Mentions: Harmony, Officer Jenny and Styla (@Luelle ), Leo (@LoveandHate91 )

Listening to Leo, Neri showed little to no signs that indicated she'd be willing to believe him. But before any immediate response could come, Harmony stepped in and said that they should head to her house. Tori was quick to nod in agreement "Your mother did want you to pass by, right? Best to not keep her waiting." She said, before giving a gentle push to Neri to walk beside her as Harmony began leading the way to her home.

On their way, Neri looked towards Leo and when the chance rose up, she moved to walk a bit closer to him "I can't let it go. Not until I know who did tell the authorities about me specifically, and that they could find me in the Beach with Eevee. It was all too specific, especially when no one else seemed to even care and they were just too caught up in the festivities. And you are the only one, that I know of, who knew where we were and left back to the city. Even if you did what you say you did, finding the officer along the way wouldn't have been hard. So I can't trust you," Neri said, before glancing towards Tori "But until I get solid proof, I won't just accuse you like that again. So I do apologize for that." She told him, before moving away from him to walk beside Tori again.

After some time and a bit of a walk around one of the beach paths of the town, they finally arrived at Harmony's home. Both Tori and Neri seemed to be captivated by how the house looked, and the location. As Harmony went ahead and introduced them, Tori offered a wave of her hand at the mention of her name. Styla certainly looked like a lovely lady. As Styla asked her question, Tori looked towards Leo "I don't know if we are needed there, we already performed our assignment for today. But since we do not know when the next one would be given, perhaps it would be better to head back sooner than later?" She pondered out loud for all to hear, so they could offer their thoughts on the matter.

While Neri heard her sister talk, she turned to look at the shoreline of the beach. She could see a couple of Shellders that appeared to be happily sitting in the sand, letting the water wash over them as each wave came. It was a lovely sight. Only after a moment, a call came towards the ground, or more specifically, her. Neri turned to see Officer Jenny, who requested to talk to her, as a glare in the officer's eyes.
Tori quickly turned to look at the officer and wanted to speak up, only to stop at the sight of Neri nodding towards the officer "Of course Officer. Just like before, you won't see any resistance from me. What do you need to talk about?" Neri asked. She was hoping the officer won't suddenly state that the Governess decided to request that further action would be taken against her for supposedly kidnapping her Eevee. She really didn't want to giver Tori another reason to worry about her today.

VANNA LASS
LOCATION
INTERACTIONS

"We're mostly alright." Vanna confirmed as Leon made his way back to their group. She watched out of the corner of her eye as two people walked up. Once she was sure Altair was only mostly dead and not dead dead, she gave the two strangers her full attention. She'd done some reading about the two of them. The guy was Mayor Nero. The girl was most likely his sister. The living teddy bear, which would someday turn into a true monster as it hugged the life out of its prey, was fucking adorable. However, her focus was on what Nero said.

"... It has the anchor from the Aqualaw?" She asked in mild shock. No wonder the dhelmise was such a huge pokemon.

The Aqualaw was a massive ship designed similarly to a cloyster, with a wicked high defensive rating as far as commissioned ships at the time went. It went missing, supposedly sunk by the legendary Plundrift, a great white whale pokemon. Vanna's fascination in stories like these was the biggest sign she was from Sinnoh. Everyone knew the myths in Sinnoh, and she figured it had been the same elsewhere and dug into all the material she could find. Of course, there weren't exactly many credible sources on the myths of Leoluna on her cruise ship, and there was hardly anything by way of stories that had traveled to Sinnoh. Just news articles talking about the development of the region.

Fen beamed a smile back up at Nelle, clearly content just holding onto the pokeball. "I found him in the Sinnoh region, outside Hearthome City. But it was more like he found me, sir." Vanna answers the mayor, meeting his icy blue gaze with a little smile and warmth in her grey-green eyes. She pats Fen on his ghostly little head. Mayor Nero was a very critical person, in one of the articles she dug through the author even wondered how he was elected to be mayor with such an odd disposition. Meeting him face to face, she had a good idea why. He was smart and capable.

Harmony wanted to say goodbye to her mom and the sisters were having a heartwarming reunion. Leo had nothing even close to this and it was almost making him sick, but it was also because he envied the family's love and connection. As he's been lacking it for years when his parents died. And his grandmother never made any attempt to even visit him.

As the group was following Harmony to here home Neri decided to come closer to Leo and have a small chat. "It is hard for me to get solid proof that I had no involvement in that. But you got to think how many eyes the governess has and that they were probably watching over you after you had a confrontation with her. But I'm glad that you are apologizing because I would love to move forward and not be at odds with each other." Leo said even though he lied about having no involvement because he was the reason why.

