While walking out of the warehouse and down the corridor, Earth slowly woke up from her slumber. Her sight was blurry and she still felt very delirious. She looked at her wound, which was almost healed, much to her shock.

"Ugh..." Earth spoke, and noticed the dragon wrapped around her, "what happened while I was knocked out? And how is my wound already healed?"

Saturn instantly spun around and went by to her side, before hugging her out of relief. "I though you were gone! Also, we didn't do much other than stealing a few weapons and all. By the way I got you an arm cannon while we were at it."

Earth took the cannon and equip it onto her arm. It was a lot heavier than her original gauntlet, but judging by the quality, it seemed to be much stronger.

"Thanks," Earth said, while examining her new weapon. "Now we need to go their network room. This is so that we can disable their communication systems so they cannot track us."

The dragon uncoiled from her body and disappeared into the summoning circle, it's job done. Dragon crouched down to be on the same level as Earth. "I put some herb on your wound. You might want to clean it after though, I had to chew on them," she murmured, her face glowing red. She moved out of the way as Saturn moved to hug her. She smiled, cute. The two of them reminded her of a lot of things, but she shook her head; now wasn't the time to think about it.

Dragon raised her eyebrows, "They need technology to track us? Why don't they just..." she pointed to her nose, "...use their noses?"

Earth instantly ripped off the herbs that Dragon wrapped around her arm after hearing what she did to it. She was slightly disgusted by the fact it was technically Dragon's saliva wrapped on her wound. "Ew...Thanks anyway though." She said and threw away the cloth.

She stretched a little, before laughing at Dragon's suggestion. "Well not everyone has super-smelling abilities." Earth started explaining as they walking towards the direction of the network room. "Also, the technology makes it easier to track, as sometimes smelling a person's scent is rather...unreliable."

They were nearing the network room, before realising the door was heavily guarded by Morphas. They were all well-armed and armoured. The Morphas seemed to be even more powerful than before.

"Great what now?" Saturn replied, hiding behind a wall, " There's no way we'll go in by stealth. I bet those are harder to trick."
"Then we'll go in!" Earth charged up her beam with her new cannon, before firing a series of bullet at the guards.

Dragon frowned as she tossed the herbs away, looking at the sad green glob lying on the floor. "Well, there goes my herbs," she murmured, feeling like crying. She looked at Earth confusedly, "But everyone has their own scent. I can smell someone from a mile away," she said, again pointing at her nose. It was one of the most useful senses; smell. She relied on it a lot, more than she would admit.

As they neared the network room, Dragon spotted several Morphas acting as guards. The problem was, they were guarding the door they needed to enter. Saturn said something about not being able to trick them before Earth attacked them. The bullets she fired sunk into the alien's gooey mass body before they ran towards them, raising their fists. The aliens threw small blobs from their bodies at the group, without thinking, Dragon stepped forward and opened her wings, shielding the team from these small steaming blobs. She watched as they slid down the steel scaled wings. However, Dragon felt a stinging on the outside of her wings. When she pulled them back she noticed a long black scorch mark starting from where the blobs landed. She rubbed the scorch mark and almost screamed at the pain when she touched it. The steaming blobs that were now moving towards them by sliding on the ground opened their tiny mouths and began to spit out searing hot liquid at them.

"Oh what are these things?!" Earth yelled as she saw the small hot blobs multiplying in numbers.

The red blobs started to assemble themselves together, with the group awing at what was happening in their eyes. What kind of creature is this? When the blobs finally assembled themselves into a gigantic blob of a lava-like monster, it let out a mighty roar. The sound shockwave was enough to sent the group flying into the wall.

"Oof!" Uranus grunted when he hit the wall with his backside, before taking out his newly-acquired sword. "I suppose we have to use ice-based moves!"

