Felicify, the last of his mind. Was a unicorn, a curved, horn protruding from white hair, combed onto the right side of his head. He also had a tail, a long thing tail with a,pretty white tuft at the end. He enjoyed many things, Imple things. Wandering his magic, forest during the day, playing with the deer, frolicking about. He was quite innocent in nature. He was a creature of purity. But as the last he was rare and sought after.

One day, one that seemed perfect, little Felicity was caught unaware playing in a stream with a little fawn. When suddenly, the fawn ran away, leaving young mister Felicity confused as to why. And then he would discover himself trapped in a net, tangled and fighting. His magic was no good for attacking or defending. He could only do good things like grow flowers, or heal broken wings. He could, kit free himself from this trap. Poachers. Slavers. Cruel men who would take advantage of an innocent creature as he. Bratty maybe, by innocent.

He was taken away to an auction, but kept in the back of the building, locked in a cage until his glow dimmed and his magic receded into a sleeping state. He was left dirty and tired and exhausted day after day. He would eventually, after months of this treatmeant, be out up for buying to private autioners. To the highest 'provate' bidder. And Felicity would never be out on display to the public.

The man who bought Felicity in the end was not memorable. He was not particularly wealthy or important, he simply had been given control of a certain amount of funds that he was permitted to use in order to procure merchandise for his employer. So he paid as much as they asked and Felicity was manhandled into a large crate with him nervously looking on. It was padded inside so not terribly uncomfortable, but still cramped. He was transported in this way across the city, to the penthouse of the man who he was to belong to. If man was what you would call him.

Arith had no surname, neither his sire nor dam saw fit to grant him theirs. He was a cursed being, a halfbreed. Powerful and so he was feared, but tainted and so rejected by all. He lived alone here in this grand space, no company save for the blood-containers that passed through, none of which lasted very long.

He sat now with a glass of red wine in his hand, looking on with a disinterested expression as his supplier directed the workers to place the crate in the center of his living room, and then to take the cover off, revealing the prize inside.

Felicity had been terrified at first. But now he was just sad. He was growing sadder and thinner by the day. He didn't put up much fight anymore, he was simply too weak to. He and been starved, and he had grown thin because of it. But even so still a striking beauty. With gems hanging from his chest and hips, scantily clad all the time. He was quite a stunning creature with his gradient purple horn and tail.

At first, when the cage was opened, he didn't come out. He'd have to be coaxed or forced, but one way or another he'd come out. Huddled in the floor and looking bewildered and afraid. Confused, poor thing. He was frightened, he wanted to go home. He didn't know where he was. Where were all the trees? The flowers and the birds? What was this artificial place?

Arith looked over the creature musingly, leaning forward to place his wine glass on the coffee table. "He's skinny," he said, seeming unimpressed.

His supplier wrung his hands and stammered out an apology for the condition of the merchandise. "He is, quite unique- rare. One of a kind," he said, knowing words like that would catch this fickle man's interest.

"Hmm. Leave him here for a few days I suppose. I can always send him back," Arith answered with a sigh, waving them off. They hurried to get out of the penthouse before they angered this most frightening man. "Your name," he said once they were alone, after staring at the other in silence for a few moments. "Tell me your name."

Felicity was a stranger to this world. He'd been quiet for months, but his musical help like voice had not dulled. He startled easily, and he was, simply spooked at the, moment nervous and scared. But he wasn't dead yet, he could survive alittle longer. Hopefully. He,looked at the strange man who controledthe others it seemed, and the small unicorn was perplexed. Who was he to,wield such power?

"Felicity."

He was trembling in the floor. All long legs and pale skin, the crystals dangling from a once sparkling chain now a bit dull. They were a product of his magic, and it was slumbering right now. So he seemed dull compared to his usual glowing appearance. It would take care to improve his health.

"Skinny," Arith repeated dryly. "And filthy. First thing we'll be doing is cleaning you up." He stood, gesturing for the male to follow. "Come along then," he sighed. He brought Felicity up the stairs to the bathroom and nudged him into the shower, turning on the warm water. "Wash yourself up properly," he ordered him.

Felicity was confused, but he followed the other into some sort of water room. He didn't know what anything in her was. But he was the warm water and jumped right in. Scrubbing away the dirt and grime from his skin, revealing pale pinkish but fair skin beneath. He cleaned off his white hair and his horn as well, washing his long prehensile tail and all the rest of his body. But he didn't know what soap was or shampoo or anything. He just used the water.

He paid the other man no mind while he was cleaning himself up, taking time to scrub at the crystals too, hoping to return their shin to no avail, so he sighed and just gave up. His magic would take a few days to return.

"Honestly." Arith stepped into the shower, still clothed, and he squeezed some shampoo into his hands, setting about brisking washing the other's hair properly. "Don't you know how to tend to yourself? What a useless thing Madison has brought me."

Felicity thought the other was trying to attack him, and at first would try to run but end up slipping and falling back into the water, which led to his hair being thoroughly washed. Some soap ran down his cheek and he wiped it off, sniffing it and sneezing at the funny scent. it almost smelled like flowers, but a little too strong to be natural. he huffed when he was called useless, decidedly pouting about it. He wasn't useless. And he would sit there and pout while his hair was washed up, flicking the water with his tail. It wasn't his fault he had been born and raised in a magical forest and didn't know what all this stuff was.

