Cupie

The response she received from her question had taken her aback a bit, but she knew it was what she should have expected. She
did just hit someone who was obviously on a date with her quirk. That person being the blind girl in their class... Wait, she was blind! How did her quirk manage to affect her?! Because of the bird or something? This was interesting, but not the time to ponder on this shit.
"Oi, I didn't even fuckin' know she could be affected." Cupie commented, then readied her thoughts to answer his next questions.
"Look, I'm sorry I hit your girlfriend with my quirk. It's a gas that makes you fall in love; with who, it varies. She happened to fall in love with Elsa. Now, the quirk will wear off in 10 minutes, then she'll be freaking out about why she did the things she did. Probably run up and apologize to you, considering how she is."
At his suggestion of taking Octavia out of the room, she sighed.
"You can try but she will fuckin' fight you to be with him right now. Like you would if someone was kidnapping you from your room. Just leave her alone, let her deal with the aftermath, and let her ruin any possibilities of her dating Elsa, alright?"

Masaru's little conversation with Ayame had been interrupted, by the sound of a shriek muffled by all the rest of the noise followed by something plopping down next to him. A bird? He recognized the bird as Fosc, dressed in his own little apparel and staring at him. Raising a brow, he wondered what the bird was doing here given Octavia's necessity for his eyes.
Soon enough, Octavia had appeared from the masses and asking for a dance. Glancing at Ayame, he didn't want to just ditch her at the drop of the hat, but it more seemed like he was the one keeping her tied to the table anyway.
"I'll see you later then, Ayame," Masaru said, pushing himself up. "I don't really mind but… you aren't here with someone?"
Octavia felt an immense amount of giddiness, her heart pounding against her chest as the desire to be closer to Masaru overwhelmed her logical thinking. She didn't know why, but, Masaru was the only person she could see herself being with now and in the future.
"Thank you, dear." She smiled. At his question, she nodded a bit. "Yes, but I'm certain he won't mind if I dance with another person. He's also free to dance with whoever he wants."
Octavia took Masaru's hand and led him to the dance floor, taking place wherever they had enough room. "Do you know how to slow dance, dear?"
Blushing lightly as his hand was taken and he was led away. Masaru wasn't sure what brought on this interest to dance with him, but Cupie had asked for one earlier, so maybe she was just making the rounds as well. He wasn't sure how to take being called dear though.
"I can manage that much at least… as long as you don't expect anything fancy," Masaru replied, internally thanking that a slow dance was all she wanted. Extending his right hand for her to take, a slow dance was probably the extent of what he could do. "So, you've been having fun then?"
"Darling, I don't expect you to be a professional."
Fosc flew over the crowd and onto Octavia's shoulder, watching Masaru. Octavia would take Masaru's hands, but instead put them on her waist with her own arms wrapped around Masaru's neck. "I hope you don't mind being a little close, darling~"
At his question, she smiled. "Yes, tonight has been fun but… Being here with you has made it feel complete." Her hands moved to gently cup Masaru's face. "Such a lovely, handsome face; befitting an even lovelier man~"
"Good… Dancing was never apart of-Darling?" Masaru repeated, obviously confused.
Perhaps it was nothing. Dear and darling weren't necessarily special. Perhaps she was just talking classy for some reason. However, as she repositioned his hand for a closer form of dance, Masaru's confused expression was only accented by an increasing blush on his face.
"I-I guess not…" Masaru replied, not minding the proximity but definitely being far too aware of it. Octavia's choice of dress and how it accentuated her didn't help the matter, and what certainly didn't help was where her hands were now.
This was becoming increasingly weird-And familiar. It was starting to make some sense, even in his flustered senses. The scream from earlier. Fosc. Now Octavia and her phrasing. He was getting flashbacks of Ichirou.
"U-Um… O-Octavia…" Masaru began, though he knew that as with Ichirou, this would be on a timer and not just require some explaining. Furthermore, there was the added difficulty of trying to talk sense into the girl without looking down.
"Yes my dear?" Octavia inquired, "Please say your mind, so that I may continue hearing your lovely voice."
Her thumb very gently traced over Masaru's bottom lip, "So that I may watch these lips move… Or has a cat gotten your tongue?"
Octavia giggled, redirecting his gaze back down towards her, "It's alright my dear. This moment needn't any words so long as I can admire your eyes, and enjoy being in your embrace."
With a smile, her hands slid lower to Masaru's torso, hugging him close as her head rested against his chest.
She hummed softly after a moment of falling silent, "Your heartbeat is music to my ears Masaru... It lets you live another day to enjoy happiness, and seeing you smile is a very precious gift to me~"
Masaru instinctively swallowed some of his saliva. He knew Cupie's quirk was potent and could differ depending on the person, but Octavia was really, really close—and touchy. The poetry she spat out didn't aid his composure in the slightest either. As a result, rather than continue his train of thought, a mere half of a stutter managed to me muttered, followed by stunned silence.
"U-I-I…" Pausing, Masaru attempted to clear his throat a bit so as to get something out. "I-I don't think this is really you… Octavia…"
"Hmm?" Octavia looked back up at him, "You don't think my love is true? You wound me, Masaru…" She pouted at him, her hands moved up to Masaru's cheeks again as she smiled. "But I know how to prove it~"
She pulled him in closer, Octavia closing the gap between them until their lips pressed together in a passionate kiss. The emotions that the crow girl was feeling at this moment poured into the kiss, Octavia trying to show Masaru just how much she loved him.
