Sebastian accepted the offer.

Within minutes they had their things pack, swiftly being flown home.

Gideon sent a text to Lydia.

[Gid] Sebastian and I are home, as well as Alfred. Sebastian wasn't able to take his diabetic medication, and is very sick. I called a nurse in to take care of him. His doctor will be stopping by every other hour since he's in severe pain and he's not able to wake up fully. I sent him to bed, and maybe we can stop by tomorrow if he's better.

Gideon entered Sebastian's room, running a hand over his head. "Wake up, Seb.. I need to give you medicine. You're blood sugar is rapidly rising and you can go into a coma."

Sebastian took the medicine shakily, watching as Dr. Varen was escorted into his room. "Hello, Sebastian. I'm sorry to have to make a house call.. But you're not well at all."

Gideon looked to the doctor, worry apparent on his face. "We flew home due to a blizzard. He was fine halfway through the flight.. Then he started getting sick. His face turned bright red, and he passed out on more than one occasion. He muttered how he had forgot his medicine at his girlfriend's house.. I didn't know what to do, so I made him drink some water and lay down until we got home."

The doc nodded, pressing his hand against Sebastian's forehead. "Well the meter says his blood sugar is over four hundred.. I want to put him asleep for a couple of hours and put an IV of fluids in. Of course, this will keep the blood sugar down. As soon as he wakes up, inject him with two doses of insulin and give him some bread. He'll need to rest for a day or two. That means no exerting himself or letting him leave. I noticed a neurological problem that is causing problems with walking for him.. I'll set him up with a walker and see if physical therapy will work. I also will prescribe medicines for it which you will need to give him immediately."

Gideon nodded, writing everything down. "Thanks, doc. See you in a couple of hours."

=============================================================

Shortly after, the doctor had the IV and medicine put in, and Sebastian drifted off to sleep, his body rigid.

Gideon sent a picture to Lydia, a frown on his face.

[Gid] He's out cold.. The doc is putting him in a chemically induced coma to keep his blood sugar down before his body shuts down. He told me Sebastian has a neurological problem too. Something about having troubles walking and it looks serious. He will probably be out for a day and a half or more. Not sure yet. I'll update asap.

Lydia rubbed her face, trying to decide how to tell Sayomi about Sebastian. She decided to do it the quickest way possible. Once Sayomi was wheeled back into, she sat up looking between her father and Lydia."they said everything looks great. Now it's just to heal." Lydia stood and walked over to Sayomi, showing her the picture of Sebastian and what Gideon said. Sayomi froze, looking at it. "I.. can you leave me alone for a bit? Go down and get yourself some food. I'm going to call Gideon and rest as the next wave of morphine kicks in." The two nodded and left.

Once the two were away from the cook she called a taxi, telling to come up to her room. Carefully, she pulled herself out of bed, leaning on her food tray for support. She filled up three needles with Morphin, putting them in her pockets. Soon the taxi driver was there, and she directed him where to get her some scrubs. As carefully as she could, she changed into them, tearing at the stitches lightly.

She shot off the heartmonitors and took out her IV, then the taxi driver started to help her out of the room. Once they found a wheelchair, the two ran out of the hospital, ma king sure not to get caught. Sayomi tried her best to direct the taxi driver to Sebastian's house. After a few failed attempts, they found the right house.

The driver helped her out and drug her through the rain to the front door, knocking softly. A maid opened the door, and stood back as the two entered. The driver picked Sayomi up as she struggled through the pain and the drugs to stand anymore. The man placed her in a hallway that the maid told him to wait in as she went to get Gideon and Alfred. Tears ran down Sayomi's face from pain. She paid the man after all his fighting, and he went out to his car. He was waiting for a short time, like she asked of him.

Gideon's eyes widened as he and Alfred noticed Sayomi in the waiting area. "What the hell are you doing? Is this what you want? To die? I'm calling Lydia."

He pulled open his phone, informing Lydia where Sayomi was. He hung up, picking Sayomi up in his arms and carrying her down the hallway into Sebastian's new room.

