Sailor Moon NG

Is today "show off your transformation form day" or something? He wondered, smiling to himself as Katsu transformed into his other form. Katsu gave him a vague answer about the situation behind the door, but hearing Ryu's name was enough to pique Leif's interest. If Ryu's in there, then those "people" have to be quite important. He was about to ask them another question when something else clicked in his mind. Wait, Tomoko and Katsu both talk to Akio as if he's a- Leif's eyes lit up and as if to prove he was right, Akio held out his ring out to all of them, a purple glow coming off of it as he suddenly changes into his own transformation form. Like a kid at a fireworks festival, Leif watched excitedly as purple bolts of electricity covered Akio from view, leaving new clothes on his body once the bolts vanished. Leif made a quick note of the Capricorn symbol on his head when a glaive appeared in Akio's hand. Despite his own happiness for another member on the team, Akio himself seemed unsure of his new power as he held the glaive awkwardly in his hand. He was afraid, Leif realized. It only makes sense. Being a zodiac is a big responsibility. Not everyone is quick to accept their new abilities. "Well, seeing as though you're not very enthusiastic about this new role, you should just stick with us." He patted Akio's back. "I'm a zodiac too." Grinning, Leif holds his hand to Akio in a fist as if posing, showing him the ring on his own finger. "You're eithier going to grow to like it or....well, if you decide that you don't want it-" He looks up at the ceiling for a moment in thought. "I could always try to find a way to get rid of it for you." Leif smiled at him confidently. "Everything has an end, just as they have a beginning." He said as his eyes lingered on Akio's blade. "You've awakened to your power. If there was a way to figure out the origin of our powers, there may be a way to get that power back to zero, to get rid of them." Without waiting a second, Leif's full attention moved to Akio's glaive. The way that the dim hallway light gleamed against it made the glaive look even more ominous. Curious, Leif was about to ask Akio if he could check out his weapon when Ryu came out from the room they were guarding.

"Is there some secret meeting that I wasn't invited for?" The old man asked jokingly before giving Tomoko a quick order about escorting some guests. Not even a second passed before Ryu strode off again.

"Is there some secret that you're hiding from me, old man?" Leif called out to him with his hands cupped around his mouth like a megaphone. But Ryu had already left. Leif sighed. The old man is always in a hurry... Leif turned his attention back to a group of girls that were filing out of the room. "New recruits?" He wondered. It looked like they were new recruits...or special guests. The fact that there were so many of them in one day and that they were all girls bothered him. Could they possibly be...? Leif wondered for a moment. He left Akio and Katsu to talk to the first girl out the door, a cute girl with silky pink hair. "Hey there." He gives her a friendly wink. "We don't get a lot of cuties around here." He couldn't help but say as he glanced at the other girls behind her, noticing how beautiful all of them were. Well, with the exception of the little girl mixed in with them. She was cute...in a little sister kind of way. He spaced out for a moment. If he ever had a sister anyway..."Are you a new recruit? or maybe a guest?" Leif asks her, glancing over at Tomoko who was up ahead. "I can try to help you ladies get to your rooms if you want." He suggested, smiling at her.

Chibiusa giggled as the boy greeted her with a wink. "Uh Hi there, I'm Chibiusa and we are.. new recruits!" She lied quickly, well it wasn't really a lie they we recruits. Just not.. normal ones? She followed Tomoko down the hall and found the rooms quite nice and clean. She turned to the boy and smiled sweetly. Her pink hair swung in her high pigtails as she walked. "Oh really now? We're cute huh?" She asked with a slight giggle. Rini was blushing slightly as this was the first boy encounter that she'd had in over 10 years. She glanced back at Koishi as she smiled more and more talking to the mysterious boy. "Oh and what's your name?" She asked the boy, her pink bangs fell in her face and she pushed them out.

