It looked as though most of his classmates were really excited to finally get their suits, even though it did amuse him to see their excitement he didn't really care for his own special outfit, the only reason he had one was that it protected him from attacks and would be impractical without it. He let the others run and ravage the room for their specific box before he walked over and picked up his with his name specified on the top/

Heisuke waited inside the stall after changing, the suit seemed to be a perfect fit, it didn't feel too tight yet it still gave enough room to move without any stiffness, it was quite perfect, still, it made him a little anxious having that many eyes on him for his own introduction, his least favorite part. After hyping himself up to leave the stall he noticed a few had already done their introductions but seeing Isamu starting his introduction made him cease it, he was quite confident in himself and a sense of excitement radiated off of him, making Heisuke smile.

Realizing he was next, his smile faded into a serious and stern look, leaving his hands in his pockets to not sound like he was really excited. "Call me Psykey, though I still stand by that these names are a little ridiculous." Heisuke didn't want to lose that serious persona he had but he did genuinely like his hero name, it was one Isamu brainstormed when he once told him he didn't have a name chosen.

Over the past few days, Adelaide had been giving everything around her some thought, after what happened with her father and the villainess, her journey seemed cloudy and nothing really made sense. She had even blocked off all of her friends, not even talking to Kaori since everything had happened, she needed this time to think to herself and who she wanted to become.

Checking back into reality, Adelaide saw everyone move from their positions and walking over to a bunch of boxes pilled up and moving over to the stalls, she just wished she was back at her dorm and rest. Shuffling through the boxes carefully, she came upon one with her named marked on it, with all that time daydreaming Adelaide didn't hear what they were even doing with these, so she followed what everyone else was and did the same.

Adelaide made sure not to leave the door unlocked as she went in her stall to avoid any unnecessary embarrassment and after carefully opening the folds holding it shut, she peered in to see her outfit she originally helped make, it looked great and even better than her original idea, it matched her personality and style in every way, at least the part that wasn't overtaken by her mother.

She casually stepped outside the stall and made her way to the rest of the class, her posture and arms held in a timid manner. "Tremor...here!" She tried to put the smallest of excitement into the last part of speaking, though the things going on inside her mind were holding her back.

THREE DAYS LATER NIGHT TIME

Fuchu Prison, Tokyo Japan

Smiling thinly, the operation had went off better than expected to some degree as Nina changes into a SWAT uniform, as Mauve was forced into another with a mask and visor, hiding her jellyfish features mumbling about tight clothing. A squad car had already been acquired and the fate of its previous occupants was a question mark.

Smiling thinly, Nina pulls in with the Convoy, the others in the Van could hear her voice from beyond the wired mesh gate.

"Car 54 reporting to duty. Sorry we're late, we had a flat. Taking them to Fuchu yes?"

"Affirmative Car 54 you're the containment unit, right? We aren't exactly kitted for this, just fell in our laps."

"Roger that, they'll all be seen inside the prison by us. We'll take the Kid to the Children's Prison next."

Inside the four would be taken into processing as Nina turns off the Camera. "I'm going to give them some personal questioning, they took kids hostage, don't worry, lots of stairs in here, least you wanna try and stop me and my friend here." She says over the voice comm as the other guards take off in one of Japan's most Infamous Prisons.

"Well then, shall I go over the plan?" She says, taking off her helmet. "We might need to change the plan a little however.." Eying Aimi briefly and then Aiko, she smiles thinly.

Mauve herself hummed lightly as she cleared the view to make sure no one snuck up on them. When it was confirmed clear she sung by a little toon smiling underneath her visor in equal equality to Nina.

"Rest easy, you all, us included will have to stay here three days however. My intent was not to simply free you all.. But rather you 'all'. All 30k Prisoners in Fuchu Prison, a good chunk of the Japanese prisoner population.

The task is rather simple, I want you to act as you normally would, but take note of all you see and can provoke, learn who the movers and shakers are, the responses of the guards, I'll take care of the camera's and automated defences. Aiko could help with this, if we all agree to allow it, and most importantly, while many of the Yakuza are scattered in prisons across the country, the head leaders are here, including the so called Golden Empress. I have a message for her, a sealed message to gain her group's co-operation. One of you that can be trusted or I, myself will deliver it to her unopened. Be on your best behavior around her, she holds power here.

Then on the third day we shall cast wide and open up the gates of hell.. You'll get more details on the morning of the third day, for now I'll come around to beat on some of you from time to time, purely to gather information. Any questions?"

"An added note to Miss Nina's words there is supposedly another two rare gems locked up here. In the actual architecture blueprints there is suggested a rumored hidden basement level that they are stored in to keep their quirks from… reaching out above. I'll be concentrating on finding them, and gaining access to this rumored floor. So please don't make me waste my time coming back for any of you. Getting yourselves into foolish endeavors means your times up for your use. Piss off miss Golden Empress, and well your puddled dead corpse will be used to help start the eventual chaos so to speak," Mauve lovingly threatened her murderous aura easily still felt even without her face in view. Even now her posture gave enough reason to believe now was not the time to give her troubles with them so close to their next objective.

"However if any of you hear anything on the names Psychotris, or Muramiasma you will note it to Nina who will deliver your message to me. If we can ruffle up miss yakuza's feather in a good manner we might even get an answer from her on them… seeing how she's been here the longest," Mauve finished relieving the reigns back to Nina as Mauve added in whisper that only Nina would hear.

"Make sure we are one less of flock before we fly little assassin," Mauve hummed gently giving the girl her space as she waited to see what else her new favorite coworker would do.

"Sounds good to me… This isn't my first time to a prison, nor figuring out how it ticks… I can get you all the information you need, easy," Kiyoshi replied with an amused hum. "Though I'm a bit curious as to these rare gems… Either way, escaping shouldn't be too much issue… Starting a riot is pretty fun and I know just how to do it… The cops and heroes will be too overwhelmed to be able to focus on specific targets, and that's assuming there aren't people in the crowd as dangerous as we are…"

Chuckling a bit, Kiyoshi would remark one more thing in jest. "..Just please be gentle Mauve-chan."

"Oh I can assure you, dangerous things are indeed here.. Psychotris.. Her I know a little of either way we should split up for now, Inoue?"

"Hmm? Ah yes, Aiko can help you, just be sure to keep her out of the way, or it's your head I'll take." The Fox woman says with a smile, before laughing lightly. "They don't think I can make fire without my arms free, how wrong they are, for that soon they shall see."

"Well then the lot of you, get up, time for processing." Nina says at last with a baton in her hand, unless the rest had further questions?

Not being met with any it was three days later, as Nina meets with Mauve in the break room, having pulled in Inoue for 'questioning'. "We have what we need to make the break now and a few Villains of note are here."

"I found Psychotris poor child. She been flooded with chemicals though she won't be much use on the escape initial, I may be able to roughly jump start her conscious, but it's not wise no telling how a creature of her nature will react off the bat," Mauve annotated having slithered through many a pipe until she found on be of her pretty little gems.

"And the Empress how has that gone," the slime jelly woman asked.

"She is agreeable to the terms I provided, she and hers will be busy for some time. I must say I am a bit impressed. She didn't have the Prison Oranges like most, nor could I pull her aside for questioning, then again 5 thousand Yakuza are in these halls at the least. The word is being quietly spread and I silenced two moles, we'll also hold off on awakening the mental case. If you would like I'll explain the basics of the operation?"

"Agreed. Alright law down the laws angel of escape'" Mauve motioned for Nina to explain with a nod of her stolen prison guardhat.

"Hmm, we'll be going our separate ways here, I have some Data to upload with the prison alert and I need to borrow a Technomancer I found to scramble the response system. We need to get more people out than people they can stop. Your mission well be to head into S block and spread acide to all four of the central control boxes, located here, here and here."

She highlights a few areas on a map, then continues.

"Do not Stick around, the top 100 most Dangerous are here, including the one you needed. Snatch her and leave. Some of them may come with us, some may do their own thing or even stay there. I don't personally care what they do, but some of them are as likely to try killing you as they are to say hello.

Aiko will be doing something a bit like you in C and B Block. I'll be unlatching one in A block, after that the Golden Empress will be left to her own devices with her Yakuza friends. In short, confusion and speed, We want to escape, not take and hold, towards those ends, I've had a few meetings with our three, well four friends. They'll be blasting us a hole out of the three layers of wall. Outside a convoy of Armored Trucks should be waiting for us, we take those, vanish into a parking deck and vanish into the streets. All in all I give us 15 minutes before a serious response can be mustered."

"Heh sounds like a fun time might even get some fun with the guards. Once I grab Psychotris I'll be mad dashing for the trucks I'll need to keep her properly flooded until I can wake her up appropriately," Mauve explained.

"As for Muramiasma I found him… he's behind solid metal though so getting him out will slow me down. Any suggestions… oh and expect massive gun fire from turrets,"she hummed a few few tentacles typing on Nina's map purging out underground turrets.

"As I said, break out the other S ranks, they'll make it out or they won't. Muramiasma might be impressive but there are other things in there just as much so. I didn't come in here but with enough materials to bring down the wall. Maybe the Yakuza could help you."

She adds in before looking over with a shrug. "Well shall we start?"

With a mutual nod the plan was put in motion, almost like clock work with an improvisation here and there to fill in the troubled spots. Soon alarms would blare through the prison as what seemed to be a riot grew worse and worse, with marches and counter marches being ordered the guards seemed to soon take up a spot in the Administrative wing to hold the line, with all things an S class criminal holding the line with them a fuel rod cannon on her arm and a ditzy personality, a blast from the past if the younger UA Students would have been there to see her, Allo would be most proud.

However the situation was well and truly out of control, nutcases, psychopaths, Yakuza, Serial killers and petty thugs with no issuesof using quirk powers were now on the loose... And what took years of efforts to arrest them was undone in a finger snap... As if to give truth to that statement a fox looking woman in orange prison jumpers was seen snapping her fingers as all three exterior walls came crashing down at the north east corner, the guard tower being lost to the rubble and dust.

Suddenly thousands of prisoners were unleashed upon an unexpecting Japan, a public not used to this level of disruption, the most important of him were taken in armored cars and ushered off to a parkin garage, vanishing into the wild blue yonder, as an angry public demanded answers another hammer struck it's blow upon the hot steel of public opinion laying upon the Anvil called Japan;

Kaori's battle and the words exchanged with Nina, data on Adelaide, the situation and results of the battles, the dependence upon the children and too little too late response from the UA Teachers. But if only that were all, Kaz had his past blown up on display, details behind the dead former members of the top 10, Misoka's dealings with the Government and local political leaders, Amaris and her eccentricates, rumors largely given life, Takagi and her attacks upon criminals, borderline vigilantism . Then it turned into rumors and grievances, more and more prisons were being attacked in the wake of this and false rumors as well..

The Public Will loved it's toys and heroes when it wasn't in their yard, they loved the battles and fights when they stuck to fighting other outcasts, those with quirks often looked down upon the quirkless, now they were looked down upon by those with actually useful quirks. And all in all the public temper raged, Misoka never liked by the Establishment was now in hot water, while Local Political parties and the rural folks came to love her, seeing the 'People's Hero" as truly that causing the bigwigs to hate her all the more. Kaz found his sponsors doubling down or pulling out and knee jerk reactions would see the Stocks in Surge Alloy's business in free fall.. If only it would end on one day..

TWO MORE DAYS LATER - MORNING

UA Dorms 1A - UA Student Council Meeting Headmaster's Office.

Keying on the TV Ayame flips through the channels, it was the same thing, two days and the same thing, heroes this, heroes that. How so and so was bad, how so and so wanted a work of generations done over night, so selfish, so too faced, there was even an interview with a man known as C. Orksen, Shizui's 'dad' and some sort of wrestler by the name Kabuki Joe, so called experts who seemed only to judge the "younger" generations and how in their day this would never happen, when in their day they had no such problems. The Political talks were even worse, slow and unchanging reciting rules and laws that were made for a quirkless world. Angry Ayame hurls the remote into the TV, it shuts off as the screen flickers, the screen still intact. If it broke or not she wasn't sure not cared, watching this was depressing... Still she had a duty to do, for now it was time to head on up to the Student Council meeting, they seemed angry with 1A more so than usual...

Entering the Office the Principle seemed rather... upset...

Following the previous days, Society and the School was in an uproar, furrowing his brow, it was over the most stupid shit Gregori had heard or seen in his 60 odd years of life.

"We need more heroes out there and you all are refusing to participate alongside Class 1A? Most of these reasons are petty from Sexual conduct to the Music room being taken up by elements of that class mostly… Do any of you offer a solution?" Gregori asks, looking over the other teachers.

"We cannot have one class go and all the rest not, and we can't keep out our most promising for a few others."

Yumi looked at him blankly, watching him quietly as the frustration of Class 1B's message. She was one of the newer teachers to the academy; the youngest Pro Hero in all of UA's history to graduate who seemed to come from nowhere. Yumi's entire background was a mystery, as was her track record as a Hero. The only absolute thing they had was that she was a Pro Hero.

She had originally been offered a substitute position for Class 1A, but she rejected it for a full time spot teaching Class 1B. Yumi believed that Class 1A was receiving far more attention than they deserved. Why did they get the privilege of having 3 Pro Heroes teach them when a just as capable class was right next door?

The young woman watched Gregori; studying him. The aura of his body was disturbed. Negativity. His soul's flow, disrupted. His Chakra, distressed. The peace of his mind and spirit, tarnished from the simplicity of her words. Yumi had spoken what her dear students demanded, and yet, it would seem that he was not looking past the mask her darling children set before them.

"Brother Gregori…" Yumi spoke up, "Let us travel to the land beyond the Doors of Perception; peek into the facade that I have seen. The carnal desires, the room of song's constant inhabitants; excuses. Class 1B's spirit, a fragile glass, shattered and rotten from negligence. Pale and malnourished in 1A's shadow. The tigers are starving, but the world continues to feed the lions."

The young woman seemed to be humming to herself. "Please, open your heart and let my words guide you to a solution. A challenge is what they seek. A war for the right to their Hero licenses so to say. Why should the wrestler receive his champion belt if he has a worthy opponent ready to stop him?"

"What.." Gregori paused briefly to pick apart her works as he turns to Neptunia, as the pieces it together bit by bit.

"Hmm.. I can't say you are wrong I myself did not like this all, but as you can see the cause to worry was correct, however a fight with them alone will not quell the Student Body and the HA will likely not take it as a sanctioned fight so much as a grudge match. Neptunia and Student Council what say you?"

Ayama was not about to speak up in this case as a senior in what seemed to be ancient scale armor stands up.

"Hai, I think this is a good idea but 1B isn't enough, we seniors just don't like them as they are a bunch of upstarts, so I propose a few of us join in, waiting at the end, all of us got the license, what few of us are left... so if they impress we can just pass em, everyone else goes off to the normal one."

"I would concur, but let's make use of the old stage. With these numbers of 1B and the third years we can make an eight wheel maze, only by defeating the enemies down one spoke can they collect the keycard to unlock the center. Though as some may fail we can make it a set number, one senior will join the others to even numbers and one or two will be the final boss waiting behind the wall. They need but only impress the testers or beat them to win."

"Very Good. Ayame go get you Comrades, the field will be ready by the time you are out there. Go now. The Details will be explained, we need more hands out there before this situation gets worse."

