Dlanor A. Knox - Charon - Outer City

The Inquisitor stopped in her tracks once realizing that another had took aim at her and fired. She was prepared to take care of those incoming bullets, but didn't have to waste the precious energy of the Red and Blue Keys as the Ashen One managed to deflect the bullets away with his shield. By that time however, Dlanor realized that this was the T-800 model that was specifically programmed to assist the Coalition, given that a single scan from him brought to light that she was a Coalition member. At least with that, their small skirmish had ended, and that they could focus on the impending robot threat developing in the Undercity.
"Let us make haste to the undercity's DEPTHS. I believe that those individuals from moments ago noticed something amiss with the machinery present THERE."
Knowing that the potential target was needed to be disposed of before the situation escalates with the surrounding robots, Dlanor made it clear that there was no time to waste, and advanced downwards in the Undercity.
Charon - Undercity

Just as others were arriving to see that Shadow was already engaging with some of the attacking robots, it appeared as if the robots weren't that smart or adaptive when it came to combat. Combined with the sudden gunfire from the T-800, the red-eyed machines were in full panic, attacking erratically with no direction to their movements. Most likely attacking themselves in response.
"S... scary... so s... scary..."
"Must... kill... must... die..."
"Do what she... says..."

Those were the notable words said from the panicking robots, almost becoming an eerie rhythm of robotic voices repeating the same lines over and over again. Surely with this type of behavior on these strange robots, it wouldn't take long to get rid of them before they do any real damage...
"Report: No matches to the data of unit 9S detected in available map regions, and will attempt a scan until said data is found. Warning: A mass of detected hostile machine lifeform signals located above current position. Proposal: Engage these enemies with ranged attacks."
The Pod would report on it's scannings and attempt to do so again to find 9S, but also warn the group that was already there or just arriving to the Undercity that there was incoming airborne machines. These appeared the same as the other robots on the ground, except it looked like they were forcefully jammed into a hover-like system to all them flight and what appeared to be artillery fire. The airborne artillery that these robots had shot out energy orbs, which gave off the notion of a magical substance and not a scientifically generated substance.
"KILL FOR THE QUEEN, AND WE SHALL BECOME GODS!"
"BECOME AS GODS! BECOME AS GODS!"

These airborne robots were more expressive through their chants and less fearful than their grounded counterparts, of which the grounded robots were hysterically killing each other off out of apparent fear, and thus the airborne robots were letting loose a mess of magical artillery fire at the supposed intruding group. Just as the Pod said, ranged attacks looked like the better strategy here if possible for those present.

The Ashen One - Undercity

(Volume warning.)
By the time the Ashen One had reached the Undercity, the airborne robots were en route. He looked at the horde of approaching robots in bewilderment. Before, he had assumed that the robots were iron golems, which are mindless suits of armor. Now, he realized that his assumption was incorrect. These creatures didn't appear to be mindless and they had the ability to fly.

He never imagined that metal could be made into intelligent beings. This unknown type of enemy filled him with fear, something that he hasn't felt in a very long time. He would not let his fear get the best of him, however. If he could get the Lords of Cinder onto their thrones, he could destroy any number of robots that got in his way. He put his shield on his back and brought out a Sorcerer's Staff. It was time to demonstrate the power that he has accumulated over the course of many years.

The amount of souls that he has absorbed allowed him to be a knight, a pyromancer, a sorcerer, a cleric...
He could be anything.

"Such terrible creatures. Thou shalt feel the wrath of this Unkindled ash."

BtkIQ7Z.png

He prepared to cast Soul Stream.

ea9b008bb6fb494cb8748bf87c73ba06.png

Some wind-like sounds could be heard as a large amount of blue energy surrounded him and surged into his staff.

pp9uq7H.png

After about five seconds, a huge cylindrical beam of bright energy was shot upward, aimed at the approaching flying robots. This discharge of energy was quite loud, and could possibly be heard a mile away.

This beam of energy would destroy energy orbs and robots that were unlucky enough to be caught in the blast. The question was, would the robots be clever enough to avoid this?

Chris/ Asher- Fandral's Apartment

" Well, it is a book that does not exactly have the best track record with evil. Basically, as long as I possess it and nobody evil touches it, it stays on the side of light... if someone with dark intentions touches on the other hand, not so much," he replied

Asher was eating the food he had received much earlier and was looking around the room as he did so. He didn't understand a thing

" If I remember correctly though as the book also knows a few things about other universes magic, that version was also infertile which doesn't explain how Asher exists... unless we can chalk it up to those incidents that also consumed the life of my mo- friend's mother and his aunt. I forgot the technical name, but those multiverse accidents. Perhaps he conceived the child while in one of those."

