine was also back behind the counter, along with Estelle. Turning around, he noticed how Warato tackled and weirdly hugged Max. A small laugh escaped his lips, as it drew his attention away from the ceiling. Turning around he sat down on the chair, looking over at Max and Rook. 'Well, if he escaped the punishment from Arba, then there's Warato to deal with. His affection for Max, is quite something.' Nero internally made a silly joke.

His attention turned over at Citrine. "It's quite rude to just leave me hanging her all by myself.." He referred to their little conversation earlier. Or rather, his bantering where Citrine was calmly just listening. Though he rhetorically asked. He knew full well why she disappeared from the bar.

"Anyways, not like what I said made much sense.." He spoke about the little so-called speech he made after Max'. Moments later, he turned around, noticing Arba and her words. Atleast she knew about a place where they could start from, but he was not certain if it was a dead giveaway, or rather, the correct place to obtain the neccessary information.

After her serious response, and judging by how her expression was, someone may have to tag along. As Arba approached the exit. Nero spoke up, though with a low tone, so the people around the counter could hear him. Because if Arba did, he may be in for something he'd rather not experience. "Maybe someone here should tag along... It's a tavern filled with dark guild members.." He nodded towards Rook and Max.

"Both Rook and Max seems like the ideal people to go with her.. Wouldn't you say, Citrine?" He signaled Rook towards Arba, before a smile plastered on his face. He was hoping she would understand what Nero meant. He wanted Rook and Max, or atleast one of them to join Arba.

Ira crossed her arms and looked over at Joe with a rather displeased look. Did he really think that was OK? Couldn't he tell she was trying to get back at him? Joe should have just stayed out of it... Finally she reached out and took her clothing back before suddenly leaning forward, resting her head against Darks chest. "Dark, your so cruel." She sighs, for once not in the mood to tease anyone. She was done teasing for the moment... That is until she heard Dark mutter something unbelievably perfect. She quickly leans back with a mischievous grin on her face, "All man, huh Dark? I'm not so sure about that." She started running a finger along his arm, "Care to prove it?" Of course she wasn't serious, she just wanted to see him finally wear a flustered look like he was supposed to.

During this time she probubly should have been paying attention to who was being elected but honestly she didn't really care. So long as she wasn't given a position of authority she would be fine... Of course she probubly should have payed more attention but now that Romeo seemed to be done talking she was giving Dark her full attention, even if he wasn't doing the same in return. "So Dark, how are you going to prove it to me?" She continued wrapping her arms around him and pushing herself closer. 'Oh, I have him now, any second and I will see what I have been working so hard for!'

Guild Master, purple
Romeo sat on the bar counter with his arms folded across his chest as he listened and watch his guild work out a plan in silence. Finally when a few members asked him questions he decided to speak "I will not be leading you all for one specific reason. If this is truly Demon Tail then you all will be fighting their members. As your Master, I will take on Demon Tail's Master, Eric." He says simply, though his answer was a little too simple.

"As for leaders, I concur Arba will lead this mission, and Armen will be her 2nd in command and strategist. Anya will serve as a telepathic link to keep tabs on everyone and relay any important information, do you think you can handle that Anya?" Romeo turns his gaze to the girl. Before she could answer though, Arba spoke up.

"Hmm...Your right, it would do us good to have as much information on our enemy as we can. Take Rook and...." His gaze runs over the members before stopping on the girl by the door. "Yura with you. Sorry Max but I would prefer the Tavern to still be standing by the end of this....Information gathering." His gaze now went to Abel.

"Are you sure Demon Tail doesnt know your in Fairy Tail now? I wont send one of my own in to be pummeled by the off chance they dont know of you. But if your sure, then I agree, you will confront Demon Tail about this....Calling card. I'll send Wataro and Anya with you to lay low outside in case anything goes wrong. If they deny it then leave immediately. If they attack then signal Anya and she'll let us know the battle has begun. We'll wait in a Pub a mile away so we can be there as soon as possible." And that was how Fairy Tail fought, always together, never alone

"Thanks for covering for me, I guess I kinda acted without thinking, heh." Citrine thanked Estelle. "No problem. Just happy, I could help." Estelle responded. It's kind of weird how people with powers that are polar opposites of each other could get along, but they were never actually ones to start a fight like Max and Rook.

When the guild master, Romeo, came from stairs, Estelle threw the cloth that she was using to wipe down the bar to the side, and placed her elbow on the counter so she could rest her chin on her hand. She listened in on the conversation, not contributing anything. Everybody took the words out of her mouth so there was no reason to. Arba was leader and Armen was second in command. That wasen't too much of a surprise, or a problem.

Estelle directed her attention to Romeo. "Sounds like a plan to me." Estelle spoke after Romeo finished.