Once reaching Harmony's house she raced in and it was obvious where Harmony got her personality since her mom was acting like a teenage girl. "It is a pleasure to meet you mam." Leo said giving Harmony's mom a small bow. Leo also noted Harmony's blush at the professors name and her moms teasing smile. Harmony seemed to blush whenever he was brought up meaning one or two things she had a embarrassing history with him or she had a crush on him. Leo would make a mental note to find out what it was.

But most of this would be interrupted by a demanding voice. Everyone seemed to turn to the voice which belonged to Officer Jenny. And boy did she look pissed at starring right at Neri demanding to speak with her. But Neri seemed to understand the situation as she said she wouldn't offer any resistance. Their was very little reason for Jenny to know they were here, but Leo could certainly use this situation to help further his case that Leola has eyes on Neri and Tori.

Altair & Psion

Seaside Cave
Interations: Vanna - @AshenAngel Leon - @Soverign Mayor Nero & Nelle - @Luelle

After the adrenaline started to fade away, Altair was slightly more aware of his own condition. The sun blistered his eyes a bit as he moved his fingers around the gravelly ground, trying to get a grip on his body again. The calming allowed him to feel a few dull pains around his body, a few sharper ones, but only on the skin....Nothing to worry about. He thought. Dings and bumps were quite familiar to Altair already, and the situation he just came out of can definitely be considered life-threatening, he was lucky enough to get out with a few scratches.

Out of the corner of his eye he can see Vanna and her Pokemon, Fen bounced around with the newly caught Dhelmise's Pokeball. Psion looked at his trainer in the eye briefly and floated away towards the Spiritomb, he wasn't there to scare Fen this time, Altair had intended for him to watch over Fen instead. Just because a Pokemon was caught inside a ball doesn't mean it can't still be dangerous, especially a ramparting one like that.

"I'm fine..." Pushing himself up by the elbows Altair replied to Vanna and Leon, his voice was a little hoarse, the sandy and salty air stung his throat when he noticed the newcomers to the beach. It was a young man and woman with light blue hair, a Stuffle followed them. As the two got closer Altair recognized the older one as one of Leoluna's city mayors, Vanna seems to know more clearly though.

The tidbits of their conversation made everything clearer to Altair, he had questioned this when the Dhelmise first emerged, but the battle ensuing didn't allow him to keep a further train of thought. First, he noted the Pokemon's unusually large size, it was three or four times larger than the average Dhelmise seen in Alolan and Galarian waters, which made sense if it's anchor was built for a cross-regional defensive ship instead of a more local vessel. Not much could sink ships of that caliber, but a legendary Pokemon would certainly be more than capable. It also explained the Dhelmise's chaotic actions and unusual reaction to the move torment, the seaweed wrapped around it wasn't a single spirit, it contained many more, caught in the sinking of a gargantuan sea vessel...That would make it similar to Spiritomb in structure then...

"I see." Altair slowly got up to a standing position, but a sharp pain in his right lower leg caught his attention more, a drop of sweat formed on his forehead and slide down the boy's face. "-Psi, fairy lock." The keyring returned and quickly generated a light pink glowing chain that wrapped tightly around his trainer's right ankle, subduing the pain and letting the leg can hold some weight properly. "I'm not a fan of bureaucrats." Ironic for a gym leader wannabe. Altair continued as if nothing had happened, raising his head to meet the older man's gaze. His bright pink eyes were a stark contrast to the mayor's cold blue ones, but they carried a similar air of judgment. "But you seem to know your stuff, pray tell me more." Altair understood that the Dhelmise he just captured could very well be a formidable force, but that requires its spirit to be at peace, a bit of ghost Pokemon 101. He can't help but feel responsible even if he just captured it out of self-defense, and wasn't about to miss a chance like this.

"Indeed. A legendary sea craft." Nero gave a questionable smirk to Vanna, nodding to its association to Leoluna's legendary Pokemon. "Hearthome city…." He noted with a thoughtful pause.

He turned his head forward to leave until the boy on the ground wanted more from him. "Pick up a book sometime, kid." He said coldly, unimpressed by the boy's lack of historical knowledge. He didn't take much notice of the new boy and his Leolunan aron.

"Might wanna get your boo-boo checked out first." Nero added with his back still turned. Nelle gave an apologetic look to them on behalf of her brother before trailing away in silence behind him.

The two headed passed the sea cave to a freshwater spring with Nelle's favorite purple flowers on the edge. Streams of water trickling down the cliff wall to fill the spring.

Nelle sat upon her knees by the flowers with the walking teddy bear, and Nero set up a portable hammock between two pom trees. He plopped inside his personal hammock and took out a dark hardcover held beneath his waistband.

His sister sat in silence seeming to pray or meditate with a breeze through her hair. Stufful folding into a nap.

Harmony's House
@LoveandHate91 @Nim

Just when drama seemed to be lightening up somewhat, the officer from before had returned for Neri and Harmony returned a worried look to her mom.

