Blood of the Lamb

Arith was amused by this and chuckled, patting the male's head and trailing his fingers over the diamond collar. He had not been this amused by something in a long time. Affection, no, but attachment of a sort, and possessiveness for sure. Felicity was his. No one else was allowed to touch him.

Felicity looked at Arith sort of, his nose and mouth were concealed by the feather down stuffed pillow, but his pastel pink irises where directed at Arith. He smiled into the pillow and wiggled under the comforter a little, but he was asleep in kinutes. Hugging Aruths pillow and his goal flicking just out from under the ede if the comforter, hanging iff the side if the bed. He mumbled in his sleep, sometimes. He would sometimes say Arith name, or he would whine or moan. He dreamed about nice things, he'd never had a nightmare in his life.

Arith chuckled softly and went to shower and get his usual wine. He didn't get drunk so he was able to enjoy a stupid amount of alcohol. Drinking day in and day out if that was what it pleased him to do. He sat downstairs with a book and some good red liquid, resting.

Ariths good would ring. And ring. Very loudly. It was incessant. And if Arith didnt answer the caller would try again and again until Arith picked up the phone and connected their call. Felicity was soundly asleep right now, and he slumbered right through the annoying sound of the phone. And of course it would interrupt Ariths relaxing time alone without Felicity to pester and hang all over him. Of course. Arith never got a moment of peace.

Arith muttered and answered the damn phone. "What is it?" he grumbled, tapping his fingers irritably on the wall as he leaned there and waited. "If you don't have something interesting to say expect to be evicerated next time you end up on my doorstep."

A very... Suave voice came over the phone. It was very masculine, but not deep. And by the sound of it he was just as rich and sophisticated as Arith was.

"How much? For the unicorn."

On the ither end of the line a very finely dressed male lounged on his couch. It was a fine rustic looking couch that had cost him a small fortune. His name was Xavier Lumen. And it seeked he had an interest in Felicity.

"Word domination," the vampire grouched in return, and he hung up. He had no intention of dealing with any nonsense and was extremely put out that such an irritating caller was why he had a relaxing afternoon interrupted. He sighed and unplugged the phone before heading p to the bedroom.

Xavier just chuckled as Arith hung,up the phone. He was a determined creature. One just as dark and cruel as Arith could be. He let Arith have this small victory.

When Arith went up to the bedroom he would find Felicity cuddling the pillow still, and he gave a quiet and almost inaudible moan just as Arith opened the bedroom door. He was sound asleep, and was none the wiser as to the dangers in his life with Arith. He,looked so at peace therein Arith quite large bed. It dawrfed little Felicity in size. Buthe looked right at home. Comfortableand perfectly in place. Almost like...he belonged there.

Arith came to sit down next to him and ran his fingers through the youth's hair. He looked at him musingly. He knew there would be trouble. He shouldn't have taken him out. Yet he did. He sighed and kissed the male's forehead before he headed back to retrieve his wine and book, resuming his reading in the bed.

The little unicorn muttered something nonsensical in his sleep. And he turned over towardsArith, lying curled up on his side by Ariths hip, seeking out warmth. But he,would wake up maybe an hour later. His eyes fluttering open slowly, soft white lashes hiding those pretty pink eyes. He realizes he wascurled up next to Arithin the bed and he smiled very softly. Not moving but looking up at Arith and outting his head-on the mans thigh. He just kind of wanted to lay there. Where he felt comfortable and safe.

One hand absentmindedly came to rest on Felicity's head when the youth shifted, Arith turning the pages of his book with the other. It was a relaxed and pleasant sort of atmosphere. "Are you hungry?" he asked after a few minutes of them sitting this way, glancing down at the tiny male.

Felicity couldn't read. But his yes scanned the pages anyway. He lost interest quickly however when food was mentioned. And he beamed at Arith sweetly, his stomach growling a little bit when he thought of eating. And he blusheda bit in embarrassment, burrowing under the sheets shyly and poking his little head out. His horn that lovely gradient purple, the tip lavender. He didn't even have to answer that question.

Arith chuckled quietly and unearthed the youth, pulling him out and carrying him downstairs to the kitchen, where he rummaged around and pulled out some fruits and vegetables for the little one to eat. He sipped a bit of cold water as he did so, just to wash out his mouth after the rich wine.

Felicity didnt muchcare that he was completely naked in Ariths arms. And he giggled when the food was dgotten, eating the fruit first. Except the oranges. And the celery. He didnt like the celery. Or avocadoes. He wasny verypicky besides that though. And of course if there was hiney he out it on everything. Just like before. And he made the cutest faces as he ate. And he of course was generous and offered some to Arith.

Arith shook his head, letting Felicity eat it all himself. He had no need for human food and it would upset his system if he had much for solids, which vampires were not designed to consume. He had to decide what he was going to do next now. He was used to a life where he didn't do much, but with Felicity's energy it was harder to spend all day doing nothing.

Felicity suddenly got an idea and quickly finished all his food before sprinting from the room quite suddenly. He didnt much bother, checking to see if Arith followed. But he was going up to the his favorite window to do some magical art. His magic was life magic, it produced energy similar that of life itself. And his magic was connected to him. So it would dull if he grew close to death. And it would shine or glow the healthier and happier he was. He found a secluded area where he could hide from Arith and set to work making a crystal structure in his hands. It was small, palm sized. But it was a prism, and rainbows would bounce around inside of it from the light fragmenting through the crystal. It strongly resembled an actual unicorn. With four legs and a mane and a horn and all that. An animal version of himself one might say. He wanted to make something to remind Arith of him. He was certainly one to give gifts.

Arith watched him go and let it be, chuckling quietly. He had been smiling and laughing a lot more often, he realized. It was hard to feel glum or neutral even with such a bright little thing running around. He sat down and turned on the TV while he waited for his unicorn to emerge again, putting a cooking show on.

Felicity was gone for ten or fifteen minutes in total. But when he came back looking fir Arith and spotting him in the living room, he dawdled into the room with his hands behind his back, tail swishing with every delicate step. He walked up to Arith and stspped right in front if the tv. He looked nervous. And he pulled one hand out, revealing the little thing he had made but wrapped in a cloth he had snagged from the kitchen. Not really knowing it purpose and using it as he pleased. He had a lot to learn about modern living. And he held it out to Arith, hoping he would take it.

Arith looked at the little bundle wrapped in a- napkin? He took it, pulling the covering away and showing genuine surprise when he saw the little crystal unicorn. He turned it back and forth and held it up to the light, smiling a bit at the rainbows that went through it. "This is lovely little one, thank you." He pat Felicity on the head and rubbed the base of his horn.

Felicity hadfeared Arith wouldnt like to accept his gift. But when he did and then smiled. And proceeded to rub his horn, he giggled and smiled, doing a little happy dance in front if Arith. He was proud of himself for doing some good. And then he elegantly draped himself on the couch and snuggled up to Arith, hugging the mans arm and rubbing his horn along Ariths cheek a little. A sign of his affection that he diubted Arith woukd understand.
