Helies giggled himself at Maverick's sudden frightened behavior. He was so brave all the time! Looking at Kyle, he was glad to see him smiling about something. He hadn't seen him happy in a while---a long while. He quickly introduced himself once Landion had got through talking and sat back down, waiting to hear more news.

Landion wasn't upset that Jody had told Gazdreveg about everything with Liana. Someone had to tell, right? He was although pretty down, having to think about it once again. He had promised his kids he'd come back with their mother. How would they take it if he came back alone? Shaking his head of such negative thoughts, he went back over to his seat beside Braun who had greeted Gazdreveg too. Things would work out.....right?

Gazdreveg looked around a bit, soaking in Jody's explanation. After a long silence, he finally spoke, "Hmmm. And that's the only option there is? No other way?"

Maverick got his bearings and stood up, walking over to Gazdreveg bravely, but still a bit nervous. "Yeah. Anything else would be futile."

"This Erebus man must be a lot more that any of us has handled before......Alright, I'll be joining, but do we even have the manpower? And when exactly will we be doing this?"

The leader explained the many skilled soldiers just outside the room, along with their fully equipped Weaponry ready for any battle. "We should be going ASAP, unfortunately, since the Empress is in this state. We need to start planning right now. This has to go perfect! If even just one thing goes wrong, we'll be screwed!"

Kyle completely got serious in seconds, and was so caught up in typing the best coordinates for where they were headed, he almost missed Jody's call to get ready in ten minutes because they were all moving out in speed and stealth.~ Soon enough he had the complex codes typed on the data-pad, and everyone disappeared in a flash only after making sure they were all armed to the teeth!

Maverick stayed behind to help the soldiers get ready, and to prepare the tanks and war machines to move forward to Eretiban!

Landion was glad they were doing this at night, even though it didn't effect him anymore. He always seemed to function better at night anyway. One of the perks of being a Vampire. Braun, however, had on a full body suit just in case they encountered any bright light. Apparently, Erebus' palace was filled with light, much to his dissapointment. This was going to be a secret infiltration and wipeout of the palace guards, and this dangerous task was left to only he, Braun, and Kyle. Landion took a deep breath before cutting the first guards throat. Like Maverick said, this had to be done right or else they'd face a bad ending. And Landion couldn't dare think of he and his wife getting killed, leaving their kids behind in the clutches of Erebus.

Erebus was quite appaled having seen Liana's state. "What have you fools done?! I said I wanted her ALIVE not half-dead you good-for-nothing idiots!!!" he yelled unsheathing his sword and killing all the scientists nearby on his own. Feels good to be killing again! I almost forgot what it was like...... The evil man stooped down and stroked Liana's face as he unhooked her from the Avion. "I'm so sorry, dear!....That should be enough energy this infernal crystal needs, for now. I'll let you rest here awhile......." he cooed and got up and left the room. For once, he had no idea what was happening just below him near the Palace gates and it wouldn't be a surprise either once he finds out. More like a challenge.

Helies helped Maverick arm the soldiers as he got himself heavily armed, too. He hoped that Kyle would be alright during the heist. He would never be happy again if something were to happen again, him being his only family left. Sipping on a high-tech bulletproof vest underneath his shirt, he looked up proudly, ready to fight. You will die today, Erebus! You will!

Liana couldn't hear Erebus or feel anything as the coma didn't let her go, even as she continued losing energy! Something was horribly wrong and it showed in her too-pale skin, the way her vitals almost didn't exist. How faint her heart-beat was getting.

Kyle on the other hand, was quite fine with killing every single soldier he saw. His face became a cold killer's mask, it was scary how fast it changed. From calm and casual, to someone completely unrecognizable, he didn't hesitate in destroying anyone that charged at himself, Landion or Braun. He wasn't a top ranked ex-soldier for nothing, and right now he was using every skill he had to push not only his body to the limit, but everything he had. He wanted Erebus dead as much as everyone else did.~

Kyle seemed to prefer a more quicker and deadly way of killing off the guards, but he and Braun chose to sneak attack the rest, killing them quietly so as not to alert the others nearby. There was so many! The more they killed, the more that seemed to pop up out of nowhere. Maverick was right! This man was powerful in strength and in number! "Kyle! Braun! Come on! If we can get these last few quickly, we'll be through!" he whispered to them sneaking over to the last group quietly.

"FORWARD! MARCH!" He yelled he yelled out to the extensive troops. They would march to Eretiban as a whole, then branch of into three troops once they reached battle in a specific way he had thought up, so Erebus' immense army would not overwhelm their comparisonly smaller army. Of course, as they got closer, he would call Kyle through his walkie to make sure Step One was finished successfully.

Kyle didn't seem to tire even as more soldiers appeared, but he did wish they had more back up! It'd be nice if Helies showed up right about now, he thought remembering how vicious he was in battle...and with this bad chip his brother now had on his shoulder, well, it should work out great. He was trying to be optimistic even in grim situations like this one.