"I'm sorry for interrupting Styla, but there is an important matter at hand." Officer Jenny said before nearing. "Eevee is missing again under my charge. He ran away or worse." She informed them. "I've nearly searched the whole city, and happen to spot you as I was on my way to question the local neighborhood. Must be a sign or something." Jenny eyed the original suspect.

The tension from her glare easing as she saw that Neri was in good company with Styla.

"Has she been with you the entire time since our last encounter?" Jenny asked, referring to Neri. Harmony looked at Neri and remembered that she had been gone alone for some time. She quickly looked to Tori, hoping she had a spontaneous alibi.

Officer Jenny placed her hands on her hips firmly waiting for a good answer. She cocked a brow at Leo who was now accompanying the person he had reported. Jenny growing suspicious of him now too.

"What's going on?" Styla asked them, her sunshiny demeanor now cloudy.

As Officer Jenny started explaining things to the group, Tori couldn't help but feel a bit scared. For all she knew, Neri was on her for some time. And she understood that Neri was rather determined that Eevee would be in bad hands with the Governess, but it just didn't feel right. Neri wouldn't have gone and done something that would break what Tori was trying to teach her all this time, would she? Grabbing a pokemon by force was probably one of the biggest mistakes one could do in Tori's book, when it came to pokemon.

Neri's eyes jumped up at the information that Eevee vanished from Officer Jenny's watch. While it meant that he was out of the Governess reach, it also suggested that someone either actually grabbed him now, or that he was on his own, yet again. Bother scenarios didn't sound good. For a split second, she had a thought of snapping at Jenny for letting such a thing happen and to begin wondering if she just chose to come accuse her because she was accused again, but thinking of Tori, who was standing beside her, Neri figured it would be best not to do so.

As Tori was still contemplating what to do, Neri started speaking up "I wasn't with them since our last encounter, I was on my own. My sister here told me it would be best if I let the spirits cool in the area and perhaps even head back to Keukelo, our home town. So I ran from her, not letting her escort me to the docks, and reached it on my own. I didn't pay attention to anything except for the way to the docks, at which point I remembered I couldn't board the ferry back to Keukelo because I lacked the funds. I started to head back towards the pokemon lab, thinking the professor could help me find some shelter for the night, and then I encountered all three of them again, before walking with them here." Neri said, trying to stay as collected as she could, though it was clear that fear was beginning to grasp her too.

She then turned her gaze towards Styla "Earlier, I saw an Eevee run in the crowd of the celebration. I knew it was the Governess's, but since I believed I saw her push it away in a less then gentle manner, I wanted to make sure it would be safe. People thought I found the Eevee for the Governess, at which point I directly accused her. It was wrong of me to do so, but since the Eevee managed to run off, I went after it. I found it by a food stall, where a boy with a Mudkip was feeding it and his Mudkip, before heading away, leaving me to pay for the food with what little money I did have. It was at that point Harmony and Leo found me, and then we all went together to the beach, where we met up with my sister. After that, Leo went back to town to take care of some errands, Harmony and Tori went to catch pokemon and I played a bit with Eevee before trying to go find Tori and Harmony. Only when I heard Officer Jenny's motorcycle, I panicked and practically scared Eevee into running. I didn't want it to be found and brought back to the Governess. But I did still do what Officer Jenny told me to do, since I didn't want to make Tori look bad. I also heard someone had accused me of outright kidnapping Eevee." Neri finished recapping what had happened to Styla.

"And something both Leo and Harmony could verify, I never forced Eevee to do anything. I always asked it. Tori taught me to be friends with pokemon, not to force things on them. So why would I suddenly throw something I value so highly away, risk losing the respect of who matters the most to me, just to protect one pokemon that was clearly scared of me now?" Neri asked, her gaze turning back to Officer Jenny as she did "I also understand I was in the wrong for acting the way I did, even if it felt otherwise." Neri finished speaking and looked down to the ground, slightly shaking as she was clearly scared to hear what would come next. The truth made her look anything but good, she figured, but she wasn't about to let anyone lie on her behalf.

After Neri finished speaking, Tori just stared at her sister. She herself wasn't aware of the full story until now, so after hearing it and seeing Neri begin to shake, she moved to hug Neri, before looking at Officer Jenny "Neither of us knows the city that well. And without that Eevee's pokeball, Neri would need to hide it if she had tried to take it by force. Why would she hide it somewhere in a city that she doesn't know and then go to the docks? Just to leave it hidden somewhere on its own? It would be outright cruelty to Eevee to just leave it stranded in the city, just as it would be to leave anyone stranded in any city they don't know, without food or anything. And its not like she could've used a pokeball either. The Governess most likely has the Eevee's pokeball, and as we all know, its impossible to catch a pokemon that was already caught. I'm sorry Officer, but I think you are looking at the wrong suspect this time." Tori said, trying to make sense of the whole thing the best she could. With Neri telling the truth the way she did, there wasn't much else that she could do.

