Banned List:
Book of Exalted Deeds
Book of Vile Darkness
Anything Psionic (specifically for this roleplay - D&D psionics are messy in post based RP)
Lords of Madness

With Consideration:
Savage Species
Book of Nine Swords
Libris Mortis
Fiendish Codexes

If you want to pull something from the Consideration list later on, PM me and we can discuss where to go. Otherwise you're mostly free to chose what you will though I would like to see references to which book you pulled it from. I have most but if I don't have one I need to get my hands on it.

Alright. Also, looking back on the Stalwart and the Battle Sorcerer from Complete Mage and Unearthed Arcana respectively, Vanra should have one less spell but the essentially the same hit die as a fighter (d8+ (her sorcerer level x 2)), light armor proficiency (and the lack of arcane spell failure), and proficency with the Greataxe and one other light, or one-handed weapon (most likely the bastard sword). She also has the Fey Heritage feat from Complete Mage. Vanra is a level one orc with 16 in her Charisma score( I always get lucky rolls somehow).

Alright, sounds good to me. I'll add you to the roster.

Just remember @Buio, I've already got an armed combat professor. Just waiting until I can use him...Methinks class will take place on day 2.

lol, oh yeah, it;s fine, i jyst have way too many character ideas than i knwo what to do with atm, so i figured i'd throw a few this way

Well if we get enough staff, I might make a few super secret staff missions.

Name: Enelya Yávëtil

Age: 16

Race: Elf

Class: Spellbind-weaponer. Any weapon she's wields or crafts; sword, daggers, bow/arrow she can infuse with magick and spells that can be either temporary or permanent.

Title: student

Sect Study: Dominus - Red

Appearance:
dyujkm_zpsd7e2786b.jpg

Enelya stood at barely 5' tall, with a slim but tone built, she would be called petite. She had long golden chocolate hair that fell in waves around her shoulder though she normally have wore it pulled up away from her face. Her eyes were a soft grey like the sky before snow.

Her skin was sun kissed, caramel, smooth. Her hands were slender and small fragile looking but with more strength then anyone would think. She could easily break a grip if needed. Her legs were long and muscular like a dancer and she moved with the grace of one.

Personality: Enelya's height has always made people underestimate her, so she can be on the defensive when she meets knew people. However in battle she is all but happy to use it to her advantage. She is saucy and tart and can seem a little rough around the edges but she is loyal and once you get through her touch exterior she is kind and sweet inside.

She tends to be more serious and silent but from time to time when she is around people she trusts and love Enelya relaxes and becomes a little more talkative and energetic. Enelya was also a night owl not a morning bird. It is best to leave her alone until she had had her cup of coffee…maybe its best to wait for the second cup.

Weapon(s): sword, twin daggers, bow/arrows

Abilities/Magic: ability to infused spells into weapons. Currently able to infusion spells of strengthen to make blades all but unbreakable and non-dulling blade edges, as well as spells of accuracy for arrows and bows. She can infusion elemental powers into any weapons but these are only temporary lasting only three uses of the spell but easy to cast, the wielder just needs to know what the spells will do and have that intent they could unleash it allowing non magical people to use her weapons. Currently her fire based spells are her stronger and easiest to infused. Her wind spells were her second best after that she struggled with water and earth spells and was currently learning those two elements as well as a summoning spell where a weapon could be summoned to the owner from any location in a blink of an eye, she was also working on making her elemental spells last longer and/or be permanent.

History: Enelya grew up on the western planet Corinith with her Elven people the Lossëhelin learning a variety of languages and skills from martial arts, swordsmanship and magick. She had a knack for metal and started learning how to create weapons from a young age. One day though her home was attacked by a rival tribe, Ancalímon, slaughtering everyone who couldn't be enslave and of use for them. Enelya fled at the urging of her parents, told not to stay and fight but to flee to the moon and the academy there were she could continue to learn and hone her skills and make a new life for herself.

She wanted revenge and to save what was left of her people but her parents had told her to make a new life, to start over and forget her past. That the past could not be changed but the future could be molded. Sacrificing herself to save her people would make her parent's sacrifice to save her in vain. Enelya hated her parents for pinning her in such a corner, as much had she loved them. Now she lived at the academy and had lived there for about a year though she stuck to the shadows and away from people.