"Ice? Do you even know how to use the basic elements? Ice will melt one metre away from that thing!" Dragon snarled. The lava-like monster threw blobs that it was made out of at the group. Dragon raised her staff and a small wave emerged from the floor and swept down the hallway. The small blobs emitted a tiny, almost adorable scream before it solidified. The lava monster avoided the wave by sliding up onto a wall and charging towards them

"You don't get it," Uranus replied, as he dodged each punch thrown by the the monster, "Fire-based monsters here have a crippling weakness to cold, as they thrive off heat inside their bodies. Ice made from magic and stuff are often much colder than normal ice. Water will just evaporate on such a fire-based monster."

To prove his point, He swung his sword, sending a huge wave of icicles at the red giant's arm, effectively freezing it. He yelled out to Earth to shoot his arm off with her cannon blast, which Earth promptly did.
"Hyper BEAM!" Earth shouted as she fired her beam towards the frozen arm of the monster. It shattered, but not for long, as it grew back again thanks to the small blobs scattered around the place.
"How are we gonna kill this thing if its limbs are like a lizard's tail?" Saturn yelled.
"We could try and freeze the whole thing..." Earth responded, almost getting caught by the monster while talking.
"It's gonna take us ages!" Uranus yelled, as he continually swung his sword, sending out waves after waves of ice at the monster. "Can we try and destroy the source of the small blobs?"

Dragon mumbled to herself. "This universe is messed up. Even magically created ice melts when it touches lava." She watched as her knowledge of the elements flew out the window as they froze lava itself. The arm was shattered thanks to Earth's beam but the arm regrew by using the stray small blobs to create new limbs. Dragon gathered up her energy and pulled a large white arrow from a summoning circle she opened behind her. She shouted for everyone to move out of the way, "White Plum Arrow!" She threw it forward like a javelin, white dragons trailed behind the flying spear as it impaled into the two guards and the lava monster and sending them flying back, pinning them into the opposite wall. The small blobs instantly jumped after the trapped aliens. The arrow started smoking, a purple smoke drifting out of the wound. Dragon sighed, "Well, find their weak spot now that they're trapped there for a while."

(sorry bro, being sick sucks)

Earth fired her beam at the monster again and again. She looked around, trying to find the sources of the small blobs.

"The problem about regenerating monsters is that even if you find their weak spot, it'll just grow back." Earth replied back at Dragon. Then, Earth noticed, from the corner of her eye, a small red mound stuck onto the top of the wall. It was pumping out the small blobs like a how a heart pumps out blood. It didn't seem to have any offensive or defensive abilities though...

"Dragon!" Earth yelled again, before pointing at the weird jelly-like creature. "Destroy that mound of crap stuck onto that wall! We'll handle the big one! "

Dragon looked up at the mound and cocked her head, it looked quite disgusting and her breakfast turned inside her stomach. She wasted no time firing a blast of fire at the thing and watching it burst into flames. She walked to the aliens that she trapped and pulled the arrow out, purple smoke wrapped around the group of impaled liens and their screeches could be heard as Dragon walked away calmly and smiling as if the scene behind her was nonexistent.

"Okay!" Earth yelled again after Dragon destroyed the mound. "We should be able to kill the Lava monster now!"

Uranus reacted quickly by swinging his sword in fast repetition, aiming for every limb the monster had. Saturn and Earth destroyed each frozen limb stuck onto the floor. Finally, the monster's size was reduced to the size of a car, when before it was bigger than a double-decker bus. Ultimately, his body part containing all of his vital organs was also frozen into a solid block, allowing Earth to fire a perfect beam into the stunned monster. The monster shattered, sending bits of his organs around the room and onto the group.

"Ughh..." Saturn groaned as he got sprayed with the dead monster's insides. "Now that freak of science is out of the way, we can enter the room."

They walked into the network room. Wires covered the entire area of the room. Some parts were clearly not in the best condition, as sparks were emitted from certain copper-based wires. The group carefully tread along the room, making sure not to touch the high-voltage strings circling around the room. They only need to find the controls for the ship's entire communication system. Easy enough...right?