He sat her in a chair next to the bed, shaking his head. "There. I can tell you just wanted to see him.. But this is insane, Sayomi. He's completely out of it. He's in a chemically induced coma... He talked of how much he missed you before they put him out. He's really sick, as are you. You need to go back to the hospital and heal. Sebastian will be fine once they figure out what to do."

Alfred nodded, wrapping a giant robe around Sayomi. "He's a fighter, that's for sure.. I never knew this boy to stop fighting. When he was younger the family went on a cruise. A diabetic woman fell into a coma and he used the last of his medicine to make sure she was okay. He ended up sick for weeks because of that. But he didn't care. He will pull through. You, on the other hand.. You'll become more sick if you do not go back. You know this."

Gideon nodded, texting Lydia and telling her to pick Sayomi up. "We all care for you deeply.. But Sebastian had instructed me to make sure you're okay. He didn't want you to worry.. Especially when he is not physically able to be there for you. It kills him inside."

Sayomi looked at the two. They kept calling her sick, not injured. She was shot, not battling a virus or disease. "You can think it's crazy, but it's not as crazy as you think. It would be all pain management. They did another MRI and found nothing. They did an ultrasound, and there is no internal bleeding, and the stitches look great."

She took Sebastian's hand in hers, feeling horrible for everything. "You can think it's crazy. But there isn't anything that I can't do there that I can't so here, or in the comfort of my own home. I have some morphine for if the pain gets bad, but I'm not like most people in the hospital. I know most of what to do and look for. If I'm not here, I'm going home. I don't want be stuck in an uncomfortable bed, in a room with people coming in every hour and constant beeping." Slowly, she stood. Her legs were finally learning how to wor again as more of the morphine wore off. Her whole body felt numb, she figured mild shoe still, mixed with the surgeries and morphine. She kissed his forehead, and looked at Gideon once more.

"I know I'm not his doctor or anything, but I would recommend going to the pharmacy and getting either what's called NPH or Lantas. They are longer acting insulin. NPH lasts 8 hours. And Lantas works best if given twice a day." She took the robe off, knowing that any minute either her father or Lydia would be there to get her. "They work very well when mixed with short acting insulin. It helps control the peaks of the short and keep them down with less insulin."

Sayomi walked over and hugged Gideon and Alfred. "Thank you both. For everything that you have done. Not just for me. But him, too."

Gideon had accepted the hug, as well as Alfred. "Go, get some rest. You're not 'sick', but you definitely are injured."

Hours later, Gideon had retreated to the den, a glass of white wine in his hand. He shook his head, a tear falling out of his eye in worry. The doctor entered, a small frown on his face. "Hello, Gideon.. Uh.. I just checked his vitals. Something is not right..."

Gideon stood, running a hand through his hair. "What is it?"

Doctor Varen shook his head, looking down at Sebastian's chart. "The neurological disorder will worsen when his blood sugar rises. That seems to explain why he passed out and couldn't walk. His heart isn't reacting to all of the fluids. Basically it's drowning itself. I put him on more medication to try and reverse the heart problems.. Right now I'm keeping him in the coma. We'll wait and see what happens."

When Sayomi went out, she saw not her father nor Lydia, but the cab driver still there. After all the time, he had waited for her just in case. Sayomi thanked him and asked if he could take her home. He nodded as he helped her into the car. "You are sure you don't want to return home, miss. The news is ranting about your escape. They think you may have had something to do with everything." She let out a laugh. "Let them. If i am to die, at this point there is nothing they could do. And I would rather die in my home. Not in a hospital." The man shrugged and took her home.

[Lydia] She is still there with you, right Gideon? The police are going to get her with an ambulance. They must transfer her possibly out if state. The hospital is lock down again. New gang members have arrived.. they killed the other girl.. now looking for Sayomi.

Once they arrived at her house, the man helped Sayomi into the house, and onto the couch. She didn't have the energy to go anywhere else. She paid him, asking for his personal number, just in case she needed help or at any point in the future needed a cab. He locked the door behind himself as he left.

Slowly she withdrew the syringe with morphine in it. It was introvascular, but she didn't have the patients to do that. So she shoved the needle through the scrubs into her thigh. She added a couple extra units because of it being in her muscle and not her vein. After so long, she passed out, cuddling the pillow. Soon after, there was a crash from her room.

