I know! I was thinking about making a female character just to try and balance it out. But it's alright :P
 
Can't wait to start! I initially had trepidations about playing a Templar other than Morven, but now I'm pysched about Daínn!
 
Dainn does sound like a fun guy, who I'm certain will get along with everyone.

I don't know sarcasm what are you talking about. I do like him though xD

Also, I just realized I didn't include a last name. Would an adoptive child take the last name of the person caring for them?
 
Typically speaking they do, unless they have problems with the adoptive family

Huh. Unless I'm misunderstanding something, it looks like only nobles and the like have last names, and commoners in Ferelden just use the name of their home in place of a surname.
 
I liked the idea of somebody creating an additional female character so it's not as much of a sausagefest, imho.

Aren't males and females technically equal in Ferelden? Yeah, sure, the Qunari have a gender dichotomy thing (as well as some nasty repression of magic and a badass warrior culture), but other than that.
 
I think so, yeah. I haven't played in a while though.

Updated. Neviha is there to balance things out. I don't think I mentioned this before, but like any of my other games, romance is definitely allowed. The only restrictions we have are some +18 material. If you can't just assume it happens and you want to play it out, please take it to PM or one of the mature chat boxes <3

nope, we are all one group this time. :) There is certainly chance for us getting split up and rejoinging later. Though we will have to appoint a team leader...

We should vote on that when the time comes.
 
Why do we have to appoint a Team Leader?
Also, in your post it currently says that we're being divided - or maybe I misread it?
 
Oh! Derp! It shouldn't say that! Let me go edit. Thanks for catching it.

I just thought the idea of having a team leader and the option of added drama from that decision would be fun. Though, it's not necessary :)

edit: "New members, willing and not, are briefed on the current Darkspawn situation, as well as any required news in camp, before being assigned a group and sent out on their first missions." That is meant that there are more groups than just us. we as an RP group- are not being separated.
 
Ahh okay I accidentally misread I think, yay one whole group. I personally think that the election of a leader ingame would be pretty interesting. ^^
 
I suppose it would be just like how Morven stepped up and Ox became leader of their respected groups. :)
 
I'd expect the templars to take charge, just to say. They just seem the type to me.