Dragon stood to the side and watched the trio finish off the lava monster. She felt a bit left out but decided not to say anything. As the monster froze into a block, it was shattered by Earth's beam. Dragon deflected the organs flying around with a little bit of air magic, twirling her staff around her body to blow off the flesh. Walking into the network room with her teammates, she scanned the area. Everything inside was just like Horse's room. Technology everywhere. Beeping machines and flashing lights, red and blue wires running all over the place. She silently followed the group inside and made sure she stepped in between the wires snaking along the floor. She could hear a light buzzing sound - like an electric current. Straining her ears, Dragon could hear a few chattery Morphas deeper inside the room.

"Is that it?" Saturn whispered, pointing to a panel sticking out from a wall. The panel seemed to have more intricate than the one controlled the sky shield. Earth peered to see the panel herself.

"I wonder how we are going to hack into the system." Earth muttered back, "This piece of technology seems to be something beyond our control. Let's just smash it!"

Without thinking about the consequences, Earth fires her beam into the panel, completely shattering the hunk of metal. Although it did disable the communication system, the entire ship went pitch black because of it. Thundering footsteps emerged. The group had angered the Morphas.

"Thanks Earth!" Saturn yelled in frustration. "Way to blow our cover and escape!"
"Well there wasn't any other choices, the technology is far to complicated for us to hack!" Earth replied back.
"Oh will you two lovebirds stop arguing and actually focus on getting out of here?" Uranus dashed into the pack of Morphas, trying his best to kill as many as he could.

Dragon yelped and jumped back as Earth fire her laser at the panel. She had been examining it and didn't notice Earth charging her laser until she stated tat she was going to 'smash it'. The room went pitch black, with red alarm flashes every now and then. From the inner depths of the ship came an eerie beeping noise - loud and high pitched. Footsteps were heard all around the ship, banging against the alien metal that created the Mothership. The Morphas hiding in the back of the room stepped forward and cracked their knuckles, they were barely illuminated due to the blackness. Their body smelt like booze, which made Dragon recoil. Well, now she knew why they ignored them when the first walked in. Dragon ran forward with Uranus and smashed her staff right into one of the Morphas's face, twisting it when it impacted his gooey nose.

The number of Morphas charging towards the group seemed endless. Each Morpha that fell shrieked in pain before evaporating into thin air. However, as they dwindled their numbers, a stench grew. It turned out these Morphas, when killed, emit a type of foreign gas that had the smell of rotten food.

"Jesus," Uranus groaned, as he tried to blow away the smell with his airbending, "The whole room stinks like shit!"
"I don't feel so good..." Earth clutched onto her stomach, trying to hold in her sick. At that point, she slowing passed out again, but this time it wasn't because of fatigue...

Dragon clamped a hand over her nose from the strange gas that had the most vile stench she'd ever inhaled before. She tried creating a bubble of air around her to preserve some oxygen for her to breathe but she couldn't, no matter how hard she tried. She could feel her eyes drooping, her eyelids growing heavier by the second. "Ugh," she mumbled before collapsing onto her knees. The gas was either some sort of alien sleeping gas or an energy depletion gas. Either way, her legs crumpled beneath her, no longer able to support her body.

Saturn drifted in and out of consciousness. The smell was just far too strong for him to even fight properly. His blurred sight made it hard for him to aim his magic at the Morphas. He wished the battle would end, but their numbers were still increasing at exponential rates.

"Uranus," Saturn croaked as he tried to get his thoughts together. "Do you have a plan for escape?"

Uranus was still healthy compared to Saturn and the girls, thanks to his air shield, but he still had his limits. As he fought, he tried to think of way to get themselves out of the room. He diverted his attention to a vent on top of the ceiling.

"We can get out through the vents!" Uranus finally shouted, before climbing up inside the steel vent.
"But how are we gonna carry the girls?" Saturn replied, shocked at Uranus' plan. "We can't crawl and drag their bodies inside the vents! It's too small!"
"Leave them here then!" Uranus remarked, clenching his fist, before taking out the map out of Earth's pocket "We'll rescue them later!"

Reluctantly, Saturn followed Uranus into the pipe. He looked out at the duo lying on the floor, before leaving.