Gideon called Lydia, his eyes wide. "Lydia! She left in a cab! Something about going to her house.. I-I can't leave Sebastian. He's having heart problems.. Please, tell me she's alright!"

He hung up, rushing into Sebastian's room as he heard beeping noises. The doctor was performing CPR, his eyes narrowed in frustration. "Live, dammit!"

Finally, Sebastian's hear rate went back to normal. Dr. Varen sighed in relief, sitting down beside Sebastian on the bed. "I came to check in on him and noticed that the fluids were dripping too fast. That was causing part of the heart problem.. But he might have damage from it.." Gideon shook his head, putting his head in his hands slowly. "He was just fine last night.."

Doctor Varen nodded, patting Gideon's back. "That was when he had the medicine in his system. I told you both the other day that it could be deadly if he didn't take care of it. And here we are. But I am his doctor, and I will assure that he makes it."

When Gideon told Lydia that Sayomi left in a cab, her heart stopped. "I.. I cant say if she is okay! No one has been allowed to leave the hospital. But the people are here. The cops are everywhere outside. They haven't come to the room yet." As the two hung up, the door opened, and there was three guys with guns. They used their phone as they looked, their guns pointed at Lydia and Sayomi's dad.

"She isn't here. They got her out before we arrived. Search her house."

Sayomi woke up a little as she heard the glass break, but wasn't able to comprehend what was going on. She heard whispers, but wasn't able to distinguish if they were real or the morphine. Then there was a laugh. "She is passed out in the couch, boss. We got this."

Lydia dialed the police from her pocket, staring at the men. "How did you find out where she lives?" They laughed loudly "You dumb bitch. The same way we found the room. We looked in her record."

Sayomi woke up, as there was a hand in her throat. The adrenaline that surged through her over came the morphine. She looked at the man. She fought to get his hand off of her, but was limited on her mobility. She started to loose consiousness as he removed his hand. "I'm going to show you only a fraction of what we did to the other bitch." He threw her over her shoulder, taking her to her room.

He threw Sayomi on the bed, undressing him self. She tried to think of what to do, then remembered the other syringes that were in her pocket. She removed one, and tucked it under her back as the man got on the bed. As he started to undress her, she fought. Sayomi managed to kick him in the face, sending him backwards. She got up, tearing the stitches from her abdomen.

Once the man was up, she grabbed the syringe and shoved it in his neck, and pushed the plunger down. He looked at her, while she counted. After 8 seconds, the man fell. She didn't know if it would kill him or not, but she had no other options. She stood, trying to go get the house phone, when there was another man staring at her from the den.

Gideon sat next to Sebastian, watching the doctor perform CPR again. His heart began to stabilize, and the doctor slumped down in a chair. After a few minutes, he put more medicine into Sebastian's IV, his eyes narrowed in concentration. "If his heart gives out one more time.. He'll be dead. But this medicine should be able to stop the heart rate and blood pressure issues."

Gideon shook his head, running a hand over his face in worry. "What should I do after he wakes up?" The doctor shrugged, putting an oxygen mask onto Sebastian's face and looking over at Gideon. "Well.. He is to have organic food only for a couple of days.. Avoid giving him salt. When the weekend is over, I'll have you bring him in.. He has a heart condition that I just found... I'll know more once I perform tests. But for now it seems that it's going to get worse if he isn't on medication. As for the neurological disorder.. Well, when he wakes up he won't be able to move his legs or stand. I ordered a wheel chair that he will need to use for about a week at the most."

Gideon's eyes widened, his body tense. "A week? What is this disorder?" Doctor Varen shook his head, opening Sebastian's chart. "I'm not sure yet. I need tests.. The way it seems is that it affects motor skills. He'll be frustrated and upset.. But medication and physical therapy will have to wait until he's healthy enough to leave the house. Soon I will have to admit him into the hospital to have heart surgery performed. The best thing for him right now is rest, though."

