'Seems everyone is going for the masks that Mister Lighthouse provided, but for the better. Maybe later they can band together to create their own masks better suited to their respective personalities.'
In terms of costumes/outfits. Seemed everyone was prepared for the most part, which in turn made Eli mood lighten up more so than what it was already was. The only part that did cause Eli's mood to falter is the thought of if the others' outfits/costumes being damaged and needing repairs, or even replacement.
Granted if that ever happened, Eli would no doubt offer his assistance in the repairs. Or even doing extra chores or something to help provide a replacement.
Pushing these thoughts aside, Eli forced himself to focus on the more important things. Such as the mantra going on in his head. A line that he was to repeat when his turn came when they recite the rules of the family. 'Never reveal your identities. No matter how tempting it'd be to taunt the heroes or in hopes of gaining more recognition. But some of us and I know from experience the cost of revealing your identity. Show your face, and you put the family at jeopardy. If they know your face, they know all of ours.'
Hell at this point, he was practically repeating it under his breath. As he didn't want to fumble his words or sound like he wasn't serious about it, or be quiet and meek about the rule that Eli will follow to his dying breath.
An exaggeration, part of Eli's mind hoped.
When his turn came, Eli straightened his back and repeated the rule with the upmost serious voice he could muster. Going as far as to look at the other family members during the reciting.
