The sight, combined with the guttural growls, did cause him to stumble back instantaneously, even when the ferocity subsided - he was hardly going to approach, regardless of the wolves' sudden recognition of the pixie. Though while he remained sheepish, with back pressed against the tree behind him, Jynx had immediately leapt in defence of him, snarling as fiercely as she could for a young husky, though fearing they could theoretically attack her, Alessandro gathered himself and motioned her back. "...Th-They're huge, Arrosa...."

"Well, of course! They're wolves!" He laughed, petting the three with a wide smile. Whispering something into the one wolf's ear, he led him up the ravine carefully while the other two remained at the base of the river. Letting out a huff once at the top, he motioned Alessandro to pet the presumed pack leader. "This is Victus. He's the leader of the pack of wolves that got lost a few years back, they've been living with me ever since. I promise, he won't hurt either of you."

"I'm not petting him, no way. Sorry, that's-- he looks vicious," he grimaced, his voice wavering as he kept a good distance between him and the animal, and while still fearing Jynx could get hurt, he did allow her to sit in front of him in her efforts of defence, even if her stance, at the moment, wasn't defensive. If Victus attempted to get close to her master, though? She wouldn't think twice about striking him. "...He's cute though, I'll... give you that..."

Watching as the wolf mimicked the same stance besides the pixie, he was greeted with affectionate rubs and coos from Arrosa. "See? He won't hurt a fly, especially knowing that you're a friend. It's almost rude NOT to pet him, after all. Wouldn't you be mad if you offered someone to pet Jynx and they said no?"

"Yes, well... it's also rude when you told me how to deal with my dog, so... let's just use my refusal to set the slate clean," he said cautiously, his hand wavering before finally moving to pat the wolf's head, for literally two seconds before repelling. The fact Jynx jealously growled did help him to tug himself away, too, with the husky curling closer to him and attempting to block his view of the other canine creature.

"The other two, in the ravine, are his family. The smaller one is their daughter, and the more reddish one is the mother. Now, the daughter hasn't picked a name yet..." He babbled, absolutely obsessed with the wolves. "They're amazing, really. I wish they could have a home as well..."

"If that's some sort of hint, you can get lost," the usually shy boy blurted, proving that the more time he spent with someone, the more comfortable he became. Yet, that usually occurred over a few weeks, not a day and a bit. "They... They aren't staying in my home, no offence. Jynx and my safety has to come first, so..."

His joyful, childish smile dropped at his words, causing him to pout in protest. "Really? I-I mean... okay, fine. But, can they at least stay somewhere out of the rain? I can't find anything big enough for the three together, and they're my best friends..."

"They're wolves. I don't mean to be... well, mean, but they're fine in the rain and I really don't think they ought to be inside, especially in my apartment, and there isn't anywhere else for them to go, so... sorry, b-but I'm pretty sure they're fine with some drizzle and whatnot. They're would animals," he mumbled, understanding completely that the other would have bonded with the three and seen them as family, especially if they were the only friends he had had for years, but that didn't mean by any stretch of the imagination that he was going to allow them in his apartment. There was his general opposition, but playing the rule book meant it was impossible - technically, he was only allowed one pet in the apartment, and wolves probably didn't even count as pets anyway.

"Sorry," he apologised hurriedly again, taking his attention away by focusing and crouching beside Jynx to pet her. "I... I don't mind visiting them with you, though."

"... Fine..." He replied flatly, affectionately rubbing through the wolf's fur with a purr. "I get that. They're too big and you're obviously scared, which is silly..."

"You're a pixie, you... you're in tune with nature and animals and-- I'm not. Jynx is the biggest pet I've had, and... wolves are just-- I suppose they... they can come, if you, uh... if you care for 'em, make sure nobody sees them," he said under his breath, learning quite a lot about himself in the process of socialising with Arrosa. Mostly, that he really couldn't continue saying no to him for whatever reason. "The moment they attack Jynx, though -if they ever did- I want them out, g-got it? She's... my best friend, so..."

"Mhm!" He replied immediately, before sliding down the ravine to the two other wolves. Whispering to both of them, he immediately patted his legs to motion the family to follow. "Oh, Alessandro, this means so much to me! To us!" He babbled, cheeks rosy at the idea of their small family happy and under a warm roof. "I owe you so much, uh..."

"Yeah, w-well... I'm risking my apartment for you, so least I ask is that you care for them," he smiled, unable to deny just how happy it made him to see Arrosa happy, yet he still couldn't pinpoint just why that was. "Now, they're not, like... like you, are they? They're purely just wolves? I don't want to wake up and witness them, like, nine foot tall with three heads and a thirst for blood, or whatever, h-ha..."

"Mm... Maybe? I'm not quite sure, to be honest! I mean, they definitely have lived quite a long time, so it would make sense..." He blurted, giggling in excitement. "I wouldn't be surprised if they were a family of werewolves, though most have already traveled up the mountain..."

"They'd better not be. Honestly, I never thought I'd say it, but I'm happy with them being normal, bog-standard wolves," he admitted tiredly, gesturing Jynx close, his protectiveness continuing to stand out in fear of her being attacked. "Now, uh... can you keep them over your side, not near me?"

"They won't hurt you." He reassured, moving to carefully lead them into the apartment parking. "They're like Jynx, kind and loyal until you mess with them."

"Difference is, Jynx... isn't wild, or feral, or dangerous. She's basically harmless," he murmured under his breath, trying to constantly distinguish the differences between the animals, even if essentially the all appeared similar: loyal to Arrosa and Alessandro respectively, and only vicious if their effective masters were threatened or harmed. And besides, the wolves may not even be entirely that, it hadn't been confirmed or disproved.

Leading the scrambling wolves up the stairs, he carefully waited to get the human up as well while petting the impatient hounds. "Come on, now! We need to get these cold lads in and warmed up! I'm sure Jynx'll love them, really. I can tell they already love her back..."

"She won't, she's not an idiot, she'll ignore them and I don't necessarily want them near her," he admitted with a sigh, gently keeping Jynx back and only letting her follow when the animals were up the stairs and into the apartment. "It's nothing against you, they're just... wolves. No matter what you say, I won't feel safe around them, it's hardly right to be, so Jynx won't be near them, that's that..."

"But they're docile!" He insisted, lip trembling wjth a pout. "T-They're harmless, and can be good guards if someone tries to hurt us."
