Blood of the Lamb

Arith looked down at him, and for the first time he smiled a bit and he reached out, placing a hand lightly on the male's head. That light, pleasant tingle ran through the other again. "If you say please," he told him patiently, "then I will gladly give you as much as you like."

Felicity blinked,up at Arith, noticing that the other was smiling. He couldn't tell if it was a real smile or a fake one. But it didn't matter. He had to say one simple word and then he could have as much came as he wanted. He shivered a,bit when Arith touched him, a thrill running through his body, his horn tingling in recognition of another magical being.

"Please."

He didn't really ask,so much as he simply said the word. And then he reached out for the cake. Unsure of whether or not he would get to it.

Arith would allow that for now, and he handed over the plate to the other, with the fork. He had seen Arith using it so perhaps Felicity would be able to figure out how to make use of it. If not, he would encourage him with that same unreadable patience to do so, telling him he would need to bathe again if he got the frosting all over his hands.

Felicity took the plate and he inspected the fork, sitting down at Arith feet unknowingly and clicking the prongs experimentally. Then he held it like Arith had and are the cake. Though he got a little on the tip,of his nose and smeared across his lips. He picked most of it off but he didn't know that there was a judge of icing on his nose. Hwen he was done he looked up at Arith again from where he was seated in the floor. And he smiled sweetly.

"Thank you..."

His cheeks flushed the most adorable shade of pink and he wasn't sure what to do with the plate so he started licking off the crumbs and icing.

Arith leaned down and wiped the male's nose off with his thumb, licking it clean. "You can have more later, but you should eat some proper food for now," he told the tiny creature at his feet. He needed him to fatten up a little, get properly healthy. If his blood was that amazing when he was in poor condition, what might he be like in full bloom.

Felicity would whisper, something to himself, and then gracefully get to his feet, and he flushed more when Arith wiped the icing from Felicitys nose and then kicked it from said finger. He was a bit bashful at times, clearly. Then he got to his feet, slender tufted tail swishing behind him as he looked out the window.

"I want to go outside."

"After you eat," Arith answered him smoothly. It seemed this was a more effective way to handle the youth. He would prod him forward towards things he wanted with certain conditions, teaching him how to properly behave and take care of himself. "Cake is delicious but doesn't help your body any."

The unicorn followed after Arith now, the thought of going outside making him much more amicable and friendly. Much more willing to do things. Bye sensed he could not escape Arith even if given the chance, so he would not bother to run off when they finally got outside. Hell he was going to eat whatever Arith gave him... Almost. If it meant be could go outside. So be skipped along behind Aruth, hopping and skipping and twirling around excitedly. Innoecent indeed,

Arith unlocked the fridge and set out some vegetables and fruits for Felicity, pouring himself a glass of wine while the unicorn ate. He didn't want to bring him about the city just yet, that was a bit dangerous, so he would take him up to the rooftop garden above his penthouse.

A garden? Now that would cheer Felicity up. Give him a chance to flaunt his magic too, he was a little vain after all. Anyway, he munched on the veggies that he liked and ate most of the fruit. And then by the time He was full he pushed the tray of food away and sighed contentedly. He couldn't eat another thing. He only ate once or twice a dag, he didn't need three meals, like a human did. Sometimes it was every other day. A Fraser was an apt description for him. Felicity then looked at Arith expectantly. Wondering what the man was drinking. Eyes on the glass of wine.

Arith noticed him looking, and raised one eyebrow slightly. "You don't want this," he informed him, finishing the glass and setting it aside. He held out his hand then. "Come along then, I'll take you outside." He led him to the balcony outside the window, and then up the narrow metal stairs along the side, though there was a railing so it was plenty safe. Up to the large aerial garden.

Felicity bouced along excitedly behind Arith. Hoping up the stairs and then smiling widely at the sight of the garden. He let go,if Writhe hand, a tingle like electricity between them as they parted. Then Felcitiy ran off to,inspect every part of the garden. Looking at his reflection in the watef, brushing the c9Nigel trees, trailing his fingers over the bushes. Finally some nature. Then he looked at the flowers, kneeling down in fr9my of a flower bed and placing his hand on the dirt. A shimmering white rose sprouted up between his fingers, free of thorns and it's petals clean as fresh snow.

Arith watched him, admiring in his own quiet way the sight of the delicate little thing in something at least resembling his natural habitat. "I don't own this garden, so if you do anything keep it in the flowerbeds please," he told the other, his tone as calm and face as hard to read as ever.

He plucked up the snow white rose he had magically grown, and he brought it over to Arith. Clearly seeking, some sort of approval from the man as he offered the dainty rose to the vampire. He had the sweetest smile on his face, and his bright eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. He wanted Arith to have some sense of pride about Felicity, his vanity demanded that he impress. And so he would try.

Arith took the rose, another of those faint and brief smiles touching his lips as he examined it, and then he tucked it behind Felicity's ear. "Hm, very lovely," he said as his red and green eyes looked over the smaller male. The mood swings and innocence, his new blood-container was just like a child. It was definitely a strange new experience.

Felicity hadn't been raised by a mother and father, he had been raised with animals, and picked up language from passing travellers through his forest. He didn't know any other way to behave than how he was. So He rocked on his feet and smiled down at his small toes. Then he rushed back,to to play in the flowers again. Changing the colors of the petals or turning them, into a crown he could wear. His horn glowing golden when he worked his magic. Never taking the rose from behind his ear.

Arith sat down on one of the benches scattered through the garden and watched the other quietly, his gaze following him. He leaned back after a time and closed his eyes, extending his senses to the area around him. His shadow crept slowly out from his feet, spreading out across the stones and the grass, like seeking tendrils.

Felicity was shoked and he let out a soft squeak, cowering when he saw the shadowy tendrils stretching across the ground, emanating from Arith. But then he looked at them again from where he'd curled in on himself, and he was startled there was a little shield of,light around him. His magic keeping the darkness away. His skin, glowed and his slightly curved horn shone golden. He was a,bit appalled that this was happening. So He reached out to touch one of the Smokey tendrils, and it snapped away from his light. He was intrigued now more so than he was shocked. And he made a little ooh as he began to chase and pounce on the tendrils. Unable to catch any of them due to his light. Keeping them away.

"Enjoying ourselves are we?" Arith asked with mild bemusement, not opening his eyes. As a creature who was partly a fallen angel, it was good for him to let out his aura at times. He usually kept it suppressed, as it was much like a secondary personality, almost another creature despite being part of him. It was troublesome, and so he only let it out now and then. The tendrils flicked at Felicity and then began to make a ring around him. Despite being dark and of a different kind of magic than he was, they did not seem exactly threatening.

Felicity hopped around, trying to step on or hit the tendrils with hands feet, dainty little thing that he was. And he giggled when the shadowy things swirled around him, trapping him in. He thought it was funny. And he waved at Arith amicably. Then he resumed his little game trying to capture the tendils of shadow. He was very amused. And he was certainly having fun for once in what felt like forever.