Excited eyes grow big as Nat watches the girl she ran into shout at her in a foreign language she did not understand. Tears pricked her eyes as she looked at the other two individuals near her, finally noticing the tense situation. Nat got into a defensive stance and glanced at Pea, who was hovering near by shaking in fear. A comforting smile placed itself on Nat's lips as she pat the little Flabébé on the head. "It'll be okay Pea," Nat said in a quiet motherly tone. Pea looked at her partner and bobbed up and down slightly before nuzzling Nat's face ready to fight if she had to.

Turning back to the fight Nat watched as the group she ran into worked together effectively. They attacked the Persian as a team, hitting blow after blow. Not once was the Persian able to attack. As the last attack from the group hit Nat took this as her chance to help. "Pea! Use Fairy Wind!" Nat commanded the Flabébé. Pea bobbed up and down before pointing her flower at the Persian. The wind began to pick up before a large gust shot forward from the flower at the Persian.

Jenny lost the damn Eevee! How incompetent is this officer. Leo thought seeing as if it wasn't returned then he risked everything for nothing. But the case gets worse she's searched the entire city with no luck. But clearly Neri is still a suspect. Leo looks to Claw which may be a Leo to help find Eevee if he can get the scent but that requires Leo getting away from the group damn it.

"To be honest officer we just meet up with her. But from what her sister said she was on her way to leave but couldn't afford the ferry. So she has been alone for a little bit. But if she did go to the ferry that leaves little time for her to have found and taken Eevee before finding us." Leo said to Officer Jenny as he thought of a good way to get away from the group to help find Eevee. He looked down acting sad. "I'm sorry guys but when I think over what happened the governess could have accidentally kicked Eevee when it surprised her. So I don't think she's that mean and now that she's missing it even worse I think it may be good if I help Jenny try to find Eevee. If Claw can pick up its scent that is. I mean Jenny won't give it to the governess of it appears to be afraid of her right. So everything can't be that bad." Leo said moving forward a little from the group. But whispers to Neri. "Might get suspicion off of you if I help to."

But then Neri decided to come forward and give her part of the story. Which was somewhat long and had some things that happened before Leo meet with Neri and then Tori at the beach. Leo heard Tori's side as well which did make a lot of sense. It wouldn't help anyone if they did it. And then Leo remembers that boy Harmony's cousin. "Wait a second Tori you remember Harmony's cousin he looked like he tried to steal Harnonys pokeball I know she said give him the benefit of the doubt but what if he actually was trying to steal it. He could have taken Eevee if he came across it. Harmony does your cousin know the city well."

"Eris suits him. The name's Lynus, how bout you?" Wye looked back over at the young boy walking into the park. As the boy kept talking, Wye stood up to his full height. He remained quiet until the boy was done speaking.

"You sure you should be here in the first place?" Wye asked, just before he felt a small impact on his side. A flying pokemon flew forward past him with something in its chubby paws. He looked up at where the pokemon seemed to be heading, then shrugged and turned back to Lynus. "I heard there are Palossands here. Ghosts aren't pokemon you want to mess around with, you know?" He had the tone of an adult scolding a child as he spoke. He pointed at Milly with his thumb over his shoulder. "If this young lady were wild, she'd probably have you for dinner." Milly kept floating, staring blankly at the boy.

"On y va?" Wye said, looking back at Milly. He turned back to Lynus, looking him up and down. Without another word, he headed for the lab, unaware of the fact that his wallet and empty pokeball were missing.

Harmony's House

Officer Jenny's brow raised even higher at Tori admitting to being alone. Harmony raised both of her own when Neri spoke up instead. "It's true Officer, I told Neri I would help her with the money! The cook held Neri responsible for the meal.."

Harmony thought over the rest of what Neri said, "From what I've heard from Tori and Neri before, the story matches the same as now." Eev! Eev agreed in unison. Oricio just staring without a clue.

"Did you see this 'trainer' who left Neri with the bill?" Officer Jenny wondered, as she kept an eye on Neri for any indication of fleeing. The supsect's story was seeming less out of the ordinary now.

"I did not, but I did see his Pokemon who was eating with Neri and Eevee. A mudkip. It left at the sound of a whistle." Harmony remembered. "The Mudkip belonged to someone for sure."

Officer Jenny kept her eyes on Neri as the girl turned to Styla, and Styla offered a listening ear.

Styla gave Neri her full attention to make sure she heard everything right. When she finished, Styla remained quiet for a moment before speaking. "While this doesn't look good, I do believe Neri is telling the truth. She has detailed everything calmly and concisely, while expressing her sincere concern for Eevee. Something just isn't adding up in this story."

