Name: James Barden
Age: 29 Years Old
Physical Extras: James stands at 6'1" Ft and approximately weighs about 183 Lbs. Underneath the clothing lies a toned athletic body that is littered with scars and an elaborative tattoo. He bears one large scar from a biking accident (Right Calve) and smaller scars originate from insignificant accidents (Hands, Arms). On his spine, he has an intricate design of a dagger.
Sexuality: Bisexual
Three Good Traits:
Courageous: There are very few things that James will be reluctant to execute, but other than that he does not flinch from anything. This coils into the type of man he is; almost fearless from everything that is thrown at him. Each act he puts into action he is confident and has no uncertainty. The times where he finds himself uncertain and hesitant, he eventually turns it away.
Protective: Before and after Cascade Falls, James was always a safeguarding person. He's the type of man who will do his best to protect anything and anyone. Before Cascade Falls, he was a simple overprotective brother who would growl at anyone who would attempt to swoon his younger sister. When someone attains trust and an unbreakable bond with James, you are considered a valuable person to him and is worth saving, regardless.
Loyal: An unbreakable bond between two is what James goes by. Once you enter a strong bond with him you are safe with him. Secrets will be kept, in spite of the consequences he will never break. He's the type to go all the way with loyalty - will always go the extra ten miles.
Three Flaws:
Skeptical: In spite of James's unbreakable loyalty he will always start off as a guarded man. He will never let anyone in easily, there is always the negative side he will see first. He is not an easy person to get close too.
Impatient: He finds himself tapping his shoes against the floor and begins to grumble. James is unable to wait for a single moment - a minute is unbearable for him. It forces him to become a boor man with a temper.
Escapist: As the years passed he formed the habit to run away from unpleasant pasts and pretends they no longer exist. He replaced the dreadful memories with spacers, false fantasies. Something temporary to cover up the negative energy. The worst memories brought James to conjure up a completely different scenario, which brings him to act deranged for a moment.

IN-CHARACTER WRITING SAMPLE
Outside the darkened skies and cold winds, there was a house that brightened up the farms. The house was filled with jovial laughter and contagious smiles. There wasn't a negative vibe in the house, none at all. Inside the warm glowing house, the Bardens and the Marshalls conjoined as one family. Lovely Quinn Marshall in her obnoxious yellow sundress, platinum blonde hair in a high pony tail, and a smiling face that brightened James's day. Surrounding him was his family and step-family; they seated themselves in the living room laughing at embarrassing stories of each other. He had Quinn resting her head on his shoulder, wrapped her arms around his arm. They were on the couch listening to Howard Bardens high school tales. There was an obnoxious laugh that resonated in the house.
"Now that is BS!" Peter Marshall retorted in a joking way. Howard Barden shook his head, "It did happen and I got the scar to prove it to ay!" The early seventies man stood up and turned, beginning to lift up his shirt.
"Hell no!" Laura yelled loudly as she rose from her place on the couch to shield her eyes. Howard let out a hearty laugh when he seated himself. When the old man laughed his missing tooth was visible from a mile away. The small details James kept close attention too was memories he held dear to him. There was an ample amount of cherished memories he could recall and replay in his head like a movie. He picked out the best to bring him to a night's sleep. Tonight was another memory for his collection. He didn't speak much during the heart to hearts — listening was good as it is. Anyway, James was never the type to put out his own memories. He wasn't a funny man nor could he recall any embarrassing moment at that time.
A slight shift from his shoulders grabbed his attention. His pale blue eyes looked at Quinn. The woman stared into James's eyes as if they spoke an unspoken language only they knew. Her doe brown eyes left a loving look into James's pale blue ones. He smiled sweetly at the woman and pressed his lips softly against her forehead. She returned the favor with a kiss on the cheek leaving a faint lipstick stain. The kiss left a warm feeling on his cheek that cannot seem to leave. He rested his head on her's and continued to watch the embarrassing family stories rolled by.
His eyes grew strangely heavy, too heavy to keep open. His eyes closed and he fell into a deep sleep.
The night stole everybody's ability to continue the lively atmosphere. He could hear everybody yawning and shuffling their way up the stairs. His body shifted a bit, then realized Quinn was no longer resting her head on his shoulders. He stretched his limbs out and rubbed his eyes. The warm glow of the room rendered his ability to see. He groaned softly and rubbed his eyes once more. Once he regained his ability to see, he watched as everybody was gathering their stuff and heading out. His pale blue eyes looked up at Quinn who escorted her parents out to their car. The corners of his lips turned upwards, which formed a genuine smile.
Before his eyes could close a shoe kicked his legs. He looked up to see a slender blonde, Laura. His pale blue orbs rolled in annoyance turning his back to her. A slap got him to turn his face to Laura. She had an impatient disposition; her arms crossed, all weight on her right leg and her left foot tapped against the floor. "Yes?" James groaned.
"We gotta take Grandma home," She stated. "Can't ya just take her yourself?" He gradually shifted his body to a resting position. "No, she wants both of us to be there. She's got problems sit'n by herself in the car." The longer they spoke the more impatient Laura got. It was apparent to him, it was a similar reaction he had in the past and present. His neck lost control letting his head loll on the couch. He waited for a second more, "All right, all right." He said slowly.
He forced his body to stand on his feet. His lethargic body managed to hype itself to its original energy. His large hands were shoved into his small jean pockets. Most of his hand was exposed to the cold night, ushering out the goosebumps. The way he walked was similar to a penguin walk. The night was cold and eerie out in the farm. The long grass sang an ominous when the wind blew gently in the field. The night was never a favorable time for James, especially out in the field. Dark memories are concealed with a blithe recurring thought. He took one more long look at the field before he entered the car. He entered a simple black car in the driver's seat with Laura in the back with their grandmother.
It was certainly gonna be a long night's drive.