The Lossëhelin were a secretive people alive for centuries and millennia, no one on Corinith had ever came in contact with them since the Great Elven War nearly 5,000 years ago and slowly they came myths and legends with people every once in a while claiming having seen the mysterious elves in the Ireth Woods in the south, where humans and other people will not venture for it was a cursed wood and anyone who went in never came back out. They were a warrior race unlike the Míriel, whom were a race devoted to healing and plants life and lived on the second planet Eritai., the Lossëhelin specialist in crafting weapons and have a vast knowledge and library of magick, spells and a good amount of healing arts. They had been known as a superior race and the Ancalímon envied them greatly.

The Ancalímon were another tribe of elves well known to the entire planet, they plumaged and took whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. They enjoyed the sight of blood and going to war with the other nations for the pure fun of it. They lived in the Black Forest to the very middle of the western hemisphere and no one lived within a hundred miles of it. They were brutal warriors but they had no healing skills nor armory skills. They wanted Lossëhelin knowledge and power, for the Ancalímon knew they exist as they had been bitter rivals since the beginning.

After the Great Elven War between them, the Ancalímon turned and fled, they hide for 150 years before they began to emerged on the planet again, healed from their battle wounds. The Great Elven War had caused bloodshed all over the planet, a war that raged for 300 years, and the rest of the planet and its people had been affected by the war, they raged at the Lossëhelin laying blame for the destruction on them just as much as the Ancalímon. The Lossëhelin had withdrawn from the world and though they continue to hone their skills, it had been centuries since they had put them to use.

They that fateful day arrive, when the Ancalímon attacked the unsuspecting Lossëhelin, destroying their peaceful home, enslaving the most useful of people, claiming Ireth Woods as their own. The Lossëhelin downfall lay on the shoulders of one of its people turned traitor, the King's Advisor, who had promised the Ancalímon's King the things he wanted; knowledge, weapons and power. However the King's Advisor couldn't deliver on the one thing the Ancalímon king wanted most of all, to seal his claim as King of the Lossëhelin land and the remaining people, the King's daughter and heir, Enelya Yávëtil.

Failariël, King of Ancalímon, self proclaimed King of Lossëhelin, will do everything in his power to find her, wed her, break her will and cement his claim of Lossëhelin.

lots of dominus characters eh? this would make the 7th one so far.

to compare we have 4 ultris, 2 arma (3 counting the teacher), and Grimm as our only Magis student.

I've actually debated whether or not to mage a Magis... I'm probably going to. Just need to figure out a backstory

also @Awendela reading through your history, I'm going to point out that you may want to scale back such claims as the acali race being known thoughout 'the whole planet' Corinth and eritai were designed pretty much as 'blank slates' where everyone could attribute whatever attributes they wanted to whichever part of which planet their character came from so that this way they wouldn;t have to struggle with their origins, but if you start saying something like how a single race has been known throughout the entirety of any one planet, then that bring into question why the hell another character from the same planet (like my won for example) have never even heard of them or have never come into contact with them. It's better if you try to limit yourself to specific continents (I myself put in that the lower half of corinth is mostly water, and that the southern continent is an aglamation of islands in a great ocean, each island pretty much being considered a town or city, and groups of islands with teh same government/ideologies making countries. My character marco's country joined the islands together by train tracks and had an overal steampunk ish theme) or better yet specific countries so that you are not imposing yoursefl onto other people's lore.

actually, this brings something to mind. Attention everyone in the RP. Could everyone who has characters whose backstories involve description of Corinth, Eritai, or the still nameless moon on which eureka is located link me their CS? I want to read through them and compile the information we have so far on each planet and on the moon so we can figure out what these astral bodies are actually starting to look like now.

also, gavin, i am assuming that we should also consider the information found in the CSes of non-active players as cannon as well? (like how chaike's character mentioned that there was prejudice against shapeshifters on the part of eritai he was from?)

@Awendela You're good though I do see @Buio 's concern; thankfully someone's mind can hold all the stuffs here cause I can't. I went ahead and accepted it but I agree with Buio that such claims should be scaled back a tetch.

@Buio Specifically to you, there's a post at the very beginning that has links to all CSes both active and not and I update it every time I have a new acceptance. I can't say off hand which ones do, though I know that Hibiki's has an entire section on it and Masami's links to it as well. And yes, go ahead and consider the CSes of inactives as canon - I did say they could come back when they wanted to though I may amend a dead line to that to clear space if they haven't posted.

alright, well i'll go through the inactives now to see which ones mention the planets. as for the actives, i will wait for people to tell me if their charaters do or do not add to the tri-systems' lore/geography/etc.

by the way, what IS the name of the moon we're all on right now?