Tyler wandered through the city for hours trying to put what he saw together. Seeing a yomou wasn't a big deal as seeing the sailor senshi appear out of the blue and put them down. The he he also saw a male senshi. That was just crazy, but it happened. These things were going around in his head as he walked around with no real destination in mind. Then he found that the sun was setting and he was in need of shelter for the night. Once again he felt an unknown force guide his feet and he came across a hotel. It was nothing to special and it wasn't that bad either so she shrugged his shoulders and enter the hotel named Midnight Stay.

He walked up to the receptionist payed for the room for a week. She handed him a key to room 13 on floor 11 as he walked to the elevator he couldn't shake a feeling felt since walking into the hotel. It felt as if something was constantly watching him. Deciding that it was nothing but his imagination he made his way to his room. He entered the room kicked off his shoes and collapsed into the bed still fully clothed. Now that the tension form the early ordeal had fully left his body he felt a powerfully sleep start to come over him. " Man what a day" He mumbled as he drifted slowly away into sleep.

Leif was silent for a moment when the girl said her name. Chibiusa…? That name sounded very familiar…and for a know-it all like Leif, the fact that he couldn't quite place the name bothered him. He'll have to just do some research later… In any case, the girl was very bubbly. It was refreshing, really. Not all resistance members had the leverage to be cheerful. He noted how hesitant the girl was when she told him that they were recruits. She seemed to welcome his presence, so he alongside her to their hall. Leif didn't hesitate to answer when she asked him his name. "I'm Leif Hanson, an honorary member of the resistance and a talker by trade. If there's anything here that you'd like to know about, I'm your man." He said happily. Leif leaned in slightly towards her but was careful not to lean in too close for discomfort. "I also happen to be a zodiac." He whispered playfully. Leif was so proud of himself. He wanted everyone to know about his recent awakening, who wouldn't if they were in the same position?

"Most people just call me Rini though" she said. Chibiusa smiled at the boy as he said he was a talker, he reminded her slightly of Koishi when she was younger. That girl could talk your ear off, but then again she still could. Rini smiled to herself at the thought of her and Kosihi when they were little as they played with Umi and Sakura. All the girls were very close and their shared childhood memories made her chuckle a bit as well, but she hid it with a little cough as she cleared her throat. When the boy leaned in just a bit to whisper to her that he was a zodiac she was quite confused. "I'm sorry a what? I'm not quite sure what you mean.." She said. Wasn't everyone a zodiac? Everyone was born with a certain zodiac and that meant everyone was a zodiac.. Unless he meant that he was a.. Western Zodiac Senshi.. Yes that's what Pluto had told them about. The boy senshi, the western zodiacs! Rini's eyes suddenly lit up and a smile spread across her face as she leaned back into the boy, alittle closer then before and asked "you mean like a western zodiac? Like a sailor scout?" She whispered to him. The thought that they might have found 3 sailor scouts in one day excited Rini and she thought about what Pluto had meant when she said to find the boys. Did she mean just to find them or tell them that they were the lost princesses, or did she mean something completely different? Rini didn't know but as the leader she needed to find out more about these western zodiacs, and Lief seemed to be the perfect guy to talk to.

Rini's long eyelashes distracted him for a moment as she leaned in.

"You mean like a western zodiac? Like a sailor scout?"

So she's aware that the western zodiac senshi exist... Rini's words brought Leif back to reality and he nodded happily in response. "Yeah, my powers awakened last week actually, Rini." He started to explain, smiling. "There's supposed to be twelve western zodiac senshi. Each of us are supposed to have the power of one of the western zodiacs. I'm a Gemini Senshi myself." Leif was about to talk about the other zodiac senshi when the girls' rooms caught his eye. "Wow." He made a sideways glance towards one of the open doors. Their rooms looked newer compared to his room. He felt like he was living in a basement most of the time with how damp and cold the air was in his room. Then there was that strange moldy smell whenever he came in...he had teared the room apart before and he still couldn't find what caused it. Lately, he would just spray as much air freshener as he could around the room, although it didn't get rid of that smell completely. He should just get a new room assignment, he thought as he peered into one of the girls' rooms. "You guys won't have much trouble sleeping here..." He said as he looked around. It was cleaner in there...and there weren't any strange smells.