Gideon nodded, writing all the instructions down. "The wheel chair will be arriving soon? Will there be physical limitations right this moment?" Doctor Varen nodded, writing down notes in Sebastian's file. "I ordered oxygen that will be delivered as well. The physical limitations will be the worst. He won't really be able to move his arms that much. His hands will be the only motor skill he can use besides talking.. It'll be as if he had suffered as stroke, though he can and will be able to talk. Just make him comfortable and assure him that he will be okay. I will stay for two more hours and then I need to leave.. The hospital has requested I come in and help with a big problem."

Gideon nodded, smiling. "Thanks so much, doc."

Sayomi took a few steps back. She was pretty well cornered. She couldn't out run him. She couldn't go farther than her room, she was already bleeding from ripped stitches. The man knew he had won. He held his gun up to her. Sayomi closed her eyes, waiting. There was a loud gun shot, and she felt warm blood on her face, but no pain. She opened an eye, and there was the cop from the hospital again. He ran over to her, and managed to catch her before she fell to her knees. "I got you. I wasn't able to protect you last time, but I got you this time." He held onto her as he pulled a blanket from a chair, wrapping her with it. The pain and exhaustion of everything was catching up to her and she started to pass out in his arms. Suddenly, Sayomi remembered why she had been around the girl when she was shot. "I remember what I found on the girl..."

Ambulance and police showed up, they strapped Sayomi down, and tried to contain the bleeding as they waited for a call on where to take her. The hospital wad still on lock down.

Sayomi's dad watched as the three argued. He looked at Lydia and motioned for her to move. "What are you doing?! Stay where you are!" One yelled at her. She froze, then kept walking. "I have to to pee. You can watch me if you want. But, I'm going to the bathroom. " the three looked between eachother and allowed it, mostly wanting to watch.

As Lydia went about her business, the three turned their back to Michael. He took advantage of it and snuck behind the one closest to him. He chocked him, until he passed out, which didn't take long with Michael's strength. He grabbed the gun, the grabed the other man, causing the last to turn to him. Michael was already holding the gun to his head. He pulled the trigger and the guy dropped, and he shot the one he was holding in the abdomen, just like he shot Sayomi. The cops charged in at the gunshots.

"They sent people to my house.. My daughter is there. Please..." He begged the cops. The put their guns away and approached Michael. "We have her. We were waiting until we could take them out, without jeapordizing you two."

Gideon took the opportunity to call Sebastian's mother Jennifer before the doctor left. "Uh.. Hey, Jenny.. It's about Sebastian.. H-He's not doing so well." Jennifer was silent on the phone, her breath the only thing that could be heard. "So why are you calling, Gideon?" Gideon gasped in shock, shaking his head and looking down at the phone. "He's your son! Don't you care?!" Jennifer sighed, her tone reminding Gideon of a worthless mother. "Not really, Gid... I lost everything. And he didn't care. I'm moving out of state soon. Take care."

Gideon listened as Jennifer hung up. He didn't know how he'd break the news to Sebastian. He sighed, curling up on the couch and laying down. "Doc.. Wake me up before you leave."

Sayomi was taken right back into the operating room to fix her stitches that came loose. The police talked to her dad and Lydia, except the one who saved her. He watched the process, waiting for it to be over. He had decided that he would be the one to keep watch over her, until everything was sorted out.

When the surgery was over, they wheeled her back into her room, asking everyone to step out while they talked. The cop sat next to her, worried for the next step that the gang would take. After awhile, no one entered, so he stood and stretched. He noticed hair was in Sayomi's face and brushed it out, only to wake her up. "I-I'm officer Palsey. But you can call my Thomas. I'm sorry for waking you. Are you feeling alright?" He pushed the nurse button as instructed. She stared at him for a bit, before finally speaking. "I.. I'm sore. And I honestly don't know what to feel. With happened, and what almost happened."

Sayomi felt defiled and gross just from having the man touch her, and what he thought about doing to her. Though nothing happened, for some reason, she was ashamed. "It's normal. Don't worry. I'm sure Mr. Black won't think even close to the same thing that you do." Sayomi looked at him confused. How did he know that Sebastian was her boyfriend. "Pretty much everyone knows who you, Ms. Chi. If the famous Sebastian Black thanks you in his acceptance speech of a high award, you have no privacy." Before she could answer, there was yelling from the hallways.

