Alyssa made sure to keep the pups attention on her while Jack freed it and bandaged its injured paw before she stroked it gently over the head and eventually the small wolf pup released Alyssa's hand from between its maws. "Poachers, no doubt. With so much wildlife being hunted. There is not much left for the animals and thus they are forced to move closer to human territories to find food. What I am more curious about is what such a young pup is doing so far from home." She said as she looked at the dire wolf pup that sat on the ground whimpering.
 
"I guess there is always this problem...Should we take it with us? I don't think we can leave it alone!" Jack started petting the animal with a smile, he really liked animals, but he wasn't sure if Landro wouldn't get even more angry
 
The pup growled slightly as Jack petted him and it appeared as if the pup was still frightened. Alyssa held her bleeding hand and she looked at the pup while pondering on the matter. "That is a good question. Landro will most likely not be happy, that is true. Bit on the other hand, the pup is so young that it won't survive much longer on its own." She said and sighed heavily.
 
Jack took a bandage from his arm and gave it to Alyssa.
"You better fix that up..."
He continued petting it and made the animal look at him.
"Hey, are you alright? Do you want to come with us? It will be stressful, but I will get you food!"
Jack smiled at it and kept petting it as he looked at Alyssa.
"I will convince him."
 
The wolf snapped at Jack with his maws in order to bite down on his hand when he got annoyed as Jack kept on petting him, Alyssa took the bandage and carefully wrapped it around her injured hand. "Jack, he is a wild animal, they tend not to like being treated as house animals." She said as she looked at him.
 
He pulled back and grinned "You are a fighter huh?" he looked at Alyssa as he got some distance from the animal, he obviously knew what would happen if he continued. "I know that it is a wild animal, it's a puppy after all, so I couldn't just let him be alone!" Jack smiled at the animal again and yawned, "Don't worry, no one will hurt you."
 
The pup growled slightly as Alyssa looked at him before she looked at Jack. "Let us continue to the keep. If Landro asks, I will take full responsibility for any accusations and punishments." She said as she started to walk and the pup sat on the ground, cocking his head from side to side.
 
Jack followed her and looked back at the pup, probably it was best to leave it? He wasn't too sure. "You don't have to take responsibility, really I will talk to him and talk it out, I was the one heading out to get you after all...and I also got you to visit the city with me.." his eyes went to her neck, she was still wearing his present, which made him quite happy. "I am sure we will manage and get through all troubles."
 
"I really hope you're right about that." Said Alyssa before she turned her head and looked at the pup, once they had gained some distance from him, he stood up and dashed after them. Alyssa smiled faintly and she trailed her fingers across her necklace. "What if we don't, though...? What if Landro does something drastic without thinking?" She then asked in a worried manner.
 
Jack sighed at the though, he didn't see Landro go on a rampage ever, but maybe this case would change his decision.
"I don't think he will do anything, but you are right...if he decides to do something it might be bad and he could actually be bad in any way..?" His eyes went of Alyssa as he looked at the animal that now followed them, it made him happy to see that the pup was at least not just dropping dead there.
"But do you think we should go somewhere else? Or prepare somehow?"
 
She shook her head slightly while she walked. "I know I haven't been in the Order for long, bit I, the Keep is probably the only safe location for me to be and to be out of reach from the serpents." Said Alyssa while she sighed heavily and she brushed some hair from her face. The wolf pup growled low while he followed the two and he looked around slightly in a curious but cautious manner.
 
"Well you are probably right, do you really think the serpents are still after us? I guess he is after what you transformed into, but he seemed rather curious about you at first. At least from what I saw...then again he stabbed me just to show how I influence you..." He sighed and looked down, it felt bad to be somehow just a tool to her.
"Lets just get back I guess"
Jack glanced at the puppy, it seemed scared, but his mood was too dark right now to approach it, it would probably bite him again anyways.
 
