By all means, help yourself. I lay down things in environment that you'll be able to interact with (or, at least do my best), but if you actually do interact with it and how you go about it is entirely up to you. Also, you're free to add to the lore of Eidos any and all things awesome and not, but there will be a core history wrapped up deep inside that I'll reveal in concordance to the storyline.

Quasi-railroading to the max!

Just finished reading.......Still don't know where to start off......Hmm......I really don't know...Where and how could he fit in......I wonder.....GAH. My creativity faded away....

Weapon shop and the forge? Swords love the forge.

You can start off anywhere, really. Outside the gates? On the roofs? In the sewers? Ninjas be always up and at it on the roofs, yo.

I have no idea who that guy covering his face is with! Is he with the guards surrounding my character or with the outriders?

Well, he's supposed to be with the mercenaries... It seems I've mistaken outriders to mean mercenaries. ;_;

EDIT : I've corrected it a bit since I was in a bit of a groove yesterday. Sorry.

My brain automatically registered 'outriders' to mean 'mercenaries', despite them being two pretty different things.

Also have a class in 3 minutes gotta go, will be back a few hours later.

@Katzenbach

I have an interesting idea, Katz, why don't we add dice to the already implemented >>>(NPC does something here) thing you have going on if it's a fight, and if a person rolls a certain number+ it hits and if it's below that number it misses. I just found out we could roll dice in our posts, so I was thinking why not use it here?

An example would be like:

>>>(x monster) slips on ice and has it's defences dropped 75% roll 4+ to get successful hit

Player: Shoots arrow

>>>Player rolled dice for 2 - missed.

I'm real crap with examples, but you get the idea.

Goddamn, that is awesome. Why is this forum-dice not plastered on the billboards that adorn our majestic dark-city? Back to the question though, I do want to use that system, but I think I wanna keep this game a bit simpler for now. I'd have a lot of thoughts for mixing this baby up, such as presenting multiple choice paths (that eventually led to the simpler prompt system). In fact, it kinda showed up with the first one I used for Saint and Hess. The two prompt lines one after another look like choose-your-own-adventure pieces, don't they? Especially with the color difference, with a tinge of karma repercussion (should this have been Fallout) seemingly in play, despite there being nothing of the sort. It's there merely as a bit of suggestion, as a means to help the players and provide a bit of a puzzle at the same time, and isn't really necessary to abide by it. In fact, I think I could go as far to say that if anyone were ever to be presented with a fight, flight isn't not an option, but there would still be someone needed to take care of the giant house-eating pelican.

There will be repercussions and effects from taking a certain route, however, and I have been contemplating multiple endings already. Most of these effects would probably show through NPCs, however.

Excesmyr, in an out-of-character response to your post, I would like to inform that Gallan's Lycan inheritance isn't immediately obvious: his muscle structure resembles more a human's than a Lycan, his skin tone and hair are similar in a beige to brown array, respectively, and his teeth resemble a canine's more than a human's. Aside from those features, Gallan appears to be human. A wild-looking, abnormal human, mind, but most definitely not a full Lycan. I do not mean to impose you, but I would appreciate it if you could slightly modify your post in light of this detail, please and thank you.

oh yeah sure. That's my bad. Thanks for clarifying though.

DOUBLE POST, BISHES! RAAAAAH!

@Torack I'm wondering, so what happened to the band of sellswords employed by Tryver's father. Did they disband or what? Once he entered Monsha, and they were left to deal to the barong with their own devices. The base contract was that they'd escort him to the gates of Monsha and was then allowed free roam, free of the contract. Did