Lydia and her father burst in and turned on the television. The news was reporting everything that happened. From the original story, to what had just happened, even to what the men had wanted to do to her. Then at the end, they started to question where Sebastian was and why he hadn't been there for her. "Dr. Sullivan is attempting to hunt down the rat who is giving them all their information."

Lydia pulled out her phone and texted Gideon.

[Lydia] They got her here and restitched. Turn on the news.

Gideon watched the news in a daze, shaking his head and returning to Sebastian's room

[Message sent to Lydia from: Gideon] Sebastian is finally waking up.. Don't tell Sayomi yet... But Sebastian will be in a wheel chair for a week or more.. He'll have to go sometime soon and get minor heart surgery done. After that he should be alright. I hope she's alright. Keep us updated.

The doctor had left over an hour ago, leaving Gideon alone in Sebastian's room. Sebastian woke up, his head and eyes foggy. He tried to lift his arm, though it was very difficult. He looked beside him, noticing that it was Gideon. "Gid.. I-I'm having trouble moving my arms. Help me up."

Gideon sighed, shaking his head. "Uh.. I have some things to tell you, Seb.. The doctor said that you have a neurological problem that is hindering you from walking and moving your arms. Uh.. He said you have heart problems like your father and that you need to get surgery done for it.. He wants tests done but you need to rest and stay at home for now. I have a wheel chair and oxygen that he insisted on ordering because you need it."

Sebastian was in shock; His head was spinning. He looked to Gideon, denial filling his mind. "No.. I can walk. I'll show you." He rolled off the bed, intending to stand, though he fell hard to the floor. He groaned, allowing Alfred and Gideon to quickly pick him up. "I-I guess your right." Gideon frowned, nodding and sitting down on the bed. "It's going to be okay. They will fix it all. Uh.. Sayomi was attacked again. Attempted rape from a gang member. She is okay, though the news thinks you're being a prick for not going to the hospital to be with her."

Sebastian sighed, rubbing his eyes with his hands. "I should have been there. I miss her so much." Gideon rolled his eyes, having Alfred help him get Sebastian into the wheel chair. He hooked an oxygen tank to a nasal cannula and put it on Sebastian's face. "You were in a coma for crying out loud.. You couldn't control what happened." He grabbed the IV rack, bringing it along with him and wheeling Sebastian out into the massive living room. "Sayomi was here.. Wasn't she? I can smell her on me." Gideon nodded, hugging Sebastian tightly. "You gave me a huge scare, Seb. She came here a bandaged up to see you.. She was worried sick."

Sayomi talked to not just Thomas, but other police. They wanted her story, and to also check on her. They were surprised that she survived two encounters with high ranking gang members. They assured her that Thomas would be there with her until she left the hospital. They also said that if there was any more attempts on her life, they would be forced to relocate her out of state.

The police left, and Thomas laid down on the couch in the room as Sayomi and her father talked. She might be in trouble for stealing the morphine from the hospital and then using it on the man. They still weren't sure if he would survive or not. She would take whatever punishment from stealing, but would fight attacking the man. He came for her first, and that wasn't fair.

Lydia's phone started to buzz and she looked at Sayomi. Then she walked over, and took the heartmonitors off of her chest, causing them to go crazy. She left them close enough to the sites that they could be easily reattached. "Just act like you are asleep and not breathing. Long story short it's to find the person who is relaying information to the news." Sayomi didn't have it in her to argue, so she did as she was told. A team ran in, she only recognized Dr. Sullivan and one of the nurses. The rest she had no idea. So she guessed this nurse was one they were trying to fool. The nurse stated back while the others tried to "revive" her. Everything was for show, and made her uncomfortable with how close they were. Soon she was "alive" again. They stepped back and the nurse took notes.