Leif turned back towards Rini and gave her a bright smile. "Mind if I move in with you?" he asked half-jokingly.

Rini smiled at the boy. "So your Sailor Gemini huh?" She asked as she grinned more. So if they had found Tomoko who was Sailor Libra, Katsu who was Sailor Aries, and now Leif who claimed he was Sailor Gemini that means the girls had to be on the look out for 9 more zodiacs. She was deep in thought before Leif brought her back to reality as he mentioned their rooms. She looked up and saw the neatly placed stone living quarters. Nothing like her room back home but at least it was something. Chibiusa was glancing around a room before she heard Leif again. "Yeah, it's nice and safe."She agreed as he turned to her she felt her heart skip a beat when he asked if he could move in with her. A soft blush appeared on her cheeks as she looked around at Koishi and Ryoko. "W-well we are having problems just assigning roommates among us as is.. But if you could I'd definitely let you room with me" She said batting her eye lashes a bit. She felt a bit awkward with the boy but she couldn't stop talking to him. He fascinated her with his dark green hair and the way he talked on and on. It was cute, He was cute. Rini smiled and leaned against a door way before she turned to the others, wondering what they were thinking.

The brat had pulled to a stop short before the entrance of the cafe, and had walked at a more normal speed with Kaoru down into the catacombs long before the girls had caught up.
"I'm gonna put these in my room." He had informed his 'big brother' as he darted off, arms wide and swiveling left and right as though he was a plane navigating through a narrow traitorous pathway.
Even though they weren't at all related by blood, Kaoru, and Ryu, were as close as brothers as he ever had. There had been a lady that had been doing her best to raise him as a little boy, but she got killed during a mission when Yuu was 6, and since then he had been around the guys most of the time. Oddly enough, there weren't a whole lot of women in the Resistance... Figures, girls are too squeamish, fragile, and fickle to make a real difference in this city. They run away from bugs, hate getting dirty and faint at the sight of blood. So lame. Men were strong, and could make a difference in the fighting around here. So the arrival of a whole group of girls was bound to stir some action down here in the sometimes mundane lives of the people of the Resistance. Even Yuuichi knew that much. Okay sure he had seen these girls get up in fancy outfits like Tomoko, but still.
With the stones securely hidden in the cardboard shoebox under his bed, together with the plastic rounds, bottle caps, and other 'valuables' he collected over time, he focussed his attention again on his buddy. "Say, wanna do the usual routine for 'welcoming new recruits'?" He asked with the tell tale grin on his face.

Not really paying any heed to the swarm of men that had collected outside of the room, Ryoko was among the first ones to exit, after Chibiusa, and two others. With a stern face she took in as much as she could from their surroundings and the people they encountered. Seemed they were turning a few heads. Great, so much for going as unnoticed as possible.
At least Chibiusa seemed to be having fun chatting with one of the guys. A fellow that seemed all too interested in the princess. Then again... Chibiusa was at an age when boys weren't icky anymore, but worthy of attention. Odd. Like a parent almost she felt twisted. Wanting to butt into the conversation, guard the Princess, but on the other hand she wanted to root for the guy, see how far he could get in winning the maiden's heart.
To avoid getting her attention on the two to take over or be noticed, she turned her sight to Umi. "Umi, do you now have an idea on who sleeps where, because honestly I've lost track by now." She figured if anyone had kind of gotten the final count, it would be the smartest one on the block.
They came upon the rooms and were about to take upon the rooms, so they had better figure it out soon. As long as she was in the same room as someone else with a night shift, she was good.

It was then that she noticed one big room. One that could fit 8 people with ease. "Say, why don't we take up that one?" She opted, pointing at the empty room, save for the beds and cupboards. It had four bunkbeds, which made for a total of 8 beds, so it would make sense to sleep there, as opposed to splitting up. Sure, there still was the night and day shift problem, but they had to calculate in that Setsuna and Tonbo would be returning hopefully too, this way they could ensure there would be a room for the sisters.

