Lance turned to her, feeling his love for her more strongly than ever. It was hard sometimes, knowing that it would be difficult for them to ever truly settle down, but Lance was dedicated to do whatever it took. he kissed her deeply, and for a moment, every thing was beyond perfect. His wife in his arms he felt like a million bucks, at least. As often as he thought it it never got old, she was the perfect girl for him. He kissed her again, looking deep into her eyes.

"I Love you, Terra." Then with another quick kiss he turned to the controls.

"Looks like we're almost there." Already the beautiful planet was coming into view, its majestic landscape filling the windows of the ship.

Terra smiled at her new husband, glad to return the kiss. "Good. I'll get supplies ready." She offered, going to their room first to pack clothes, along with other necessities, plus food stores from the kitchen. Once ready, she handed Lance his bag, then shouldered her own. She made sure to check the planet's surroundings just in case they might encounter trouble even before they docked. No caution should be ignored in the case of space travel.

They exited the ship and immediately were greeted with the sweet smell of the lush greenery that occupied Beuatica. It was a fantastically equipped planet, it had every natural resource inn surplus as well as several small townships. There were hospitals, seasonal markets that sold everything from fresh seafood to nuts and berries. It was the perfect planet, at least In lances mind. As they walked into the port of one of the larger towns, Lance instantly spotted a resturant, but thought that they could wait. It felt like Lance was always eating, his mind very rarely strayed from food.

"So, Terra, do you want to look at some houses that are for sale? I was thinking something by the water."

Terra thought a place by the water or a lake sounded very pretty. She had an affinity for water, so it was more appropriate than Lance would realize until later. She could see them raising a child there, teaching him or her how to swim and be safe in water as well as on ground or in space. Surely the child would develop a curiosity for exploring just like their parents. If not they would work something out for whatever happened. Soon enough she was practically leading the way to a rather beautiful house, a pink and white brick two storied with a wrap-around black iron gate, almost concealing a large front yard with a swing bench, and well maintained grass, sprinkled with a few early-blooming rose bushes on the side. It was so pretty that she had a hard time believing her own eyes for several moments. "Can we live here...?" She asked Lance, quite determined already that even if he said no she wasn't going to budge an inch off that property!

The first house they saw Lance loved, and he thought Terra liked it too because the first thing she said was if they could live there?

"Sure we can." Said lance holding Terras hand tight, loving her with every ounce of himself. He wasn't sure how much it would cost, but he didn't care. If his wife wanted it she would get it. They walked uo to the entrance and were greeted by a short, balding man. He was obviously the realtor.

"Hello Hello!" He said revealing all of his teeth with a fake smile. The kind of smile that is common for salesmen to give to potential buyers.

They walked in the front door and Lance almost gasped. The floor was all hard wood, with accents against the walls that made the room look huge. There was a rich cherry wood crown molding around the ceiling that gave way to walls and Gigantic windows with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Past the entrance was the living room that was just as amazing. Lance lost track after this, his attention was immediately diverted to the Kitchen. It had a black and white tile floor that made it look like a fifties diner from the 1950s on earth. In the middle was the island, like most kitchens have, and on top was beautiful Italian marble. A huge silver refrigerator stood dominant against one of the walls. Lance was lost in thought at all the things he could fit in there.

"We'll take it!" Said Lance, needing to see no more "Whatever it is We'll take it!"

The Realtor quickly named the price of the house, which was easily within their budget range. Terra was happy enough to hug Lance tightly for agreeing to such a beautiful home. Within just a few hours, they settled in and unpacked their belongings. They would certainly need to buy furniture, maybe a few paintings or house plants. but it was a good beginning just by owning their first -real- home. not living in a ship or constantly being on the run. A normal human routine, what was that going to be like? She couldn't help but wonder if she could really get used to the idea. She did know she had to, however, for Lance's sake, and her developing child's sake. They needed this.