"Okay you bunch! Just remember. What happened in this room is to be kept from everyone. Her monitor is in my office alone, locked. Someone is breaking the law and we need to minimize what gets out. You all leave, and I'll see what I can find on her." They nodded and left Sullivan laughed as the door shut. "We have narrowed it down to two. Either the news will think you almost died, or that you did. Give it five to twenty minutes and we will know." He checked over Sayomi, making sure everything was looking good, and decided to draw blood to make sure everything is fine. He sent them down to the lab, and then sat, the group laughing and talking. Then the news chimed up, interrupting the sports. They thought that she was dead and they were reporting that to everyone. Dr. Sullivan stood and patted Sayomi's hand. Then he left to go take care of business.

Sebastian watched the news, shaking his head as they reported Sayomi dead. He had Gideon send a text to Lydia.

[Gid] Hey what is this about Sayomi dead?! Is she okay?

Sebastian sat in the wheel chair, shaking his head. Gideon sighed, looking away. "How do you feel about all this?" Sebastian shrugged, moving his fingers silently. "I'm not sure. It's so strange to be confined to a wheel chair." Gideon nodded, smiling. "Hey. I can help you into the car and we can go on a drive.. Where would you like to go?" Sebastian shrugged, looking over at Gideon. "The hospital." Gideon nodded, standing and pushing Sebastian's wheel chair as well as the oxygen tank. "Let's go, then.."

[Gid] We're coming to the hospital to see Sayomi. Sebastian needs to get blood tests done anyways.

Sayomi had fallen asleep, again. She didn't have much else to do, and was just all around exhausted. If felt like she had only been asleep for a few minutes before there was a tap on her shoulder. She jumped, looking at who was touching her. It was Thomas. "There is someone that is insisting to talk to you. He won't give a name. But be says it's important."

She nodded, allowing the man to come in. He was probably only in his mid-twenties. He was average dressed, nothing to make him stick out of the crowd. "Hello, Ms. Chi, you don't know me. But I know you. Apparently you are the cause behind some of my men being killed." Her eyes widened, as Thomas reached for his gun. The man rose his hand. "Or were my men. It seems that they were trying to branch off, start their own thing. I'm not sure exactly how deep it goes, but I know at least a heroine and a sex slave ring. Obviously they were not as clever as they though." He folded his hands and looked at everyone in the room. "I have come to let you know, that what ever he has started, I have put a stop to. I will ensure that you are safe. You see, I have a daughter. She is five. And I will not see things like this happen to other women. Other men's daughters. So I am offering my protection and word, that nothing else will happen to you, nor your family." He handed her a card with a number on it, bowed his head, and left the room.

Sayomi looked at the card, then at Thomas. As she fought to sit up, she winced as pain took over her back. Then Lydia saw blood. She called the doctor quickly. There was a small pool of blood where she had been laying. The doctor rushed in and saw the blood too. He instructed the nurse to help turn her to her back. Dr. Sullivan opened her gown and saw two shards of glass in her back. "You must have been tossed on some broken glass and the adrenaline made you not feel it. We need to get them out."

He got some long tweezers, and pulled out the smaller of the two. She growned at the pain, breathing heavily. "This next one is deeper." He pulled lightly and she winced loudly, tears slowly flooding her face. She tried to pull harder, and she let out a soft scream. "No no no.. stop. I cant. It hurts too bad!" The nurse held onto her tighter as the doctor continued to pull. Sayomi let out a small scream of pain as it came out. "She will need mild stitches on this one." He pulled out everything from a cupboard to start the stitches.

Gideon decided to take Sebastian out for a drive and to talk while eating some ice cream. Sebastian tried his best to smile and accept everything that had happened. But deep down he knew that this wasn't right. "Hey.. Gid. Why aren't we headed to the hospital?" Gideon shrugged, looking away. "There are too many reporters and Lydia isn't talking to me for some reason.. I figure giving them all some time alone is better for us. Besides.. You need to be hooked up to that IV for a while longer." Sebastian sighed, trying to raise his arms and getting frustrated with the fact that he couldn't. "Did my mom call?" Gideon nodded, eating his ice cream and avoiding the topic. Sebastian frowned, looking away. "And?" Gideon swallowed hard, trying to occupy himself. "Do you want the good or bad news?" Sebastian sighed, shrugging slightly. "Just give it to me straight." Gideon turned, looking over at Sebastian with a tear in his eye. "She didn't care, Seb. I decided to just adopt you as my own.. I know I'm not like your mother or anything like your father was.. But if something happens again you don't have anyone." Sebastian smiled, nodding. "Okay. My mom never seemed to truly care. It happens... I just wish I knew why." Gideon nodded, starting up the car.