One of the very last ones to exit the room had been Hisako. She had figured it would be smarter for the slowest one to be in the back, otherwise she would just get in the way of the others as they wanted to get to their rooms quick. Ryoko had been distracted already, luckily. As much as she appreciated it that her friends looked out for her health, it kinda looked pathetic to be carried around everywhere. Maybe she would take up Ryoko's offer to get a wheelchair. Then again, if she didn't tax herself too much, she would be alright. And a wheelchair in the catacombs would be a disaster, judging by the looks of these tunnels.
She looked at the guys that had been perched outside of the room's opening. Some of which joined in with the group, like that Libra guy Tomoko, and a guy with green hair. Then there were two others that kinda stuck around a little longer. One kind of really caught her attention. She felt a strange attraction toward him. It was not the fall in love kind of feeling, but she felt a connection, a recognition. Part of that was because of the weapon he held.
Staring for a moment too long she realized she probably would be making a person uncomfortable. She knew she would be uncomfortable if someone just flat out stared without moving, so she turned away her head and looked behind her. The girls were distracted, moving on and she looked at the Sailor in front of her. "You're a Zodiac, aren't you." She asked. Pulling out the pen she had a feeling she was walking on dangerous ice. One wrong move and she could have been the one betraying her friends by accident.
"Saturn." She held it up high enough so the tall boy could see the symbol on Hisako's transformation pen. "I have a glaive, similar to yours, that belonged to my mother." Her dead mother to be exact, but that was too much information.
Now she kind of felt a little awkward. She wasn't sure what to say beyond this, what to expect this man to say. Or maybe she should just walk off, catch up with the others. Not that that would really make sense. So she kinda just stood there, hands hidden behind her back, fumbling with her fingers.

Umi was startled by all the guys that had gathered outside the room, and made sure to stay close Ryoko, who worked almost like a charm to ward off evil spirits, and walked as fast as possible to the designated sleeping area. When Ryoko asked her about the sleeping arrangements, she put her hand on her chin with a thoughtful expression. "Well we never really did agree on anything fixedly, and there are various factors and variables that need to be kept in mind. Most importantly should be as you said, to make sure we pair up those who work the same shifts, but when it comes to..." They then came across the large bedroom, and Umi felt a bit embarrassed that she had been so serious. "This seems perfect. If the ones working the morning shift sleep in the back, the ones working the night shifts won't have to worry so much about waking them up by making unnecessary noise and walking past them when getting back."

Koishi was excited. A lot of things were going on, and they were headed for the bedrooms. She missed her old one, and would much rather sleep in a bed she was used to, but if she just relaxed she would feel at home in no time. She was just about to ask Rini something when she was approached by a kinda cute guy with green hair. They started talking, and at first Koishi was really proud that Rini had already started flirting with someone, but then he asked her if they should sleep in the same room, and Koishi got flustered.
"Wh- what's he saying!? He can't be serious! A boy and a girl sleeping in the same room? But surely, that, can't be... Well, we live in a new age, but isn't that going a little too fast? No, Koishi! Remember that you are an ambassador of love, and if your best friend wants to venture out on the vast, unexplored waters that is romance, then you must support her all the way! Fight, Chibiusa, fight!" She thought to herself while making all kinds of exaggerated expressions and poses. Then Ryoko pointed out the room that would be perfect for all the girls to sleep together in. Relieved, she called out to Rini, acting as though she totally had not overheard her conversation. "Hey, Rini! Look at this, isn't it great? Now we don't have to worry about not sharing a room!"

Kaoru stood immersed in thought as Yuuichi once again darted off. A lot of things were swirling around his mind, like those mysterious jewels. What were their purpose? Why did the youma drop one? There was definitely something peculiar about them. When his 'lil' bro' returned and asked about "welcoming" the new recruits, a grin spread across his face and his eyes sharpened, making him resemble a shark. "I thought you'd never ask!"

