Lance hoisted Terra over his shoulder, a little barbaric, but it was the only way he could really carry her down the ladder than led to the ground below the cell. The whole time he was preying that the Droids hadn't set a trap for them, that would be the worst. Once he set foot on solid ground he shifted Terra to his arms and held her close in front of his own body. It was strange how they kept getting in these situations, for a moment Lance thought that maybe t was her. Maybe she drew in this kind of stuff, unknowingly, but he quickly dismissed the idea. She was perfect, and even if it was her, Lance wouldn't have traded her company for anyone else in the whole universe.

"You alright there, Ter?" he asked looking around in the darkness below the cell. He couldn't see a damn thing! If they were going to get out of her alive, Lance was going to need Terras help. He just hopped she was feeling up to it. Underneath her clothes, Lance could feel wet blood seeping out from her fresh wounds.

Terra reluctantly woke up from her dangerous slumber, her eyes blurry, but her directional sense still amazingly in charge. "Up ahead..captain. There's an opening that's just high up enough where you'll have to push me through to the docks first, then I can haul you up." Even, if she died trying. She wouldn't go down failing one single mission if she could possibly help that. Now if only she could stop getting injured so often she might make it up to the station alright enough to survive another night. And yes, she was avoiding Lance's question of "Are you alright?" Truthfully she didn't think so, but she wasn't in a position where she could worry about that right now. All that mattered was getting the hell off this beserkoid planet. She had her own sinking suspicion along Lance's previous one- was she attracting all these bad events? Why did each planet they go to seem to bring a lot more trouble than it was worth to even investigate?

Lance Ran in the direction Terra showed him. He wasn't even aware of his own injuries at the moment. Step after brutal step Lance ran, and just when it seemed like there was no end in sight, he spotted a small opening. He was sure that was it, it had to be. If it wasn't, the Captain was worried that he may not be able to make it much further. Lucky for them both, it was. Lance did as Terra suggested and pushed her through first. He hoped she would have enough strength to help him up as well.

Strangely, Terra managed to haul Lance out of the hole and rush both of them back on board their ship, literally taking over the pilot controls until they were docked inside their station safely. Only then did she manage to unbuckle herself and help Lance out of that small ship. "Now what should we do?" She asked, leaning against a wall, looking as bad off as Lance did. She was trying her best not to fall asleep, because every time she did, she just didn't want to wake up. She was disappointed however, in how hostile every planet seemed to be getting. Were they doing something wrong? Or were they just visiting the wrong planets??

Lance took the first breath he was able to take in peace since they were in the cave. It had been warm ad inviting there, but had been ripped away so quick that he didn't have time to enjoy it. Once Terra showed how strong she really was and took control of the ship, lance was able to lean back and rest, even if it was only for a few seconds. He needed rest and there was no doubt about that, but his stomach sad it was time to eat. Either way, eat or sleep, Lance knew they would soon be back in their room and once again safe from danger.

""Now what should we do?"

"I need to rest" Said Lance getting off the ship and helping Terra as he did so. " I'm a little hungry too, I'm going to grab something to take back up to the room with us"

Terra nodded. "That sounds good.. I'm going to bathe and ..take care of these injuries." She went to do just that, then went right back to the ships control chair, as if she intended to stay there all night. If she went upstairs she'd be too tempted to sleep. She probably needed a doctor but she knew something about concussions at least- if you didn't strain them too badly you were fine in a week or so. Besides, it felt better just watching the stars go by, without any traffic that might endanger them, things were a lot more peaceful in space. She'd be okay not seeing another planet for at least a few days.

Lance, seeing that Terra was doing ok, headed to the kitchen. First he was going to get some food up t their room, then he would come back for Terra. Lance realized that he hadn't eaten since yesterday. He hated the fact that he was too busy to eat, he always felt weak when he did that, but sometimes it was unavoidable. He rounded the corner and headed straight to the freezer section, he knew exactly what he wanted. Earlier when he was in there he saw some frizzed Roast beef that was cut in thin thin slices. It would cook up really quick in just a little olive oil. He took it out and got some oil and heated up the pan. He also found a little garlic, that would go perfect with the tender roast beef. He quickly fried it up and found a nice loaf of french bread to go with it. He sliced and toasted the bread, then got some american cheese to melt on the beef. When he was done he wrapped the sandwiches in some butcher paper and went to get Terra. He Carried her back into the room.

