The doors to the roof opened suddenly, as the young boy walked out. It was hard to fined it but he had managed. He walked to to an old rusty ladder on the guys side of the school and climbed up. This was the highest point in the school, and the best place to sunbath. Luci dropped his bag and slumped down with it. Now lying down, he closed his eyes. "this is still the best place in school" he smiled to himself

(Gonna take a flying leap! Never done one of these before.)

Name: Kalen Keegan
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Role in school: The go-between (Fits in with most crowds but doesn't really belong to any.)
Personality: Depends on who he's dealing with
Looks: Auburn hair, hazel eyes, pale skinned and tall

Kalen was staring out at the sky, half-leaned against the chainlink fence that surrounded the roof of the boys' school half. He exhaled a slow breath of smoke, and tapped the ash off his cigarette. Hopefully it would be just the one today- his father would have his backside if he knew his son was smoking. Being the son of a police officer was more annoyance than perk. Kalen knew that if he really got into trouble, his father wouldn't bend the rules or call in any favors to help. Even so, he still got treated in school like he was some sort of paragon, like he was supposed to be a goody two shoes. He'd smoked his first cigarette on a freshman year dare, and found out that he hadn't minded it at all.

Perhaps, in a way, the smoking was his dad's fault.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw someone step onto the roof, and lie down. The other guy seemed to want to sleep, so Kalen left him alone. He only changed his direction so that the smoke wouldn't bug the other guy.

The smell of smoke really annoyed him. But the guy kindly moved so it wouldn't really blow in his direction. So he didn't bother him about it. A lot of things were on his mind, but they soon all vanished when the sun peered out from behind the clouds. The rays of sunlight that hit him felt so warm on this skin, causing him to go into a kinda half sleep

Lori thought she could hear the sound of another door opening on the roof, mostly on the other side. It seemed there were others who were coming up. It figured, she should have realized that other people were going to come with the two roofs of the school now together as one. Curious though, as to who was there Lori started to make her way to the side that used to be the males, seeing that there were two guys there. She watched them for a moment, it seemed they just happened to both be there, not really knowing anyone. Though, she wasn't quite sure if she really wanted to chat with them.

Meanwhile, Alex was heading to her class though she had to pass the main entrance of the school to get there. The classes hadn't started just yet, since usually the first day started later but she noticed a girl coming in a bit late. The girl looked to have headphones on so Alex knew it would be rude to try and talk to the girl when she was listening to her music. So, Alex simply smiled at her and continued on her way.

Kelly noticed a girl smile at her as she walked by. She wasn't used to strangers randomly smiling at her so she only returned the smile with a confused look.
As the girl walked off Kelly looked down at her schedule to see what classes she got. Not only was she late but she had no clue where to go. Kelly sighed and was debating whether or not she just skip the first day of school and figure things out tomorrow.

Luci heard another person on the roof, he wondered if it was a girl since it came from the female schools direction. But he couldn't really be bothered to fined out so he just stayed, with his eyes closed, absorbing the sun.

It had been along time since he had visited this school, since he was taken out to go to another school. He had forgotten if there where any decent clubs to look into, maybe he could challenge someone. Well it didn't really matter since there was barley any one of his standards around

Lori noticed that the guys didn't seem to care that she was there, or didn't really know still that she was there. Curious about these two since they weren't focus on her she came closer to them. "Hey!" She finally said, as she came up to the two.

Alex went to her class, smiling at everyone when she walked in. "It's the prince! The prince is in our class!" Alex could hear the girls say and Alex all told them good morning as she took a seat down. Of course, all the guys in the class were confused. She got herself ready for class and let it begin.

Kalen turned his head as a girl spoke to him. He smiled warmly, and exhaled a cloud of smoke over his shoulder, away from her. "Hey." He hoped this girl wouldn't wake up the sleeping dude. Personal, he was awful when he was woken when he didn't want to be. "...nice day, huh?"

He didn't really react to the greeting, he was to fixated on the suns warmth to Cate about others right now. Plus his mind was else where, thinking about his hobbies and the club's at the school. Trying to remember if there was anything good.

This is my first time on the site but not my first time roleplaying, so I may make some mistakes.