With a nod and a panicked look, Ayame flees the room rounding up the rest before the morning routines took them too far.

~~~~~
Gathering the rest by whatever means, the situation is explained, from the license test being moved up a year, to Misoka being placed on Administrative leave, then it was to the main event, the stages.
"Given the sheer number of fighters, lack of time and space, we have decided to host a special contest for you all with the left over concept of the field study. Around you is eight spokes of a 'wheel' so to speak. With a central room being at the well, center of course. Long story short. Incapacitation or restraining your foe at the end of each room is the only wat to advance. Some of you will likely be beaten, but only a few need to clear it. If some of you pass you all pass. Before the battles are your normal obsticals, maybe saving a civilian or two. Once you have, or if you have passed a key will be waiting in the exit halls, take it to the central room, a pedestal will be there imprint the keys, only half of you need to make it through.."
Letting that all sink in he continues;
"Once the keys are in the central room will open, beat or impress the final boss to pass. I do warn you, they are our strongest Senior, do not underestimate them or you will not survive. Questions? No, good." He says without giving a chance for any to be asked...
"Head to your rooms, they each have one elemental aspect, now listen for the callout and begin as soon as possible."
Soon a screen would popup on the arena central screen, much like before during the sports festival a list of names that would be read alloud with a final word;
"Make sure to call out your hero names when you confront the enemy, they will do the same. Ah and to note a bit belatedly some of you will have a three on three to deal with the uneven numbers. This was a last minute discrepancy found by further review. Now listen up!"
Room 1 - Amaris Alucard & Adelaide Bouche
Room 2 - Ichirou Mizushima & K Sanada
Room 3 - Yosuke Yubiki & Jet Monsera
Room 4 - Cupie Sakurako & Killian Eisenschmied
Room 5 - Masaru Takeshi & Isamu Yukimura
Room 6 - Aurora Tamoyo, Shunsuke Saito & Heisuke Hamada
Room 7 - Ayame Daichi & Octacia Daulfern
Room 8 - Charlotte Chevalier, Kanna Tanaka & Shizui Kotegawa
"Upon entering the room, clear the obstacles to the end, beat or be beaten by your foes, collect the key card from one of them and insert it into the central keylock. Only a few of you need make it. There you need to capture the flag from the final boss, then you all pass or fail."
Upon entering the rooms a series of trials would await the dou's and trios of this event, leading finally to an open space the size of the old arena's. There would be no peaceful knock out this time, only an electrified field, an instant KO. The old man was clear. Knock out or capture.
Amaris and Adelaide would finish their trails coming into an open field with snow and ice, a frozen pond with a whale carcass;
1581889577951.png
Ichirou and K would do much the same through a sewer tunnel, popping up above ground in a ruined cityscape, punctured time to time with small fires, a desolate street their only solace;
1581889775792.png
Yosuke and Jet, having made their way through a forest and helping others, they now found themselves in need as a tree falls behind them ahead was but a cliff swept by wind and windmills, the ocean far below;
1581889933814.png
Cupie Sand Killian would be next, having made their way in a cave system they would find light and help miners along the way, only to suddenly be met with light and foes, a cave with naught by crystal and tree roots, beckoning the foolish to it's edge and distracting them from the enemy within;
1581890137222.png
Masaru and Isamu would find themselves in a dangerous position, in a subway under water as they helped trapped civilians up to the surface, a flood had swept away the streets, leaving them with a rather large swimming pool and street bridge, their opponents waiting atop it in greeting, while Masaru had the power of ice this area was no joke;
1581890502694.png
Aurora, Shunsuke and Heisuke would find themselves at an ordinary train stop, one of several scattered across rural Japan having taken the train there, one in which several problems dealing with train bandits was on hand; There enemies could be anywhere, though a muscle bound youth was in the open with his arms cross, as if daring the train to hit him....
1581891115052.png
Ayame and Octacia would help some old lady and young girls walk home through what seemed a bad Town, reaching the end the pair would be left with a feeling of unease as they started down a dark and foreboding alley, an area that would suit both combatants oddly...
1581891401912.png
Charlotte, Kanna and Shizui would lastly, but not least, discover a ruin complex after clearing their way past a trapped road, ending up in of all things the ruins of a greek temple complex, with lots of cover and elevated spots, their enemy not just yet advertising themselves..
Room 6 - Aurora Tamoyo, Shunsuke Saito & Heisuke Hamada vs Kadiri Yamabe, Korin Umeki & Hiromi Nazawa
As the train barrels along the three can only look on in awe or horror as it's breaks clamp down upon the rails, sparks skidding as the horn blows. The martial artist however stands his ground, arms crossed as he stands all eagle eyed, watching it.
Suddenly he extends his hand and forms a large metallic glove, smashing it into the train, he is pushed back bit by bit… Till suddenly and without warning the train stops, opening it's doors.
"Yo! Koryukin here! I want to just see who of you can put up a good fight."
"Goddammit Korin!" Comes a voice from the platform, blowing a bubble of gum before letting it pop. "What about the plan the Prez left us?"
"I ain't got time for no plans and sneaking around isn't like us, it's time the Juniors learned from their Seniors!"
To say Shunsuke was excited about these trials was nothing short of an understatement. From the bandits, no now what appeared to be a very bold enemy, he was met with the challenges that he'd hoped for. He pounded his fist into his palm watching as the man on the tracks stood his ground. He grinned, standing his own ground as the breaks clamped down, followed by the gloved push of the man who proclaimed himself Koryukin.
"That one is mine." Shunsuke said as he immediately ran out of the train once the doors open. "Kihon Panzer is more than ready to throw down!" Without another word, Shunsuke was charging head first into battle against the seeming martial artist. This was his kind of opponent!
"I'd hate to disagree with you Gummy Drops, but I'm much more of a straightforward combatant myself,"
another voice came as Hiromi stepped forward beside the bubble gum hero. "Victory will be assured if we're able to play to our strengths," she added remarkably calm as she bounced in place, ready to move at a moment's notice, though waiting for instruction from the senior.
Heisuke was more than a little frustrated, over his time during the break he could have been studying his opponents but decided to mend some relationships that he ruined, doing the right thing rather than the best thing for himself was new to him, which gave him mixed feelings. But as the train suddenly grind to a halt, Heisuke was pulled from his concentration to a rocky stop and before he could say anything, Shunsuke was already on his way to fight his own opponent.
"Shunsuke don't have such a thick skull and think this out! Goddammit…" The other class had the head start on them, which meant that they could easily be stuck in a trap and Shunsuke running in headfirst without even questioning the circumstances irritated him.
Heisuke jumped down off the train just a few feet away from the brawl between Shunsuke and Korin, completely ignoring the two and instead scanned the area for the other attackers, knowing that the one wasn't all they were hitting the three students with. "Well I don't got all day…" His eyebrows narrowed, foot lightly tapping on the ground.
Just as quick as Shun made to bolt he was caught just as quick being tugged back to Heisuke, and Aurora who had been quick enough to catch him thankfully.
"Shun this is a three vs three match we need to work together not let egos fuel us to fight wildly. That's double for you as well Heisuke we need to fight together not separate," Aurora scolded her partners as she eyed their opponents. Just like them their senoir/Class B1 opponents were grouped together at the end of the train revealing themselves… that was a bad sign.
"We're already at a disadvantaged our quirks have been showcased, and flaunted even with, or new techniques and tools they have an idea how we fight thus we need to cooperate," Aurora spoke hoping the two would be willing to listen to reason.
"Not only are our licenses on the line but that of our classmates, this is only step one we need to be level headed," she hissed at Shun. Two girls one guy… the guy clearly was a straight forward fighter like Shun, and the other girl with the pep in step was also raring to go… she was aggressive as well. The one called Gummy Drop was reserved… she was a strategy type no doubt.
"Gummy Drops be cautious of her," Aurora whispered to her allies. Koriyukin was more likely than not a brawler from his composer. The Hiromi girl was the one up in the air though, and as much as she hated to say it the rest was going to have to be discovered via contact.
"He did want to catch the train pretty badly wouldn't you agree Heisuke," she grinned hoping he would catch on quick. Their quirks were out in the open they needed to see what these three could do before tactics could be formulated. Inhibiting her war hammer Aurora stepped away from the train being the only one that close to it. The bigger issue though was this dynamic… Shun was easily swayed by passion of battle, and Heisuke was hard to take orders from others it seemed. Aurora wasn't sure if this could work, but they needed to act fully as a team not separate or they were screwed.
"I am thinking this throoughghs--" Shunsuke was more than surprised to be pulled back, and more so to be on the receiving end of what appeared to be a lecture from Aurora. He'd trained with the Hero Titan, and it was in no small part thanks to her. But this… This was a chance to fight someone on a supposedly higher level than himself. The man was practically calling for a duel.
"There appears to be trouble in paradise Gummy Drops," Hiromi said with a small sigh. It was almost like the three didn't take the severity of the situation very seriously. Or at least one of them didn't. It would have been so easy to trap them in a barrier right then and there.
"Two women, one man. The man is a martial artist. He wants a duel. I'm willing to give him one. That leaves two for you guys to handle." He ran through the options as best he could. Maybe they could mow through a potential challenge if they just huddled together like sheep, but he didn't want to just mow through a challenge. "And I think you're forgetting, my quirk has never been showcased like the rest of the class. I wasn't in the sports festival."
Shunsuke's eyes shifted between the two. Heisuke, he didn't know much about him apart from what he'd heard. He wasn't on great terms with a great many people, the most surprising of which being Isamu. Although Isamu seemed more sad than angry. He had potential to be powerful though. Between him and Aurora, they could beat the other two. "Right, so I'm gonna go fight now. We're lucky they've even waited around for us this long."
Hiromi kicked at the ground softly. "So, do you think we can finally begin?" Hiromi asked her companion.
He didn't give either a chance to argue though. Maybe Aurora had some overly complex plan, maybe Heisuke could come up with something, but honestly, he thought after her intense battle with Ichirou at the festival, she would understand this. Whatever, he was once again charging at Koryukin. They were essentially back where they started.
"Ah… There he goes again," the girl didn't seem phased. Was she really a first year like Aurora, Shunsuke, and Heisuke.
"Hey, you! Yeah you!" He says pointing at Shun, he did indeed want a duel, or so it seemed.
"You and me, here and now. I'm not up to Villain tricks and you look strong!"
Running a thumb under his nose in an old challenging manner, he points directly at Shunsuke. "No Tricks, it's a Three on three. I don't care what the other two do, but this looks like it'll be fun, plus I gotta teach the Junior a thing or two. I'm not all about the hate on class 1A, but I want to see if they are worth all the hype. So I'm taking him on." Kuriyuken says.
"I Kuriyuken of the Iron Fist Challenge you to a Duel! The rest of you keep out of the way!" With his declaration out of the way, his finger remains pointed at Shunsuke, he was taking this seriously but not in the way it was meant, he didn't give a single damn about the mission or the goal, he wanted to match strength to strength.
Gummy Drops for her part sighs heavily, looking at the Freshman and her fellow Senior.
"Don't bother, we'll take on those other two, he can't be reasoned with when he's like this. He's one hell of a grappler though. Who you want to take on? I think I'll go for the hair, nothing like gum stuck in the hair you know.. You want to take the mentalist?"
Heisuke was damn glad Aurora was on their team, while he did consider himself to have great leadership qualities, she was much better at keeping her team focused and the other classmates seemed to trust her, Heisuke on the other hand could let his ego and impatience for others wear him thin, nobody was going to trust him if he didn't also trust them.
"These guys have most likely studied us immensely, they may want this just as much as us and we gotta show them we earned our spots fair and square." Clenching his fist he turned his head to Aurora hoping to get her input. "They want us to make the first move, It would be idiotic to run in blind, we should let them make the first attack and judge it from there."
He looked over to the girl with the hood, he still had no idea what her quirk was but he was not going to let her take him by surprise. "Everyone has a weakness, we need to see what their quirk is and their limit while not letting them exploit our own, whatever weakness you shown at the sports festival you must protect that. For all we know they have us right where they want us." His eyes locked with the girl, a smirk moved on his lips and his finger lifted in the air, motioning to her. "You two just going to sit around...or are we gonna fight."
Just as quick as she had then reeled in to work as a team she lost then just as fast to egos. Thankfully Heisuke was at least willing to stick to a team work dynamic. Thank the stars for that, but that was quickly edged by the gum girls words… so her quirk was definitely around gum.
"I see then let me tread carefully," she spoke her hair receding into her dress coat as she eyed the gum girl seemed she was targeted.
"Keep a eye on shun when you can we need to pass this together even if he wants his one on one we need to support when possible," Aurora spoke getting in front of Heisuke hammer at the ready.
"We need to stay in sync no separating," she spoke prominently pointing at both girls ahead.
"Alright let's start this."
Shunsuke grinned, stopping just out of reach of the man who he believed seemed to feel the same way as him. Screw the test, screw vendettas, it was all so trivial. "I don't know about any hype you're talkin about," he proclaimed proudly as he pounded his fist into his chest. "But I, Kihon Panzer, accept your challenge." The purple haired boy grin, a determined look in his eye as he pushed out thoughts of the others. He was more than happy to go it alone with this guy.
"Just you and me," Shun reiterated before dashing forward, throwing a heavy punch at the man's face. A simple, but quite effective attack if it connected.
Hiromi, on the other hand, couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Right right," she said softly, "I understand senpai. Then, please, allow me to have your back as I'm sure you will mine." The metal girl or the mentalist. Quite the interesting choice. While she felt more than inclined to see what she had against the big girl, she knew that wasn't for the best, at least not in this case. "I'll move in to strike. Please, watch my back."
Much like Shun had against Koryukin, Hiromi… rather, Guardian Shield dashed toward Heisuke. Even by human standards she was quick. She was eye to eye with him in the blink… well, you know the rest. "I'd worry about yourself before you worry about your classmate, or your enemy, steamroller boy~" A small smirk could be seen on her face, barely noticeable as it soon shifted to a more serious expression. Thus, as soon as she was in range though, she would begin by throwing a three hit combo: Left jab to the face, left hook to the body, and a right cross to the face again. Upon inspection it would seem the girl was a boxer. Still, she was prepared for retaliation.
In fact, she didn't doubt she wouldn't land a hit. They wouldn't go down that easy after all. She'd await some kind of retaliation at first, ready to produce a forcefield around herself at a moment's notice. This shield would reflect any attack back at the opponent. A simple, but effective start if she was correct and able to count on Gummy Drops.
Aurora, however wouldn't let Hiromi have her way completely as with a single aggressive swing Aurora caved in one of the platforms column causing the roof above to cave in halfway during off Hiromi from Heisuke. With numerous ammo now at the mentalists hands Aurora directed a sure fire spot for him to fire at both girls.
"Fire here," Aurora directed as she heavy handed lifted a piece of the roof at the two girls blocking whatever attack they may launch next giving them a chance to see the girls quirks at work. If Shun was foolish enough to break off and endanger everyone's licenses fine she couldn't stop him, but this way a two tier situation with this fight being tier one. They had to work together to pass. They had to meet up with their classmate's. She refused to let them shoulder the burden because one of their teammates wouldn't cooperate in this fight. Grasping a smaller piece of roof with her hands like a shield she pleaded mentally that Heisuke would work with her.
"Do you think I'm just going to sit her-"
Before Gummy can finish speaking, Kuriyuken has already smacked aside part of the debris that were in his way of Shunsuke, motioning him forward. "Tch all this fuss over a test. I don't care who wins here or falls. There is another test later and you are pretty conceited.. You should trust your friends. Not that it matters much, an Army waits for you at the end." With that he rushes forward as the band on his arm covers his fist, plowing it into Shun's stomach.
Gummy for herself blows two bubbles, capturing a portion of the debris near her and attaching it to another, she swings the later piece around a pole and yanks back on the other, as the two connected pieces swing and spin, round and round she snaps a finger. "Let's see how well you can hold that."
With that the gum breaks and dissolves as one piece flies off to fuck knows where and the other heads right at Aurora who was already supporting a weight.
She was fast. Much faster than she should have been, if Heisuke wasn't focused on her she could have been able to land a good attack against him. So she did watch our fights… He thought back to her words before her attack, she knew what she was up against but maybe not all that he had in store against her. Reading her mind he focused on what would be her first attacks. Left jab. He pushed his arm to block her first attack aimed at her face, hitting his forearm. Left hook. Body. Heisuke turned his body ninety degrees to dodge her second attack. Right. Across fa-. This one was much faster, he pulled his face to dodge the attack though he did feel a nice breeze of air move across his cheek.
Her reflexes were quick, even during her three hit pieces she was able to try and catch me off guard, she was good at assessing her environment and thinking fast on her feet, she no doubt trained for this event. "You're good...Not 1-A good…" A smug smile was made on his face, no doubt trying to provoke the girl into coming in for a second attack. But his focus wasn't completely on her, secretly he was ripping off the electrical lines, planning an attack to wrap her up. Now! Finally the cords ripped off the post and began hurtling towards his opponents back, if this would hit her he would try and wrap her up in it, hoping to end his fight quickly.
The metal girl had attempted to keep Hiromi from Heisuke, but it wasn't hard to get around her little deterrent. A side step here, a spin there, and a little dash until she made her way to the telepath as initially planned. He was good, reading her mind. She couldn't not think, but that made feints more difficult. Still as he spoke she couldn't help but chuckle. "Funny you should say that," she said as he narrowly avoided her final strike. "I was just gonna say the same about you."
Still, he had a plan, as did the blonde. But as the wires came for her, she activated her quirk. A forcefield indeed surrounded her like a small dome, as the wires came her way. The barrier indeed reflected the wires away, sending them toward Heisuke. She smirked, dropping the shield almost instantly. The wires had their knew trajectory. Now to follow up. Another assault. She continued her forward march. Each thought that raced through her mind would match up exactly with her movements. Head-left jab, head-left Jab, bob, body shot-left cross, circle around him, liver blow-right cross, move, move, move. It was obvious she wouldn't be staying still. But could Heisuke keep up with her movements the way he kept up with her thoughts?
Meanwhile, Shunsuke found himself in a sour situation for sure. Debris he hadn't expected on his initial charge, followed by a rant from the Senior. "Conceited?" He questioned, narrowly blocking the blow to his stomach with his right hand. With his quirk active, his defense had risen immensely. Even so, he grunted. It had more weight behind it than he'd expected. No… This was exactly as he'd expected. All the same, Shunsuke had to retaliate, and he did, throwing a powerful punch to the face. "I trust my friends completely. They can handle anything that's thrown at them," he responded with a small smirk.
Even if his first punch didn't land, he'd move in for a knee strike to the gut. "But how often does a challenge like this come along for a young martial artist?" Shunsuke was determined to meet the challenge of the man standing before him. Still, he agreed. Right now, the test was on the back burner. They were young. They had time. Why worry so much about that stuff when they could focus on growing, learning, making the most of some of the opportunities before them. Opportunities like this.
"You talk a lot of game for someone who missed every shot." Heisuke hoped that his words would distract her and it seemed he was right until the wires suddenly reflected off of her and now came aiming at him. His physical reactions were no where as fast as he was mentally but was thankfully saved by a last second change of trajectory by Heisuke's quirk, hitting the train behind him. "Nice try-" Before he could speak, his words were caught off by the girl's second attack. Quickly he began to dodge most her hits by a hair up until a hit that was aimed in his liver, causing spit to fly from his mouth.
SHIT! The only attack he could think was to get her away from him, she was too fast. Heisuke flew his elbow and pushed the girl a couple of feet away from her, hoping to change their distance. She is smart, my biggest weaknesses are my reflexes, throwing this many punches at a fast speed to catch me off guard is her best bet at winning.... I need to keep her away from me. "Nice punch but were you trying to hurt or tickle me?" Floating a pile of rocks over his hand, he aimed all of them at the girl's body but expected them to bounce off of her just like the wires did, she had some type of way of blocking attacks. But what if they had similar weaknesses? May as well test it out. Heisuke began throw more and more objects at the girl, even if it would reflect off her, he would still be able to keep his distance and stop her from reflecting them back.
"See. That's where you are wrong." Kurin says as the punch and kick land, he grabs the other by the leg at that instant and throws him. Speaking as the boy went high into the air.
"I Trust my Comrades as well! But Teamwork is more than hand holding! And Hero Business is BUSINESS. Who is your ally and friend doesn't make a damn! It matters that you learn how to work with them, ALL of them and I'm not a team player!"
With that the second piece of metal smacks right dead into Shunsuke from above. As the heap meets the ground, he doubted the boy was already out of the fight.
"So most that help me work around my foolish nature, Gummy Drop there is an ace at improvised support. Our fight is a One on One, but learn this well. Backing up your comrades in a way only you can is what we do. I'm your Focus but the world is still here."
Gummy Drops for her part simply Yawns and heads back inside the building for who knows what as the other piece still headed for Aurora, was she hiding or up to something else?
It seemed no matter what she tried the two boys were unwilling to work with her. Even when she set up strike attempts with Heisuke the boy refused to aid. As the debris came calling in Aurora hair's exited from the bottom of her coat pushing her up using her hammer like a claw hook she caught the debris piece, and redirected it right to the gummy girls position smashing a massive hole into the building.
With that the blonde girl landed on the train with her hair extended out she caught the wires that had fallen out off Heisukes control making sure they didn't land out on the conductive train tracks where Shun and his opponent were fighting. Tying down the collected wires she pushed them off onto the concrete platform away from Heisuke. She may have been in disagreement with them, but she wasn't about to let them get harmed.
"Good luck," she emotionlessly responded to Shun, and Heisuke having done her part to help keep unwarranted damages to a minimum she walked over to the hole in the building at the gum girl had taken residence with. With a step of caution Aurora observed the entrance, and its insides. Half the building had been wiped out of existence thanks to the hot potato game the two girls had played.
"You alive," she flatly called out not stupid enough to enter the structure with someone who controlled gum in it.
"Quite Well thank you." With bits of various parts of the train station she exits the building almost like some sort of Junk Mech, or Mekboi from Warhammer, for those that remembered that ancient tabletop game. An Ork would be proud as she stomps out the building, partly covered in material, controlled and connected by gum like ligaments to one another and herself, as she chews on more gum, popping another bubble. "I think this will last awhile against that hair of yours and if not;"
With that a fist fires off at rocket speed to impact with the girl. "... I got a few backups in mind."
With her attack launched Aurora stepped back raising her hammer up to bring it aggressively down on the rocket punch squishing the gum inside confirming a rather big problem for Aurora. Raising her makeshift shield she ran to the gum girls left oddly enough not deploying her hair in retaliation rather still keeping it hidden in her dress coat. Spinning the shield she threw it at Gummy Drop like a disk threatening to cut into her mecha like construct.
"You a fan of giant robots," she strangely asked before running behind what was left of the shack… clearly she was up to something.
"Dunno about that, let's just say I like them and have a big imagination." Blowing another bubble she walks around the reverse side of the building, while keeping up on the platform on the lookout for any tricks aimed at her.
Shunsuke was shocked to see the senior brush off these attacks like they were nothing. Even more so when he felt himself begin to fly upward. Soon he was plummeting to the ground and was pinned by a heap of metal. He grunted, lifting the piece of metal off himself. He'd taken much less damage by fortifying his body, becoming hard enough to withstand the assault, but it'd been admittedly more than he'd expected. He took a few deep breaths.
"Maybe you're right. Maybe being a hero is a business," he paused as he charged again. He threw a flurry of barrages, punches and kicks, aimed for the three key areas. He went for the head, the body, and the legs; each strike attempted to put more pressure on the Senior. "I'm a Martial Artist, this is what I can do." The world did continue, but Shun was a fighter. What else was he really good for?
Hiromi, for her part, had been confident when her attack landed. "Ya know, if your body moved as fast as your mouth does, you might not be on the ropes big guy," she said as she was pushed back. He talked a big game, but though his telepathic abilities were great, he lacked in nearly every other aspect of skill. Still, the girl found herself back on defense, working hard to dodge the debris flying her way.
Still, the girl had more tricks up her sleeve, she licked her lips and slammed her fist into one of the pieces of debris. It went flying into another, and another, and soon she was fending them off with her punches. If he looked closely he would see the girl's fists were encased in small shields much like the one she'd used to reflect the wires at him. This was far more controlled. Soon he'd have debris flying back at him if he wasn't careful. Even if he was, she was barrelling toward him.
"So do I," Aurora yelled as her hammer pierced through the building making contact, and pushing back the mecha Gummy Drop as Iron Volt herself launched above the half destroyed building over to the train using her recovered makeshift shield she landed wildly skating on it towards Gummy grasping the hammers hilly as she treated it like a lance pushing Gummy even farther back right into the train as for a meet second Aurora got a glimpse of her allies… they weren't doing so well. Part of Aurora's mind said let them deal with it, they refused to cooperate, let them be dumbasses, but then there was the part of her that whispered… is that what kinda hero I want to be.
"Dammit all," Aurora hissed as upon contact with the train she cartwheeled over Gummy Drop landing on top of the train. Glimpsing towards Heisuke she ran down the train as her hair started to escape both her sleeves. Tilting to the right side. Her hair web grabbed onto the trains rails as her other hand hair webs shot out impaling into the collected wires from earlier. With a battle cry she pulled them forward sending her own electricity into them building up their force as she serpent it forward right into Hiromi's full speed path.
"Heisuke MOVE."
Shun's attacks seemed almost fruitless. Those that made it through Koryukin's defense seemed to faze him very little, and others were blocked or parried. He was growing frustrated, and yet, he was smiling the whole way. Even if he lost this battle, he knew he'd have been going at it with everything he'd had. And he respected his opponent. He may not have agreed with him or his pseudo lecture, but he respected him.
Hiromi meanwhile was drawing ever nearer to Heisuke. It was taking all her concentration to do it, but she was barreling towards him like a fighter jet. I'm coming for you, she thought as if trying to mess with her telepathic opponent.
But the girl was pulled from her concentration by a battle cry and an angry shout. Her opponent was being told to move, but why? She cocked her head seeming a mass of wires come at her, surging with electricity. "Holy --" She lost focus for a moment, and was nearly smacked by a piece of the debris that had been coming at her. "FUCK!" Was this girl trying to KILL her?! Hiromi was thrown off. The deadly mass of electricity was coming at her. She needed to put up a shield. But would it be fast enough to protect her? No... It was too much, too fast. Faster than she could keep up with.
"Wha?"
Shunsuke growled distracted for just a moment by a shout. He turned his head, the scene playing before him like something out of a horror movie. At that moment though, as he lost focus, he felt a powerful fist collide with his fast. It made him stumble, but he hardly seemed fazed. More than likely, Koryukin would have ended up with a broken, or maybe just bruised hand. Shunsuke had pushed his Hardening past the usual threshold he maintained.
"Shit shit shit!" he shouted as he rushed toward Heisuke and Hiromi's position. The girl was currently throwing her hands up, some kind of attempt at defense. She seemed to be frozen in fear in that moment. Clearly, she hadn't anticipated this kind of rage fueled attack.
"MOVE DAMMIT!" Shunsuke shouted as he kicked Heisuke out of the way, literally a kick to the gut to send him out of the way. As he did that, he pulled Hiromi back by the collar, throwing her in Koryukin's direction with incredible strength. She screamed as she went flying, but that didn't matter.
"Oi! What the fuck is the ma-aaaAaAAAAAAAaAaaaahHHH" Shunsuke screamed at the wired slammed into him. He was unbreakable sure. The physical impact of the wires didn't hurt him. The issue was the shock it delivered. At first his body adapted. He could feel a new power surge through him. But it was too much at once. The pain was overwhelming as it continued to surge. He took heavy, shallow breaths trying to pull the wires off him, but fuck it hurt so bad! What the hell had Aurora been thinking?!
Hiromi wouldn't have survived. As she flew, hearing the boys pained screeched, she couldn't help but think that.
"Tch." Clicking his tongue Korin was very disappointed as Gummy takes her chance to motion for him to move forward, for now they were watching, seemingly unconcerned with the third member of the party.
It was hard to say how Aurora felt for once anger was something she had little experience with. However Shun's idiocy seemed to click the rage switch off as she felt dead from all this… there was no team here it was just a bunch of idiots fighting solo in their ambiance of ideals herself included. Draining the wires with her hair she killed the power source. Jumping off the train she neared Shun no words given as she plucked him out of the wires only holding him until he laid on the ground. There was a disgusting feeling as she had no pity for him… she could only feel the disgust in herself.
She let another's personality unbalance her own thus miscalculations found themselves all over the board. With hammer in hand she walked over to Korin, Gummy Drop, and Hiromi.
Out of the blue she bowed to them dropping her hammer as she let her arms drop to her side's.
"I apologize for my misconduct, and the disrespect I have tainted myself with. I have let my emotions get the better of me because of one person's ideology sparking against my own. I have disrespected you all as fellow hero's in the work, and I will pay for that. So I request you knock me out Korin senpai," she asked insanely. However it was clear this was a matter of punishment upon herself for her flaw.
"If given the chance Gummy Drop I would like to train with you if not I completely understand, but for now i must return to the chalkboard to reevaluate my approach," she finished completely turning to Korin as she simply waited. It was clear there was no room for argument for this in her eyes. Her eyes were tired that attack and siphon had over worked her body, but she refused to simply walk away from this.
"Uh..Okay?" Korin says looking at her with a look of confusion. She had problems.. "Gummy, take a chat."
"Alright." With that she walks over towards the depowering Aurora. "Sure, I'll have a go at you some time, provided we keep you from powerlines..we need to look at that friend of yours.. Ah and Good Night."
With that, out of the corner of her eye the right foot of Korin could be seen impacting with her jaw, knocking her out cold and likely with one hell of a jaw ache.
"Well.. Guess that leaves you mentalist. Wanna walk away?" He asks.
Aurora's words pulled him from his concentration, seeing the girl jumping down to them in a fury of rage. Heisuke had no idea what to do at this moment, he was completely stuck almost like being stuck by that girls gum, but he wasn't....He had no idea what to do. Thankfully Heisuke was saved by a quick blow from Shunsuke trying to get him away from her attack, the attack did leave a mark but he was thankful that Shun was able to help him, even if he wasn't going to say it.
He laid there for a solid minute, he couldn't see what was going on but he could hear it, sadly it seems Aurora had given up and bowed to them, it disgusted him. Standing back on his feet, Heisuke held his stomach from the karate kid's kick. Couldn't have just pushed me instead? Seeing the other team distracted with Aurora, Heisuke tried to think of a plan on the spot. Okay, always rely on your environment, what could I use? That gauntlet kid is strong so one heavy attack won't leave a mark...Shit!
"Come at me wannabes." Heisuke put on a smug front, ready to take on his opponents the only way he knew how. What If...Maybe… Looking over to the train, he had the Idea of lifting up the front part and try smashing it into the trio, but what if his classmates get in the middle of it? It was too much of a risk. He decided the best course of action was to fight without causing larger casualties, so after seeing a weak piles of scrapped metal, he floated them above his head, ready to send it straight into the other class.
"Go!" Korin commands, pointing his arm forward as Gummy sends her armored bits forward into the melee, gum collecting on the mess that heisuke had formed, making a complicated web, as Korin jumped up into it, smashing down with all his might, almost making what seemed to be a cage with the battered mess.
"Hey Shielder, let's kinda, crush him till he passes out..Well unless he has some surprises for us."
"Read the room steamroller boy," Hiromi said, holding up her hand. A dome formed around Heisuke, one of her "shields." It began to shrink around him. "Give up, or pass out from lack of oxygen. One way or another, this is over." She was already tired of this. Having to be saved by the opposing team, an instance of unintentional friendly fire, an opponent giving up for whatever reason.
Shun groaned. He'd passed out for a bit, but he'd since awoken. He began to lift himself up slowly. "I... can still... fight..." he growled. He couldn't though. His vision was blurry. He was in and out. His arms gave out.
"Ugh... That one too." She rolled her eyes. At least he wasn't going anywhere though despite his struggling. Small jolts of electricity could be seen on him. Aurora had siphoned the excess, but until his body reverted there was a little something. His nerve endings were all jacked up. He wouldn't be moving for a bit. She continued to focus on Heisuke though, the barrier around him slowly getting smaller and smaller. It was gonna get cramped pretty soon. More than likely, he'd pass out even if he didn't formally surrender.
"Are those the only options? Well I've got another one…" If there was one thing he was used to, it was being able to tell when the fight isn't on your side and being able to run, though his reasoning of running away wasn't out of cowardice but changing the space between his classmates and his opponents.
Booking it the other way, Heisuke hoped the three would chase them, maybe finding some other way of defeating his opponents.
"Well that's that then.."
As the group watched him run, it seemed he forgotten a very important lesson. There was a reason they stayed around the train platform, something Heisuke may have realized as he ran right into the out of bounds field and was zapped.
"Ouch."
"We should maybe, talk to the boss a bit before deciding their fate, huh?"
ROOM 1 - Amaris Alucard & Adelaide Bouche vs. Riki Inugami & Miyuki Fumihiro
All of Adelaide's feelings and thoughts she had over the past coming days led up to her field study fight. She was partnered with Amaris who she rarely spoke with though she didn't know how powerful she could be utilizing the shadows. This led the two through the freezing cold and followed down a trail until they were met with a pond along with a huge whale carcass lying in the middle of it.
This fight would determine her future, whether she could win this fight with Amaris or lose miserably, this was important for her future. "So now what do we do?"
Unbeknownst to the two girls from 1-A a young boy was hidden away, standing atop a tree and FREEZING HIS FUCKING ASS OFF. "Brrr…. W-w-why did it have to be a snowy place? Why can these never be like… A… Achoo! A freaking tropical island or something?!" Riki Inugami groaned as he hopped off from his place retracting a high powered telescope, which would morph into a simple one that you'd give a child. He folded it up, slipping it into one of his pouches before pulling out a slingshot.
"Awww~ Don't be like that Upgrade. Maybe this'll be the day you finally find that special someone to help keep you warm through cold nights like this." Miyuki spoke with a small giggle. She'd been gathering rocks and snow for some time now. "Now, are you ready for the next step?"
"Yeah yeah…" Riki groaned as the Slingshot morphing into a technological marvel of a launcher. He grinned as the back shot down to pull in a number of small rocks, mixed with snow. "Charge 'em up Madam Blast!" He said with a big grin. Miyuki touched the pile of snow and rock and it began to glow a vibrant shade of something between purple and pink before the launcher shot it all. Soon, these explosives, of varying size, would begin to rain down on the two unsuspecting girls. The battle was on!
After having exited the previous trial, the small vampire girl stepped out into a veritable winter wasteland. With the tell-tale sign of the crunch of snow beneath her feet, drawing her dead eyes to scan the immediate area in front of her, and all around. Amaris folded up her umbrella, as there was no real sun to speak of. Cloudy overcast days were agreeable, but often lacked the raw shadow-making power of the sun. Not that there wasn't ample dark ammunition around.. One inexplicable one, in particular, caught her eye. Her partner was Adelaide, whom she had shared nary a single word with since the school year began, it seemed. It seemed this would not be good for teamwork, but to see this to a passing conclusion, she would make due with the busty partner at hand.
Offering an olive branch, seeing as how this was happening shortly after that whole debacle including the villainous group that was the thorn in their side, and Adelaide's own father, not to mention herself. Amaris reached out to the other girl and said, "It will be okay. I am here. I will.. Let'z work well togethher. You can rely on me."
No sooner had she spoken, as the sky lit up with an enemy -the enemy's- first attack. It seemed the enemy could find ample ammunition as well! It also seemed she should have not folded up her umbrella after all.
"Gotchhu~!" Amaris quickly said, quickly stepping to the side, connecting her shadow to a nearby tree's and with hands extended up, flinging it over the both of them. It was reminiscent of the umbrella she carried, but bigger. The glowing explosive artillery bursting against it with some intensity. It sounded like thunder, as their little protective "umbrella" shuddered.
"Pretty good," Riki said with a big grin as he watched from afar. "Fire!" He shouted, though as they were far enough out of ear shot they didn't need to worry so much about whether or not the enemy would hear them. "Again! Again!"
Miyuki followed Riki's instruction almost to the letter as she "activated" the ammunition just before each launch. It rained down on the girls like a flurry, at least 6 bundles of explosive joy. Each would detonate in succession, varying sizes of doom! She giggled. "I think we've exhausted this spot!" she called to her friend. Yes, soon the launcher would deconstruct and Riki would have his slingshot back.
Riki with Miyuki and tow began to run. More than likely if the enemy was smart, they could trace the trajectory of the barrage coming their way. So, Riki and Miyuki had to run. If they were long range, the two would be sitting ducks. If they were close range, they'd be on them like white on rice. No, that just wouldn't do. Riki and Miyuki needed to play the long game.
The bombardment hit her shadow umbrella with a shuddering, threatening thunder each strike. Each one put a strain on the vampire, wincing as she tried to hold them back. She managed.. Somehow, but the shadow eventually gave out, dissipating and returning back to where she had taken it from the tree. Luckily, this was around the time their assailants seemed to stop the attack.
Taking a brief second to regain her breath, but just a breath, they didn't have time to dawdle. Amaris was forced to speak quickly. "The trajectory indicatess are foess are ovver there, beyond the treees," she indicated by pointing where she had felt the impacts on her shadow from, as Adelaides view was probably very limited with the shadow above her.
Looking at her partner, she asked. "They are probably repossishuning, and seeem to be a far-disstancce style of combatant. We havve but mere momentss to formulate a counter-initiativve. Any ideass? Do you have a plan?" It wasn't like Amaris to wait and listen to others, she usually just moved forward quickly on her own.
She was completely off her game, she was so bothered about thinking to herself that she was barely able to react to the sudden attack until Amaris pulled her under her own umbrella, this girl was true born her, someone who didn't even let a second go to think about protecting her friend, Amaris was destined to be a hero, unlike herself.
Thankfully the onslaught of aerial attacks had finally stopped and just in time for her partner's umbrella to break. "They stopped…" Adelaide was surprised that they would just stop for no apparent reason, they clearly had the drop on them and they still had no idea where they were, though maybe it was a smart decision so that they wouldn't be able to track them so easily.
"I might have an idea." Crouching slightly on the soft snow, she put her fingers onto the patch lightly to not cause some time of earthquake with her quirk, thankfully with Kaori he had trained her to be able to trace sounds in the ground and surely enough, she felt a light sound of patter coming from not too far away.
"It seems they are focusing on far and aerial attacks, their quirks could be unsuitable for close range, maybe we should try and close the gap between us…" She looked out towards the area to where they ran off to until a plan kicked in. "If we can be stealthy enough, maybe we can get a surprise attack in, they'll be no match for your close-range shadow attacks."
Riki and Miyuki had settled into a new position. Once again, they prepared. More than likely, the two girls would be plotting how to find Riki and his partner. "Phase one complete," He said to himself as he began to place small devices between the trees in his immediate areas. Net launchers and a few miniature tasers in their new location. "Time for me to head out. Be ready," Riki said with a grin.
"Come back to me soooon~" she giggled as she prepared things on her end. Piles of snow, rocks, twigs, little things here and there.
As Riki glided through the woods he dropped small tablets every few feet. He did this until he reached the edge of the wood. "Oooooooooooi~ Class 1-A!" The boy couldn't help but call out as soon as Adelaide and Amaris came into view. "I'm here to fight!" He said trying to goad them into attacking. He seemed to shift back and forth, hovering just a few inches over the ground on what seemed to be some kind of hover skates. "Shall we dance?!" He shouted again with a laugh.
Amaris watched as her partner bent down and pressed her hands to the ground. She knew Adelaide's quirk had to do with soundwaves; it probably meant she could feel them more easily. Like a radar. How useful.
"Yess.." she affirmed her partner's words, not being quite so convinced. Their foes would not simply allow such a simple strategy to be so effective. There was liable to some trick at play.
A moment later there was some shouting nearby, pulling her attention towards the aggressive male. Luckily, she had also set up some prepared traps. After all, the same strategy could've very well worked on two sitting ducks such as themselves. As soon as she became privy to the male and his incessant shouting, shadows of the trees all around him, that she had subtly connected to, sprang up to wrap around and ensnare him.
"We are not here to dancce," Amaris informed him firmly, harshly quashing his jovial presence. It was unlikely her meager trap would work. Their foes were not that simplistic.
That didn't take long,,, This was strange, why stop your attacks just to start yelling at them in the open, this did not feel right. "Amaris, I don't like this…" Stepping a couple more feet closer, she stopped in her tracks to look over to Amaris, who seemed to have her own plan in mind. Her thoughts were reassured when a bunch of shadows began to surround the shouting male, her quirk was massive and not one to be messed with.
With Amaris using her traps, Adelaide decided to attempt an attack while the boy was distracted, so harnessing her gauntlets she shot a sound wave at the man's feet.
Riki couldn't help but laugh even as Shadows began to move to attempt to subdue him. "So scary~" he said as he began to shift, moving out of the way. He had counter measures for the shadows sure, but he wanted to make this a bit more fun for himself. As he moved, he was careful, avoiding ensnarement while traveling closer to the duo of damsels, who were anything but in distress.
"Are you sure though? Dancing can be quite enjoyable." The smile on his face grew as big as ever as he discreetly continued to drop small orbs as he moved. One thing he hadn't expected was the sound wave aimed at his feet. It sent him high into the air. "I also find it helps a lot with mobility. Something I excel at." His boots began to change, allowing him to control his trajectory better as he pulled out a small device. It was almost like he was skating on air, making his way back to the ground, though it was a slow fall. He turned on his deice though, aiming it for the girls. If they didn't move or do something to protect themselves, they'd be overcome by... Music? Was he playing music? No it wasn't just that. The sound, there was something about it.
If the girls didn't pick up on it quick enough, they'd soon be overcome by a terrible case of vertigo. It might not incapacitate them, but it'd sure make using their quirks and coordinating attacks a lot harder.
Miyuki meanwhile had been left in the area before with two things. A much smaller launcher, and a thermal pair of binoculars she could use to spot the enemies and her comrade. She began to shoot much smaller rounds of explosives in the area the girls were in. It wouldn't hurt a whole bunch, but it'd be annoying as fuck and likely prompt them to get the fuck out of there.
"Can it? Ifh you thhink sso, then perhapss you shhould go danccing insstead of fighting." Amaris suggested quickly before things kicked off. He was nimble enough to avoid her shadowy clutches. Which was bothersome, but not unexpected. He wouldn't be much of a foe if he couldn't manage that, now would he? Her partner sent an attack at him, which only propelled him upward. However, he used some sort of sound-based attack. When it hit her ears, she felt herself stumble to the side. Blinking, Amaris felt her usual balance was off, and her stomach doing somersaults.
She couldn't help it, it was a reflex. Amaris immediately sunk into the shadows at her feet to muffle the sound-based attack. She popped her head out to shout to her partner. "It iss a ssound-bassed attack! You usse ssound! Perhapss you can counter it by playing the right frequenccy withh your ssound wavves!"
There were a few more explosions that luckily only rocked the area nearby, drawing Amaris's attention. "Fight him offh!" she instructed Adelaide regarding the boy in front of them. While swinging a few shadows at the explosives to blow them up harmlessly before they reached the pair.
It seemed whatever the male had activated, it made the two girls start to feel dizzy, especially for Adelaide causing her to fall one one knee, squeezing her ears. What is happening!? Agh! It took some time for Adelaide to be able to concentrate again but Amaris's voice pulled her back to reality. Changing the frequency? I've never done that before…
She was about to try and do something about what the male's attack but then a second attack happened, though it wasn't close to hitting them, it did cause her to lose her balance yet again. Remember what Shun told you, breathe...and...concentrate. Opening her eyes again, she took a deep breath before getting her back into position, her hands pressed onto the snow until she was able to feel a similar wavelength to hers. "Let's hope this works!" Shooting waves through the ground, Adelaide tried to change the frequency so that it would end their vertigo, while hoping it would hurt the male too.
"Well fighting's just as fun~" Riki commented as he began to skate around the girls trying to keep them at bay. Miyuki was still firing, which was good. If they were smart, her position would be easy to ascertain. "But, if you want me to go dancing, I wouldn't mind if you joined-" He was stopped when Adelaide shifted the frequency, falling over into the snow. He skid a few inches, groaning from the impact.
"O-ooooow…" he huffed as he struggled, trying to get back to his feet. He kept falling over. "Ugh… Fine…" He mumbled as he pressed a button on his glove. Lines of plasma shot from the small orbs he'd been dropping all over the field. The lines connected with other lines, forming a sort of net-like barrier around the girls which immediately began to enclose them.
Even if it didn't hold them, it'd give him a chance to dig for a few earplugs. It wouldn't be easy to get out after all. Plasma burned. It couldn't be cute either. They'd have to find and destroy each of the devices. Or at least most of them. Or just hold out for around 10 minutes. But in that time, they could have lost the battle.
"I see you activated the net," Miyuki said softly. "Does this mean it's my turn."
"Yup… P-plan… C…" Riki groaned trying to get past his own vertigo.
"Okaaaaay~ I guess I'm coming to save yooooouuu~" Miyuki laughed a little as she left the set trap to begin making her way toward the ground, though at her own pace. He could squirm for a bit. It wouldn't kill him.
Watching her partner, she saw the hesitation there. It seemed after what had happened.. Adelaide's confidence was shaken. If it was ever there in the first place. Amaris didn't know the girl. Still, she seemed to regain herself, and put into practice what she had suggested. Which seemed to work! Adelaide's own soundwaves pushing back against the boy, enough to make him lose his own senses and fall over.
Not that that stopped him entirely. He set off some trap he had set up. A field that was meant to trap them in. Amaris wasn't going to let him have his way.
Quickly slipping out of the shadows, she unfurled her umbrella. Then, under her breath, she hurriedly whispered to her partner her plan, nodding over to their current foe. "Adelaide, shhoot my umbrella withh your soundwavess." With her instructions said, Amaris tossed the umbrella into the air towards the boy, while disappearing into the shadows just under the unfurled umbrella.
With all of the excitement going around, it took the girl half a second to get her mind back to reality when Amaris whispered over to her, thankfully she was able to understand her plan and gave her a nod showing her understandment. Adelaide aimed her quirk to an angle so that it would reflect off the umbrella, though she didn't know what her plan was.