" Either way, that does not help to see if the man who claims to be Asher's uncle and that he knows is a good or bad person," he replied, as he looked over at them for a moment

" I hate to say it, but I think our best course of action is to go out and find the man who Asher freaked out and make sure he is okay," he said, looking at the duo, seeing if they agreed.

Another overview scan from the T-800 revealed that the machines which had just arrived above the small group of Coalition members were in fact more hostile than the grounded robots, which obviously posed little to no threat. For the time being, he'd divert his focus away from the grounded robots screaming in terror and instead to the robots mid-air.

Lowering the speed on his bike so he could steady his aim on the flying mechanical assailants, the T-800 began to fire at them with his shotgun, still steering the bike with his left hand and firing the pump-action shotgun with his right hand.

Shadow hopped right out of the hole he had drilled into the boxing robot's body, and grinned as he stood back and watched the widespread panic his demonstration of power had struck into the gathered crowd's corrupted systems. At the growl of an engine, he looked to his right to find the T-800 plowing right on through all the chaos on his motorcycle. Looking to his left, he found The Ashen One firing a stream of some kind of strange chaos energy, and oddly enough it wasn't directed at him.

"Shadow!" Rouge hollered from behind, and right when Shadow needed some questions answered too. "Your timing is impeccable, as usual," the black hedgehog casually stated, "What's going on? How did you get those two to cooperate so quickly?"

"A lady has her ways.~" Rouge answered with a smug grin and a wink. Shadow offered merely a smirk and an amused grunt in response, "It's good to have them off our backs and on our side nevertheless. Omega, you'll take point alongside our new friends and assist in holding the line. Rouge and I will watch the flank to stay out of everyone's line of fire. Understood?"

"Affirmative," "Got it!"

Omega1235.jpg

Omega stomped steadily into position alongside The Ashen One and pointed his miniguns into the air to begin pelting the airborne attackers with wanton gunfire without really aiming at any of them specifically. Meanwhile, Rouge grabbed hold of Shadow and hoisted the hedgehog into the air. With her sights set on a pack of robots approaching her allies from the left, she swung Shadow back and forth before flinging him spinning into the air. Hurtling through the air, Shadow crashed against one bot's flight mechanism then bounced to another, and another, and another, sending them all tumbling to the ground like birds whose wings had been clipped.

"The usage of magic from mechanical foes is WORTHLESS. WORTHLESS. WORTHLESS!"

Dlanor was not impressed by this display from the airborne machines. It was her duty after all to spite any type of magic in the wrong hands, and this type of situation justified her duty to eliminate them immediately. So a usage of the Red Truth was viable for her to power up her Red and Blue Keys. Somewhat ignoring the Pod's proposal of a ranged attack, Dlanor was able to leap into the air to stab her blades into one of the airborne robots. It appeared that even as some of magical artillery shot at her had little to no effect to her, revealing that magic wasn't really going to cut it against Dlanor.

As everyone proceeded to attack against the robots, they didn't seem to do anything else but fire out that same magical artillery in the form of orbs at all directions, which allowed for easy picking in a few hits or no less. However, just as they were to be destroyed in those hits, these airborne machines would immediately combust into a large explosion upon their destruction. While those that attacked from afar were not affected by this, Shadow and Dlanor were more than likely to be caught in it all, for they attacked these airborne machines head-on.

Caught in that blast, Dlanor was able to recover once she managed to get back onto her feet after landing roughly in response. Well aware of what these airborne robots do upon dying, she prepared for her possible options to attack from afar somehow.

Even with that first wave gone, more of these flying robots came rushing in, this time swarming the group on the ground at a closer range but still firing those magical orbs at them wildly.

"Report: The black box signal of unit 9S has been detected, and will be marked on the map that will be projected to see. Proposal: Proceed to marked location to rendezvous with unit 9S. Reason: Unit 9S has the capability of disabling the virus that has affected these machine lifeforms."

The Pod would announce this after commencing a second search for "unit 9S," and projected a map with a marked location. From the looks of it, the factory up ahead was the place to go, especially with the large masses of machines crowded in and not actually attacking like the airborne ones. Even as these grounded robots weren't actually attacking them, the group had no other available choose but to force them out of the way, on top of the fact that they had to destroy the airborne machines that were sending out magic orbs at them.

"They a... are false."

"Do not... l-let them in!"

"Yes, the Queen demands no interrupt... ions!"

Peeking out of the factory that the group had to proceed into, a few robots were apparently dressed as if they were priests, and were beginning to close the doors to the factory. Surely that meant the group had to rush their way in before these robots would close the doors, but even during that, the surrounding robots in the air kept on chanting the same phrase over and over.

"BECOME AS GODS! BECOME AS GODS!"

