"She remembers the stories her mother use to tell her. A forest made of white trees and golden leaves. A forest for all dogs to live happily. Stories for pups to fall asleep to, to have sweet dreams and chase away the bad ones. That's all they were. Stories.... Or so she thought."
A dog who's only known life and reality to be ruthless and unforgiving, finds herself free of the torment. A fire breaks out in a very shady building in the back alleys of the city. Some of the dogs who were held captive in this building, some stolen from their families, others bought from illegal activity, manage to escape the fiery death trap. The few dogs that survived, one being the she-dog, hide and take refuge somewhere within the city, now free they wonder what will become of them now. The she-dog recalls stories of a place where no humans dare to tread and all animals run free and wild. She and the surviving dogs now look beyond the city, beyond the horizon to that place. Whatever and where it may be…
Dogs are capable of understanding the language of man, but how well is depending on how long the dog has been within the presence of humans and their own strange culture. A dog raised by humans (say from pup to adulthood) will understand the words and meanings of which humans speak. Dogs who have little to no contact with humans will have little understanding of their dialect. Example: Dog who has been kept as a pet by humans for years will understand human language more than a stray. The stray may pick up on certain words, sentences ect… but they would not know nor understand as much as the pet.
Also known as "The Tounge of the Predators" or "The Language of Predators". Predatora is a common language use amoung animals (those who are either avians or mammals) who are predators. Prey animals, deer, rodents, non-birds of prey etc... do not and cannot speak Predatora.

Alpha: leader of the pack.
Beta: second in command.
Delta: the pack body, made up of hunters and fighters.
Omega: the lowest rank, they watch over the pups while the deltas go and hunt/patrol. They are also used as scouts and spies.
Gamma: young canines (juveniles) who have yet to receive their rank, whther be it bestowed upon them by the alpha or proving themselves with tasks or fights.
Pups: youngsters that have yet reached their juvenile stage.
Elder: retired pack members who are deemed too old to hunt or fight. Elders are often respected as they are seen to have be wise and experienced.

Lunari is a religion that dates back to the olden times where dogs were once wolves. This religion holds the belief that the ancestors of all canines originated from the moon goddess, Albalapis.
"Albalapis, also known as simply, "Alba", is the goddess and creator of all canine kind who takes the form of the moon, her true form said to be that of some sort of canid. She has existed and hung in the night sky since the beginning of time, but over the years, she grew lonely. So she created the first canines, the wolves. She loved the wolves dearly as they always sang songs to her. Alba then created foxes, entertained by their pranks, cleverness and charm. Then she created the coyotes, cross between wolf and fox, they sang songs higher in tone and were just as crafty as their fox cousins. But what made them truly unique, was that not only could they survive alone (like foxes), but also survive together as a pack (like wolves). One night, the goddess curiously observed the humans below and took pity on them. What sad creatures they were. They struggled to survive, felt loneliness and fear when the dark of night would cast itself over the land. So, she created a being that held all the qualities of foxes' cleverness, the wolves' singing spirit, and the coyotes' strength in independence and teamwork. But the most important aspect she put forth in this new being, was its unwavering loyalty and pure of heart. Albalapis, the goddess of the moon had finally created the dog and all of dogkind. The humans took in the dogs with open arms, to which all dogs rejoiced, pouring forth their love and devotion to their human masters."
This story is interpreted and has been added onto in various ways. Some dogs believe in the lunari faith, others do not. The believers and worshippers of Lunari all have different interpretations and additions to the story. There are sects and congregations of dogs who are devout worshippers. A common addition to the story of Albalapis and the creation of canine-kind is that when canines die, they turn into stars. There is also another popular idea within the faith that there is a paradise on earth. What this paradise may or may not hold, is also left up to interpretation of the individual.

((Please do keep in mind, that the story's plot/line will have more detail and dept than what I provide in the these current chapters. These are simply a skeleton of what is to occur in terms of events and interactions within the story. Think of it as a guideline to help give what location our characters will be at and what our characters come in contact with next. These locations and interactions might change. Please do feel free to give me ideas on different locations, settings, events and interactions the characters would come across via OOC chat.))