But that would change when in a split second she understood and angled her attack at the umbrella, causing it to fly straight into the boy.
Riki has just managed ear plugs. The sound would no longer disrupt him, but it would take a second to get his bearings. A second he evidently didn't HAVE! "Fuckin hell, they're smart." The dome would continue to close around Adelaide. It would stop so she was just barely enclosed in space; she would be trapped. At the very least, she wouldn't be an issue for a while. Her instances of doubt, hesitation, it had made this easy. Though Riki couldn't have planned for that. A stroke of luck.
The vampire, however, was another story entirely! "Well fuck me…" he said with a small laugh as the Umbrella came at him.
"Ara ara~ Is this how you talk to all the girls?" Miyuki's voice was a like a breath of fresh air as she emerged carrying the mini launcher he'd left her. She fired off three shots, aiming directly into the path of the umbrella. They wouldn't break it, but it wouldn't be a threat to Riki. Now, it'd likely be more like a two on one. Miyuki may not have, but Riki liked those odds. Amaris was strong, but not unstoppable.
Thanks to the support team, the umbrella was made to deflect such weaponry. The explosive rounds were shrugged off, as it pierced through them thanks to Adelaide's quirk propelling it forward. Its angle was thrown off just a bit, but that wasn't an issue, Amaris had suspected as much.
As soon as it neared the two, clearing the smoke from the explosions, Amaris and her shadows burst out from the umbrella like some octopus lovecraftian monster. Her fangs were barred, and her eyes were bright purple.
"C'thhulu's Embracce!" she purred dangerously the name of her attack. The shadows were a deep maroon, indicating they were infused with her blood, reinforcing them. With the umbrella up in the air, the shadows were able to spread out and grapple at the pair. With the first of the shadow-tentacles wrapping around the boy's extremities. "Gotchhu!" He would get wrapped up and ensnared by the shadows. If her partner would be pinned down, then so would he.
All the while she was focusing her attack on the umbrella, she had completely forgot about the male's bug attack as it slowly began to surround her almost like she was stuck in a bubble. "Wait! Shit-" Quickly she began to try and find away to get out of the dome, she tried to push her way past the bugs but it seemed it made such a strong wall that they couldn't even more with all of her strength. It made things even worse that he couldn't see anything, his machine's had caused the dome to keep the light from shining it, so adding the darkness plus the feeling of being cramped inside, she started to hyperventilate.
Her breathing started to become erratic, her fingers frantically pressed over the walls trying to find a way to push herself out, but it was no use. Soon enough she was able to get herself partially under control, running her thoughts back to what Kaori had taught her, about keeping her mind empty and focusing on her target.
She began to push her hands onto the metal and slowly concentrate on the dome, slowly the ground below her started to shake, though the dome around her barely even shook a little. But she didn't give up, Adelaide kept going with her plan and put all of her power into breaking down the shield. Little did she know that everything around her started to shake and eventually the dome came falling down around her. "Do that again and I'll end you."
As he was captured, Riki couldn't help but laugh a little bit. "Scary~" he cooed.
"This isn't very good at all." Miyuki shook her head. Still, they'd planned for this as well. Each of their captures. She knelt down and took a deep breath, touching her hands to the floor. Taking a deep breath she began to charge the snow beneath their feet, spreading the now glowing mass out under the class 1-A girls' feet. "This explosion will be much more powerful than any before. Running means nothing. I could potentially spread this to all the snow so long as it is in contact."
Riki grinned. "Oh and if you try to take her out, it'll still explode. So, be careful how you try to move now." Still, that wouldn't be enough. Amaris could handle that couldn't she? She need only recede into the shadows. He had to handle that too.
"Don't do that Riki! The snow is enough. Even if they scatter it, they'll merely be spreading millions of little bombs." Miyuki warned the boy.
"I like to be thorough." RIki responded as he looked over Amaris and Adelaide. "Somewhere hidden around here is a miniature black hole generator. Probably really dangerous. If you think you could fight a black hole, by all means. Otherwise, you can lose to the bombs. Or we'll all go out together!" Was he crazy? Bluffing? Telling the truth? "All I need to do is think for it to go off."
"I don't thhink sso!" Amaris interjected, not one to simply allow her foes to control the situation. She was not worried about the snow bombs at that moment. The "black hole generator" sounded much more threatening, but she doubted it was actually as bad as he said. Your average high school kid, no matter how smart, could not just create and possess a black hole. Allo probably couldn't. Still, she was not going to allow him to set it off, no matter what it was.
Her eyes were drawn over to her partner, who had managed to cause enough quaking with her soundwaves to free herself. Good. Amaris had expected something like that. She spoke urgently to Adelaide, indicating their dire situation, conveying she needed to act with haste. "Jusst becausse we are in a winter land, doess not mean there iss no ssun! Ad-Tremor-" she pointed up towards the chilly, overcast sky- "shhoot the cloudss withh your soundwavves. Part them!" she instructed. She would free the sun. Which, ironically, is exactly what Amaris needed.
Since time was of the essence, Amaris prepared herself to act immediately when her instructions were fulfilled. Assuming Adelaide would do as she was told.
It seemed even after getting out of one trap, Adelaide was yet again stuck in an even more stickier situation, with the bombs around their feet, the ones she initially sensed before, she began to strategize on what to do. Maybe I could defuse the bombs by using my sound waves? No It's too risky, I could easily cause enough pressure to make them explode.
Thankfully her partner had a plan, she didn't truly know what her plans were, but it must have something to do with her shadows, she was going to help her whether she knew her mission or not, she had trust in her classmates. "Got it, Last shadow." Adelaide switched her direction up into the sky in the direction that Amaris had given her, shooting three waves from each hand at the clouds. "Let's hope this works!"
The three burst soundwaves was enough to open up the heavens, light from the sun shining through on the white wasteland below. Briefly Amaris felt the sting of the sun on her face, but it wasn't an issue. Holding her umbrella with her shadows, she pressed a button on its handle, before launching it up into the air.
The umbrella sprang open like any other umbrella. Then it unfurled even more, the canopy stretching out wider than expected, covering a large area above them. This had the effect of casting the entire area in oppressive, melancholic shadow. The vampire's playground.
The vampire had a fanged grin spread across her face, her eyes glowing bright purple in the gloom. "You havve witnesssed, Ssaigo no Kage! The Lasst Shhadow!" She did a fancy movement, raising her hand up then slamming it into the ground. "Grim'ss Ccemetery!" A burst of power could be felt all around them, and the shadows stirred. Immediately the shadows began to grab hold of the two, more thoroughly ensnaring both adversaries.
"Quick! Tremor!" she called to her partner. "While they're immobile! Blasst them with your shhockwavves!"
Riki groaned. So, his "bluff" had been called. He didn't have much more to do than... it. He glanced at Miyuki who was ensnared by the shadows. Much like they'd explained earlier, the ground began to crackle and explode all around them. Without her there to regulate the kinetic energy, there was no stopping the snow from just going off. It'd spread out far enough that the very ground beneath their feet had become a bomb zone.
"THIS ISN'T GOOD!" Miyuki shouted.
Riki squeezed his eyes shut. He took a breath. His tech could handle Miyuki's usual explosions. They were battle tested. But this was on a much grander scale than the usual. Still, he hadn't been lying about one thing: all he needed was to think. Four orbs shot into the air. They activated and began to hammer down the gravity of the area he'd been laying on the floor not that long ago.
As the gravity intensified, growing higher and higher, a black whole would indeed begin to form. "Heh... You called my bluff on a black hole generator. Unfortunately, it's not that hard to simulate with a few gravity hammers." That was what he called his little devices. "What now you two? You might take us out, but you'll go down too." Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on who you were, the black hole, small though it was, would begin to pull in everything around them. The snow, trees, leaves, the shadows themselves. Course, they only had so long before he could safely deactivate the gravity hammers.
Before Adelaide could say another word, the umbrella was already in the air and soon enough the whole battlefield was put inside a shadow. She noticed the girls eyes change and was completely shocked by her power. "Yeah you both screwed up!" Adelaide held a smug smile as the two were now trapped by Amaris, she almost thought this was a victory.
"They are soundwave's!" She called her attention to her getting Adelaide's quirk mixed up, but soon more pressing matters concerned them. The other team had pulled out their big trick it seemed, Amaris's call of bluff was soon enough countered when a small black hole was opened and started sucking everything around them inside. "SHIT AMARIS RU-" Suddenly the girl began to feel her feet being pulled closer to the hole, her first instinct was to grab onto the tree just in front of her, still she wasn't going to be strong enough to hold on for long.
"Why don't you go in first then!" Holding one hand onto the branch, Adelaide shot a wave of sound at the two, keeping a constant sound on them, they weren't going to hold on for long with that must pressure pushing them back. "Amaris, you gotta find some way of deactivating that, I'll hold them back!" Her only worry was her other hand slowly slipping from the branch, she was not going to hold on for much longer.
Right. Shockwaves, soundwaves, same diff! "No need!" she replied quickly, as she instantly seemed to vanish. Her umbrella would only stay aloft for a second or two more before it was sucked in. That meant she had to be fast. Like fast fast. Everything, she would have to respond to everything. Could she do it?! Of course she could! She was an Alucard! Her grandfather's voice appeared in her head.
The snow exploding was a major issue; almost more so than the "black hole" -the gravity well. But she could do something about the former, not the latter. As the entire place was covered in shadow, she simply tore into her arms, releasing a lot of her blood into the shadows that already coated the land. The entire area became an eerie copper color. Then she solidified those shadows, holding them strong against the explodings snow just beneath. "Gnh~!" she grunted, feeling the impacts of the exploding snow beneath the shadow-sealed land. Still, she held it.
In the same breath, Amaris shadow-traveled towards the two that had set up these two traps, all the while shadows shot out and grabbed Adelaide's ankles. That wasn't enough, the shadows slid up around the redhead and held firm. The umbrella's shade was almost gone.. She popped out punching the girl's face and side, then she slipped into the dissipating shadows, and popped out beside the boy, kicking his back. Aiming to knock them both off the ground, towards the gravity well they produced. With Adelaide's soundwaves pushing them that way, they'd be the first one's to fall to their own trap.
Riki and Miyuki both cried out in pain following Amaris's attacks. They needed something else. Something more if they were gonna pull out a win. But how did one achieve victory in these circumstances. The two were in pain, slowly travelling toward the black hole that Riki had created.
"Turn it off Riki!" Miyuki cried.
"I've got this!" RIki said as he boots began to transform. The grew larger, rockets stronger. He took off grabbing Miyuki and flying upward. The pull of the black hole was growing stronger. The bombs had been dealt with at least. He grinned down at Amaris and Adelaide. The sound and shadows together, their attacks it was great. Class 1-A was a lot better than he initially thought. But...
Class 1-B wasn't full of slackers either. "Still got... One more trick!" Miyuki seemed as surprised as anyone else might have been in this scenario. Along the ice encasing the remains of the whale were microscopic "bugs". They were freeing the bones from the ice and those bones would now be sent flying toward the to girls. Even if they didn't knock them out, they'd hurt a lot. They'd likely get them off stable footing. Soon the black hole would reach stability without the gravity hammers. Couldn't have that. Riki wouldn't be able to shut it down at that point. Maybe he was nuts, but sometimes, victory required a little eccentricity, a little insanity.
Breathing heavily already, Amaris hoped this would finish the 1B students off. But it seemed they had one last hurrah. The creaking of ice drew her attention towards the frozen lake, only to spot the morbid attack. The bones of the whale had broken apart and were flying their way. Another hazard!? These two were expert trappers that she felt she could learn a thing or two from. She could probably avoid any damage by just hiding in her shadows, but.. her companion would not have such defense.
Her umbrella was no longer casting the place in its shade. However, Amaris had to defend her ally from this latest attack. It didn't matter if her current homefield was gone. Running between Adelaide and the bones that were flying their way, she left a red trail in the white snow behind her. To think.. She had to do this after defending against the snow-bombs just before. Connecting her shadow to the nearest one, she dripped more blood into it, and raised a coppery shadow wall which the bones collided with. "Ahhh!" Amaris shouted, stumbling. Biting her lip, the vampire held firm, fighting back against the hefty weight of whale bones. Her vision went blurry and her skin felt like pinpricks. Could Tremor hurry and finish them off?
Adelaide had now been stuck having to make a split second decision, her eyes moved from the class 1-B students and Amaris. Should I help Amaris? Or should I try and finish them off? Maybe If I'm able to take them down it could stop their attack? Turning her head back to Riki and Miyuki, she shot a soundwave at the boy's rocket boots, hoping that if she could stop him from getting away then he would have to shut it down.
Maybe this was it. Amaris had stopped the bones, Adelaide had shot at his rockets. Riki tried desperately to this of what to do, but his "bugs" had reached their limits. He'd stretched them thin. None of his tech and devices, even with enhancements could do anything more. If a Black Hole hadn't done it, what would. As he and Miyuki began to plummet to the ground he held her tight, turning so he would take the brunt of the fall.
Miyuki shook her head. The little idiot had certainly planned well. She remembered when he came with her to talk shop, and it had all seemed crazy. But he'd really done everything he said he would.
Still, he wasn't about to cost her her life for a simple battle. She grabbed his gauntlet, a failsafe button was in it for everything to shut down device independent from his body. She shut down the gravity hammers. It took a moment for the Black hole to implode on itself, but the four of them would be safe.
Riki laid on the ground just barely conscious. "Well... That was fun..." He coughed out with a slight laugh.
"That... was dangerous..." Miyuki took a deep breath sitting up. She was exhausted. "Riki can't fight anymore... And I couldn't win as tired as I am right now..." She explained in a soft voice. "You two win... You were beautifully powerful opponents..." Despite the loss her smile was warm. She wouldn't be getting up off the floor for a bit.
"We'll... Get you... Next time..." Riki said with another small laugh, holding his fist up in the air for a moment before it fell flat on the ground.
Ayame Daichi & Octacia Daulfern vs Chiaki Fukuhara & Haruhisa Fukazawa
"T-that was scary! Welll..sorta I mean, not like they were trying to kill us but still.. Now we have to go down here it seems, I'll take the high road and you the low..well low and high-er.." She still didn't know how to process her seeing with birds.. It was a little creepy but also nice, I mean she could see at least, or so Ayame thought.
"Let's keep close together Oc…" What was her hero name again? Frowning a bit she sighs. "Well let's keep close together, I Commander Pandamonium looks forward to working with you! Let's take a win!"
Octavia could feel her heart pounding against her chest, the adrenaline still coursing through her veins from the mission they were tasked to do. Still, she was confident. Ayame was a great leader, and Octavia's birds were nothing to gawk at. They'd do well, she was certain of it.
"Yes, separating wouldn't be a good idea right now." Hearing what her comrade said, she smiled. "And I, Corvidae, look forward to working with you too~" Octavia responded.
Her form quickly became a flock of birds; a few of her crows helping Ayame down while one went to scout ahead and the others remained to keep an eye on their whereabouts, any potential danger, and where to go next.
After a bit, Octavia regained form next to Ayame, her hands on the grips of her swords. "We're approaching two people. Be on your guard."
The people in question, losing the element of surprise, both came out of their hiding spots with evident pouts on their faces. One girl looked like she could be Ichirou's sister save for the purple eyes, and the other was a tallish brown haired boy with heterochromatic eyes.
"Oh booo… There goes our plan." Chiaki said sadly, looking over the two girls as best she could through the darkness.
"Told you we shoulda waited." Haruhisa responded to her, coughing a little then looked to the two girls as well. "The blind girl and the panda right? Hmph, this should be easy."
"Commander Pandamonium…" Octavia spoke quietly to her comrade, just loud enough for Ayame alone to hear. Her eyes were closed, Fosc taking a seat on Ayame's shoulder instead. "I do not need Fosc's vision to fight anymore. I can pinpoint their locations and distract them if need be. My sword also holds a flashlight if you need it. I say this shall be a challenge, but one we can overcome."
"No, that's fine Corvidae, we both see better in the dark I think, in fact we should make use of that."
Waving at the two, Ayame smiles with her left hand swinging wildly. "Hi! I'm sorry for my class being how it is at times! But we can't be stopped here. I would ask you to let us go b-but.. We know you can't do that.."
With that Ayame's right arm has the SMG in hand as she sprays her rubber bullets…
Not at them, but at the street lights, intent on plunging them into darkness, where they held the advantage.
Haruhisa had already sprouted gas masks from his neck, handing one to Chiaki and quickly put his own on. As the lights shattered, multiple glass orbs appeared in his hands and were tossed at Ayame and Octavia. However, with Chiaki's quirk to assist, the glass orbs were repulsed and headed towards the duo's direction at twice the speed it originally went.
Thinking quickly, Octavia burst into multiple birds and grabbed Ayame. She took her to higher grounds and placed her down to avoid the cloud of tear gas now covering the ground.
"Ho ho! I love a good challenge~" Haruhisa said cheerily.
A paintball gun sprouted from his stomach, paintballs in 2's, 3's, and 5's were quickly loaded into the weapon as both Haruhisa and Chiaki took cover into the cloud.
"Tell cousin Ichi I said hi, okay?" Chiaki called out to them.
Soon after she said that, paintballs were being shot at Octavia, Ayame, and the birds' general direction. The crows that were hit quickly disappeared, forcing Octavia to reform and get down for cover.
"Haha, don't worry Oc-er Corvidae, I can breath in just a little air and be fine..but let's see…"
"Let's play a little game with them."
Smiling at that she tosses one of her normal pellet grenades from the roof to the two below. If they had night vision they would see it and if not..
"Okay for now get ready, which of them do you think you could take?" Ayame asks seeming all too happy with this situation.
Playing into Ayame's trap, there were no sounds of the pellets hitting people, but rather the ground. The 1B students, as she thought, had moved out of the way.
"Allow me to take the boy." Octavia answered Ayame's question. She believed that Ayame would have an easier time with the 1B girl and, if Octavia had trouble with the boy, then Ayame could finish up her fight and end this with a 2 v 1. "Just tell me when and I'll go."
As if on cue, a flashbang grenade was tossed up at them; this one more for Ayame than it was for Octavia.
"Haha. Alright. Oh he's trying what I planned." She said shutting her eyes and scurrying up a wall with her ears under the protective folds of the hat. Tossing down a flashbang of her own she would see how much their precious night vision helped them when they were oversaturated with yet more light as she jumps down, heading for the girl as she was told, claws out.
Octavia turned into bird form and quickly swooped down after the flashbang, encountering the boy who had been shielding his eyes. Right before she landed, Octavia returned to human form and her feet aimed to pin him to the ground. However, he quickly rolled out of the way, her shoes meeting the ground instead as Haruhisa recovered from the flashbang attack.
He readied his gun at Octavia, then fired the remaining paintballs.
Octavia clicked her tongue, pinpointed his location, and quickly drew her swords. In a flash her swords moved in a flurry, each paintball coming at her direction was quickly deflected. Using the air compression noise the gun made, Octavia was able to decipher the amount of time she had to deflect, and her heightened senses training allowed her to determine the direction.
In the end, not one paintball hit her.
She readied her anesthesia sword and swung to strike, but it was met with a ding of metal.
In Haruhisa's hands, he now held his own long sword and a riot shield. He knocked the blade out of the way and moved to attack as well.
With Ayame…
Chiaki had been forced to shield her eyes and separate from her comrade due to the flashbang, only to be pinned by the smaller girl with her claws out.
"Rude!" She hmphed and put her hands on Ayame.
With a repulsion force like no other, Ayame was flung off of Chiaki and a good distance away from her. The taller girl quickly recovered, nightvision goggles and a gas mask on her face to protect her.
She held out her hand again, and suddenly, Ayame would feel herself getting pulled by an incredibly strong force to the point that she was skidding closer at a rapid pace if her feet didn't move. Chiaki was aiming to pull Ayame closer then push her hard enough to cause damage to a nearby building.
Ayame rather than resisting the pull allows it to drag her across, not fighting it as she aims the P90 at Chiaki, dispersing the trigger with the whole mag of rubber bullets emptying in rapid order, followed up with a thrown flash grenade. As it goes off ruining her vision again, three of Ayame can be seen when her vision returns, moving towards her at speed, which was real would be the important question in her brief moment of distraction, her hold would have weakened.
Chiaki had to stop her pull and quickly move to avoid the rubber bullets, but the flash grenade was successful in temporarily blinding her. She was forced to look away for a moment, blinking and keeping calm to try and relax her disoriented senses but it was not much use. When she thought she was safe, she was quick to see that that was not the case.
"Wh-Whuh…" Having three little panda girls sprinting at her, Chiaki was forced to make a guess about what to do. With both hands out, she aimed and tried to push two of the Ayames coming at her. Was she right, or had she guessed wrong? There was only so much she could do until her senses returned to normal.
With that a fourth appears as the two were held back and soon vanishing from the impact, the third sticks her tongue out and winks an eye as the fourth heads in, machine gun held level, before it too was hit, the third pranking one darts forward swinging a shock baton set on it's highest setting, likely assured a hit if luck was on Commander Pandamonium's side.
Chiaki didn't have much of a chance to react before a high voltage stun coursed through her body. She didn't make a noise as the volt went through her, and while the electricity itself didn't hurt, it still had an impact on her nerves.
She fell to the ground groaning, but soon gave a smile to Ayame. "You've really grown~"
"Ahhah? Have I? These people are all crazy! And Allo Sensei! I try and keep things calm but there is only so much I can do! You guys aren't bad either Chiaki, I can't speak for the rest but I never looked down on the other classes, I mean I was with you all first before I was in 1A so I wish you all good luck in the officials."
Meanwhile, Octavia and Haruhisa had been neck and neck with their sword fight but it was apparent that her higher stamina was getting the better of him.
She, or rather Fosc, had eyed Ayame and saw that her fight was finished. And so, Octavia knew she had to end this fight quickly.
Octavia parried Haruhisa's next move and, surprisingly, turned into her flock of birds. A couple birds moved in to scratch and peck at him while the rest aimed and grabbed his feet. Haruhisa was soon upside down in the air and Octavia quickly took human form again, her own stun sword at the ready.
With a swing and a smack, Haruhisa would be hit with a high volt taze that resulted in a scream and him falling to the ground. He had been in the middle of creating something but it was left half finished.
@Mr.Scales ⚖
They won. That was a tough fight, even if she had seemed on top of it the whole time. Amaris glanced over at her partner and spoke to her. "You did well.. You were very usseful, Tremor." To explain how she knew to strategize with her partner she said, "It iss good to know the abilitiess of your alliez and how to make the besst of their strengthhs. As-s well as-s, what their weaknessses are, sso you can cover and compenssate for thosse weaknessses." No one asked her, but she had sensed Adelaide was a bit.. well, not wholly there the whole time. Why was Amaris saying this? Duno, maybe it was an attempt to help pick up her partner.
Not that she was in any position to do so herself. After speaking, she regretted it, wincing, feeling the tightness in her chest. "Anhnhh!" Amaris clutched her chest, arms pierced with fang marks, streaked with glistening moist red. Her hero outfit was wet with coppery liquid, too. "I ussed too muchh blood.." she murmured, staggering. But they had won! That meant they should continue... Amaris trudged forward, but her feet were heavy, and hard to lift through the snow. She didn't even feel like shadow-traveling, if she even could. Blinking her eyes, she realized her vision was quite blurry. "Ughhh~" the vampire groaned, nearly falling forward, but catching herself on her own knees. She was hunched over, taking deep breaths. "I'll jusst need a moment.." she said to her partner. After all, they had won! She couldn't leave Adelaide to face whatever was next alone. She was guessing she very much overexerted herself, but... That was.. no excuse...
Amaris's purple eyes rolled and she fell over in the snow.
Reactions: Azurian Dream
Kanna, Charlotte and Shizui vs. Kimura, Nikki, Shoko
Making their way to their chosen room, Charlotte couldn't help but glance around with wide eyes. "Room" was an understatement. Like with the tournament arenas, the display was amazing and felt as if they were somewhere completely different. Greek ruins, with some water and platforms as well as subtle fogginess that was setting in.
The girl immediately began to scan the surroundings with her quirk. It was too convenient for an ambush.
"I don't see any would-be hostages yet… Then again I don't see anyone period," Charlotte mused. Her quirk would allow her to spot through cover but she had no magnification ability. If someone was too far off she would spot them no better than anyone else, and then there was the mass amounts of cover to check.
Folding her arms, Shizui would observe the arena with a serious expression. "Good. Ample space for you to hide, Pinkie." She'd say somewhat sarcastically as she walked forward.
"No hostages means this isn't about rescuing anyone. We have to beat our enemies however we can." The Empress added as she looked towards Kanna briefly. It was good that at least the martial artists was around. It'd make the battle at least easier than she wanted to. For some reason, the girl was clearly on edge.
Her mannerisms were all the more similar to how she acted during the tournament battles, contrasting her previously friendly demeanor during the dance.
"I think we're being hunted..." The Miko adds in, her head turning with her eyes bit by bit in a visual scan. "You are likely right however, our foes are here somewhere. We got three as well I would wager, do not take it easy..."
With those words out of her mouth Kanna could here a "WOOOHOO! YEAH!!" As of all things a skateboard comes down one of the arches, grinding atop the priceless relic, well if it were real, as she snaps up, her back wheels grind on a column as she spins;
"HANG TEN COME'm At Yah Class 1A! But you all better Hang Ten as well!" With that, the woman opens her hands as two reddish disks form said hands, throwing them as she kicks up off on the board, landing on a roofing unit as she vanishes within. "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN LOSERS!"
"Hang Ten here! Lady Babbage you and the Bushroot setup?"
She says into an earpeice.
"Roger that. Lady Babbage is taking aim, I think I want to take out that Red one First, she seems to have dealt with a hunter before... She was the freakishly strong one right?"
"Uh huh, I just want to give the plant boy his time and fun, I might need his roots to get around, the water here is your and his ally, not mine!"
With that the battle was set in motion.
Glancing at Shizui, Charlotte pouted a bit. Perhaps it was a bit too hopeful that seeing her during the dance meant the girl had relaxed. Apparently she was still a bit peeved, though taunting her about her first experience with villains was a bit harsh.
"I've never hid though…" Charlotte replied before a rather loud girl caught their attention. Looking up, she couldn't help but wonder why it was that the yankee just shouted at them. They had the element of surprise, unless they thought so highly of her ability and believed there was no point in concealment. "Well, there's one… but the other two are nowhere to be seen or heard. I'd wager she wants to lead us into a trap."
Giving her two cents, one of the collapsed pillars that laid partly in the water lifted in the air and flew over to shield the group from the discs. It was obviously not a serious attack. She was goading them.
Crossing her arms, Shizui would watch as the newcomer managed to propose a chase, a silly one at best. "Kanna-san. You said we're up against three others, right? That's one of them, but the other two are nowhere to be seen."
With that, a door opened below Shizui, but seemingly didn't engulf her. Instead, the energy from below floated up to cover the Empress, granting her the armor at last, with some few changes.
"What do you say? We take the fight to them or we play their game?"
As the skater and steam girls communicated over the comm system they'd hear a yawn. "I got it, I got it. Honestly, if you think you can handle the fight yourselves, go ahead," Atsuki said as he hopped off his staff to land on the ground. Located in the center of the remnant that may have been… something? He couldn't be bothered to remember names for the buildings of the greek. "But don't worry, you'll have a great railway system soon."
Over the span of roughly a mile out from the boy's starting position, grass was beginning to grow. That was just a small signifier of change they would begin to encounter. The pace of growth wasn't especially fast, barely noticeable in the area of the girls of 1-A, however, following Hang Ten would begin to see a far more overgrown area. Various plants, vines, and yes roots, beginning to wrap and coil around some of the ruins in his direct vicinity.
As they chased, if they chased, the mass of green would likely serve as a good obstacle course for them. Something Hang Ten would be more than used to by now, but may serve as a fun little inconvenience to the enemies of the day. "Use that to get you and them to me. I've got more than a few surprises waiting. Much of the path that laid before the girls was full of various plants to cause a few issues. Excessive pollen, poison ivy on just about everything, and various other irritants… Oh, and the sleep spores constantly being released over the area. Even if it didn't put them down, it'd have to at least slow them down, right?
"Hmm.." Kanna sighs a bit, nodding her head as she points ahead. "We don't have much choice, we have to make them fight us, but it won't be easy I think.. We might be stronger but they are more learned, minus the 1B fellow..We know there is a trap, so let's crush it!" Or so Kanna thinks, if it would be that simple or not was another matter as the sniper takes aim.
Pulling her trigger from far off a soft PPSSSSSHHH Tore through the air with a fluff of steam as a beanbag slug smacks Kanna in the Chest with the force of a shotgun blast. Unfortunately she was not the one to be shooting at. Impacting her hard, Kanna winces slightly but is quick to gain her bearings once more.
"This is Lady Babbage, the big red one did not drop when shot, likely a strength or hardening quirk, guess those two buildings weren't a fluke.. Moving position."
"If we chase them around, that's likely playing right into their hands. This isn't a situation where we should be charging blindly,"
Charlotte stated, however just then something impacted Kanna with significant force and the girl clicked her tongue.
She opened her parasol, holding it outward like a shield in the direction of the shot. Her eyes scanned passed it, however just as she had feared, it was a ranged fighter. All she could note were some overgrowth taking on the ruins and dilapidated structures.
"I can't see her. Wherever she is, she's too far away," Charlotte alerted them with a soft sigh. So much for not playing into their hands. "It seems we don't have a choice then. We can't sit here and be picked off… If that skater gets a bit closer like she did before I can bring her to us, but that's a big if."
Quietly observing, Shizui would click her tongue at the situation. It seemed that they were indeed being pulled along into the enemy plan. Regardless, their choices were very limited.
To make matters worse, sitting around would only make them even more of accessible targets for whoever was shooting. As she saw it, they either took the fight to their enemies or they rooted them out at the right moment by turtling up.
"Well, you sure are being useless this time around, huh, Pinkie." She once more commented against Charlotte as she took a step forward.
"If I get close enough, I can contain the skater's movements, or at best lead her to where we want." She explained as she looked to the ocean slowly becoming a greenery.
Atsuki was sitting pretty as the areas began to overgrow with roots, vines, trees, and flowers. How would the girls react to these things? Were they pretty? The talkative types? Serious types? He hummed hopping up to stand atop his staff and looked out into the horizon. He took a deep breath. He'd have loved to just sit around and talk, get to know them maybe, and avoid all this, but it was a battle, all business.
"Don't forget not to get too close Hang Ten," he yawned into the intercom. "As for you Babbage, keep safe. Remember, I need you to cover me, if the plan is gonna work." He scanned the foliage beginning to grow and huffed. "If you head northeast toward me, you'll enter a mass of sleeping pollen Hang Ten. Make sure you have a mask or something," he yawned again, "Or avoid the pollen altogether." That would be easier said than done, now wouldn't it. Hopefully she had a gas mask or something like he'd said.
"Oh don't worry about that none! I'm called Hang Ten for a reason!" She responds back, grinding another jump portion of roof, she skirts up along one of the vines, taking the chance to throw more of her energy disks at the trio before popping off again, using the large central point to grab major air. "SEEE?! WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!"
With that Babbage reaches her next firing position. "I'm going for the armored one next, if she deploys her doors I have a plan for that, try and draw them in Hang Ten."
Meanwhile elsewhere Kanna took in the sights and sighs. "I hope the others get more of direct fights.. We three have our issues with one another and two of us are Melee.. Even if we can catch the skater that leaves two more.. As odd as it may sound we might should split up and see if we can back them into a corner, but not immediately.. If that makes sense.. I worry about that plant collection as well.. Has to be a quirk."
The Miko didn't like this battle position and was unsure of what to do in it. She was more of one to hit what she could see.
Charlotte's eyes narrowed a bit at yet another side comment. She knew that she didn't give the girl the head on fight she likely wanted, but she did what she thought would work and it did. She hoped the two could become friends on account of how well Aurora and her seemed to get along. Yet the newcomer was proving to be increasingly bitter.
"Is this going to be a thing with you? I'm trying to help, but it's a bit difficult being snapped at with every attempt," Charlotte retorted to Shizui. "I get you're annoyed and you don't much like me. I'm sorry, but I'm still trying to help us win here."
Frowning at that, she then looked to Kanna. She didn't like the idea of splitting up, but considering their group make-up it might be for the best. The trio could very well be a great threat. However, the issue was their cohesiveness. Charlotte felt she could do a decent amount with Kanna, but Shizui she suspected would be less than open to her advice and suggestions.
"Maybe… We should split up…" Charlotte let out a sigh as she glanced around. Suddenly, her eyes widened again. "More discs!"
Charlotte once again used the pillar to shield, however it appeared that this time the discs were more numerous and bouncing accurately off various debris so as not to be blocked so easily.
"We need to start moving. I'll search for the missing opponent. I'll leave who goes after the skater and sniper up to you two. You both can take the sniper shot better than I can."
"I think she would have more trouble shooting me, but the missing one…"
Kanna was pondering her next course of action, before suddenly punching a pillar full force.
Coming off another Jump Hang Ten threw a barrage of her disks, before her next point of landing was tumbling down, grabbing one of the ever growing vines, she swung off of it, board in hand. "Holy shit!" She yells as the marble peels away, getting back on her board she continues exhaling heavily.
With the rubble falling, Lady Babbage takes aim for the girl in armor, firing a shot dead center of mass as it travels between falling rocks a tight beanbag slamming into her gut as Babbage changes location again. "Hang Ten, still in the game?"
"Yeah! That Gorilla caught me by surprise is all! Holy hell! Wonder if she got lucky or knew."
"Who can say, keep them together if you can, next time they might catch you if they can work together, if they do we switch to plan B, our root boy has plenty of water.."
With that said, the focus returns to Kanna and co; "So we can even the playing fi- Are you okay?" She asks of Shizui.
Seeing the discs coming her way, Shizui would open a door directly in front of her to block the ones coming her way, effectively causing them to bounce off as sparks flew from the opened portal. With a small sigh, she once more looked towards Charlotte with a scowl.
Thus far, the two were having more than just attrition. Shizui was tired of dealing with her cowardice and the issue stemmed from the very first time the two fought one another. She was annoyed that this girl of all people was the one she'd have to keep with in order to win the fight.
In her own loose mind, she didn't even notice when suddenly the same bullet that had gone past and hit Kanna now was aimed her way. The discs thrown before managed to cause her to open a door in the wrong direction, and thus the bullet flew straight through, landing on her chest to cause a deafening sound.
Sparks flew about once more as the Shizui flinched lightly, but was completely unharmed. From the door below her, a chain of energy moved up to reach her armor and seemingly start covering the rest of her body into the armor she used during the tournament. "I'm fine. You're right, let's split up, I can't stand working with useless people like Chevalier here. I'll be aiming for that sniper… You do you."
With that, the girl disappeared in the portal below her, and so did the portal that had been protecting her...
Charlotte rolled her eyes as the blond girl remarked yet again. Even Lucien had less edges. And Izou, and Masaru, and Heisuke—Pretty much everyone. Either way, obviously she wasn't going to play to teamwork.
Charlotte floated up in the air, turning to Kanna before she left. "I'll scout around for the third. If I find them, I'll take them out and then come back to help. If I can't find them, then I'll circle back to corner the skater with you."
She really wanted not to split up, yet here they were. Charlotte turned away and began to fly off in the direction the skater went and where vaguely the first couple of sniper shots went. She didn't expect that the group would be as divisive as hers was.
Atsuki was… Meditating. He sat calmly, seeming to focus on the growth of his new little ecosystem. But not, he could have a little bit of fun. He rolled back and pushed himself up into a handstand. His eyes were separating. Irritating, but not unheard of. One seemed to disappear. The other, was flying? Hmmm Interesting. He took a deep breath, concentrating. Vines began to shift and move around both Kanna and Charlotte.
Soon, the vines began to attempt to ensnare Charlotte. They would begin to attempt to wrap around her legs, her waist, anywhere that could be used to capture her, the vines would target. By Kanna, the vines would begin to lash at her like whips. These vines were riddled with thorns though. It would be heavily recommended that she try to get cut as little as possible.
"Babbage," he said softly, "I've lost one of them. I think she may be heading for you." He didn't sound worried. Was it because he wasn't or because he was trying to concentrate. "Just wanted to let you know."
"Negative Bushroot. I have her in sight, Leave the Miko alone, for this plan to work I want you to head towards me, north eastern corner.. Once there use all your Vines on the armored one's doors. With enough of them we can shut them for good, I'm going to try something new to beat her. Hang Ten, I want you to lure the Miko, then play a bit of a drama with the Ice cream. You know the drill."
"Awww.. Do I have to?" "Yes." "But I'm having such Fun!... Fiiiiiiine. I'm a little disappointed though.. They went apart from one another sooner than I expected.."
With that a second and a third shot was fired into Shizui, no positions were changed as Hang Ten came in loud and fast, spraying shots at Kanna and Charlotte in passing, this time a large number with intent.
Atsuki's eyes opened and he yawned. "Well, I-" he stretched as he hopped up, losing the connection to the plant life he'd previously been controlled. The vines then sort of just... stopped. He perked up a bit. "- can't say I mind." There seemed to be a bit more energy in his voice. "Though, I was at least hoping to test a few paralytic poisons on the strong girl. She could probably take it." He shrugged as he hopped up, grabbing his staff. Then, he began to leap through the trees, moving unnervingly fast as he traveled until he found Babbage.
"As always," he smiled, "you are as intimidating as you are cute." Though he said that the tone was more one of familiarity and enthusiasm, as opposed to actually hitting on her. "Anyway, Bushroot here, at your service." If it were in person, he could control and manage the plants in the immediate vicinity with much more speed and accuracy. "Hopefully Hang Ten can corral the other too sooner than later," he added knowing the girl could hear. His demeanor had changed a bit. Likely from ending the connection with sleep and paralysis inducing plant life.
As Charlotte scanned the area and began her search, she found what looked to be a figure… Meditating?
Raising a brow slightly, suddenly her attention was caught by something different; a sensation that wasn't in the least comfortable. She felt something crawling up her leg and looked down just in time to see a remaining bunch of vines wrap around her limbs and waist. Charlotte struggled a bit but stopped feeling the pricks of thorns. However, then they suddenly stopped. Floating further into the air as a precaution, she turned her eyes back to where she saw the figure only for him to be gone.
Her eyes narrowed, looking for where he retreated to before spotting his movement in another direction. Quickly, she flew after his direction. She wasn't hoping to catch him immediately, given how fast he was going. However, then his movement slowed before halting completely and another figure came into her view. Given that she wasn't the yankee, that must have been their sniper.
She wasn't sure if the green boy was trying to lead her or if he simply pulled back, either way, Charlotte was quick to hoist several pieces of debris in the air as she came upon the area, throwing the rubble at the two.
As the armored figure entered her portal, she would quickly move towards the nearest door up above and prepare her own movement method: door-hopping her way to the sniper. In only a couple of hops she'd find herself atop the arena, a good 20 meters into the air as she looked down to see a small figure holding the weapon whilst moving to change positions…
"You little… I have you now, interloper."
With that, she would begin her assault down on her target by hopping through various doors.
It seemed her target was well-aware of her tactic, as she would fire off a couple more rounds in her direction, only for her armor to make quick work of them by repelling them away. All the girl had managed to do was slow her descent.
In the meantime, while she descended, Shizui would eye her surroundings to notice that her allies were converging in the same position… "So she intends to trap me within the trio and hit me while I'm surrounded… Smart."
Barely a few seconds took place until someone near her as well as the Chevalier's projectiles came to view. Clicking her tongue, she admonished the girl's action with a stern stare all the while changing her hopping direction to the opposite side of the projectiles' landing spot. The girl had managed to once more get in the way of her plans, which meant that she would need a new backup plan…
"Cutting Comms, Final Orders. Bushroot, Focus on the doors, if you can spare anything to harass them, work in tandem with me. Hang Ten, I want you to harass these two for a bit, then deal with the Miko if you can…"
With that she hurriedly disassembles the sniper rifle and radio, wrench in hand as she goes on the move. If they wanted to take out the plant boy, they would have to earn it…
Jumping down as Hang Ten did another hit and run on the duo, she unfurls a rocket assisted punch from her backpack, that is to say it fired a steam propelled boxing glove at Charlotte's face, all the while then kneeling down and opening fire upon both with a steam powered gatling gun, this time the rounds packed more punch while not being lethal, as her body generates more heat and steam, making use of the water and rocks of the ruins to basically become an entrenched position. She likely would have surprised the others going from sniper to machine gun nest.
As the debris Charlotte threw kicked up some dust, Charlotte scowled slightly. It seemed Shizui was launching her own assault. That was an issue—the whole reason they split up was because they appeared incapable of working in tandem. She saw the sniper begin to pack up and move, but before she could pursue, heard a propulsion come from another direction. Turning to look, she was met with quite the confusing sight. Was that a—
Too little too late. The boxing glove collided with her, sending the pink-haired girl tumbling to the ground. She pushed herself up, reaching a hand up to pinch her nose and cover her scuffed visage before she found a far more threatening sight; a machine gun nest. If Ayame could do this with her guns, perhaps she wasn't as cute as she thought.
She pulled up her umbrella and opened it in front of her, shielding herself from the barrage of bullets, the force of each slightly kicking the parasol back at her. That machine gun nest was an issue, not just for her, but the rest as well. So, Charlotte sought to dismantle it and take down its occupant all at once.
Holding an open palm forward, the gunman would feel a grip around her person before being yanked forcefully toward Charlotte. Then she closed the umbrella, reeling it back and ready to slam it into her as she flew towards her.
Atsuki chuckled a bit as he moved carefully to avoid any attacks that might come his way. With the group slowly beginning to converge on this location he couldn't help but feel… satisfied? He grinned. "Understood Babbage. I'll do my best." He would pay particular attention to Shizui. Any time a door popped up, vines and roots would shoot at them to try and wrap them up. Being this close in proximity, the plant life would act and react much faster, almost as if it had a mind of its own.
Still, it almost hurt to see Charlotte take the punch to the face. He fought the urge to wince in pain. Regardless, he couldn't lose focus on his task. He noticed that the doors seemed to be repelling the plantlife. So he had to be more minute in his actions. The vines would be looser, when necessary to avoid simply being pushed back. Still, they'd tighten when necessary to stop the leakage of energy or Shizui's access to them whenever possible.
Spawning from a portal above the sniper's new alcove, Shizui was caught unprepared by a barrage of fire coming her way, but before the bullets caught on too much, a chain would release from within the portal's depths. Aimed at the alcove, Shizui would switch her target to the ground below her while the chain made it's way towards the nest.
The chain would land upon the nest with immense impact, releasing the energy to push back everything around it and then would proceed to drag the ruined nest towards the portal.
On the other hand, Shizui would land on the ground none-too-gently, almost creating a crater around the area she managed to land upon. Looking towards the area of impact of the chains, she would be eager to see the results… Were it not for Charlotte's interference…
"Never stop an enemy when they are making a mistake." Lady Babbage said aloud from her new position
"New Orders Bushroot. Follow Hang Ten. Ten, trace and mace!" She yells out to the two, not giving any details, the girl lets off a huge amount of heat and steam as her body takes in some of the water around her, seemingly making a cloudy field, backing off every so often a puck would be fired into the center by hang ten as Lady Babbage would rush in, using her rocket gloves to fire past the two, pushing the fighters closer and closer in a foggy maze of vines and mist, it would be impossible to see what was in front of one's face for more than five inches much less check who was friend and who was foe.
While Charlotte could see through the fog, Shizui could not and got rather quickly tired of being ordered around by her nemesis soon switched to a program of just attacking whatever and with whatever was on hand. This ultimately led to discord with the two seniors being able to outnumber and out coordinate with aid of Bushroot. First to fall was Charlotte, while her mental prowess was fairly impressive, there was but so much one could do alone with an uncooperative ally.
In the case of Charlotte, already weak from the punch it was a mystery only know to her who got the final impact in that steam, but Shizui was far more of a known case, a combination of the vine trap and withering firepower had finally beaten her into submission, had she said the words or passed out was difficult to tell given the loud clanging of material as the steam machine gun fired.
Kanna however upon hearing news of both and fighting off fines and snipping attacks grew frustrated and surrendered after ripping apart most of the grounds. Finding herself with her team and two others from one of the other groups, Ayame was also there with the headmaster.. It was a curious situation, what could they want of them?
After fight celebration
Interactions: Amaris, @Thaleko
When coming into the fight, Adelaide didn't have a lot of belief in herself or in just winning the battle, she had trained herself well but her battle track record was not in the positive. "Well I'll be damned, we actually won!" She made a fist and gave it a shake in a sign of victory, even Amaris giving her praise caught her off guard, she never felt so much pride. "Oh, wow thanks Amaris, that means a lot...Still, I wouldn't have come close without you, you've got some serious skill." She also thought about what Amaris had said, to compensate for your weaknesses by figuring out what those are and covering them with your strengths. "I'll keep that in min-" She was suddenly caught off from Amaris who seemed to be in some pain, this wasn't good.
"Amaris are you- AMARIS!" She watched as her friend held her chest in visible pain, by her own words it seemed the blood she had to use for her quirk was used too much and she was paying for her victory. She quickly ran over to the girl and put the vampire's arm around her shoulder, but even her strength couldn't hold as she fell in the snow. "Shit Amaris!" Adelaide pulled the girl back over her shoulder, she was now completely out of it, which also meant she was definitely not going to be on her feet by the next match, still, she didn't think about that, only in helping her classmate to safety.
"Don't worry Amaris, I'll find a way to get us out of here, but where did we enter from..." She scanned the area for some type of way to find where they initially came from, thankfully she remembered the lake and which way they got from there. "Okay, I think I know the way back, this is not going to be fun." She spoke aloud though she knew Amaris was still unconscious, she would now have to make the treck back out of the battleground while carrying her friend, beginning the hard journey back to the exit.
POINTY DRAGON VS ELASTIC WEE WOO
~~~~~~~~