The T-800 would identify the signal on his built in radar before turning his bike around to head to said location. The signal was strong enough so that the Terminator had little to no trouble finding it. It appeared as though the signal was coming from some sort of factory nearby. When the T-800 pulled up to the factory, he slowly edged closer to the entrance on the bike before finally coming to a complete halt.

harley+davidson+fatboy+terminator+bike+photos.jpg

Still clutching the shotgun in his right palm, the Terminator easily identified the hostile robots in front of him trying to close the doors. Without a moment's hesitation, the T-800 aimed the gun directly at the smaller robots dressed as priests and fired at them. If the shots were to connect, then he would begin to head inside the factory and locate the source of the signal. If not... well then things might just be interesting.

Even as every robot he grounded blew up in his face, Shadow stuck his landing mostly unfazed. Destroyed machinery and robotics exploding in his face was hardly anything new, since his spinball and chaos powers tended to have that effect on things. He and Rouge joined up again to prepare for another team attack, but before they could leave the ground, their informative pod buddy hit them with another update. Glancing from the map, to the factory doors, to the T-800 revving up to mobilize, Rouge passed Shadow a smirk, "Seems like a job for the Ultimate Lifeform,"

"Don't get too comfy; you're coming with me," Shadow retorted plainly. Rouge blinked, and appeared hesitant to comply, but nodded regardless. Shadow nodded back with a confident grin before turning away, "Their forces are already split enough between Omega, our friends, and I. Keep a low profile and you'll make it through," he finished upon lighting up his skates and heading through the T-800's trail of carnage, "Omega, cover us!" commanded Rouge as she took the the air to trail behind Shadow; staying just high enough to avoid the grounded robots without taking up too much of the flying robots' airspace. "Covering fire already in progress," Omega replied, continuing to fire wildly into the air, but taking special care not to aim too close to his allies.

The Ashen One - Undercity

murakumo.png

Satisfied with the results of his Sorcery, the Ashen One unequipped his staff and then unsheathed a curved greatsword, the Murakumo, seemingly out of thin air. He held it with both hands and rested it on his shoulder in order to make it easier to carry. He looked toward the mass of metal that was otherwise known as Omega. He stared at it for a while before coming to the conclusion that it was also a robot rather than a simple iron golem. This particular robot also seemed to be an ally, which convinced him that not all robots were the enemy.

He had mistaken Omega for an enemy earlier, so he wanted to apologize. However, now was not the time. A battle was underway. Besides, apologizing to a robot seems odd. Is that even something that you should do? Do they have feelings? These were all questions that the Ashen One thought of in his head as he sprinted toward the factory.

Fandral of Asgard His Apartment.

Fandral thought for a moment. Finally pulling out his own cell phone looking device. He smiled wide.

" I have a quick idea Master Chris, I believe I can call my home and have them contact this Lucifer fellow. You see, I know how some phones work, I just hadn't had time to get a local phone as yet. Mine can call my home, but only my home... Give me a moment wont you ? "

So he dialed his phone...Soon the others could hear a woman's voice on the other end.

" Lady Sif, thank you for answering, I have a favor to ask. (( There is a reply that is not quite loud enough to make out )) Yes, it involves Midgard. A nightclub called Lux, in Los Angeles... ( somewhat sarcastic reply ) No no, there is a fellow there, I met him once with Hercules. (( Irritated reply ))
((( This part in Ancient Norse ))) You don't understand, I believe I have found this fellow's child, it's important. Please find him at once !... I will send you a picture, yes... I owe you... my thanks Lady Sif. "

Fandral then quietly took a picture of Asher and assuming it turned out, he sent it to Sif.
" There, hopefully that will produce some results. As far as finding that fellow, I do believe that part is possible, but after what happened, he won't be so eager to speak with us. ( smiles ) But perhaps with the beauteous Lady Jasmine to make our point ( He shrugs ) I am certainly willing to try.

Besides, apologizing to a robot sounds weird. With their advancement towards the factory, it didn't take too long for the group to mow through the grounded robots that were in their way. Surely after the combination of their efforts, they would beat the priest robots from closing their way into the factory, destroying them along with the many grounded robots in the way. However... the flying robots weren't going to let them proceed just like that. Whatever was left of the flying robots began to mash themselves together, crudely making themselves into what appeared to be a makeshift armored flyer machine.

"... I will remain and deal with this THREAT. If possible, go on AHEAD. We cannot afford to lose our opportunity to disable the source of this THREAT."

Dlanor knew that this "unit 9S" may be their chance of stopping these haywire robots, and knowing that she couldn't stop for a second for any other obstacle, the others had to move on. Some could stay and assist her, but it was definite that some others had to proceed into the factory due to their lack of time. Silently awaiting this large flying robot's move, Dlanor began to draw in energy in both her Red and Blue Keys.

