In many ways. There are some things that I don't agree with in Canadian law, mostly doing with firearms and the like, but in many other ways I'd say its a few years ahead of the US. Has worked out a few more of the kinks. Of course it has had fewer kinks to work out i.e. race relations never really got to be a big deal like they did in the US. That sort of stuff.

That moment when it's Sunday and you tell yourself "I'm gonna study hard for the test tomorrow!" and you sit down to study... And after about half a day of writing one single topic of Chemistry worth 6 pages you decide to call a friend to ask them something... And that friend says "Oh, yah, did you write that thing in Literature?"... And you suddenly remember... And that thing in Literature is due on Monday (aka tomorrow).... And you wanted to write on Iwakuro... Yaaah, my brain just went "Oh, **** this test".

In any case, I have no idea what I did on the test and neither does the rest of the class. Our teacher was so motivated right up until the beginning of this school year. Since 15th September she's been an absolute demotivational poster, if I've ever seen one. Honestly, if a teacher or lector is not eager and ready to teach their class, no one will be interested in anything they say. They will simply stay in one seat for the next 45 minutes and wonder why they are even there or just turn around and talk to their friends. Alright, I would have understood, if it was another subject, but this is Chemistry. This is a special subject the majority of us will study at university. I sincerely pity everyone from my class, who has decided to take up medicine in their higher education and the entrance for their university requires a sit-down exam, where they will be forced to write on a certain topic from the entire material from the past few years for approximately 5 hours. Unlike the Biology topics, from which only a few go past the 3 page line, most Chemistry text go beyond 6 pages and they have specific dates and scientists, whose names are sometimes even hard to pronounce. Thankfully, veterinary medicine does not require such an exam and we will only study Chemistry in two semesters, once in our first year and once in our third year. Unfortunately, there is a certain downfall to this, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth... *sigh*


Please, excuse my rant, yet I found it befitting of the overall matter you were all discussing. Potatocat, if you truly wish to be a teacher, be prepared to be full of motivation 24/7 XD

Phone's will be happy (I swear I cannot picture phones as a female, I just labelled her as a male I guess :/ ) She seems like the type to enjoy seeing friendship between her players.

If you need we can make a pm group though Phones, if you want to keep the Ooc a little quieter that is :)

There is no need for a PM group, unless there is really something private you wish to tell one another. Indeed, I am happy to see my players getting along nicely. Write away freely here, so long as it is not something sexual or a one-word/picture/gif/video kind of post.

Lol, I hadn't even realised that Art referred to me xD I've been called Alida, Ali, All, Mary, Amy, Merica, Marieke, Music, Mar, Mer, Elliot, Apple and several other names, but Art is a first, good job hahaha.

Yah, I did. And I have apparently lost my Russian notebook and student's book, which is unnerving, because I hate losing things. Even if my room may appear messy, I know where each and every single thing is. I searched the entire school and they are nowhere in sight. Even the cleaning ladies don't know... *sigh* Thus far, the only good school thing from today is that in the two tests and one interpretation text, the latter of which was something like a final exam for this term, which we had to write for two hours, which the teacher returned to us today, I have all 6s, which is the highest mark in our school marking system. A total of 3 sixes, all in Literature. Not like I didn't have enough already. -_- The only thing I was a bit worried about was that interpretation text, but the review my teacher gave me was excellent, which means I shouldn't be too stressed about the final in Literature.

Too usually means more along the lines of "Also". "I too will be eating bratwurst". To is more for linking a verb with a noun such as "I am going to the store."

You should make a grammar guide in the Roleplay Institute which only uses sausage oriented examples. It would also be more appropriately word like this: I will be eating bratwurst too.

And I would compare it more closely to "as well" rather than "also."