She would pull away for only a second for a breath, briefly coming in again to pepper quick kisses to Masaru's lips. Once finished, Octavia would then pull back a bit with a light blush on her cheeks. "Mmn~ Proof enough?"
"It's-" Struggling to find words to explain to the woman, Masaru froze at her declaration, flashbacks of the first time he saw Cupie's quirk used. Ichirou. How that ended—Was she?
She was.
Completely powerless at the girl's advances, it didn't take much effort to pull in the stunned Masaru to the kiss. Lips pressing against hers in an admittedly pleasant sensation, if not overwhelming, if the boy wasn't "defeated" before, he certainly was now. Unlike with Ichirou, his response wasn't filled with aversion and stunned irritation, but rather he almost seemed to melt into act, albeit he still appeared quite rigid at the abruptness of the action.
Parting his lips to retort, Masaru could somehow not persuade his voice to come out, not even in the form of the stuttering mess of before. Like before, he was stunned, however this time anger and annoyance had no part of it, and his cheeks were likely far more red than what was normal.
Octavia giggled seeing how unresponsive Masaru seemed to have begun. She licked her lips a few times to savor the taste of the kiss. "I think I got my point across, hm?"
She planted a single kiss to his lips again. "Have I gone overboard with the proof? I just wanted to show you how much I love you, darling. How much I'd rather be right here with you than anywhere else~" Octavia had him look down at her again. "Or… Could it be that this was your
first kiss? Perhaps the first time a woman showed you affection like I just did? Do you not know how to respond to a girl's romantic advances, dear?"
"Uh…" Still struggling to collect his thoughts, or even voice a response, Masaru was caught off guard by yet another kiss.
However, while he was having trouble registering Octavia's words, he did catch the meanings with some delay. Gaining a slight scowl, it seemed he could muster the ability to retort if he felt he was being teased at least. Though, it probably wasn't a good thing that the train was so derailed at this point that he wasn't thinking about Cupie's quirk driving the conversation.
"S-So what if it was?" He questioned, still attempting to keep his gaze leveled despite prodding to do otherwise.
Octavia smiled, the blush on her cheeks still a bit prominent. "Then that makes this moment much more special~ Don't fret, I can teach you anything you need to know. I'd be happy to taste your lips as many times as necessary until you have enough experience kissing me~"
She giggled and leaned in a little closer. "Would you like that, darling? Lip kiss, Angel kiss, or maybe a French kiss if you're daring. I'd be happy to teach you what I know~ If you come a little closer, we can start right now."
"I-I don't know if that's…" Masaru tried to reply, though he still fairly at a loss of how to do so.
Even Airi for as much as he was teased never went this far. As for Ichirou, well, he was Ichirou—And a guy. That went without saying. However, Octavia had kissed him and even now the sensation lingered, not that she gave it much time to. Regardless, this still wasn't right. Even if it was only for ten minutes, he couldn't just let things escalate to this extent.
"W-We should take a break or-Dance! Right! We should just… uh… dance for a little bit and… enjoy each other's company… for a few minutes…!" Laughing a bit nervously, this was then disrupted by her insistence on closing the proximity between them paired with an offer of tutoring. "L-Like I said-Wait, what the hell is an angel kiss?"
Octavia pouted, but she nodded a few times in agreement. "Yes. So long as I can stay in your arms, I will be happy to just dance with you." She responded to him, though then he asked about the angel kiss and her smile widened. "I'll need you to close your eyes for a second~"
When he did, reluctant or not, Octavia would pull him in closer. Her lips would gently kiss his eyelid, then let him pull away.
"That kiss indicates deep affection for a person, usually used to wake up someone in the morning~ Do you think I'll be able to give you a proper angel kiss one day? As per its usual usage?" She asked him, a hopeful look in her eyes as she asked him.
Breathing out a sigh in relief, that feeling of relative safety wasn't long-lasting as his inquiry was met with another demonstration. Closing his eyes with some hesitation, the next kiss was thankfully not as involved as the others, however it was the question that followed that presented another minefield.
"I-I… uh…" Frozen once again, Masaru debated with himself the proper response.
He knew she was under Cupie's quirk, but still, he didn't want to reject her, even if it was over a ten minute scene. However, he couldn't very well accept either, could he? Even if he wanted that—Wait, did he?
How long was ten minutes going to last!?
"U-Uh… ask me again in five minutes… if you still want…" Masaru murmured, glancing around for a clock to tell him time was almost up. This would be a lot simpler if she wasn't under some quirk's effect.
Octavia pouted at him again, "Oh, you're cruel Masaru. Teasing me like this…"
Her hands went to cup his face again as he was looking around, making him face her again. "I know how you can apologize~"
With that Octavia wrapped her arms around him and pulled him in closer, pressing his lips against her's in a lingering and amorous kiss. However, after a moment of her kissing him, her passionate lip movements suddenly stopped and Octavia's body became stiff.
"Mmph?!"
Octavia pulled herself away, Fosc getting a good look of what had just happened and with who. Her face flushed pure red, the shock of the situation fully registering.
"I-I'm so sorry Masaru! I-I didn't… I don't… I wasn't... " Octavia stumbled over her words, but her eyes soon widened at the realization of something. "K'!"
She quickly turned around, pushing through the group of people to try and find her date, leaving Masaru alone.