Undercity - Factory

The interior of the factory was completely messed with by these haywire machines, whatever they had was used to make this factory into a rough imitation of a church. The very first thing they would see was that there was a group of the priest robots carrying a coffin into the other side of the corridor, rushing with this task as the main group walked in. Just as these robots hurried away with a coffin, the map projected by the Pod would give away that the coffin had the moving location of unit 9S's black box signal, showing that these robots had abducted their available help. Before anyone could jump the gun and try to retrieve the coffin to save unit 9S, another group of robots ran into the room. With their heads flashing red and letting out all sorts of steam, these robots were obviously on the verge of exploding!

"DIE TO BECOME GODS! GODS! GODS!"

Screaming out in misguided glee, the suicidal robots ran towards the group, about to explode upon contact.

"Proposal: Attack these machine lifeforms at a long distance away to avoid the expected explosions, and proceed to retrieve unit 9S from the machine lifeforms' custody."

The Pod simply stated what they had to do here, so nothing much of note there.

Feeling her cheek redden at Fandral's words, at least a little, Jasmine placed her hands on her hips and grinned.

"If we have to find the man then so be it, I may be able to pick up his scent but it would be a little tricky unless one of you maybe had him grab, like, a sleeve or something? If not, we'll just have to be on the look out." she concluded, grin becoming a thoughtful purse of her lips. She wondered what that man had known of Asher's father? Only time would tell really.

Chris and Asher- Fandral's apartment

Chris was surprised that the man had a device akin to a cell phone, but he noticed him smile wide for it.

" If your idea helps us to find Asher's father and you have a way to contact him, I am sure that it will work. I will give you a few minutes to talk to whoever you need to talk too. I can watch Asher to make sure that he doesn't accidently teleport himself away from everything else."

Chris listened to see what the conversation was going to be about and he looked down at Asher.

Chris listened to him and he wondered how come he had never heard about. It was when he heard about the nightclub named Lux that something reminded him. The new branch- ODMA- they had just recruited a man who once owned a nightclub, was it possible that this was the same person or at least the same version of the person? He would bring it up to the others when Fandral and Jasmine were paying attention to him.

Despite not knowing that his picture was being taken, it came out picture perfect.

" I am not sure what happened between you two, but I hope that it doesn't hurt Asher in any way," he said, placing his phone on the table and at the moment, Asher grabbed it and picked it up and opened Chris's phone browser.

Asher accidently pressed a recent newsreport from Ragnarok. It was certainly strange that something had happened.

" Found bleeding nearly to death by John Stevenson, the assistant doctor to Henry Morgan, Thug Lorenzo Mario Clark was rushed to the UN hospital by the good man. It seemed that the man had stitched him up from his knife stab wound and had a limp leg and brought him to the hospital to make sure nothing was damaged." Chris turned to the phone, just noticing Asher had taken it.

" Well, that is certainly awfully coincidental... too coincidental for my taste. Fandral, I think we should go visit terrified Bum Leg at the hospital... something feels off to me."

Entering the factory proper, Rouge's inner techie was both shocked and appalled by the unique decorations, and it showed through her expression while she soaked in the sight. "Just what has gotten into these junkers?"

"I don't know, but they're getting away with someone who does!" mentioned Shadow upon stopping dead in his tracks as another pack of robots charged his position, like a pack of raging bulls ganging up on a single matador. Strapped for time, Rouge spent no time analyzing the situation and jumped to act, only for Shadow to stop her from taking flight, "Hold. I'll draw their attention; you'll fly as high as you can to approach the captors unseen," ordered the commanding hedgehog.

"Gotcha," Rouge agreed.

"Go!"

On his mark, Rouge rose with a mighty flap of her wings, and a second, and third, until she nearly kissed the ceiling before proceeding onward. On the ground, Shadow began to skate away from his partner's original position while readying a chaos spear and subsequently chucking it at the wily robots, confident it would hit something within the uncoordinated cluster they had collectively formed.

Meanwhile

The growing amalgamation of flying robots quickly caught Omega's artificial, and sure enough, his full focus as well, "Interesting; the infected robots plan to become more durable through sheer number," he explained as he ceased fire, but only to ready his energy cannons and missile launchers alongside his miniguns before sicking them all on the flying metal contraption, "but have only succeeded in forming a larger target,"

The T-800 entered the factory as well, as the 9S was the priority of the mission now. Noticing the robots dressed as priests were carrying the coffin, supposedly also carrying unit 9S, the T-800 began to approach them with his shotgun in hand.

Before he could attack, however, the group was bombarded by what looked like even more robots. These were on the verge of exploding, it seemed. Standing from a safe distance, the Terminator began shooting at them with his shotgun, trying to eliminate them before they got any closer towards him or anyone else.