Styla's face saddened at Neri's shaking, and Harmony swooped in to wrap an arm around Neri and Tori.

Tori said her peace and Harmony nodded in agreement with a now protective look toward the officer. Leo chiming in initially before Neri started her side of the story.

"So everything's adding up except for your part…" She said sternly, now changing the attention to Leo. She began to open her mouth, but stopped to listen to what he had to say next.

Harmony's eyes flickered wide and she was in disbelief at Leo's mention of Lynus.

Styla simultaneously crossed her arms with Harmony while side glancing at her daughter. Harmony was now staring straight at Leo. She could feel the blood boiling in her veins. Her protective expression for Neri, now stiffening toward him.

"Hold it, let's back up a minute. Take a walk with me Lionheart." Officer Jenny stepped away with Leo, with their backs facing away appearing to be getting his side of his new finger pointing.

"The question is, why are you accompanying the very suspect that you believe to have stolen Eevee for herself?" Officer Jenny asked only for Leo to hear. Her arms folded firmly with a confrontational look.

Lynus giggled at Wye, but mostly for seeing that Emolga had successfully snagged his wallet. "I don't scare easy." He made a scary face at Milly playfully, but really to further his distractions. "Au revoir!" He called after him with a greedy smirk.

"ARH." Lynus winced as something collided with him while he sat on the stump. The pokeball he had been twirling on his finger knocked into the air with other pokeballs flying off of him to drop onto the ground.

"No, no, no.. WAIT, that's my pokeball!" He called after the boy's Mudkip, as Lynus quickly scooped up the other balls.

Lynus sprang after the boy who had been carrying some kind of ticket. Lynus used his fingers to whistle for Emolga who sprung stealthily out of a nearby brush to present the wallet and things. "Follow them--"

Emmo! Emolga dashed across the length of his arm and leaped off to glide after the Mudkip.

Tori turned her look towards Leo as he seemed to agree that Neri wouldn't have had a chance to find Eevee, let along grab him in any capacity. But as he started to defend what the Governess did, she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow towards him. Surely the Governess could defend her own actions, right? Then again, she remembered how much she appreciated the support of the crowd around her when Neri confronted her. She begin wondering if Leo was perhaps on the Governess's side as well. As he whispered something to Neri, the young girl simply stared at him for a silent moment, clearly not believing him.

After Harmony also spoke up, Tori began letting go of Neri, her glance moving over her younger sister. Neri didn't seem to notice, as her sight was focused on Leo, who now brought up someone else who could've apparently been a potential suspect. She couldn't help but feel like that confirmed that he was prone to ratting people out. But she just kept looking at Officer Jenny had called him to go with her to talk about something. Again, just Officer Jenny and him, talking about something no one else was meant to hear.
As the Officer and Leo moved away, Neri turned to look at Tori and Harmony "That was about how he also approached to talk to Jenny back at the forest. Just the two of them, without anyone else meant to hear. Tell me it doesn't feel off if Leo has nothing to hide." She told them. She then caught how Harmony appeared to be and approached her "Uhm, Harmony? Is everything alright?" Neri asked, catching on how she appeared to now be looking towards Leo.

"I imagine she wouldn't be alright, considering Leo just accused her cousin of stealing Eevee. And that was just because of an accident earlier." Tori explained, turning to look at Styla more than the other two girls. While she did still have her suspicions of Lynus, Tori had little desire to support any accusation without proof, just as she told Neri to do. With her gaze fixed on Styla, Tori bowed her head towards her "Thank you ma'am. It means a great deal to me that you said what you did."

Rising from the bow, Tori glanced at Harmony and Neri. Neri was now trying to hug Harmony to help calm her down. Tori turned to look at Styla once more "Neri always has the best intentions in heart when it comes to pokemon. She just acts more than she thinks if she believed a pokemon was wronged. I hope she'll learn to think a bit, for her own sake, so to avoid situations like this in the future, but at the same time," Tori moved to glance back at her sister and Neri "I hope she won't lose that courage to just act up whe need be." Tori spoke to Styla in a slightly quieter voice. Her volume suggested that she wasn't trying to hide anything, merely that she was letting Neri calm Harmony down without interruption.

"I mean, Moe has decided to go home" she says innocently giggling as she placed one of her hands on her cheek. "Uh?... ok thanks for the heads up" Tommy says looking at the Nurse Joy cautiously.
"Oh and who might you be?" Nurse Joy says bending over to gently pinching his cheek

The Persian's confidence in its Feint had left it careless, and prone to backfiring. Locked in on its prey, the Persian failed to notice Mothra until the small bug crashed into its face with a surprising amount of force. The Zen Headbutt dazed the Persian for a moment. However, a moment of being a sitting (psy)duck was enough to get trapped in Zubat's Supersonic. The feline Pokémon buckled, unable to continue its approach whilst tormented by high-pitched sound-waves. It was at that point that the newcomer decided to assist in fighting off this feline foe, compelling Mél to reconsider her unfavorable first impression of the girl. Moments after calling upon Pea's Fairy Wind, the Persian had enough of enduring the onslaught of yet another Pokémon joining the fray. Repelled, the Persian backed off and ran itself into a few stray garbage cans before clawing itself over a short wall to make its escape.

