If there were any real difference it would be that it dealt more with the actual concept of frost, like ice crystals, radiation frost, and frozen water vapor. This would make the ice a bit more swift when in use and the density can come from compact frost or permafrost if you wanted there to be any real distinguishing factors
 
Ok, We can say that the name of the fruit changed over time as they researched it, and then we won't have to worry about any confusion there and you get the fruit as is :)

As for the Haki, I think you're thinking of armament haki.
Conqueror's Haki can not be learned. You're either born with it or not (and even then it's a one in a million chance) :) The training Luffy went through was to learn control.

Akuma - Hey, your character ate a devil fruit! He can't swim that's the condition of gaining the devil fruit powers. Water over his head would have put him in a state of paralysis. So unless you're trying to say he hasn't eaten the fruit yet . . . I'll let it slide this time, but don't do it again.

Anyway, Matvey and I were talking about ways for Brito to be able to switch sides from the marines to the pirates and we came up with the following idea. However, it's going to need cooperation from everyone in order to work so I would like to present it to you all and see what you think.
The idea is this:

  • Writing Owl's character, Lorelei, as a fishman, presents an easy target for bullying. We're thinking that some marines cause a problem for her and Brito puts a stop to it.
  • Emrik and his crew would be sneaking around town trying to get supplies, see the whole thing, and be somewhat impressed.
  • Later Brito's troops are going to get drunk enough to cause problems for the village as well. Brito will put a stop to it and anyone who wants to can get involved to help. However, Brito is going to beat up her own troops at this point (as stated in her char sheet).
  • After Brito beats up her troops we were thinking that Nova's character, Caim, could arrest her and cart her off to Base 13's prison.
  • At this point Emrik would decide he wants Brito on his crew and ask anyone available to help him plan a prison break.
  • Hopefully this gets all the characters involved in someway.
  • After the prison break those characters who wanted to could join his crew.
What do you all think?

Right now, the base 13 is under attack by two teams. I don't have in mind who belongs to which team, but while one team distracts the marine forces, the other one currently works on getting into the prison and free Brito.
can anyone else go into more detail? It's a bit late here.

There... Ignore my previous post and see if this will do.

The Black Moon Pirates were just offshore of an island called Sabaku, a desert island home to Marine Base 13. Knowing the risk, they set for port to pick up supplies. Hiding the ship by some rocks, some of the crew, including the Captain comes ashore and head towards the town there. Several others arrive to the island as well or were already there that are and may be a part of the Black Moon Pirates.

Meanwhile, with the Marines, Captain Barabara Brito visited the local Inn, bearing news of a pirate ship coming to port, aware it was belonging to the Black Moon Pirates, where their Captain, Roald D. Emrik and parts of his crew had bounties on their heads, Emrik's being 28 mil Beri. Within the inn, she finds Commander Caim, who was on a day off enjoying himself. Lieutenant Reimu Kairo isalso seen to be in the Inn, doing her own business as a Doctor. After they converse, Brito leaves the inn in search of her squad and finds the drunken rabble harassing a fishwoman, Lorelei, someone not local to the island either. Angered by their conduct and threats to kill Lorelei, Brito lashes out at the marine responsible by cutting her sword across his chest, which ensues a scene. By that point, Commander Caim and Lieutenant Kairo had been alerted within the Inn and exit to bear witness Brito's assault.

Unhappy about this, Caim intervenes to prevent further harm and gets between Brito and the marine that was struck. This is where he proclaims to have her under arrest for assaulting a fellow marine with possible fatal intent. Coming quietly, Brito agrees and they are all escorted back to Base 13, several people witnessing the event, including plenty of the Black Moons and others.

With a time lapse here and there, Rear Admiral Dalton Margaret orders Brito to be executed by dawn, instead of having just a few weeks incarceration. the Black Moons debate now a plan to possibly free this now captive Marine Captain and find themselves with plenty of volunteers among the crowds, who most had a respect for Captain Brito, for she was few who they didn't fear like most Marines would instill just by being mentioned.

Ezekiel Mourne... The more I look at it, the more it reminds me of a character I knew back in my Garry's Mod days on a Serious RP server I frequented almost daily, taking the name of Zeke Mourne usually.
 
Alrighty, if it's all the same I think I'd like to be the first Captain to encounter the Pirates, in particular the Decoy crew consisting of @Akuma, @Yaoi Master Gavin, and @Kiondrick. That way we can make things interesting.
 
We're not the decoy crew. We're headed for tower A. The decoy has Doc Brown and the fishy.
 
Ah, sorry about that. Either way I think a good fight is in order.
 
Show up if you want Frosty. We've a storm brewing where you're at and the chakrams are gonna fly.
 
lol im going to have to split for the group i am in anyways since they are headed to a tower and im on destract team so lets see what we can do
 
Yeah I wondered why you came in with our group. I had thought you were on the decoy team.