********************

The same figure walked into the battered network room. It looked at the two unconscious girls, before smiling sinsterly.

"Take them hostage." The figure ordered. "Don't touch them either. The other two will come for them."

Dragon blinked her eyes open, looking at her surroundings. She saw nothing but darkness, with an occasional red light shining once in a while. She tried to reach out with her arms but realised they were tied onto something solid behind her. Straining her ears to see if she could hear anything, she heard the breathing of someone else - possibly Earth, who had also fainted. She could hear the mumblings of two alien guards, standing close by the sealed metal door. She tried to remember what happened, some sort of gas? Her head was still fuzzy but clearly than it was before, but it seemed like her powers were still nullified. She grunted as she pulled against her bindings, a stinging slap from her guards was the end result. Seeing no options, the only thing Dragon could do was to sit there calmly and quietly until the boys came and rescued her and Earth.

Uranus peered down at the vent and looked out for any Morphas. He took a deep breath, and blasted the cover of the vent down onto the floor. He flipped out of the small opening and landed quietly on the floor, before dusting himself with his palms. Saturn quickly followed.

"Any idea where we are mate?" Saturn whispered.
"Clearly we're somewhere near the edge of the mothership as we can see outside." Uranus opened the map. He hovered his index finger around and around, trying to pinpoint their current position. After about five minutes he managed to find where they were.

"Apparently we're here." Uranus replied, pointing his finger on the map. "In the middle of a corridor connecting their secondary warehouse and training area."

Saturn stroked his chin. How where they going to find the girls? Maybe risk it by barging into the cockpit without them?

****************************

Earth blinked her eyes at a slow pace, and half-heartedly looked around her surroundings. She obviously knew she was captured. Although she was slighting upset by the fact that the boys had ditched her, she understood it was a choice they had to make. They would've ended up here as well had they tried to carry them out of their situation.

She readjusted her position and leaned her back onto the wall. Drops of sweat dropped down her face like a waterfall. "Do they not bother ventaliating the rooms?" Earth complained.

Quiet but brisk footsteps echoed down to their cell. A torchlight filled their cell, making Earth flinch at it brightness. After regaining her sight, she looked at the metal door of her cell. There it was, the same figure they had encountered eariler. Earth glared furiously at the person, before opening her mouth in outrage.

"Who are you?" Earth clentched her teeth and fists, "Why do you want to take over Mistoreria?"

Dragon lifted her head at the voice of the other female. "No, I guess they just want us to suffer." She pushed against her bindings as she tried to readjust her position. She was covered in a film of sweat and grime, her hair plastered to her face. "If the gas wasn't still in my system, I could use a little air magic." She dropped her head again, trying to focus on breathing rather than talk to Earth - even though she was pretty glad she was alive and well, for a tied-up prisoner.

She craned her neck to see the source of the footsteps approaching the two girls. She squinted her eyes at the sudden bright light, trying to see the person or alien holding the torch. She had expected some type of giant version of the black goo aliens but to her surprise it was a human female. "W-what?" she said unintelligibly.

-------------------

The woman flicked her hair back to examine her prisoners. She glared at the woman who spoke, eyeing her with an evil glint in her eyes. "My name is Sedna," she said simply, as if it solved all of her questions. She contemplated about answering her second question, but they were both - including the boys - going to die anyway, what could possibly go wrong? "Let's just say I am one of a dying race. Forced to live underground for millennia. I'm going to take back what belongs to me, but to do that I need the electrical energy of this city." She wagged a finger at the girls tauntingly. "Once your friends arrive, all of you will die. Don't worry, your magical energy will help me with my quest."

She smiled to herself. She was a Mespho. A colossal monster that was one of the most powerful alien races. But because of this her planet was targeted relentlessly by humans and rival lower alien races and they had no choice but to escape and restart underground. Why did she want to take over Mistoreria? To revive her former body and glory. Right now she was just a mere projection - a realistic one. She needed all the energy she could get to power up the machine that held her body, which was now hibernating in the form of an egg. Mistoreria was well known for it's development, it was her first target from the beginning.
