America jumped at the scream, knowing it anywhere. "Luna!" She yelled as the wolf bolted out of the cave and ran as fast as she could, following unsaid orders. America got to the edge as fast as she could, not worrying about her clothes, and ran through the woods. "Adiv?!" She yelled before a hint of white hair caught her attention. She quickly followed Luna to it and yanked the dart out of his shoulder. She carefully picked him up, hoisting him over her shoulders as her brother had shown her how he did when he was in the army. She carefully carried him back to the cave and laid him down near the smoldering fire.

Adiv was pale and unconscious. The dart had less than a drop of a mysterious fluid in it.
As America picked him up, she was silently followed by a young man dressed in camoflauge.
After a few minutes, Adiv started to wake, whining softly because his shoulder hurt.

America quickly ran over and opened a bottle of water. "Shhh it's okay sweetheart...here drink this," she whispered softly as she filled the cap up with water and held it to his lips, tilting it slightly.

Adiv drank the water, his eyes lazily blinking open. Despite looking calm outside, he was panicking. He knew he'd been hit with a tranquilizer, it had happened before, but that meant he was being hunted, and they were in danger. Why wouldn't these effects wear off faster?! He needed to warn America, but he couldn't speak too well yet. "Anjoo.." He muttered, attempting to say danger.

America tilted her head as he gave him some more water. "Shh...relax Adiv. Movement isn't healthy for you right now," she said softly as she found an extra tshirt of hers and wrapped his shoulder up carefully.

Adiv whined. How could he warn her? He huffed softly, then went silent. He could hear them... Just outside the waterfall. America was in danger! "Hide..." He managed to whisper hoarsely. All his movements were sluggish.

America barely made out the word and shook her head. "Not without you," she said before thinking. "They're obviously after you," she pointed out before looking at Luna who seemed anxious to attack someone. "Luna, it's too dangerous," she said though her words went unnoticed by the wolf. Luna ran out with snapping jaws and teeth barred.

The man outside jumped up, starting to climb the rock face. When he got to a small ledge, he pulled out his gun. It had another dart in it. He started to look for Luna.

Adiv was starting to regain control of himself. "He... Bad... Killed... Hide!" Adiv insisted.

"Luna get in here NOW!" Aviana shouted angrily as se wTched the entrance of the cave. After awhile of what seemed to be Luna's hesitation, the wolf came back in whining softly. "Adiv I'm not going anywhere. I just need a stick," she said as she looked around, finally finding one that would work. She searched in her bag and found some string before stringing it as if making a bow. She began looking in her bag once more, finding a couple makeshift arrows she always kept with her. Pulling them out, she aimed one at the entrance, waiting for someone to come in.

Adiv took a deep breath, trying to clear his vision. "No come in." He told her quietly. "Wait." He rubbed his eye, trying to tell America that the man wouldn't come in, but would wait for them.

America narrowed her eyes as she stood up. "Stay here I'll be right back," she said softly as she slowly as silently made her way to the entrance of the cave. She took a small step out and looked around carefully, turning slightly and looking on the face of the rock. She noticed a man on the ledge and got the hint before taking aim and firing her arrow.

"No!" Adiv yelled. The man turned, dropping as he saw her to try and avoid her arrow. He wore a mask to hide his face.

Adiv growled, trying to stand. He stumbled, falling into what was left of the fire. He screamed, rolling over.

America quickly pulled a knife from her shoe and braced herself as she narrowed her eyes. Meanwhile, Luna ran over to Adiv and carefully nudged him out of the ashes as she gently nuzzled him, trying to comfort him. America heard the scream but refused to let this man get to her friend. No. Matter. What.

Adiv shoved Luna away. "Mer...ca!" He said, stumbling towards the entrance.

The man paused. "He can talk...?"

Adiv reached the entrance. "America..." He swayed unsteadily.

"Catch him!" The man pointed, dropping his dart gun. "He'll fall into the water!"

America swiftly turned around and listened to the man's words as she stared at Adiv. Water? She went wide-eyed and quicjly pushed Adiv into the water, jumping in after gun as she used all her strength to keep them both underneath so they could hide. She heard a third splash and looked up, making out Luna's black form following behind.

Adiv's eyes shut the moment he hit the water. He started to sink, unable to swim yet. When his head breached the surface, he blinked, coughing up water. He looked at America, then up. The man was watchingz he could see the man's eyes glaring, but the man stayed where he was.

America finally resurfaced as she held onto Adiv, staring at the man intensely. Why doesn't he like water? Luna found her way to the shore on the opposite side of the lake as se shook the water out and stared at the man, snarling and growling.

The man looked at the cave, then ran into it.
Adiv continued to cough up some water, groaning.

America ignored it and helped Adiv get to the shore. She laid him on the shore and climbed out, not caring about anything but getting him safe. She picked him up and hoisted him over her shoulders as she carried him through the woods, Luna following close behind.