Helies ran down the streets of Eretiban carefully and in the shadows trying to make it to the palace gates. He was going to stay behind with Maverick, but he had a feeling deep down in his gut that Landion, Braun, and his brother were going to need some extra help. He remembered how massive the Royal Guard was alone, and knew it was going to be pretty difficult for just 3 people to take them all out. Upon reaching the gates, he noticed that they had done quite a good job killing most of them off and figured he'd go ahead and take out the rest. In quick swipes of his sword, and swift shots with his silencer, it wasn't long before they were all dead, and he jumped in front of Kyle grinning and waving around one of the heads. "Needed help?" he joked.

"Oh hi bro. Yep, we appreciate all the back up we can get." Kyle said casually, just before a bullet went right through his chest area, and out his back, almost knocking him backwards! He ignored it however, and growled furiously.. "Marek Chii. You whip-wielding little fucker." He snarled, firing round after round at his troops! He lost count, but gradually, the soldiers -were- being herded into the palace, right where they wanted them! He didn't stop to think about how serious his wound could be, that would slow down the mission!

Helies smiled until his brother got shot right out of nowhere! Apparently, it was one of the wierdos that had tortured him, and, now, he was pissed beyond repair! "I don't what your name is, but you better BACK OFF!!!" he yelled, standing in front of Kyle.

Axel walked up behind Marek smiling weilding an oddly shaped gun. "Heh! The other brother, eh? Lemme guess, your teaming up with whats-his-name and his so-called 'Resistance'? Sneak attack? Well, you've just failed!" He spoke into his Datapad alerting Erebus in code before charging at Helies with a sword he had hidden at his side, and the swords made a sharp clash as they met. Axel smiled, "Not bad for a rookie."

Erebus only half-heard Axel's warning not too worried by 4 renegades. What could they do against his army? He yawned softly and turned over in his bed, not caring to look outside his window to see the commotion just below him.

Kyle was having a hard time breathing suddenly. Pain shot through his entire chest and back area as if he were catching on fire. He resisted the pain however, and took several deep breaths, realizing he had to take even, shorter breaths than he was used to. "Let's kill them both, together!" Kyle said, in a last burst of adrenaline that rushed through him, battling the urge to pass out and bleed on the ground. He'd hold off that horrible scene as long as he could. Instead, he settled for stepping beside Kyle and opening fire on both Axel Torch and Marek Chii, having a huge score to settle with both of them as much as Helies did!

"Soltian is back, you think? The little turd! It's a pity he wasn't as useful as I hoped he'd be," Erebus said softly to someone in his room, "Why don't you go downstairs just in case they manage to break in, eh? I doubt they will, but better to be safe than sorry.....You know the other two better than I do. You can handle them right, brother?"

"Y-ee-s....I.....c-caaan," Everest whispered out in a rather scratchy voice. He had changed a lot in appearance and looked rather...stomach-churning. Apparently, Erebus' attempts to revive him had only half worked, leaving his body a gorish, incomplete mess. He was alive, though, and he couldn't ask for any more than just that, walking slowly out of the room to get a friend of his.

Erebus made a face at the trail of slimly liquids his "brother" had left behind and quickly called for the maids to come clean it up. He was still quite proud of the new-Everest, though. Just as happy and determined to keep his little brother alive as Helies.

Helies lunged back at Axel as best he could, dodging the Vampire's attacks, and trying to corner him at least. It was hard, though. This man obviously was experienced and hard to beat alone. Looking back at Landion, he could see him pulling back his hand and throwing a dagger from atop the fence, slashing Axel in the leg and stabbing Marek in the throat. The man fell to his knees instantly leaving Axel shell-shocked and Helies amused. "Ready to give up?!" he yelled as he stabbed Axel while he wasn't looking, bringing him down, too.

Maverick gasped as he got a message from Braun that they needed back-up and fast. Reacting quickly, he got the troops to move forward and into Eretiban. It wasn't going to be a pretty war, but it had to be done. "Jody! Move ahead of us and join Helies and them! They need help! I'll keep the troops in check!"

"On my way!" Jody cried, kissing Maverick for good luck, and in case she never saw him again, she went to Eretiban on her own, armed heavily and opening fire on Marek Chii himself, sending him dead to the ground, followed by a few more soldier-scums by turning their own weapons against them! She couldn't help but kill hundreds more, dropping their numbers quickly, and scaring the rest into behaving as she along with Kyle, began herding them inside the palace. So far, so good! Except Kyle looked like he was going to drop at any moment... she really hoped he didn't.

Landion took a step back upon entering the palace. A very disgusting creature stood before them in the hall, not really saying anything or moving. Although, for some reason, he looked a bit familiar......

"YUCK! What the crap is that thing?!" Braun said, covering his mouth. He noticed, as well, that the thing looked familiar, but was too creeped out to keep looking at it.

Helies stepped forward holding his gun in front of him at the creature. He didn't know whether or not to shoot, beacause it wasn't really doing anything. And even more perplexing, no one could be seen or heard in the Palace! "W-What are you?! Who are you?! And what do you want?"