After he set her on the couch and got her a blanket he unwrapped the sandwich and took a juicy bite, the juice from the delicious meat ran down his chin only to be caught by a napkin.

He realized, in his haste, he had forgotten to ask if Terra wanted a sandwich.

"Would you like one Terra?"

"No thanks Lance... I just don't feel very hungry." She admitted yawning and falling right back asleep. It was easier to see where her head was bleeding in the back now that she had a chance to lie down. Terra didn't seem to have much luck with encountering any sort of species lately. It seemed she needed to be watched a lot closer than most, even though she'd be pissed off if anyone said that to her directly.

Lance ate both the sandwiches with no problem. He devoured the first, then without a pause he took the other one out. the roast beef was so good, it really hit the spot. Full and satisfied Lance leaned back in his chair. Before he knew it he was fast asleep. HE was so tired that he didn't have any dreams, or at least none that he remembered. When he awoke, he had a light coat of droll on his chin and his forehead ached from the blow he had taken from the Droid. One thing was for certain, they would have to go to a Doctor, and lucky for Lance he knew a Doctor on a near by Planet.

She didn't even wake up once to ask where their next destination was. On her behalf, she personally didn't care if they just drifted in space for about a week or so, but then again, Lance had to be about as badly damaged as she was for a change, since the 'droids attacked him pretty badly as well. She stayed unconscious most of that day, not even waking up once for a drink, or anything. That was very unusual for Terra, who happened to be a restless sleeper by nature.

Lance woke up early, as usual. He ran down to the kitchen and brewed a pot of coffee. He knew he would need it for the day to come, hopefully it would be an uneventful day for once. once the coffee was done lance poured himself a cup, Black, it was more hardcore like that. Then he got one for Terra with extra Hazlenut cream and sugar. Then he went back up to the room and set the hot coffee next to his sleeping Navigator.

The planet they were going to was called "Restoria" and as its name hinted towards, it was a know spot for those in need of rest and relaxation. It had a full staff of Doctors and nurses as well as a full service spa. The over all land scape was a tropical paradise, with the weather being nice almost all the time due to its distance from the sun. It was a little humid for Lance, but everything else evened that out. Lance knew a Doctor there named "Russ Proctor" Doctor Proctor had taken Lance in on more than one occasion when he had been injured.

" Ok, Terra. We're going to Restoria. And Your going to Rest!, Got it" He added the last part in a playful manner. All he really wanted was for her to be well and happy.

"Oh, and heres your coffee too, just the way you like it" Lance paused, again realized how much like a married couple they were.

Terra stretched when she woke up to that great smell of hazelnut cream coffee. "Hahaha- Resting. Riiiiiiiight." She teased Lance right back, before taking her cup and thanking him for making such good coffee. She was always startled whenever she realized how in tune with each other the two of them were, but it was impossible to think of Lance and the romantic swing of things. There was just. . .no chemistry between them, and neither desired to have kids as far as she knew. She just didn't think it would be possible for her to even date. Not because Lance wasn't a desirable guy; she just didn't feel -pretty- or worthy enough yet. She'd come a long way in the area of confidence from being a former slave, but there was still a long way for her to work on. For now, she was skeptical at a peaceful planet.

The Planet was close. Only about an hours trip.

"Got those Coordinates, Ter" Asked Lance as he sipped his coffee.

Lance was still thinking of Terra. It was lonely in space, but any sexual feeling he had, he kept well in check. IF he ever thought of Terra in that way, he would soon forget it. It made him feel bad, as if he would be using her for sex as well as a Navigator. She was more than that to him, in a way he felt almost like he Loved her. Although he would like nothing more than to sleep with her every night, it just didn't seem right. Only time would tell, and for Lance pushing the matter would not help at all. He looked out the window and saw the lush green Planet come into view.

"Yes Lance." Terra got the coordinates all typed up as usual with her speed. She didn't leave out a single number. She showed him the coordinates first, taking another sip of coffee, then logging off her laptop as the station whirred once, gaining more power as it realized a destination. This was one powerful, yet quiet piece of machinery. She had to admire its smooth, silvery sleekness in spite of its massive size. She saw the planet, and blinked. For once, something that -didn't- look desolate or barren? Terra wasn't going to get her hopes up just yet however, even as she went to make sure the small ship had enough fuel to take them both there.