Sakura didn't really like the guy talking to Chibiusa. He was being too pushy. Being very defensive of her friend, she felt like stepping in at almost any time now. Watching them out of the corner of her eye, she listened to Ryoko and Umi's conversation about the rooms when they came across the larger bedroom. It almost seemed like it was mad especially for them. "This looks good." She went in and checked one of the bunk beds near the door, jumping up on top of one of them with ease. "Feels good, too. I agree, we should definitely take this room."

The tell tale grin widened on Yuuichi's face as Kaoru showed his own. Good, very good. Hey the title of main pranksters of the resistance wasn't just handed out for no reason after all. Images had to be upheld and heck, it was fun.
"Ryu had said to hide the stuff, but I know where it is." The boy said, highly pleased with his ninjaing skills. Which in reality had simply been following the right people when they were moving what was used for the pranks. As if Ryu could ever really stop them.
Turning around, Yuu almost wanted to sprint into the right direction, but even he was smart enough this time to know what others would be considered suspicious behavior. Plus Yuu's poker face sucked.

Happy that some of her friends agreed that this was a good room, and would solve a whole bunch of other things, Ryoko entered the room as well and took a top bed near the front. "Good thinking Umi, splitting front and back. And judging by the height of the beds, let's make sure Hisako gets a lower bunk." Sitting down Ryoko realized she was more tired than she had anticipated. "I'd say let's get some rest, since we just came from battle and it's getting late. We can worry about more details in the morning." Looking at the people and near the room she was suddenly missing a face. "By the way, where's Hisako?" Ryoko hadn't noticed before that the younger one had gone missing. Oh crap, what if she had collapsed in the hall somewhere? Or maybe she had simply walked slower than the rest. All of them really needed to up their game in checking if everyone came along now that they were in a treacherous location namely the darkened Crystal Tokyo. "I'll go look for her, unless someone else wants to?" She figured these halls were safe enough for any one of them to roam through, so she wasn't that worried, just... The little one had been in a bit of a bad shape. Not that any of them were really fully up in their game after their first battle.

After having jumped up on the bed, Sakura felt her eyelids growing heavier. She hadn't realized how exhausted her body really was because of all the adrenaline, but she was running on spare fumes, and imagined all the other girls were as well. She pulled up from her position, jumping off the bed, in order to make sure she wouldn't pass out on the spot. "Sleeping sounds like the best idea I've heard all day. I think Hisako stayed behind to talk to one of the boys outside the meeting room. I can go fetch her, no problem." Sakura went out the room, back the path they had taken to get to the sleeping area. And, well enough, she found Hisako and the boy standing outside the room. "Hey, Hisako, we found a room that fits all of us, so we don't have to worry about splitting up. Since we're all really tired we were thinking of calling it a day, and you should probably head down if nothing else but to stop the others from worrying." She smiled slightly. Hisako was such a sweet girl, Sakura didn't want to come off as pushy or intimidating.

Leif's eyes lit up at Rini's answer. "Great," He said happily. "I wonder if the old man would let me…" Leif wondered as he brought his hand under his chin in thought. He really wanted a new room and Rini seemed very interesting. It wouldn't hurt that he would be sharing a room with a cute girl.

"Hey, Rini! Look at this, isn't it great? Now we don't have to worry about not sharing a room!"

The cute blonde brought Leif's attention to the other girls' conversation. He moved away from the room that he was checking out and peered into the eight person room that the girls seemed to like. Eight person room, huh? That's convenient. Smiling, Leif glanced over at Rini. "That makes the room assignments much easier." He was slightly disappointed that he wouldn't be able to share rooms with her. He looked back at the room across the hall. But if they were all going to stay in that room, he could probably choose any of the other rooms. "I'm going to see if I could move into one of these rooms." He wondered whether he would want the room closer to the training ground or the old man's office as the rest of the girls conversed.