Mél's eyes widened at the sight for a moment, scanning the area with held breath. Only letting out a sigh of relief after there were no signs the feline would return. At least for now. "Heh," she let out a short chuckle whilst using a trembling hand to search her bag for a cigarette. Bringing the nicotine-packed reward to her lips, she took a long draw and let the smoke out slowly. "Chatte de merde..." she muttered to herself before stepping up to Ashe, patting the girl's shoulder with a corner of a smile on her face. "Ashe! You looked like you were going to fight that Persian yourself, what's wrong with you." She exclaimed half teasing and half in awe of the girl's guts.

Mél attention stayed focused on Ashe for a moment until Gummy bumped into her. Nestling into her arms as she held the pink blob. "Ah, mon petit chou, are you alright? Hm..?" Looking down at her Pokémon the girl's eyes started reflecting shame. Compelling her to turn her attention towards the girl she had shouted at. "Hey, eh-," Mél started awkwardly, "look, I'm sorry for, well, whatever it was I called you. There was a lot of stuff happening with that Persian and, eh- I apologize."

Leo followed after Jenny once she demanded to speak to him alone. And after he was out of war shot he would then speak a little more freely. "To be honest i don't give a damn about the two sisters. And earlier one was supposed to be leaving for a while. The only reason I'm hanging around is because I'm hanging out with Harmony and she invited the sisters which almost seemed like they are glued together, that's the only reason why I'm hanging out with the suspect. Not to mention if they trust me I may be able to find out things like this in the future easily as well."
Leo looked back to the group while talking alone with Jenny clearly this didnt look good to speak alone just like earlier. And he could see the hate Harmony was feeling towards him right now. But he had a feeling her cousin wasn't a innocent guy his smile and personality was so fake and confirmed to Leo he was some kind of thief. "Maybe to lower their suspicions of me request to speak with everyone alone so it doesn't appear out of the ordinary that you spoke to me."

Harmony's eyes narrowed into slits at Leo when Neri made her comment about his secrecy. She dropped her crossed arms and let out a fierce huff. Styla's arms remained folded tightly as she softened her tense eyes when Tori engaged.

"Of course, a friend of Harmony's is a friend of mine." Styla smiled, but then her face immediately became serious again at the sight of Leo. She just shook her head in silence at the young man, astounded by his accusation on their family.

Harmony accepted Neri's hug, but she remained silent watching until Officer Jenny was finished with Leo. Eev gave a worried glance to Harmony and Oricio hid inside her hair feeling the unnerving tension seeming to spark from her human.

"Her patience will certainly improve with time." Styla offered words of encouragement to Tori about her sister, "For now, you can continue to help her to channel her passionate attitude appropriately." Her face easing, yet concerned for Harmony.

"Hmm." Officer Jenny listened to Leo and just nodded to herself. "Stick around." She patted him on the shoulder. "Tori, right? I'd like to have a word with you alone." She waved her over. "What's your thoughts on this Leo guy?

Officer Jenny paused a moment to respond to scratchy message on her communicator. "Also, what's with Harmony's cousin?" She noticed that Leo had mentioned it to Tori, so she was curious to know what she had to say about it.

Emolga zeroed in on Tommy's mudkip and almost had him until a slimy protrusion randomly smacked him right dab in the middle of the face. Emolga's facial expression now frozen in a state of exclamation.

The flying mouse floated down awkwardly to the ground feeling violated. Emolga wiped the slime off of his face with a winged arm and gave the frog a look of disgust. Lynus now running up breaking his attention.

"Ehhhh? No?" Lynus answered the intrusive old lady whom he didn't recognize. "No problem?" He took Cutiefly's pokeball back with unexpected ease. Emolga now running up a nearby tree to sit watching on a tree limb.

"Oww-how-do'ya know m-uh..." The old woman pinching his cheek rather violently. "Well I'd rather not- HEY how'd you get that?" Lynus said after Tommy popped the stolen wallet back into his shirt pocket. So much was happening all at once.

The hair raised on the back of Lynus's neck at the sudden sound of a stranger's creepy voice. "WHAT-" A random Nurse Joy appeared talking about some Moe character. "AH--" His sore cheek now snatched again by the nurse this time.

The eerie nurse patted his head lightly and Tommy left them alone to catch up with the elderly. "On second thought...." He said smiling nervously at the nurse who watched Tommy's every fleeting step. "Roast sounds really good. Buh bye." He ran.