The hurricane simulation aftermath was scarily accurate to what Yosuke and Jet would expect should they have been sent on a rescue mission. The civilians were rescued and extracted, yet the simulation did not go away. The powerful winds were still going, the destruction and the debris remained, but the only difference would be a tall figure approaching them with what looked like a shorter girl next to him.

The taller man held a few facial piercings, wore rings, and a wild stare in his eyes. His companion was slender with careful attention paid to his appearance.

"Man, look at 1A in action. So cool to watch you guys zip 'round like Heroes. Betcha weren't expecting a bit of competition, were ya? Ooooh~ I've been waiting to get my hands on some of you." The boy with the piercings spoke, his voice thick with a European accent and a big grin on his face as he eyed his opponents.

The shorter person looked up at his companion. "D-Dopamine, please." His voice was light, leaving the guess of his gender very difficult to anyone who didn't know already. The person then looked at Jet and Yosuke with a sweet, friendly smile. "H-Hello! It's an honor, and I hope we can become friends after this!"

Yosuke gave a quick look around. Another windswept plain after a storm. How original. He sighed, wishing he had something a little more close quarters just this once. Oh well, luck of the draw and whatnot. He wouldn't always be able to capture villains in alleyways and subway tunnels all the time. Best to get practice in an open arena when he can.

The two students from Class 1B were very different in appearance. One had a similar style to Killian, without the cute charm that he did, and the other was adorable and honestly someone Yosuke wouldn't mind asking out. A bit smaller than what he usually appreciated, but the demeanor was-

"He's a dude isn't he…" He whispered to himself. He deflated a little after that, before straightening himself up and looking back to them. "I hope so too. I don't think you can ever have too many friends." However, he ejected his finger casing, and popped the exposed finger in his mouth. Information that would be valuable in this encounter for certain. "Wind speed is between 25 and 35 miles per hour (40 kph - 56 kph)." He whispered to Jet. He replaced his finger casing, and took up a fighting stance.

"But first, we need to take that key of yours to progress."

"The key you need is placed firmly and safely in my ass. You best take those Golden Fingers and get it if you know what I mean." The boy called Dopamine licked his lips at Yosuke while his partner facepalmed.

While all this was going on Jet simply raised an eyebrow at the change of situation from rescue to combat. While they had no issue with the winds helping people escape to safety these sharp winds at a distance fucked with both Yosuke, and Jets long range attacks hence Yosuke's wind report.

"At best I can extend things five feet out before the wind starts to affect my construction ability," Jet whispers back to Yosuke before pulling his hoodie over his face.

"Black Miasma. Hero's should be well acquainted with one another. We accept your offer of friendship, but for now we accept that we must advance," Jet spoke. Taking a runner's stance he scanned both enemies. One was reserved while the other was extremely outgoing so much so they sorta sounded a little like Yosuke on a sugar high.

"Which one do you want to concentrate on," Jettitare whispered to Yosuke giving the option for them to fight together or separate, or a little of both.

He was joking, right?... Right?... Oh good lord he wasn't joking. The statement quickly runs throughout Yosuke's mind bouncing like a rubber ball in a tight space as he was reminded of middle school when his classmates always used to run away saying he was gonna stick his fingers up their butts. Safely in my ass... Safely in my ass... Safely in my ass… However, Jet brought him back to reality, talking tactics. He quickly shook off the fact that he would finally have to do what everyone in middle school said he was going to do and looked back at Jet.

"I don't really know. I don't know as much as I'd like about what their quirks are. Transfer and whatnot. But if he's the one with the key then even if we grabbed it first, we'd have the other one to take care of still." He noticed a windsock at the top of a windmill, indicating the direction of the wind currently. A head wind for them, and a tail wind for their opponents. Not at all a good thing.

"You wouldn't happen to know anything about them would you?"

"Negative I was only in 1B very temporarily," Jet explained as he watched Yosuke apparently get very much overrun by the strange ones key statement.

"Thus we test them just as much as they will use. Get a few hits in and regroup to see how they respond," Jet suggested.

"Fine by me." Yosuke took his stance and looked back at the two boys in front of them. He knocked his feet against the ground twice engaging the system in his boots to lock his toes in place. "I'll make the first move. You follow up on the other side."

He ran forward, moving to the flank of his opponents and rushing towards them. However, he was not prepared to attack, but rather to dodge the first attack against him.

Following in suit Jet trailed the opponents opposite of the side Yosuke had taken. Unlike usual though Jet was not dispersing mist as he would normally. No these settings were against him to make massive amounts thus he would have to bide his time.

The two boys, surprisingly, didn't move much save for the shorter one looking around to keep an eye on their opponents. Yosuke came from one side and Jet the other.

"Ready, cutie?" Dopamine asked, earning a sigh from his partner.

"Let's go!"

Dopamine picked up and held his comrade by the waist, the shorter person being held horizontally.

Then, quicker than the eye, the shorter person's arms and legs shot out at Yosuke and Jet, stretching for past normal human capacity. His fists were aimed at Yosuke's face while his kicks were heading toward Jet's abdomen. Should he miss, he would quickly retract and climb his partner like a pole, readying his body for another attack or to evade.

Yosuke had been prepared for a counter, but not from this range. He only narrowly avoided the attack thanks to his boots being activated, as his feet separated, forcing him into the splits. It was clear that the cute one was elastic from that single attack. A simple quirk with powerful applications. He quickly sprang back up. It was a shame he had aimed at his head. Otherwise, Yosuke would have been able to easily keep moving forward.

However, he was not prepared to stop his attack quite yet. Since the one who he called Dopamine wasn't attacking that meant either he wasn't a ranged attacker or his quirk was suitably hindered by the wind.

So Yosuke kept up his assault after that brief slow down. Besides, the closer he got, the more punishable a missed strike would be. However, he had moved himself close enough to fire a shot at them. He raised his finger, and pointed it slightly to the side to compensate for the wind, and let it fly.

On the other side Jet had also been able to dodge the attack, but upon a moment of chance had grasped onto the elastic boys right leg. With a strong pull Jet was lead all the way to the two 1B students. With the element of surprise thanks to the sudden close quarters Jet latched onto the fragile one. Seeing Yosuke's attack Jet swung to the right like a climbing lizard as his right foot dug between the two students. His left foot gave an overhead kick to the european as his right pushed him into Yosuke rocket attack allowing Jet to tackle jump the fragile one to the ground. With the boy this close Jets quirk started to manifest clinging to the fragile ones upper body snaking around him attempting to pin him down.

"Gyah!"

Rubber band soon found himself on the ground, straddling him… He blushed immensely, small tears at the corners of his eyes as he looked up at Jet.

"I'm sorry. Please be gentle!"

Rubber band would wrap his legs around Jet's torso and use his leg strength to fling him off, using this little opportunity to slip out of the hold that he was about to be put in. He then shot his hand out at Jet, aiming to grab his leg and try to go for another attack.

Meanwhile, Dopamine had tried to "put up a fight," but ended up taking Jet's and Yosuke's attacks head on. However, they would not hear any grunts of pain, but instead, a lewd, very sexual moan came from his lips.

"OoOoh fuck, Daddy~ ♥! Why you gotta punish me? I've been a good boy haven't I?"

Dopamine would then knock Yosuke's leg out of the way and aimed to throw some punches. Of course, he was holding back his strength to make it seem like nothing was happening. He wanted to get hurt, but so long as he put up a fight, these two would be none the wiser.

That's weird. Perhaps trying to psyche out out? Could just be bonkers… Yosuke thought on this for a moment as he was swept off his feet still in thought. No matter, can't really focus on that when someone is literally about to pummel your face! Yosuke was knocked over, and prepared to take a massive hit. And it hurt like hell! Getting punched in the nose is no fun! He felt his sinuses fill with blood, but… that was about it. There wasn't anything special about that attack otherwise…

He quickly uprighted himself, wiping the blood off his face. Looking back at his opponent. "That was a good hit, but I was honestly expecting a bit more. My turn." He lunged forward aiming three different blows. The first strike was aimed at Dopamine's left elbow, with the next aimed at his right shoulder, and the final being a swift jab to the stomach with an extended finger. Yosuke wasn't completely aware of his opponent's quirk, but in a very fortunate turn of events, his fighting style practically countered Dopamine, as he sought not to damage but to disable.

"Hm?"

Elias didn't feel right after the first hit to his shoulder and quickly dodged the hit to his stomach. His shoulder was feeling a bit limp and numb, which he quickly deciphered what Yosuke was doing.

His grin widened.

"Naughty boy, trying to turn my body off. Looks like I'll have to spoil the surprise sooner than I thought."

Elias lifted his hand, all of the rings on his fingers made a shink noise as each band revealed very sharp looking claws. However, the claws did not go to Yosuke. No, they went to his own chest.

Slaaash

"A-AAaahhhh~ ♥!" Dopamine moaned out, his cheeks a dark hue of red, his mouth agape, a bit of drool seeped out and his tongue slightly stuck out as the five deep wounds bled down his already heavily scarred chest. "Khh-Ooohhhh fuck~"

Without warning, Yosuke would be met with a heavy punch to his gut, launching him back a good distance and slamming him into the nearest run down building.

Being flung off by the small boy Black Miasma reoriented himself midair with an aggressive twist to land feet first. Not even a sec on the ground his opponent retaliated aiming to grab and attack again. Not one to fall for a repeated attack Jet clasped down onto the rubber hands locking it in place within the mist square created between his hands. Grabbing hard, and thankfully having a weight advantage Jet pulled the rest of Rubber band's physique towards him flinging the poor boy with the rough winds aiding the move and distance the fragile kid flew.

Ready to follow up Black Miasma paused at Elias's lustful groan. What he was met with sight wise was concerning the teen had just cut himself and in doing so had delivered a super strength leveled punch onto Yosuke. As his ally was thrown into a run down house Jet ran near Dopamine's backside swinging his clawed hands forwards unleashing a wave of mist as a distraction allowing him to get past his opponent and to Yosuke. Sliding into the house Jet helped his partner up.

"Well...his name makes sense now," Jet attempted a light joke as he dusted off the golden boy.

"Not being able to hit him though is going to be a heavy problem… clearly harming him gives him some rush of strength. The other one is basically a rubber person. Thoughts quick," Jet discussed with Yosuke.

Yosuke spit up a little after landing. That blow hurt like hell. Thank God he requested protection around his torso, even if it wasn't much. Still that was a hell of a blow. He staggered to his feet trying to catch his breath after that. It was dangerous for certain, but it was clear that Yosuke was a fine fit for the fight.

"Yeah, yep, I got it." He replied to Jet's joke. He was the one who experienced it first hand after all. But on to his questioning, Yosuke thought about their plan of attack. Muscle Wizard always told him to analyze his opponent and plan to counter every possible move.

"I don't deal damage. Not much at least." However, Dopamine was definitely a powerhouse. As for Rubber boy, we could use his quirk against him. He can stretch, as we've seen, but what if we tangled him up? He might be able to get out, but he's not the big problem. It might give them just enough time to double team the big guy.

"Can you create hands with your creations?" He explained his plan. He would keep Dopamine busy while Jet worked on tying up the smaller boy.

"I'll try to keep him disabled, but his muscles are pretty dense by this point. It might only slow him. I'll keep you posted if he goes at you."

With that Yosuke ran at his opponent and tucked and rolled behind, aiming for the back of the knee.

Before Rubber Band could fling too far, he stretched and grabbed a nearby building that had been mostly destroyed save for some support beams and a bit of construction. He would then spring himself back to normal, launching himself through the air and grabbing hold of another piece of construction to bring himself safely to the ground.

Meanwhile, Dopamine took a leap backwards out and away from both the opponents and the mist, keeping an eye on not just them but his partner as well.

Rubber Band was fine. The damage he did to his hand from punching the cutie with the poor color scheme only buffed him up more, leaving Dopamine ready for a good fight.

However, Pinky was the one he needed to stay away from, as his combat seemed to revolve around disabling instead of damaging. If Rubber band could tie up the fingerbanger and he himself could take on the dragon and not get caught, they would have a chance at winning.

A single glance at Rubber band and a mutual nod between them was all that was needed to know that they were on the same page.

Dopamine saw Golden Fingers coming at him but made no move to block. Instead, he took the kick to the back of the knee and quickly caught himself before he stumbled, turning around to face Yosuke.

"Sorry baby, but you gotta take me on a date if you want to see the full moon."

With a high kick, Dopamine quickly swung his leg downwards to try and slam Yosuke into the ground. If he dodged, Yosuke would see that a simple kick like that had left a very sizable crater in the ground. If he was hit, well then he would find himself to be in the crater.

Rubber band was moving quickly, swinging from obstacle to obstacle with the goal of getting close to his partner. If he could keep close to Dopamine, then they would be able to work better as a team.

As the massive blow was about to connect, Yosuke dodge giving himself a narrow margin of error, raising his legs up and spreading them into the splits. The blow then hit the ground, nearly striking him in his jewels and cratering the earth. Nope, not doing that again. No amount of armoring would keep him from a sudden and reluctant sex change.

"Woah there, I know you like pain, but me? Little more vanilla." He threw his legs backwards and uprighted himself before making a dangerous decision. It would harm him, but also hinder his attacks. He raised his hand toward his face, extending not one, but two fingers right into his eyes.