Name: Bryan Andul
Gender: male
Age: 16
Personality: Energetic when around friends or in a good mood, a loner, sick sense of humor, very intelligent, enjoys dark things like black, heavy metal, and imagery of death. Has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, specifically with patterns.
Looks: brown hair and eyes, average looks, hair is very messy, 6'2" tall and weighs 135 pounds. Always wears a black hoody and blue jeans.

The kid in the back corner furthest from the door heard the chorus of "the prince!" from the girls in the class. He didnt even look up. Instead, the guy kept his stare fixated on the corner of the desk. He was new to the district: it was his first year, and unlike the other students, he was used to girks and boys being in the same classrooms. His gaze fell on the paper in front of him. Written on it were the words "Dont you see those bodies burning; Desolate and full of yearning; dying of anticipation; choking on-" Oh! That's right! He forgot to finish that sentence. He quickly scribbled down the word "intoxication."

Lori looked back and forth between the two guys. One, starting to talk to her while the other still seemed to just ignore her. "Nice day?" Lori repeated as she leaned against the railing and looked out at the sky. "The weather maybe, but as for the day itself. I don't personally think that the first day of school is a nice day especially with the way the school is now. All you guys might not care, but it's a pain for many of us girls that we're all together now."

Alex was close to one of the males in the class, one that seemed to be writing a word down onto a piece of paper that had other words on it. It was the first time with guys in a class with them, so many of the girls seemed a bit worried about how the class was going to go but for Alex it didn't seem to faze her. That meant that the girls were trying to look to Alex for comfort, which Alex didn't mind giving to them of course until the class officially started. Thus, the class began to start and the time went by getting closer to when the class would be over.

Bryan finished scribbling down the word in high nearly uneligible scrawl and held the paper in his hands, a slight smile of satisfaction dancing on his face very briefly. He placed the paper down and looked over at the girl that had been called "prince." Just by looking at her, he could tell she was nice. That seemed to be an uncanny gift of his: looking at someone and knowing what kind if person they are. It wasnt always accurate, but 9 times out of ten his hunch was correct. With that thought, he quickly looked down at his paper and continued to write, humming a tune very quietly.

After some time of bathing in the sun, the boy decided it was time to go on a hunt. He flipped out of his sleeping position, grabbing his bag as he did. He almost gracefully landed in front of the small girl. Looking her up and down then asked "do you know if there are any martial art based clubs at this school, anymore?" He flung his bag over his shoulder

Alex focused on what was going on in class, wanting to do well for this semester like she had done the last one. The guy next to her seemed to be very focused on his paper that he was already working on. It didn't look like it had to do with school from this view, but that was his choice. Alex couldn't choose what people wanted to do. Slowly the class continued to go on.

Lori wasn't fazed by having the guy jump right in front of her, she just let her hair blow back from the slight wind that the movement created. "Martial arts? Yeah, though the clubs don't happen until after school but I can show you where they are at later if you really want. I don't really mind the people in there anyway, they have guts."

When he had finished writing, Bryan folded the paper up messily and slipped it into his pocket. His focus immediately switched to this lesson. It was a fairly simple lesson that he already knew the basics in. He could tell that he was going to have no problems this unit.

"thank you, that would be very kind of you" Luci said as he smiled. I wonder if there will be some good people then, he thought. Since they supposedly have guts, then they will hopefully fight.

Placing out his hand "Hello I'm Lucifer ventor" he greeted, his innocent carefree smile, matched the glow of the sun

It's not like Lori was kind, she was just bored with school and wanted something to do...or at least that's what she was telling herself in her head when he responded. "Yeah, sure." She replied, then looked at his hand for a moment. She took it and gave it a sake. "Interesting name. Mine's Lori Carson." She replied with a small smile.

Alex continued to take her notes, that's what she always did. Of course, until the class ended and she began to put her books away back into her bag. Once she had her books away, she stood up and put her bag on her back. Alex headed for the door to leave the classroom and head for her other.

Lori, that's a nice name, the boy thought to himself as he shook her hand. But his trail of thought soon set back to the club's. "do you know what clubs there are" Luci asked, his hand was fiddling with something in his pocket

"Well, I'm sure there will be a lot of new ones since the schools are together now, but there's pretty much the normal ones you'd think of like book club, obviously there's sports here." Lori said. She took a glance at his hand that was fiddling around in his pocket. "I don't really pay too much attention to those things because I'm not in them. Most people didn't want me in them."