"They either want me for something or they want me dead, since i am the one thing standing in their way and with you at my side, im a, even bigger threat." She said.
Once they entered the gates to the keep, four officers approached them and two of then grabbed Alyssa by the arms while the other two tried to do the same with Jack. Alyssa flinched and she tried to struggle free. "Let go of me!" She snarled and then looked forward as she heard footsteps and then saw Landro approaching them.
 
Jack took a step back and pushed the men away "Let her go to! We came here, we don't need to be held as enemies!" He spoke annoyed and tried to avoid them, before he then got caught by them and saw Landro approach them, he wasn't sure what to expect from him, he lost a lot of his faith in the order, partially because of what he heard from the leader of the serpents.
"Landro, I got her back! What is there to complain about?"
 
"You disobeyed orders, twice. You went outside of the keep despite the warnings. You have forced my hand to treat you as such." Said Landro with an emotionless voice bur it was clear that he didn't like what he was forced to do. "Lock Alyssa within the tower of the keep, she is not to leave it without my permission and she is not allowed visitors unless they are approved by me." He then said before he turned towards Jack. "And as for Jack. Escort him to his room." Sais Landro before he turned and walked into the Council Room. "What?! No! You can't do this! Landro!" Shouted Alyssa as she was being dragged towards the tower.
 
"Landro! She is losing a lot of her power if you lock us seperately, if you want to lock her there, put me there two! But don't sepperate us! That would be foolish!" He spole rather calm compared to his usual tone. Jack couldn't be sepperated from her, she would be weaker, but he also wanted to be with her no matter what.
"Landro I beg you, don't do this."
 
"Not another word from you, Jack! You have been in the Order for longer than she has, you should have known the consequences of your actions." Landro said as he turned to look at Jack before he shut the door to his office.

Alyssa was locked in the tower and a choker was placed around her neck, a chain was attached to it and it allowed her enough freedom to walk around in the room, but she was barely able to approach the window. As the officers left the room, Alyssa sat down on her knees on the floor and she frowned sadly. She tries using a spell to unlock the choker, but not only did it act as a collar, but as well to disable her spellcasting.
 
Jack looked annoyed as he was escorted to his room, hell he was pissed and he wouldn't just give up, after all they just took Alyssa away from him!
"Damn it! As if they could just do that, she is not safe without me!" He started to calm himself down by walking through the room, he decided to talk to Landro and no one would stop him, he stormed out leaving the guards behind him, not even caring about them.
Jack stormed into Landros office, he never did that, before Alyssa appeared he was always obedient.
"Landro, I can not leave her alone, I don't even need to argue about this, you either let me get to her and protect her of I will make my way there!"
 
"Do not take me for a fool, Jack. I know very well that her magic becomes stronger when she is around you which is the precise reason why I must keep you apart. The stronger she gets, the harder it will be for her to control her magic when she does not even know the basics." Said Landro as he narrowed his eyes and he stood up. "If you try and get to her, I will personally execute you where you stand." He then said. "You may have noticed by now that she could transform into a Dragon. That is what she is, she is a Dragon. A Dragon's power is strengthened by her rider, namely you. In order to protect you both from the serpents, you must be kept apart. If her magic grows stronger when she cannot control it, she will go mad." He explained while he frowned and he clenched his hands slightly behind his back. "Now leave."
 
Jack looked at him in shock when he told him about killing him, this couldn't be what he just said. "You can't be serious! You couldn't just attempt to kill me for wanting to be with the person that means most to me!" he was quickly silenced by what Landro continued to say, he went pale at that, he was a Rider and she a dragon? How would that even be possible? "I-I can't be a rider...you must be wrong..." this fact was something he didn't even consider, maybe the only reason he met her really was that he was a rider and he just believed her wanted to keep her safe because of that. "I...I want to be with her, I will do whatever you want from me Landro, just tell me a way how I can be with her...if I really am a dragon rider and she is supposed to be my dragon, I wish to talk to her."