As golden boy went for his attack, Jet was busy setting up some preemptive measures. As a heavy cloud started to collect inside the house the dragon boy took in a deep breath. With a concentrated mind the mist started to recede back to his arms until it was a gone leaving a strange collection of ten small orbs clinging to his forearm scales. With five on each hand the dragon roughly waved his limbs until satisfied that they wouldn't come off.

"Alright phase one is a go," Black Miasma mumbled as an expressive violent shake notified him of Dopamines attack upon Golden Finger. It didn't take long to see what Yosuke was going for, problem was Rubber Band was trying to play vanguard as he was about to go in for a save. With animalistic aggression Jet climbed up the building, and started to vault onto the building ahead. Within a few seconds right as Rubber Band was about to interfere Jet jumped off the building, and latched into the girly boy from behind as he twisted both bodies sending them both crashing to the ground. Separating himself from Rubber Band Jet mentally moved line of the mist marbles to his left fist.

"Your move," he spoke with an intimidating voice as another one of the marbles moved into the hood out of sight like the rest of Jets face.

Before Dopamine could comment back, Yosuke was suddenly right in front of him throwing his two fingers at Elias's eyes. The attack was successful and he managed to hinder Dopamine's sight for a bit. However, before Yosuke could think of trying to get away, his wrist was quickly grabbed. The grip around Yosuke's wrist grew tighter as Dopamine's strength increased from the pain that came with the eye poke.

"Let's have some fun."

Dopamine swung Yosuke over his head and slammed his body into the ground, leaving a large crater. Again, and again, and again, Yosuke would find himself flying through the making a crater where he made impact.

With a smile, he stopped to look at Yosuke's face before he swung his opponent one last time and slammed him down to create another crater. This time, Dopamine let go of Yosuke's wrist and let the other lay there for a minute.

Dopamine rubbed one of his irritated eyes. "I hope those fingers are good for poking something else." He licked his lips, "I'm excited to see what else they can do."

Meanwhile:

"Eep!"

Being knocked out of the sky, Hinata found himself on the ground in a bit of pain from the impact of the collision. With a pout and a grumble, he quickly flipped back up on his feet, eyeing his opponent and then the distance it would take to get to Elias.

Further than he'd like… Ngh…

He had to think quickly.

The construction!

Hinata reached for a large rock and, with surprising strength, swung it at Jet from overhead but didn't let go.

He anticipated missing, and his rock slammed into the ground. Using the momentum, Hinata slingshot himself into the air and reached for Elias who caught his hand easily.

Hinata snapped back into original form and clung to Elias's back, hanging onto him while his partner would work as their main source of strength.

"Hey, are you "human" down there or do you have a dragon cock?" Dopamine asked Jet. "I'm normally not like this, but this question'll haunt me if I don't ask."

Bad idea. That was a bad idea. If he was just a bit faster, that might have worked, but given as he was slammed into a crater like that, clearly something better could have been done. He severely underestimated the strength of his enemy. He needed to figure out what to do. He was the best person to fight him, why hadn't this been working? What was Yosuke doing wrong?

"You're fighting alone Yosuke."

Perhaps it was his memory, or an auditory hallucination brought upon him by massive head trauma, but he heard something that Muscle Wizard said to him while he was training. He and several other people under her mentorship were fighting against her astral projections. At the time Yosuke didn't fully understand why she mentioned that. There was a single projection for each of them. So wouldn't it be more efficient to take on the ones that each person was best at separately?...

He felt the wind blowing dirt into his face. The wind blowing dirt… Wait a second!

He pushed himself up, gritting his teeth through the pain. He was fortunate to have been closer to soft earth upon impact. He watched as the hulking masochist and his small statured friend were heading towards Jet. Yosuke looked back at the windmill and the windsock. It was blowing with a head wind for him and their adversaries. Which meant that Jet had a tail wind.

"Jet! Let it loose!"

"Gladly," Jet placed the marble into his palm and crushed it releasing a monstrous cloud of mist upon Dopamine, and Rubber Band trapping them in a fog like mist that they couldn't just sidestep nor how for the winds to push away thanks to the directional advantage. Though not as big as the fog Jet had unleashed onto Kanna during the tournament it was clearly more condensed. What they weren't aware of was that now all four of them were trapped in a mist cube. Yosuke would be able to figure it out with the wall closer to him.

At first it was quiet, nothing came at them though. It was when all seemed to well that Dopamine would feel a major weight shift on his back, and a panicking wildly stifling about yet with no screams or words. If Dopamine were to try, and see he would be meet with a image out of a sci-fi fans nightmares as Jets left claw digged into Dopamines left shoulder as a distraction as from his hood clasped onto Rubber Bands face was a face hugging purple glob that was clearly violating the boys sense, and breathing capabilities.

Was Dopamine the bigger threat… yes, but as long as Rubber Band was on the field they would never get a chance to fight Dopamine how they needed. Thus the girly boy was the new target of both. Cue the reason of distraction for Dopamine was quickly clear as with a pushing boast from the mist Yosuke came flying into the fold right for Rubber Bands legs.

It hurt to move still, but that would have to wait. He was going to be a hero and he wouldn't let anyone else take that from here. He couldn't see very well, so he ejected all of his gold finger casings to allow for him to properly sense the movements in the air. Coming from in front of him on his right. It was small, definitely not the now hulking Dopamine. That could only mean it was either Jet or rubber band. That meant it came down to faith. He smiled, and pulled his hands back and strick right as the elastic shota came into view. Three pokes at the base of the spine to seize up leg movements. That would slow him down at least for now. What came next was him.

"Alright Jet, let's go, Golden Dragon! Hold him there!"

There was a large force blocking the wind. That must have been Dopamine. It was time to try and end this. He knocked his hands to his hips and loaded two casings onto his index fingers. Yosuke ran up behind and clasped his hands together, extending both of his gilded pointers.

"Forbidden finisher: One Thousand Years of Death...!"

And with that, Yosuke lunged forward striking a decisive blow from behind at maximum force. He felt his fingers touch against the strange outline of the key. He needed that, so with one hand he pulled the pants down enough to grab it and when the other, he triggered the firing mechanism.

"Burst!"

Dopamine was shocked when his comrade was suddenly gone, and there were no sounds to let him know what had happened. He was on high alert, listening carefully for anything. However, he heard nothing until he was held in place and something was coming up behind him.

"Huh?"

Time seemed to move in slow motion when he saw Yosuke running up behind him, fingers ready.

A big smile crossed his face.

The sheer impact of the finger attack had Dopamine's back arching, the backside of his pants and underwear shredding from the force so that his butt was exposed to Yosuke.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! ♥"

The attack had Dopamine fall to the ground, smiling, blushing, and panting. He looked as if he had just "finished," and honestly that wouldn't be too far from the truth. He seemed completely satisfied and out of it.

As Yosuke's elation from eliminating the competition slowly faded, he suddenly realized what exactly he had done, looking down at his hands in utter disgust. He called to Jet and held out the key to him.

"You take it… I don't think I want to look at it much any more."

And thus was the first, and hopefully last, Golden Gun: Climax

Isamu and Masaru vs Kuon and Yui

Isamu breathed in a satisfied breath as he looked over the edge of the bridge, to the clear blue water below. He'd expected something dark or murky, but it was quite beautiful actually. "That was a lot of work, but I'm glad we managed somehow," he said to his partner. He'd been worried about being paired up with Masaru, but in a field of water cascaded with ice, the two had effectively found their stride. But helping the civilians was the easy part wasn't it?

"I'm glad to see you both did so well helping the civvies," came a relatively calm voice, followed by a soft yawn. Standing there at the edge of the track, her figure just blocking the sun was a girl, adorned in samurai garb, a ponytail doing little to maintain the wildness of her unkempt hair. "Now, if you could just both lay down, make this whole process easier on me and Ku-" another yawn, "-on. It'd be…" yet another yawn, "...much appreciated."

"Wha? Lay down? You mean you want us to just give up?!" Isamu said in disbelief. Who was this sleepy girl?!

The girl's eyes sharpened at the question. "Yes, the sooner you go down, the sooner I can go relax. You should not interfere with a girl's relaxation time." Suddenly the yawning was down. Had she perhaps just woken up from a nap? "Sorry, I just woke up from a nap." Ah… So she had… "I was so happy you two seemed to be doing all the work, I couldn't pass up this prime relaxation opportunity. Wanna continue to make my life easy by dropping down for a ten count?"

"It helped that nobody got in the way… I would've gone faster if I wasn't expecting to get attacked," Masaru replied to the notion. While the water was a constant environmental hazard, it also served as an easy path-carver. The two ended up just sliding around on paths and ramps that Masaru froze. However, the silence was quickly broken by one of the prospective opponents.

Staring up at her in a deadpan, Masaru wasn't even sure how to take this. He had gotten into a mood thinking he would be running into a certain someone at the license test, only to find out that their class would be getting a "special" version. He wasn't completely sure of the reason; politics maybe or perhaps just over care from the school itself. Either way, none of this had gone as he had predicted.

"Then why not just go back to sleep or leave? Wouldn't that require the least effort…?" Masaru questioned with a light sigh. She didn't seem like she was planning anything—More of she was serious about wanting to nap.

"Why would we just leave or accept defeat? I've been waiting to witness the famous Class 1A in action."

The owner of the voice spoke up, suddenly appearing next to the unkempt girl. Unlike her, he was properly and sharply dressed, not a hair out of place and looked to have taken very good care of his appearance. If Masaru and Isamu focused, a bit of his not overwhelming cologne could be smelt in the breeze.

"I must say, I'm quite impressed by your teamwork, but the show of your rescue was quite dull, don't you think? They should have given you something much warmer, or something one of you does not obviously excel at, but I digress."

He gave a formal bow to the two boys. "Well it has been a pleasure making your acquaintance, but neither of you are going to make this easy for us, hm? A shame… My friend," He looked over to his comrade, "The sooner they fall, the sooner you can rest. Show no mercy, if you would be so kind~"

"Ozu-kun is exactly why I can't just let you pass and enjoy my relaxing nap," the girl said with a small sigh as she placed her left hand tenderly on the scabbard of her sword. She spread her feet a bit apart, taking a ready position. "He'd no doubt rat me out and I'd have to hear everyone's, even our teacher's, mouthes about the whole thing. A little work now, for more rest later."

"W-wait… N-no mercy? Is that really necessary?" Isamu said with a bit of a nervous laugh. "I mean, between Masaru and myself, I could understand wanting to see what he's made of… Buuuuut…" Oh now… The girl was already getting into position. Why? Why couldn't they have participated in the standard exam?

Suddenly, gust of wind appeared to burst form from the girl, weak though it was, as she wrapped her fingers gingerly around the hilt of her blade. "I'll show you a challenge worthy of your time, as I hope you'll do for me." Her eyes locked on Masaru in particular when she said this. "Do treat me like you would any other adversary." It was almost as though her entire demeanor had changed with her stance, taking on a far more serious, if not still monotone, tone of voice.

"Now, hold o-" Isamu was interrupted, having to jumped out of the way to avoid a blade of wind coming between him and Masaru. "W-w-w-w-wha…" He tried to speak, but nothing came.

"Ah… I missed…" She seemed almost sad at the revelation. In truth, Yui had been aiming for Masaru. She'd just been off by a few inches.

"You… M-missed?" Isamu questioned as he got himself together. He took a deep breath. THe worst part, was he hadn't even seen the girl draw her sword. It wasn't until the wind was coming at them that he'd realized. Was she a real freakin samurai or something?! "M-masaru… If there was ever a time for you to make your swords…" The small boy said getting into a ready position himself.

Narrowing his eyes slightly, now there was another. Masaru found it interesting of the girl's partner to make himself known. Aside from looking like a pretty-boy, his appearance wasn't as flashy and didn't give away his likely style of combat. The girl on the other hand played out exactly as he expected. Whatever her quirk was, it was definitely tied to her sword. She shot out a shockwave, or was it wind? Was she like Tempest?

Either way, Masaru gave a nod at Isamu's invitation, his face turning into a serious scowl.

"Iado, huh… That's fine," Masaru murmured to himself. "That style focuses on single, defining strikes… so…"

As if on cue, his trademark icy blades materialized around him. First three, then six, then upwards of nine; a whole armory of swords formed in the air, pointed at the bridge where they stood. If her style really was Iado, then overwhelming her was the best option.

Suddenly they began to shoot towards the girl, many diving straight for her position while a few others curved to strike from different angles. He wasn't sure what the guy was up to, but for now the girl seemed to be the more major threat.

"Bombard her Isamu. Don't give her room to breathe. That style doesn't do flailing. We can overwhelm her."

"You're smarter than you look," Yui said softly as Masaru created his swords. "That's high praise, considering how attractive you are," her voice was hushed as she dropped from the bridge to avoid the first of the oncoming blades. "Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Ah! R-right!" Isamu responded to Masaru before punching in a few digits on one of his hip-mounted chemical devices. Soon he had a small class ball of a chemical mixture. He ate it quickly.

"Slooow~" the samurai girl, her expression unchanging, despite her mocking tone as she weaved through swords, cutting down those that got too close. How was she moving so fast though? If they paid attention they'd see her sword now crackling with lightning.

Now ready to aid Masaru's attack, Isamu began to spit bombs. Each space they hit, a foam like substance began to grow. If it hit her, she would be subdued quickly. But she was faster than that.

"Don't let my hard work stop you from fighting Ozu-kun," she deadpanned before she was suddenly gone in a flash. Past Masaru and Isamu. In that brief moment how many times had she slashed them? "Hmmm more durable than I thought." The girl said as she began to back away. She noted very little damage to their costumes, even with the lightning enhancement.

Masaru exhaled a bit as the swords flew. He figured pinning her with great numbers was a good strategy, but also it offered a way of measuring her ability. Unfortunately, she seemed to be dealing with them rather well, even striking some of the blades directly. He could detonate his ice now, but she appeared to strike him before he could even will it.

"...Huh?" Suddenly, the girl seemed to be trying a new kind of warfare, one Masaru wasn't the best at. "I-Is this really the time?! No!"

Answering that begrudgingly, the girl was gone in a flash, now behind them. Just as quickly, Masaru felt a familiar feeling of electricity crackle against his body as he felt the minor impact of a few cuts. He was in one piece, sure, but there were some tears with his costume now, and the feeling of electrical charge was unmistakable for him.

He materialized a blade in his hand to ready for any further offense, though he really didn't want to fight her in combat. She was obviously far more reliant on sword technique than he was. So instead, Masaru's heel clicked against the ground and the area between both boys and the girl erupted with angled pillars and walls to barricade against the girl and even push her back a ways.

"Watch out for the pretty-boy, I don't like how complacent he's been."

If any of them looked, they'd come to realize that Kuon wasn't standing where he'd been anymore. In fact, he had taken the moment of distraction to disappear.

He was able to take the opportunity to observe his opponents and listen to their conversation. He had a good idea about the two as was, considering they were no strangers to campus. Hell, everyone knew about the magnificent Class 1A, but Kuon knew far more about them than he was leading on. As a Hero, it was his duty to study the personalities and actions of all comrades and villains in the case that his teammates would need to fight them. It assisted with creating better strategies.

Isamu and Masaru were no different. A simple walk by them while they had a conversation was all that he needed to know that little piece of information. It wasn't big news, but that tidbit alone could put a lot of friends and loved ones in danger.

The white haired one was their biggest threat of the two, with his quirk being far more controlled and offensive compared to his comrade. Masaru, like Tenken, studied the art of the sword while Isamu was playing support.

Interesting.

Kuon hung off the side of the bridge, his capturing equipment wrapped around his torso had been hidden underneath the shirt of his hero outfit and sprouted from the collar, ready to go. With the right moment presenting itself, Kuon was able to make his move.

One wrap shot quickly at his teammate, grabbing her and pulling her out of the danger zone of the barricades. Another wrap shot out at Isamu to try and grab him, while another wrap aimed for Masaru in an attempt of restraining him. The wrap that grabbed Yui would drop her just out of sight of the two to try and give her the element of surprise.

To assist, he hopped back onto the bridge and started speaking.

"Tenken-chan, I wouldn't get your hopes up about the girlfriend part. It's quite obvious Masaru-kun has a crush on the foul-mouthed pink girl he's always around. Emika, right? But prefers to go by Cupie? Personally I'd never dream of going near a street rat, but preferences are preferences."

"Love has no set schedule," Yui responded to Masaru calmly. Of course, love was also a lot of work apparently. She certainly didn't like that. "Though, I can't say this is at all love. It could be if you-" Before she could continue the girl was yanked away. Ah… Her fellow Hero "My Lord"... She refused to feed his ego with that overly indulgent name. She wouldn't use it! Regardless, she was pulled from the front line. Just when she was about to see Masaru's skills with a sword too, assuming he had any.

Isamu meanwhile, had begun to punch another code into his chemical device, one into each of them. No way was he gonna drag Masaru down. Incendiary mix and another Foam mix. He ate the chemical mixture that would give his bombs a more fiery edge. Of course, he was planning to use it on the girl. Shit! A surprise attack. "They have an edge in mobility," he said as he jumped back spitting a bomb that would engulf the wrap coming his way in flames. He need to see how strong it was.

Isamu groaned, being captured this easily wouldn't be good. He spit another bomb at the wrap flying Masaru's way with deadly accuracy. Even he sometimes forgot how hard he'd worked on that skill. Even if it didn't destroy the capturing wrap, this would deter them a bit. "Give us some kind of cover. They're hiding, and that'll make their jobs much easier if we're just out in the open like this."

Meanwhile...

"That's why you're such a stick in the mud, Ozu-Kun," Yui said softly having been "rescued" by her classmate. "But, I can't say I'd mind if he had a mistress, as long as I remained a priority." She hummed at the thought. "Yes. That would give me less work to do when I wasn't in the mood."

Still the girl sighed. Maybe Kuon could capture them this easily. That would make things much less laborious for her. She shrugged. They had two completely different styles. "I'll return to battle soon. Use me as a distraction. Focus on capturing the small one. He is smart, but not the most agile. Careful, he may eat your wraps." This was the most logical and efficient plan. And efficiency meant a quicker route to rest and relaxation. Yes. This was the best course of action.

It seemed the pretty-boy had come out to play finally. He had some tricks up his sleeve, but not in the form of his quirk. He was holding back for some reason, and Masaru didn't like that. Was it heavily situational? Or was he waiting to see their hand before revealing his own? Then there was the two's conversation that made him wonder if they were trying to throw him off or if they were just this carefree talking about someone else's supposed personal life.

"O-Obvious?!" Masaru was taken aback by that accusation, though he didn't have time to run through the motions of considering what was said. The girl was talking about a mistress and then the dandy had apparently read him so well while also insulting the supposed crush. "Yeah… now I'm definitely taking that pole out of your ass and replacing it with my foot."

The haughty persona the man portrayed reminded him of a certain someone, albeit far more posh, and it obviously irked Masaru slightly.

Following Isamu's suggestion, Masaru rose a large wall of ice between the two to protect them. It seemed that the girl was the largest physical threat, while the boy had an air about him almost like Charlotte; he was the tactician, or at least he was trying to get in their head.

"Forgive me Mr. Bubble Blower, but I'm not into that. I have a friend you should meet in that case…" Seeing the confusion regarding the nickname, Kuon smiled. "You do not know? Your tournament battle against Ichirou went viral in the Hero community, particularly because of the view of Ichirou's "taut buttox" but also because of your "position." The fandom now refers to you as the "Bubble Blower.""

Taking Yui's advice into account, Kuon's wrap against Isamu moved quickly but not to the other's mouth. It was aiming to wrap around his head and jaw to keep his mouth shut. Despite the spitball coming towards it, the wrap simply navigated around it and headed towards Isamu, exactly what Kuon wanted. The fiery ball of Isamu's quirk would hit, however the heat was forcing the wrap to tighten.

Considering the position, Isamu would need to dodge or have his mouth shut.

Kuon still wasn't finished with Masaru. Especially when he got a reaction.

"Using such language Masaru, it's unbecoming of someone like you. Perhaps you should cease hanging around Emika so much. Her sickening personality is rubbing off on you. Or is there something about disgusting personas that is attractive to you?"

His grin widened, "You have been friends with Charlotte a while, so I suppose there is something about it."

"...What." Masaru's scowl only intensified at the man's nickname of him. Retelling the tale of his tournament loss caused his eyes to narrow and his brows to furrow in aggravation. Then, if that wasn't enough, there the bastard went again, not just insulting Cupie but Charlotte as well. Again, there was a sickening familiarity to the mannerisms of the man. "Oi… You better not back out..."

Masaru's tone gave his entire emotional state away. He was fairly irritated, though his voice gave off a chilling focus. There was no question about him being angry, yet it was followed by no outburst, at least not his usual ones.

Suddenly, various pedestals and pillars of ice began to erupt from the bridge they stood on. They didn't appear to have any particular order or focus, as if he just wanted as much debris as possible on the field. It was similar to what he did against Ichirou, albeit he wasn't so sure either of the two had the same durability. He exhaled slowly, his breath showing in the air and while the erupting ground was drawing their attention to below, he would be forming an armada of blades above the battlefield, preparing to rain down on them.

"Man, we've only just met and I'm already sick of this guy." Isamu grit his teeth listening to Kuon talk, but didn't have time to say more. The wrap just kept coming. That is until Masaru began to raise a field of icy pillars. He could use that as cover, but they had a bigger problem.

"I'd recommend you make the most of your ability now before you anger them further," Yui said as she changed her stand, holding the sword before her. She took a breath and began to slash, sending waves of fire at the pillars, an attempt at minimizing them. Then, she shifted. She winced. Maybe she was doing too much. It was Kuon's fault. "And remind me to hit you later for being so rude," she added, though this was said under her breath. She'd probably add a smack or two for making her work so much harder than necessary.

Isamu, meanwhile, had found cover. He needed to make a plan. Something, anything. Masaru's ice barrage was by no means something that he should keep up for long. They still had another task to complete even if they won this battle. He made a new mixture. "This might work," he said before eating the mixture. He swallowed hard. He began to spit up his bombs, though these didn't explode. He made as many as his pockets could fill and then two more chemical mixtures. Hopefully Masaru didn't think he was bailing. The truth might have been a bit worse though. He was using Masaru as a distraction.

"Work faster Ozu-kun." Yuis added still trying to hold the ice at bay, preparing for whatever came next. She was growing tired though. Switching between blades of wind and blades of fire was tiring.

"Yes, yes. Beat me until your knuckles are black and blue." Kuon responded to Yui a bit uncaringly, preparing himself for the fight that Masaru was going to give him.

He was almost shocked how easily Masaru fell for one of the oldest psychological tricks in the book. That, or the ice wielder was a little hot-headed. Regardless, Kuon's plan seemed to have worked in infuriating his opponent. All he had to do now was watch his movements and dodge when necessary.

With each strike Masaru shot at him, Kuon expertly dodged and moved closer with each movement. Closer and closer, slowly closing the distance until Masaru and him made eye contact.

In a flash, Kuon's eyes turned white in color, his angry opponent suddenly going still and ceasing his actions. Masaru's eyes also turned white in color, frozen in place as his mind and body awaited command.

'Knock Isamu unconscious.' Kuon told Masaru telepathically.

"Yes, My Lord." Masaru would say, before turning his attention towards Isamu.

Masaru hands extended outwards towards Isamu, covering the bridge to make the area around him a bed of ice and limit easy movement. The white haired boy's swords that had been prepared for Kuon would then be flung at Isamu, each sword heading towards him closely together at slightly different times.

"Put Isamu to sleep if you can, Yui. I will keep close and deter any threats from Masaru." Kuon instructed his teammate.

"With all that ice? What do you expect me to do?" Yui asked softly as Masaru, now under Kuon's control proceeded to create another field of ice. Perhaps the boy was a bit more hot headed than she gave him credit for.

Meanwhile… Isamu had chosen the worst time to step out of hiding. How could Masaru have fallen into such an obvious trap?! Shit… Isamu was mad too, but he would never... No, that didn't matter now. He took a deep breath. Ice. Masaru's ice. Powerful, but not very complex, with a few exceptions. In other words, predictable if you knew what to look for. Isamu charged forward. He wasn't much of a skater, but widening the gap would be stupid for someone like him. He had a few things going for him: (1) Isamu was small; his hit box wasn't the biggest, (2) Isamu was smart, and (3) Kuon was an arrogant jerk who had a habit of looking down on others despite his information gathering.

Yui was surprised by the actions taken by the smaller hero in training. It was commendable, but ultimately foolish. Still, it was as she'd said. With Masaru's attacks, her's would merely get in the way.

Isamu slid across the ice, once he'd picked up a little momentum, it became easier to move forward. That is until thesword began to fly at him. Trying his best to turn, Isamu slipped his arm out of the sleeve of his coat swinging it with tremendous force, sending bombs flying out of the inner lining and into the blade. The explosion was big, maybe bigger than would have been expected. Enough to kick up ice, dust, and debris. It created something of a smokescreen with a little icy fog.

The boy had to think fast as silence filled the battlefield. All that could be heard was the crunch of glass. And then in the murky blur of the screen cast, a large object impacting the ground to the right of the field. Was it Isamu though? The size seemed about right, but could Kuon really be sure.

Kuon inwardly sighed, ""If you can," He repeated, "Hold back and wait for an opening then."

With that, he put his focus primarily on the battlefield.

The explosion and the potential smoke screen chances were something he took into consideration, and unfortunately, now Kuon would have to put in more effort than he wanted to.

So long as he didn't underestimate the intelligence of the short one, things would go according to plan.

Kuon used Masaru's ice to make a platform on the side of the bridge as Kuon whipped his wraps into the smoke screen. He was using the screen to his own advantage by reaching inside and trying to take Isamu by surprise. If that didn't work, then he could create some wind and fan it all out of the way. Kuon would have Masaru make some distance between him and wherever Isamu might be hiding, so if the boy decided to make an explosion then Kuon would have ample time to make Masaru react.

"I'll do as needed for victory," Yui responded. "So long as you are sure you'll win."

There was another thump on the ice within the Smoke screen. Then another. To the right. Then to the left. He couldn't be moving that fast between each side could he? No. Isamu wasn't so athletically inclined. The cover he'd created for himself wouldn't last forever though. He had to make this time count.

He stayed low. Never had he been so thankful to be so damn short. If Kuon paid attention. He might see a large mass to the right side of the arena. and another sliding across the center. This had to be fast. Isamu didn't have much time. He repeated that in his mind over and over. He exhaled, a small puff of breath visible due to the cold.

Then... as the sliding mass seemed to come into contact with Kuon's wrap. It made no form of resistance. Was it Isamu? Yes! No... Maybe?

"3..." Isamu sucked in a breath, the harsh cold mixed with dust and debris scraping his throat. "2..." He readied himself two more bombs in hand. "1!" His shout was drowned out by two simultaneous explosions. First the mass on the right sight of the field began to fly towards the trio. Then, the mass that'd gotten caught in Kuon's wrap began to fly. A two pronged attack. One of them was Isamu. They had to be.

"He believes both cannot be taken down at one." Yui readies herself to send a wave at one and then the other. "Foolish." Yui said as she sent a slash of wind at the mass coming from the left, fully expecting Kuon to have Masaru take out the mass on the right which emerged from the fog clad in Isamu's jacket. Yes! That had to be him!

The large masses had been, in fact, taken note of by Kuon and he anticipated it to be put to use. How? Well he already had a couple ways to go about it. Let's see which one was the right answer.

Kuon silently commanded Masaru to take out the mass on the right, which was believed to be Isamu using the left mass as a distraction. However, his eyes widened at the realization that he was wrong.

But… his capturing device checked the entirety of the cloud did it not? Where the hell did Isamu go?!

"Okay okay okay..." Isamu whispered as he flew through the air. He swallowed hard, shivering a bit as he clumped to the left most mass he'd sent flying holding tightly onto Kuon's capturing wrap. Just as he'd plannedYui struck his transportation (and cover). He leapt back, kicking it forward into her wind slash.

"Come oooon-" he grit his teeth, his voice barely audible as the mass of... foam? Yes! He'd made foam bombs earlier. Those must have been the loud thumps from earlier. The right most foam decoy wrapped in Isamu's jacket drew closer to Masaru and as his ice blade struck it, an interesting reaction occured.

Isamu had stuffed both of the foam decoys with his "impact" bombs. And so, as the heavy impacts of the wind slash and the ice blade collided with each dummy... they exploded. Isamu grinned.The shock of a bomb not far from his face would hopefully snap him out of whatever control Kuon had over him.

But something was strange. Kuon's wrap was still in the air. In fact there was no slack in it. Worse, he might have felt a forcefultug if he hadn't been shocked by the turn of events.

The explosions blew away the fog and dust, knocked Yui back off guard. "Aaaaaah!" Isamu came barreling down. Kuon had been his anger to keep him from flying away in the blast. His trajectory was just a bit off. He'd hoped to take down Kuon and Yui in one shot, but this would do wouldn't it?

BAM! His fist slammed into Kuon's face. It might not have been enough to knock the boy out since Isamu had been of a bit, but it'd sure hurt like hell. Plus, if Masaru hadn't already been freed, maybe this would do the trick. The fat little meatball wasn't done though. He pulled the wrap he'd acquired, tugging Kuon into a forced spin as his short legs touched the ground. "That one... Was for Charlotte..." He wasn't thinking straight. "A-and Cupie…" That meant nothing. Clearly.

Yui was stunned silent, knocked off her feet by the blast moments ago. This was why the wrap was important. Isamu bit a section off like it was household duct tape and ready to begin trying to tie the girl up so she couldn't move any more. But where was Masaru?

Masaru's blade had struck the foam ball which exploded on contact, knocking him off his feet and roughly colliding into the ground with his back. He lay there for a few moments, however then sat up and pushed himself to his feet. He was scuffed up a bit and his hair was disheveled, covering his eyes slightly and hiding his expression.

He saw that Isamu had come through. Kuon was panicking and Yui was stunned on the ground. He approached her from behind, kneeling down and lightly grasping both the girl's forearms.

"Sorry, this'll be a bit cold." As he apologized, a layer of frost began to grow from his palms to crawl along the girl's arm and detain her to the ground. "I'll get you out once we're done."

Standing up, he approached Isamu and Kuon, lifting his head a bit so that one could more clearly see a smile on his face, though it wasn't one of friendliness. One arm's fist hit the other's palm, cracking its knuckles before doing the same to the other.