Name: Laura Barden
Age: 27 Years Old
Physical Extras: Laura stands at 5'8" Ft and approximately weighs about 129 Lbs. She is slender with a toned body with prominent muscular features. Her body has three inconspicuous scars that are on my ankle, shoulder, and upper arm. With that, she has her ears pierced, one on both sides.
Sexuality: Pansexual
Three Good Traits:
Carefree: She's always seen as a relaxed person with no worries or struggles. Usually spotted pushing her hair back and sitting down staring into a book; there might be a high chance she's not even reading the book. She has a laid back personality allows people to speak to her freely, making her easy to approach.
Independent: Laura is not the type to depend on anybody or anything. She is the type of woman to do things on her own or figure things out on her own. This usually forces her to become stubborn. There are times where she would refuse to use the simple instructions on the back of the box.
Observant: In spite of her laid back persona, she is a watchful person. Her eyes will catch a lot of stuff that people mostly don't notice unless they were paying attention. Laura has her eyes always wander around. She keeps a keen eye on things, sometimes her eyes catch things she wishes she hadn't seen.
Three Flaws:
Inconsiderate: This ties with her recklessness stems from her brusque executions out in the farm. Laura doesn't think before she does things, so they usually come out the wrong way. Whenever this happens it affects the people around her in a negative way.
Unappealing: First impressions aren't important to Laura, she won't work hard for someone's amiable side. She comes off unengaging in conversations, small talk is the outcome, and her words are elongated and there are no emotions to her words.
Perfidious: The people she trusts is a very small list of three people - her brother, lover, and friend. Other than that she is very exclusive and doesn't take anybody and deems them trustworthy. She isn't the type anyone should trust quickly; there is always the chance of her selling your soul for a cup of tea.

IN-CHARACTER WRITING SAMPLE
"Hush..." The slurred words fell off her lips.
Her pointer finger was placed on top of her soft lips. Icy blue orbs stared into the darkness, focused on a figure. A dark-haired girl, short and chubby, but the young Laura Barden loved that about the girl. She could hear the muffled giggles from the other girl. They were shrouded by the night's darkness - concealed in a thin blanket of black. Only they could see each other completely. Laura had her hand reached for Louise's cheek. The soft cheeks quickly radiated a warmth she knew too well. The two girls let out a soft harmonious giggle. They sat in a hardened bed, the windows were open wide to let the night's wind caress their exposed body, and the warmth of their touches. Before Laura could engage into a kiss she felt the cold wind pounded against her skin. The warmth separated itself from her. She furrowed her brow in confusion.
She spoke nothing till she heard the wooden floors creaked. "Lou?" She queried.
"I'm hungry." The shorter girl whined playfully. Laura released a soft scoff looking down at her crossed legs then at Louise. She slipped her legs out of the bed and pushed her body upwards. When she stood nearby the girl, she draped one arm around Louise. Her weight overwhelmed the shorter woman for a moment, but Laura's body was pushed away from Louise. A frown was drawn on her lips. Louise rolled her eyes and slowly turned the brass doorknob. A soft squeak brought Laura's heart to quicken - the house was asleep, people in a deep slumber. Louise took another attempt at opening the door, which made Laura worrisome. Her fingertips were between her two sets of teeth. They chewed on the soft flesh of her fingertips. The doorknob turned slowly, this time the squeak wasn't as loud as it was before. The door was pushed gingerly to avoid echoed noises.
The door was pushed open wide enough for both girls to slip out. Laura slipped out first followed by Louise. The door was closed with a sound being made. They simply had to walk past the creaky hallway. The two girls held each others hand tightly as they walked down the hallway. Each moment a sound was enacted Laura quickly came to a stop. Her heartbeat quickened and her hands begun to shake erratically. However, each moment she froze her hand was given a tight squeeze; to reassure safety. Laura nodded and continued the walk past the treacherous hallway. It simply took a few more squeezes to the hand to get to where they needed to go. The staircase was simple, there were no creaks or soft spots.
As soon as their feet touched ground floor they shuffled quickly into the kitchen. They gradually opened the fridge to pull out sweets and cold foods. Louise was the first to collapse on the floor then Laura. They sat on the floor with their backs against the fridge's door. The soft crinkle and Tupperware tops opening were accompanied with soft giggles. The night grew older as they giggled. The hour was spent in soft giggles and incoherent sentences. They shoved food into their mouths in a savage like manner and their shirts had apparent stains. A soft groan escaped Laura's lips, her head lolled resting on Louise's shoulder. "Damn..." Her voice was inaudible to Louise.
"Hm?" Louise looked over at her shoulder to see Laura.
"Tomorrow will be the day I announce our relationship. I don't think everybody will like it." The dejection in her voice brought Louise to frown. A solemn sigh came from Louise's lips. "It'll be okay, don't worry about it, okay?" The two girls looked at each other. Laura's icy blue eyes looked at Louise, both eyes locked on. A smile appeared on Laura's stoic expression. "Alright..."
Their lips met and their hopes were high.