Rini giggled wildly as her gaze shifted from Leif to Koishi. "Oh great Koi! Yay!" She squealed like a little child as she peaked her head into the room. Rini looked up at Leif again and smiled. "That's true!" She said and looked around as she stepped into the room. "So Koi which chunks should we take?" She asked her friend as she looked at the small but quant room. "This is going to be so fun!' She said while sitting on the bottom bunk of a bed. "I'm sure boss man would let you switch if it's that bad." Her small voice traveled though the room like a loud echo. She watched Sakura leave the room in search for Hisako and she got up to tell Leif goodnight. "Well Leif I think we are going to head to bed.. I have the morning shift in the cafe tomorrow but I'm sure I'll see you around.. Sailor Gemini." She said with a wink and a smile before turning her back and walking back to her spot on her bed. Flirting with a cute boy and finding out that your the new moon princess and leader of the most badass group of girls that ever walked the universe sure could wear a girl out!

Leif smiled brightly and waved as Rini went to her bed. So she's working in the morning tomorrow, huh? The old man doesn't waste time getting people to work. "See you around." Leif was about to turn to leave when he remembered something. "Oh, and if there's anything you guys want to know about the resistance, feel free to ask me." He said with a wink. Closing their door behind him, he headed towards his own room. The place is going to be more lively now with new recruits. He thought to himself cheerfully. He should bother Ryu about the room change tomorrow, it was already getting late.

Umi went up to a bed, the one Sakura had jumped up on before, and had a lay down on the bottom bunk. She breathed out, as her mind went through everything that had come to pass this day. Just this morning they had been going by their lives as they had always done, safeguarded in another dimension without any real care in the world. Now they had been tossed into an entirely alien world, with the "news" that their parents had been dead since they were all children and that they would have to take up their jobs as guardians. She sat up, looking around the room, mainly at Ryoko. "What happens with all our stuff? Like, our clothes. We didn't bring any with us. Do we just replace everything now that we're here, do we just replace our old lives like that?..." Realizing she was just being a bother, bringing the mood down for everyone, Umi shut herself up. "Sorry, I think I'm going to try and go to sleep..." She pulled the covers over her body and laid her head on the pillow. It wasn't what she was used to, but at least it was something.

Koishi leapt on top of the bunk bed Chibiusa sat on. Or rather, she tried to, but she didn't get a good grip and fell down rather gracelessly. But she was up on her feet again in no time, as if nothing ever happened, and managed to take her time and heave herself up on the top bunk. "This looks good! Not much privacy in a room like this, but it'll be fun! Like we're all just on a great big camping trip." Umi made a comment about their old stuff, and Koishi realized that they had kinda left in a great hurry, not taking anything with them. Not that it bothered her that much, a change of wardrobe for her was like a breath of fresh air. She put her head down the edge of the bed so that her hair almost touched the ground, and looked at Chibiusa with a bubbly grin. "Hey, when we get the chance, wanna sneak off and look at some clothing stores? I've been dying to see the fashion on earth!" She whispered so that only Rini could hear.

Chibiusa smiled up at her bunk-mate and giggled as her butt fell in her face and she helped the girl up while collapsing in a fit of giggles on her bunk. Suddenly she heard Umi's voice and sat up. "Umi don't shut up! You're the smartest one here for goodness sakes!" Rini sat seriously as she leaned forward to address Umi's question. 'Well we have at least one pair of clothing," Rini said staring down at the transformation pen in her tiny hand. "As well as the uniform we're going to get from Ryu. Maybe we can look around town for some extra clothes.. I don't think we'll be able to get our old stuff back.." Rin's voice trailed off into a depressed tone of voice. That place was there home, all there memories. Ryoko helping her to talk and run and Umi helping her to write and Sakura teaching her how to kick, punch, and bite. And who could forget Koishi, her lovable best friend who spent every second trying to teach Rini how to dance. Even Rini had grown up and taught Hisako a few things here and there. The twins.. How were they doing? Where were they sleeping? Why weren't they here with them..? Rini's stroll down memory lane was interrupted by a familiar whisper in her ear. Her face lit up as she quickly turned her head to look up at her friend and winked. "Of course" She whispered.

A good leader wouldn't do that though.. So Rini sighed and made a comrpomise. "As long as were back by a reasonable time. We have work in the morning" She said with a giggle.