Listening to Styla, Tori nodded along with what Harmony's mother had to say. She offered a smile of gratitude at the friendliness the lady showed, before offering her own wisdom regarding Neri. As she listened, Tori glanced toward Neri, who was now hugging Harmony "Wise words from a wise lady. I'll be sure to do my best to help guide Neri in the right direction, no doubt about that." She told Styla. After a moment, Officer Jenny went and asked Tori to accompany her. While Neri gave her a worried look, Tori returned a reassuring look as she went and approached Jenny. Before reaching Jenny, Dee decided to fly off Tori's head, with Tori quietly appreciating the privacy he was giving them.

Hearing the questions the officer had to her, Tori briefly glanced towards Leo before putting her attention back on Jenny "I really don't know what to think of Leo. He says he tries to help, but there were several things that just don't add up. It just feels like there are things that are inconsistent in his behavior. Before, he apparently also supported the idea that the Governess pushed the Eevee away purposefully and wanted to take the Eevee for himself. Now, he suddenly believes that the Governess was likely innocent. And then there was also how he just blamed Harmony's cousin. It was rash and without any proof." Tori said, connecting both of Jenny's questions together at this point "But I suppose I best tell you what he refered to overall before continuing."

Tori took a second to recount it in her head before speaking "Harmony, Leo and I had just finished showing our new pokemon to the professor, which was our first task as gym leader trainees. We left the lab, and Harmony bumped into her cousin. Some pokeballs spilled all around, and while Harmony was in a rush, she didn't notice that she picked the wrong pokeball. Since I tried paying more attention, I noticed her cousin did pick up her pokeball and called out the mix up. They exchanged the mixed pokeballs and then we went on our way while her cousin went another way. So it just feels like it could've been an actual accident, or something purposeful, but it was over too fast to be sure. I wouldn't go blaming him just like how Leo did, especially not over something that I have no idea if Harmony's cousin would even know of." Tori finished explaining, before glancing towards Leo again "It just feels a bit like Leo has an agenda of his own with how he does some things, and how he vanished and showed up later exactly where you, Neri and Eevee were in the forest. It isn't a small forest, so what are the odds he would just find Eevee like that?" She told Jenny, expressing her suspicions as she moved to fix her gaze on the officer once more.

Neri, after seeing Tori move to talk to Officer Jenny, turned to look at Harmony. She noticed Oricio move to hide in Harmony's hair, and also how Eevee was looking at Harmony. It certainly felt like both could feel the same feeling that Neri could feel came off Harmony at the moment "Harmony, You must have a lot of anger in your mind right now, but try to calm down a bit. Eev and Oricio can both feel what you feel. You don't want to cause them to worry too much, do you?" She started telling Harmony "And you shouldn't act when you feel angry. That's what I did earlier, and you saw what happened."

Neri hugged Harmony a bit tighter "Please calm down. I don't want you to do something you'd regret later." She told her, hoping her words were getting through to Harmony. She also hoped that thinking of Eev and Oricio might help calm her down.

Leo did keep looking back at the others but mainly Harmony. Her anger was clear even her Pokémon could sense it. Leo could never believe she could have this much anger. He may have to start traveling alone soon seeing as he may have made Harmony hate him and kill any chance of a relationship. Oh well it's easy to replace a girlfriend. There's probably some good choices among the other trainers.

"I'll just wait with the others and if you could do me one more favor, please lie for me. Maybe tell them I've worked with the department before to help maybe kill some suspicion. But I'm the end it's up to you if you want to lie for me." Leo said with a smile trying to manipulate the situation he then wiped the smirk away and rejoined the group as Tori was called over.

"Sorry kind of forgot you wanted to drop the conversation about your cousin and maybe I should make assumptions about someone based on what could have been a accident." Leo said to Harmony with Neri close. But I'm reality Leo thought Lynus was a thief his smile and personality was just so fake, either that or he was the nicest person in the world. And Leo doubted that.

Leo did catch Tori's glances back at him. So he was certainly being talked about well maybe. Tori could be just glancing at the group just as Leo was when he was talking with Jenny in the first place.

This is getting extremely annoying putting on this fake play dealing with Neri and Tori when he didn't give a damn about them seeing as he like Harmony but he's probably damaged that with what he said about her cousin.

Leo could hear Neri trying to calm Harmony down saying that she had a lot of anger which was truly visible and the tension had reached another level. Truly Leo wanted to ask Harmony's mother about Lynus but this wasn't the best time for that.