As soon as the realtor left, Lance unpacked the few things he had. One thing was for sure they would have to get some things for the house, decor and such. Lance thought he would leave that to Terra, it seemed like the kind of thing she could do much better than him. Lance quickly checked out the est of the rooms in the house. There were 4 downstairs, along with two bathrooms, and another 3 up stairs with a master bed room that had an indoor hot tub as well as a huge bathroom inside it. Lance went back downstairs and realized that he needed to buy food, they desperately needed to fill the huge fridge. As his mouth watered at the thought of all the delicious food he was going to buy, he stopped for a moment to look out the large window with the beautiful view located just outside their home.

Home, thought Lance. Finally he was home.

"Let's get groceries first. We'll probably have to buy those monthly." She said with a small grin. Everything was working out incredibly well so far. She wondered if it would last this way for a long time. She certainly hoped so. She handed Lance his own set of keys, keeping hers in her pocket. "Nearest grocery store is maybe 2 miles from here. We might want to invest in a car." She told him, poking him in the back just because she could. She was already loving this new spacious house.

A car and groceries. That sounded like a plan to Lance. They left and headed downtown to the main Plaza. The house was located the perfect distance from everything; The beach was a close as well as all the local shopping. Once they got Downtown, Lance spotted a car dealership. Luckily they had enough money to get anything for sale there. HE was a little over whelmed at the sheer number of cars for sale. There was everything; Convertibles, SUVs, Sadans, Trucks.

"Hmmm, what do you think we should get Terra?"

As soon as the words left his lips, a Charcoal colored Suv caught his eye http://www.imcdb.org/images/110/104.jpg. It was nice and spacious, but what really caught Lances eye was the fact it was armored and had bullet proof tires. Years of being on the run and hiding from the Red Fleet had left Lance a little paranoid. He approached the sales man and made the payment, which was a lot cheaper than he suspected.

They were now mobile.

Terra rather liked the strange, ugly vehicle. It wasn't shiny by any means, but it certainly got the job done. "I think we'll get things moving along nicely with this monstrosity." She teased him, leaning her head on his shoulder once they were at the grocery store, loading up two carts, very full with at least 2 months supply of food. As soon as they paid for the groceries, Terra was happy to get home and put everything away. Now the only thing really left to do was buy some nice furniture, and maybe a good entertainment system for the living room. She doubted they'd have any guests over, so it would always just be the two of them- which she liked. "Lance..... I have to admit it feels strange not being in any danger after so long of running." She told him, sneaking up and hugging him. "What kind of routine are we going to make?" She asked, a little lost.

Lance loved the vehicle. Sure it wasn't shiny and nice, but it had lots of room, four wheel drive, and was pretty fast too. After they got back home Lance helped with unloading the groceries. It seemed like they had enough to last a life time, but the way Lance ate he hardly thought this to be true. The freezer and the fridge were packed with goodies as well as the cupboards. It was perfect things were finally starting to come together. Lance had a strange feeling about something, and he was not at all surprised when his Navigator - his wife - put his feelings into words.

" A routine" The words sounded strange yet very comfortable to the aging space captain ' Well, I think we should just start living life, care free, and let a routine come to us." He ran his hand through his hair, he needed a haircut '' I guess we could take some classes or something....Its always good to learn." Lance Hugged Terra tightly. Whatever they ended up doing he knew one thing; He would be happy forever with her.

Terra hugged Lance tightly back, smiling. "Sounds good to me. Are you hungry? I could start lunch now that we have plenty to eat." She offered, untangling herself so she could clean the kitchen a bit and stay busy. She just didn't know how to stay idle for a long period of time. Keeping busy was the best way she dealt with any 'routine'.

"Yea, that sounds good to me." Said Lance licking his lips. Between the thought of a delicious lunch and Terra, his beautiful wife, he could not have been happier. He figured he would help her out, seeing as he wasn't doing much else at the moment. He got out some turkey that they bought and pulled out a knife, the gleam from the blade brought back memories that only a killer can recall, but those thoughts were quickly dismissed when he looked at Terra. Thank god for her.