Everest breathed heavily a bit before attempting to speak, "D-dooo-n't........sh-ooot.....meee. Myyy.....bro..theeeer...is.....i-i-inn..o..ceeeent!" He had no weapons on him, unable to hold one anyway. He wasn't planning on attacking these people, it's not like he could even if he tried. He just stood in his spot and didn't move. Moving was much too tiring.

Kyle was shocked, but held his fire, though reluctantly, since it was the only thing that prevented him from passing out. Jody helped him by using part of her shoulder to keep him half-supported. He nodded his thanks. "You don't strike me as all that innocent weird guy! What are you hiding?" He demanded, trying to see past his figure. Something was definitely wrong here. He knew they'd almost gotten this far too easily. Even with his injury.

It was grudgingly going to speak again in response to Kyle, but stopped as Landion figured out exactly what it was. "W-Wait! I know that voice! Everest?!"

Braun looked back at the thing again, his mouth flying open as the realization hit him, too. "DUDE!! That guy is supposed to be dead!!!! What's he doin alive?!?! And what happened to him?!?!"

All went quiet as a large thumping sound came from behind Everest in the hall. They all pulled out their weapons realizing Kyle was right and that something was wrong! A large android holding a very large machine gun appeared slowly beside Everest. It looked deadly and provoking, and this one could actually speak clearly. "SURRENDER TO EREBUS. NOW. ANY SCRATCH ON EVEREST AND DEATH SHALL COME UPON YOU," it said monotonously in a voice rather familiar. It didn't take long for Landion to figure it out this time, and called it out immediately.

"D-Delthar?!?!"

Blah blah Surrender, blah.. don't hurt Erevest... Blah.. Jody was getting irritated with the whole conversation. Sorry, scrapheap, but surrender was NOT part of her or anyone else's plan. She focused long and hard on Delthar, staring directly into the robot's eyes, ignoring Everest completely, she concentrated on helping Kyle fill the guy with bullet holes, aiming right for the eyes and any wiring that was exposed! Any weakness.. the guy had to have one! She thought, but it didn't seem to matter what they all did... he was still left standing! "Ah crap." She muttered, figuring they were probably doomed.

As Everest creeped away slowly leaving behind his slime trail, Delthar watched as the bullets bounced off his thick plating covering the floor. "ANY ATTEMPT OF ATTACK IS FUTILE. SURRENDER, NOW."

This guy was invincible and had no interest in his old foes at all. Landion was confused more than anything. Everyone had changed so......wierdly! He remembered Delthar being a Demon and now part-android wondering what else Erebus could do. This was just a small fight compared to their real enemy, and even though he was scared out of his skin, he elt more determined than ever to bring him down. "DELTHAR! What's going on?! Where is Erebus and Liana?!"

The Demon-Android looked at Landion slowly and replied, "THAT IS NOT OF YOUR CONCERN. SURRENDER."

Landion walked up to Delthar slowly and yelled, "AI MATA VE' WIISE ATERA!!!!!"

Meanwhile, the Resistance was doing quite a job of keeping the soldiers at bay even though they were outnumbered. The soldiers kept coming at them, but Maverick pressed on trying to keep the men from giving up and hoping that his allies were still alive inside the Palace.

Kyle was -barely- alive, but he recognized what Landion was trying to do, and frowned. "We have to get to Liana and Erebus. Now." He whispered to Jody and Helies. He instantly began backing out of the area, and running full speed towards the direction of the Avion Crystal. Somehow, he knew instinctively that Liana would be there. He just hoped he'd find her alive...

Braun ran behind Kyle, Helies, and Jody seeing that Landion now had Delthar right where he wanted him. He hoped his friend would be alright and, in the meantime, looked around for Liana for him. Opening the door to the lab he yelled to the other three to follow, running down the white halls and feeling the energy of the Crystal, the closer they came. All Braun could do was stare when he saw how big the Avion was, now. Everyone said it was small and useless compared to the Zialon! It hummed as they had entered the room, and he could see Liana lying helplessly underneath it. No longer hooked up to it, but unconsious and in a coma.

Landion kept chanting, focusing as best he could as a dim light began to shine underneath his plating. "YOU'RE JUST A DEMON, DELTHAR! NOTHING MORE!!!!" The Demon shrieked as its new body began to disintegrate around him revealing the mangled parts of what was left of his Demon body. He opened his mouth to speak, but shut it as he disappeared into nothing, joining his fellow beings where they belonged. Landion ran to find his comrades, hoping that they had found his wife. None of them were safe, not while Erebus was still around.

Jody looked at the fallen Empress with a crushed heart. She talked quietly into her data pad. "Found Liana, Maverick, but she looks half dead....going to kill Erebus now." She said, looking over at Helies and dragging him with her, explaining his brother needed to rest and they had business to finish with Erebus. She didn't want to stop now that they were so close to finishing this! Kyle on the other hand waved Helies and Jody off as he tried to make Liana at least more comfortable while she seemed to leave them, right before their eyes. He'd guard her anyway, in case Erebus tried to get in here.~