Characters help each other escape a fiery death from the building they are being held captive in. When they manage to escape they run and hide somewhere within the city, after some talking, characters then decided to form a pack and leave the city for some place better.
Characters leave the city, following a dangerous road filled with cars till they come across a town just outside the city. They stay here for awhile, coming in contact with other dogs who are devote (and revealed to be extreme) believers of the Lunari faith. The pack begin to notice something wrong with the dogs of the town as it is revealed that they are essentially a dangerous cult that captures stray dogs and use them as sacrifices. They again must escape.
After escaping the cult dogs, and perhaps gaining a new member or members to their pack, they come across a railyard and train carts. They tack refuge in a train cart that is filled with hay and sleep for the night. They awaken to the sounds of people in the early morning and find that the cart has been attached to a train and is currently on the move. They stay on the cart, deciding to see where it will take them. After awhile, sometime during the day, the see in the distance a much smaller, rural town with acres of farm land. They hop off the train while it's still going and head towards the farmland.
They come across farm animals and farm dogs, and are at first met with hostility by said farm dogs. As it turns out the farmers of the area are having an issue with their live stock being killed, mostly sheep, goats and the domestic fowls (turkeys, chickens, ducks ect..). The pack of dogs are accused of the attacks, as they are outsiders, but it turns out it's actually a pack of wolves doing the killing. The dogs come face to face with the wolves, a brawl ensues. After the fight, another farm animal is killed, this time a calf. The pack of dogs are then seen at the wrong place at the wrong time by the human farmers and are wrongfully accused of being the perpetrators. Again the dogs are forced on the run, and hide within the forest close to the rural town. This will be the pack's time of learning to be true, wild dogs, as they learn to survive in a forest. There are tense moments with the wolf pack, but a much bigger issue arises when a group of enraged farmers, along with their farm and hunting dogs enter the woods in search of to kill the dog pack, whom they still believe are the cause of their livestocks' death.
Some of the farm and hunting dogs try to help the dog pack escape. Once the dog pack does managed to escape, they find themselves at another rail yard. They choose which rail track to follow and continue their journey.
Along the track, they come across an abandoned building in what looks to be in a small, equally abandoned neighborhood. Hungry and tired, the dogs leave the train track to investigate to find and food and a place to sleep within the area. They come face to face with a group of coyotes that aren't too happy with their new neighbors. They barely tolerate the other dogs, on the occasion harassing them till a massive storm hits. Lightening crashes striking the old building, harsh winds break windows and tear away already feeble exterior of the the homes. The pouring rain causes a flood, forcing both packs to find higher ground outside of the neighborhood into the woods. After the storm, the packs return to see the buildings destroyed, crumbling in on themselves. The tall brick building also shows greater signs of damage and it's clear, it too will soon come down in a crumbling heap. The coyotes blame the dog pack, deeming them cursed and tell them to leave. To not get into a pointless fight the dogs do so.
Once again they follow the track till they come across another town that sits near a man-made beach. The dog pack heads towards this new destination and come in contact with a pack of dogs that thrive off of the beach and the nearby town. The dogs are then captured by humans and taken to an unknown area.
The dogs are transported by the humans to a sort of animal shelter near a neighborhood. The dogs stay for awhile before deciding to once again escape from their human captors entering and passing through the neighborhood. They are told by a local dog that there is a sort of tunnel that leads to a forest. The dogs take this chance and head towards this tunnel.
After finding and entering the tunnel, the dogs travel in darkness before hearing "voices" and sense something is chasing them. They finally see the other end of the tunnel as they run. Once they leave the tunnel they continue on the journey, they notice a stretch of road near by.
They follow along and empty, old and seemingly abandoned road as a mist and fog fall over the area growing thicker as they travel. The road comes to a dead end as it stops at a drop off, the fog so thick that they aren't able to see the bottom of the drop off. One of the dogs notice a new path made from brightly colored bricks off to the side traveling into the forest. They follow the bricked path to a strange, abandoned amusement park.