The little ship closed in on their destination, while Lance starred off into space....while looking out into space. He was in a dislocative state. He didn't feel like he was all there, almost like a dream. His vision was a blurred and he seemed to be clenching his jaw, kind of like the feeling you get from way to much coffee on an empty stomach. The captain held his hand out flat in front of his face, it was shaking like a windmill. He closed his eyes and leaned back against the wall, trying to get his breathing under contol, but it didn't work, Lance was a mess. The last few days had left him physically beat, mentally torn and emotionally raw. He felt as if he wanted to hide under the bed and cry. It was odd, in his entire life he had never been this drained. He was, without a doubt, in no condition to do anything but rest.

As they got to the dock, Lance shot a quick look at Terra and put on his best "Everything is ok" Face, but he doubt it worked, Terra knew him too well.

"Alright, Lets take her down to Dock one. Thats the dock that leads right to the Restoria spa." The captain finished and ran a tired hand through his hair, then added almost like an after thought " I really need the Rest."

They landed the ship and got out, Lance didn't even bother Taking anything with him, the only thing in the world he wanted to do was sleep, recharge and heal. They were greeted immediately by a doctor and two nurses. Lance, having no more strength, fell to the floor, exhausted.

Terra fretted over Lance, but they pointed out she should definitely not concern herself so much, he would get looked after very thoroughly. For that matter, they noticed right away she had a concussion pretty severe, while Lance was running on empty, battered like no tomorrow, and both should just rest. Terra was reluctant to even close her eyes, so they carried her conscious, on a stretcher to the emergency room right beside Lance. The two of them were immediately placed under gas masks, which she resisted quite effectively until those soothing words from the doctor came out: "Go to sleep girl. You've absolutely nothing to worry about on this- planet." Then everything else just went black. She didn't know how long she stayed out or what time it was the next instant she woke up. She was spooked and it showed.

Captain Lance Silver was more of less passed out, he barley noticed as he was lifer from the ground and put under a gas mask. Everything he saw in the next several minutes was in flashes, like a stop motion video. As the Gas did its job, soon he was asleep. There was no more pain, no worry, infect there was nothing at all, it was just black.

While he slept the doctors stitched up his head wound, 17 stitches in all. Before he woke up he had a dream, a very vivid dream. In it, He and Terra were living together in a small house on a beautiful planet. Out side was sunny and green, perfect. Almost like California of the 21 century, before it feel off into the ocean. Terra looked very beautiful, and in his dream they were married and had a little kid. It was a good dream.

When Lance woke up early the next day he still felt beat, but he was mentally rested so it wasn't as bad as it had been. He was in a bed by a window and outside it was sunny and green, just like in his dream.

Terra's dream started out oddly as nice as Lance's. In fact, in the dream that's who she was married to. . .with a beautiful little boy. But at the end of the dream, she was discovered for her power and killed ironically by another former master. She woke up, wiping tears from her eyes and glancing around her room, having been stitched up even double what Lance's had been; she felt pretty sore, but at least she could move around and not worry about bleeding to death. The bed was very comfortable. She wondered where Lance was however, and began to look for him.

Lance took about thirty minutes to actually get out of bed, normally he just jumped right out, but today he took the time to savor his waking moments. His dream had left a sweet taste in his mind, like the smell of freshly cut mint leaf. It was a great feeling. When he finally got out of bed he looked out the widow. There was a small pond with a waterfall right next to that a huge hot tub. Some of the other patients were out and enjoying the sun, others were simply staring off into space, a lot of the people here were more or less permanent residence. Lance, still in his hospital gown, found his clothes on. After he was dressed he thought about heading outside, but first he wanted to do something he hadn't had a chance to do for the last 24 hours, eat.

Terra got dressed before she went anywhere. A helpful nurse told her that Lance had headed off for the dining hall. So she followed the signs and headed there, keeping her eyes open for Lance. She used just a bit of her talent and traced his every step, almost meeting him at the cafeteria's huge double swinging doors. There was a maze of food courts here from every possible cuisine around the galaxy. Even Earthlings could be found here enjoying the atmosphere and good foods. She started feeling just a bit hopeful towards this planet. Surely it couldn't be so bad if the people not only saved her and Lance from possible harm, but created this opulent facility. Right?