It's in the first post. It's the Eureka Moon.

oh, ok then. i figured it was something like that anyways

Ok guys, so this is still VERY MUCH a work in progress. but here is what i have so far for the information on the planets (Turns out nearly all of our concrete information so far is about Corinith lol). Feel free to tell me what you think and to give me some suggestions on formatting or whatever.

Corinith

Species:
-Humans, Shifters (source: Zacharia Sun), Demons

Geography:
-Flooded southern half: The southern hemisphere of the planet is nearly entirely flooded. (source: Bobby)

-Greater Northern continent: The Northernmost continent is the largest. (source: Orin)

Culture:
- Southern Islands Continent: A mass of hundreds of small islands located in the southern hemisphere of Corinith. It is and aggregation of several small islands each holding one town or city (and rarely, two) taht are grouped into 'countries' when several islands join under one governing body/ideology. The islands and their respective towns/cities often share a name (unlessthere is more than one town/city on the island).

Mnoral
One of the southern islands countries, not much is yet know about Mnoral other than the fact that it is populated almost exclusively by mages. It is the 'birthplace' of the shifter race, and where racism against their kind is highest.
Nameless Country (Menshclok)
The island of Menschclok is situated here, part of a yet unnamed country. The country has a steampunk theme with a level of technology about teh same as late 19th century early 20th century earth. This country has built railroad bridges between its island city states. Skilled craftsmen (especially metal workers of all types) are highly valued and sought after here. It seems that very few shifters live in or ever visit this country, and thus racism towards their kind is notably less pronounced as most of its residents have never even heard of one. This could suggest that relations between this country and Mnoral are not the best, further enforced by their different cultures and how one favors technology while the other favors magic.

- Hibernis: Northernmost Continent of Corinith, as well as the country with the largest geographical mass. Home to the demons of corinith, its culture is largely feudal as its individual countries (kingdoms) are mostly led by demonic monarchies. The kingdom of Gelida at its center is teh kingdom of the Incubi and the most powerful nation on the continent

Gelida
Most powerful nation in the continent of hibernis, it is ruled by the Incubus king and queen (females of this particular breed of demons are called succubus plur. succubi). This nation once put much importance on the powerful offensive magic innate to their people called Destruction Magic. This is evidenced by the gigantic collection of tomes, grimoires and scrolls devoted to the study of Destruction magic that is found within the Royal Library. Said Library is annexed to the royal castle which can be found in Nyx, royal capital of the kingdom, as well as geographical center of the entire continent. There are woods that surround Nyx, implying the capital does little trade with the other cities of the kingdom.

- Shifters: An artificial race of half-elementals created by the humans of Corinith, originally created by the human mages on Mnoral. The first shifters were the result of a catastrophically failed transmutation spell that left them with the ability to change the composition of their bodies so that they took elemental traits. 'Shifting' between elements like this is how the species got its name. Shifters are heavily discriminated against on Corinith because of their artificial nature and forced to live in slums (they can be found in the slums of almost every major settlement across the planet). In the worst parts of the world, they are victims of violent and often lethal anti-shifter riots. Even in the places where they are 'accepted' they are largely forced to work the worst (and usually most physically intensive) jobs.

- Incubi: Residents of the kingdom of Gelida. The Incubi are a race of demons almost indistinguishable from humans save for their unnatural crimson eyes. Legends amongst Corinthian humans make them out to be creatures of pure lust and sexuality, but these are simple exaggerations on their somewhat sensual culture. They were likely once a powerful and warlike people who used great destruction magic to cement their position as the most powerful of demonic races on Hibernis. However, millennia of peace have made them complacent and solitary and the artforms of desctruction magic and scytheplay (the scythe being their ancestrial weapon as it is the one most conductive to destruction magic) are forgotten by most of the populace. Few, if any, masters of destruction magic still exist, and the few scythemasters that remain have taken to living hermetic lives, one such inhabiting the woods of the capital. Incubi live in a monarchy and are ruled by a single king, though they also have a queen they must answer to. Their culture seems to have mostly forgotten their warlike past in favor of the more sensual image under which it is represented today

I also meant to say @Incubus Prince I know you're up for Hibik's group and I think you are also for Orin's

I think I'm also up, but not sure how I can push out a good post with the little content there is for Rever to respond to. Mayhaps I'll wait for Prince and see if I can push out a better post.

Well it's between the two of you.

*cries silently in the corner as no one comments on the effort he making to improve the OOC*

They're probably waiting for the completion.