The fog fades some, allowing the dogs to see better, but still obscuring the distance beyond. Curiously they wander through the eerie park, trying to find a way out of the place and the fog. As they do so, the come across a group of foxes that live within the amusement park. One of the foxes offer the dogs help of finding way out, but only if they manage to kill or chase away a cougar that hunts the area.
The dogs agree and seek out the cougar, finding it and managing to either kill it or chase it away. In doing so, the fox leads them out of the foggy park to a cave. The dogs enter the cave and continue to travel through it till they fall sleep. When they awaken, the continue on their way before seeing and exist. Leaving the cave, they see that they are on the other side of a mountain or hill that overlooks a grand forest.

1.) Have as many charas as you like
2.) No Godmodding/powerplaying
3.) Dogs will be the main characters of this rp, however npcs can be any species. Later on in the rp, I am willing to allow other animal characters that are non-npcs (wolves, foxes, cats ect…) However in the first few or so "chapters" only dogs as main characters please and thanks
4.) 4 + lines per post, write paragraphs, write novellas, details and descriptions galore~
5.) Never be afraid to ask questions or give new ideas of where our charas can go/do in terms of the story! Either pm me or ask via OOC chat :D
6.) No magical/supernatural abilities. This also includes psychic/medium type abilities (seeing in the future, or having dreams that for tell the future)
7.) NPCs are to be rped by their creators, unless said creator gives permission for others to use said npc(s)
8.) Only photos of dogs for your charas profile and no dogs with unnatural colors (purple dogs for example)
9.) Wolfdog and coydog hybrids are acceptable, but there will only be a few (for the time being) in this rp. Wolfdogs and coydog charas wont come into play till certain chapters.
10.) Small dogs/pups cannot hunt down prey that is much larger than themselves, this includes getting into fights with larger animals. Example: A corgi, shetland, or chihuahuah cannot take down a deer by themselves. With that being said, small dogs can think of ways to take down animal larger than themselves, just not with their brute strength.
11.) No killing charas (npcs if they belong to a different rper) without the other rper's consent first
12.) There will be fights and when a fight occurs, be sure to discuss how it will go about with your fellow rpers. Who will be the victory/loser, how badly wounded the character(s) will be. I put this here so there won't be any accusing of or "accidental" godmodding/powerplaying. It's best if we discuss it before it plays out, so we know what to expect.
13.) Plan on having characters being mates and having pups? Yay! Just don't describe the actual mating/birthing bits. Fade to black or time skip it please and thanks
14.) Mature themes will be in this rp, I know you probably wouldn't expect that in a roleplay about dogs, but there are. Foul language (shit, damn, fuck ect…) are permitted, and there will be depiction of violence (blood, fights, gashes and perhaps even a removed limb here or there). With that being said, this is not a "gore galore rp". Nothing like the "SAW" or "Final Destination" series. Violence/bloody imagery is here for the sake of story and not just for the sake of being disturbing. If you're unsure if your post would be "too much" or bordering/on the line of "gore porn" please do ask via OOC.
15.) There will be NPCS used as important plot points, such as a villain for example for a particular chapter. They will exist for the purpose of making the story interesting and help pushing it forward, however when the chapter(s) is coming to a close, the npc will either leave, die, or be left behind. NPCs can make a comeback during the story or even be turned into a main character.
16.) Do not start rping with your character(s) until I have accepted them either via OOC chat or pm
17.) Everyone has a life outside of rp, posting once or twice a week is acceptable. If you are going to leave for a longer period of time please let me know via ooc chat or pm. Also tell me how long you will be absent. You can also show me you are still active via posting in chat. If you are gone with no signs of activity in the rp or ooc after a week, I will send you a pm and 3 days to respond. After the 3 days and no response your character will either be turned into an npc, leave, be left behind or killed off via rp
