Awesome, telekinesis would be good for them, magically control the brushes and instruments. You could also have very powerful magic if their weakness is having to either play music or paint to do them to balance it out.

Except this doesn't have FMA alchemy, in this realm alchemy is the art of potion making and the attempts to turn materials into other materials. You could do FMA alchemy which would be called magical alchemy and wouldn't work the same way.

I'm well versed in both fma alchemy and (because I so love recreational reading) real alchemy as well

Bards have awesome party buffs and can deal a good amount of damage.

And we aren't talking about the games....We are looking for a way to give music a magic twist, the easiest way to do that it's with bards

I don't think so...

Far as i know bards have more agility than clerics and moar buffs :3 (Now pls let's stop complaining about this)