Arith held the male up, finishing washing him. He turned the water off then, stepping out of the shower and tossing a soft black towel to the male to dry himself with. For his own soaked clothes, he simply waved his hand and a warm breeze swirled around him, drying him instantly. "Now then, what do you eat?" he asked. He wouldn't feed from something malnourished, the taste would be terrible.

Felicity watched felt the warm breeze a bit, amazed that the other seemed to be magical as well and it made the other light up and bounce from a little excitedly smiling broadly. But then the other asked him what he ate and he made a face that clearly signified he was thinking. his nose was scrunched up cutely and his brow furrowed. His skin was pale and his hair was shorn on one side, long on the other, horn curved and pulsing blue faintly as he thought.

"Berries. And greens and sometimes honey... if I can get to it."

ihe made it quite clear he had lived in the forest ust by listing of the few things he'd ever eaten. And he didn't eat meat, he couldn't bear to eat the remains of another thing that had once been living. It wasn't part of his diet.

"A grazer," Arith said dismissively, and walked out of the bathroom, picking up the phone on the wall in the hallway and dialing downstairs. "Yes, Eric. Order in for me a selection of fruits and vegetables, and something with honey. Promptly." He hung up and wandered downstairs again to sit down and finish his drink. Essentially ignoring Felicity, as he had no further interest in him until he was ready to have his blood taken.

Felicity watched the other leave, mystified by the way he could talk to someone through that little device, wondering how it worked, but he couldn't figure it out at all, nor could he make it work no matter how he tried. So he put it back. He huffed and pouted again, wandering over to where Arith had gone, following the other's strange aura trail. it was an odd mix of dark colors. With a streak of white. We wondered what the other was that he'd have such an odd aura. Felicity's was a pure white with hints of gold in it. once he got into the room where Arith was, he sat himself down in the floor in fornt of the other and cocked his head curiously at the strange man as if trying to figure him out.

Arith looked down at the boy and raised an eyebrow at how docilely he followed him around. "Do you have no sense of danger?" he said dryly. He reached out to run his fingers over the soft, damp hair and then onto the male's horn, sensing the magic in it. His touch was light, and tingled slightly, one supernatural being recognizing another. Though he was a far darker creature than Felicity was.

Felicity only looked at him harder, squinting a bit and then smiling sweetly up at Arith, giggling a bit when the other touched his horn and he felt the tingle of magic passing between them. It was like saying hello. he shook his head a bit and smiled wider, showing off perfectly straight perfectly white teeth. His long thing tail flicking around his legs, the tufted tip fluffy and already dry. Though his hair was still damp. Felicity had lovely pink eyes, they were just, pink. The irises anyway, the rest was normal as ever. but his irises ewre pastel pink. He was such an innocent creature, untouched by the world. Untainted by others. Sure he was frightened, but he felt safer with Arith because, so far at least. The other hadn't tried to hurt him or treated him poorly.

The vampire made a small hmm and stood, going into the kitchen to pour himself another glass of wine. He was unable to survive on blood bags like the more modern of vampires, his appetite was too great and too specific for that. Wine was no substitute for a meal but it was pleasant enough and he was unable to get drunk, so he would continue to drink it until Felicity was fed and he could finally taste his blood. At which point he would decide if he was keeping this... creature.

When the food arrived, Felicity's eyes went wide with wonder at all the different fruits and veggies on demand. He tastes all of them, and he'd put back what he didn't like which wasn't much. mostly some of the veggies. he liked lettuce and celery and all the fruits except the oranges. he absolutely loved the grapes though those were his favorites. he hardly got to eat those, and he of course ate the honey, he loved that stuff too. He put it on everything. He was a strange little creature. And he smiled and ate all he could until he was stuffed and his skin began to glow faintly. Almost taking on that golden hue like his aura, white with a gold shimmer. He was really quite a sight to behold. Unicorn indeed.

Arith watched him eat as he sipped his wine, expression unreadable. Clearly he hadn't been fed lately, he'd have to tell Madison to not bring him any more containers from that particular seller. He hated having to spend time cleaning and feeding them before he could even try them out. What Felicity didn't eat he moved to the fridge, and then he headed upstairs to the bedroom, letting the male follow him as he felt he likely would.

Felicity hopped up to his feet, swaying a bit as he got a blood rush and then he rubbed his eyes and followed Arith up the stirs bounding along after him like a giddy puppy. he wondered where they were going. were they going to play a game, he hoped they were. he wanted to do something so fun. he had no idea what was happening, and surely if he did he wouldn't have run away... maybe, he really didn't have any sense of danger.

Arith sat down on the bed and beckoned the boy over with a wave of his black-nailed hand. His mismatched eyes watched him calmly, green and red. "Come here," he told him. Once the male came over he drew him into his lap, brushing his hair away from his neck as he leaned to breathe in the unicorn's scent. Then, his fangs sank into the vein, and he began to drink.

It was sugar and honey bursting across his tongue. He had never tasted blood like this before, and he gave a slight growl, holding the male tighter in case he was to try and escape.