"So, you insult Cupie, then you shit talk Charlotte, and then you mind control me and make me attack my friend… Did I forget anything…?"…"

"Well… He did out you for having a crush on Cupie too," Isamu felt the need to chime it, though it seemed Masaru had this more or less handled. "Since we're counting his fuck ups."

"I-I never admitted to that!" Masaru retorted quickly.

Kuon, meanwhile, wasn't listening to anything that was said by the two.

Despite the punch he received from Isamu, and despite Masaru talking, Kuon was too busy looking at the ground.

His eyes were wide, irises shaking as he took shaky breaths. The ground was spinning, his heartbeat was rapid, and the voices around him were muffled. All this time he was raised to be nothing but an asset to victory. Everything his parents paid for to make sure he did them proud, and for what? To lose?! To be outsmarted?!

What the hell was he good for?!

Masaru kneeled down, gripping the boy's shoulder and leaning over to look him in the eyes. Masaru still appeared fairly irritated.

"I didn't hear an I give, did you Isamu?"

"Tch tch tch..." Isamu wasn't the type for needless violence. Still, Kuon had crossed a line. He'd stepped so far over it, the it could hardly be seen. The line was a dot to him. Actually, Isamu has just been riled up. He shook his head. "I don't think I did. Pretty sure it's not official if they aren't subdued, unconscious, or verbally express defeat."

"Yeah… and I don't really want to use my ice more than I have already considering we have more tests coming up… and he hasn't spoken, but he looks pretty awake to me…" Masaru affirmed stoically. "Remember, dandy… I told you not to back out when all's said and done…"

What followed could only be described as a very one-sided and rough detainment of their remaining opponent. With Kuon now unconscious and Yui previously subdued and subsequently freed to take care of her classmate, Masaru and Isamu began leaving the room with the key in their possession.

"...Thanks again, Isamu. We pulled through mainly because of you… Sorry to be a burden like that."

Isamu laughed a slight blush on his face as he rubbed the back of his head with his left hand, his jacket tightly gripped by his right and slung over his shoulder. "It wasn't much. Nothing you wouldn't have done in my position," he said cheerfully. He felt good to be praised. Then, it was silent for a moment.

"So um…" Isamu said a bit awkwardly. "You… like Cupie huh?"

While the conversation was rather light, suddenly it became quite heavy. It was a small question, but one that almost suffocated him.

"I-Shut up! You like Charlotte!" Masaru retorted, not exactly denying the question. He wasn't sure how to describe it—Maybe? No, that was bullshit and he knew it. Maybe was a bullshit way of saying yes, but he wouldn't admit that.

"Wha?! N… Gah…" Isamu looked away. "Y-you can't p-prove that… And I-I'm not… I mean…" He sighed and shook his head. It wasn't like anyone else was around. He looked up at Masaru. "I guess I do… But…" He swallowed hard. "At… at least I can admit it!"

"...I… I don't know… Maybe." Masaru grumbled in response to that, staring forward with a scowl on his face. "...Probably…..Shut up…"

"Charlotte was right. You really are a dork," Isamu said, though he laughed warmly. "But um…" his laughter died down a bit… He looked a little more serious. "This uh… This stays between us… right?"

"I-I'm a dork?!" Masaru questioned with a scoff, calming down after a few moments. "...Absolutely… and it especially stays away from Charlotte."

"I mean… yeah?" Isamu said in the most painfully honest way he could. "You're pretty awesome, but you're definitely still a dork," he explained with a small laugh. "Honestly, I'm glad I don't have a crush on Cupie. I wouldn't wanna compete with you or Shunsuke."

"You're getting a bit too cheeky lately, Isamu," Masaru said with a scowl, though his expression eventually softened a small chuckle emerged at his latter joke. "Hah… Ri-Wait. Shun?"

"Cheeky? Me? Never," Isamu chuckled a bit before hearing Masaru's reaction. "Huh? Oh… you uh… didn't know about that? I mean, he's the only one who hangs out with her about as much as you…" The smaller boy shrugged. "Well, I'm sure it's nothing. I'm rooting for you though Masaru. Plus, I'm not sure Shun is smart enough to figure out what he thinks or feels about the situation as a whole anyway."

Masaru stared forward with a stoic expression after that. He never really thought about how much the two hung out or really worried about her being around other people. Isamu presented a good point, that Shun was like him in the sense that they didn't know what to make of their own feelings. However, Masaru also knew that if he could figure it out, Shun was likely to as well.

"...Yeah, thanks… Let's get this key to the others."

Isamu noted the change in Masaru's behavior. "Brrr… Just gotta a little colder," he said a bit mockingly. He shook his head. He was still pretty riled up after his plan had worked. He downplayed it, but he was really proud of the way he'd handled himself. "Ah! Yeah, let's do this. We've still got more ahead of us," he said with more of a confident smile as he slipped his jacket back on.

As the teams claimed their wins or defeats a door would appear in the artificial world, beyond it was a keycard, a simple, dull and plastic thing. A number of holes were punched into its thick surface. And beyond that? A room within a room, cut off by a large door that held 4 slots, two more than they needed, color coded and marked. The final boss awaited within, almost like some sort of JRPG, the various groups would arrive and be able to mingle till ready to see what was within.

But for this to happen four teams must insert their keys and hoped there weren't too many duplicates.

Yosuke wasn't certain if he'd be much use in the upcoming fight. After Dopamine's final assault, his body ached, and he definitely overdid it with his last attack. He was barely able to keep himself up straight and the only reason why he made it this far was because he didn't want to back out yet. Still, he had his Golden Gun. At the very least he could provide how teammates with cover fire in the next fight right. He was leaning on Jet for extra support. He was a cool dude. Probably would have to spend some time with him after this was all said and done.

As they approached the door, he could see a few other of his classmates arrive. He waved and called those who made it over.

"I'm glad to see you guys made it through!" He was bruised and his face was still covered in dried blood from the first hit. Yosuke clearly didn't have a good time.

Entering with Octavia, Ayame seemed no worse for wear though she was low on equipment, still she had one grenade and some magazines left, almost cheerily she inserts her own card then see's Yosuke, looking like he had fought a bear and lost..or maybe won as he was still talking.

"Yosuke!? What happened to you?" Looking at the rest she was curious what tales or items they would bring.

"Something that he tells me will haunt him for the rest of his life," Jettitare explained walking in behind the golden boy. Octavia, and Ayame has made it out as well. Twas a good sign… as long as two more groups appeared anyways.

"Are we the only ones here so fair?"

While she was excited to be able to move on, it was unfortunate for her arriving alone since her partner Amaris was unable to keep fighting, she just hoped that she wouldn't be all alone. She squeezed the card given to her in her hand before walking inside.

She was surprised to see that there were already others here, she didn't interact much with any of them but she was just thankful she wasn't alone. "Hey guys, is this all of us?"

"So far, Adelaide." Isamu spoke up as he heard Adelaide question the group giving her a small wave and a smile. It seemed he and Masaru were just a bit behind some of the rest of them. Surveying the motley crew he could see the battle fatigue that was beginning to show. This was especially clear for Yosuke. Isamu almost felt bad that he and Masaru had been relatively unscathed. What he couldn't see, or rather who, was Charlotte. In fact, he didn't see Heisuke either. Kanna? What the heck had happened? He took a breath punching in a few codes to his chemical synthesizer and a small ball popped out.

Eating the ball with a somewhat loud crunch, Isamu swallowed hard. It took a moment, but soon he was able to begin spitting up his signature "bombs." He caught a few, holding them carefully in his arms. "Guys, these work as so of medical 'bombs,'" he began to explain softly. "They don't actually explode. You kinda pop them over wounds and they'll help with healing. Won't cure fatigue, but it should help a bit if anyone needs it." He stepped closer to the group. It wouldn't be much right now, but it'd help a bit for whatever would come next.

Masaru glanced around at those that had arrived. He too noticed the ones that were missing. It was worrying to an extent; a lot of their heavy hitters hadn't shown. Were they taking a long time or had they actually lost? Aurora wasn't here, but then again Kanna, Charlotte and Shizui were paired together weren't they? That was a team even he'd be wary to go against, he couldn't imagine them having that much trouble.

"How long are we supposed to wait, do you think?" Masaru inquired, eyes drawing across his peers before stopping on Yosuke and seeming a little shocked. "...Yosuke… are you okay…?"

He was happy to hear that everyone was worried for him! It meant they cared. Yosuke have a wink and a thumbs up.

"Aside from being confused emotionally, I'm doing just fine. A bloody nose and a few bruises won't stop me." However he was incredibly grateful for Isamu's balm bomb, happy that it would dull the achy pain he still felt.

"When I brought Amaris to the infirmary, I saw Shun who seemed to be resting, sounds like their team lost as well." It really did worry her, most of their heavy hitters were defeated which left them, even though they were all quite capable and barely trailed in terms of strength. She was thankful for Isamu being there, he was a real team player and that showed with his offer of the medical 'bombs.' "I don't mind waiting, gives everyone time to rest up."

It wouldn't be long before both Ichirou and Cupie would make it into the room. Ichirou had many cuts all over his body, looking exactly what he had been doing; taking down a tiger. Cupie, though she had a couple dents here and there in her armor, had some wounds of her own but was still capable of fighting..

Both Ichirou and Cupie looked around the room. It looked like a good number of them had won but… a lot of their heavy hitters were not here. Uh oh.

Going around to the rest, Ayame would set about collecting cards and discarding a matched set, as she input them all, they had numbers on their side at least.

"I was hoping they would make it.." She said voicing Ichirou's thoughts on the matter as the minutes ticked by. "But that was where the seniors were grouped and some parts of that group would not work well together.. All of us have some form of Equipment shortage, damage or wounds.. We'll need to think fast, I only know a little of the school president's quirk.. She can mold and control clay I think but I know little else. They say she's a One Woman Army."

Ayame adds on, waiting till the rest seemed ready to go, she inserts the kets, as the inner room falls down, it's walls rolling and falling into the ground a woman in yellow armor and white clothing awaits, arms crosses, she draws out her baton, which Ayame knew concealed a sword.

"Class one A I One Haniwa Army, President Isaragi hereby acknowledge you all making it this far. But I'm afraid this is where you will be stopped." Standing atop a hill of mud, she draws the blade from her baton, holding it skyward, around her was nothing but a plain of grass, atop the mound of mud was a flag with the UA symbol. It would be a struggle even for a one woman army..but what was this about Haniwa, weren't those Terracotta soldiers?

Soon after Ayame had her question answered;

"TAKE IT IF YOU CAN! HANIWA! MARCH! DRAGON FORMATION!"

With that a faint glow seems to briefly emit from the woman, holding her blade skyward the clay beneath her feet seems to move and bubble forming dozens upon dozens of soldiers who harden into terracotta, with full armor and armaments, some even had horses, the ground troops move forward banging swords upon gauntlets as horsemen form ranks riding around and between ranks of soldiers, a complex pattern is formed as the woman directs it with her sword.

Ayame looks at it with a sad thin smile… "...really?" Looking at the rest now was the time to plan what to do, or to just act and see what happens.

"Well that's a new one," Jettitare blandly spoke as the mud army revealed the seniors quirk in full display. The hooded hero figured a sort of capture game would be the last test, but capture the flag from an mud army… he hasn't expected that.

"Its hard to say by how much, but her quirk is probably similar to mine. If it falls down to the most rudimentary laws as mine attacking both her quirk and herself would be suggested at the same time," Jet expressed as he turn momentarily to Cupie… but kept quite as this was clearly more pressing.

"Battle wise we will have to see how much control she had to properly gauge a scaled attack," Jet also suggested to Ayame setting how she was more and more becoming a tactical type.

Yosuke watched as the massive army of clay soldiers came to life, manipulated by her seniors quirk. To Yosuke, this just looked like a massive game of King of the Hill. All they had to do was grab the flag, right? Well that's easy, they just need a quickste-no they didn't really have one of those… Okay, so a teleportatio-no both Shizui and Amaris were down for the count. Okay how about fligh-Octavia was the only one as far as he was aware that could make use of that as the telekinetics were missing as well.

"Hey Octavia, how many crows would it take to lift the flag?"

Octavia looked to the pink haired boy. "One. Maybe two or three if the pole of the flag is weighted. The issue is that while my birds can take a few hits, they are still a bit fragile… Anyone good at long distances or defense, I can carry you with me to the flag but that could also end poorly."

"Let's work with that but with a slight difference.." Ayame says taking note of what Jet said. "Ichirou and Jet are our strongest ones still here so.."

Drawing on the ground she makes a circle with a line like so; _O "If we hit from the sides where those horsemen are flanked we might can unseat them, then we have a clear route to the infantry and the inner circle.. From there we can break up and deal with it to make an opening so Octavia can fly in low with whoever to try and beat her, we'll need to consider who to take, but for now we need to see how strong these soldiers are.. I mean they are clay but I doubt it will be THAT easy.."

With that Ayame just fires at one of the passing horsemen, while she was using rubber bullets it was enough to test with at least, there was pitting and the occasional break but the soldier kept going, it would take significant firepower to take them all out, if they were so inclined, though it made her pause to consider how the Student Council President's quirk worked.. She must have some limitations or reactions.

"Okay, unless anyone else has any ideas we should head out while she's still happy defending."

Yosuke followed in Ayame's footsteps, firing his Golden Gun at another cavalier. It was too hard and narrow of a projectile, only breaking a small portion of terracotta straight through.

"I'm too beaten up for extensive movements, and my bullets will only be able to break them if I strike a load bearing structure, like a leg. I'm pretty much resigned to support and fodder on this one."

How annoying to say the least.

"Beating her is not a requirement, but distracting her is if we want that flag," Jet spoke up as a reminder as his hands concentrated on making more mist marbles.

"My Vibranium Cutter technique should be able to mow down some soldiers, but I'll wear myself out pretty quick using it at full blast. At best to keep up performance I can do one claw hand of it. With what we got I may work better as a distraction on the queen bee herself problem is I have to be able to get to her," Jet mulled a idea over with his reflexes he could definitely keep her busy,and with his quirk he could avoid being overrun in numerous ways.

"If possible blocking her view would be the most advantageous sub goal. Her terracotta soldiers probably have some form of sight, but if the host is distracted the quirk always starts to fall short… or that's what Misoka sensei said in class," Jet mumbled stopping his marble production at six marbles on each hand… that would be enough any more would start to wear him out.

"Adelaides quirk would probably be rather effective here would it not?" The dragon boy turned to Ayame for thought as he was now raring to go. Adelaide did use vibrations and these things while heavy probably couldn't take such attacks well.

"Let's give that a try!" Ayame adds in, finding this idea to be most suitable. "We just need to break through and go for the flag...though those of you wounded, be careful! We might need you! I'm not sure it will be so simple as getting through this with it alone. If we all are ready we'll go when Adelaide is ready."

To say she was shocked would be an understatement when everyone's eyes suddenly locked onto her, unable to even speak. "Oh, uh…" Taking a second to figure out what to say, she took a breath before she blurted out. "Okay...I'M READY!" She let some time in between her battle cry so to give them a head start before she aimed a blast at the soldier and another into the ground to travel over to the clay soldiers.

Masaru glanced at the risen army, everyone was trying to figure out what to do. He certainly didn't think they were going to need to fight an army; he didn't even know that was a quirk. They seemed fairly durable, as given by Ayame shooting at them, but perhaps they were going about it the wrong way.

"Instead of breaking them, why don't I freeze them? It doesn't matter if they're durable that way," Masaru suggested as Adelaide began to make use of her quirk, forming some blades of ice that would expand on impact and create a frozen block on contact. "I can also obstruct her vision with my ice, or just go with Octavia to take the flag."

"Remember this is an opponent who can raise armies only do what you must and reserve," Jet motioned as two of his marbles started to lift off into the sky for later use.

"Well then let it begin. Ichirou seems we be best to play defender and attackers," with that Jet formed one of his Vibranium cutters, and started to let loose some excess mist.

"Cupie care to help me grab the queen bees attention?"

Yosuke took to the back, firing a Gilded Bullet at a the "joint" of a passing by terracotta horse, forcing it to fall to the ground and shatter on impact. "I'm not going to have many more of these left. If you can find a way to send a bullet back my way, I'd appreciate it" Yosuke tried to keep with the group, standing at the rear flank.

"Terracotta is fragile and susceptible to blunt attacks, obviously. But drastic and sudden changes in temperature can force it to crack. Ichirou, if you can, set your flames to superheat it as quickly as possible. Right now, we just need to disable all the soldiers we can and push forward."

Octavia had a thought, and decided that she might just take up Masaru on his idea. "Masaru. I can carry you overhead and you can shoot ice down on the soldiers while we head towards the flag. With Ichirou's fire and your ice going around, we can cause the terracotta to become fragile at twice the rate. Plus, your defensive capabilities will help me stay in bird form."

Cupie looked at Jet and nodded a few times. She drew her assault rifle and had it ready. "Sure. All of you need to be careful. If my mist is heading in your direction, just hold your breath. If I can get Queen Bee to fall in love with any of us, we'll win this no problem."

Ichirou, at Yosuke's instructions, flared in blue flames; as strong as he could have it. The pain searing through his skin was noticeable, but as long as he didn't take too much damage, he'd be fine. He took the front, and with his hands out, started sweeping the soldiers so that everyone could push forward.

"Alright, sounds good, let's do it," Masaru gave a nod towards Octavia. He exhaled and stomped forward, causing a phalanx of ice spears to come out of the ground around the group to hinder the cavalry somewhat, then waited for Octavia.

Octavia quickly turned into her flock of crows, with a couple birds grabbing Masaru's shoulders, back, and ankles to make the travel easier on him. Without wasting another second, the flock would bring him to the sky and fly him overhead, above the soldiers and towards the flag.

As would be the case with most plans, they all did not survive past the first encounter with the enemy. More of a mixed result would play out, between the harsh fire and heat soldiers would fall and almost as soon be replaced with others, Ayame's tactic paired with Jet and Adelaide had punched deep into the enemy lines, to the point the wedge was pushing dangerously close towards OHA. However in spite of their best efforts she remained focused on directing her troops, first to surround the wounded group, then to root the flag. She had a job here too afterall, though suddenly all the troops stop their movements and dive into the muck. In a macarbe display, the clay flows up the hill and into the girl as terracotta figures step out from within her, clad in yellow and nearly identical matches save for ball joints for movement, they had a wide range of weapons and limited ability to showcase expressions, one of which was quick to pull a bow from her back, firing arrows at Octavia as another waited for Masaru and the last few met the group down the hill at a full on charge.

Judging by the detail in their construction they were unlikely to fall easily. Five had formed in total as Mayumi stands and stays put with the flag, the real challenge had begun.

With Cupies help Jet was able to dig in deep into enemy territory before rather unexpectedly the army was called back forming into five more advanced mud soldiers. This was now becoming the final leg of the fight. Hissing as he was now rather far away from the main group with only two marbles left he decided to concentrate on the flag, and its guard. He trusted the others to be able to handle themselves well enough.

"I'll keep her busy I leave the flag to you," Jet spoke through his hood to cupie,and whoever else had gotten this far in with him. With claws at the ready he charged forward with mist coming out heavy to shoot out two pillars at his target as he jumped onto one to travel faster. Jumping off at the point of impact he came down with claws aiming to slash his target into submission.

As Jet charged into the first of the five he found his plasma cutters worked awfully well, but not quickly enough, the plan to break through would not be so easy.. Meanwhile elsewhere Octavia had a few of her birds hit and was stuck in her form, nosediving with Masaru into the ground, where he was forced to aid Jet and Ichirou with the clones. With a mix of fire, ice and plasma they were able to clear the way just enough, with most injured or spent in the current battle Ayame took a desperate tactic towards gaining the win.

"Yosuke! Err Gold Finger! I want you to put Everything into your toes and dash, throw me Isamu Explode!!" Entrusting him with that, Ayame takes what amounts to a shoulder tackle at high speeds into an air explosion thanks to Isamu and launches herself at a stupidly high speed to snatch the flag, hitting the ground and rolling with it she stands up a bit dizzy holding it high..well in between her turns as she hits the ground to rest, the buzzer rings, victory was to class 1A as OHA clicks her tongue unhappy with this improvised outcome.

Watching over the six, well five defeated as Shun was in the infirmary, Gregori looks over them with a sigh of disappointment. It was true that they all would pass regardless thanks to the rest, but that was beside the point.

"Do any of you wish to tell me what happened out there and why I should give you the retest here today? How many do you think you could take? What say you Ayame?"

"Err.. why am I here and why am I being asked?" She asks a bit puzzled.

"You'll be deciding the trial for your classmates once they say their peace, afterall from what I saw in that small mouse hide is the heart of a lion."

"..I-I..what?"

"Enough, now, what say the lot of you for what happened out there?"

"...I came to a situation I had no experience prior too. Rather than adapt I let my emotions blind me,and in doing so made terrible calls that I normally wouldn't," Aurora spoke up first breathing in a big breath hating to admit she had flaws, but clearly understood she needed to state it out now.

"I don't believe one mistake should be my undoing failure is a teacher, and thus I wish to learn from it," Aurora spoke prominently sharp eyed with no doubts she could improve. Yes she had messed up bad, but it wasn't that hard to pull out of it. A lot of her fights prior had required her to go all out, but now she needed to learn to reel back in. Grace, and control needed to be her new direction along with understanding that there were going to be people unwilling to work with each other.

"If I may…" Heisuke suddenly sat up from his chair after Aurora finished speaking. "Aurora may have made a mistake towards the end, but up to that point she worked effectively at fighting opponents and looking out for her allies, that shouldn't be something to be punished for." Heisuke's eyes would have shot daggers at Shunsuke as he continued to speak. "This also wouldn't have happened if young Mr.Miyagi didn't run full force without a second of communication."

"I'm not going to beg for a second chance, but if given a second chance we will work as a proper team, that's the reason we failed and will be the reason we succeed." After letting everything out of his chest, he dropped back into his chair.

Charlotte remained mostly silent as the others spoke. She was still aggravated, the closest thing to a scowl plastered on her usually glowing face. She tried, she really did, but it was obvious that Shizui and her couldn't work together. At every corner, every attempt to help, she was only met with a snide remark or hit under the belt. However, could she say that? That would sound like she was just putting off blame; unlikely to help her case.

"...I've never made excuses for myself, and I'm not going to start now. The communication in our team was severely off; we couldn't work together while our opponents were in sync… I really want to get stronger, so I don't have to only run support or strategy. I want to be able to fight and protect people on my own. I would really appreciate the opportunity to show that I can," Charlotte finally spoke up, her voice uncharacteristically stoic.

Seeing the situation they managed to find themselves on, Shizui was every little bit irritated as she was annoyed. The fight had not gone their way and to add to that, the finale of the battle only added fuel to the flame that was her rivalry with Charlotte. Even at the end of the battle, the two did not find their way to reconcile.

"Oh, I find that hard to happen, Chevalier. When you couldn't even be useful during our battle, I doubt you'll be able to do anything else."

She wasn't happy at all with the girl's remark either. Excuses? For what, she was clearly useless during the battle, so what should she even find an excuse for?

"There's no doubt that I made mistakes, given my lack of read on our enemies, but that is hardly the only reason for my loss." She added, huffing as she crossed her arms away and looked away from the group. "There's no point to a second battle. A loss is a loss… But if only for the sake of my honor I would gladly take another chance to fight."

"Enough if you do please." Gregori says, sighing a bit. "What do you think Ayame?"

"T-they should get another shot but we should work things out differently. Kanna?" Ayame asks looking at the other.

"If I have support I will make do as I always have. I'm not going to ask for a do over, but I will fight again if I must." The Miko says bowing her head.

Ayame nods and thinks on the issue at hand as the Headmaster watches her.

Kanna, Charlotte, Heisuke, Shizui and Aurora all failed, shun as well but he was still in the infirmary and would be for some time yet..

"Okay. We should do it over again but differently.. Kanna should be front and center with the rest backing her up as the spearhead. Shizui and Aurora compliment one another personality wise..so they should flank Kanna, the bruiser triangle while Heisuke and Charlotte should support the miko directly. With all the debris big sis Kanna makes they should have lots of things to throw. The command should be no command. None of them will listen, so we should give them a simple objective and let them loose."

"Sounds simple enough. So what objective, we have five Seniors still raring to fight, but that may be too much so I could leave the retest up to a coin flip or picking behind a door. An objective however, yes that may work well, like tanks at Kursk, or bulls in a china shop. What say you all to that?" Gregori asks.

The moment the other girl spoke, the smallest of the group visibly flinched and her scowl seemed to intensify before she turned to Shizui. She marched up to the girl and stared her down—or rather up, with an irritated expression that seemed out of place on the typically carefree girl.

"C'est ça! J'ai fini de te tolérer! Vous grossier, immature, énervé, tsundere, chatte con perpétuelle! Reine du putain de monde! Quel putain d'enfant absolu!" The girl chastised her, albeit with the difference in language it probably sounded more like a lot of cute, angry gibberish. "Every. Single. Time. I tried to make call-outs. I tried to strategize. I tried to observe. I tried to attack. And every. Single. Time. You were there to brush it off, to ignore it and to throw cheap-shots at me. I know I have room to grow, I don't need you to tell me that because when I mess up, believe me that no one beats me up more than I do! But I'm not going to sit here and be ridiculed constantly by someone who loses the battle for themselves, falls for obvious ploys and can't get over themselves for long enough to contribute to an attack plan! You don't have to like me, but you're here to become a hero, and that's never going to happen until you grow the fuck up!"

Growling out that last part, the girl took a few steps back with a huff, turning back to face the instructor, the girl looked visibly heated.

"I have no complaints with Ayame's plan. It sounds well thought out, nor do I have anything negative to say regarding our objectives."

"I agree with Ayames strategy. It's solid while taking into consideration who works well with who," Aurora responded noting the issues on hand. Seemed Aurora had not been the only one with a rough team up after all. It sorta made her feel better honestly knowing her mistakes were in a sense common for their learning curve.

"I know there is reason for the tensions, but before anymore flames are fanned to expand let us get through this together. Resentments need to be shelved for later," Aurora added pointed out awaiting further instruction or if needed to make sure no one killed each other.

Heisuke couldn't help but enjoy the little argument that was going on, It seems Charlotte and Shizui were not a great pairing and the two were both blaming each other for their failure. He was left with his hand on his mouth at Charlotte's chastizing, though he was clearly smiling at how much he went out on her. "Well putting whose to blame aside, the plan sounds good, I think we two can handle it on our end. '' Ayame's plan was quite thorough, which didn't surprise her from his previous interaction with her, she was fast and could think on her feet. "So how long do we have to wait before we can get to fighting again." He spoke eagerly ready for the fight.

At the little girl's outburst, Shizui's expression shifted to a scowling stare. Her words in French seemed to draw nothing but disdain from the Empress as she huffed and looked away, muttering somethings under her breath.

Eventually she started to argue about her own failings in battle, even going as far as to point their blame at her and cite out their apparent "aid", to which Shizui immediately turned to face her once more with a serious expression.

"You tried? Well I didn't see any of that. All I saw was a lost puppy who couldn't manage to make up a single straight thought as she desperately tried to compensate for her first villain fight and how she froze at the sight of someone ruthless enough to attack with intent."

With that, her scowl further intensified as she took a step forward and continued. "That's all you did in our battle too, froze under the pressure. So if you're going to lecture me about who'll become a hero, remember that you're just a failure as a hero and as a colleague who didn't manage to do anything in the face of a threat. I indeed may need to grow to understand my comrades, but you'll forever be a childish gaijin too scared to get out of your fucking playhouse!"

As Shizui's words came out, her skin flared with energy, a seeming fire glowing under her armor, slowly forming around her limbs. Her eye itself glowing red proved a threatening sight not too different from when the two first fought. Turning back to the headmaster, Shizui would look away briefly once more. "A loss is a loss. My punishment will come regardless… Just point me to my next task so I don't have to look at this gaijin's face."

"Enough." Kanna says pointedly. "I went down because of our inability to work together. And I can understand why Ayame picked us each for these positions. But what's this about a coin toss or a choice?" Kanna adds on.

"As it sounds, I have doubts you all can take out the full five, plus they may not mesh all that well. The one star of the senior class was able to give 1A a hell of a time, so she might be enough or her plus two others. I was thinking of leaving the matter to lady luck or your own judgement." Pointing at his door there was a board and some darts next to it. "I could take those and decide." Gregori says.

Picking up one of his darts as he walks across the room, he throws it cleanly, aiming for the bullseye, but hitting the outer rim on red. "Ha. Two it is, you will face the main boss and one other. Head back to the key pedestal when you are ready and take these. Tossing asie four keycards it would grant them access to the central battleground. "And Shizu do not worry of such punishments. This is my school and all aspects of it shall operate to my demands, an outsider's rules hold no place here. Dismissed."

Kanna takes the cards in hand and sighs a bit, making way for the door as she pulls on Charlotte lightly by the shoulder. Now was not the time to get caught in arguments with Shizui.

"Come on, we need to get going. The Panda isn't coming with us after all and seems a bit tired. We need to earn our way too."

Elsewhere the Seniors were playing Rock-Paper-Scissors to see who would be sent out.

"Agreed waste naught this second chance," Aurora spoke doing like kanna and having Shizui come with her to separate the bickering.

"This is our time to show ourselves, let's take our losses and learn from them, we won't lose again." He walked over to Kanna and Charlotte with his hands in his pockets, he only hoped their issues with each other weren't going to be their downfall.

With the group heading off on it's own, Kanna takes the lead inserting the keycards as the central "box" opens a huge mud mound could be seen as a woman in yellow plate armor and white clothing looks down upon them with crossed arms, alongside her was a woman in a blue dress. Known to Kanna's team, the girl has a sudden and brief movement of her jaw but says nothing as the pair speak.

"Hail! I am School President Isaragi! Also known as One Haniwa Army! Let us see if you can even come close to the performance of your predecessors!"

The woman in the dress with the machinery on her back nods. "I won the game. For the half of you who don't know me… Lady Babbage at your service. I'll be sure to provide support to the Army."

