Dragonismia- The Return

Dark Shade blinked. She hadn't been expecting this. Then again, what had she been expecting?
Flick smiled, standing from his bowing position. "We would be most humbled, Your Majesty."
Twin Tail gave a wry smile. "But of course."
 
The dragon smiled, and moved aside for Twin Tail and Nova to pass.

She now focused her attention on Ashes and Pisces. "Now, I do welcome you two with outstretched talons! You will be working for our water and fire devision, you will start at-"

Ashes gazed at her, then his brother - why was he acting like that? Pisces looked like he had came across his favourite fish. It didn't seem right. "We never said we will work with you. We were taken from our resting area. I am sorry, but we decline."
 
Twin Tail smiled, walking through.

Dark Shade flinched slightly, but didn't let it show to the Queen, instead raising an eyebrow at Ashes.
Flick glared at the red dragon.
 
Drake stuck close to the shadows, his sights set on Nova and Twin Tails. His curiosity getting the better of him.
 
Dawnlin's smile faltered. "You may feel that way, but your brother seems to be quite the opposite." She walked over to Pisces. "Would you like to work for the brilliant kingdom?"

Pisces nodded, not taking his eyes off of the queen, "Yes."

"Would you take up even the most dangerous of tasks? Ones that could bring the end to your life?"

"Only for you, my queen."

"Good. Now, Pisces, go and get the jar of black liquid from beside my throne. You see, it has the effect of a slow - and I mean slow, 1 year - and agonising death. I only have the cure. If ashes doesn't work for me, I may just misplace my cure."

"Yes, my queen."

"Dark shade, Flicker shadow, you are dismissed."
 
Dark Shade flung a worried look at Ashes as she left, hoping he would get the message.
Flick nodded, guiding her out of the hall.
 
To an extent XD
Twin Tail chuckled. "Well, that was annoying. Now we need to go find Flick."
 
"Okay," Nova replied, by twin tails side, "but where could he be? This place looks rather big."

They're all shoeless, of course.
 
"He's generally training Dark Shade in the training hall," Drake spoke up from the darkness. "She wouldn't be your sister by any chance, would she? He asked stepping forth into the dim light of the tunnel.
 
Twin Tail laughed. "Yeah, Dark Shade's my sister." she said, prying Nova off of her. "How do you know them?"
 
Drake paused, thinking this over. "we're sort of... Friends," he admited with a slight smile. "I'm Drake, by the way. You know, you look like her a lot-" he cut off realising he didn't know either of their names.
 
"I'm Nuriuns, she's Trithera." Going by fake names so her blow isn't covered.
 
Twin Tail nodded slowly.
Dark Shade slammed the dragon into the side of the building, wings flapping furiously as she pinned him with her hind legs, claws wrapped around his throat as she gave him a death stare. "Stop attacking me with your stupid gang!"
Flick was pacing around nervously outside. Dark Shade had gone off somewhere, telling him she'd be back soon. So he'd waited near the palace, hoping to see Ashes and Pisces to escort them back to their shared dorms.

Drake nodded. He accepted their names but something told him that wasn't true but he chose to ignore this. "I'm assmuming you're both not from around here." He could see the light shades of Nuriuns's skin underneath her armour. "It's Ok, you can trust me. I'm a friend and I would do anything to get away from this place."
 
Sorry, I think my brain was swapped with a zombie one 5 minutes ago.

Ashes spotted Flick, and limped over to him. "Pisces is staying behind to do favours for Dawnlin." The traitor. He thought. "What even happened back there?"

Nova sighed with relief. If he knows Twinny's sister and is friendly enough, he seems to be trustable.
 
Ahahahaha, sounds like something I do when I'm distracted or tired, don't worry xD

Flick sighed gratefully. "Thank goodness you're OK. Our queen has...powers, you see, that are granted to her by who knows what means. She can charm certain dragons. I don't know if she's able to control it or not but it seems like they kicked in for Pisces. How'd you get out?"
Twin Tail nodded. "I'm from Air Clan, as you can probably tell."
 
Ashes nodded sadly. "I was dismissed after my prosthetic leg was taken away and burned and after I was forced to take that death concoction. Where's Dark Shade?"

Nova lifted up her goggles, "Air and mountain." She said shortlyshortly
 
Got to go for dinner but I'll be back on in a couple of minutes.

"Interesting," Drake said intrigued. "Flick and Twin have both just returned from a mission. Stay close to me if and if anyone sees you, you'be been recruited to join the cause, ok?"
