"I'd love to make you into a comic book character." Zayn wrote back with a smile, and he led Liam over to a stall nearby which was selling all different comic books. "And there's a difference between comics, and comic books." He added very seriously.
 
Liam smiled at what he wrote back. "Would you make me a superhero as my comic book character?" he wrote to him before laughing at what Zayn added to his hand. "Okay babe there is a difference between comics and comic books" he wrote back.
 
"A big difference. Comic books are serious, and they're a lot longer. Comics are the the jokes you see on newspapers." Zayn told him, and let go of Liam's hand so he could look over the comic books in the boxes. He soon picked up a Batman comic book, and held it out to Liam with a smile, signing, "You're like Batman."
 
Liam smiled at what Zayn wrote to him and he chuckled and nodded his head and let him go to the comic books and he just scanned through them and looked when Liam signed to him. "Batman is my favourite superhero, I love him" he signed with a smile.
 
"I'll draw you in a Batman outfit." Zayn signed with a smile, and he put the comic book back, looking through them again. He soon found a The Flash comic book, and his eyes lit up. He paid for it, handing the money to the person behind the stall. He turned to Liam and signed again, "Guess what? A few months ago my hearing doctor Dr Walken gave me loads of the usual tests but a few new ones I've never had before. He recommended that I try and go for a new procedure they are tying in a hospital in London for a cochlear implant. I had no idea what it was but Dr Walken seemed positive about it so I did, I went to London and saw a few specialists there who did more tests on me. They told me it would take a while to get back to me. Last night I got a text message from one of the specialists and she said I'm qualified and I can get the surgery!"
 
Liam smiled and gave Zayn a wink with what he was signed to and he just carried on looking through the comic books himself to see what they had and wasn't that much into them but was just happy to see Zayn happy. He looked at him and what Zayn was signing to him and his smile just got wider and wider the more that Zayn signed to him and he engulfed Zayn into a happy hug before looking at him. "Zayn that is amazing, that means you will be able to actually hear with this surgery" he signed happily with a smile.
 
Zayn hugged him back with a huge smile back, and nodded as he pulled back afterwards. "It won't be until next year though, but I don't care." He beamed. "I'm going to be able to hear!"
 
Liam smiled a wide grin as he looked at him and he gave a shrug. "It wouldn't matter if it was this year, next year or two years from now, you are still getting the surgery and that is amazing Zayn, you will be able to hear and I think that is the most thing that you want" he signed smiling.
 
"I can't wait to hear you sing, and to just hear your voice for the first time." Zayn smiled brightly.

The following Friday, Zayn drove up and parked outside Liam's parents house. He took a deep breath and got out of the car. This would be the first time he was introduced to Liam's parents as 'Liam's boyfriend' and not just his friend. He headed up the path and knocked on the front door.
 
Liam was excited about his parents meeting Zayn for the first time and of course his older sisters. He looked when the door knocked and looked at his parents. "Please be nice" he said and went to the door and smiled as he let Zayn in. "Well hello handsome, don't be nervous" he signed with a smile on his lips and his eyes sparkling.
 
"Of course we'll be nice, Liam." Karen Payne rolled her eyes, and smiled warmly at Zayn. "It's so nice to meet Liam's boyfriend - I was beginning to think I would have to set him up with a date myself." She glanced at her son with a smile.

Zayn swallowed, and held his hand out to Liam's parents, signing with the other hand. "It's really nice to meet you both. I can see where Liam gets his good looks."
 
Liam smiled at his Mum and blew her a kiss and let Zayn into the house with a smile and closed the door behind him and rolled his eyes at what his mum said. "Mum you don't know my type of guy" he said with a smile and stood behind Zayn and placed a hand on his waist gently and kissed his cheek. "You don't have to suck up to them, they will love you" he signed and was just teasing his parents as well.
 
"I'm not sucking up to them - I'm being honest." Zayn grinned as he signed, and kissed Liam's cheek back. "And what kind of guys have you brought home before?" He raised an eyebrow at his boyfriend. "You seem like the type to fancy preppy guys with sweater vests and specs." He teased.
 
Liam laughed at what Zayn signed to him and grinned as his cheek was kissed back. "Very funny Malik, very funny" he signed to him with a smile. "No I haven't actually really brought a guy back here before, you are the first to be properly introduced to my family" he said smiling. "And that is definitely not my type"
 
"I feel very special." Zayn signed with a smile.

"Liam, why don't you bring Zayn into the living room, and I'll get some biscuits from the kitchen." Karen said to her son, and she headed into the kitchen. "Geoff, be nice to Zayn!" She called back to her husband.
 
Liam smiled at what he signed. "That's because you are very special" he signed with a smile and looked at his mum as she spoke to him and he nodded. "Yeah i'll take him to the living room and you are going to offer biscuits" he asked her with a laugh and shook his head and smiled. "My Dad is in the living room along with my older sisters and of course younger" he signed and took a hold of Zayn's hand and took him into the living room with a smile.
 
Zayn had managed to be able to lip read Liam over the last week, and he raised an eyebrow. "Biscuits?" He signed. "I like anything chocolate." He grinned and followed Liam into the living room. He waved to Sara, who was the only one he actually knew.

Sara beamed, and hurried over, giving Zayn a big hug around the waist. She signed to him, "Liam's been talking nonstop about you all day." She giggled.
 
Liam laughed at what Zayn signed. "Mum bring in the chocolate biscuits" he called to her as he saw what Zayn had signed and went into the living room and looked at his youngest sister and rolled his eyes and playfully put his hand over her face and pushed her away and gave Zayn a smile. "Ignore her" he signed to him.

Geoff looked and smiled. "It's very nice to meet you Zayn, you seem to have my son very much in love" he signed to him smiling.
 
Zayn signed back to Geoff, "Well, I'm very much in love with your son." He went slightly pink at that, and bit his lip with a smile. He glanced at Liam, and took his hand. He wrote on the back of Liam's hand, "Is it possible to be in love with someone so quickly?"
 
Geoff smiled at what was signed back at him. "You seem like a very lovely guy and well I think my son is very much in love with you as well" he signed smiling and patted Liam's back afterwards.

Liam blushed a little at what his dad signed back to Zayn and he felt Zayn tracing onto his hand and he grinned. "Well obviously it is babe because I am in love with you" he wrote back on the tanned skin.