"What Army?" Kanna asks, with a raised eyebrow as the School draws her baton, not yet showing the sword;

"Why I never thought you would ask! HANIWA! RISE UP!"

With that Dozens upon Dozens of Clay soldiers brandishing blades materialize from the hill, hardening into humanoid-like figures, kitted out fully with weapons and armor, Cavalry Units and even Archers. While they had no mouths, one could swear to hear a cry of battle, as they take up formation, weapons clashing upon shields or fists upon chests in greeting and challenge, the Haniwa troopers at the ready, the army of Terracotta was there in legion.

The Sniper was also suddenly gone from view as OHA looks down at the rest, a flag at her side. "Impress me! Or TAKE IT IF YOU CAN! SO CALLED STRONGEST OF ONE A!"

"Formation up," Aurora spoke up getting revved as her hair started to light up moving about inside, and out of her dress coat. With her mind fully concentrated on the task at hand she got on Kannas left flank.

"Charlotte I would very much like to know where that other senior went," Aurora added politely with a mix of urgency.

Charlotte let out a light huff before frowning and following after Kanna. The girl was surprisingly silent and held a scowl similar to Masaru's idle expression. As they met the seniors, Charlotte hummed upon seeing the sniper from her battle and a new one that spoke of an army. She didn't need to wait long to learn why that was.

Her eyes widened a moment as the "army" rose. That was a quirk!? Settling herself, she positioned herself behind Kanna in accordance of Ayame's plan before glancing to Aurora. The sniper had to be hiding in the grass, that or she was among the many soldiers of clay. That made it troublesome like in her original fight; there were many places to look.

"It's the same as before, there's too many places to look… But if I were her, she'd either be hiding in the grass or among the troops," Charlotte explained. "...If the area around her is disrupted and she's forced to move, that'll make it easier to spot."

Following along the group, Shizui was, as her much despised "rival", silent. Even after the Headmaster's words, she was on edge. After all, the Old Man, while kind to a degree, had no idea of what awaited her when she was out of here. Things had been going south for a while, but it had been some time since she had felt like this…

A feeling of complete impotency in regards to the people around her...

Even when she followed the group to meet the seniors, she wore a scowl on her face akin to that of when she first presented herself in battle. Matter of fact, the girl had an eerie aura around her throughout the walk and it only got worse when the main foe presented themselves to her. The sniper in junction with an apparent leader of the class. A portal opening behind her, the girl armored herself and jumped to their right flank, apparently keen on following the original plan…

Even if it, to a degree, irked her that she wouldn't be able to just smash the sniper's cranium in at the first opportunity she had… After all, she still seeped with rage about her previous loss…

As Kanna charged in with the plan, the swordsmen form a wall as the controller swings her arm, lances and blades come to the front, chiefly useless for the time being against her, the formation was however dense…

With that Babbage takes aim at the supporters, aiming at Heisuke first and then Charlotte she takes aim, riding astride a terracotta horse that quickly vanishes from view, flanked by at least 12 riders.

Soon enough Heisuke had followed his team lead by Kanna to the field, immediately being confronted by a girl in a blue dress, he can tell this wasn't going to be easy just off her presence. His eyes widened when the girl in yellow suddenly raised an army of clay like soldiers from the ground. "You just had to ask." He added to Kanna's question, the phrase be careful what you wish for was very much real today.

"We have company!" As the dozen soldiers came running in their direction, his eyes locked onto Babbage and quickly his reflexes kicked in when he saw her weapon in hand, jumping out of the way. "Sniper!" By the time his eyes moved back to hers she was already gone, still that army of riders coming for them was his first mission. "We gotta take these things out!"

As Heisuke seemingly becomes confused by the horseman's charge, the unit breaks off as a large flank opens in their absence inviting the group in. Operating off of Ayame's initial plan they penetrate deep into the Haniwa ranks and suddenly find themselves surrounded as the gate shuts, two dozen horsemen circle around with their crystalized blades whooping overhead as the Infantry square off around them the only choice now was to fight..

"Of course.. Charlotte, Heisuke, We are going to give you two materials to throw real soon, keep close, we'll keep up charging!" Kanna calls out as she lets her fist rip through two of the swordsmen as their blades clash against her arms and chest, with little to show in turn.

In similar fashion Aurora started to make easy work out the terracotta soldiers ripping them to shreds with hair, nails, legs,and fists as for any that tried to fight at a distance her hair made sure to zero it. With each soldier ripped apart Heisuke, and Charolette would receive ammo thrown into the air to tear asunder long range targets.

"We're making good progress any sign of our sniper," Aurora called out to the Neapolitan girl.

As the group of five worked hard at the task now before them, Aurora and Shizu had their work cut out for them as Hiesuke and Charlotte would be hard pressed to keep up with Kanna, as the group advanced however Charlotte would have a bit of luck unseating Lady Babbage from her horse, throwing her to the dirt. Before much rejoicing could be had the basic troops were replaced with a third type not seen in the previous fight, more simple in construction they were armed and outfitted heavily. Pressing in with the weight of numbers they were able to divide Shizui and Aurora from the fight, keeping them pinned. This however proved to be a double edged sword as it tied down her troops, she couldn't release weaker ones as they would not hold and stronger would break her lines.

"Tch" With that she drops the troops in front of Kanna minus two and herself, barely able to move she engages the Miko in what would turn into a bloody melee with bits of OHA cracking and bursting off as she turned her own body into terracotta, Kanna for her part was turned into a bleeding mess, when suddenly she had a blood stained hand on the flag, holding it up with one and OHA with the other before collapsing to her knees, the enemy troops vanish into the mud as the buzzer rings.

Victory and some small measure of vindication.

With the fights now finally over a short ceremony would be held in Headmaster Gregori's office, in which he would address them all save one... "You have my congratulations Class 1A. As you continue your studies here..well most of you, you will be taking your first steps into a larger world. I regret to inform you that Adelaide has withdrawn from out school and will be taking an alternative to official licensing. Either way this license will permit you to train under a hero, given the current Crisis we have a list drawn up.." Walking to his desk be places a blackboard on top and shows some names.

~1. Chimera
~2. Dullahan's Flame
~3. Electros
~4. Misoka Five*
~5. The Grudge

And that was it, as he continued to speak. "These five were the first to offer their services. Starting this school week you'll be spending some time with these people as part of you field studies, annomously I wish for you to submit to me in writing who you wish to go to for your field studies. Mind you not all of you shall get what you ask for, also one more new student will be joining your class, she can speak for herself once you meet her today. The Misoka Five will be two members of your choice.. In addition as you haven't caused me more problems I will allow you some leave from the campus for the weekend. Enjoy yourselves within reason and be ready to report back here. Also given the heightened security situation I ask you all to travel with at least one other or more of your fellow students. That is all. Now get out of my office and have those papers for my by Monday morning."

With all said and done he watches the class with stern eyes, to see who first gets the message.

The dorm room was empty that day. There was no dirty glances between Heisuke and Isamu in the halls. Masaru wasn't blushing at the comments of Cupie or Charlotte. Yosuke wasn't showing off his skills in the commons, and Amaris slink in the shadows of the furniture. No, they were all off with their exam, working to fulfill their promise and move another step forward to being heros.

But there was a stranger in their home. She was offered a spot at UA, from her other hero course. Why was it her? Over the others in her class, she was certainly not the only one who was worthy of the opportunity. Her instructor had recommended her over the others in her class. He had told her this:

"UA High was scouting for talented individuals in other schools. I recommended you. I think they will light a fire under you. I've seen some of those kids in action, and I gotta say they are definitely inspiring. I know you are unsure about what you want to do. You don't have to accept. But I think you should."

She accepted, mostly on a whim. She didn't know what she wanted, and yet she had made it this far. What of it? What is moving another step forward? It was easier to just keep moving forward for now. Still, as she sat in the dorm alone, playing her handheld consoles, and eating from the bag of candies that she had brought for her classmates as an introduction, she wondered what was so special about the students here at UA in Class 1A.

So, Misaki Miro sat there until her fellow classmates returned to give them a proper greeting of her name. Where she asked that her classmates call her Mimi. And where she had no candy for them to enjoy.

Amaris Alucard
IRh3tec.jpg

Amaris was out of the infirmary, among the other 1A students listening to the headmaster. She hadn't been there for the last battle, but had actually won her fight. It was for that reason she was out, as she had put too much into that fight. It was still a bit demoralizing to hear how her partner in the last fight, who she helped through, was the one who would be withdrawing. They were not particularly close, but she couldn't help but wonder what reason for her withdrawal was. She almost felt slightly responsible... A part of her desired a chat with Adelaide just to see what brought on this departure. That tidbit of information left the vampire feeling a bit solemn and melancholic.

Upon hearing that they were going to have some free time just to themselves for once, Amaris got to thinking about what she could be doing. It wouldn't be long until she was invited with a group to go out on a trip to the mall. Obviously she would agree, having no real reason not to. As for her pick, she would most likely opt to go with Chimera, Dullahan's Flame, or the Grudge

Shunsuke and Isamu
Gregori's Office to the Dormitory
Interaction: @Reanimator Spuds

Shunsuke and Isamu stood among their classmates both exhibiting two different emotions.

Shunsuke looked down, still a little annoyed with his piss poor performance. He'd been more than happy that the others had passed. He guessed there was a "make-up" exam, but had that really been necessary? So many of the things UA had done seemed so roundabout. Maybe it wasn't his place to question it, but he was learning more and more while here that questioning things was important. Even if what he questioned was himself at times.

Isamu meanwhile was overwhelmed with pride. He'd felt happy, more than happy to be of so much use during the exam. It was like he was finally seeing the results of his training. He looked down at his hands, clenching and unclenching his fists over and over with a big smile on his face. Still, he paid close attention to the Principal. Isamu only really looked up though... when Gregori announced that Adelaide had withdrew from the course. At least this version of it?

Ah... So she really did it, Shunsuke thought a bit disheartened to see the girl go. Though he couldn't exactly say he was surprised.

There was no time to dwell on it for either of the boys, however. Neither had actually gotten especially close with Adelaide in the first place, but the next bit of information gave them each a decision to make. Who would Shunsuke and Isamu choose to train under going into their field work? Of course, Isamu considered Chimera first and foremost, but Dullahan's flame was also a possibility. He'd have to think about this very hard. Shunsuke on the other hand could only really consider Electros. He was the number 2 hero after all! But barring that, maybe The Grudge would be a good fit? She was related to Titan, and powerful in her own right. Besides, there were things he could learn from either of the heroes.

"Yes sir!" The two boys instinctively responded as the class was told to leave the man's office. They had much to think about over the next weekend. Even more when they arrived at the dorm and found a new face.

"Ah... H-hello," Isamu said softly as he approached the new girl. She was tall. Not the tallest person in the class, but still tall. He approached her, not to close to avoid a blocked view by her... He swallowed hard a slight blush on his face. "I'm Isamu... Are... Are you lost? A new student maybe?"

Shunsuke came up beside Isamu. "I'm Shunsuke," he added to introduce himself as well. "But you can call me Shun if you want." The purple haired boy smiled at the new face. UA really was turning out students huh? It was kind of interesting.

Masaru let out a sigh. They had more or less left the license test, as unconventional as it was, as victors yet the fact they had lost and gained yet another peer was a bit disheartening. Who it was only made it more of a damper on Masaru's mood. He still wasn't quite over the dance fiasco, feeling quite guilty as the person who went to the event with her. Other than that, he and Adelaide were friends and trained with each other. She wasn't his closest relationship, but she was still someone Masaru wasn't happy to see go. He could only hope that things panned out for her.

Then there was the matter of field studies. Masaru scratched his head as he left, too caught up in his own thoughts to will for conversation with the others unless approached. He would be seeing them on the weekend anyway, some of them at least. He needed to think seriously about who to train under. Grudge was an excellent choice for situational tactics and combat technique, but while Masaru wanted to improve in regard to that, he was afraid the difference of quirk and style wouldn't allow him to learn as much as he could. Chimera was a support type. Dulluhan's Flame was probably a better fit for people like Ayame or Charlotte who were exemplary with trickery and strategy. Electros' was more flexible, like his.

That had to be the best choice for him. He was the second rank too. Of course, that would make him more popular, but hopefully Masaru could get a spot in his group. The boy only hoped that Ichirou's uncle took more after his sister than grandfather.

It was sad to hear that Adelaide had gone; another friend to leave before even the first year was done. Such was the nature of the current situation. Charlotte was still unhappy with the results from the license test. She got another attempt like the others, but even though they won the bad blood between her and Shizui had only worsened. Thus far, it seemed as though the two had adopted an unspoken rule to simply avoid each other

Pushing aside thoughts of the bitchy one, Charlotte needed to think on who to choose for her field studies. Probably someone like Dulluhan's Flame, Chimera or Grudge. Eventually, she decided on Grudge. She already knew how to strategize and think on her toes. She needed to learn how to fight better. Next time she fought a villain, or sparred with a peer, or Shitzui, Charlotte wanted to be able to throw them out of the ring herself.

Smiling contently, she submitted that as her choice and left to go prepare for the weekend ahead of her.

Kanna Tanaka - Ayame Daichi
Thinking about the options and happy for her test, Ayame would go to visit her father and friends, though it seemed only two could go, the question was who would it be of them? How would they even decide that? Should be interesting either way and fun. But more importantly was the free time as Ayame happily plays with her cellphone, ordering tickets for the zoo in advance, that would be her fun time!

Kanna on the other hand was not sure where to go and took it all in stride for the time being, if all else failed she could stay here or maybe take a bus or train back home for a day or two. Provided she was back in time that would be fine, right? Noticing Ayame, she too had made up her mind. Misoka, or rather Dullahan's Flame would be her choice. The pair had a history and there were no others she seen to consider off the bat right then and there. Smiling thinly she reaches out to tap the girl on the back, who promptly jumps.

"KANNA! Oh you startled me! Hiya!"

"Ah, I'm sorry Ayame, what are you up to?" She asks staring at the phone.

"Oh! To the Zoo! I want to see the Red Panda! But hmm what about you?"

"I'm not sure yet, how about we go back to the dorms now, meet the new person?"

"Huh? Oh Yes! We Should!" With that the two girls leave, coming in behind the others who had beat them so far, Ayame waves and Kanna bows in greeting. "I assume you are our replacement for Adelaide? Welcome to Class 1A, I'm Kanna and this is.."

"Ayame! Hiya! I like the cold weather!"

So this was who would take Adelaide's place? Neither had known her too well, though she was still a friend that both went to risk in helping, they could only hope she had made the right choice in regards to leaving.

U.A Dorms
Speaking with Isamu
Interactions: @Demon Shinobi

He should have felt some type of pride for his win, especially since he did win and in his second fight, he learned from his mistakes and earned it, though he may not have needed a second chance of he actually worked better as a team. Whether or not others could see it, he was much different than he was before, sure his ego was still as massive as the moon, but he could now look back at his mistakes and learn from them, maybe the help of charlotte, Isamu and others.

It looked as though most others were more concerned of Adelaide's farewell, he never had much interaction with her so he didn't much care, instead, he had more pressing issues with one being who his field studies teacher would be, none really caught his ear except for Dullahan's Flame, who seemed to have a quirk somewhat like his and maybe she could teach him a thing or two.

But his first task was to make amends with the few lefts that he hurt, his next task scared him the most, Isamu. He couldn't just take back what he said but maybe if he could just explain how much he regretted what he said, hopefully, he could earn back his friendship. It took him some time to track down his ex-friend until he saw him interacting with Shunsuke and a girl he didn't recognize.

"Shunsuke, new girl I've never met before...Isamu can I talk to you for a sec?" He quickly brushed over the other two, he didn't care for talking to someone new and especially Shunsuke. "Please?"

As Ayame wandered about the dorms she searches to ask what the rest had planned, a few zoo tickets in her hand, it would be nice if someone wanted to go at least, checking the living area first to see who was about, she hums happily to herself, taking note of a few others here maybe some of them had nothing to do…

"Oh Hi guys! Doing anything with the break?"

"Minus the cooking for celebrating our licensing victory I have naught much else planned," Jet called from the kitchen area prepping some red bean buns for said celebration. The dragon boys tail flicked right as he turned to see the girl carrying some pieces of paper. With a raised brow Jet watched the red panda girl intrigued by whatever she seemed ready to ask of them.

"Did you have something you need others for," he straightforwardly asked.

Mimi had been helping Jet with the meal prep, eagerly waiting her desert. When Ayame arrived, she looked over to her, and her face immediately softened at the sight of her. She shook her head a little, before saying, "I am going to the mall, but I have time." This was perhaps the longest sentence she had said since she arrived.

Masaru popped his head up from behind the couch. Propping himself up against the arm of the sofa, he seemed to be holding a book or comic of some kind, hanging one arm over the top while the other held the book.

"Nothing different from usual. Just relaxing," Masaru replied simply.

"Lame!" Ayame says of them, or more like Masaru, running up to him she scans her phone to his as if not giving him any say. "I'm going to the Zoo! Why don't you two come as well? I have plenty of tickets, I didn't want to go alone, Masaru gets conscripted!" She says with a smile as she holds her phone up to the rest to use it's packet transfer feature. Japanese phones tended to as a general rule have many more capabilities than their western counterparts given the importance the Japanese placed upon their communication systems. "You know the really big zoo near Tokyo!"

"Wha-" Before Masaru could retort, his phone was scanned and he was apparently conscripted. It wasn't as if he minded, more of that he was called lame. "Conscripted? Are we going to war?"

"Sounds intriguing enough. I am game to have the zoo experience," Jet responded as Ayame transferred phone information. Jet had never been to a zoo before,but had heard about them. Taking out a few red bean buns he carefully handed one to Ayame, and Mimi before shoving one into Masarus open mouth as he spoke.

Mimi was too busy enjoying the Bean Bun that was placed in her hands, as she had been eagerly waiting for them. She looked back at Ayame, half listening, half silently fawning over her adorable ears and tail, all the while shaking her head in acknowledgement.

"Mph-!" Masaru bit into the bun. He grabbed it with his hand and pulled the food item out of his mouth as he looked at Jet with narrowed eyes. "It's good but please don't shove random things into my mouth Jet… Either way, sounds fun."

"Hahaha." Ayame says, taking the bun in hand. Nodding along as the rest agreed to go, this would do for now. "Well let's go then..err if that's okay, I can have a taxi pick us up and naive Masaru! Every day is a war!" She did seem more active the cold the temperatures around them dropped, though she was still the same, just more perky.

"I wanna see the Red Pandas and the Polar Bears, though they have lots of other animals." She says pulling up a map, she seemed to really be looking forward to this. "I would ask more of you in the class to come, Kanna mostly, but I think most others have plans.."

"Charlotte's going to the mall with some others, so that'll probably turn into a whole other thing," Masaru replied simply. It was kind of funny how excitable Ayame was with the change of weather. "What, no love for the other pandas?"

"Well actually red pandas aren't actually pandas," Jet corrected Masaru as he turned to his fellow beastial friend.

"Why not. Kanna just needed me for the material preparations,and Mimi is helping with the desserts," he answered ready to go when they were.

"What Heresy did you just say?" Ayame says looking at Jet with wide eyes and small pupils.

"I have you know Red Panda's are the only pandas! The so-called Greater Panda is a bispectible bear! It's not even a bear or a panda!"

"My apology," Jet smirked holding back a laugh at Ayames rather cute attempt to be threatening however he nodded to her answer accepting it as fact.

"Hmph.. well off we go!" With that, Ayame shoes them off to get ready as she calls for a Taxi, along the way the driver expressed his unease with the mass breakout and how nice it was to see young kids like themselves having fun in these times as they headed for Ueno Zoo, it had changed a bit over the years but the zoo was still there, looking out at the entry grate Ayame seems in rather good spirits as she looks a visitor guide.

"So what did you all want to see first? They even have a monorail we can ride."

"Otters," Mimi said, still munching on her bun. Ayame was very cute, especially when she was excited about something. If she kept like this, Mimi would never question the fearless leader of Class 1A where she now resides.

"Then what is it…?" Masaru questioned in a deadpan, but soon enough they were all ushered off into a taxi. Glancing at Mimi, apparently otters were the target first. Masaru for his part, shrugged. "The aquarium would be pretty cool after."

"Well there are several around Tokyo, I'll let you pick that." Ayame says blankly, looking at the map there were a fair number of public exhibits and educational booths, with an aquarium as well it would make for a long enough day trip, well they only had today and tomorrow before they were ushered off to work when not studying, might as well make the most of it.

"What about you Jet?"

"I hear they have a petting zoo I would think that is the most enduring experience for a zoo to have correct," Jet voiced a bit annoyed that the creatures were all caged for the most part.

"Err.. Yeah they should. I mean it is a zoo." Ayame adds in as they walk up to the ticket booth, showing her phone, paper tickets are handed over and the entrance awaits. Coming inside, it seemed much like most typical Japanese Zoo's. The Exhibits were close to the public with glass or caged dividers and first up seemed to be a shop for various souvenirs for those on the way in and of course, out. Looking at a map any of the semi-aquatic life would be near the rear in a building, the Red Pandas had an enclosure and the petting zoo seemed to be mid way and outdoors, roughly.

Mimi moved over to Ayame, and looked over to see the map, excited to have more time to hang out with her new classmates. Making friends didn't seem like it was going to be that hard in the end. She popped the last of her bun in her mouth, ready to get going.

"Seems the otters are rather close in junction with the aquarium," The dragon pointed out as the group headed out. This being Jets first zip experience lead to quite a few curiosities as Jet stared at the creatures trapped in their enclosures… a bit annoyed. This was not a easy for such creatures to live in his mind, but at the same time they were technically safe from nature. Yet all creatures yearned for freedom like any human being. It was a mixture of experience laid bare on the dragons blank face as they walked about.

"Seems the otters call this area home," he called to Mimi as he got to the railing to watch the furry water animals.

"Huh," Masaru mused to himself as he leaned onto the railing to watch the otters. The creatures appeared quite active, scurrying around and swimming in the water. He watched them a few moments before moving over to Ayame to peek at her map and ascertain what all the zoo had for exhibit. "Aquarium is that building there… Red Pandas there… Erm… fake Pandas there…"

"Hmph." With that Ayame turns her nose up to him before watching the otters briefly. "I'm going on ahead, don't worry about catching up, we got all day and I'm not hard to spot!"

With that Ayame heads off on her own to the Red Panda enclosure watching the small animals at play. They would come up to the wall to grab and lick apple slices or fall from branches before rolling around and scampering off to play. Smiling at her favorite animal, they seemed to notice her, waving; they start to stare at her with pleading eyes, with one of them pointing at a bucket of apples kept out of reach by the caretaker. She understood, but the question was what to do now, as she glanced back and forth.

Mimi was quick to head off in the direction that Jet had motioned to and quickly sped off to watch the furry, fuzzy water cats play on water slides and eat. When she had arrived, a handler was already in the middle of feeding them. Mimi jealously watched as they all swarmed around their legs all hopping and squeaking with excitement. However, she was not privy to the plans that Ayame was cooking up. As it stood, it would take quite the commotion to get Mimi to leave her prefered location.

"I think it would be breath to catch up with our own red panda," Jet spoke up as the otters became distracted. Motioning Masaru he also added.

"I believe the red pandas are a part of the petting zoo if your interested Mimi?"

Mimi, reluctantly left her vantage point over the furry river creatures, relenting to the tall lizard.

Sneaking into the enclosure while the guests and workers were distracted, Ayame knocks over the apple pail. The Red Panda's are quick to react, jumping for them, and one sits on Ayame's head as it squeals happily. But they needed more apples.

"I'm not sure they are… I think they're just part of the normal exhibit. Either way, I'm gonna go find Ayame," Masaru stated as he began making his way over to where the exhibit was. As he reached the barrier, the boy's face distorted into confusion at the sight in front of him. Ayame had broken into the exhibit. "Ayame! What are you doing!?"

"I am freeing the oppressed!" She shouts back at Masaru as the Panda's park and point at him in challenge, almost like Ayame herself who was arguably cousins with them did much the same. "THE RED PANDAS WILL HAVE ALL THE APPLES!"

Elsewhere a Raven haired lady with a strange red eye looking stone at her chest waves at the other two watching the Otters. "Hiyah!" She says in greeting, wearing a white top and green skirt.

"Hm? Ah hellooooo…. Oh dear souls," Jet had turned to address the girl who had came out of the blue, but upon Ayame's rather loud claim had now seen the sudden transformation of the days going ons. The dragon watched from afar as Masaru started his strange battle of situation with Ayame.

"Apologizes seems some of my friends are in a rather strange situation," Jet apologized to the rather schoolgirl dressed newcomer as he looked between her,and the situation being by the red panda exhibit.

"Was there something we could help you with," Jet politely asked giving the now notable gemstoned girl attention leaving Masaru to handle the situation on his own for now.

"Who the hell's oppressed! They get pampered and fed in an exhibit with no predators or threats!" Masaru retorted quickly, recoiling a bit as the pandas began to bark at him and point in an almost human-like manner. "Are you really staging a coup at the zoo just to get some apples?!"

Mimi noticed the commotion happening behind the new girl, not quite sure what to think of. She couldn't see Ayame, but could see Masaru shouting out about staging a coup. She pointed behind the girl.

"What's happening there?"

Back at the Red Panda pen, Ayame picks up one of the Red Panda near her and throws it at Masaru, the Red Panda clings to him and starts to climb around, sticking its nose into his pockets as it searches for it's expected apples, or at least some form of snack, as it's claws latch on to his clothes, Ayame readies to throw another one as the rest bark and jump around snatching an apple or two from the bucket.

Back at the otter exhibit the raven haired girl smiles looking at Jet and Mimi. "Oh, I Work here sorta, I'm off shift now.. I umm noticed you all, well no, just you from the Sports Festival that battle you had reminded me of a woman my momma used to fight beside. I'm Sayuri, I don't get to see…" Pausing for a bit at that, her expression seems a little sad as she clutches a smartphone.

"Umm.. Oh! That's where the Red Panda exhibit is, it's their feeding time soon, we can go there if you all want."

"What are you doing with that…" Masaru deadpanned as he saw Ayame lift one of the small animals, cocking it before chucking the creature right at him. "AH WHAT THE HELL!" Masaru let out somewhat of a shriek at the impact. The small panda collided with his head and began to scurry across his body, climbing around him and digging in his pockets while the boy turned and twisted his body in an attempt to catch it. "Throwing them like ammunition is probably the most oppression they've encountered in their lives!"

"All of the apples will be ours and you cannot stop us!" Ayame shouts at Masaru. Sweeping her arm in a gesture that the panda's were quick to mimic.

Masaru's eye twitched slightly as he eventually grasped the Red Panda crawling on him. He tapped his foot on the ground and ice spread from his position into the exhibit before softening and spreading into snow. Afterwards, a slope of ice manifested from the exhibit up to the barrier he was in front of and he sat the panda on it before sliding it down into the snow.

With that most of the panda's stop their antics and start to roll around playing in the snow, not caring about having no apples as they dive and bounce, Ayame looks up at him with a scoff. "Traitors!" She calls the other Pandas while looking for a way out.

Masaru simply folds his arms as he raises a brow, watching Ayame expectantly.

"Well? You did tell me to leave snow around every once in a while for you to play in."

"Sayori… would you like to come join the insanity of my friends at the panda exhibit," Jet offered a line of friendship to the rather seemingly depressed new girl. Motioning Mimi to follow the three caught up to Masarus strange event battle with Ayame.

"So what is the situation here," Jet asked with a raised eye at the snow boy, and the panda girl clearly wanting to hear both sides and why there were a bunch of red panda's about along with a snow slide.

"Oh by the way the girl down their is Ayame, and he is Elsa or that's what most of the girls in our class call him," Jet introduced the two to Sayori before realising he hasn't even introduced himself.

"Ah and I am Jettitare you may call me jet, and this is my friend Mimi," he finished before turning back to ice boy, and panda girl.

Watching the panda's play she sighs, heading down to the employee entrance as she swipes a card, letting Ayame out before returning where they were, the other girl did seem to be a bit happier thanks to the cold.

"So.. How about I clean this all up and you give me your cell number Jet wasn't it? Ehheh, Jettie I think I'll call you, your odd like me and momma, but in a good way!"

Still a bit angry, Ayame makes a hmph sound, crossing her arms. "Well it was okay enough for a date I guess, even if one wasn't smart enough to see it." Sticking her tongue out at Masaru she was quick to climb up a safety wall and run off along the top of it with a childish laugh as she would try and see what more she could before they had to leave.

"My name's Masaru," The boy replied with a narrowing of the eyes. He really didn't need anyone else calling him Elsa among other nicknames. "Ayame wanted to start a coup with pandas over apples."

Explaining that in a deadpan, it was a sentence Masaru never thought he would say in his life, yet here he was and-Date? Turning his gaze to Ayame, before he could question anything, the girl had run off again, likely to get in more trouble somewhere else.

"A-Hey!" Letting out a sigh, he looked at the new girl, Sayuri, and appeared somewhat apologetic before chasing after Ayame intent to do some damage control. "Sorry for the trouble-Ayame! Why do you have to climb on everything!"

Mimi watched all the action that transpired, completely ignoring the girl flirting with Jet. Ayame was causing quite the scene, but she was so cute, and all the red pandas were so happy to have apples that all Mimi could do was silently cheer her on. Though she was sad when Masaru ruined all the fun. Still, Ayame was immensely cute, even when mad, heading off real quick to find a snack stand and buying a candy apple for her, missing the girl asking for Jet's number before running to try and catch Ayame, hoping to give her a treat.

As Kanna gathered her things and took a final check around she heard the sounds of one working out, while in passing from the joint fitness floor, everyone else was out and about or preparing to do such. That begged the question of who was still here, her first guess was one of the males, it wasn't Jet, Masaru wasn't the sort, Shunsuke or Ichirou were likely, stepping out onto the floor her instincts proved correct, it was Ichirou.

"Ah Ichirou-san are you staying here all alone..?" She said speaking up as she approached him.

Ichirou had been working on his exercises, toning his muscles and training his stamina once again. After his intense fight with the White Tiger and Bonebreaker of Class 1B, Ichirou felt that his training, once again, needed to be enhanced and improved. He was slacking, and he couldn't allow that to happen. Had they been actual villains, he and K' would have been put on the ropes and possibly even killed.