Watching the pair go Leon took in a breath "Well he seemed peachy" He was not impressed with the superiority the man had given off. But he was not going to bother with an issue that was resolving itself. Placing both palms one atop the other on his cane he relaxed looking at Altair "You caught quite the Pokemon. Well done. From a boat of legend in the region no less" He was about to continue but was paused as Gem shifted in her sleeping place. He looked in the bag watching her enjoy the warmth. He looked at the jewel on her forehead had a red tint to it when the light touched it just right. He gently used his index finger to rub it and as soon as he saw the sparkling color it vanished. Taking a small breath he decided to move past the strange curiosity and let her sleep.

Looking now to Vanna the soon to be rock gym leader smiled
"Were you successful as well on your pokemon?" He asked in a curious tone. He had enjoyed his venture in the cave but upon doing so missed the other two catch their pokemon. Adventure stoked and could hardly put out at that point once catching had begun. Though he did have questions. And maybe they could help him find some answers "If we caught our pokemon do you think the professor would know about fossils? I think I found one but have no idea how to even go about restoring the Pokemon. Or if it's just a random cool rock" He said giving a slight chuckle but still a sense of curiosity was on his face. Looking into the bag the cooling plate could be seen barely at the edge of the bag.

Vans grew slightly cautious of the break in Nero's stone face, not sure what to make of the little smirk he sent her way. Her growing uneasiness was expertly hidden, and she internally cringed at how Altair talked to the guy. The tiniest of frowns crossed her face at the mayor's parting remarks. She felt slightly icky after all that and lightly brushed her hands off on her dress pants.

Vanna had slipped into quiet thought as she watched the mayor and his sister head off. She blinked out of her pondering when she heard the question sent her way. "Oh, yeah. I caught a larvitar. She seemed pretty dead-set on eating Fen's keystone... Is that, uh, normal? with rock types?" She asked with a little note of confusion in her voice. "Since it's starting to get a bit darker out I might have some better luck catching an actual dark type on the way back. I'm not sure if larvitar would pass as an evolution technicality for the assignment." She rubs the back of her neck.

She perks up slightly at the aspect of an unknown fossil. "I know a rock person, they could probably ID it if they're online." She offered. "Can you show me the fossil real quick?"

As Leon held the fossil where she could see it, she went to an app on her poketch. She took a quick scan of the fossil and created a digital image of it. She attached the image to a message, and after typing away for a second she fires it off. "I know Oreburgh's Mining Museum does restoration work with fossils... Maybe there's some place like that around here. And once it gets confirmed, I had museum and culture visits on my to-do list anyways. Could be a pretty fun trip." She says with a little shrug.

Harmony's House

"Neri is lucky to have a sister like you." Styla smiled warmly to Tori. As Tori was called over by the officer, Styla moved in to wrap a calming arm around her daughter. She didn't want Harmony to act out of anger either.

"A wavering mindset, indeed." Officer Jenny noted on Leo, before listening to the rest of Tori's statements. "An accident that was civilly resolved. Nothing notably suspicious." Officer Jenny thought aloud concerning Lynus.

To honor her duty to respect Leo's anonymity on the report, Officer Jenny just nodded to Tori. "Thank you, Tori. That's all I need from you for now." The officer took a moment to herself at Tori's leave.

When Neri spoke to calm her, Harmony sighed with softening, apologetic eyes. "You're right. I'm sorry if I caused any uneasiness." Harmony snuggled Eev and gave an affectionate scratch to Oricio in her hair.

Eee! Eev reassured her with a little smile. "Thank you, Neri." She said, giving Neri an appreciative squeeze. RI! Oricio popped her head out and pecked on Harmony's sunny hair playfully.

Styla's heart warmed at the interaction between Harmony and her new supportive friend. Her smile quickly fluttered away at the sight of the young man now approaching her daughter. Harmony looked up, keeping her composure before answering him.

"Maybe next time, you could consider a friend's family before blatantly suspecting anyone of a serious crime." She looked away from him disappointingly, with her arms returning to a fold. Styla nodded silently in agreement.

"Harmony, I'd like to speak with you next." Officer Jenny summoned her to break the silence. The two stepped away and Harmony recapped Jenny on everything that had transpired truthfully and to her knowledge. Blaming no one.

Harmony returned to her mother's side who had held Eev for her. "Alright, I have some searching to do. Neri, I suggest that you come with me to help find Eevee and clear your name."

Officer Jenny unattached a pokeball from her belt and waited for Neri's decision. "I'm coming too." Harmony decided. Ee! Eev nodded to Neri. ORIII! Oricio chirped with a shake of her pom poms.

"It's decided then!" Styla turned to whistle at the doorway and a particular canine awoke from his slumber and shot outside to excitedly greet Harmony whimpering with happiness.

"Zeusy!" Harmony squealed happily as the dog jumped onto her waist to lick Harmony's cheek. She calmly pet the anxious dog and reassured him with kisses to his head. "I missed you Zeus." Booool! He happily howled.

"We'll search for Eevee together." Styla determinedly smiled, with a nod of approval from Jenny.