In no time they were home, and Sebastian was wheeled into the house by Alfred. "Thanks, Alfred. You're such a great guy." Alfred smiled, patting Sebastian's shoulder lightly. "It's the least I can do. Shall I help you run a bath?" Sebastian shook his head, checking his phone and receiving no notifications. "No.. I am going to sleep. I'm exhausted for some reason." Gideon laughed lightly, hugging Sebastian tightly. "No wonder.. That neurological problem plus the coma and CPR is enough for anyone to become exhausted. Alfred will tuck you in."

Sayomi cried as the doctor stitched her up. It was a lot of pain, but didn't want to be put under again. After she was done, she stayed on her side. She looked at her father, then at Lydia. "H-have you heard anything from Gideon? Is Sebastian alright?" Lydia snapped from her thoughts and checked her phone. It was dead. She quickly went and plugged in her phone. "It's turning on. Hold on." Sayomi nodded weakly and closed her eyes, her father rubbed her her legs, and Thomas rubbed her back softly. They were both trying to help her relax.

[Lydia] My phone died, I'm so sorry. She is fine. They weeded out who was given the news their stories. She had glass in her back. It's out now.

The news apologized for their mistake on Sayomi being dead. They also stated that they were being instructed to leave or would risk going to jail.

Sayomi ended up throwing up again. They came in and started new bags of fluids. Her body was taking too much blood loss and morphine. They let her stay on her side as long as it wasn't causing distress to her stitches.

[Lydia] She is starting to look like Frankenstein's monster with all these stitches. I didn't tell her that you guys were going to come up here, so she doesn't know. She keeps asking about him though.

Gideon woke up on the couch, his mind spinning. How long had he been asleep? He read the text message, shaking his head.

[Gid] We went out for a drive but I will wake him up and see if he'd like to go.. He's going to look bad, but I don't want Sayomi worrying. He still can't move his legs or arms.

Sebastian awoke slowly, smiling at Gideon and trying to sit up. "What's going on?" Gideon chuckled, looking down at his phone. "Coast is clear. Want to go?" Sebastian nodded, looking over at his laptop and sighing. "I need to get a hold of my company.. I need to get this fixed." Alfred and Gideon helped him up, ignoring his comment and wheeling him outside along with his oxygen tank and his IV rack.

They both drove him to the hospital. Sebastian inhaled deeply, smiling at the thought of seeing Sayomi in person. It had been two or three days before he had seen her last. "Let's go! Hurry!" Gideon rolled his eyes, whistling slightly and pushing him slower. "We're not rushing to do anything right now. Shush."

They looked for Sayomi's room, finally finding it. Gideon had Alfred wait outside with Sebastian, walking slowly into Sayomi's room.

"Hey Sayomi... Uh, I have someone who'd like to see you.. But you have to promise that when you see him you won't get upset."

Sayomi slept for awhile, before she was awaken by a nurse. "We have some food for you. Make sure to eat slow." Sayomi hadn't paid attention to the fact that she couldn't even remember the last time she had eaten. The nurse helped her sit, then left.

Lydia sat at her feet talking, making sure that Sayomi ate slowly. She ate as much as she possibly could, before feeling sick. She grew pale, so Lydia helped her lay down. Lydia pushed the tray away, buzzing the nurses to take the tray away.

She layed back, breathing heavily, trying not to throw up again. Her father had left to finish a few things up at the base and with the police. Thomas had a book, that he started reading out loud for Sayoni to hear as she closed her eyes.

Before long, she had fallen asleep to Thomas's voice. She woke up as she heard someone entered, and when she saw that it was Gideon. She got extremely excited as she saw him, her face glowing as much as the pale skin permitted. She nodded, excited to see Sebastian.