At the moment, he was sitting on the bench of one of the strength equipment. He was sweating and panting heavily, taking a moment's rest. He had plans to continue, until he saw Kanna enter the room.

He gave her a smile. "Hey; Yeah, I figured I should up my game a bit while I had the time. What are you up to?"

"Hmm.. Much the same, but I was heading home, they can take what I can throw out better there… Ah I know, would you like to come with me? Just uh let me explain things to them if you come otherwise.. Well let's not worry about that now. I mean you'll get better training there, Mother is stronger than me, my siblings weaker, father is slightly above me and you won't be left here all alone, well even if it's one day." She offers.

Smiling thinly it would be awkward if she had to tell him her parents planned a gauntlet for any potential partners for herself. Though she was earnest in her offer at least, it would be good training.

He listened to her offer, visibly intrigued by it. The opportunity to train with people as strong and stronger than Kanna was very tempting. So much so that he didn't see any other reason why he should decline save for "this was Kanna's family."

Still, she was extending this offer to him, and it did seem like a great way to train and possibly pick up new techniques while he was there.

"If I won't be intruding on anything, then I'd be happy to go. As you said, I'll get better training there than if I stick around the usual gym equipment."

"Alright we'll take the train this morning then it's a short walk from the village stop, I think just a one day stay unless you had no other plans then we can wait and return that evening rather than the morning. Something to consider later." With that Kanna makes the arrangements as the two have a rather uneventful trip to the western coast of Japan, it was more or less as she said, a small quaint village where most knew Kanna and greeted her in passing, old people and children a few adults, old signs and little in the way of the hustle and bustle that was Tokyo, in the aftermath of the wars, these regions mattered little to hero society, or so it seemed by the lack of product placement. Emerging from the "city center" or what passed from it a wooded path could be seen on hilly land, a temple in the distance just poked above the trees.

"We'll be there soon. Umm..no.. it'll be fine I..think." Not giving Ichirou time to second guess himself or her reluctance she hurries along the path yet again without incident as they come out upon a field, small house and the aforementioned temple. The grounds were rough in some places a few broken bits of machinery and a pile of old broken walls could be observed with other oddities that looked to have been smashed in by hand, a broken tractor was seen stacked on blocks with some tools in an attempt to undo the damage. Kanna for her part covered her face in embarrassment before sighing. "The Cleanup was still going on I see.. I'm so sorry for the mess.. Er, please wait out here I need to find mother before she misunderstands while you are here, I'll let you watch our things."

With that she bows and frantically heads towards the house, when without warning a large man in old style clothing pops up, a drinking gourd on his back. "Ah! So you are who Kanna brought!" Laughing in a happy fashion it was clear this man was somehow blocking a murderous aura, though not his own as a giant farm plow flies through the air past them.

"Ara, Ara, well he smells a bit like two I knew.. The kids are away hunting but I think we can test him, huh? Hey, get ready, we won't hurt you..much."

With that a Green haired woman steps out of view, having been working the field as the husband chuckles. "She moved faster than I expected, wonder where she is, well, let's see if he can spar."

Throughout the duration of the trip, Ichirou received a little sense of nostalgia. Back when he was younger, he would take long trips like this one towards more off-beaten paths that looked not properly cared for while they headed towards the mountain area his grandfather resided in. Not only were there feelings of nostalgia, but the minor PTSD he received from his mentorship was already making him nervous. More that he was afraid a giant hulking old man would come at him in a wolf pelt and large axe from nowhere again.

What Ichirou noticed as well was Kanna's reluctance for some reason. He, at first, believed he might have been the problem, but surely that couldn't be, right? Why did Kanna offer him to tag along if she didn't want him to go in the first place? What was she nervous about?

He wanted to ask her, but there was no guarantee he'd receive an answer.

Upon arrival to the village, Ichirou took in his surroundings of the area. It was different than what he pictured it would look like, but the people they passed seemed nice and it would definitely be a change from his normal city life.

A day training with Kanna and her family was fine by him. It was better than spending his time in the mountains with a half naked Masaru and an old man that attacked harder than a bear.

Ichirou politely waved off her apology and did as asked, waiting and looking around.

Thanks to his mentorship, Ichirou sensed someone coming towards him and he quickly looked in the direction, body tense and ready to strike, but thankfully, that wasn't necessary. He relaxed and smiled back at this person. A relative of Kanna's? Probably her father if he had to guess.

Then another; a green haired woman who he could guess was Kanna's mother. For the murderous aura and the… er, two very large reasons she had.

"A test? Spar?" He asked the older man, "Sure, I'd be happy to spar. I hope I'll learn something while we're at it."

"Haha, that so? I think I like him already." The man says with a smile.

"Oh? He smells like one I smashed to bits long ago at this age. Let's see how he holds.."

As she charges in to smash him and the man goes for a spinning Kick, Kanna throws the Tractor at the trio as her mother smashes it aside. "KANNA?!"

"Mother No! He's not here for the Test! Well..No, not for the test, he came here to train with me and us. I had hoped to find you all before this.."

"Aww not the Tractor! At this rate it'll never be fixed!"Pausing for a bit he sighs. "Come young man, I am Ota and she is my wife Ayai, we'll let her and Kanna clean up the mess while we can have a talk..you see we thought you were here to wed Kanna...er.. You see all of us have physical quirks with lots of power so we made up a test where if the spouse to be can survive out beatings they could wed her then.. Last thing I want is a son in law being killed by his child on accident.." Bowing low at that, he stands up and smiles, offering his gourd. "It's just water, want some? Anyways follow me and we can talk see how strong you are that way."

Before the three could get started, Ichirou was forced to cease and had readied himself to take out the tractor if Kanna's mother hadn't done so. He blinked, wondering what "test" they were talking about and why Kanna had stopped the sparring.

As Ota explained further, Ichirou's cheeks turned dark red in color and a look of surprise on his face. They thought he was here because he wanted to marry Kanna?! He didn't even know what he was going to have for lunch tomorrow, much less who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with!

Regardless, he took a breath to ease the shock. Ichirou decided he wouldn't comment on the "test" and any of that. He would either sound like he found Kanna repulsive or that he was head over heels.

"I'm Ichirou; a pleasure to meet you both." He gave the two a polite bow in return.

Ichirou declined the drink of water then asked. "Where are we going?"

He wondered how Ota was going to test his strength, but whatever it may be, verbal or surprise physical, Ichirou was ready.

"To the Temple, I have a few training tools up there, though we mostly train through work. Hunting, protecting the villages from animals, plowing the fields, moving rubble. Training that is..well training gets repetitive and dull, so we make use of it in our day to day activities, surely you noticed how often or varied Kanna trains? She wouldn't have brought you otherwise."

He nodded a few times in acknowledgement to the information, listening to Ota as he spoke. "Yes, everyone's seen her training at UA. Her dedication has really motivated others to train harder, myself included." Which was true; Ichirou wanted to be the best he could be, and from watching Kanna train, he decided he needed to up his game a little more. "That's really interesting. My grandfather thinks the same way, now that I think about it. Everything he does becomes some type of training."

"Who was your grandfather? While my wife might can sniff who you are kin to, such is beyond me, haha.. I have a quirk called tranquil combat, it's helped my wife a great deal after she fell from the sky before me.." Pausing a bit at that he smiles. "Haha, the Kami bless. So is there any way you would like to help out the villagers for the day you two are here?"

"His name is Hyousuke, if I remember right. I just call him "grandpa" mostly. He keeps away from technology; Believes in hard work in the wilderness instead of gadgets."

Ichirou listened, a nod after Ota explained his quirk before the friendly look he had on his face turned to a confused one. "She… fell from the sky?"

His parents never told him that part. Then again they could have never known what happened to Ayai.

"Well, my Blue Inferno quirk can help you with heavy lifting and starting fires, I can definitely help with farmwork, and I have hunting experience so I can help with that too." Ichirou was thinking aloud at this point. "Honestly, I'd be happy to help any way I can."

Ichirou would never complain about the work, be it shoveling animal crap or helping old ladies around town. Ota could give him any task he wanted.

"Yeah it's a bit of a story.. So wilderness huh..and hard work. Supper will be at six sharp, the other two will join us then. Well you two are here only for one day.. For now help out Kanna with the repair work and with hunting, we'll cook what we kill."

With that Ota slaps Ichirou on the right shoulder, before booming a loud laugh. "But yeah, fell right from the sky and landing on my temple roof, took a long time for her to recover, was a very hard time for us all. Kanna!" He yells out as she comes walking in.

"Yes father?" "Take your Blue fire friend here and do some hunting and repair work, the two of you can clean up easy enough I think." "As you wish." Bowing lightly she smiles, beckoning Ichirou to follow her. "So any questions?"

Ichirou bowed his head a bit to Kanna's father before looking over to her. "What sort of repair work are we doing?" He asked, following her once she started leading the way. Ichirou, so far, thought everything was pretty enjoyable. It was peaceful, despite the war-stricken environment. Though it was embarrassing that Kanna's parents had tried to test his worthiness to marry their daughter, it was nothing he would worry about.

"Oh mostly clearing rubble from our family battles or natural disasters near the villages. We can do either one, the hunt might be more of a problem but we got awhile for that. Let's start on the repairs here then if time allows we can help out the villagers too."

As the two got to work it would take some time, it was physically hard work but not anything those two could not endure, lifting up a pillar together they were making good progress.

The work, to Ichirou, was great for his muscles. Lifting the rubble and pillars, with or without Kanna, was great for his muscles. And thanks to his mentorship, he was able to withstand the fire of his quirk as if it were almost nothing.

By the end of their work, Ichirou had never felt so energized after such a laborious task.

"Is that all the rubble?" He asked her, taking a look at their hard work.

"Here at least, but it's getting rather late, I'm not sure we can help the villagers, we can try, I'll leave it up to you to decide.. We still need to capture our meal."
"The hunt will take longer than helping the villagers. Let's go catch our food, and if we see anyone who needs help, we help them. Sound good?"

"Hmm that is agreeable, is there any meat or fish of note you wish to have, something rarely found..well hardly ever if ever seen in a shop? Like deer, bear, boar or fish like trout?"

"Hm, I had plenty of deer, bear, and boar during my mentorship. How about trout?" Ichirou would rather not think about his "lovely" mentorship with Masaru, and the meat from wildlife would bring him back to just that.

"Alright there is a stream not too far from here, it has all sorts of fish, but the trout run well this time of year. We do fish by hand or spear if that is something you can handle, this time of year the water will be cold so we need to work fast."

She says, leading them off to the mountain stream. The current was swift but mangable and fish could be seen jumping up time to time.

With a nod of affirmation, Ichirou followed close by as they headed towards the mountain stream. The wilderness around him made him at ease, and there was no sense of impending doom thanks to the mountains here being relatively snow free.

Approaching the water, he could see that this was infinitely times better than the frozen waters he had fished from during his mentorship. This should be simple, unless these fish were super somehow.

Were they going to fish bare handed in their clothes? Ichirou had fished in the frozen climates without his shirt or pants on so the water would not drench his only source of warmth. He didn't want to undress and potentially embarrass the two of them.

Taking a middle road, Kanna just rolled up her Hakam at the pants and arms, she is just able to remove her socks and sandals, getting into the stream without issue as she is quick to grab a fish, looking up at Ichirou with a smile, she gives a wave. "Well come on! Don't get your clothes too wet!"

Ichirou smiled back. He rolled up his pants legs as much as he could and removed his socks and shoes. He had left his electronics back at home since he was certain he'd get no reception in the mountains, so there was no need to worry about that thankfully. Ichirou would then step into the stream with her, watching the water for movements.

He was eerily quiet as he watched, with very subtle breathing. Then…

There!

Quickly, Ichirou zipped down and grabbed one of the trout that had been swimming nearby. He held it tightly by the tail, letting nature take its course and waiting for it to die. While the fish lost its breath, Ichirou started looking around to see if he could catch another.

As the pair went about fishing, not much of note took place, stopping at about 16 fish between them, they head back for the home. Also without incident, as far as things went it seemed peaceful, dropping the fish off at the lower levels the two went up a set of steps in the hillside, leading to the family home as a stone slips from under Kanna with a thunderous impact from a log falling from up above, falling backwards towards Ichirou the later would react swiftly to grab the Miko, finding her on top of him as they hit the ground, his right hand holding something rather large and soft as his grip squeezed it on reflex.

Ichirou had been pretty happy about their excellent fishing trip. With so much, it was bound to feed Kanna's family and maybe a few hungry villagers! Just as he was beginning to be lost in his own thoughts, something occurred. The stone, the log from seemingly nowhere, and now Kanna who had been startled from whatever just happened.

Thinking quick, Ichirou moved to catch Kanna or, at the very least, cushion her fall. What happened alongside taking the impact for her was he would find his left hand hanging onto Kanna by the waist, and the other hand holding onto something far too soft to be the other's abs or stomach.

"Oh no…" Ichirou murmured upon realization, a dark blush on his cheeks. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!"

Oh god, Ichirou was the curse! Not Masaru!

"..." Looking down at him, Kanna sighs a bit before getting up off of him, removing his hand from her chest as she did so. "Hina or Kohei are behind this I bet.. I'm sorry.. Let's just..forget about this. I didn't bring you here for that test."

"Right… Sorry again."

He got up as well, inwardly thankful Kanna didn't start trying to kill him… Though it was still possible she would sneak into wherever he was sleeping and break his neck. He prayed that wouldn't be the case.

"I assume Hina and Kohei are your siblings."

"Yes, they aren't too far behind me, though it wouldn't surprise me if my folks are working on a final one." With that said, she gives a sigh and a shrug, it was an accident on his part, no point hurting him over it. As the pair continue up the steps, her mother, brother and a sister are there to greet them. The boy had black hair with red eyes while the sister had brown hair with matching eyes and looked the most "normal" if not for the same robes as Kanna being on her. Being ushered to the family dining room it was not long till Kanna was sent for by her mother and her father joined them at the table. "So Ichirou-kun, how was your workout?"

As they arrived and Ichirou was ushered to sit down, it was then and there that he felt a bit… vulnerable? In a whole new place, knowing only one person and dining with the people whose mother had fought his own parents when they were younger. It was strange, but he kept his composure, relaxed, and would treat this dinner as he would any other. Manners, attentiveness, and offer to help if possible.

He turned his attention to the person asking him a question. "Pretty good! The work was great for my body. I've never felt so energized after a workout. Yourself?"

"Ah, I'm getting by, I heard about that spill, don't worry about it.. Still you held up well, Kanna and the wife are likely fixing up our meal for the evening, we've fixed a place for you to sleep in the living room, we don't exactly have a spare bedroom." He says with a laugh while rubbing the back of his head.

Ichirou's cheeks held a subtle blush. Great. He was sure Kanna's siblings were more than excited to tell everyone what had happened. At least he wasn't being attacked for it.

Hearing the sleeping arrangements, he smiled and bowed his head a bit. "No, it's fine really. Thank you for hosting me."

The following morning, Ichirou had made sure to get up nice and early. He cleaned up the living room space he took up (folding up blankets, fixing the pillows, etc), performed his morning routine, then had gone outside to begin his exercises… only to get caught up in something else.

Ichirou had wandered not too far off, assisting villagers in their everyday tasks and whatever else he could do for them. They were so polite to him, and he was just as kind if not moreso. More or less, Ichirou was certainly receiving a workout but in the form of different tasks and labor the more elderly villagers couldn't do instead of running laps, pushups, or situps.

Kanna for her part was content to watch or do tasks of her own as she went to get Ichirou, tugging on his sleeve during a work project.

"Hey, it's time to go, train leaves in an hour." And with those simple words the visit had now at last ended and the two would soon be back at UA with time to spare.

UA - Headmaster Office

With the weekend now approaching it's end it was time for the first of the field studies, Grigori looks over his list, all of the students had picked for themselves at least. There would not need to be anything done on his part, minus two irregularities, they might need to be sent elsewhere the more he looked at the documentation. This would take up most of their days that weren't devoted towards studies, or at least the weekends. Such burdens for those so young... After all the UA was a normal school with a hero course or it's support components slapped on. The Prison break did not help matters at all. He only hoped they all would be fine.. Either way, today would be the first day, hopefully things wouldn't get too out of hand. The Hero gear and suits had already been sent ahead for them to make use of at each destination.

Kanna Tanaka - Ayame Daichi - UA Dorms - to parts Elsewhere

That morning Kanna and Ayame would meet together heading to the bus stop near the UA Entrance having had a quick breakfast, looking at the Itinerary it seemed Cupie, Yosuke, Heisuke, Shizui would be joining them as they all headed away from the school heading into the outskirts of Tokyo there would be hardly any time to speak before they were at their destination, or a short walk from it at least.

A helicopter pad could be seen in the distance with a hangar and small office like building off to the side, the Flag of Japan and a few agencies could be seen on a pole near the entrance, a Helicopter with familiar markings was being worked on by ground crew as a couple figures hung around the gate. One was Misoka who Ayame ran up to and got a pat on the head, the other was Mister Otaku who pushed his glasses up with the palm of his hand, a glint shinning across them.

Misoka was quick to speak up and react. "I Dullahan's flame want, Kanna, Heisuke and Shizui in my office. We have work to do and no time to spare."

Next Mister Otaku was to speak. "That leaves my niece, Cupie and Yosuke. We'll be going to the Hangar, you all have a bit of a choice to make or we'll have to Rock Paper Scissors it."

~~~
With that each group was separated as Misoka's group followed in her footsteps to the office, a corner of the building they seen before really, most of the complex was the Hangar. Sitting down, she points to three crates that hand names printed across them. "Suit up and announce your hero names. I intend to help you all out what bit I can and will answer whatever questions you may have. but for now I can't waste much time, we have a lot of work to carry out."
Kanna for her part was quick to change, though she had no questions as she took her box to what seemed to be the female showers judging by the sign. Stepping back out she looked much the same minus a pair of metal gauntlets and a kitsune mask.
"Kimiko ready for action." She would wait for the other two, to see what notes they had made of all of this, or what questions and requests they might have, she expected if they had none then Misoka would likely have questions of her own.
~~~

Meanwhile with Ayame's group much the same situation would play out minus the boxes were already in the hangar break room and toilet area respectfully with the later being for Yosuke. "Commander Pandamonium Ready!" She said with a bit of a flourish, seemingly pleased with herself. As Mister Otaku and four other figures look on, waiting for the other two to arrive before they voiced the problem.

"You see, there are three of you, five of us."

"And a whole lot of work, sorry kids can only spare two."

"Yeah which is the problem we can't decide."

"So we will speak a little and you all can decide."

Added in a new voice for each part, either they had practiced beforehand or they were used to working together.

"Names Grimmjaw, how yah doin. I'm about kicking ass and taking names and manipulating metal!" Says a pink haired man with razor sharp teeth.

"I am White Wind, while I might be a little bit of a mouse I work hard and help the wounded and sick with the voice of the wind." Says a rather small woman in a white uniform with a few modifications, she had mouse ears and a tail but otherwise looked human.

"Mister Otaku here. My quirk allows me to manipulate materials into useful components for electronics or getting into locked rooms and the like."
The Man in glasses says.

"Red Eagle, most call me flyboy. My quirk just gives me great eyesight and a bit of strength. You see that 100 Yen piece at the entrance? No? Well I do." Says the man in a pilots garb.

"Running Vector here. If my feet can touch it I can run up it, parkour is my game." Says a woman in a jumpsuit with police markings

Ayame looks at her two fellow students and shrugs. "I don't want to vote, they all are like family to me, so unless you guys want one of them for sure I think they can RPS it out." She says, not too helpful at all.

Grudge's Safehouse

The morning of, another group would make a journey off campus. Charlotte, Jet, and Octavia were to study under Grudge, though this particular hero wasn't known to have any agency nor work often with sidekicks. So, rather than given the address of some corporate-looking building, the group would find itself searching for—a warehouse?

It was a plot of warehouses, some used for storage, some abandoned, and one was Grudge's safehouse, the very same she spent a time tutoring Shizui in. Originally belonging to Titan, the woman took it over once the man retired, making use of it when choosing not to use her husband's agency. On the inside, it was fully kitted with training equipment, computers, police scanners and the like as well as furnishings and a kitchen for extended periods of time. On the outside—it pretty much resembled the others.

"Mm… We got a number but… unfortunately it doesn't seem to be helping…" Charlotte murmured as she continued to glance around, unfortunately lost with the other two. "Why do they all look so similar…"

As the group searched for it, while seemingly no others were wandering around, suddenly they were two crossing their path. One was a multi-armed woman and another a much younger girl of about their age. The teenager had long black hair and large, vibrant red eyes. She wore a long, sleeveless black dress, some black boots, pantyhose or socks long enough to hide the top under the dress and a white bow in her hair that seemed to be the only thing that broke the gothic appearance, save for her irises. As the pair grew closer to the group, the girl looked at the trio before her eyes widened and a grin stretched across her face, displaying an incredibly sharp and intimidating set of teeth.

"Oh!" She gasped in seeming amusement, closing the distance between them before leaning in slightly to Charlotte, causing the smaller girl to lean back instinctively. The lack of space between them only seemed to make her features more unnerving. "I know you…!"

Another voice soon calls up from down the way towards the grouping following the younger, a woman with a parasol and blazing red hair, bordering near orange, it was hard to believe she was in her 40's if she were to tell you, nonetheless her words gave some hint.

"Shiori! Oh you found them." As she got closer it was clear her belly had a bit of a roundness to it and another child was hiding behind her back. A boy who looked to be around seven. Smiling it seemed she had the same sharp teeth as the girl she called out to. "We were asked to come find you all, I'm..Well you could say I'm family to The Grudge." She never got used to being called Mother, nor asked it of the other. "Tetra is my name, I'm a Doctor and wife to Titan, please come along, we shouldn't keep the dreary one waiting."

"I saw you all in the tournament! You were really cool!" The girl called Shiori seemed to move from person to person, from Charlotte to Jet and then to Octavia before her gaze stopped at the Fosc and the grin widened, almost resembling a shark's.

Charlotte seemed to let out a breath of relief as the gothic girl moved on to someone else, looking at the multi-armed woman with a tilt of her head. "So, you're her step-mother? And you are—" Turning to look at the hyperactive girl, suddenly Shiori was back in her face, causing Charlotte to jump a bit.

"I'm Shiori! Grudge is my step-sister…! Kind of… Anyway, let's go! We'll show you where her safehouse is!" Suddenly, Shiori backed away and turned to lead them deeper into the complex. She waved for them to follow—however now her mouth wasn't the oddest thing about her person. The lower part of her bicep blended into a blackish material that stretched outward and down her arm to resemble a thick claw. As Shiori saw her arm, the girl's face shifted into surprise and she began flailing it, as if trying to change it back. "Ah! It happened again! Sorry! Sorry!"

Doing this as she led the group with a pep in her step, eventually they reached a warehouse that appeared similar to the others, albeit the number matched the information the trio was given and it appeared to be pascoded with reinforced entrances. Shiori pushed a button next to a speaker, presumably to let Grudge know.

"Anego! Your students are here!" She chimed, and after a few moments something unlocked with a clunk and the door opened to allow them entry.

The interior of the warehouse was spacious as the others, but it was furnished with everything a hero could need. Grudge was clothed in her typical garb and leaning over the array of computers and scanners before making her way over.

"Sorry for the trouble… everything picked up so fast, after all… Dear, your arms again," Grudge pointed at Shiori, the adolescent looking confused before noticing her arms had once again turned into claws.

"Well we have Kenta to thank for that." The woman says with a soft toothy smile, patting the younger on the head. "Hmph here you are worried about fighting once more, why not take some time off and work on another offspring? I can't be the only one in this family birthing new additions. When will I have another grandchild to spoil with Titan? Ehh?" While she didn't look it nor called herself it, she was indeed a good mother-in-law, sighing a bit as the little boy who had kept back moves away to hide elsewhere, she pats Shiori on the head trying to calm her a little more.

"So this is the new batch?"

Shiori for her part whined a bit as her arms began to morph back, as for Grudge, the woman folded her arms with a light huff. As if preparing a remark, the pro glanced at the three students before huffing again. If it weren't for her mask, the woman's embarrassment would be easily noticed.

"Yes… This is the new batch, or part of it, anyway," Grudge finally answered as she stepped closer, eying them all. "Well, by now you all know who I am. You're familiar with my husband as one of your teachers, but you will find I am quite different than he is. This field study was never going to be a walk in the park, however it will certainly be even more weighted given the current circumstances. As I said, heroes are busy as of late, and now that you all have your licenses, as long as you are acting under a pro, you are heroes, not students. I will keep you all safe, of course… but this isn't the mentorship or a class. I will not be coddling you. Are there any questions before we start?"

Pausing for inquiries, the woman glances at Tetra, Shiori and the young boy who ran off to hide behind one of the training dummies, before looking back to the group of three. "Oh, and why don't you introduce yourselves? You should get used to identifying yourselves as heroes."

"A-Ah…" Charlotte was rather surprised by the quick introduction, though given the woman's persona, the foreigner should've expected it likely. "Y-Yes! I'm Chevalier! I use telekinesis!"

Watching as the introductions went underway, Tetra lays a hand on Shiori and beckons to the boy. "We'll head out for now, I'll come by later to check on you all, if you need help don't be a stranger." Smiling at that she would likely see them all again, hopefully under better terms or situation than this.

Eisuke and Ichirou

@EmperorsChosen @Demon Shinobi @TheSly

----

Eisuke had not needed much time thinking about who he wanted to take for the field tests, and if you knew him, then the reason would be fairly obvious.

He wasn't a teacher, despite his extraordinary people skills and rank on the Hero charts. He was a perfectionist with an insatiable appetite for a challenge. For opponents that would make his heart race and fuel his adrenaline like never before. Eisuke didn't want some easy ass opponents or some students that were hoping to fight him for the sake of trying to show him up.

He wanted people that could not only guarantee a challenge, but so he could recruit some new faces for the agency he worked for~ So many eager models showed up at Exozu hoping for a gig in the big leagues but they never had the look that Eisuke could work with. The stern, smokey look that drove women (and some men) bananas. The ones with the steely eyes and the ripped bodies that could make any outfit thrown on them look good.

Masaru Takeshi, Shunsuke Saito, Katsu Sanada, and his favorite boy of this group, Ichirou Mizushima. The four who demonstrated they could fight and look good while doing it; a talent not many Heroes had. Eisuke had a good feeling about the three boys; he just needed to give them the opportunity. Ichirou had already received his offer (with permission from mommy dearest) and Eisuke was simply waiting on the answer. Masaru, Shunsuke, and Katsu, though, needed to show Eisuke what they got.

And so, the four respective boys would receive a piece of paper with the instructions to get suited up and go to the address written down for them. It would take them to a large factory that used to be a slaughterhouse. The equipment was still present with a large array of metal conveyor belts, metal machinery, the railings with empty hooks suspending from them, and metal walls. With Eisuke's lightning abilities, the group absolutely needed to be on their A-game or risk touching something that could be devastating.

---

Adelaide's departure had saddened Ichirou, given that she was a very good friend of his and someone he didn't want to see go. He would have loved to keep her in the class and watch her grow to become a successful Hero, but he knew this was for the best. Adelaide was finally breaking away from her mother's rule and making her own decisions. She made her own choice and was doing exactly as she wanted. Ichirou was proud of her for doing what she felt was right. They could still communicate through text messages and phone calls, and when Adelaide came back, he would be happy to make some time for her.

Until then, he had his own work to focus on.

Ichirou had followed the instructions provided to him and his teammates, suiting up in his Hero uniform then following the address to a large factory in the more rural side of Japan. It didn't at all look like what one would think a slaughterhouse would be. In fact, the only hint of the factory's purpose was the "beef processing plant" written underneath the large logo.

Still, they went inside, careful about their surroundings. Though something struck him odd...

"Where is he?" Ichirou asked the others.

Tap tap tap tap tap

From up above, there was a large catwalk that wrapped around the factory walls and one that stretched above the facility that supervisors had used to oversee the equipment and the employees. The noise came from Electros himself. His feet walked in a rhythm that only Eisuke could hear, his demeanor that of a man in charge and yet he walked with the grace of a femme fatale. His long hair swayed behind him elegantly, the thick strands catching the wind and yet none flew out of place. His appearance and his charm held that of both masculine and feminine appeal, which led to him having so many more fans of both genders than what his Heroic popularity already gave him.

Electros paused at the center of the catwalk and looked over the boys. He was in his trademark Hero gear, with his silvery white hair tied up in a ponytail. With his hands on his hips and a smile gracing his handsome features, he looked over the group before him.

"Why don't you guys start by introducing yourselves. Your Hero names and your real names preferably." Eisuke's eyes looked to Ichirou. "Except you Ichi. What kind of uncle would I be if I didn't remember my own nephew's name?"

Cupie

Cupie didn't take long putting on her gear and strapping her guns to her body. She was pumped and ready to get this show on the road. Ayame and Jet were both excellent teammates; people who could complement her quirk and those she was certain she could work well with. She only hoped that things went their way for this field study.

The pink haired girl, with her hands folded behind her head, looked over the five members of the crew. Her mask made it difficult to tell what her emotions were, but the cock of her head gave a good idea what she thought of the five.

'Who the hell are these people?'

Thankfully they received introductions, and now they had to choose who they wanted to fight.

"I'm torn." Cupie admitted, looking between two particular people. "All of them are really cool. I can't pick just one." Running Vector, Mr. Otaku, and Grimmjaw in particular were the ones she wanted to fight against. With such a limited decision, Cupie couldn't really decide.

@EmperorsChosen

Octavia

She was having a hard time keeping herself together. Her poker face, though excellent, was a mask threatening to fall off as she was introduced to one of her many favorite Heroes. Despite Grudge's anti-heroic nature, Octavia still saw a sort of charm to her character that made her want to continue giving the older woman support.

She felt like she was going to freak out, but with a deep breath, Octavia tried to slow her heart rate and settle her nerves. Hopefully all would go well today...

With explanations given and introductions requested, Octavia bowed politely. "I am Corvidae. A pleasure to meet you! I-I have no questions."

Fosc, as Octavia bowed, sat on her head and spread his wings, giving the Pro what looked to be a bird curtsy.
